    Finisher: Moonsault
    Bio: the smallest entrant in the tournament as she stands at 4 foot 11. Erin Angel despite her size disadvantage in her words is no underdog. This is partly down to her in ring experience as well as her skill set which combines both traditional old school british wrestling as well as high flying.

    Entrant #28 Chardonnay

    Finisher: Tower of London
    Bio: The self proclaimed queen of chavs is without a doubt the brashest entry in this tournament. Despite not being the most experienced woman in the tournament many are touting her as one to watch.

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 015 ~ Exit Music
    23/2/18
    Empress Ballroom, Blackpool

    Dark Match: The Iron Lions (Andy Simmons and James Tighe) defeated Oliver Grey and Charlie Garrett

    As always the show opens up to the tune of Dusted by the Astroid Boys. Starting things out is a recap of the past week's show beginning with the opening promo which would see teacher confront student as Trent Seven challenged Tyler Bate to a match in the main event. From there clips went on to Iestyn Rees' post match attack of Rockstar Spud before moving onto more chaos caused by Clint Margera and Jimmy Havoc as they launched into another attack this time on Adam Maxted. Finally the recap would close on the emotional main event as Tyler Bate defeated his mentor Trent Seven. With that this week's show officially opens up with John Gooden and Doug Williams welcoming us and hyping up the show. Once they are finished the camera cuts to ringside where Katarina Leigh is standing by with the Coffey Brothers, The Grrizled Young Vets, CCK and Rockstar Spud.

    As she stands in the ring with the superstars gathered, The UK Brand's general manager Katarina Leigh is greeted with a loud cheer from the crowd in attendance. As always standing close by Katarina is her bodyguard Luke Menzies. With three rivaling teams gathered around her Katarina is quick to thank them for at least keeping this one proceeding civil because as promised she has come to a resolution for all three teams. It is then that Katarina stated that both CCK and the Grizzled Young Veterans have been very impressive lately with each team being more than credible number one contenders. Which is why at the UK Showcase it will be a tag team triple threat match as the Coffey brothers take on CCK and The Grizzled Young Vets with the titles on the line.

    The crowd is on their feet for the announcement as all three teams seem more than ready to go right now. It is then that Katarina follows up by stating that she will not risk such a high caliber match by these men tearing into one another. Which is why she wants them all to leave the ring now and should anyone of them lay a hand on the other before the match there would be grave consequences. As all three teams reluctantly follow Katarina's orders she is then left in the ring with Rockstar Spud. Sighing to herself Katarina then begins to address Spud as she states that despite her granting his wish of a match with Iestyn Rees at the UK Showcase he still wants more.

    Nodding his head Spud tells her that he knows she didn't really want to make this match as he knows she is worried about his health. Stating that this isn't just a normal match anymore and that to him this is personal. Spud declares that he knows the risk of facing a monster like Rees. Yet it's not that he wants to face the unbeaten Alpha Male. Instead it's that he needs this match more than anything else in his career. As he needs to show the world that not only can he beat Rees but also show that he can survive him. Which is why he has asked for the stipulation he has asked for. Stirred by Spud's speech yet at the same time showing hesitation, Katarina still expresses her regret before shockingly announcing that Spud vs Rees will now be a last man standing match!

    Match One: Ashton Smith vs Tyson T-Bone

    Kicking off the show match wise would be a grudge match as Ashton Smith battled Tyson T-Bone. This was a hard hitting brawl and a rematch as Ashton Smith looked to redeem himself against T-Bone. As the match went on Rampage Brown was shown standing by on the stage while in the ring Smith had no issue going toe to toe with T-Bone. As the match neared it's completion T-Bone had Smith set up for a full nelson slam when Smith spun out and cracked him with a roundhouse kick. This put T-Bone on a knee and allowed Smith to put him down with a superkick for the victory.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Ashton Smith!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Ashton Smith celebrates his win. While Smith gets his arm raised at the top of the ramp Rampage Brown can be seen watching on impressed with his former protege.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Footage filmed from after last week's show is then played. It focuses on a dejected Trent Seven who is changing following his match with Tyler Bate. As Seven pulls his t shirt down he is joined in the locker room by a smug Jordan Devlin. The cocky Devlin is quick to deride Seven for his loss as he brags that he called it. Stating that just as he predicted Seven wasn't good enough. Devlin's taunting does not sit well with Seven. As both he and Devlin stare down, Seven makes it clear that tonight was just a set back and that he knows he is good enough. Wanting to prove Devlin wrong, Seven follows up by challenging him to a match at the UK Showcase. With a cocky smirk Devlin accepts the challenge before leaving the locker room.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The cameras then cut to the parking lot where Rampage Brown is beginning to make his way to his car. As he reaches for the door however he is stopped by Ashton Smith. With Ashton standing before him, Rampage is quick to praise his efforts tonight and tells Ashton that he impressed him out there with how he beat Tyson T-Bone. It is then to Brown's surprise that Ashton asks him to reunite their team. Brown remains unsure despite Ashton protesting that he has put all the distractions aside and that now he wants this. With Brown still hesitant, Ashton Smith challenges him to another match at UK Showcase in order to show him just what the new Ashton Smith can do!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Two: Clint Margera and Jimmy Havoc vs Adam Maxted and Nathan Cruz

    After showing up on the UK Brand only a couple of weeks ago it was now time to get our first look at the duo of Clint Margera and Jimmy Havoc in the ring for the first time. Their opponents were Adam Maxted who personally requested this contest after being attacked by the duo last week and Nathan Cruz. Unfortunately for Maxted this match would see him take another nasty beating at the hands of Margera and Havoc both of whom delighted in torturing him. Maxted to his credit showed some heart as he refused to be put down by the duo and was able to mount a brief comeback yet as he went for a tag he was horrified as Nathan Cruz bailed on him rather than step in the ring with those psychopaths. This very much put an end to Maxted's offense as he was soon put down after with a death valley driver by Margera followed by a double stomp from Havoc.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera!

    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Jimmy Havoc climbs to his feet in the ring. Havoc and Margera stand over the downed Adam Maxted as they begin to plot their next move. Before they can continue to beat down Adam Maxted however both BT Gunn and Wolfgang run out from the back. The crowd is buzzing as both Gunn and Wolfgang hit the ring as a brawl kicks off between them and Havoc/Margera. A few shots between both teams are traded back and forth before Wolfgang and Gunn are able to send Havoc and Margera packing. While the fired up Gunn and Wolfgang stand in the ring, a pissed off Havoc and equally livid Margera back up the ramp.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Having watched what just happened following the previous contest, a visibly frustrated Katarina Leigh is joined by the UK Brand's backstage interviewer Joanna Rose. Not happy with what she has seen or the actions of Havoc/Margera lately. Katarina reveals that all this week she has been bombarded with calls from both Wolfgang and BT Gunn. Stating that both men are out for blood and as we just saw will not be stopped in their pursuit of both Havoc and Margera. Katarina confirms that at the UK Showcase we will get a tag team street fight as BT Gunn and Wolfgang will take on Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Following another defeat Adam Maxted is laid out across a bench in the medic's office when he is joined all of a sudden by Doug Williams. The UK Brand color commentator is surprisingly respectful to Maxted as he states that while he may not have won a match in the promotion and while most people see him as a joke, Maxted keeps on going out there and giving it his all. Stating that is an admirable trait Doug offers to give Maxted some training ahead of his next match. Yet this backfires because instead of showing respect to the veteran, Adam Maxted angrily confronts Doug Williams. Branding him an old man who is looking to cling to another star in an effort to remain relevant. Maxted states that he will get his first win at the UK Showcase because he is challenging Doug Williams to a match! Surprised at the challenge, Doug accepts before he makes it clear that he came here to help Adam Maxted, yet now all he will do is be another loss on Adam's record.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Three: Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster vs Chris Ridgeway and Dave Mastiff

    It was now time for tag team action and as has been the case for many weeks now brief footage of Gideon Grey in the crowd was highlighted. As the bell rang it became clear that any ill will by Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster had now been thoroughly put aside as they made for a fantastic team in this match. Using their speed to pull off some impressive double team moves it would only be a few minutes into the match that Webster and Andrews picked up the victory after Andrews connected with a shooting star press onto Mastiff.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster.

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster get their arms raised in the air. The two men then begin to celebrate their win while at ringside a stoic Gideon Grey watches on.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    With that the cameras cut to footage filmed from earlier on in the day as Katarina Leigh held the contract signing for the UK Championship match inside her office. Standing at one end of the table is the champion Pete Dunne while opposite him is his challenger Tyler Bate. The tension between the two men is palpable as Tyler Bate is quick to sign the contract. But when it turns to Dunne, the stoic champion glares at his opponent before remarking that now is his last chance to do the right thing and back out. Showing no fear, Bate simply shakes his head and counters that he isn't afraid of Pete Dunne, instead he knows that especially since Bate pinning him in that six man tag two weeks ago that Dunne is the one afraid.

    Dunne isn't happy with this accusation and signs the contract while Bate continues and states that since the last time they faced off one on one, Bate has matured and fully entered his prime. Which is why unlike their last match Bate will be leaving with his hand raised. Both Dunne and Bate then begin to stare off with one another but before either man can leap across the table towards one another a wall of security guards enter the room and stand between them. With the security standing between them Pete Dunne raises his title in the air and backs out of the room as he informs Tyler that this is the closest he'll ever get to the title again.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Main Event: Kenny Williams vs Mark Haskins w/Vicky Haskins

    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and we would see a match that was months in the making as Kenny Williams finally got his chance to battle Mark Haskins. This was a match that the crowd also had been waiting for as they clearly were united behind Williams and wanted to see him punish Mark Haskins. This was a thrilling match packed with numerous high spots and back and forth moments with some close near falls. This would be until Kenny Williams ducked under a superkick attempt from Haskins before he planted him with the Satellite DDT. Spiking Mark into the canvas, Kenny then went for a cover when he was hit across the back with a shoe by Vicky Haskins. This led to the referee calling for the bell.

    Shepherd; And the winner of the match as a result of a disqualification Kenny Williams.

    The crowd boos as the announcement is made, meanwhile Vicky Haskins looks to hit Williams again but he grabs her wrist and throws the shoe to the ground. Unfortunately for Kenny with his back turned he is blindsided with a cutter by Mark Haskins. Mark is soon joined by Josh Bodom before the two start to put the boots to Kenny. This is until both Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster run down to the ring. Both Mark Haskins and Josh Bodom back up the ramp with Vicky while in the ring Kenny is helped to his feet by his partners.

    Just then to the shock of everyone in attendance from out back walks Nick Aldis! Joining Josh Bodom and Mark Haskins on the ramp the smug Nick Aldis looks down at the ring before he shakes hands with Mark Haskins. As the crowd begins to boo on commentary it is made clear that Aldis must be Haskins and Bodom's tag team partner for the UK Showcase. The show then comes to a close with Aldis, Haskins and Bodom standing at the top of the ramp staring down at their opponents for the UK Showcase.

    WWE United Kingdom Brand presents
    Episode 016

    UK Showcase
    Empress Ballroom, Blackpool
    2/3/18

    Throne by Bring Me The Horizon plays as the first ever UK Showcase comes to us live from inside the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool England. Opening up the show is a series of highlights from all the shows since the UK Brand's inception as it shows the build up to some of the big matches set to be held tonight. The most heavily featured match is our main event of the evening which will see old rivals Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate compete yet again for the WWE UK Championship. Also featured in the build is the hype for Trent Seven and Jordan Devlin along with the long build up towards Team Haskins vs Team Williams. Once this video comes to an end, the show officially opens up from inside the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool. After panning round the crowd a few times the cameras take us to ringside where John Gooden is seated with Nigel McGuinness. The two men hype up the show we have ahead of them before we get set for the opening match of the evening.

