    OMB Presents BTB NXT

So my first venture did not go to well but that was because it was suppose to be a joint project however due to reasons I ended up having to write for two shows and PPV Storylines and it was just a bit overkill. However now I bring you NXT a smaller and like ones in past wrestling sites a better option.

So here we go hope you guys enjoy.

Love reviews tell me what you guys think

    NXT Ep 1

    Live From Fall Sail University

    March 7th 2018

We are welcome to NXT by Mauro Ranello & Nigel McGuiness . He says that tonight here on NXT William Regal will open up the show with some huge announcements regarding both NXT & The Dusty Rhodes Classic. Regal makes his way to the ring as we now go from the announce table to ringside with Regal who is on the mic.

Regal says that NXT has become bigger then anything in wrestling and is not just a place where the likes of Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura or any other wrestler came from he says NXT is where the best wrestlers in the world compete and that we shall continue that legacy because he is proud to announce that at NXT New Orleans NXT will be introducing the NXT Gen Championship as 6 of the best in NXT will compete to see who will rise the title and write his name in the record books. A NXT chant breaks out as Regal lets a smile out. He says onto more news .

He says that Bobby Fish has been injured with a torn ACL & MCL so he has talked to HHH & O' Reilly and Cole who has agreed to put the titles on the lie against the winners of The Dusty Rhodes Classic winners at NXT NO. Regal says that 8 teams will battle to see who faces them at the event. He says that there is one more thing. Regal says that due to the interference of Ciampa during the NXT Championship Match at NXT New Orleans Almas will be putting his title on the line against Johnny Gargano inside a Steel Cage he says that this is Gargano last chance at the title and per an agreement between both parties if Gargano loses he will not be given an championship match as long as Almas is champion. Regal walks out of the ring as we go to break.

The screen then fades and we go to Sanity. Dain is like a man possessed as he is taking out everyone that steps in his way. NXT Ep 3

    Live From Fall Sail University

    March 21st 2018

We open up to Mauro Ranello & Nigel McGuiness trying to welcome us to NXT except we are interrupted by the fact that we are backstage where Gargano has been jumped by Almas who is laying over Johnny throwing fist down. He tells him he thinks its funny to disrespect the champ and tosses him into a wall he grabs a steel chair and smacks Johnny across the back with it before Vega comes in and tells Johnny that his little stunt last week is the closest Johnny will ever be to the NXT Championship as they walk away while medical staff checks on Johnny. Back to ring side where we are told by McGuiness that due to the win over Almas, Pete Dunne has been awarded with a spot in NXT Gen Championship match in 2 weeks.

Match 1: Ember Moon & Kairi Sane vs. The Iconic Duo

End Of Match: It has seen it go back and forth we a lot of tags between the iconic duo. Kay right now is holding down Moon with a chin hold as Sane tries to get the crowd to get behind Moon. Moon is about up to her feet when Kay drags her by her hair back down. Moon takes a few stomps by Kay who tags in Royce who begins to lift her up for a suplex. Moon blocks it fighting with her feet running in the air but Royce hits her with a swift kick to the stomach.
Royce mocks her in the ring and tries to go for a neckbreaker of sorts but Moon shakes her head before turning it into one of her own.

Kay sees that Moon is crawling trying to tag her partner but she wants nothing to do with it so she runs on the outside and pulls Sane off who is within inches of tagging into the match. Moon is yelling at the ref who is screaming at Kay but from behind Moon comes Royce with a roll up only getting a 2 but Moon is quick to her feet and starts to get a head of steam throwing kicks and punches singing Royce back. Moon hits a back drop and is going to set up a move but Kay again interferes and the two start rolling around .

The get towards Moon side of ring and Sane tags in and begins to hit dropkicks suplex and a snapmare.
Sane hits her walk the plank and climbs to the top. Kay & Moon on the outside are fighting as Moon is on apron a kick send Kay back and at same time Moon & Sane hit their finshers on both members with Sane getting the 3 count.

    Re: OMB NXT BTB

    NXT Ep 4

    Live From Fall Sail University

    March 28th 2018

We open NXT with Dusty Rhodes Classic Final Four in a video package with all four teams left being shown. We see Heavy Machinery, Street Profits, Authors Of Pain, Dream and Goldust. Regal's voice says tonight we crown Dusty Rhodes Classic Winner as the teams will battle twice tonight to see who wins and goes on to face Undisputed Era at NXT Takeover. We then go live to see Mauro Ranello & Nigel McGuiness at the Full Sail University arena where they talk about how this is the go home show before NXT Takeover. They say that like Mr. Regal said that tonight is the crowning of Dusty Rhodes Classic winners. That is not all though. We shall also have the last entry named in the NXT Gen Championship Match as well as NXT Women's Championship and finally we will hear from Johnny Gargano as he addresses NXT Champion Andreda Cien Almas.

