Decent looking size crowd. What was the demo like, because that's what puts me off going back to WWE events (well, price too).

Good card too, I've seen some ropey SD house show line ups recently so glad this one was better.

That's kinda cool they let Black and Wolfe go on the European tour given that's where they made their name.

I legitimately haven't heard of Gradwell since Dunne killed him last January. Thought maybe he'd fallen out of favour with WWE UK.

Grew a mohawk and a beard. Probably still sucks.

Was a mix of about 50/50 with kids and families and then the more hardcore fans. Was much louder and raucous than when I went to a Birmingham show a few years back.

Interestingly in my two WWE shows I've been to Luke Harper has been in the opener on both shows.

Do it, do it, do it, do it...

I can't afford to go when you factor in travel and hotel but if I can encourage others to be there (at what is shaping up to be a very tasty card) I will be as bad/good an influence as needs be.

I went the PROGRESS show in Manchester last week and I won't divulge any results or anything (not sure if it's on Demand yet) but I had a fun time and there were some really enjoyable matches. As usual with the Manchester cards, they front loaded hard on the quality scale; the matches after the interval were more story driven and that effected the match quality in my eyes but others might disagree.

I'm interested in seeing how the atmosphere comes across on Demand though, it felt like everyone was into everything, there was lots of chanting and reactions but it seemed like the noise got lost in the rafters for the most part because unless it was happening in your seating section you really couldn't make out what other people were chanting.

Show was up on demand last night. I've watched the majority of it and will give my thoughts later.

Anyone been out to anything recently?

Booked tickets for ATTACK's next show, they've announced a "Losers Must Disband" match between Nothing To Prove and The Anti-Fun Police. They've built this continuously over the last two shows I've been to so pretty excites about that.

Went to a local show last night, was a blast. Next month on the 15th I’ll be going to a SoCal Pro show and the main attraction on the card is Pentagon vs Ultimo Dragon w/ Sonny Onoo. That match alone sold me on the show but there’s some other solid looking matches on the card.

I went to the Impact/NGW today. Fun show. Main event was Matt Cross vs Sami Callihan and I met MOOSE.

Wait a minute you went to the Show Nicky awesome. I think they streamed it on their Twitch Channel I might need to watch it and see if I can find the all powerful Nicky.

SD Live Re: WC at Live Events

Went to a Smackdown House show the other night. Pulled second row ringside tickets so that was pretty good. Overall was a good show, had the majority of the main roster there to rep the blue brand while RAW was live on TV a few hours away in Toronto. All the titles were on the line, it was a house show so no one was losing them but was still a nice touch. Byron Saxton did all the ring announcing. Only downside (and this is the first time this has happened, I've been to house shows and TV) was they didn't have any current merch. They had the voodoo New Day shirt from Mania ( 2 years ago I think) No Becky / Charlotte / Miz / Joe / Club / Bar shirts. And the program..they need to update that shit, think its from just after the 2016 draft, still has Enzo and Cass as a team under the RAW section of it.

    PICS IN THE SPOILER TAG!!!

    Spoiler:

New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) defeated The Bar to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championship.

No Woods, I think he was at a Game convention. Fun match. All four guys were laughing for a lot of it, having fun with it not being televised. Sheamus wore his camo kilt looking thing he wears for their entrance for the match and Big E lifted it up for his new day clap / spanking bit then tossed Sheamus to the ground, Sheamus fell with his legs in the air and Big E sexually pinned him ( think Edge pinning Beulah at ONS) and Sheamus took a good minute or two to stop laughing. After the match Big E laid on the top turnbuckle and had a makeout session with the championship, Kofi (who was celebrating in the other corner) looked over with the most confused / disgusted look on his face.

    Shelton Benjamin defeated Tye Dillinger

I legitimately didn't know Benjamin was still around, figured he was out with an injury. Good to see WWE is using him for something. Though the highlight of this for me came during the entrances. Dillinger tossed his shirt into the crowd, a little girl next to me caught it, was all excited then screamed "EWWWW its sweaty!" and threw the shirt at her dad.

Rusev and Lana defeated Andrade and Zelina

Essentially move for move the exact match from Summerslam kickoff. Was cool to see it live though.

Bobby Roode defeated Mojo Rawley in a special RAW attraction match

It was Roode's hometown so they threw him on the card. Massive pop. The two put on a pretty enjoyable match, Mojo argued with some fans that had a Bobby sign. Roode did a thrust after the glorious motion right before the DDT. Its fun to see them having fun when they aren't on TV. I was at a live show here back in...2010? And DiBiase and Maryse had a pre match dance off with Evan Bourne, DiBiase was wearing the Million Dollar Championship at the time. The championship fell off his waist and he immediately dropped to the ground and started humping it stripper style. Bourne grabbed Maryse, twirled her around, dipped her and she fell to the ground. He teased dropping down to do the same but the ref stopped him. Would never see that on TV.

Charlotte defeated Carmella to retain the Smackdown Women's Championship..maybe..might have been a no contest

Went about the same as the match last night on Smackdown, except when Charlotte locked in the submission Becky attacked her. Asuka made the save (good to see her after shes been shafted on TV for a few weeks now). Carmella and Becky tried to leave and Charlotte challenged them to a tag match.

Charlotte and Asuka defeated Carmella and Becky

All four got a chance to shine, ended with Charlotte tapping out Carmella

    INTERMISSION
Where a large portion of the crowd got the text alert that tornadoes were touching down in the area.

    Karl Anderson defeated Luke Harper

With a fucking rollup....Harper dominated the entire match, got pretty into taunting the drunks in the front row who threatened to take him to Home Depot (there was a shooting there in the town last week..so..I mean I'm sure Harper didn't get it but it was still terrible thing to say to anybody).

Nakamura defeated Jeff Hardy and Miz in a triple threat to retain the United States Championship

Crowd went wild for Hardy, obviously. The ref rang the bell before Miz took off his jacket, headband and glasses so he grabbed a mic and made everyone wait while he took them off one by one. Tried to do his "When my hand goes up your mouth goes shut " twice but kept stopping cause the crowd chanted with him. Probably match of the night. All three guys were into it. At one point Miz stopped Nakamura from attacking him, walked over and grabbed his headband and challenged Nakamura to a Karate contest. Nakamura was laughing his ass off at Miz's moves. Hardy hit the swanton on Miz, Nakamura hit the...god i don't feel like looking up the spelling Kinshasa on Hardy then pinned Miz.

Aj Styles defeated Samoa Joe to retain the WWE Championship.

Another good match from these two. They battled in and out of the ring, and Joe tossed AJ into the crowd at one point. Joe even teased the musclebuster.

Best crowd reaction : Either Roode or Hardy
Most Boos : Definitely Andrade and Zelina

I'd be a bit disappointed if I went to a SD house show with no Daniel Bryan, but the show sounds pretty rad. Good pics.

Haha it wasn't too bad without Bryan. Miz did cut a video promo early on in the night saying that he's out doing shows while Bryan is probably at home.

Was curious if Orton was gonna make an appearance and jump Hardy.

But yeah, overall a solid show.
