    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

27 years ago the UK Fans witnessed a spectacle. An epic battle between blood as Bret Hart and the British Bulldog clashed for the Intercontinental Championship. The culmination would see the Bulldog reign supreme with the title in his posession. Now nearly 3 decades on, the WWE will be returning to Wembley with it's new wave of British Talents.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    NXT Japanese/Mexico Brands confirmed

Thanks to the success of both NXT in America as well as WWE's United Kingdom Brand. It can be confirmed that the WWE is looking to continue it's attempts to make territory based developmental systems. Now that both NXT and the UK Brand have taken lives of their own, we know that WWE is looking to further branch out into two more of wrestling's hotbeds. This of course being Japan and Mexico! We now know that in this expansion not only will WWE be developing their own performance centers out there as well as running shows for the respective brands. It is said that while WWE Mexico is very much in early days of it's development that WWE Japan has already began it's recruitment. With designs to run it in a totally distinct feel to other WWE programing. It is said that the brand will have a lot more of a sports vibe similar to traditional Japanese wrestling with a strong emphasis on wins and losses. We also know that the brand will have a matchmaker in a similar vane to William Regal in NXT as Tatsumi Fujinami will be the authority figure. A few names being reached out to or assigned to the brand are as followed.

    Akira Tozawa
    Daichi Hashimoto
    Daisuke Sekimoto
    Dick Togo
    EITA
Hirooki Goto - With Goto's New Japan contract believed to be expiring later this year. WWE officials are hoping to recruit him for some name value
    Jiro Kuroshio
    Katsuya Kitamura
    Kaz Hayashi
    Kento Miyahara
    Konosuke Takeshita
    Kushida
    Minoru Suzuki
    Shigehiro Irie
    Taka Michinoku
    Yamato
    Yuji Okabayashi

    Dash Chisako
    Giulia
    Hana Kimura
    Hiroyo Matsumoto
    Mayu Iwatani
    Meiko Satomura

While it is said that some of these names may not end up signing with the brand. They have been offered deals and it wouldn't be a surprise in the meantime for one or two to make an odd appearance on NXT or as part of the UK Brand.

WWE United Kingdom Brand - Episode 076 - Zenith
    18/4/19
    Copper Box Arena
    London, England

Dark Match: Jamie Hayter defeated Zoe Lucas

This week's edition of the WWE United Kingdom Brand kicks off with a special song to the tune of Meet on the Battlefield by SVRCINA. Starting out this week's show is a video package from the previous week's events with primary focus of course being on highlights from the UK Rumble. Before we get there however we see clips of Tyler Bate joining forces with Pete Dunne and Trent Seven as well as their assault on the Coffey brothers. With that done the video focuses fully on the UK Rumble with highlights including Travis Banks going wire to wire and the shocking debut of Marty Scurll. The video then of course ends with a victorious Travis Banks standing tall before this week's show opens up from London. Before an excited crowd in attendance we head to the commentary table where Doug Williams and John Gooden are joined by former Divas Champion Layla.

John: Ladies and Gentleman, good evening and welcome to the latest edition of the UK Brand. I am John Gooden and as always I am joined by a man who is very much a pioneer of the UK Wrestling scene Doug Williams; as well as our special guest for the evening a former WWE divas Champion Layla! Now guys let me be the first to say this is a historic night for the brand as for the first time ever the women of the brand will compete in a UK Rumble for the Women's Championship!

Doug: That's right John! Tonight is going to be an epic. I've got a great feeling about tonight that it will top last week and Travis Banks' jaw dropping victory in the UK Rumble. Plus we don't have to deal with that moronic loudmouth Kennedy tonight. We've upgraded here with a former champion as you mentioned in Layla.

Layla: Thanks for the introduction guys. I'm happy to be here. The WWE gave me the opportunity of a life time and I am forever grateful for that so it's an honor to be back here. If anything the only thing I'm sad about is that I'm unable to get in there and compete myself.

John: Regardless it is great to have you back. Now before we get to the Rumble, I have been told that Joanna Rose is going to be conducting a special interview with the UK Champion Fabian Aichner!

Directing us from the commentary tabe, the cameras then transport us to the top of the entrance ramp itself where Joanna Rose is standing by. With a big smile on her face Joanna takes a moment to greet the fans in attendance before she welcomes her guest for tonight Fabian Aichner. Aichner is met with a heated reaction from the crowd who cannot help but voice their disdain and disrespect for the champion. Yet this doesn't phase the champion who again reminds everyone that he is not here for them. Everything he has done has been for his best interests and his alone.

Remarking that he has been villified for taking UK Wrestling by storm. Fabian Aichner says that the truth is he did not come here to just be a face in the crowd. He was not here to take part instead he was here to take over! Looking at the championship as it rests on his shoulder, Fabian Aichner says he has done everything he says he had because he always believed it was his destiny to be at the top of the mountain. Because of that belief he was willing to do what was necessary to get to the top of it even if he had to push a few people off or trample over them to get there.