    Match One: The Coffey Brothers vs The Grizzled Young Vets vs CCK ~ UK Tag Team Championships

    Kicking off the show would be our tag team championship match of the evening and it would see three teams do battle for the titles. As per the rules one representative for each team would be in the ring at all times. Starting out the contest would be Joe Coffey, James Drake and Chris Brookes for their respective teams. Despite any ill will shared in the build up it seemed in the early goings of this contest a partnership had been formed between the two challenging teams as only a couple of minutes in they began to beat down the champions. This included James Drake and Zack Gibon laying out Mark Coffey with a double suplex on one side of the ringside area whilst on the other Kid Lykos and Chris Brookes put down Joe Coffey by firstly slamming him into the steps before Lykos run along the apron and jumped down with a coast to coast style dropkick on Joe while he was against the steps.

    Having took the champions out of the equation for the time being, any alliance between the two teams dissolved as they began to battle it out in the ring. Meanwhile on commentary Nigel McGuinness would praise the work of both teams eliminating the power game from the match as they went against each other. Evenly matched the battle between CCK and The Grizzled Young Vets saw both teams pick up close near falls against one another. The crowd meanwhile was practically begging for the Coffey brothers to get back into the contest after the mouthy Zack Gibson nearly picked up the win after a middle rope falcon arrow suplex on Chris Brookes. Their wishes would soon be granted as Mark Coffey stopped Zack applying the Shankly Gates soon after on Kid Lykos.

    Now back in the match the champions began to get some retribution against both teams. This included Joe Coffey throwing both Kid Lykos and James Drake around while Mark brutalized both Brookes and Gibson. The crowd solidly behind them Mark and Joe in a big moment for them crushed James Drake with a clothesline/chop block combination for a near fall. With the match entering it's closing stretch it seemed every team had their moment to win before Joe Coffey was able to back drop Kid Lykos over the top rope and out onto James Drake on the floor. Meanwhile Mark Coffey would level Zack Gibson with a clothesline over the top rope on the opposite side of the ring.

    This would leave Chris Brookes alone in the ring with the Champions. Coming face to face with Joe Coffey, Brookes would look to beg off as he backed up into Mark. Turning round slowly Brookes would be drilled with a nasty forearm smash to the jaw by Mark. This sends him staggering back into a discus lariat from Joe who then covers for the win.

    Shepherd: the winners of the match and still champions Mark and Joe Coffey!

    The crowd cheers loudly as the announcement is made and Joe Coffey climbs to his feet. Mark and Joe are then handed their titles by the referee before the ref raises their arms high in the air.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    With that the cameras cut away from ringside and towards the locker room area. Standing by in the locker room area is the UK Champion
    Pete Dunne, with his title close by Dunne begins to address his match later on tonight with Tyler Bate. Stating that he has beaten Tyler in the past and that tonight will be no different. Pete Dunne promises victory as he makes it clear that he is at the top of the mountain when it comes to the UK Brand and that no one will be unseating him. With that Dunne orders the camera crew out of the locker room as in his words he needs to get ready for tonight and doesn't want any distractions.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The cameras then cut backstage towards the office of our general manager Katarina Leigh. The GM has a proud smile on her face as she is joined by Joanna Rose. With the UK Brand's official backstage interviewer standing by. Katarina Leigh cannot help but share her pride with how far the UK brand has come. However in Katarina's words she cannot stop and feel too proud just yet as there is still so much to accomplish. This is why she has asked Joanna here to speak about the future. Turning to her desk, Katarina proudly points to the newest championship to be featured on the UK Brand, the UK Women's championship. Mentioning how the tournament begins following the UK showcase, Katarina proudly unveils the opening round matches for the tournament. They are as followed....

    Dakota Kai vs Chardonnay -- Jinny vs Jetta -- Tegan Nox vs Jamie Hayter -- Nikki Cross vs Saraya Knight
    Jazzy Gabert vs Erin Angel -- Kasey Owens vs Laura James -- Killer Kelly vs Laura Di Matteo -- Dahlia Black vs Pollyanna
    Shazza McKenzie vs Sierra Loxton -- Rhea Ripley vs Isla Dawn -- Charlie Morgan vs Alex Windsor -- April Davids vs Xia Brookside
    Shanna vs Katey Harvey -- Rhia O'Reilly vs Lana Austin -- Millie McKenzie vs Zoe Lucas -- Toni Storm vs Sammii Jayne

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Two: Ashton Smith vs Rampage Brown

    The second match of the evening would be a battle between two former tag team partners not too mention mentor and student as Ashton Smith took on Rampage Brown. These two having battled twice in past with Brown coming out on top were very familiar with one another. Unlike those matches however which very much were one sided this time round Ashton Smith was a different man. Whereas in the past his head had been clouded with distractions, Ashton now was fully focused on what was going on in the ring. This would lead to a hard hitting back and forth battle between Smith and Brown.

    The crowd was in full support of Ashton Smith in this one as he had everything to prove against the bigger, stronger Rampage Brown. While the opening stages of the bout were back and forth as the match went on it very much appeared that Rampage Brown again was beginning to get the better of Ashton Smith. Punishing him with some hard strikes including a vicious lariat which caused Smith to cut a flip on impact, Brown showed signs of frustration at his inability to keep Smith down. This was shown very much when Smith was able to kick out of a big powerbomb attempt from Brown.

    Looking to finish things in a big way, Rampage Brown dragged Ashton Smith to the corner before hoisting him up on the turnbuckle. Climbing onto the turnbuckle Brown can be heard admonishing Smith for being so stubborn. Once he is atop the turnbuckle, Brown readies Ashton Smith for a top rope powerbomb but as he lifts Smith in the air he is stunned as Ashton counters with a big top rope hurricanrana. Both men crash down onto the canvas as the crowd erupt into cheers. Once Ashton is to his feet he stalks the groggy Brown before he connects with a superkick to the jaw. Brown falls to the canvas and Smith then makes a cover for the win.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Ashton Smith!

    The crowd cheers loudly as the announcement is made. After a few moments of being down on the canvas Ashton Smith slowly begins to pull himself to his feet using the ropes. Ashton then has his arm raised in the air by the referee as Rampage Brown falls under the ropes and to the floor.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Footage filmed from earlier on in the night is then on display as we are shown Tyler Bate's arrival to the building. As Bate walks through the doors he is met by Trent Seven. The two friends shake hands before Trent asks Tyler how he is feeling ahead of tonight. Bate is quick to say that he is readier than he ever has been in regards to tonight. Conversation then turns to Seven's upcoming match with Jordan Devlin as Bate asks for him to shut his mouth once and for all. As the two tag partners then part ways Seven snatches Bate in a hug before he tells him to make him proud and win that title tonight.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Three: Rockstar Spud vs Iestyn Rees ~ Last Man Standing

    Match Three of the evening was next and it would be a Last Man Standing match between David and Goliath as Rockstar Spud took on the unbeaten "Alpha Male" Iestyn Rees. This was definitely a personal match for Rockstar Spud who in the early going took the fight right to Iestyn Rees. Backing Rees up into the corner Spud aggressively bombarded him with strikes until Rees countered and threw him across the ring. With Spud backing up into the corner Rees now would pummel him mercilessly before running off the ropes and laying out Spud with a nasty running shoulder tackle which spun him in the air.

    This would very much be the story of the contest as Rees brutally pummeled Rockstar Spud all across the ring and all around the outside. Yet despite all this nothing it seemed would keep Rockstar Spud down for the count of ten. This very much frustrated Rees who got more sadistic as the match went on. This included a brutal powerbomb onto the barricade as well as a running power slam against the steel steps. But again and again by some miracle Rockstar Spud much to the shock of everyone in his attendance would get to his feet. Out of anger at not putting Spud away Rees would recklessly charge at Spud for a spear on the outside only for Spud to side step and Rees to go head first into the steps.

    This was a turning point in the contest as for the first time Spud was able to battle back in this match and he made the most of his opportunity as he went to work on the legs of Rees. This would see Spud slam Rees knee first into the ring steps before later on working over the same knee with a steel chair in an effort to break him down. After a couple of close calls Rees would get back into the fray as he countered a tornado ddt attempt with a sit out spinebuster. But clearly as he got to his feet gingerly his knee was heavily injured. Dragging Spud to his feet, Rees looked to put him away with another powerbomb but his knee wasn't strong enough to support Spud in the air.

    This allowed Spud to drop down onto his feet before landing a dropkick directly to the knee. With Rees compromised Spud followed up with the Underdog to the roar of the crowd. The referee began his count but much to Spud's shock Rees started getting up at seven. Yet on standing on his feet Rees' knee buckled and he dropped down onto it. As Spud advanced towards him Rees much to the delight of everyone begged off but Spud planted him with a DDT facefirst into a chair on the canvas. With the crowd counting along the referee much to their delight would reach a count of ten on Rees.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Rockstar Spud!

    The crowd are on their feet as the announcement is made while in the ring a beaten Spud falls onto his knees. Spud is helped back up by the referee who then raises his arm high in the air in victory. Meanwhile at ringside medics can be seen heading towards the ring to check on the motionless Iestyn Rees.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Still groggy following his defeat earlier in the night, Rampage Brown is in the middle of being checked on by a medic when Ashton Smith walks into the room. Smith looks to be a little conflicted about the match earlier as he is concerned for the welfare of Brown. After talking with the medic to see if Brown is OK, Ashton asks for him to give them a minute. Left with Brown, Ashton looks to apologize for any damage done but Brown stops him and instead praises him for finally being willing to do what he has to in order to win. With that Brown proudly shakes hands with Ashton Smith before the two agree to put all their differences aside and reform their team.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The cameras then take us to the hallway of the arena where a suited up
    Nick Aldis is standing by along with Joanna Rose. After calling Aldis quite possibly the biggest name signing to the UK Brand yet, Rose is quick to ask just why Nick Aldis chose to make his debut tonight as part of Mark Haskins' team. Calling tonight and his decision to be apart of Team Haskins, not a personal one but more a business one. Aldis makes it clear that he has nothing against Kenny Williams, Mark Andrews or Morgan Webster but that he saw a great opportunity to make his debut at the UK showcase which is only befitting an arrival as big as his. In his closing line Aldis makes it clear that tonight what he does in that ring to his opponents is nothing personal, it's just good business!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Four: Adam Maxted vs Doug Williams

    Having yet to have won a match since the UK Brand's beginning, Adam Maxted was also noted for not winning the respect of the fans who often delighted at his failings. Wrestlers also continued to dismiss Maxted but one person who clearly began to respect him over the weeks was commentator Doug Williams. Yet when Doug offered to help Maxted, the brash reality star threw it back in his face leading to this contest here. With a lot to prove and in desperate need for a victory, Adam Maxted was very aggressive in the early going before the technical abilities of Doug Williams came into play. Using his technique to wear down Maxted, Doug Williams put him in a ton of compromising positions before finally putting Adam away following a Chaos Theory!

    Shepherd: and the winner of the match Doug Williams!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made while Doug Williams climbs to his feet. Doug has a proud smile on his face before he waves to the audience. Slowly Doug unravels his wrist tape before then removing his wrestling shoes. Williams leaves them in the ring while the crowd respectfully applauds. As Doug walks up the ramp and disappears backstage, Adam Maxted in the ring begins to become aware of the fact that he suffered another defeat. Taking a seated position before pounding his hand on the canvas in frustration, Maxted climbs to his feet before kicking over the boots left in ring by Williams.

