Re: Smackdown versus Raw 2018: Prepare For War

    WWE Announces New Event Schedule

One night after Wrestlemania, the WWE has announced a huge change in their event schedule for 2018-2019. Many fans know of the Big Five Pay-Per-Views (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Money in the Bank, Summerslam, and Survivor Series), but now those are the only pay-per-view event for the next upcoming year for the WWE.

Now the largest sports entertainment company in the world will begin hosting events exclusive to their own WWE Network. On months where there is no pay-per-view, the WWE will be hosting varying tournaments one weekend a month. An idea similair to the inagural United Kingdom Championship Tournament held in January of last year. The idea of lowering the pay-per-view schedule is not only make Raw, Smackdown, and the events themselves seem must watch, but it also brings hopes for even more subscriptions to the WWE Network. The new schedule is listed below.

    Greatest Royal Rumble - April 27th, 2018
King and Queen of the Ring - May 19th, 2018 and May 20th, 2018
NXT Takeover: Chicago II - June 16th, 2018
Money in the Bank - June 17th, 2018
    A Shot At The Top - July 7th, 2018 and July 8th, 2018
NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV - August 18th, 2018
    Summerslam - August 19th, 2018
    Mae Young Classic - September 8th, 2018 and September 9th, 2018
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic - October 13th, 2018 and October 14th, 2018
NXT Takeover: War Games II - November 17th, 2018
    Survivor Series - November 18th, 2018
    Changing Of The Tides - December 15th, 2018 and December 16th, 2018
    NXT Takeover: Arizona - January 26th, 2019
    Royal Rumble - January 27th, 2019
    Valentine's Day Cup - February 16th, 2019 and February 17th, 2019
NXT Takeover: New York - April 6th, 2019
    Wrestlemania 35 - April 7th, 201

Dig this idea a lot man! You’ve always been one of my favorite bookers on here and I definitely concur with the lessening PPVs to add prestige to the PPVs. Interested to see the tournament idea too!

Re: Smackdown versus Raw 2018: Prepare For War

    Monday Night Raw
    April 9th, 2018
Airing Live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana

    -- A New Reputation --

Last night at Wrestlemania, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey made her in-ring debut for the WWE in an exciting match that shocked the fans in attendance and watching at home. She is opening the show tonight for Monday Night Raw. The former UFC star comes out all smiles as usual with a microphone in hand to discuss her victory last week. Ronda, seemingly stronger on the microphone due to the acceptance of the WWE Universe, thanks everyone for their support from last night. And now… She’s ready for more. “I proved myself to be on the same level as every woman back there. I shut up Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, which no other woman or man would do.” Rousey is going to continue on - potentially going to call out a woman in the back - but she is interrupted...

As she drops the statement, The Baddest Woman on the Planet is interrupted by two woman who have been quite the dangerous since their debut: Absolution. The Golden Goddess Mandy Rose and the former Mixed Martial Artist Sonya Deville come out on stage with Paige by their side and a microphone. In the first encounter between Absolution and Ronda Rousey, the latter had no trouble making quick work of the duo. This time may end up different as there is a legitimate match set to happen according to Paige. The leader of Absolution tells Ronda that Stephanie McMahon is now to fearful to step into that ring due to the broken arm she suffered at Wrestlemania, and she asked the raven-haired beauty to make an announcement: “Later tonight, it will be the always smiling “Baddest Woman” (she said sarcastically) against the women who are real threats to this company. Ronda, baby, we call it a handicap match and it will just you all alone versus Absolution.” A huge announcement coming from the office of Stephanie McMahon through Paige as Ronda Rousey will be making her Monday Night Raw debut tonight.

In the second to last match of the night, Ronda Rousey met Absolution (minus Paige which we will get to later) in their scheduled Handicap Match. However, it was barely different from their original encounter on the Road to Wrestlemania. Ronda held her own in a dominate fashion versus Mandy Rose as Sonya Deville only entered this match for two minutes at most. Sonya tried to match strikes with Ronda, got caught in a side headlock from the woman, and then pushed away Rousey to make a tag to a still hurt Rose. Some dissension came between the best friends, which allowed Ronda to bring Rose into the armbar forcing her to submit with Deville making no effort to help her friend.