Despite the boos from the crowd Aichner continued as he called Travis Banks a stubborn fool who refuses to see that he has already been beaten. Crediting him for his win last week, Aichner almost seems sincere as he says that surviving that was impressive. Yet it has already been proven that Banks cannot survive what Aichner has to offer. Closing out this promo Aichner issues a threat as he says that if people thought he went too far to get here. Than they couldn't imagine what he was willing to do to stay here!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are then taken backstage to the locker room area where a commotion is taking place. As cameras look to get a view of the scene we see medics and officials about while Killer Kelly lays motionless on the canvas. In the distance we see April Davids looking on concerned when she is joined by Wade Barrett. Looking for answers in regards to what has happened Wade doesn't seem impressed as he learns that Kelly has been found laid out backstage. Remarking that Kelly clearly won't be competing in the rumble, Wade remarks that he'll have to talk with Katarina about what to do in regards to that open spot.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Footage then plays from earlier on in what is being shown to be quite the chaotic night. In this footage which was reminiscent of old school NWO, we'd see British Strong Style in the middle of a rampage. Making their arrival to the building and looking to make people suffer we'd immediately see Pete Dunne lay Emil Sitoci to waste with a forearm smash while Tyler Bate double legged and beat down Ashton Smith. Rampage Brown rushed to the scene but he'd be met with a chair to the gut by Trent Seven who then blasted him across the back with it. The trio began to put the boots to Rampage Brown until they would be attacked by A-Kid, Sean Kustom and Jurn Simmons. Unfortunately despite their valiant effort A-Kid would be punished with a piledriver on the floor while Bate spine bustered Kustom through a nearby table. Jurn Simmons began throwing some hands but his legs were taken out with a chop block by Dunne. He was then the receiver of a beating at the hands of British Strong Style until Jordan Devlin rushes to the scene with a Singapore cane. Devlin is swinging the cane wildly at the trio and he is having success until Dunne hurls a trash can at him and it hits him on the back. Dropping the cane Devlin steps forward into a nasty chair shot over the head by Trent Seven! Jordan collapses to the ground and he takes a beating from British Strong Style until finally security are able to get this wild situation under control!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

John: I think it is safe to say that tonight has been a chaotic one. But now we are about to make history with the UK Women's Rumble.

Doug: 30 women are set to compete for the UK Women's Championship and I got to be honest while everyone wants the title in their possession. I'm not entirely sure that having to defend your championship against Meiko Satomura is a grand prize. She is a dangerous woman and having to do your defense off this against her is not a prize.

John: I can see what you mean there Doug. Layla what are your thoughts on the match?

Layla: Words can not do justice to how much I'm looking forward to this. This is going to be a great match with some high stakes. So who are we picking here guys?

Doug: Honestly we saw it last week so I say history repeats and Rhea Ripley gets the win. She has been on a tear and has looked better than ever. I cannot see anyone stopping her despite the number 1 entrant slot.

John: Rhea is a good call but for similar reasons based on dominance alone I have to go with Jazzy Gabert. No one has been able to withstand the Alpha Female since she has come to the UK Brand.

Layla: For me I'm going to say as much as I love the champion Tegan Nox. That I think Jinny will finally get her clutches on the title. She's conniving and always seems to have some tricks up her sleeve.

John: Well now is our time to find out just who will win the UK Women's Rumble and hold the women's championship. Can Tegan Nox retain against all odds? Let's find out now.

Main Event: UK Women's Rumble - UK Women's Championship

Shepherd: Ladies and Gentleman, it is now time for the UK Women's Rumble. This match will be for the UK Women's Championship and it will begin with the women who drew entrants 1 and 2 respectively. Elimination can only occur when a participant is thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. Introducing participant number 1 Rhea Ripley!

There are boos from the crowd as the announcement is made and a fired up Rhea Ripley is pacing back and forth in her corner.

Shepherd: Now introducing the participant who drew entrant number 2 Dahlia Black!

There is some slight applause for Dahlia Black who is jumping up and down in her corner as she is ready to go.

    Entrant #1 Rhea Ripley
Entrant #2 "South Pacific Phenom" Dahlia Black

The bell rings to start the match and immediately Rhea Ripley and Dahlia Black meet in the center of the ring. Punches are thrown back and forth by the two before Black ducks a clothesline attempt by Rhea. Turning round Rhea is met with a dropkick by Dahlia which backs her up onto the ropes. Charging at Rhea, Dahlia is backdropped over the top rope but finds her footing on the apron. After hitting Rhea with a punch, Dahlia looks to spring into the ring but as she flies back into the ring she is caught with a nasty boot to the jaw! Black is motionless on the canvas and Rhea drags her to her feet before tossing her out of the ring! Dahlia Black has been eliminated! 5..4...3...2..1

