Gip you don't have to listen to shit. Famous 5 bro.

I echo Ed's sentiment that it was frustrating watching the town pull the wrong direction the last two days. Ed and Sayer MVPs. Really liked Ed's game and Sayer obviously done really well. Had Iceman, Cox and Shake clued in from the start but then Shakes investo came back clean. Sayer I didn't suspect until the very last day I was alive and even then I was calling him a very outside shot. Great game from Sayer even tho I can't believe town swallowed the infected player line. Enjoyed being cop, I usually draw a crap role in these games.

Also The Gipper was the doc and hadn't done anything outwardly scummy so I was surprised to see a NK used on him. Twas unlucky.

    Anyways, onto the maffies.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - a MAFIA game

RED, I only killed you because you were acting all weird during the early stages of the game and I figured you were a good shot for mafia. In retrospect I probably should have killed Shake as I had my suspicions even back then but oh well. I knew Sayer was mafia after I died because I thought he was April (based on getting info since she was a reporter) but I also should have hammered his bullshit list harder considering I wasn't having any of it when he was trying to save Cox.

Good game all the same, just wish people would be more active and not just give up when a few of the heavy hitters go out. Also, take chances when you feel right about them. There's no reason Shake should have been alive for that long in the game if he was town and it was obvious after I was dead that either he or Ed was don with roleblock. Once Ed was gone, he should have been killed immediately.

It did make sense for Shake to be alive though as he wasnt able to participate early on.

It never makes sense for Shake to be alive.

    Next game, #ShakeNightOne

Eh, I get it and I was using that to keep Shake and I apart in the beginning so yeah, I have no words.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - a MAFIA game

I feel like if it was anyone else and not me then they would have had a solid defence I don't think anything I was defending with was too out of the ordinary or illogical. Being alive is always going to be a red flag for me, it seems

There was a point where me and Sayer had pretty much admitted defeat and told the other to cast lynch vote as a hail mary. I couldn't believe it when Mitch switched to Sky, I was frantically trying to get him to vote as it meant we'd have the game in the bag no matter what. Wang actually casting lynch was amazing and pretty much sums up the game for town.

For real though, my inactivity was due to some family stuff. I was just trying to skirt around the issue in game for that reason.

I honestly don't think I noticed Sayer was at lynch point, Ed. That was totally accidental. I think.

Sayer and I must be such an unlikely winning combination. Boy did well. Props to him.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - a MAFIA game

I wasn't sure what to do at the end. I knew Shake was mafia, and voted for him. I didn't want to push it too hard because Grim and either Sayer or Wang (I wasn't 100% who was town yet) would just vote for me. Then when Grim voted for me, I knew it was pretty much over.

Any tips on how I could have played the end game better?

Ya, Mitch, why did you switch your vote to me? Did you actually think I was mafia at the time or did you just see Grim and Shake vote for me and decide to switch?

When it's those final days, don't be swayed by the mob mentality. Question it. This is when it's crucial for mafia to work the weak townies, as most of the power players have been picked off by this point. You figure at this stage, if the don hasn't been lynched, he's a "confirmed townie " cleared by the dead cop that can't check him again. Question everything, don't trust anybody unless it's someone you've been paired with in a sibling/lover role.

Town was too trusting of Sayer and Shake and the ones that questioned the legitimacy of Sayers perks or Shakes stealth were the ones who were killed first, and instead of picking up on this, the townies said "Well Ed is dead, ain't that neat, at least we can trust Sayer", which based on comments, had the spectating players screaming.

To quote Liam Neeson in Batman Begins "mind your surroundings"

Yeah, I didnt WANT to kill Ed, but I had no choice. I knew how it would make me and Shake look by doing it but there was no move left to make. Mitch was lost without Ed, Sky was new, Grim was playing too timid and Wang likes to lay in the shadows. Thats the problem. Everyones too willing to let someone else take charge. Shake and I decided to lead town and no one stepped up to stop it.

I mean, I voted for Shake...I don't know how I could have convinced Grim and Wang to do so as well? I guess it was just the price of being new?

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - a MAFIA game

You did. I guess that was more so aimed at the other townies. I would have put more preassure on Shake if you truly felt he was the guy. None of the remaining townies really took charge in that regard, everyone was all "man I just don't know" and that indecisiveness is what mafia capitalizes on. More than anything, Mitch should have been that guy and he should have taken Ed's lead but we've all made mistakes in this game at one time or another.

Ya, I didn't want to push cause I'm still new and thought that would turn Grim and Mitch against me...which they did anyways Guess it's something I'll learn as I play more.

You played well, Sky. We were more worried about you than some others.