    Match 1:

Authors Of Pain vs. Heavy Machinery

End Of Match: The match has been all about power as all four men feats of strength have been showcased. We are right now though seeing a big stalemate as Knight & Rezar are trying to out power one another. Paul Ellering yells from the outside for them to finish this as Rezar gains the upper hand he begins to pick up the pace a little before hitting a fallaway slam on Knight. His body hits the canvas and he rolls towards the ropes.

Rezar catches this and places his feet on the back of Knight's head as it starts to choke him on the bottom rope the ref calls out to the count of four until he let's go. Rezar tags in his partner as he dragged Knight over. Knight tries to fight it off but he is still to weak and Rezar & Akam hit a sidewalk slam big boot combo that sees Akam go for the cover only getting a two count.

Akam bounces off the ropes and goes for a leg drop but Knight moves from it and Knight has his chance to get Otis in who is cheering begging for his partner to make the tag. Knight finally gets to it as Otis comes in running over anyone that dares get in his way we see him hit an atomic drop and he sees Akam rolled to middle of the ring the crowd cheers as here comes Otis with the Caterpillar and he leaps dropping the elbow he tags in Knight again and they go for there finisher but Rezar cuts both men off hitting them with closeline. Akam is dragged into the rope by Rezar who tags in he directs traffic as they set up The Last Chapter it connects and they get the cover.

He says that Black is no different he says he looks at him and he sees that devil on his back but has he ever been put through hell? He tells Black that at NXT Takeover he is going to take him to hell and that there is nothing he can do about it.

The video package ends and standing with Percy Watson backstage is Black he is asked by Percy whether or not he is scared of Lars Sullivan and did he make a mistake by angering Lars Sullivan? Black looks at Watson his eyes tell the story no words are needed Black is not scared he is focused he is ready. His face has no emotion as he just walks off leaving Percy Watson alone.

    Commercial Break

    Match 2:

Street Profits vs. Dream & Goldust

End Of Match: Dream is in the ring right now with Ford as the two men are trading verbal jots among each other right now to the delight of NXT Universe. Dream keeps telling Ford to say his name as Ford laughs it off. Ford though does not like it when Dream grabs his cup & shades and this leads to Ford and Dream attacking each other.

The match pace has been fast as both teams look strong going into this semifinals match we see that the NXT Universe likes both teams and are enjoying the match as it goes on. Dream tosses Ford into corner and hits a corner splash following it up with a neckbreaker like move onto his knee. He goes for cover but only gets a two. Dream attempts to pick up Ford but he cuts him off with a punch to the gut.

Ford now takes control with a couple of arm drags follow up by back drop and modify backbreaker which sets him up to tag in Dawkins the big man who applies a knee to the head and sets up him for a stalling suplex that he goes for a cover with. Dream though after a few moments rolls out of the ring and tries to get a breath but as Dawkins comes to the outside Dream sends him back first into apron. This is his chance and Dream starts to gain control hitting a number of moves before hitting a backbend ddt.

Dream is now going for the top rope but Ford catches up to him but he doesn't throw him off he just says his name which distracts Dream who gets caught by Dawkins who does a superplex to the middle of the ring as both teams go for their partner the men crawl to each side when Goldust & Ford both get tagged in they come at each other and for a few Ford has hand then Goldust then Ford. Goldust though gains it back and begins to clear house. He hits a powerslam a uppercut even his shattered dreams all this sets up the directors cut and Ford is covered for pin.

    Spoiler:

    Winners:

    Dream & Goldust by pinfall

After the match Goldust & Dream look on nodding at each other as Authors Of Pain music hits they turn around towards the stage looking for a fight. Instead out walks Paul Ellering who says that Goldust father was a great man and for that he has respect for him but if Goldust thinks he is going to beat Authors Of Pain he says that he might as well dig his grave next to his father because Akam & Rezar will bury them alive. He states that as for Mr. Dream he says that you want people to say your name well they will as just another page in the chapters for the Authors Of Pain. Goldust grabs a mic tells Paul that he ever brings his father name up again he will break every bone in his body as for his monsters his agents of chaos as they say "carpe diem seize the day boys" Dead Poets Society 1989 and we are seizing our day Paul.