Entrant #3 "The Lancashire Terrier" April Davids

Charging down to the ring April Davids on sliding through the ropes takes the fight right to Rhea Ripley. Heavy punches are traded back and forth before Davids manages to double leg takedown Rhea Ripley. Mounting Rhea, April connects with several punches before Ripley gives up her back and Davids attacks looking for a choke. However the power of Ripley comes into play here as she climbs to her feet with April on her back before she falls backwards crushing Davids beneath her. Rolling to her feet, Ripley then stomps down on the head of the winded Davids until she looks to be knocked out and she drags her to her feet before pressing her over her shoulders and dumping her out the ring. April Davids had been eliminated! 5...4...3...2...1

    Entrant #4 "Fearless" Charlie Morgan

The crowd cheers as Charlie Morgan runs down to the ring as Rhea Ripley waits on. Hopping up onto the apron Charlie springs in looking for a clothesline on Ripley. Rhea ducks under and hits the ropes before running off looking for a boot. Morgan side steps and sweeps out Ripley's legs before she attempts a superkick. Ripley side steps the superkick and she is able to drive Morgan down into the canvas with a back suplex. Dragging Morgan to her feet Ripley then follows up with the riptide in the center of the ring before she easily throws her out of the ring. Charlie Morgan has been eliminated! 5...4...3...2..1

Entrant #5 "Angel of the North" Little Miss Roxxy

While a smug Ripley stands in the ring with the crowd raining down boos on her, an anxious Little Miss Roxxy comes down to the ring. Once she is in the ring Roxxy appears to look to stick and move against the dominant force that is Rhea Ripley. While in the early going it appears she may have some success, all it took was one little mistake on a failed enzugiri attempt and we'd see Rhea begin to spin her round in a painful looking inverted cloverleaf like submission. Her power on full display Rhea kept hold of the hold as she hoisted Roxxy over the top rope and simply let go leading to her crashing onto the apron before hitting the floor. Little Miss Roxxy has been eliminated! 5...4...3....2...1

    Entrant #6 Kasey Owens

As the commentary team cannot help but rave about the sheer dominance of Rhea Ripley so far. Kasey Owens has the unenviable task of being the next entrant. Without any intimidation Kasey Owens hits the ring and she begins to take the fight to Rhea Ripley. This would be until Kasey attempted a tilt a whirl and Rhea was able to catch her midway through before hoisting her in the air and looking for a stalling suplex. Owens drops down behind and she is able to trap Rhea in a cobra clutch! The crowd cheers as the hold is on tight until Rhea runs into the turnbuckle and drops down leading to Kasey hitting the turnbuckle face first. Staggering back Owens is blasted with a big boot to the jaw by Ripley as the countdown begins. 5...4...3...2...1!

    Entrant #7 Katarina Leigh

The building becomes unglued as the UK Brand's General Manager Katarina Leigh runs down to the ring. Rhea Ripley seems to be in a state of shock as the GM hits the ring with a fury and to a loud pop from the crowd she takes her down to the mat. Leigh is like a woman possessed and she begins to beat the hell out of Rhea Ripley. Rhea throws Katarina off her as she staggers to her feet but once she is up she is still reeling as Katarina launches herself at Rhea with a big cactus clothesline sending both women toppling over the ropes and out to the floor! Rhea Ripley has been eliminated! Katarina Leigh has been eliminated! Despite the elimination, Katarina Leigh does not stop as she continues to batter Rhea Ripley through the crowd before disappearing backstage as the countdown begins. 5...4...3...2...1

    Entrant #8 Shazza McKenzie

With only Kasey Owens in the ring the veteran Shazza McKenzie rushes down. These two women as the commentary team would explain have quite a history despite being friends. This is why after they shake hands with one another they get right to work on one another. After some back and forth action in the early going both women are quick to nearly catch one another in their trademark submissions being the cobra clutch for Owens and the chickenwing for McKenzie. As the countdown began however we'd see both women lay one another out with a double clothesline. 5...4...3...2...1

    Entrant #9 Bea Priestley

There are some boos from the crowd as Bea Priestley rushes down to the ring and like a jackal sensing her prey is weak she puts the boots to both Shazza and Kasey while they are down on the canvas. With the crowd booing her Bea takes a moment to mouth off before she lifts Shazza to her feet and throws her over the ropes. Much to Bea's frustration however Shazza lands on the apron before rolling back into the ring. Turning her attention to Kasey, Bea backs her up into the corner and then tries to muscle her over the top rope. As she does this the countdown clock begins yet again. 5...4...3...2...1

Entrant #10 "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazo

We are now a third of the way through thanks to the arrival of the Virtuosa. As she gets into the ring we see Kasey Owens wobble Bea with a forearm smash and this allows Deonna to take Bea down to the canvas before clamping on a signature fujiwara armbar. The crowd in attendance cheers as Priestley can be heard screaming out in pain until Shazza McKenzie kicks Deonna across the back. While Shazza then begins to target Bea Priestley, we see Kasey Owens start to pummell the downed Deonne Purrazo. 5...4....3....2...1

