Yeah the Rams continue to confuse me, they let go of good Players and then trade for a Talib. Maybe they want some veteran leadership and toughness back there in the Secondary.

Broncs were basically forced to move Talib and the Rams bought super low on the deal. They now legit have one of the best secondary’s in the league and it didn’t really cost them anything. Great move.

Wish the Steelers would've got in on that Talib steal. I'd have been willing to offer a 3rd or 4th for the guy. Good for the Rams for jumping all over that.

The Browns dropped a bombshell to acquire Jarvis Landry:

The Cleveland Browns are trading two draft picks to the Miami Dolphins for wide receiver Jarvis Landry, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Browns are also working on a new contract for Landry, and a deal is expected to get done, per source.

The Dolphins placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Landry on Feb. 20, the first day teams could issue the designation to pending free agents. The salary for wide receivers getting the franchise tag this offseason is expected to be around $16.2 million, which will be quite the raise for Landry, who made $894,000 last season.

    ESPN
One of the most unexpected moves in free agency. The Browns acquiring Landry's the first positive move made in years, but then again I wonder what the draft picks they traded for to get him, because it didn't say at ESPN.

I'm telling ya, if they throw the right dart at a QB and snag Barkley then the Browns might be wild card contenders just like that. I know it's hard to even imagine.

The key though is getting the right QB. Which is something they struggle with. They should just take the QB they like least and go with him, because the one they like best is usually a bust.

I see him signing with New England. They always like to go after guys like that (Revis and Talib for example), and they already wanted Talib back and didn't get him.

Funny I told another Seahawks fan that they were gonna completely revamp their defense and they told me I was crazy.

Smart moves for the Browns tbh. Trading picks for established players is way less of a crapshoot than drafting unknowns. I think Tyrod is worth that deal.

The question now is what's Buffalo's plan one year after making the playoffs? Peterman doesn't seem reliable at all. Getting in on the Cousins sweepstakes or just rolling the dice in the draft? Curious move for a postseason team to make.

Apparently the Packers are also sending Damarious Randall to the Browns. I'm scared to look at my texts since I'm half expecting to be traded to Cleveland next.

EDIT Kizer in return to GB

Why Kizer though? I'm surprised Green Bay even agreed to get him.

Well hell he looked better than Hundley did when we played Cleveland.

I think backup QB was a definite area of concern for us. Kizer may have the goods for that.

Yes and the Browns are doing it without even giving up their top picks. They still have 1st overall, 4th overall, and what two or three second round picks?

Another Eagles Trade this time with Torrey Smith he played fairly well on a Year Deal with the Birds, and we are getting CB Darly Worley. Hey Zero what is the Scouting Report on this guy, is he going to be a steal and a quality player for our team or what? Also with this Trade someone might be moving I mean we have Mills, Darby, Robinson, Jones and Douglas. I mean you can never have enough Defensive Backs I say, but why do I have a feeling the Eagles will try to deal Darby and Jones start the Season with Mills. They were pretty high on him going into the draft and I wouldn't be shocked to see that happen, but I'm going to need a LB too why get in the Draft unless theirs a blowaway deal that can be done.

Re: 2018 NFL Offseason Discussion Thread

To Panther as a Bills Fan what we are doing is loading up to move into top 5 probably trade with Denver or NYG. Bills like Rosen but it maybe a smokescreen for Josh Allen. I love Rosen and hope they do draft them but im ok with Allen tbh I like alot of these QB's except Jackson. Mayfield maybe the best of bunch tho. If I was cle I take Barkley #1 and take Chubb at #4 Chubb & Garrett as your DLS are scary af. Bills should not trade the kings ransom and wait because this is an excellent draft class. Mason Rudolph from OK State looks like good value at 21 or 22 and add his WR James Washington and the bills got a good offense. I do wish Tyrod best tho as a fan of his I will be grateful he ended drought. Nathan Peterman despite the stats is not a bad QB 80% of those ints were tips and I would not be shocked if hes the starter next year kid has a good head on shoulders. Other then that Browns are making some sexy moves I think its a good time to be a Cle fan I think. Tyrod, Jarvis, Gordon, Barkley, David, Coleman, johnson jr is a solid offense.

Re: 2018 NFL Offseason Discussion Thread

The Browns have been making some very smart moves today. They acquired Landry by trading their 2018 and 2019 draft picks, and acquiring Taylor from the Bills.

I'm speculating whether the Browns traded one of their two first-round picks to get Landry, cause it must be some major draft picks traded the Browns gave up to get him.

But anyway, I'm pretty surprised the Browns are finally using their brains for once by their decisions. I do hope they draft Barkley and build an offense around Taylor, or draft Minkah Fitzpatrick to pair up with the other new addition to the Browns roster, Damarious Randall.

The Rams acquiring Talib for only a fifth-round pick to the Broncos was brilliant. The Rams' defense gonna be a juggernaut.

The Packers grabbing Kizer wasn't too bad of a pick. This gives Kizer a chance to work with Rodgers, hoping he'll improve under his wing.

Am I hallucinating or do the Browns suddenly look... decent? Like, I think I might actually want to watch them play next season.