As Rousey is victorious tonight, two things have been confirmed from all that took place tonight. Ronda Rousey is a force in the Raw women’s division, and the team and friendship of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville could be on the rocks.

-- The Potential Last Chance --

Roman Reigns was unsuccessful in challenging Universal Champion Brock Lesnar last night in a shocking conclusion to the Showcase of the Immortals. On Raw, Roman Reigns made it clear that a second opportunity coming his way will not be wasted. At the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Roman Reigns will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Now in the weeks leading up to New Orleans, Reigns made his displeasures with not only Brock Lesnar but the WWE known. He continued with that tonight by calling Lesnar a poor excuse of a wrestler, an unsafe person to work with. All of this because Lesnar does not care about anything but the paychecks coming to his house.

With his running down of the Universal Champion, it brings out the champion’s advocate: Paul Heyman. Heyman tells Roman Reigns that running down Brock Lesnar will not get him anywhere anymore. He has to earn a match with his client. And Paul Heyman has been given the authority to make that match to ensure that Brock Lesnar will be facing off with the best that the Raw brand has to offer. Heyman tells Reign he will be apart of a Ten Man Gauntlet Match in the main event of next week’s Raw. The winner challenges The Beast Incarnate at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Roman answers to Heyman he does not care who is put in his way because he will “kick his ass” no matter what.

But Reigns spoke too soon when Samoa Joe made his return to Monday Night Raw through the crowd by locking the Rear Naked Choke on Roman Reigns effectively choking out the Samoan. As Roman laid lifeless, with “Joe” chants surrounding him, Samoa Joe stares Paul Heyman dead in the eye saying “I will be in that gauntlet match next week, and your clients reign is over. That Universal Championship is coming back with Samoa Joe.”

-- Some Are Meant To Last, Some Are Meant To Perish --

Besides Absolution getting rowdy, we also saw women in tag team action as Alexa Bliss and Mickie James teamed up versus Bayley and the Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal Winner Sasha Banks. The underlying story of this match really focusing around Bayley and Banks having trust issues as neither of the women really wanted to team with the other. Alexa Bliss showed more ferociousness in her in-ring work tonight with the loss of her Raw Women’s Championship no longer around her waist. Due to communication issues and Sasha Banks walking out on Bayley, Bliss connected with a right hand full of power to Bayley followed by connecting with the Twisted Bliss to get the team for her victory.

After the match, Alexa Bliss and Mickie James’ celebration is cut short by the arrival of the new RAW Women’s Champion: Nia Jax. The Irresistible Force reminds Alexa Bliss of the events of last night by proudly holding up her championship while she speaks. Nia Jax mentions that Bliss is using her rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship next week, and Nia knows that Bliss is going to do anything and everything to get back the championship. However, Jax has a proposition for her former friend turned bully. Nia does not want to worry about Mickie James, but only wants to worry and finishing this business with Alexa Bliss. So, according to Kurt Angle, next week the Raw Women’s Championship will be on the line but Mickie James is banned from the arena.

The camera goes to an angry Mickie James who demanded Kurt Angle get out there and explain himself. Alexa Bliss had the microphone though and was as calm as ever. Alexa ensured Nia Jax she did not need Mickie James to humiliate her next week and take back her championship. In fact, when Bliss wins her championship back, she will make a point that Nia Jax will never face her again because she wants the poor excuse of a friend out of her life for good. Alexa Bliss finishes off telling Nia that everyone will learn why she is the goddess and Nia Jax is merely a subject. The segment closing out with Alexa Bliss taunting Nia that the championship is “coming home” as Jax holds up the strap.

-- The New Intercontinental Champion --

Kicking off Wrestlemania to an electric start was the WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match. In that match, Seth Rollins walked away with the prestigious championship in tow. Tonight was supposed to be a celebration for the Architect of The Shield, but a certain (bitter) former champion made his presence known instead.