    Entrant #11 Xia Brookside

The crowd boos as Xia Brookside runs down to the ring and once she is in the ring, Xia immediately makes her presence felt by ducking a clothesline from Kasey before meeting her with a single knee face buster. With Owens down, Brookside follows up with a second single knee face buster onto Shazza McKenzie. Picking her spots Xia waits for Purrazo to get to her feet before going for a third face buster but Purrazo catches her and takes her down to the canvas before catapulting her into the turnbuckles face first. Xia looks dazed when a big superkick by Priestley sends her tumbling through the ropes and to the floor. 5...4...3..2...1

    Entrant #12 Nina Samuels

The brash Nina Samuels is next out and we immediately see the crafty side to her nature as she pulls Deonna out under the ropes and throws her into the ring steps. Climbing into the ring Nina and Bea appear to form an alliance as the two start to put the boots to Shazza McKenzie in the corner. This is until Kasey Owens intercepts and attempts a german suplex on Priestley. Bea fires with a back elbow which staggers Kasey and we see Nina follow up with a boot to Kasey's face. However as both she and Bea turn back round they are taken out with a split legged dropkick by Shazza McKenzie. 5..4....3...2..1

    Entrant #13 "Session Moth" Martina

With entrant number 13 the bar is now open and the party has gotten started. Making her way through the crowd in an entrant reminiscent of the Sandman in ECW, we see Martina chugging cans and firing herself up with the rabid crowd in attendance. Climbing the guard rail Martina sees Xia Brookside charging at her and she spits a beer in her face to a pop from the crowd. From here Martina gets in the ring with a beer in hand and she takes a moment to chug it before ducking a clothesline from Shazza and connecting with a stunner! A big stunner to Bea Priestley then follows as the crowd shower Martina with appreciation. This is until she is speared by Deonna Purazzo. 5...4....3...2...1

    Entrant #14 Lana Austin

As Lana Austin hits the ring, it appears that any alliance between Bea Priestley and Nina Samuels is dead in the water as Nina blindsides Bea with a forearm smash. From here Nina begins to work over Kasey Owens in the corner while Lana Austin on entering the ring catches Deonna Purazzo with a head scissors. A dropkick to Martina then follows before Lana climbs the turnbuckles. A daring move given the situation, Lana sees Nina run at her and she leaps over her and wipes out both Kasey Owens and Shazza McKenzie with a crossbody block. Once she rolls to her feet Lana lets out a scream before she comes face to face with Nina. 5...4...3...2...1

    Entrant #15 "The Fashionista" Jinny

There are boos from the crowd as Jinny hits the ring. Once the unpopular Fashionista is in the ring she finds herself facing off with both Lana and Nina who in the commentators words will be looking to make their name by eliminating someone like Jinny. However this soon changes when Jinny raises her hand and snaps her fingers. In a shocking move Lana and Nina nod their heads before they begin attacking the other competitors in the match under Jinny's orders. Like a snake coiled and ready to strike it doesn't take long for Jinny to claim her first victim as she dumps Shazza McKenzie out of the ring. Shazza McKenzie has been eliminated! The crowd boos loudly as Jinny and her allies then set their sights on Bea Priestley. The touch of couture is all she wrote for Bea before Jinny throws her out of the ring. Bea Priestley has been eliminated! 5...4...3...2..1

    Entrant #16 Candice LeRae

Running down to the ring to a big pop Candice LeRae does not look to be intimidated by the numbers game in the ring when she is blindsided at ringisde by Xia Brookside. The crowd boos as Xia rolls back into the ring and throws Martina to Jinny and her pack of wolves. Martina is unable to bear with the numbers game and after a touch of couture, Jinny tosses her out of the ring. Martina has been eliminated! Looking to reconnect with her former employer Xia then looks to grab Kasey who instead counters and hip tosses Xia over the top rope and out of the ring. Xia Brookside has been eliminated! Unfortunately for Kasey within the next second she is dumped out of the ring herself by Jinny! Kasey Owens has been eliminated! 5...4...3...2..1

Entrant #17 "The Amazing Grace" Sadie Gibbs

As Sadie Gibbs heads to the ring we see that the match has remaining Deonna Purazzo, Nina Samuels, Lana Austin, Jinny and Candice LeRae. With Candice still laid out at ringside and Deonna being met with a touch of couture in the ring. Sadie is a woman on her own as she tries to combat Jinny, Nina and Lana. Despite the numbers game Sadie has a couple of impressive moments thanks to her athleticism and power until a high low combination by Nina and Lana lays her out. This allows Jinny to dump her out of the ring. Sadie Gibbs has been eliminated! The crowd boos as Jinny and her team stand tall until Candice LeRae springs into the ring with a dropkick on Lana. This allows Deonna to hit Nina with a flying knee strike. However as Candice gets to her feet Jinny shoves Deonna into her and the two clash heads before Jinny tosses out Deonna. Deonna Purazzo has been eliminated! 5...4...3...2..1

