    Impact Wrestling: Redemption Discussion Thread

So I saw some of the spoilers on what will be the future Matches for the PPV and I gotta be honest, I am not impressed at all especially when it deals with the Tag Titles and feud going on with Ove, Moose and Eddie Edwards. Maybe I'll be shocked and the show kills it, but it seems I might be iffy with PPV more than usual.

    ISHIMORI~

Glad to see he's still involved with the company. I'm a little worried this will just be Cage beating up a bunch of X-Division guys, but it could be a fun opener to the show.

I'm kinda looking forward to this show apart from Tommy Dreamer being involved.

So they still haven't pulled the trigger on Xavier being X-Division Champion? That's sad to see.

I can't imagine Steiner doing a great deal in the tag match and can you imagine it with him as a Champion again haha?

I really do need to get back into Impact Wrestling again now I have a bit more time on my hands in the evenings so may hold off and start with this event.
I have a plan so cunning......

Didn't 5/Spike bump it from it's original time slot?

That's rough. I'd watch it on demand but the 5 Roku app is so embarrassingly awful I don't bother.

Please do guys watch Impact, always like hearing others perspective on the shows. This 6 Way is outta left field I thought they were try to have some kind of Tag Team Match with Lashley and Cage having partners, but I'll take this Match. They might as well make it a number one contenders Match for the X-Division title to raise the stake of the Match. ^Yeah Baldrick he should of been Champion a long time ago, maybe he's the one to take the title away from him if Petey doesn't do it at Redemption.

Not a fan of Patron, but with him out of the title match it leaves a big hole in the card
Not to offend but replacing Patron with 2 Lucha underground guys ? is going to be a tough road to how when it comes t0 people actually paying money to see The World title match.

So true Impact is banking on well hopefully they watch Lucha Underground and or they'll fall in love with them right off the bat. I hope they do some kind of package or even a Tag Match or some kind to show all their skills. They are showing I know the Triple Threat from the LUvsImpact at Wrestlecon Show for those who didn't watch it live.

Re: Impact Wrestling: Redemption Discussion Thread

The card's not too bad, my main issue is having the same main event twice in a row within a couple of weeks. I would have had Penta/Fénix or Fénix/Aries in the main event and put the 3rd in the opener. (Or just move a couple of those guys to face Aries in some whacky multi-man match if you were to put the brothers against each other. But really Fénix and Aries could be considered an intriguing and fresh match.

Su isn't the greatest wrestler and having her around with Rosemary also there seems a bit silly. I could easily see Su winning and Rosemary coming out to challenge her. Very happy Ishimori is back, I would love to see his previous strong push continue but like Ed I definitely think Cage is who they see the most in. Steiner and Drake are great on the mic but watching them wrestle seems like a big waste of LAX who have been two of the better in-ring performers for the company this year. Side-note on LAX: When is Diamante gonna get to wrestle again and return? Chica's awesome and could be a great addition to the Knockouts if she got a chance.

Expect Sydal to retain over Petey. Have no idea why Dreamer is involved with what was a strongly built feud with Eddie/Sami but hopefully they can all have an interesting brawl with a logical loss post.

Yeah Diamante should be coming back soon, she is no longer wearing a Sling on her Arm so I imagine we could be seeing her drop the Knockouts Champion very soon and make us love her again. If I had my way Rosemary vs Diamante would be a feud I like to see to take it back to the days with Decay and LAX to where both were destroying each other.

With how well the Edwards Callihan feud has been built (IMO) I'm disappointing they aren't having a singles match. Also a little disappointed that Taya and Rosemary didn't make it on the card. Other then that, looks like a pretty solid lineup. I'll be watching.

I'm surprised Johnny Impact Vs Kong isn't on the show either.

Drago Vs Aerostar has been added to the show, always good to see these dudes.

Also very true. Shame that Impact went from main eventing Bound For Glory to not even appearing this time around.

Drago Aerostar, while its been seen, should be fun as always.

Aerostar vs Drago had one hell of a Best of I think I remember Seven in Lucha Underground and every Match felt different, give me one of those 7 Matches and I'll be a happy bobohead.

So... Impact is basically just Lucha Underground now, without the originality?

you could also say without the absurdity.

The Lucha Underground stars are over to a certain extend, most of them are good wrestlers (in the case of Fenix a fantastic wrestler) and most importantly they do not work for any other promotion that has TV so I don't see how this is anything but positive news for TNA that has long been needing a fresh feel to their roster.

This should looks promising. Might try and watch it if I remember. Glad that Taji Ishimori is on the card, looking forward to seeing him again (miss him already). That Matt Sydal vs Petey Williams match looks awesome, not sure what shape both are in but it could be a great match. That oVe vs Eddie and Friends match looks okay. The main event looks like it could be something good. On paper this show sounds promising (not $40 promising or what this show is in US money but promising). More good looking match-ups the bad.