    Pitching a fit Adam Maxted leaves the ring and grabs a microphone before he slides under the bottom rope. Once he's in the ring Maxted starts to whine and complain about his loss before he protests that this is not how it is supposed to be. Branding himself the best Britain has to offer, Maxted is clearly deluded as he states that he refuses to let this show go on until he gets the respect he deserves. The crowd jeers loudly as Maxted crosses his arms and stands in the center of the ring.

    Instead of getting the respect he deserves however, Maxted is surprised when the theme song of
    Travis Banks begins to play. Emerging from the back to a loud pop from the crowd, the fired up Travis Banks rushes down to the ring. As he enters the ring Banks ducks under a clothesline attempt from Adam Maxted before he spikes him down on the canvas with a quick German Suplex. With Maxted dazed, Banks climbs out onto the apron before he waits for Maxted to get to his feet. Once Maxted is up Banks springs into the ring with the Slice of Heaven knocking Maxted down. As he stands over the downed reality star, Banks is given a loud cheer from the crowd in attendance as he then leaves the ring and walks backstage without saying a word.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A pre taped promo then plays from a dark part of the arena, standing by in front of a camera are both
    Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera. This duo of violent men promise to continue hurting people tonight as Havoc reminds everyone he gave BT Gunn and Wolfgang a chance to walk away. Yet their pride refused them to accept a generous offer and as the old adage says pride comes before a fall. Which is what will happen tonight as Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera will hurt BT Gunn and Wolfgang. Finishing off this promo Clint Margera says that BT Gunn and Wolfgang were lucky they could walk away last time, whereas this time they won't be so lucky. Because when Clint and Havoc are finished, BT Gunn and Wolfgang won't be walking for a long, long time.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Having lost his match to Doug Williams and then been humiliated by Travis Banks, a dejected Adam Maxted hastily packs up his gear before he rushes out of the locker room area. Unfortunately for Adam he comes face to face with the general manager Katarina Leigh. With a series of security guards behind her Katarina is visibly disappointed as she stands across from the reality star. Bringing up how she has given him opportunity after opportunity but has had to watch him constantly flounder these opportunities before having the arrogance to claim he is still so great. Stating she is sick of such a bad attitude with such little results in return. Katarina calls her decision a long time coming as she announces that effective immediately Adam Maxted is fired from the UK Brand!

    The live crowd can be heard cheering this decision while Maxted begins to argue and protest. Unfortunately his complaints fall on deaf ears as the GM orders security to help him leave the building. Maxted tries to escape his fate but soon he is snatched by the guards. Maxted is then escorted kicking and screaming out of the building while the general manager walks off down the hallway.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Five: Trent Seven vs Jordan Devlin

    Our next match of the evening would be a true battle of respect as Trent Seven took on Jordan Devlin in what was quite possibly the most personally charged match up of the evening. The bad blood between these two men palpable it wasn't surprising that they forwent the feeling out process and got right down to business. With the crowd understandably completely behind Trent Seven it only added as fuel to his fire as he entered a career best performance here against Jordan Devlin. That's not to say this match was one sided however as the Irishman while arrogant not too mention entitled and smug as they come is equally talented.

    This made for a contest packed with near falls and back and forth action. Highlights of the match included a slingshot cutter from Jordan Devlin onto Trent Seven out on the apron and a top rope dragon suplex from Trent Seven. As the match went on the crowd in attendance were on their feet while the commentary team branded this one of if not the best match of the UK Brand so far. Looking to end things Jordan Devlin went for a corkscrew roundhouse kick but Seven ducked under before planting him with the Seven Stars Lariat for a near fall. Stunned at the result this would cause Seven to surprisingly head up to the top rope.

    Unfortunately for Trent this decision would come back to haunt him because as he waited for Jordan to get to his feet before leaping off with a cross body attempt. Trent would be met in mid air with a dropkick to the cut by Devlin. This was a turning point in the match as from here Devlin battered the winded Seven and came close to putting him away on a few occasions including a very close call after a tiger bomb. Looking to finally finish the job himself Jordan Devlin climbed to the top rope and went for a moonsault only to have Seven roll out of the way at the last second leading to Devlin landing across the canvas.

    The crowd cheers loudly as slowly Trent Seven begins to get to his feet. Devlin does the same and as both men get up they begin to trade punches back and forth. Seven begins to get the better of these exchanges and he drops Devlin with a European uppercut. Devlin staggers to his feet and Trent lifts him up onto his shoulders in position for a burning hammer but Devlin attacks the eyes of Seven. This allows Devlin to drop behind Seven before he shoves him to the referee in the corner. Seven stops short of hitting the ref who turns away for a brief second out of fear this allows Devlin to low blow Seven before he rolls him up for the match winning pin!

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Jordan Devlin!

    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and Jordan Devlin climbs to his feet. Devlin gets his arm raised in the air by the referee before he slowly leaves the ring. Meanwhile in the corner the camera begins to focus on a dejected Trent Seven.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Cutting away from ringside the cameras then take us the parking lot of the building where Wolfgang and BT Gunn are making their arrival to the building. As they begin to head to the doors they are met by Joanna Rose, looking to get a few words with the duo before their match tonight Joanna asks how they feel in regards to their match. Both men are fired up as they promise that tonight with no cheap shots or sneak attacks Clint Margera and Jimmy Havoc will be in store for a rough night. Calling them both cowards BT Gunn promises that tonight he and Wolfgang will give those cowards the beating that they deserve.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Six: Mark Andrews, Kenny Williams and Morgan Webster vs Mark Haskins, Josh Bodom and Nick Aldis w/Vicky Haskins

    It would then be time for the next match up of the evening and it would be one that the crowd in attendance have been anticipating for a long, long time. As finally Kenny Williams would have a chance for redemption against long time rival Mark Haskins. The crowd were fully on the side of Andrews, Williams and Webster for good reason and it was clear why as the match went on with Team Haskins not afraid of using cheap tactics to get ahead. Meanwhile despite his words earlier about this not being personal for him, Nick Aldis clearly had little respect for the skills of his opponents as in the early goings he would toy with his opponents.

    That would be until he was given a rude awakening at the hands of Mark Andrews who having grown sick of Aldis' arrogance drilled him with a spin kick before a hurricanrana sent him out to the floor. From here Andrews would wow the audience with a big suicide dive on Aldis which very much served as Aldis' wake up call that he wasn't in here with slouches. As the match progressed the fans were very much in for a treat with a back and forth battle in which every man involved had their moments. This included Williams' team performing a variety of impressive high flying moves as they really flew all across the ring and out of it.

    Looking to bring an end to the high flying antics Aldis, Haskins and Bodom had no problem resorting to cheating especially with help from Mark's wife Vicky who would provide countless distractions to the opponents as well as the referee. This would be until the referee would eject her from Ringside allowing the match to be contested fair and square. As the match began to reach it's closing moments it seemed that every man would at least land one big move on the other. This trend was started with Mark Andrews hitting Stundog Millionaire on Nick Aldis before being planted with a superkick from Haskins.

    From here Haskins looked to plant Kenny Williams with a death valley driver on the ring apron but Williams dropped down behind him and hit a scary, reverse hurricanrana on the ring apron taking out both men. Meanwhile back in the ring Morgan Webster dropped down behind Josh Bodom who attempted a brain buster before he threw him into the ring post. As Bodom fell out to the floor Morgan Webster was taken out with a nasty chop block from behind by Aldis. Capitalizing on Webster's weakened knee, Aldis locked on the King's Lynn Cloverleaf.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Nick Aldis, Mark Haskins and Josh Bodom!

    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and Nick Aldis releases the hold. As Aldis gets his arm raised in the air on the outside of the ring Josh Bodom helps Mark Haskins to his feet. Haskins and Bodom then enter the ring and join Aldis in celebration while on the outside of the ring Kenny Williams checks on both Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Obviously dejected following his earlier defeat, Trent Seven is sitting down on a chair in the locker room when he finds himself joined by Pete Dunne. The face off between the two men is tense as Pete Dunne begins to take delight in Trent Seven's earlier defeat at the hands of Jordan Devlin. This nearly starts off a brawl between the two men as Pete Dunne follows up by asking him how it feels to be the lesser member of British Strong Style. Stating that ever since the UK Brand has begun it is crystal clear that while Pete Dunne is much better than Tyler Bate that both men are infinitely better than Trent Seven. Before walking out of the locker room Dunne asks Trent Seven how it feels to be a footnote on both his and Bate's career.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    "NEIN"
    Marcel Barthel is coming!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Seven: Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera vs BT Gunn and Wolfgang ~ Street Fight

    As one might expect in regards to this next contest in the evening, neither team was willing to wait for any introductions or the bell to ring. But what people may not have expected was for the match to not even begin in the ring or at ringside. Because instead the cameras took us back to the hallway of the arena where the battle between two teams had already began. This brawl definitely was not for the feint of heart either as both teams battered each other with some hard strikes and brutal weapon usage from the get go. As the battle waged on both teams would take the fight towards the concession stands where rabid fans were waiting and watching on.

    As the battle continues the teams split off to continue their fight. BT Gunn takes the fight to Jimmy Havoc and runs him into a wall before he then follows up by tossing him against a trash can. Meanwhile Wolfgang and Clint Margera would be trading punches until Margera drilled Wolfgang with a knee to the midsection. The match continued to go throughout the building before finally Wolfgang would spear Clint Margera through the curtain sending both men taking a nasty spill down the entrance ramp. Meanwhile BT Gunn and Jimmy Havoc brawled throughout the crowd with BT Gunn going as far as to use a fan's chair as a weapon to punish Havoc.

    A big uppercut from Gunn would send Havoc toppling over the barricade to ringside while Wolfgang would charge at Margera onto to be back dropped at the bottom of the entrance ramp. With the match finally reaching the ring, the brutality would only continue as tables, chairs, ladders, kendo sticks and a variety of other weapons would be used by both teams who took firm advantage of the street fight rules. This would include Clint Margera hitting BT Gunn with a brutal DDT from the top rope and through a table as well as Jimmy Havoc snapping a Kendo stick in half and trying to drive the point of it into the face of Wolfgang.

    The match would then enter a turning point as Wolfgang was able to headbutt Havoc and throw him off of him before grabbing his brass knuckles and putting them on his hand. With these Wolfgang punished both Havoc and Margera as he allowed BT Gunn time to recover. Once he was too his feet BT Gunn connected with a superkick on Margera which sent him out onto the apron before he and Wolfgang beat down Havoc. With Havoc weakened BT laid him out across a table before having Wolfgang climb up a ladder to potentially end things with the Howling. Yet as Wolfgang began his climb, BT Gunn was pulled out to the floor by Margera who followed up with a leaping reverse STO on the floor.

    Sliding into the ring Margera climbed the opposite side of the ladder and once he and Wolfgang reached the top they began trading punches while the fans watched on. With every punch thrown there was a buzz of anticipation as the crowd willed Wolfgang on. Slowly it seemed Wolfgang was getting the better of the exchanges when he was met with a low blow from behind by Jimmy Havoc. This allows Margera to follow up with a death valley driver from the ladder through the table. The crowd are in shock as Havoc pulls Wolfgang from the debris and makes the cover for the three.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera!