Throughout the night, there were advertisements that Seth Rollins would have a championship celebration commemorating his Wrestlemania victory. When the time came we were “treated” to The Miz and The Miztourage instead. The Miz telling the crowd to the New Orleans crowd that he needs them to shut their mouths because this is a hostile takeover. The Miz and The Miztourage were not leaving thering until The Miz rightfully gets back his Intercontinental Championship. “I spent month after month making sure I made that championship as prestigious as it has ever been. I am not going to sit back and let someone like Seth Rollins ruin that for me. I want back my championship and I want it now.” The Miztourage also making a case known for their leader as they mention that he also changed their careers forever.

As The Miz sits in the ring with The Miztourage hyping them up, the new Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins finally makes his way to the ring with the crowd roaring in approval. He soaks in the approval of the Smoothie King Center while The Miz raises his hand trying to get those in attendance to shut up. Rollins says there is one thing for certain and that is he won the championship fair and square. “I spent the last year chasing after something to prove all my hard work and this is it, Miz.” The Miz responds that Rollins just had a lucky night and The Miz could win back the championship whenever and wherever even without The Miztourage again. Rollins says they can do it tonight, and it seems the Raw General Manager agrees. Kurt Angle then came out saying he has no issues making that whenever and wherever tonight! The Miz immediately regrets the decision as he is “not ready”, but the stage is set for the main event tonight.

In the main event of evening, Rollins and Miz met in a thrilling match up with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Per usual with Seth Rollins, he put together a hot match up with The A-Lister which had the crowd on their feet until The Miztourage made their presence known. As Rollins connected with the Curb Stomp, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas attacked the champion thus creating a disqualification. However, Seth Rollins fought off all three men by himself to receive a great reaction from the crowd. If that was not enough, Kurt Angle ended the show announcing that this all ends at the Greatest Royal Rumble when Seth Rollins defends the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz inside of a steel cage.

-- A Clash of Destruction on the Rise --

Into the tag team scene, there was a surprising change in championships at Wrestlemania when Braun Strowman and hand-picked partner ten year old Nicholas defeated The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championships. On Raw, Kurt Angle called Braun Strowman and Nicholas into his office telling the duo that they had to relinquish the championships immediately. Angle calling Strowman unprofessional for not finding a legitimate tag team partner and using the power granted to him unlawfully. Kurt tells Braun that new Raw Tag Team Champions will be crowned at the Greatest Royal Rumble through a four team tournament. If Braun can find a legitimate partner, he may enter the tournament in a match next week.

However, Braun tells Kurt Angle that he is not meant to be a tag team wrestler as a monster is not meant to be tied down. Strowman instead tells Angle he will enter the Greatest Royal Rumble Match on April 27th and become an International Force of Destruction. That is when Braun Strowman is interrupted… By a returning Bobby Lashley! Angle welcomes Lashley back to Monday Night Raw before introducing The Dominator to The Monster Amongst Men. Lashley keeps his words short and sweet that he is back to be the dominate the Raw locker room and be the best on the show like he was years ago. Strowman immediately steps closer to Lashley stating that this was his locker room and his show.

-- The Deleter of Worlds Arrive --

In the months leading up to Wrestlemania, there was a feud based on mind games between “Woken” Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt. Hardy eventually won the feud through an Ultimate Deletion with his rival followed by pushing him into the Lake of Reincarnation. Then, at Wrestlemania, Bray Wyatt made his return to surprisingly help Hardy win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. On Raw tonight, Matt Hardy happily introduces the audience to a brand new Bray Wyatt whose vessel has been returned to him from the treacherous Abigail. Hardy, with a giant smile showing his teeth, introduces the ‘new and improved’ Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt gives the universe a story regarding his origins when Abigail took over his vessel and used him to create havoc in the WWE. Bray says he was captured by an elder woman when he was just three years old. The woman brought the two into surgery where their brains were replaced for Abigail to continue her destruction through the world for years to come. But now… Bray Wyatt is the man he was always meant to be. And he thanks Matt Hardy for saving him and taking Abigail into the depths of the Lake of Reincarnation where she belongs. Wyatt finishes off the story saying Abigail has wired his brain to follow a path of chaos and hurt but now it is going to be for the positives and bringing success to his and Hardy’s career. Bray laughs into the microphone while Hardy yells they will DELETE The Bar and bring the Raw Tag Team Championships to The Deleter of Worlds.