I maybe a old dog but I got new tricks and I know the end of my career is around the corner but I still have a lot to teach and to pass on my legacy and my fathers onto someone who is the future of this company like Dream is here I will teach. Dream grabs the mic and says bring on anyone because they will all remember our names Velveteen Dream & Goldust.

    Commercial Break

We are back on NXT where William Regal stands in the ring he says he like to talk to Eric Young so would he please come out here. Sanity's music hits and out walks the leader of Sanity with his group not far behind. Eric Young steps in the ropes and he says what does Regal want? Regal tells him that he went back and saw the footage last week and saw that Eric's foot was on the ropes and that the match should not of ended he says while he can't change the ruling he like to apologize for the mishap. Eric looks on and says what is his game here? He says it seems to him that there is this personal vendetta against Sanity and ask if Regal is apart of it?

Regal shakes his head and says that Eric is just upset and that there is no vendetta or conspiracy against him it was just a wrong decision and while he doesn't like the accusations Young and his group are making against him he is going to give Young another shot tonight as he will face Wesley Blake & Riddick Moss in a triple threat match where the winner will be awarded the last spot in the NXT Gen Championship Match. Young says alright but if he is screwed over again there will be hell to pay. Sanity leave as we move to our next match of the night.

    Match 3:

    Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Bazsler

End Of Match: The bout has gone back and forth while Sane tries to speed up the pace Bazsler is slowing it down with a ground based offense which has one in favor of her right now. Sane is caught in a modify heel hook as she tries to fight her way out. Sane shifts her body weight over uses her foot to kick Bazsler in the face to release the hold as she stands to her feet though she stumbles as her ankle buckles Bazsler comes from behind with a nasty kick to her bad ankle she screams in pain as the May Young Classic winner falls to the ground.

Bazsler is not finish though as she stomps on the back of Sane arm and it bends in a awkward position. She starts slapping the back of her head and tosses her to the outside. She moves the steel steps and sets it up where Sane foot is trapped in it she climbs onto the apron as the ref count is at 5. She leaps off apron trying to break the ankle of Sane who moves out of the way.

Sane has a look in her eye as she screams and grabs Bazsler and tosses her into barricade. Sane walks the plank and runs full steam across hitting her with the move and both girls crash and burn. The ref call is at 8 as Sane tries to pick her up and toss her in but they fail to meet the count of 10.

    Winner:
    Spoiler:

After the match is over Sane & Bazsler or broken up by security. They both think that they deserve a shot at the NXT Women's Championship but with both losing nor winning the match where does that leave them says Ranello. He says that he does not know but with it so close to NXT Takeover this issue needs resolved.

    Commercial Break

We are back on the air as we see Ember Moon just walk out of William Regal's office. She is asked by Percy Watson about the championship and what they were talking about she says that she just talked to him and that it has been decided that at NXT Takeover New Orleans She will defend her title against both Sane & Bazsler. She says that she asked for this match because she wants to prove that she is the champion for a reason and while she is champion she is going to take on challenge after challenge.

    Match 4:

Eric Young vs. Riddick Moss vs. Wesley Blake

End Of Match: Moss & Blake have looked impressive in this match teaming up to take out Young for most of the match right now though we see them throwing hammerfist down on the back of Young who is trying to get up. Moss hits a snapmare and holds it as Blake runs in with a big boot.

Moss goes for cover but Blake breaks it off it seems as though we have this alliance broken as both men trade shots in the ring. However while this is going on Young is back up and hits both men from behind and we see that Young now has control tossing Blake to the outside to focus on Moss. Moss eats a body slam from Young who begins biting the forehead of Moss before the ref breaks it up. Wolfe comes in from ringside and hits a ddt on Blake he moves back as he tosses Blake in the ref sees Young go for cover but only gets a two count.

Moss is up still holding his head he grabs Young for a german but Young rolls through it. Young is pushed off Moss and here comes Blake with a spear he side steps it and Moss is speared to the outside. Blake though is caught from behind by Young with a wheelbarrow neckbreaker and goes for cover and gets the three.

Back on NXT where we see Johnny Gargano in the ring. He is smiling and says it has been a long year from him and while it is not good to dwell in the past he says he can't wait to look into his future. He says that finally he gets a fair chance at the NXT Championship and there is no one that can stand in his way so when he takes on Almas he can finally tell Cien he's a zero. What kind of man is Almas? He is the kind to hide behind dirty tatics and tricks when in reality he is a talented wrestler but that is all for nothing because the man makes the title not the title that makes the man. He is ready to start a new journey in his life with his beautiful wife . He says that he is going to make her proud and win the title for her, for his fans, and for himself.