    The crowd boos as the introduction is made but it is also clear that there is concern for the well being of Wolfgang. Meanwhile in the ring Jimmy Havoc helps pull Clint Margera to his feet. Margera grimaces in pain as the referee checks on his condition. As this happens medics and officials hit the ring to check on Wolfgang.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A replay of his actions following his victory earlier on this evening airs, before the cameras cut to the hallway of the arena where
    Doug Williams is standing by with Joanna Rose. Doug is clearly emotional following his earlier match and it is here that Doug reveals the truth. Stating that he is honored to be apart of the UK Brand as part of the commentary team, Doug reveals that he never intended to get in the ring as part of the UK brand. Yet now having stepped out there and competed a few times he realized that if he had simply stayed sat behind that desk, Doug would have always wondered what if. He would have always wondered if he could still compete to such a high standard.

    Now having competed for the WWE Doug says he can hold his head up high and state that yes he can still compete at a high level. Which is why in his words now is the right time to walk away. Stating that he doesn't want to be one of then cliche old timers who doesn't know when to walk away, Doug continues by stating that as he sees it tonight was the best performance Doug had in the ring and that with him not getting any younger tonight is the perfect night to call it a day. With the crowd in the background applauding him in a sign of respect, Doug Williams formally announces his retirement from wrestling before stating that from now on he is firmly committed to the challenges served behind the commentators desk.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Main Event: Pete Dunne vs Tyler Bate ~ UK Championship

    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and it was safe to say going into this match there was a big fight feel. After the introductions where made it was time for the match to begin and rather unsurprisingly there was a feeling out process in the early going. Because with both men as familiar as they are with one another it appeared neither wanted to make a mistake that the other could capitalize on. The match as well would feature numerous callbacks to each other's previous battles because both men had clearly learned from their past wars and made the correct adjustments going towards this match.

    The first man to get an edge in the match would be the challenger Tyler Bate who was able to get some momentum on the go after catching a kick from Dunne and hitting a dragon screw leg whip. In a reverse from the normal Pete Dunne matches while there was limb work and some nasty limb damage. This time it would be Pete Dunne who suffered a definite taste of his own medicine as Tyler Bate from this point had a target in the left knee of Pete Dunne. Because every time it seemed that Pete Dunne would get on a roll with some offense in the early going, Bate would target the knee to put a halt to Dunne.

    This continued a trend in the early goings of the match that despite everything Pete tried Tyler had an answer for it. That would be at least until Pete Dunne caught Bate in mid air off a standing shooting star press attempt with a triangle choke. As while the submission didn't end the match, it did take some of the wind out of Bate's sails and allowed Pete Dunne to begin to get back into the match with his usual brand of hard hitting offense not too mention his at points nasty limb work. After a particularly nasty series of elbow strikes Dunne looked to finish things off with an orange crush powerbomb but in a stunning moment Bate on the way down was able to catch Dunne with a hurricanrana.

    Exploding into cheers on seeing this, the crowd rewarded the match with a this is awesome chant while both men remained down on the canvas. The match would continue to go back and forth with both men giving one another their best shots but the opponent being able to survive by some miracle. With the battle raging on Pete Dunne managed to block a Tyler Driver before countering with a back drop. As Bate staggered to his feet a nasty forearm strike would stun Bate before Pete looked to end things with the Bitter End. However as Dunne lifted Bate up he was surprised when Tyler spun out and looked for a DDT.

    Dunne having been hit with this in the past blocked it and drove Bate into the corner while also unintentionally taking out the referee. Getting his head free Dunne tried for a forearm but Bate ducked under before he hits the ropes. Unfortunately for Bate as he run off he was met with a low blow by Pete Dunne. With Tyler falling onto his knees, Pete Dunne rolled out of the ring and grabbed his title belt before throwing it into the ring. Sliding back into the ropes Pete Dunne prepared to hit Tyler Bate with it when Trent Seven who has charged down to the ring hops onto the apron and tries to pull the belt from him.

    Seven takes the belt but is hit with a cheap shot by Pete Dunne knocking him down off of the apron. Dunne is then spun round by Tyler who cracks him with a straight punch to the jaw. With Dunne dazed Tyler attempts for a back suplex but Dunne drops down behind him and hits an elbow to the back of the head. Bate drops down to a knee and Dunne motions for a Bitter End when he is hit across the back with his own title by Trent Seven. Dunne screams out in pain as he drops onto a knee, Tyler Bate meanwhile at the urging of Trent Seven begins to ready Dunne for a Tyler Driver. With the referee beginning to stir Bate has Dunne set up for his finish as the crowd cheers... UNTIL TRENT SEVEN HITS BATE WITH THE TITLE! The crowd are stunned as Trent Seven discards the title and leaves the ring while Dunne is just able to make a cover for the victory.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion Pete Dunne

    The crowd are in shock as the announcement is made and a bewildered Pete Dunne climbs to his feet. Dunne is handed his title by the referee and he raises it high in the air as he begins to celebrate his win. The commentators are equally in shock at what has transpired as the cameras move away from ring and to the top of the stage where an emotionless Trent Seven is walking up the ramp without even a second glance. The show then comes to a close with a shot of Seven leaving the stage having stabbed his friend, his tag team partner and his student in the back.

    UK Brand News ~ Post Showcase

    ~ The firing of Adam Maxted was not a story line, It is believed that Maxted's story had simply run it's course and he hadn't made the necessary improvements to stay on the roster. WWE.com has already wished Maxted well in his future endeavors.

    ~ A few more departures have been confirmed today from the UK Brand. The departures are all simply a case of budget cuts or just creative not having anything for the talents involved. Those confirmed to be departing include Ryan Smile, Nathan Cruz, Iestyn Rees and Chris Ridgeway. It is believed that all the talents mentioned will be more than welcome back in the future given time.

    ~ It is said that fans will not have to wait much longer for the reveal of Gideon Grey's client. The belief is that management have high expectations with Gideon Grey with some believing that he could be a manager in the light of Bobby Heenan with numerous clients who on affiliation with him are already established as credible talents.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    Excited for the Marcel Barthel debut <3 Hopefully Seven and Bate move away from the title scene and we can see Pete Dunne find a new and interesting rival to deal with. I think part of the awkwardness with this UK brand is that a lot of the stuff can feel like they're retreading Progress's steps. Aldis, however, could change that up (even if I'm not all that big on him).

    Thanks for the feedback Jon, I'm glad you approve of Marcel Barthel being apart of the UK Brand. I got to admit I was a little apprehensive about bringing him in more just to the national thing. But with his time spent in the UK plus the fact that he's pretty epic, I just wanted him to be apart of my brand. Plus I have I think a fun little story to introduce him to the brand. With the way the Showcase ended both Seven and Bate will be stepping away from the title scene for now. I can't deny I'm looking forward to writing for Trent Seven following this show. As for Pete Dunne, I have an interesting new opponent lined up for him. It's someone already on the roster but it's a fresh match and one which I feel will be interesting. You'll have to explain to me what you mean with the Progress remark, as I understand that Dunne, Andrews, Webster, Bate, Seven, Gibson and Banks for example were all roster members. But apart from my personal signings of Havoc/Haskins I don't really think I'm following in Progress' steps. If I am at all it's definitely not intentional as I chose to do this brand to make it my own interpretation of NXT UK. In regards to Aldis he is a fun addition to the brand and one who provides true name value. I just hope people like what I have instore for him.

    I hadn't considered Axel in NXT UK in real life before, but that's 100% what they should do. He's been signed for over a year now, close to 18 months, and they don't use him. It would also be touching new ground for him anyway because he rarely took English bookings when he was in wXw.

    Pleased you like Axel in the UK Brand as well Ed. It's one defo that I feel would be great IRL as well because like what you said, he really isn't being used. Which is a shame because he is a great talent.

    I only meant to compare it to Progress in the sense that a lot of these guys have worked together frequently in the past few years for that company so many of the match-ups have been done before. For example, Banks getting a push at the moment wouldn't feel very exciting since that would mean a feud with Dunne. This is all just a personal thing, to be honest. And obviously Progress isn't the biggest company around so it's not like many will have seen those rivalries before.

    Marcel Barthel was one of my favorite workers before he signed for NXT and fell off the map, so I'm always going to be happy to see him get something to do. He's immensely talented, and I think he's good at his character and at playing a heel.

    Oh that's fair enough I get what you mean there. I can't lie to you, there will be a time when Pete Dunne and Travis Banks have a match. That I cannot deny. In regards to Tyler/Pete the reason I did that match was more that in my mind it made sense. With my UK Brand having it's first Showcase it made sense to have a match that even casual fans were aware of if that makes sense. Because when you think of the WWE UK Brand the first names you think of are Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne. So my aim with that match from a business perspective was to use that to draw people to watch the show and have everyone else impress to then make them further invest in the brand. That was my reasoning.

    Barthel is great and it's a shame he fell off the map the way he did. So I hope I can do him justice here.

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 017 ~ Comfortably Numb
    9/3/18
    Braehead Arena, Glasgow, Scotland

    Dark Match: Dave Mastiff defeated Charlie Sterling

    Dusted by Astroid Boys plays in the background as this latest episode of the UK Brand opens up from inside the Braehead Arena in Glasgow,Scotland. Starting things out is a video package running down highlights from the UK Showcase culminating in the shocking moment where Trent Seven laid out his friend Tyler Bate. With the video closing on the shot of Seven walking up the ramp without even a second glance, this week's show officially opens up with several shots of the crowd in attendance before cutting to the commentary table where John Gooden and Doug Williams are seated. The duo hype up tonight's show as best they can before sending us to ringside for the opening contest.

    Match One: Travis Banks vs Tyson T-Bone

    Kicking off the show much to the delight of the crowd would be the in ring debut of "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks. Looking to play spoiler on the debut would be the rugged and hard hitting Tyson T-Bone. This match was a surprisingly back and forth battle with some vicious striking on display. With neither man holding anything back in what was a hard hitting yet brief contest, in the end much to the delight of the crowd it would be Travis Banks would would pick up the victory after connecting with the Slice of Heaven on T-Bone.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Travis Banks!