In action, The Deleter of Worlds worked as if they had been a team before. Their mannerisms and movesets matching almost perfectly, which throws the four time RAW Tag Team Champions off the path of victory. After a roughly five minutes, Cesaro and Sheamus finally went into control over their opponents using their strength versus (what Michael Cole calls) the aging Matt Hardy. In the end, as Cesaro and Sheamus set up for their tandem White Noise, the lights went out in the arena. When they came back on, Matt Hardy was in his corner ready to tag in Bray Wyatt. Bray ran through both men as he threw the illegal Cesaro out of the ring. Moments later, Wyatt connected with the Sister Abigail to give this new tandem their first victory and they are on route to becoming RAW Tag Team Champions.

-- Not All Good News --

Wrestlemania time does not always equal a good time for everyone. That’s fairly evident now when Paige announced her in-ring retirement due to neck injuries later in the evening in between the opening segment and Ronda Rousey taking on Absolution. The same injuries that put her on the shelf for a better half of the year before her return at the end of 2017.

Paige shared a special moment with the crowd with her in-ring retirement announcement. The former two time WWE Divas Champion thanking everyone as her WWE career started in the same place where it is now ending. She thanks Triple H for the opportunities he presented to her, Daniel Bryan for giving her faith to maybe one day be cleared again, and Edge for making her realize that there is more to life outside of what she has always known: wrestling. Paige says this is the end of the road for her inside of the ring, but one thing will always be for sure: This is her house and nobody can change that.

-- New Faces Arrive With Two Returns --

On the Raw after Wrestlemania, it is only usual that some new faces make their main roster debut. This year would be no different as a total of four stars made their debut as one man is following closely behind.

Andrade “Cien” Almas” and Zelina Vega made their presence known as Andrade made quick work to defeat R-Truth in 3:19. After his contest, Zelina Vega introduced him to the WWE Universe saying that NXT no longer had anything to offer the duo and this is where Almas becomes a star.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon made her debut with Raw. Ember Moon went one on one with Dana Brooke for a victory over the Titus Worldwide Statistician. After the debut, Moon warns every woman in the back that she is coming to eclipse everyone to get the RAW Women’s Championship.

Neville made his return to the company as he arrived about an hour into the show. When Renee Young tried to interview him, he looked at the Canadian reporter then walked away.

Jeff Hardy also made his return in an in-ring capacity. He defeated Goldust when Goldust was called out any guy in the back who “had a pair of boots and was prepared to lose.” Hardy also ran into The Deleters of Worlds backstage acknowledging his brother being Woken and congratulating Wyatt for ridding Abigail from his vessel. Judging from the segment it seems that Hardy will not be joining Matt and Bray in their Woken Universe.

Authors of Pain - minus Paul Ellering - made their debut in a quick tag team match versus Heath Slater and Rhyno. Akam and Rezar took a microphone announcing their next chapter begins tonight in New Orleans, Louisiana, and it will continue until they defeat every man in the back.

A vignette aired that Drew McIntyre will soon be joining the RAW Roster.

Re: Smackdown versus Raw 2018: Prepare For War

I think I like the way you do your shows….allows for a breakdown of each story and not having to go back to it or try and fail to remember all that happened with the story.

Good job on getting Rousey even more over and I hope Steph’s broken arm keeps her off tv for a bit. Breaking up Absolution is a good route to go.

Good announcement of the Gauntlet match. I have a feeling that Reigns will still get the title match, but I look forward to see how you get there and what u do if u do give the belt to Reigns. Maybe as a heel.

Simple booking for the womens match and interesting to have Mickie banned from the arena…I wonder what shanigans they have planned for next week.

Good story w/ Miz and Seth and there being a reason for the steel cage match to keep the Miztourage out of the ring. I thoroughly enjoy what
    your putting together.

Good way of getting the belts off of Strowman and getting him right into a feud with Lashley which should be a big battle of strong man.

Good weird promo with Matt and Bray…I look forward to them being in the tag tournament and meeting up with the Bar.

I like the new additions to the RAW roster. Defintly excited about Neville being back. I wonder how your going to incorporate the cruiserweights into the show, if at all.

I LOVE what you got going here…best of luck for the future.

