The European Union is great. I’m glad because it’s a great use of two solid talents. They have a unique vibe and feel like the UK answer to Lorcan and Burch.

Also I weirdly love the odd pairing of Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan.

I can honestly say that I have never had anything I would call a bad blowjob, that wasn't a great experience but up until I started gushing blood I was having a great time!

Williams and Jordan are a fun team for sure.
I’m just happy they didn’t go with a more WWII name for a German and an Italian

I wonder when the Welsh talent will get the rub and start doing something productive

As for the tag division from Ed's post a few posts ago...I'm with you there, there's 4 solid teams and that's a great start. If you look at the NXT incarnations there's only usually 4/5 teams that do the rounds before they break off.
I have a plan so cunning......

Random but I wonder if WWE have talked to Nick Aldis at all. As average as he is, it would be a good recognizable face to toss in the mix that has a lot of main roster potential. Surprisingly only 32 too.

He's mentioned in interviews in the past that he doesn't have a good relationship with WWE. No ideal over what, but apparently he's not on their radar at all.

It is surprising in a sense that's he's not be linked with going to WWE at any point given who he dates. I doubt he'd take up a role with NXT UK though because he's based in America and presumably looks after the kid when Mickie's on the road. I don't think he takes a lot of UK bookings on the indies.

Re: NXT UK General Discussion Thread

Considering Aldis has been married to Mickie James since before her WWE return and not being signed to anywhere properly for nearly two years, the WWE must really not care about Aldis.

@Dave I was thinking surely there must be some kind of tension for a guy with his look and experience to have never gotten a sniff of WWE.

@Ed That's a very good point I never considered. He is probably pretty happy to be the face of NWA's rebrand and be able to stay stateside with his family.

@Jim I thought the same. It makes a lot of sense that to me that he's be pursued by WWE at some point but nope..

Walter's debut is great. They give him this pasty ghost white half pint guy and in one chop he's blistered. Exactly what it needed to be. Fuck off with the 'Austrian Anomaly' nickname though, not everyone needs a Geography related moniker.

Fun main event with Mustache Mountain and European Union.

Not Sure If Walter is a really big guy or the half ghost guy made him look freakishly big
But he certainly does stand out

He's a big lad no doubt, definitely bigger than 95% of the UK/Euro scene.

It is a treat to see Walter in a WWE ring. A good debut to get him started on his way to winning the NXT UK Championship. He brings something completely unique to the table for the brand and that is something NXT UK can definitely use more of. On that note, I think Ligero also stands a good chance of being a major player if things go his way. He too is a distinct face on that brand and already seems to be getting over well.

He also dropped the name for the reason.

Re: NXT UK General Discussion Thread

Ligero vs Andrews I thought was a pretty solid opener for the Show this week, but I cannot deny I wasn't disappointed. I wanted to see more flying from two guys that can do it like no other, this Match felt like it was first gear and it never reached second gear.

Candyfloss vs Xia Brookeside. She might of improved since her days in Stardom, but I'm still not sold on Brookeside. I think Candyfloss is a better Wrestler and character as a whole. She and I will be getting married in Candyland as I give her a Ring Pop, but all that Sugar wasn't enough to get a win over Brookeside. A okay Match, but nothing you can remember to be honest TILL RHEA RIPLEY THE BABE MERKS BOTH GIRLS! I get it WWE wants to build stars, but come on just make Ripley vs Asuka at WM because right now that lady is going to be regulated to the Preshow if they find nothing for her.

Mike Hitchman vs. Joseph Conners. Wild Boar highly more impressive than Conners who WWE is still trying to make a thing for some reason I don't get it he's not really impressive from the work I've seen from the guy.

Ashton Smith vs. Joe Coffey. You would of thought Joe was Brock Lesnar, Smith it felt like had one moment he could sneak a win, but Joe put the brakes on that he was pretty dominating throughout wasn't exciting at all.

Walter vs. Mark Coffey. I don’t think the result of this one was ever in doubt, despite Mark Coffey kind of shinning here with his impressive counter attacks to the bigger man. Not really much of a match, but better than Walter’s complete squash last week.

This week’s episode was really good, imo. Fun match from Bate and Gallagher, and WALTER/Ohno and Grizzled Young Vets vs Oney and Burch were both solid.

Totally agree Jimmy. WALTER had his biggest test with Ohno this week and showed Ohno ain't ready for this smoke, The Grizzled...GRIZZLED Young Vet had a heck of a battle with Oney and Burch as well. Oney vs Humberto next week got me more excite after what I saw from him in that Tag Team Match.