Zelina Vega comes out with Almas and says Johnny that is so inspiring it almost brought a tear to her eye but this is Andreda NXT and this underdog feel good story does not have a happy ending. She says that Gargano is going to find out that disrespecting the champion is disrespecting her and that does not happen. She asks how Johnny head is? He lost his championship his best friend he lost time after time she says how does it feel being a loser? One last time and the little buzzing fly you are will be swatted and we can move on to bigger better things for the NXT Champion. They leave as Johnny stands thinking looking on .

    Commercial Break

Dream and Goldust are walking towards the ring backstage when Dream stops Goldust he says look he was hesitant about having a partner and about being put in this classic. He says that Goldust dad always told him he was going to go far kid and says if it is alright with him he wants to dedicate this match in Dusty Rhodes honor. Goldust smiles and says his dad would be proud but he tells him that we are going to hold that trophy high and we are going to go on to NXT Takeover New Orleans and that they are going to walk out your new NXT Tag Team Champions and they all will say our name.

Dream says speaking of that he tells him that he has a surprise for him lets get out there and he will show him. Goldust tries to fight out of it but is not able to and is quickly fading behind the raw brutal strength of Rezar you can hear Paul on the outside screaming I told you so as Dream comes into break it up. The ref though tells him to go back as Rezar lets it go and starts to drag Goldust over to Akam he tags him in and they hit a double chokeslam on Goldust and go for cover.

They only get a 2 as Goldust gets his shoulder up before Akam tosses him into corner and throws left and rights to the beaten Goldust. He lifts him up and sends him crashing to the ground with a powerful powerbomb he goes for cover only gets a two. Goldust lifts up again.

Akam & Rezar go to tag in placing Goldust on the top rop stunned but Goldust isn't he kicks away Akam and sends Rezar off the apron. Goldust the witty vet pulls a tornado ddt out of nowhere that stuns Akam. He drags himself against the canvas to Dream tags in and the crowd and hot as here comes Dream.

Dream sends Akam off the ropes stunning him with a superkick to the knee then one to the head. Dream is fired up he sees Rezar on outside start to climb on apron but a baseball slide sends him down. Dream goes to lift Akam as the crowd looks on in shock no he can't he does rolling death valley driver by Dream.

You can hear Ranello screaming Mama-Mia.

Dream is gassed it looks like it took more out of him then he thought as he pulls himself up the ropes the crowd cheering as he goes for the purple rainmaker. When from the crowd its Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reilly that attack both teams the ref has no choice he calls for bell.

    Re: OMB NXT BTB

I decided to give your booker a shot and I have a few observations.
-I like that you're using yellow on the headers for NXT, but it's a bit hard to read on then main light style. Any chance you could use a darker color like a Gold perhaps?
-I see you're bringing in an NXT Gen Title... is that supposed to be a pun on the NEX*GEN Title from GFW and will it serve a similar purpose? And did you not like the North American name?
-I see you're starting before New Orleans... any chance you'll be changing who's called up? It might be hard to invest in IIConics and Almas if they're still leaving. Just an observation.
-I LOVE the pairing of Dream and Goldust. Not only is it smart because of the Dream and Goldy comparisons, but Dream is in of itself a Dusty homage basically. Great dynamic here, I hope to see more. Shattered Dreams for Dusty Classic!

-I like that you bold the matches, makes it easier to differentiate them from the actions.

    NXT News

It would seem as if after NXT New Orleans there will be a shake up happening not only may some superstars from NXT move onto the main roster it seems as though we may also get some RAW or SD Live Superstars being called down while some may look at it as a demotion others can see that NXT is the best of the three shows right now where the best talents in the world come.

It is also being said that NXT is in the process of signing a few big free agents as of this report while the names in question maybe around wraps it is said that the deal is basically complete.

It looks as though NXT in the future maybe looking to do a NXT Takeover in Europe. Spain & German are up as two contenders though nothing is complete as of this writing.

It is said that Marcel Barthel is backstage at this week's NXT taping and will probably be used in the show. Axel Diater Jr. was his name in the indies and it said that HHH see's him as a future top heel .

Also the poster for NXT Takeover New Orleans has been released the graphic made by wrestlingclique.com member Comeback Kid was said to be found by HHH who has invited him backstage for event.

    Re: OMB NXT BTB

I cannot read your title b/c the yellow is so bright. I would try to maybe go a darker yellow or see If you can do a black border around the yellow.