Re: Smackdown versus Raw 2018: Prepare For War

    Smackdown Live
    April 10th, 2018
Airing Live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana

-- Danger from Every Turn --

At Wrestlemania, a dream match was turned into nothing more than a shameful act that will be remembered forever when Shinsuke Nakamura low-blowed AJ Styles. On Smackdown, The Champ That Runs The Camp opens the show where he wastes no time to call out his now former friend. “Shinsuke, I want you out here in this ring with me right now. Explain yourself.” Short and to the point. Except that would not get the champion the man he was looking for. Instead, he was answered by more than one man as the lights went out in the arena. Smoke filled the stage. Sounds of helicopters could only mean one thing… SANitY has arrived on Smackdown Live.

Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain, and Nikki Cross all made their way out to the ring in their own special way as Alexander Wolfe continuously hits Killian and Eric to get his stablemates hyped up while Nikki Cross runs up and down the ramp. After their entrance, Nikki Cross ran circles around the WWE Champion as Styles seemed generally confused about what was happening. Then the males attacked. Alexander Wolfe kicked out the knee of Styles while Young came running with a big boot to the side of his face. The leader and Wofle mugging Styles as they throw down multiple right hands and just stomp on him as if it were a schoolyard fight. Then, they lift him up for Killian Dain to run over and bring all of his weight to Styles and collapsing on the champion. Eric yells at AJ Styles that Smackdown Live is their show now. A quick yet dominating debut that got the world talking about SANitY… Including Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon who made the main event of WWE Champion AJ Styles versus Eric Young.

It should be no surprise that both AJ Styles and Eric Young were able to put together a well-structured contest, which brought the crowd to their feet towards the end of the 16 minute affair. Young and Styles pulled out all of the stops on each other until the very last second when things began to get screwy due to SANitY. Alexander Wolfe would be taken out by Young accidentally, and then Eric almost hit Nikki Cross who luckily fell into the arms of the big KIllian Dain. Thanks to Dain being distracted with Cross, it gave AJ Styles enough time to roll Eric Young into the calf crusher to force the leader of the new Smackdown stable to submit.

With the match ending at exactly 9:59 EST, there was no doubt that the show would end with AJ Styles celebrating his Smackdown victory and no appearance from Shinsuke Nakamura. The audience could not have been more wrong as Nakamura would once again low blow The Phenomenal One before connecting with the Kinshasa to put down the champion. The show ending quite the opposite as everyone expected with Shinsuke Nakamura holding up the WWE Championship.

-- As One Retires, Another Returns --

As Shane McMahon was announcing the main event to the show, he also announced that Daniel Bryan is officially relieved of his duties as Smackdown General Manager and is a full time in-ring competitor. That would bring out the new General Manager, someone in the same situation as Daniel, Paige!

The woman who retired one night ago made it short and sweet with the announcement that she would be running the blue brand. She assured Shane McMahon that she will be a fair and equal employer to every man and woman in the back as Smackdown is the land of opportunity after all. At the end of her quick speech, due to their being ‘lots of business to get down to tonight’, Paige announces that Daniel Bryan would be in singles action later tonight.

At the top of the second hour, Daniel Bryan came to the ring with a microphone in hand to discuss the events of Wrestlemania and how great it felt to be back inside the ring. However, some familiar rowdy fans would not let The Yes Man speak as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were front row to heckle Bryan. That brought out the new GM Paige who had two contracts in hand. Paige tells Kevin and Sami that, while they lost their match at Wrestlemania, the papers have yet to be officially signed for both men to be terminated from the WWE. Therefore, Sami Zayn would be forced to step into the ring in that moment to face off with Daniel Bryan.

Sami, while in street clothes of jeans and a t-shirt, brought the fight to Daniel as his best friend cheered him on from ringside. Zayn decided to exploit Daniel’s injuries early on to have an advantage over Bryan. However, with the heart and fan support that the former General Manager has…. It did not last long for the former NXT Champion. The World Famous It Kicks - according to Corey Graves - or the Yes Kicks - according to Byron Saxton - setup Sami for the YES! Lock as Daniel Bryan was declared the victor following a ten minute contest.