    The crowd cheers loudly as the announcement is made and Travis Banks climbs to his feet. Much to the delight of everyone in the building, Banks gets his hand raised by the referee before he leaves the ring and makes his way backstage.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Clips from earlier on in the day are then shown as Trent Seven makes his arrival into the building ahead of the show. Much to his bemusement Seven is quickly met by Joanna Rose who looks to get a few words with him. Asking the question on everyone's mind, Joanna straight up wants to know why Seven turned on his student and friend Tyler Bate. This doesn't sit well with Trent who stares at her with disgust before he counters by saying that he will talk about what happened when he is good and ready. Until then he has nothing else to say except that everyone who is asking why Trent why is just as responsible for what happened as Tyler was and that from now on it's all about Trent Seven!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Post show footage from the UK Showcase is then highlighted as it shows Wolfgang in the medics room being tended to after his match. As Wolfgang is inspected he is joined in the room by Jordan Devlin. As the two men face off Wolfgang demands to know what Devlin wants. Ever the smug, arrogant individual Devlin feigns wanting to see how Wolfgang was after being embarrassed in that street fight. This doesn't sit well with Wolfgang who slowly stands up from the chair and states he may have lost tonight but he went out there and fought with everything he had. He didn't have to resort to cheap tactics like Jordan did. This leads to Wolfgang challenging Devlin to a match which Devlin accepts. As the cameras fade out it is confirmed the match will happen next week!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Before the next match which would kickstart the women's Championship tournament began. A highlight video package was put together for both Chardonnay and Dakota Kai. This helps provide valuable insight to both women going into the match as they introduce themselves and explain what winning this title means to them. Kai, ever so humble and very reminiscent of her time in NXT speaks from the heart as she says she came to the WWE with a dream to be champion and that now is her chance to finally hold gold under the WWE banner.
    The complete opposite from Kai however is "The Queen of Chavs" Chardonnay. Unlike Kai who comes off as likable and personable. Chardonnay is brash, she is arrogant and she is entitled as she claims that the title to her is just another piece of jewelry for her collection. When talk turns to one another Kai despite being aware of Chardonnay's attitude praises her in ring skills as she states that she knows this will be a tough match and she knows that Chardonnay has talent. But she will do what she has to in order to win. Chardonnay meanwhile remains her usually arrogant self totally dismissing Kai as someone who falters against elite competition like her.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Two: Chardonnay vs Dakota Kai ~ UK Women's championship tournament ~ Round 1

    The United Kingdom Women's Championship Tournament would officially begin with the next contest of the evening as Dakota Kai battled Chardonnay. With many familiar with her from her tenure in NXT plus her matches in the Mae Young Classic, Dakota Kai was definitely the people's favorite in this clash with Chardonnay. Meanwhile Chardonnay had done little to win the people over thanks to the bad attitude held by "The Queen of Chavs", this and her constant trash talking earned Chardonnay a lot of boos from the people in attendance as in the early stages of the contest she was in the driver's seat. Looking to ground Kai and wear her down, Chardonnay worked her over with some impressive leg work as she looked to take the sting out of Kai's kicks. Unfortunately for Chardonnay despite her best efforts she could not keep Kai down and once she got rolling, she was unable to stop her as Kai eventually put her down following the Kai-Ropractor

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Dakota Kai!

    The crowd gives a loud pop to the announcement as slowly in the ring an emotional Dakota Kai climbs to her feet. Kai then gets her arm raised in the air before she walks over to Chardonnay, with her opponent despite her attitude earning her respect. Kai offers to help Chardonnay up but instead the Queen of Chavs shoves her back before rolling out of the ring and making her way backstage to jeers.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A small video recap is then shown over the monitors profiling Gideon Grey's appearance in the crowd at several UK Brand shows. Once the video comes to an end the cameras take us to what is made to look like a expensive restaurant. Sitting at a table for a moment on his own is Gideon Grey himself and he is soon joined by Joanna Rose. Stopping Joanna from asking him a question directly, Gideon is quickly asserts that for a man of his stature an interview in a hallway or a locker room is demeaning and that should he have something to say; he will be in charge of determining when and where he makes such announcements.
    Cutting to the chase Joanna says she requested this interview as she has heard that Lord Gideon Grey has finally signed a talent to be his client. Rather bemused Gideon Grey states that he is not a simple manager of talents, instead he is a lord looking to make an investment. A wealthy, esteemed individual who will only accept the best from those under his employ. Yet despite his love of the finer things in life, Gideon admits that there are times when one must get their hands dirty which is why rather than recruit some highly reputable athlete or handsome adonis; Gideon has elected to recruit someone who in his words is more than proven to be battle ready and more than happy to get his hands dirty. So with that said Gideon Grey's talent is Dave Mastiff!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Similar to earlier we get a pre-tape promo for the two women involved in the next match of the evening. Profiled this time round would be Killer Kelly and Laura Di Matteo. During her promo Killer Kelly spoke of how she grew up as a fan of Japanese wrestling citing people such as Asuka as those who she followed closely. Claiming that she interprets a lot of that in her style, Kelly says that not many women these days wrestle strong style. Meanwhile her opponent Laura Di Matteo keeps things short during this part of her promo. Stating that a lot of wrestlers these days talk a good game but can do little to back it up. Laura claims to be all business as she may not do a lot of talking but she is more than capable of backing it up.

    When asked about facing one another both women are respectful towards their opponent. With Kelly stating that Laura is very much like herself in that she is not afraid of going out there and having a fight in order to get what you want. Di Matteo says something similar in that she respects Kelly for being a true warrior like herself who is not afraid to go out on her shield. The closing words from Laura are that this match will be a dog fight and while she knows she may not leave this match one hundred percent after, Laura claims she will leave victorious.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match Three: Killer Kelly vs Laura Di Matteo ~ UK Women's Championship Tournament ~ Round One
    After Dakota Kai's impressive jaunt into the second round earlier, it was now time to see who would be joining her as two of the toughest women in the tournament would do battle in the next match between Portugal's Killer Kelly and London's Laura Di Matteo. This was very much a physical match with both girls in attendance happy to dish out some brutal strikes to one another while not being afraid of taking some either. In fact in the words of John Gooden, with some of the shots thrown in this match he would not be surprised if the bout ended by way of knockout. That would be at least until Laura Di Matteo began to ground Kelly and work her over with submissions. To her credit Kelly would manage to persevere and fight back before catching Laura with a nasty superkick out of nowhere to pick up a surprise victory in some people's minds.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Killer Kelly!
    The crowd gives a loud pop as the announcement is made before they begin applauding both Women for a hard fought match. After getting her arm raised Killer Kelly can see a dejected Laura taking a knee and helps her to her feet before she raises her arm in the air to a pop from the crowd.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    The cameras then cut away from ringside and instead take us to the office of our GM Katarina Leigh. Also present in the office is Nick Aldis as both he and the GM get down to business in regards to his future on the UK Brand. Packed full of confidence in regards to his skills and his future on the brand, Aldis brands himself as a future champion. With that Katarina talks about his first singles match as part of the UK Brand. Promising him a chance to put himself as a contender, Katarina books him in a match for next week's show against Mark Andrews!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    "NIEN"
    Marcel Bathel is coming!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Much to the delight of the crowd in attendance the entrance theme of Rockstar Spud begins to play. Slowly emerging from the back with a smile on his face, a proud Rockstar Spud makes his way down to the ring while on commentary they remind us of Spud's gutsy effort at the Showcase which saw him defeat Iestyn Rees. Once Spud reaches the ringside area he grabs himself a microphone before climbing into the ring. As he stands in the ring Spud is quick to thanks all the fans in attendance for their support as of late as he knows that without them things would have gone differently at the UK Showcase.

    Stating how his entire career he has constantly defied the odds and shocked the world. From people telling him he was too small to be a wrestler to people just saying he wasn't good enough to Iestyn Rees simply thinking he would be a walk over. Spud states that he has constantly been motivated to prove his doubters wrong. Which is what he did at the UK Showcase and now coming off a big win, he has one thing on his mind. Which is a match against Pete Dunne for the UK Championship and he feels he has earned that chance with his win at Showcase.

    The crowd cheers with Spud throwing the challenge out there. Mentioning how he is more than aware that Pete Dunne is a tough opponent and more than worthy of being champion. Spud states that he knows should he get this match it will be a tough battle but that he is more than prepared to fight with everything he has in order to shock the world once more.

    Just then much to the crowd's chagrin Pete Dunne's theme begins to play. With the crowd booing loudly slowly emerging from the back is the current UK Champion. Walking down to the ring Pete Dunne has a arrogant smirk on his face. Once he enters the ring Pete Dunne grabs a microphone. Standing in front of Spud, Pete Dunne is dismissive of Spud's challenge. Making it clear that he has no respect for Spud, Pete Dunne says that Spud has caught him in a good mood. Which is why he is going to give him some advice to avoid being embarrassed and that is stay in your lane.

    Stating that he has no time to deal with such a joke, Pete drops the microphone before he looks back at Spud and smirks. This sets Spud off who much to the delight of the crowd throws a punch of Pete Dunne. Dunne drops his title and takes a step back as Spud fires off another shot. Yet before he can land another punch a now angered Dunne levels him with a elbow strike. Spud collapses to the canvas as Dunne has completely laid him out with the blow. Standing over Spud, Dunne shouts at him to stay in his lane before picking his title up and holding it in the air as he stands over Spud.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Main Event: The Coffey Brothers vs Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown ~ UK Tag Team Championship Match
    It was now time for the main event of the evening and it would be for the UK Tag Team Championships as The Coffey Brothers defended their titles against the duo of Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown. Being thrown right in the deep end in their return as a tag team, the duo of Brown and Smith very much thrived under the pressure here as they proved a formidable match against the champions. While the crowd at first were in full support of the champs as the match went on they were split having been won over by the challengers also. The match was packed full of near falls between the two bruising tag teams as both Smith and Brown could more than match the Coffey's physicality. As the match reached it's conclusion it very much appeared that we'd have new champions after Ashton Smith ducked a discus lariat attempt of Joe and drilled him with a superkick. With Brown and Mark brawling on the floor Ashton went for a cover but Joe shockingly kicked out at two. Looking to finish the job, a frustrated Ashton dragged Joe to his feet only to be surprised with a small package for the three.
    Shepherd: And the winners of the match and still Champions The Coffey Brothers!
    The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as the announcement is made while a stunned, dejected Ashton Smith takes a knee in the ring. Mark Coffey slides into the ring with the titles in hand and he embraces his brother while a disappointed Rampage Brown kneels down by Ashton and puts his hand on his shoulder. As Brown and Smith climb to their feet, they quickly shake hands with the Coffey's before holding their arms high in the air as the show comes to a close.
    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 018 ~ The Fallen Angel
    16/3/18
    Emirates Arena, Glasgow, Scotland
    Dark Match: Charlie Sterling defeated Jurn Simmons
    Dusted by Astroid Boys plays as this latest edition of the WWE United Kingdom Brand begins. Starting things out is a video package which details all of the key events from last week's show. This includes moments such as the in ring debut of the Kiwi Buzzsaw Travis Banks plus the start of the UK Women's tournament which would see both Dakota Kai and Killer Kelly advance to round two. Also highlighted was the confrontation between Rockstar Spud and Pete Dunne as well as the Coffey brothers retaining their championships in the main event. With that this latest edition officially kicks off from inside the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. The crowd in attendance is brimming with anticipation for the night ahead as both Doug Williams and John Gooden begin to hype the night up. Including the main event which will see the in ring debut of Nick Aldis as he takes on Mark Andrews.
    Any positive vibes held from the crowd are quickly cut short thanks to the arrival of Trent Seven. Not dressed to compete but instead opting for a grey overcoat over a grey waistcoat, white shirt, black tie and grey suit trousers. Trent Seven does not react whatsoever to the negative reaction from the crowd as he calmly walks down to the ring before taking himself a microphone. Once he enters the ring Seven paces back and forth as the crowd drown him out with chants of you suck as well as chants for Tyler Bate. Yet once again Trent doesn't seem phased by this reaction.
    Despite the negative reaction, Seven begins to talk as he states that last week he made it clear that he would give some answers when he was good and ready. Claiming to now be ready to offer an explanation, Trent Seven states that he will only do so if he is truly given the respect he deserves by the people in attendance. This only earns Trent more boos from the crowd and finally his cool demeanor breaks as he snaps at the crowd in attendance. Blaming them in part for his actions, Trent Seven claims that he is constantly sick of being overlooked by everyone Trent Seven offers the world nothing but the cold hard truth.
    Because according to Trent Seven if it wasn't for him there would not be a UK Brand. Stating that he is the man who trained Tyler Bate and mentioning how he guided Pete Dunne in his career to be the man he is today. Trent Seven says that without him those two men would be nothing and if they weren't anything this brand wouldn't be here. Yet instead of being treated with the respect he deserves, Seven claims that all he has done is be pushed into the shadows. All he has done is allow everyone to treat him like an afterthought and for a while he stood by and allowed that to happen because he was happy to see those he'd mentored get ahead.
    That is until they wouldn't give him the respect he deserved either and looked at him as beneath them. Stating that with everything he was owed, Tyler Bate should have given Trent Seven the title match at the UK Showcase. Yet instead of doing the right thing Tyler Bate chose to let his ego take over. Branding Tyler as selfish and ungrateful as everyone else. Trent Seven makes it clear that from now on there will not be any putting Trent Seven in the corner. He will not stand back and be thought of as an afterthought because now it's all about Trent Seven! With the crowd booing, Trent Seven drops the microphone before he leaves the ring and heads backstage.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match One: Jordan Devlin vs Wolfgang