Author of Pains was a good choice as the winners. IDK if it was me, but I had a hard time focusing on what I was reading. Like it wasn’t getting pictured in my head. I would suggest just trying to re-read your match and just making sure that things can be visualized. Again, it may have been me.

Reading your Lars promo, I think I figured out what the problem I was having with the first match was. I think you need to use commas more. Take this as an example, if you don’t mind.

We are back on NXT where Aleister Black & Lars Sullivan video package is played. It shows the stare off, but we now are seeing "The Mad Titan" on the screen. Lars says Black put himself in a place where he shouldn't have been, guys like Lio Rush are just mortals cockroaches that he can squish under his feet. He says that Black is no different; he says he looks at him and he sees that devil on his back but has he ever been put through hell? He tells Black that at NXT Takeover he is going to take him to hell and that there is nothing he can do about it.

Just some punctuation makes things so much more clear.

I enjoy the pairing of Dream and Goldust. It just makes so much sense and I really hope that they win the Dusty Classic.

Small promo with Eric Young and I don’t see him having much trouble getting into the title match. I really enjoyed the brutality of the womens match and the countout decision was the right call there. Good Booking. And good of you having the Face champion welcome the challenge of the triple threat and “ask” for the match.

Young with the win, in which I had no doubt, but that is a good thing b/c sometimes the easy decision is the best decision.

Good back and forth between Johnny and Vega. I hate to harp on it, but I see myself having to re-read your promos multiple times to get the promo. I hate to say it, but that could turn off a lot of people from reading.

Good main event and I see you went similar to what NXT did in real life with the Triple Threat match. I didn’t hear it being for the tag titles, so I hope Shattered Dream wins and are in line for the tag belts.

Overall, good show with good stories. I would say clean up the presentation and grammar. You have a viewer in me.

You have a viewer in me.
thanks for the review I will def try to do a different color for it, I was also try to use better grammer. The Dusty Rhodes Finals is for the titles as well.

    NXT Takeover New Orleans

    EP 5

    April 7th 2018

We open up NXT Takeover looking over the crowd with Mauro Ranello & Nigel McGuiness who thanks The House on Cliff for "House Of The Rising Sun" as the song for Takeover. The crowd is chanting NXT everyone is excited about the show tonight but Ranello & McGuiness are both pumped but they are not alone as they are welcomed by the third member of the announce team and will be part of the NXT Announce Team going forward please welcome Steve Corino. Nigel & Steve hug as Corino says its awesome to be here in NXT he shakes Ranello hand as we get ready for our first action of the night as we crown the 1st ever NXT Gen Championship. The rules are simple first man to gain a pinfall or submission will win. There is 5 refs with four around ringside. We get a look at the championship and we see the crowd build up in anticipation for the match. All the men make their way down with Strong gaining the biggest pop and Tino getting the biggest boo's.

    Match 1:
    NXT Gen Championship Match
Eric Young vs. Lio Rush vs. Kassius Ohno vs. Roderick Strong vs. Pete Dunne vs. Tino Sabbatelli

End Of Match: The match has been all sorts of crazy as all the men are just going after one another alliances have been form and broken in a short notice for all except Tino who just seems to be the target of all rage. Ohno & Rush are teaming up right now taking on Tino. Young & Strong are fighting on the outside as Dunne lays out cold after taking a elbow from Ohno earlier in the match.

Strong tosses Young into the barricade and follows it up with a running big boot to the face which Young is dazed by. Young though gets right up and screams my turn and laughs in sick pleasure as he tosses Strong into barricade now which is where Strong lays sitting as Young begins stomping away.

Back in the ring Ohno & Rush are doing a few double team moves to Tino who is just trying to escape at this point. Tino is hit by a running senton by Ohno which is followed up by a running corkscrew shooting star press by Rush as the crowd cheer for the amazing move. Rush goes for cover but is quickly stopped by Ohno who laughs and says nice try kid as Rush smiles before they have a stare down.

They are about to start to fight when Tino runs in but they quickly disposed of him with a superkick which sends him to the outside. Rush & Ohno start to throw punches and here we go with the two men trading advantages as they battle for control.

Tino's luck does not do any better on the outside as Dunne is up and is beating him up on the outside. Dunne sends him into steps as they crash and Tino yells in pain. Dunne look under the ring and we get our first weapon into play as he pulls a kendo stick out and starts swinging at Tino who dodges it as he rolls on floor. Tino gets up as Dunne chases him around the ring, until Tino slides into ring then out and catches Dunne with a punch. He yells that he is smarter then Dunne and grabs the Kendo Stick he starts to light up Dunne whose arms are bruised by the shots he has taken.