    Entrant #18 Valkyrie

Candice is in a 3 on 1 situation as Valkyrie hits the ring in an effort to even the odds. Meeting Jinny head on Valkyrie hits her with a few strikes before she hits the ropes. But as she runs off Jinny connects with the touch of couture kick laying her out. With a look of contempt on her face, Jinny throws Valkyrie out of the ring to boos. Valkyrie has been eliminated! Now on her own Candice still tries to valiantly fight against the numbers as she lays out Lana with a superkick but a clothesline across the back of the head by Nina puts her down on the canvas. Jinny and Nina then begin to stomp away on Candice before Jinny demands they toss her out. Dragging Candice to her feet, Jinny and Nina then begin pushing her over the ropes as the countdown begins. 5...4...3...2..1

Entrant #19 "The One Woman Army" Lizzy Styles

The crowd boos as Lizzy Styles comes down to the ring mouthing off on her entire way. As she reaches the ringside area, Lizzy sees Candice still fighting off Jinny, Nina and Lana until they get her out on the apron. Ever the opportunist Lizzy pulls Candice by her feet off the apron and to the floor! Candice LeRae has been eliminated! The crowd erupts into boos as Lizzy smugly begins waving at Candice and shouting for her to go back to NXT. This is until Candice decks her with a big punch and throws her into the ring. In a dazed state Lizzy staggers to her feet and turns to find herself surrounded by Jinny, Nina and Lana. Despite her attempts to form a team falling on death ears, Lizzy is persistent until she cheap shots Jinny. Yet this leads to her becoming the latest victim of a 3 on 1 beating until Jinny throws her out of the ring. Lizzy Styles has been eliminated! 5..4...3...2...1

Entrant #20 "The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard" Tegan Nox

To the delight of the crowd the champion Tegan Nox herself is the next to enter the match as we hit the two thirds mark. On her way down to the ring Tegan looks to be well aware of the odds against her before she slides under the ropes. Once she is up Tegan sees both Nina and Lana charging at her for a double clothesline and she ducks down before shocking backdropping both women over the top rope and out to the floor! Nina Samuels has been eliminated! Lana Austin has been eliminated! The crowd are on their feet while a horrified Jinny backs up in shock. Tegan Nox can be heard uttering it is just them now and Jinny charges her only to be goozled and met with a chokeslam. With the crowd on their feet still, Tegan motions for the shining wizard as the countdown begins. 5...4...3...2..1

Entrant #21 Piper "The Viper" Niven

Piper Niven is the next entrant and it appears the champion is taking her very seriously as she backs up into a corner while Piper charges to the ring. Once in the ring Niven faces off with Tegan until she turns her attention to Jinny. Ever the businesswoman Jinny attempts to make a deal with Piper possibly recruiting her to her side. Much to the crowd's chagrin Niven looks to be considering it as she advances to Tegan before turning roung and clobbering Jinny with a clothesline. Jinny is dazed as she staggers to her feet and Niven follows up with a Michinoku driver! Dragging the lifeless Jinny to her feet Niven tosses her out of the ring with ease. Jinny has been eliminated! 5...4...3...2...1

    Entrant #22 Toni Storm

Before Niven and Nox can face off they are soon joined in the ring by the ever popular Toni Storm. These three women very much tease a face off of their own before getting the battle underway. Despite the mutual respect between all three women, Nox and Storm form a union against the powerhouse Niven only to have her lay them out with a double clothesline. A big senton by Niven across the mid section of Storm follows before she attempts a Michinoku driver onto Tegan. However the champion is able to drop behind before she connects with a standing shining wizard which stuns Niven and backs her into the corner. 5..4...3...2...1

Entrant #23 "La Bomba Psicotica" Aivil

Aivil hits the ring and living up to her moniker she goes right after the largest woman in the match Niven. Working her over with some punches, Aivil is soon struck down by a back fist by Piper. Storm meanwhile is battling it out with Nox and blocks a chokeslam attempt before hoisting her onto her shoulders and driving her into the canvas with a death valley driver. Storm and Niven then face off with Storm throwing punches to the body while Piper hits her across the back. This is until Niven drives her into the canvas with a black hole slam. As she climbs back to her feet Niven sees the countdown beginning and waits for the next entrant. 5..4...3...2..1

Entrant #24 "The Alpha Female" Jazzy Gabert

The Alpha Female emerges from the back and she hits the ring with a purpose as Niven waves her on. These two titans face off but before either can make a move Aivil charges and attacks both of them. Throwing some wild punches Aivil's momentum is cut off when Jazzy snatches her by the throat and throws her over the ropes and to the floor. Aivil has been eliminated! Niven and Gabert square off and punches are thrown back and forth before Gabert hits the ropes. Running off Gabert is crushed with a crossbody by Niven. A senton follows before Piper hoists her in the air and drives her into the canvas with a Michinoku Driver. Niven is fired up as she climbs to her feet and lets out a roar yet in the background we see a seething Jazzy climb to her feet. Piper then turns round and is goozled before being driven into the canvas with a powerslam. From here Jazzy follows up by easily throwing her out of the ring. Piper Niven has been eliminated! 5..4...3..2..1