    The first contest of the evening would be a battle for respect as Jordan Devlin took on Wolfgang. This was set up by the abrasive Jordan who badmouthed Wolfgang following his defeat at the UK Showcase. The match would be a grueling battle of wills with Devlin and Wolfgang exchanging some hard strikes throughout with one another. As the match reached it's conclusion Wolfgang tried for a chokeslam on Devlin who countered with a DDT. True to form Devlin would then try and steal the win with both a handful of tights and his feet on the ropes. But this would backfire thanks to the ref catching Devlin's cheating. Arguing with the referee, the temper of Jordan would backfire on him as he shoved the referee into the corner. As the ref recovered from the shove he failed to see Wolfgang returning fire with a low blow on Devlin before he followed up with a school boy for the win.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Wolfgang!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Wolfgang rolls out of the ring. As Wolfgang celebrates his win, back in the ring Jordan Devlin takes a knee. Devlin then begins to argue with the referee to no avail about the finish.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    After a replay from last week's main event plays the cameras then cut to the hallway of the arena. Standing by would be the duo of Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown. While clearly dejected the two remained happy with their performance last week. As Brown expressed his pride in Ashton for how far he has come since joining the UK Brand. The two would soon be joined by both Mark Coffey and Joe Coffey. With a lot of respect between the teams, the men all shake hands before Mark and Joe get to business. Calling last week's match a battle, Mark and Joe make it clear that wars like that are what they want. Yet in their mind last week they didn't win instead they only survived. Which is why they want to offer Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown a rematch next week. Without any hesitation both Smith and Brown accept the offer for a match next week.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    A promo video then begins to play highlighting tonight's first round match up of the WWE United Kingdom Women's Championship tournament. The promo video would focus on two women very much at different stages of their career but with some noted similarities. Firstly profiled would be Jetta, a veteran of the UK scene who was known for her vicious in ring style not too mention her arrogant, outspoken nature which earned her the nickname of Coventry's Loudest. Her opponent meanwhile would be "The Fashionista" Jinny, a domineering and snobbish woman who despite being young in her career is regarded as one of the UK's standout female talents.

    As both women begin talking Jetta references that she did for a long while walk away from what she loved. But that wrestling always called to her and now she's come back and she is more than happy that she has. When asked about Jinny, Jetta says she can see the similarities between the two of them. As in many ways she was the young upstart that Jinny is who felt that she didn't have to earn everything. Yet the truth is, a fall in that situation is the correction needed to stop that bad attitude. Jetta than promises that tonight she will give Jinny that fall.

    Meanwhile true to form Jinny in her promo was totally dismissive of veteran Jetta. Stating that in only a few years in the business she has already eclipsed the veteran. Jinny claims the truth is Jetta walked away all those years ago because she could not compete with the best then. But that things have evolved now and those who were better than Jetta are mere footnotes today. In her closing statement Jinny confidently predicts that Jetta retired before because she wasn't good enough and that now the same thing will happen, because she cannot compete with the fashionista.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match Two: Jetta vs Jinny ~ UK Women's Championship tournament ~ Round One
    The first of two women's first round tournament matches would then take place for the next match as Jetta battled Jinny. True to form this was a battle between two brash female competitors who had no problem bending the rules to get ahead. The crowd were completely on the side of the veteran Jetta which gave her some new fire throughout the contest. Yet as it looked like Jetta might have things in the bag she was sent careening into the ring post by Jinny who followed up with the facelift for the victory.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Jinny!
    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Jinny gets her arm raised in the ring. As Jinny talks some smack to the booing crowd she turns to see a dejected Jetta taking a knee. To the surprise of everyone Jinny walks over to Jetta and offers her an olive branch by helping her to her feet. With the veteran having earned her respect clearly Jinny raises an emotional Jetta's arm in the air. This earns Jetta a pop from the crowd as they give the veteran their respect. Growing emotional Jetta hugs Jinny before she backs off to wipe the tears from her eyes. Jinny then raises her arm in the air once more before pulling Jetta in for a vicious clothesline!
    The crowd erupt into boos as Jinny stands over Jetta and slaps her hard across the face. With Jetta motionless on the canvas, Jinny leaves the ring to boos.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    The cameras then cut to the locker room area where Travis Banks is standing by with Joanna Rose. Clips of his debut victory are shown before the cameras cut back to the interview. Starting things off, Joanna is quick to welcome Travis Banks officially to the UK brand. After thanking Joanna for the welcome, Travis makes it clear that he is thrilled to be here and be apart of the UK Brand. When asked what brought him to the brand, Banks is quick to answer that he hasn't come here to mess around. He has came here for what he truly thrives on which is competition. Closing out the interview Banks says that's all he is after, a chance to face the best competition available.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match Three: Dave Mastiff and Gideon Grey vs Sid Scala and Wade Fitzgerald (Locals)
    After introducing his client last week this week Gideon Grey put Dave Mastiff to work in his match under his charge. Yet much to everyone's surprise rather than booking him in a regular singles match, instead Gideon Grey got a tag match made opting to team with Dave Mastiff. The match would begin with Gideon Grey giving a cheap shot to Wade before tagging out to Dave. From here the match was totally dominated by Dave Mastiff who destroyed both Sid Scala and Wade Fitzgerald. After only a couple of minutes Dave crushed both men in the corner with a cannonball before he tagged out to Gideon Grey who entered the ring and placed his foot on the chest of Sid Scala for the cover to claim the victory.
    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Dave Mastiff and Gideon Grey!
    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and Dave Mastiff joins Gideon Grey in the ring. Grey gets his arm raised in the air before he and Mastiff leave the ring while the ref checks on the status of their opponents.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    "NIEN"
    Marcel Barthel is coming!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A promo package ahead of the next match plays highlighting the next two participants in the women's title tournament. The two women profiled this time round would be Sierra Loxton and Shazza McKenzie. Unlike the earlier tournament match there was no bad blood between the duo. Instead there was a noted respect between the two albeit a quirky one in the case of Sierra Loxton. Living up to her nickname of the Freaky Princess, Loxton very much considered herself a princess as she stated that all she was missing was her crown.
    Meanwhile her opponent Shazza McKenzie is quick to call this tournament her big break. Mentioning how she has been at this for years now and wrestled all across the globe even for a few brief matches in NXT. Shazza claims that while before she might not have been ready for this opportunity, now she knows she more than ready for this opportunity. Stating that she knows tonight her opponent is a weird one, which causes many to overlook her. Shazza states that she will not make that mistake and she is taking Sierra seriously. But that tonight is only just the beginning of Shazza vs world which means Loxton's fairy tale won't have a happy ending.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Four: Sierra Loxton vs Shazza McKenzie ~ UK Women's championship Tournament ~ Round 1

    Now it would be time for the second Women's title tournament match of the evening as Shazza McKenzie battled Sierra Loxton. This was a surprisingly back and forth match despite Loxton's lack of experience. A hard hitting collision with some close near falls. Loxton's unorthodox style definitely was able to make her more than a match for Shazza. That would be until she made one mistake by going to the well one time too many. Having connected with her corner hip attack several times over Sierra tried one last time only for Mckenzie to move out of the way. Hitting the corner hard Sierra would stagger forward and be pulled down to the canvas with a crossface chickenwing submission. Despite her attempts to escape Sierra would be left with little choice but to submit.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Shazza McKenzie

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and an emotional Shazza McKenzie climbs to her feet. Proud of finally getting a win in the WWE under her name. McKenzie overwhelmed, kneels on the canvas and pounds the mat with her hands. As she gets up and gets her arm raised to a huge cheer, Shazza then walks over and checks on the disappointed Sierra Loxton before helping her to her feet and shaking her hand.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    With that the cameras take us to the office of general manager Katarina Leigh. Standing by with Katarina is Rockstar Spud. Still angered about his confrontation with Pete Dunne, Rockstar Spud makes it clear that what he wants is a match with Pete Dunne as soon as possible. Much to his dismay however, Katarina refuses to grant Spud his request. Instead stating that she has an announcement regarding Pete Dunne's next contender to come soon, Katarina brushes Spud off by telling him that he will simply have to wait until then.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Main Event: Mark Andrews vs Nick Aldis

    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and it would see Nick Aldis make his singles debut against Mark Andrews. These two were already familiar with one another following their participation in the 6 man tag at the UK Showcase. Yet despite this prior interaction Aldis clearly had no respect for Andrews as an opponent. Overlooking him as an easy out, Aldis would soon be in for a rude awakening as Andrews gave him more than a run for his money and nearly put him away on several occasions. This would be until the closing stretch in which Aldis would catch Andrews in midair after he attempted a hurricanrana and locked him in the Kings' Lynn Cloverleaf. Yet much to Aldis' frustration Andrews was able to grab the ropes. Aldis attempted to pull Andrews from the ropes but he was met with an up kick to the jaw. Rolling to his feet Mark tried for a clothesline on Aldis who ducked and Andrews would connect with the referee.

    With the ref down Aldis blindsided Mark Andrews from behind. Again Aldis looked for the cloverleaf but Andrews once again kicked him off. Andrews then tried for a tornado DDT but Aldis would shove him off before kicking Andrews to the balls. Andrews collapsed on the canvas and Aldis made the cover with a handful of tights while the groggy ref made the count.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Nick Aldis!

    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and Nick Aldis climbs to his feet. Kicking Andrews out under the ropes and to the floor, Aldis then demands the referee raises his arm in the air. After getting his hand raised in victory, the boastful Aldis begins to celebrate his win while the show comes to a close.

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 019 ~ Victim of Changes
    23/3/18
    Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, Scotland

    Dark Match: William Eaver defeated Charlie Sterling

    Dusted by Astroid Boys plays as this latest edition of the WWE United Kingdom Brand begins. Starting out the show is a recap of the previous week's edition. This starts out with clips of "The Don" Trent Seven finally explaining his actions at the UK Showcase before Moving on to the two round one women's title tournament matches which saw both Jinny and Shazza McKenzie advance in the tournament. From there the recap ends with Nick Aldis beating Mark Andrews, before this week's show opens up with John Gooden and Doug Williams promoting the show we have ahead of us from inside Kelvin Hall. Hyping up the main event rematch between the Coffey Brothers and the duo of Rampage Brown and Ashton Smith, Williams and Gooden then send us to the ring for the first match of the evening.

    Match One: Dave Mastiff and Gideon Grey vs Sean Guinness and Damien Corvin (Locals)

    Opening the show would be a tag team match as once again "Lord" Gideon Grey teamed up with Dave Mastiff to take on two local competitors. Similar to last week's effort this match was very much all Dave Mastiff. Pummeling both his opponents, Mastiff again showed himself to be a dominant force while on the apron Gideon Grey would loudly boast about their success. Yet again after only a couple of minutes of action, Mastiff would crush both Sean and Damien with a cannonball before tagging out to Gideon who would make the cover and take the win for his team.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Gideon Grey and Dave Mastiff!