Back in the ring where Ohno & Rush lay knocked out comes Tino who tries to get a pinfall on both but only gets two counts both times a angered Tino yells at the ref. Strong is back in the ring with Young who are trading punches in the corner. Strong sets up Young for a superplex when Cross come's out of nowhere and jumps onto the back of Strong who still has Young . Strong though tries to get Cross off his back as she screaming clawing at his eyes. Strong though fights through it and lifts up Young

Superplex with Cross on his back as all three hit the mat!

The crowd chants that was awesome as Tino looks over seeing what just happened goes to take adventage when from a springboard comes Rush with a dropkick. Rush is pumped up as he tries to get crowd behind him he hits Tino with a number of kicks and strikes which brings Tino to his knees he calls for a superkick but Tino ducks it and a low blow.

All is legal in the match cries Corino as Ranello says what a cheap move by Tino.

Tino picks him up and hits leg hook reverse sto and goes for pin but it is broken up by Dunne who has ill intent in his eyes as he starts to beat the living hell out of Tino who can do nothing as Dunne is keeping to his name "Bruiserweight". Dunne with a double foot stomp to Tino who holds his ribs in pain.

Young & Strong are back ringside fighting one another with steel chairs in hand as the swing with each other steel hits steel with each stumbling back as they each toss chair aside and begin to tie up and fight around ringside. Young picks up Strong and throws him shoulder first like a lawn dart into ringpost.

The fans are booing and cheering as from behind comes Ohno who grabs Young and spins him around to hit a rolling elbow. Ohno then goes for cover but only gets a two as Cross breaks it up.

Dunne has gone under the ring for a while now but finally comes out as fans clamor with excitement as the UK Champion pulls a fan favorite out from the ring its a table.

Ranello is saying that Corino's old stomping grounds would be excited as the former ECW World Champion agrees.

Dunne sets up the the table and we see him pull Tino to the second rope as he is setting up for a Bitter End from the second rope. Tino is elbow the head of Dunne when Young comes from the apron and sends them to the outside of the ring as they bounce off the apron and take a nasty fall. Young smiles in the chaos he has created as the refs are checking in on them. Young though doesn't see Rush come from behind and Frankenstein Driver on the apron.

    OH MY GOD! Mama-Mia!

Ranello is screaming what a move at the top of his lungs as McGuniess says that maybe the greatest move he has ever seen.

Rush leaps off the apron and frog splash it looks like this one maybe over.

    1-2

Wolfe is out from under the ring and breaks it up the crowd is chanting bull**** as Wolfe looks on crazed look in his eye he and Cross are attempting to pick up the leader of Sanity as Ohno comes flying in from the screen

Front flips over the top rope with a senton that sends all of them to the ground.

Meanwhile, inside the ring is Roderick Strong who looks around and sees the carnage of the match. Tino rolls him up from behind only gets a two. Young & Ohno are back in the ring to as they start to fight one another. Strong hits a End Of Heartache on Tino he follows it up by hitting a Sick Kick Dropkick on Young sending him to outside. Wolfe eats a End Of Heartache as well as we see Ohno come in an hits a rolling elbow that drops Strong.

Rush leaps off top rope but eats an elbow. Ohno is going for pin when Dunne breaks it up. Dunne & Ohno are now staring at each other and go forehead to chest with Dunne the much smaller man but he does not back down both men begin throwing just scary shows that echo throughout the arena. Dunne gets the advantage and he hits the Bitter End and goes for pin.

He smiles and says, that he just wanted to come back and tell Zelina Vega he's back and that regardless of the outcome of tonight's match he is coming to destroy her client. He says, he will see her soon. He walks off as she shuts the door. Almas asks, her who was at the door she says no one that he needs to focus on the NXT Championship Match.

They hit a double armbreaker on her as she rolls to the outside. Sane & Moon begin to tie up and are about to start fighting when Baszler gets back in the ring but they go right after her as she rolls back out telling them two to fight.

Sane tries a quick roll up from behind on Moon who breaks out and she turns to Sane who smiles. Moon goes alright ok, as she starts to nod and is about to go after her when Baszler attacks her and throws her to outside. Sane & Baszler start to fight with one another going back and forth until they tie up in ropes ref goes to break it up.

Baszler though stomps on Sane's foot and then goes for a heel hook as she twists the heel of Sane who screams in pain she starts to crawl her way to the ropes getting there and Baszler who refuses to let the hold go she gets to four when Moon comes in with a leg drop to the throat of Baszler.