    -- OHNO! A Failed Open Challenge --

Jinder Mahal was on a high after winning the United States Championship and decided to host an open challenge saying that he could beat any man in the back. His opponent was a surprising one as it was long standing NXT Star: Kassius Ohno. As the bell rang, Mahal got in the face of Kassius calling him unworthy before slapping him. That set off a switch in Ohno who turned his back to The Modern Day Maharaja before turning back with a huge forearm to the jaw of Mahal to secure the United States Championship in just a minute and thirty seconds.

Kassius takes the United States Championship from the referee as Tom Phillips puts over how big of a moment this is for Ohno who has spent many years on the independents and NXT. As Ohno celebrates, Mahal is being held up by Sunil Singh with a face of pure disgust.

-- New Stars Refuse To Bow To The Queen --

Two nights ago, the unthinkable happened when Asuka’s undefeated streak ended at the hands of Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. The victory speech was a large part of advertising going into the last show in New Orleans, but it was interrupted by two women making their main roster debut: Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Kay and Royce have been known in NXT as bullies who verbally assault their rival before getting the job done inside of the ring. Their debut would be no different.

The duo now named The IIconics run down Charlotte Flair for getting everything from her father as she has earned nothing in the business given to her. Then, the duo discredit Flair’s victory stating that Asuka has a lot of wear and tear due to all of her battles over the years. Especially with The IIconics in NXT. However, now that Charlotte has done the unthinkable, it is time for The IIconics to make their names known on the big stage by using the Smackdown Women's Champion.

Charlotte is able to fight off The IIconics until The Femme Fatale comes towards Charlotte with a big boot as the champion focused on Royce. Then, an absolutely devastating attack was put out against Charlotte outside of the ring where The Queen was thrown into the barricade and the steep steps before being powerbombed through the announce table. As Charlotte is laid out, it seemed the unthinkable was about to happen when Carmella made her way to the ringside area. She yellled at The IIconics to help her get Charlotte into the ring, but the duo answered by way of Royce connecting with a spinning heel kick to The Staten Island Princess. The IIconics then took microphones again saying they are in this for themselves and nobody else as they leave both the Smackdown Women’s Champion and Miss Money in the Bank out cold.

Also in women’s division action: Becky Lynch defeated Natalya in a reignited feud after Lynch eliminated Natalya in the Wrestlemania Women's Battle Royal. Lynch tapped out Natalya in five minutes with the Dis-Arm-Her to add a W to the win column.

    -- A Reign of Dominance Begins --

In another rivalry reignited: The Usos once again met The New Day in tag team action on this edition of Smackdown Live as the winners will be facing The Bludgeon Brothers at the Greatest Royal Rumble. With roughly seven minutes to work with, the teams pull out all the stops against each other to get a victory over the other. In the ending, Xavier Woods’ rope walk elbow drop was countered with a mid-air superkick for Jey Uso to get the victory for the team.

As The Usos had their hands raised, the lights went out in the arena and came back on to reveal the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions. Harper immediately connected with a discus clothesline to Jimmy Uso thus leaving Jey alone to fend off the duo. Although he was unable to do that. Just moments later, Rowan came running with a big boot to take out Jey. Then, the champions lifted Jey onto their shoulders and threw the Uso brother over the top rope into The New Day who had just recovered from their tag team match. The camera shows each man once again as The Bludgeon Brothers still stand tall - now with the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

Also in tag team match, Fashion Police were successful against the tag team of Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. Shelton Benjamin then turned on Chad Gable connecting with the Pay Dirt once the former American Alpha had recovered from being the man pinned. In a backstage interview, Shelton told Renee Young that he is not going to be held back as a tag team competitor because he is the Golden Standard and deserves to be on his own. As far as he is concerned, the tag team between him and Chad Gable is over.

Then, in a backstage segment, Rusev Day recruited a new member: Lana! The Ravishing Russian told Rusev and Aiden English she has plans to bring both the men to stardom more than they already are. Rusev is welcoming to the idea of his wife joining him again as English assures that anything Rusev thinks is best, he agrees with.