    The crowd in attendance boo loudly as the announcement is made and Gideon Grey takes his foot off of the chest of Sean Guinness. As Grey gets his arm raised in the air he loudly boasts of his victory while he is joined by Dave Mastiff.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Footage filmed from earlier on this evening is then shown as Tyler Bate arrives at the arena. As Tyler makes his way through the entrance he is joined by backstage interviewer Joanna Rose. Looking to get the first words from Tyler since the UK Showcase and what happened with Trent Seven. Joanna asks him how he is feeling what his thoughts on the matter are. Yet in response Bate stoically responds that the only reason he is here tonight is because he has a match against Oliver Grey, apart from that he won't be doing any interviews. Tyler then walks away from Joanna Rose and heads further into the building.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A pre-taped promo then plays highlights the contestants ahead of the next match of the evening which would be a round one match in the UK Women's tournament. Profiled first out of the two competitors was Jamie Hayter. Admitting that this is her first big break in her career, Jamie Hayter claims that many people with her experience might crumble. Yet she states that despite her young age and lack of experience the time she spent overseas in Japan has made her more than ready for the opportunity she has in front of her here. Stating her respect for her opponent Tegan Nox, Jamie Hayter claims that she isn't overwhelmed by going up against one of the favorites in the tournament. Instead she looks at this as her opportunity to show everyone else what she is capable of.

    The second half of the promo moved to Tegan Nox, considered one of the strong favorites in the tournament. Tegan Nox spoke about how she was previously supposed to compete in the Mae Young Classic. That was until injuries brought her down. Stating how she heard back then she was a favorite and she hears now she is a favorite to win. Tegan claims that if there is one thing she has learned in all of this. It is that nothing is for certain and nothing is guaranteed that is why there is no such thing as a gimme or an easy match. Stating that Jamie Hayter is a young woman with a world of potential and nothing to lose. Nox acknowledges that this won't be the walkover people expect it to be. Instead she knows she is in for a battle.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Two: Tegan Nox vs Jamie Hayter ~ UK Women's title tournament ~ Round One

    The next contest of the evening would be our first of two round one women's title tournament matches. This battle between Tegan Nox and Jamie Hayter would be a a hard hitting battle, packed with some brutal strikes on both parts. Despite both girls having a ton of respect for one another they held nothing back here until finally Tegan Nox picked up the win following a shining wizard.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Tegan Nox!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Tegan Nox climbs to her feet in the ring. Nox gets her arm raised high in the air as she is clearly emotional about having got a WWE win under her belt. Slowly Jamie Hayter begins to recover and Tegan Nox helps her to her feet before snatching her in a hug. As the two back away Jamie then raises her arm in the air to a pop from the crowd.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The cameras then cut to the office of our GM Katarina Leigh. The GM doesn't look to be in the best of moods as she is standing across from a embittered Jordan Devlin. Still angry and frustrated about his match with Wolfgang the previous week. The brash Devlin is quick to call it a fluke as he demands a rematch. Yet as Devlin continues to grow more angry he was backed down by Luke Menzies who was standing in the corner of the room. After ordering Devlin to calm down, Katarina reveals that she will in fact grant him his wish and announces that he will face Wolfgang next week.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Joanna Rose is shown once again as she stands by in the hallway of the building with Nick Aldis. Looking to interview Aldis following his victory last week over Mark Andrews. However the interview doesn't go as planned because Aldis instead quickly cut her down after she mentioned how some called his win last week tainted. Snatching the microphone from Joanna, Aldis orders her to walk away before he looks back at the camera. Calling himself the future of the UK Brand and it's first true star. Nick Aldis closes out by promising that soon he will be it's champion.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Three: Tyler Bate vs Oliver Grey

    Wrestling for the first time since the UK Showcase. It was safe to say that there was something noticeably off about Tyler Bate here in this match. Wrestling without the usual fire and heart he usually has, Bate looked like a shell of his former self here against Oliver Grey. As the match went on it appeared that even Oliver Grey was frustrated with Bate's lack of fire. Because in a stunning moment after yelling at Tyler what was wrong with him, Oliver Grey would slap Bate across the face. In turn this would cause Tyler Bate to snap and viciously take Grey down to the mat before savagely unloading on him with strikes.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match as a result of a disqualification Oliver Grey!

    The crowd are in shock as Bate keeps on attacking Grey until the referee tries to pull him off. Yet instead Bate punches out the referee. Finally calming down Bate looks horrified at his actions as he backs up into the corner while officials and medics hit the scene.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Returning to the hallway of the arena Travis Banks is shown stretching out when he is approached by Josh Bodom. In a surprising move Bodom is respectful and offers Banks a handshake but as Banks goes to accept, Bodom's true colors display as he rescinds the offer and instead begins to disrespect Banks. Travis offers Bodom a chance to step into the ring with him if he has a problem. Yet instead of accept the offer, Bodom states that Banks is an outsider and he shouldn't even be apart of the UK Brand in the first place before walking off down the hallway.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A pre match promo then airs ahead of the next contest of the evening. This was the second round one match in the women's title tournament of the evening. Firstly the promo would focus on one of the youngest women in the tournament Xia Brookside. The daughter of UK wrestling legend Robbie Brookside, Xia talks about wanting to make her own legacy in wrestling. Stating how she had the best teacher in her father to start her career. Xia comments how he taught her respect, discipline and toughness. Calling this tournament her chance to prove everyone that she is more than just the daughter of Robbie Brookside, Xia claims that she knows April Davids is a tough opponent but that she believes tonight is her night.

    The next part of the promo then focuses on April Davids. Showing herself to be an embittered veteran of the game, April Davids instead of being honored about being in the tournament or respectful to her opponent. Is quick to state that this is an opportunity which in her mind should have come a lot sooner and how she is sick and tired of banging down doors only for another one to be put up. Calling the tournament a joke and tonight a waste of time, April Davids closes out this promo by promising to show the difference between a two women's wrestler and an entitled millennial.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Four: April Davids vs Xia Brookside ~ UK Women's title tournament ~ Round one

    As the second Women's title tournament match began. It was safe to say that there wasn't any respect between April Davids and her opponent Xia Brookside. This was very much down to the attitude of Davids and how she ruthlessly attacked Xia throughout the match. Plucky and full of fire, Xia had the crowd behind her as they willed for her to win but every time she got on offense she was soon grounded by Davids. In the end this heavy grappling approach would pay off for April as she caught Xia in a nasty knee bar for the submission victory.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match April Davids!

    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and after a few added seconds, April Davids finally releases the hold on a screaming Xia Brookside. Shoving the ref aside as he looks to raise her hand, April Davids instead opts to kick Xia out of the ring before finally raising her arm in the air while the crowd boos.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Standing by in the locker room watching the show is an unimpressed Pete Dunne. As Dunne stands by he is soon joined in the room by Rockstar Spud. Spud confronts Dunne yet again as he wants a match with him but once more Pete Dunne shows him little respect and hardly acknowledges him as a fellow wrestler. Instead breaking out into the slightest of smirks, Pete Dunne says the only good thing about Rockstar Spud is that he enjoys hurting him. This doesn't sit well with Spud who responds by throwing a punch at Dunne who blocks it and counters with a stiff forearm strike. Spud falls to a knee as Dunne crouches down beside him and thanks him for the entertainment tonight. Spud from a knee throws a weak punch at Dunne who catches him by the arm and takes him down onto the ground before viciously stomping across the fingers of Spud. As Spud screams out in pain, Dunne follows up with several hard punches to the face knocking Spud out before adding a stomp to the chest for good measure. With Spud down, Dunne walks out of the locker room.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    "NIEN"
    Marcel Barthel is coming!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Main Event: The Coffey Brothers vs Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown ~ UK Tag Team Championship Match

    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and it would be a rematch from two weeks ago ago as the Coffey Brothers yet again faced off with Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown. Similar to the first match this was a hard hitting, back and forth brawl in which both teams had their moments. The battle was packed full of tense moments and false finishes before it looked like we was about to crown new champions. This would be after a single leg dropkick from Ashton Smith combined with a spinebuster from Brown.

    Yet just as Smith would make the cover to take the titles, the match would be interrupted by Jimmy Havoc and Clint Magera! Both men are armed with weapons as Havoc uses a Singapore cane to put down Ashton Smith while Clint Margera takes out the legs of Rampage Brown with a baseball bat. After laying out the contenders, Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera turn their attentions to the weakened champions. After a leaping reverse STO by Jimmy Havoc face plants Joe Coffey across the ring steps, Clint Margera plants Mark Coffey with a death valley driver across the ring apron. With the match being ruled a no contest both Havoc and Margera stand over the tag team champions as the show cuts to a close.

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 020 ~ Bridge over Troubled Water
    23/3/18
    Braehead Arena, Glasgow

    Dark Match: Jack Gallagher defeated Noam Dar

    Dusted by Astroid Boys plays in the background as this week's episode of the WWE United Kingdom Brand opens with a recap of the events of last week's show. Starting out with coverage of the Women's title tournament matches which saw both Tegan Nox and April Davids advance to the next round. Footage than turned to Tyler Bate snapping and handing out a vicious beating to Oliver Grey. Finally the footage would end on Jimmy Havoc and Clint Margera interrupting and attacking all the participants involved in the tag team title main event. With that this week's show would open and take us right to the commentary table where both Doug Williams and John Gooden would hype up tonight's show ahead of our opening match.

    Match One: Travis Banks vs Charlie Sterling

    Opening the show would be a singles match between "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks and Charlie Sterling. Despite being spoke about as a pretty boy by the commentary team, Sterling had little fear of engaging in combat with the hard hitting Banks. After a back and forth few minutes of back and forth action, Travis Banks would be able to secure his second victory under the UK Brand after hitting Sterling with the Slice of Heaven.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Travis Branks!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Travis Banks climbs to his feet in the ring. As Travis Banks begins to celebrate his win, the cameras cut backstage to the locker room where an unimpressed Josh Bodom and Mark haskins are watching on.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A replay from last week then plays as it focuses heavily on Tyler Bate flipping out. Once the video comes to an end the cameras show us footage filmed from earlier on in the day and focuses on a meeting between Tyler Bate and GM Katarina Leigh. It is clear our general manager was not impressed with Bate's actions last week as she mentioned how he nearly put Oliver Grey on the shelf. Asking if Bate is OK, Katarina is quickly brushed off by Tyler as he quickly apologizes for last week as he claims he didn't know what came over him. Bate is then quick to ask for another match tonight in order to prove everything is fine. Reluctantly Katarina agrees before she asks him not to make her regret this decision. With that Katarina announces that in the main event Tyler Bate will take on Nick Aldis.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    The cameras then take us to the locker room area where both Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown are standing by. The duo are watching a replay of the attack from Clint Margera and Jimmy Havoc on both them and the Coffey Brothers from the previous show. Both men are incredibly angered at what has happened and the fact that they missed out on becoming the tag team champions. With that Ashton Smith speaks for both himself and Brown as they demand a match with Havoc and Margera!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match Two: Pete Dunne vs Morgan Webster
    The next match of the evening would be a non title affair as Pete Dunne battled Morgan Webster. This would be a physical contest with Webster very much putting in a good account for himself against the brutish champion. Unfortunately in the end for Morgan, it wouldn't be enough as Pete Dunne was able to put him down following the Bitter End.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Pete Dunne!
    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Pete Dunne climbs to his feet. Once he is up Pete Dunne begins to stomp on the downed Morgan Webster until Rockstar Spud rushes down to the ring. Dunne has a smirk on his face as he waits for Spud to get to the ring. Sliding under the ropes Spud ducks under a shot from Dunne before he meets him with a punch of his own. Spud has Dunne reeling with a couple of shots until Dunne counters with a brutal forearm smash putting Spud down on the canvas. With Spud rocked, Dunne drags him to his feet before he then readies him for a Bitter End. Yet as Dunne hoists Spud up he is stunned as Spud counters midway through and pulls Dunne down to the canvas with a DDT. Dunne is badly rocked and staggers to his feet before falling back through the ropes and out to the floor. The crowd in attendance is buzzing huge as a fired up Spud calls for Dunne to get back in the ring.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    It would now be time for our first of two promo packages of the evening highlighting the UK Women's title tournament. This promo would focus on what was arguably one of the more star packed opening round matches as Nikki Cross battled Saraya Knight. Starting out the promo would focus on "The Twisted Sister" Nikki Cross. As those familiar with Nikki from her NXT days would expect. This was a crazed, ranting Nikki Cross who went on about wanting something shiny. Totally focused and obsessed on claiming that title for her own. Cross didn't talk much about the match ahead but she did promise to hurt anyone who stops her getting what she wants.