Moon picks up Baszler who holds her throat and begins to throw a series of punches and kicks following it up with a knee that hits Baszler in the jaw. She falls to the ground. Moon grabs the hand and stands on it with her foot and she stomps on the back of her arm.

Ranello yells turn around is fair play. McGuiness says that it does take Baszler out of the match so its now one on one. Corino ask how is it fair to Baszler who all she wants is to win the title.

Baszler rolls to the outside where the medical staff run out to check on her.

Meanwhile, in the ring Sane is back up and hits a couple arm drags and we see that she is not one hundred percent. After a few seconds she stumbles down and her ankle gives out. Moon though comes up with a headscissors takedown followed by a handspring stinger splash in the corner.

Outside the ring, Baszler is told by staff her shoulder is separated she needs to be taken to back. She yells no ! She pushes staff out of way and runs shoulder first into ring post.

What is she doing cries McGuiness. She is popping her shoulder back in look at the heart of Shayna Baszler Corino states.

Sullivan keeps leaning back but Black stays calm not even showing any pain. Sullivan lets go of the submission and lifts Black up for a move but it is reversed and he kicks the legs of Sullivan turning them from pink to red to black and blue as he falls to a knee. He follows it up with a running knee strike to the chin of Sullivan who is retreating to the outside.

Ranello says, it is only a matter of minutes away as Johnny Gargano gets his last shot at the NXT Championship. McGuiness says, Johnny has scratched and clawed throughout his tenure here in NXT and tonight is his last chance to get yo the mountain top.

Corino mentions that Almas is the champion for a reason and that he is as gifted as anyone in NXT. The cage lowers and the ref, opens the door as we hear Rebel Heart play and the crowd is on their feet as here comes Johnny Wrestling. Gargano makes his way to the ring with his wife by his side as she stops by the steel cage looking up with a worried look. She though wipes off the worry and stares at her man she kisses him as she makes her way back.

Gargano is looking all around him as the fans chant Johnny Wrestling. Johnny nods, his face his eyes focused Johnny is ready for this. The crowd goes silent as Almas music hits.

Almas lifts Johnny up and is trying to send him back first into it but, Johnny reverses it sending Almas in as he screams in pain.

Johnny this is your chance, yells Ranello as the number one contender begins to take control. Gargano begins working on the back of Almas as the match has slowed down a little bit. Johnny applies a boston crab but, Almas quickly reverses it this time locking one of his own but, his back is not a hundred percent and he does not get all of it.

Johnny takes advantage of this as right as Almas releases it Johnny hits a superkick to a kneeling Almas the cover only gets a two. Almas gets up and punches Johnny in the throat. He follows it up by picking up pace as the two men whip each other on across ring.

Almas grabs him by the hair and sends him into steel cage. He does it again, this time Johnny falls to the ground between cage and ropes. Almas looks smug, as he motions the ref, to open the door. The ref looks on confused as there is no escape but, he does as Almas catches Gargano between door and ring before climbing up the turnbuckle. Johnny is in a bad position as Almas starts to climb cage little more.

Almas looks down at his opponent, he then leaps off hitting a double foot stomp to the chest of Gargano who screams in agony. Almas goes for cover 1..2..3 no!

    Re: OMB NXT BTB

Holy shit man, that opening match was hands down one of the best matches I have ever read. Every single guy was built up as strong and a credible contender. Glad to see Roderick walk away with the win here too. Unfortunately since coming to NXT I didn't really see him as world champion material, but he definitely has that workhorse like vibe, and boy did it deliver in this match. High spot after high spot really made this match exciting. Nice twist at teh end too with Marcel at ringside staring down Strong. It sets up something really nicely between these two for the belt.

You really do know how to bring the emotions out of a match and bring about the nuances. I literally cringed when I pictured Shayna popping her shoulder back into place and refusing to leave the match. This is heart that you rarely see in the product today. Glad to see Ember Moon go over in this match though and especially glad it wasn't Shayna who actually took the fall, so it gets under her skin even more.

Again just like in real life, Black continues to impress me. You need to keep this rocket strapped to Black and just let it play out. The reversal into the Black Mass was just beautifully done.

Great back and forth exchange in the tag team finals. I was nervous you weren't going to give Undisputed the win here and go with Shattered Dreams, but you definitely didn't disappoint. I think Undisputed Era is perfect for the belts right now and a few spots, specifically Goldust coming in for the hot tag and screaming at them to not disrespect his family. Again it added emotion that made the match just that much sweeter.