    Entrant #25 Ruby Riott

Ruby Riott is the next woman in and understandably she doesn't seem to be in any rush as we see Jazzy standing by waiting for her. Tegan Nox and Toni Storm attempt to take the fight to her but Gabert levels them both with clotheslines. From here Gabert attempts a powerbomb on Storm when Riott comes into the ring with a missile dropkick. Gabert steps back and Nox connects with a shining wizard bringing Jazzy closer to the ropes yet as Ruby, Toni and Tegan try for an elimination they are thrown back by Jazzy. From here the Alpha Female absolutely destroys Ruby with a clothesline spinning her in the air. 5...4...3...2..1

Entrant #26 "The first 21st century badass" Millie McKenzie

As Millie McKenzie hits the ring we see Jazzy drive both Nox and Storm into the canvas with a double chokeslam. Once she is in the ring Millie goes right after Jazzy but this backfires as Gabert easily hoists her onto her shoulder in a back breaker rack position. As she is getting crushed Millie fires off some elbows to Jazzy's head and drops behind her before shockingly she lands a big german suplex. The crowd are on their feet as Gabert looks stunned from the blow. A second big German follows and Jazzy definitely looks dazed as Millie then is able to flip her over the ropes and out onto the floor. Jazzy Gabert has been eliminated! McKenzie is met with a massive pop from the crowd as she stands tall in the ring only to be blindsided by Ruby Riott. 5...4...3...2...1

Entrant #27 "Portugals Perfect Athlete" Shanna

While Ruby Riott begins stomping away on Millie McKenzie, Shanna runs down to the ring and once she is in the ring we get a face off which is a year in the making. Coming face to face with Tegan Nox, the UK Women's tournament finalists are met with a pop from the crowd before they begin hammering each other with strikes. This is until Toni Storm enters the fray with a dropkick on the champion. Storm and Shanna then go at it with Shanna attempting to hit the dragon slayer but Toni is able to spin out and hit a DDT. Once Storm gets to her feet however she becomes Ruby Riott's latest blind side. With Storm staggered Ruby tried for the riot kick but Toni was able to side step. As Ruby rolled to her feet Toni snatched her by the hair and tossed her out of the ring! Ruby Riott has been eliminated! 5..4...3...2...1

    Entrant #28 Kay Lee Ray

With Kay Lee Ray running to the ring Toni has her eyes fully focused on her rival. These two women with noted bad blood immediately begin to go right after one another with punches as they go from one side of the ring to another. Meanwhile Millie McKenzie would introduce Tegan Nox and Shanna to her suplexes as she threw them all over the ring to a pop from the crowd. Continuing to impress Millie then turned her attention to Kay Lee Ray and drove her into the canvas with an exploder suplex. From here she'd follow up with a overhead belly to belly on Toni Storm. Having thrown everyone around the ring Millie would eagerly wait on for the next entrant. 5...4...3...2...1

Entrant #29 "The Captain of Team Kick" Dakota Kai

Dakota Kai hits the ring to a cheer from the crowd and she faces off with Millie McKenzie. These two former friends nod at one another before they begin to do battle. Kai throws several kicks Millie's way but Millie is able to avoid them before she snatches Kai up and throws her to the canvas with a german suplex. Climbing to her feet Millie is fired up and basks in the cheers of the crowd when she turns into a chokeslam from Tegan Nox! McKenzie is down and Nox pulls her to her feet before she throws her over the ropes. Miraculously McKenzie is able to land on the apron but sadly as she gets to her feet she is blasted with a knee strike by Kai sending her falling to the floor! Millie McKenzie has been eliminated! 5...4..3...2...1

    Entrant #30 Emma

The crowd are in shock as the 30th and final entrant in the match is the returning Emma. Slowly walking down to the ring Emma appears to be in no rush as she declares it's all about her. Once she is in the ring we are now down to 6 with only Tegan Nox, Toni Storm, Shanna, Kay Lee Ray, Dakota Kai and Emma vying for the UK Women's Championship. Everyone pairs off and begins doing battle and to no surprise we see Kay Lee Ray battling it out with Toni Storm while Shanna and Tegan begin to get their rematch. This leaves Dakota Kai against Emma and while Emma may have been given some cheers during her entrance, she soon earns jeers from the crowd after cheap shotting Kai to take the lead.

Firing back Kai manages to rock Emma with a superkick and this backs her up into the corner. A running kick to the cornered Emma follows before Kai motions for the Kai-Ropractor. Yet as she runs off the ropes she is met with the spotlight kick by Emma. With Kai stunned, Emma takes full advantage and is able to toss her out of the ring! Dakota Kai has been eliminated! As Emma takes a moment to observe the landscape we see Shanna and Tegan battling in one corner until Shanna drives her into the canvas with a hurricanrana. Taking advantage of this moment Emma tosses Shanna into the ring post.

On the otherside of the ring Kay Lee Ray having gotten the better of her foe attempted for a gory bomb on Storm. Toni would block it however before she was able to drive Kay Lee Ray into the canvas with a storm zero. The crowd cheers as Toni gets to her feet when Emma charges her but Storm backdrops her out of the ring to a loud pop. Emma has been eliminated! From here Toni sets her sights on Kay Lee Ray and would begin to dump her out of the ring. But as Toni had her out on the apron, Shanna was able to creep up behind and flip Toni out along with Kay Lee Ray! Kay Lee Ray has been eliminated! Toni Storm has been Eliminated!