Re: Smackdown versus Raw 2018: Prepare For War

    RAW Feedback

    - Was completely fine with Rousey being used on RAW after Mania... Albeit in the early goings, there will hardly EVER be as many eyeballs on RAW than the night after WrestleMania, between all the lapsed fans and everything. So, you made a good decision here. Rousey submitting Mandy makes sense. I like that there might be some division between Mandy and Sonya... could open up opportunities for the division going forward.
    - Going into this RAW, I think the only thing I'm unhappy about is that Roman isn't the champ. I get that the GRR is coming up, and that's fine and all that. However, I'm hoping you're not as gunshy as WWE Creative is with him. He needs to win at the GRR or there's no point, IMO. That will be critical, for me, going forward here with RAW's booking. Joe getting in the mix is also fine, but I don't see him winning the Gauntlet Match, obviously.
    - Having Sasha win the Women's Battle Royal was a fine touch, although I think to further things, having Bayley go over would've made sense (Please note that is an EXTREMELY biased opinion). Sasha walking out on Bayley was okay as well, but having communication issues happen between Absolution and Boss 'n Hug was a little too repetitive. Maybe you could've done it a little bit differently, although I guess TECHNICALLY, you did by having Mandy make no effort, while Sasha straight up walked out. PLEASE do this feud justice.
    - Fine with Alexa and Nia having a match next week w/o The Mick's presence... Will be curious to see what you do with Nia as champ. And with Alexa as well. The whole division fascinates me! As you can tell.
    - Seth vs. Miz sounded fire and the conclusion made sense. Like the idea of a cage match at the GRR between these two. Think that will be a hoot and should probably be the end of this feud.
    - Not surprising that you went with the same route that they did with the Tag Titles... Lashley being intertwined with Strowman should prove to be good if you do right by Lashley.
    - Very much OK with The Deleter of Worlds moving on. Guessing that you're going to send The Bar to SmackDown Live just like real life, which is cool. You have your work cut out for you and then some with this division but best of luck.
    - Sucks for Paige obviously but you clearly were following the same protocol here. I don't know if you'll do the same thing they did IRL with her becoming SDL's GM, but I'd be OK with that.
    - VERY awesome stuff with all the newbies to the scene... Andrade on RAW is fan-freaking-tastic. Push him to the fucking moon, plz. Ember is fine, glad to see Neville back, same with Jeff, AOP coming to the fold works and Drew Mac being around is cool, too.

    SDLive Feedback

    - God freakin' damn, great start for SANitY here by attacking Styles. Doing Styles/EY on WWE TV is so hilarious to think about but I liked it. Glad you also brought up Nikki Cross, too. Styles winning was OK, and I don't think it kills them. Especially since it went 16 minutes. Nak low-blowing Styles at the bell was good stuff.
    - Alright! Cool. You DID pick Paige for the GM. That works. Having Sami and Kevin fight for contracts works, and Bryan-Sami sounded great. Glad that Bryan won to keep things going.
    - Okay, awesome stuff continues here with Kassius Ohno winning the US Title on his first night. Sucks for Jinder, but that is what it is, LOL. Excited to see what you do with him here.
    - Like that you had pretty much the same thing with the IIconics here as they did IRL, and ALSO them taking out Charlotte AND Carmella. Makes them look even more like badasses. Dig it.
    - Thank the Lord you had Becky win. Please push her.
    - Having The Usos win makes sense so they get their rematch, and Bludgeon Brothers coming out and taking them out also works. Like that we're getting a singles feud between Gable and Benjamin. That'll do. That'll do.
    - Hoping you don't keep Rusev heel here with Lana being intertwined with him... Him and Aiden are $$$.

Alright so, like I said, there were some strong things here but just a couple of things I think are important going forward. Especially WRT the Universal Championship. Best of luck here. I'll be following!

Re: Smackdown versus Raw 2018: Prepare For War

    NXT
    April 11th, 2018
Taped from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana

-- Bolstering the Tag Team Division --

In a usual post-Takeover show, there is not much to write home about however there was a general theme to the show being tag teams. A debuting team, a brand new enforcer for an overlooked woman, and continuing momentum for one of NXT mainstay tag teams.

Opening up the show was TM-61 in action against the up and coming Ealy Brothers in a rematch from the post-Takeover Philadelphia show of NXT, TM-61 were successful in a quick match versus the brothers while also showing off everything the duo is capable of from their high-flying abilities and tag team maneuvers to earn another decisive victory over the brothers.