Match of the night is clearly the main event. Gargano got that babyface win and title victory that he has deserved for so long. I love the detail in your matches and him climbing up on top of the cage with his belt to the cheering crowd and their chanting of "you deserve it" and then the "i love you". BUTTT boy did you get Ciampa over. Hahah I fucking love it dude. This feud just won't die and I'm glad that Ciampa is still able to get his his heat back with this. Him breaking the crutch over the back of LaRae was awesome and again really pulls on the heart strings and emotion of the match. This spot would kill him more than even if Ciampa had broken it on Gargano. Just quality booking from start to finish.

Very solid show and I am looking forward to seeing where you go with Strong as the champion and then obviously how you let Gargano get his revenge on Ciampa. Ciampa may be bringing a side out of Gargano that we haven't seen yet. I will definitely stay tuned though. Great job man.

NOW PLAYING IN THE "BE THE BOOKER" SECTION!

    Re: OMB NXT BTB

I’ve read of all your weeklies to get an idea of where things are at before Takeover so I’m up to date. Before I begin on the first match for Takeover, I just wanted to mention how much I love the idea of Steve Corino on commentary. I’m a big fan of the guy so something like this happening would be awesome for me. Plus, I think he’s quite good as a commentator and will suit the NXT style quite well.

A really fun opening match which this multi man match was always going to be. I think my favourite spot throughout was the Superplex with Cross included on Strong’s back, awesome stuff. The match flowed as a standard multi man match to be honest, with everybody almost taking turns being laid out/busy outside of the ring. The appearance from the other Sanity members was a nice inclusion and made me think Young would get the win. Really enjoyed this match though, thought it was a fun way to start the show. Ohno/Sanity feud looks likely after this, as does Strong/Marciel from that little stare down after the match. Promising start to the show.

You need to watch your spelling. I’ve fell victim to this in the past to but proofreading is a necessity. You can’t be spelling wrestler’s names wrong such as Andrade spelt as Andreda. Outside of that, enjoyed the reappearance of Drew McIntyre signalling his intent to go after Almas. Very intriguing to have Vega hide it from Almas and I wonder if this will come back to cost them tonight. Either way, a fun little segment here.

Also weird that you’re giving Takeover commercial breaks. Because it’s a PPV, this doesn’t normally happen right?

Triple Threat women’s match again followed the standard WWE multi person formula of having one person out of the ring at all times. Now I think about it in terms of the booking of this show, three matches where it is more than just one on one or two on two makes it feel like a little much. Need more personal feuds instead of just everybody being thrown together. Anyway, even though she didn’t get the win, Baszler is the star of the show for me. Her knocking her shoulder back into pace using the ring post is AMAZING. Brilliant stuff. A solid win for Moon to and surely Moon/Baszler is next on the radar.

    Kenny King signing… Cool.

Black/Sullivan would have been pretty fun but this was another one where Black was always getting the win here. Also, it’s Clothesline not Closeline. A good win for Black though, taking on somebody with a lot of strength like Lars. Looking forward to seeing what is next for both these guys.

Nice confident promo from Johnny Wrestling, hyping the main event.

Three way tag match seemed to be okay here as well. I thought for a moment you were actually going to pull the trigger on a Shattered Dreams win but it was not to be. Again, standard multi man match with the finish containing a trade of the team’s signature moves. Solid stuff.

I had some issues with the early writing of the main event. Considering you’re only recapping the end of the main event, it seems very strange that after a Moonsault, Almas would only get a one count… On top of that, it’s a steel cage match so I just think it’s pointless and came across as very awkward that the guys were trying to ram each other into the exposed turnbuckle… I mean, come on, just throw them into the god damned cage. I know that happened a little later on, but the turnbuckle spot just didn’t fit the match type as far as I’m concerned. Outside of that, the match was pretty good and obviously a HUGE win for Johnny Wrestling.

Aftermath with Ciampa breaking his crutch over the back of LeRae is amazing… This feud clearly isn’t going anywhere. Fun ending to the show, Gargano is going to be pissed.

Overall, I think my favourite match was the opener. I did feel there were too many multi man matches and I found some issues with the writing of the main event, but as a first time reader, I still enjoyed most of this… And there is plenty of potential with the talent filled roster that you have. I’ll try to check back in, looking forward to seeing what you can do from here.

    Re: OMB NXT BTB

Thanks for the review guys, yes i got huge plans for Ciampa. I really wanted to put over Shattered Dreams but in the end them losing was more heat on Era.

Tommaso & Gargano feud was always my biggest goal here and turning Johnny's best day to his worse is just the tip of it for him

    Spoiler:

    CWA World Heavyweight Champion
    Brayden Bridges