    The second part of the promo would then turn to Saraya Knight. The mother of WWE Women's Champion Paige, Saraya Knight spoke about how she has been wrestling for nearly twenty years now. Stating how she has trained many stars in this business including her own daughter. Saraya follows up by revealing that while many with these side jobs and her years in the business would step aside. In her mind this tournament for her is all or nothing. Claiming to still be hungry and to still want this opportunity. Saraya promises that no one will stand in her way and stop her getting what she wants.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match Three: Nikki Cross vs Saraya Knight ~ UK Women's title tournament ~ Round 1
    It was now time for the first of two women's title tournament matches in the evening and this one would be a battle between two of the most experienced competitors in the tournament overall. This was arguably the match of the tournament so far in the early stages as Nikki Cross and Saraya Knight participated in a hard hitting, back and forth battle of wills. After a variety of near falls being traded Nikki Cross would pick up the win following the Purge.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Nikki Cross!
    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and a frantic Nikki Cross climbs to her feet in the ring. While Cross runs around like a mad woman, the referee checks on the downed Saraya Knight.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Returning backstage the cameras take us to Joanna Rose, standing by backstage ahead of this interview Joanna brings out her guest Marcel Barthel. After taking a moment to welcome Marcel to the brand, Joanna asks him just what the fans can expect to see when he steps into the ring. Cutting a rather stoic presence, Marcel states that when Marcel Barthel steps into that ring. You will not see a sports entertainer or a buffoon playing wrestler. Instead you will see a serious competitor one who is bringing honor and respect back to the sport. Joanna looks for a follow up question only for Marcel to cut her off with a loud NIEN before he walks off set.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The second promo package of the evening would then play and focus on the second UK Women's title tournament match up of the evening between Pollyanna and Dahlia Black. The first part of the promo focuses on Wales' Pollyanna, a highly reputable talent who recently stepped out of retirement and returned to the ring. Citing the rise of the UK scene and the growth of women's wrestling as her reason for returning. Pollyanna states that she is more than ready for this tournament and promises victory over someone she considers all sizzle and no steak like Dahlia Black.
    Meanwhile her opponent New Zealand's Dahlia Black talks of this opportunity and how she now considers the UK her home. Stating that she has followed her mentor Travis Banks to the UK Brand. Black considers herself to be a hybrid of his style and her own. As she states that she mixes in the hard striking that she adopted from him with some high flying action that is her own. Asked of Pollyanna, Dahlia Black praises her as a veteran and someone she looks up to. But that tonight that all has to be put aside in order for her to advance to the next round of the tournament.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Four: Dahlia Black vs Pollyanna ~ UK Women's title tournament ~ Round 1

    Up next was the second UK Women's title tournament match of the evening. Although both women in the run up made it clear that they had great respect for one another's skills. You wouldn't realize it from this match as they tore into each other from the opening bell. For most part the veteran Pollyanna was in control, at least that would be the case until a mistake up top cost her and allowed Dahlia Black to counter a suplex before throwing her down to the canvas with a gourdbuster. Still perched on the turnbuckle, Black would follow up with a moonsault for the victory.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Dahlia Black!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Dahlia Black climbs to her feet in the ring. Dahlia Black then begins to celebrate her victory while at ringside a dejected Pollyanna begins to make a slow walk to the back.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Footage filmed from backstage then shows an interview attempt from Joanna Rose with Nick Aldis. Yet once again Aldis quickly cut her off and sent her on her way. Aldis proclaims himself once again as the star the UK Brand needs before calling tonight's match with Tyler Bate a walkover. Yet as Aldis continues his boastful diatribe he is soon confronted by Morgan Webster who proclaims that he will be happy to see Nick Aldis lose tonight. Instead Aldis counters by promising to run through Tyler Bate this week before following up by saying that he'll see Morgan in the ring next week once he is done tonight.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Five: Jordan Devlin vs Wolfgang

    After being in his mind humiliated by Wolfgang in what Jordan Devlin called a fluke defeat two weeks ago. Jordan came out here for this match looking to prove a point and he did so by attacking Wolfgang brutally before the bell. Grounding him in the corner, Jordan Devlin relentlessly stomps down on his chest. This would be until the referee forces Devlin to back up. Slowly Wolfgang gets to his feet in the corner and the ref checks to see if he can continue. Wolfgang nods his head and the referee rings the bell. Looking to continue the work he has done Devlin rushes to Wolfgang and once again pummels him in the corner. Devlin then drags Wolfgang from the corner but is met with a small package cradle by Wolfgang which picks him up the victory!

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Wolfgang!

    The crowd cheers loudly as the announcement is made and Wolfgang rolls out of the ring to the floor. Meanwhile in the ring a frustrated Jordan Devlin climbs to his feet in the ring before he begins to argue with the referee.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The cameras then take us to the hallway of the arena where Gideon Grey is standing by with Dave Mastiff. While Gideon Grey is in the middle of praising Dave Mastiff on their success lately before he begins to brag about his own unbeaten streak. Grey's rambling would soon be intercepted as he'd be confronted by Kenny Williams. Sick and tired of hearing Grey talk, Williams was quick to remind Gideon Grey that he wasn't the one who was undefeated. It was Dave Mastiff and that no one backstage respects Gideon Grey or his so called win streak. Grey looks irate on hearing this but when Kenny offers him a chance to prove him wrong, Gideon doesn't respond while a smirking Williams walks off down the hall.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Main Event: Tyler Bate vs Nick Aldis

    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and it would see Tyler Bate battle Nick Aldis. With the crowd fully behind him, Tyler Bate looked to be motivated in this match as he very much looked like his old self in the early going. The match was back and forth with both men having their moments to impress. Yet as the match gone whatever was going on in the head of Tyler Bate began to have an effect. Still troubled at the actions of his former friend and mentor, Bate's heart break would play an effect near the conclusion of the match. Because with his head not in it, Bate would eventually be forced to submit to the Kings Lynn Cloverleaf.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Nick Aldis!

    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and Nick Aldis gets his arm raised in the air. After the camera focuses on Aldis and his celebration. The cameras then cut to the ringside steps where a dejected Tyler Bate is sitting with his head in his hands. With that the show then comes to a close.

    New UK Brand signings revealed today!

    In some big news confirmed today it can be confirmed that some familiar faces will be arriving soon to the UK Brand. The first of which will be a man who wowed audiences with his deceptive athleticism in the Cruiserweight Classic and has continued to do so since then in NXT as Fabian Aichner joins the UK Brand. Coming with him will be a tag team who audiences have seen turn from fan favorites into self serving, arrogant individuals as The Mighty will also be joining the UK brand. With these signings there are also reports that the brand is currently in discussions to bring in both 'Pastor' William Eaver as well as 'Session Moth' Martina.

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 021 ~ Go Your own way
    30/3/18
    Kelvin Hall, Glasgow

    Dark Match: The Mighty defeated Charlie Sterling and Oliver Grey

    Dusted by Astroid Boys plays in the background as this week's episode of the WWE United Kingdom Brand opens with a recap of the events of last week's show. Starting out with the latest battle between Rockstar Spud and Pete Dunne. The recap moves on to the latest update of the women's title tournament. This would focus on both Nikki Cross and Dahlia Black advancing to the next round after wins over Sweet Saraya and Pollyanna respectively. From there clips of Wolfgang beating Jordan Devlin were then focused on before finally it would end with Nick Aldis defeating Tyler Bate. Once the recap comes to an end the show officially opens up with John Gooden and Doug Williams promoting tonight's event.

    Match One: Marcel Barthel vs Matt Brookes (Local)

    Opening the show would be the in ring debut of Marcel Barthel as he took on local competitor Matt Brookes. Unfortunately things wouldn't go to plan however as Barthel looked his opponent up and down with disgust before the bell rang and instead elected to walk backstage refusing to wrestle the match. A confused Brookes would stand in the ring while the referee spoke with the announcer outside. This would be until Jordan Devlin rushed down to the ring and laid out Brookes with a brutal spinning heel kick to jeers from the crowd!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The crowd in attendance boos loudly as Jordan Devlin snatches himself a microphone while officials check on Matt Brookes. With a microphone in hand, Jordan Devlin angrily rants about his matches with Wolfgang. Calling everything that has happened a fluke. Jordan Devlin continues to spout off as he proclaims himself the next UK Champion before branding himself the flagship member of the entire United Kingdom Brand. As the packed crowd in attendance erupt into boos, Jordan follows up by demanding that Wolfgang comes out here right now!

    Instead however much to the crowd's surprise and Jordan Devlin's annoyance Tyler Bate walks out from the back and onto the stage. With a microphone in hand, Bate is visibly frustrated as he tells Jordan to shut up for the first time ever in his life. The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as Bate says that right now he is the voice of everyone in the back as he states that he is sick and tired of hearing Jordan Devlin bitch and moan about how he hasn't got this or that. Bate follows up by stating the frustrating thing about Jordan is that he is talented but supremely entitled.

    Firing back Devlin immediately takes a low blow on Bate as he asks him when he says he talks for everyone, if that includes Trent Seven! Bate grits his teeth as Devlin says if we are talking about accepting defeat, Tyler Bate perhaps should look at himself because at this minute Bate either freezes or flips out. This doesn't sit well with Tyler who begins to walk down to the ring as he states that while he isn't Wolfgang, he is more than ready for a fight. Bate hits the ring as Devlin follows up by branding him a mental midget. The two men then begin to trade punches back and forth this would be until Katarina Leigh walked out onto the stage. Ordering both men to stop now, Katarina would then announce that later on tonight Tyler Bate would take on Jordan Devlin.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A promo then airs before the next match of the evening and it focuses on the UK Women's title tournament. Starting out the video profiles one of the most experienced individuals in the tournament as well as the smallest in Erin Angel. A fifteen year pro, Erin Angel is quick to assert that this is an opportunity she has waited years for to come. Mentioning how she came up with some of the best the UK Scene had to offer. Erin confirms that she is often overlooked for her size. Which is definitely the case in this contest as she comes up against the biggest woman in the tournament. But that doesn't mean anything to her, because Erin Angel has always been the smallest dog in the fight. But she has more fight in her than anyone else who stands in front of her.

    The video then transitions over to a woman who won the hearts of the WWE Universe during the Mae Young Classic Jazzy Gabert.