We are now down to two and what a two it is as Shanna and Tegan Nox stand across from one another. Despite both showing some effects of the knocks they had taken in the match. Similar to their epic for the women's title, both women feel one another out in the early going before they begin kicking it up a notch. As we also know however both women know one another well and because of this we see a lot of counter wrestling to each other's best moves.

Both would have some close calls for eliminations throughout but neither seemed to truly get the better of each other until Tegan tried for a chokeslam. Shanna blocked it and caught Nox off guard with a chokeslam of her own. With Tegan reeling Shanna then followed up with a shining wizard in a shocking moment. The champion hurt, Shanna looked to put her away with the Dragon Slayer only for Nox to back drop her to the canvas. Clutching her back as she climbs to her feet, Shanna narrowly avoids a shining wizard from Nox.

A big punch by Shanna followed before she attempted a hangman's neck breaker. Spinning out Nox went for a chickenwing facebuster similar to their first match but Shanna had it scouted and rolled through leaving Tegan draped on the middle rope. A tiger feint kick by Shanna followed. Tegan staggers back and Shanna then springs into the ring with a dropkick onto the champion. Taking a deep breath, Shanna then readies Tegan again for the Dragon Slayer but Nox this time counters and spins out before she blasts Shanna with a enzugiri to the head. Shanna is dazed and falls to a knee before Nox again goes for the shining wizard. Shanna ducks her head ready to go under but Tegan is ready for the counter and stops behind Shanna before spinning her round and hitting the canadian destroyer! The crowd are on their feet as Nox slowly drags Shanna to her feet and then tosses her out of the ring!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion Tegan Nox!

Falling to her knees as tears stream down her face. Tegan Nox is jubilant as she slowly gets back to her feet and is presented with her championship. Holding it high in the air, Nox is greated with a huge reaction from the crowd as she begins her celebration.

John: What a match and what a performance there by Tegan Nox!

Doug: if we have learned anything these past weeks it's that you can't predict anything. Who'd have thought Nox would be able to overcome such a challenge as that!

Layla: She is one hell of a champion. There is no denying that.

Doug: and now we know that it will be Tegan Nox who defends her championship against Meiko Satomura at the UK Showcase.

John: Well Ladies and Gentleman that is all we have time for tonight. But I want to thank you all for tuning in tonight and hope you'll be back for next week's action on the UK Brand!

    Post UK Women's Rumble news/stats

    - It is said that following the UK Women's Rumble, there is a call by some to perhaps make Deonna Purazzo an official member of the UK Brand for the time being. Reports indicate that she has many fans backstage and that her strong showing definitely indicates future appearances.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 077 ~ Here comes the Sun
    25/4/19
    Bristol, England

Monster's by Shinedown plays as the latest edition of the WWE United Kingdom Brand opens up from Bristol in England. Kicking things off this week is a video package set to SVRCINA's Meet me on the Battlefield as we see clips of last week's Women's UK Rumble. Many highlights focused on include Rhea Ripley's early domination before she would find herself confronted by the surprising entrant of our general manager Katarina Leigh. From here we'd see the unveiling of Jinny's new house of Couture comprised of Lana Austin and Nina Samuels before focus would turn to the dominating performances put in by Piper Niven and Jazzy Gabert. The video would then end with a victorious Tegan Nox standing tall in the ring having retained her championship. With that this latest show opens up and we see at commentary is not just Doug Williams and John Gooden but their newest colleague James R Kennedy who doesn't take long to make his presence felt thanks to his brash nature. After a rather heated hype job of tonight's show, Doug sends us to the ring as we will hear from Travis Banks!

Standing in the ring wearing a dark grey hooded top and black sweat pants, Travis Banks despite his massive victory two weeks ago seems to be all business. As he talks about his performance in the UK Rumble, Travis calls it one of the proudest moments in his career to not only have such an accolade on his resume but also to have truly overcame the odds by being the first entrant and outlasting 29 of the UK Brand's best talents. Remarking that since day one of his career, he has been all about survival, heart and determination. Travis continues by stating that despite having his doubters in that match, he never stopped believing that he could win. Just like he never gave up his belief that he could win the UK Championship from Pete Dunne months back and just like he refuses to give up his belief that he can take his championship back now!

Changing the subject towards the future, Travis Banks says that he knows when it comes to the UK Showcase that he has a mountain in his way. Admitting that he does not nor ever will like Fabian Aichner as a person. Travis says at the same time he recognizes just how skilled and talented of a competitor Fabian is in this ring. Which in Travis' mind will be the key difference this time around from their previous matches. As he now knows not too underestimate or go in too emotional against Fabian Aichner. Because in Banks' words while Aichner maybe well verse in the art of a cheap shot or a blind side, he is also dangerous in straight up competition which is what Banks is going to make their next match as. Not a straight up brawl or war, instead he will treat it as any other match and he will be the two time UK Champion because of that strategy.