Later, Aliyah made her presence known with a promo before her match up with Mae Young Classic standout: Rhea Ripley. Aliyah tells the fired up NXT crowd that she has been looked over for years now while those who are less than her are making it big at Wrestlemania. The woman name-dropping known friend Liv Morgan specifically as well recent call up Ember Moon. “I know what I need to do to finally be given recognition… I need to change it up a little. I need someone by my side to make sure I stay on track to the top where I belong and no other woman deserves to be. With that said, I want to introduce all of you to Kavita Devi!” With a rather surprising announcement, the first female wrestler of Indian descent Kavita Devi comes out to the ring beside Aliyah.

Aliyah found a more aggressive style while also using dirty tactics to continue momentum on her side. Rhea however got a comeback going for herself as the New Orleans crowd was strongly behind her and the style of wrestling shown off by the Aussie. However, Kavita Devi made her presence known when Rhea was sent to the outside of the ring as the first ever woman superstar from India through Ripley into the barricade and steel steps before sending her back into the ring. That allowed Aliyah to connect with the finishing Northern Lights Suplex to get a victory over Ripley.

Finally, a new tag team known as the War Raiders made their presence known in the main event of tonight’s show. The duo made up of Hanson and Rowe made quick work of a local tag team in the main event by using their size and power over the two scrawny individuals. After the match, Hanson and Rowe each took a microphone proclaiming that they are putting the NXT tag team division on notice as there is no duo who can match up to them and no duo who will stop them in winning the NXT Tag Team Championship.

    -- The Forgotten --

A video package aired during this episode of NXT introducing former Marine: Chad Lail. We get pictures of his time in Iraq before we finally hear his voice as he says “They forgot about me.” Then, accompanied by an electric guitar and drums, are videos of Lail in action at the WWE Performance Center and NXT Live Events with dominating match ups. The vignette soon ends as the graphic appears that Chad Lail will make his debut in two weeks.

-- What To Expect Next Week --

As this week’s show did not include much, plenty was announced for next week’s NXT as The Undisputed Era and Roderick Strong will be opening up the show discussing the surprising turn of Strong on partner Pete Dunne. Aleister Black and Shayna Bazler will be making their first appearances as NXT Champion and NXT Women’s Champion respectively. Finally, Ricochet will be making his NXT television debut.

    NXT Takeover: Chicago
    June 16th, 2018
From the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois

    No matches have been announced.

Re: Smackdown versus Raw 2018: Prepare For War

    SD Live Review

    - Nice debut for Eric Young and a nice main event match for him. I’m ok with him losing to the WWE champ…anyone else, I would have second guessed the lose. I liked the continuation of the Shinsuke/Styles feud. I don’t think Sanity will be involved in this feud, so I am just wondering what you have planned for them.

    - I like Paige being the GM with Dainel Bryan back as a competitor. I wonder what will come with this Zayn/Owens thing. I wanna see where you go with this whole thing…I just don’t think that the way WWE completed was a good way at all…I personally booked in my head to make them as a faction.

    - I am all for OHNO as champion…I feel like Kassius should have been on the main roster a long time ago…so a big push out of the gate is a welcome sign for me.

    - Good debut for the IIconics…putting them in the thick of things in the Women’s division…I liked that Mella hasn’t cashed in her briefcase yet. Good win for Becky…I hope she gets a good push.

    - Uso’s winning number 1 contenders is cool…I like that Bludgeon Bros took them out afterwards…I would love the Bludgeon Bros to keep the belts for a bit. I love the break up of Gable and Benjamin…I really love Shelton, he is top 3 one of my favorite wrestlers ever, so seeing him as a singles is going to be fun. I kind of think that American Alpha makes a comeback. Also, please turn Rusev Day face.

    NXT Review

    - So I don’t really follow the NXT product except for the Takeover events, so my review will be short.
    - I like what I see from Aliyah and Kavita Devi. I believe they are going to be a strong duo.
    - War Raiders should be fun….i wonder if Ellering somehow makes his way to try and manage them.
    - Chad Lail should be a good addition to the roster….I think I read somewhere that he has a faction with him, so I wonder if you are going to have them in this BTB.