The crowd cheers for Travis until much to his and their chagrin, Wade Barrett walks out onto the ramp. Despite the documented issues between the two, Wade seems to be in good spirits as he begins by applauding Banks and asking the crowd to join him in doing so out of respect for his performance in the UK Rumble. Admitting that he and Banks have not always seen eye to eye and that Banks has at times been a source of frustration and irritation for him. Wade says that regardless of that he has always admired and respected Banks' abilities in the ring and his victory in the UK Rumble despite the odds against him was highly impressive. In fact Wade admits that Banks more than impressing him also surprised him by winning.

Of course Wade similar to Banks then begins to address the rematch between Travis Banks and Fabian Aichner. Admitting that a third match between the two is not a bout he really had in mind to headline this UK Showcase. Barrett comments that regardless Banks' impressive victory means that he will honor the terms. However he will not allow Banks and Aichner to continue to hold the championship hostage. This is why if Banks loses at the UK Showcase, he will not be recieving another opportunity at the UK Championship for the duration of Aichner's reign. The crowd in attendance erupts into boos on this announcement while Wade looks on. Showing no fear or hesitation, Banks counters that one more shot is all he needs to get his championship back!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taking us backstage the cameras direct us towards the locker room area where a confrontation is taking place. This is between Adam Brooks and Kyle Fletcher. As we'd soon learn from their conversation, both men were friends at one stage. Talking openly about their past, Kyle cannot help but express his disappointment in Adam for taking a short cut and aligning himself with someone like Shane Thorne to be apart of the UK Brand. Brooks counters that he did what he had to in order to get here because he didn't have some mentor for himself like Kyle did with Mark. Countering that just because he maybe aligned with Thorne, Brooks says he himself hasn't changed and he is more than capable of handing his business in the ring. Nodding his head Kyle agrees and challenges Brooks to a match for later on tonight which Brooks accepts.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match One: Cara Noir vs Morgan Webster

The opening bout of the night gave us our first look into the transformation of Cara Noir. The former Thomas Dawkins very much had undergone a complete transformation from his theatrical entrance to his overwhelmingly vicious in ring style. Morgan Webster looked to fight off his opponent but Noir's mind games and nasty kicks rendered Morgan helpless until Cara Noir spiked him into the canvas with a brainbuster for the victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Cara Noir!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Cara Noir brutally continues to batter Webster with punches and forearms. The referee tries to pull Noir off but he is laid out by Noir in response. Before more damage can be done however, Kenny Williams runs down to the ring. Cara Noir is quick to make an escape from the ring while Kenny checks on the downed Webster. With a glare Kenny looks up at Noir who backs his way through the crowd without any expression on his face.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Post show footage from last week is then played and it continues to show what went on between
Rhea Ripley and Katarina Leigh. As Katarina attacks Rhea in the backstage area, the pair are finally seperated by security and officials. A livid Rhea Ripley in between hurling insults at Katarina, begins to issue threats that she will make Katarina pay for this. Katarina however counters that Rhea Ripley will be the one to pay for her mistakes. As she has pushed Katarina too far and will find that she has crossed someone she really shouldn't have messed with!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From here we go to the corridor of the building where
Michael OKU is standing by. Despite not being victorious in the rumble, OKU is thrilled to be apart of the UK Brand and is excited to show what he can do. Excited about his future with the brand Michael OKO begins to talk about what he wants to accomplish as part of the brand when he finds himself interupted by Spike Trivet. The snobbish and ignorant Trivet would throw some money OKU's way to get him out of shot so that he could take this promo time. This disrespect didn't at all sit well with OKU who shoved Trivet back. Not a fan in the slightest of the attitude on display, OKU instead calls out Trivet for a match next week. With an arrogant smirk, Trivet accepts the challenge.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A post show promo from last week is then played and it focuses on a livid
Jinny returning backstage with Lana Austin and Nina Samuels. Jinny is livid as she begins to express her disgust at the travesty which was the women's UK Rumble. Her blame firmly is placed on the shoulders of Piper Niven who she accuses of not knowing her place in the UK Brand. Telling her that there is a pecking order here and that it starts with her at the front and then everyone else beneath her, Jinny ends this promo by promising Niven that soon she will force her to recognize her place in this world.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match Two: Steve Xavier vs Wolfgang

After his strong showing in the UK Rumble, Steve Xavier looked to get his first victory tonight as he took on Wolfgang. This match was a brutal, hard hitting collision between both men as it seemed neither had an issue with bending the rules. Towards the end of the bout it seemed a turning point was when Wolfgang attempted the howling off the apron to the floor on Xavier. Only for Steve to roll out of the way and Wolfgang to crash and burn. From here Xavier took over the bout before eventually he'd finish off Wolfgang with a double underhook piledriver.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Steve Xavier!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Steve Xavier gets to his feet in the ring. Xavier doesn't look to be finished however as he leaves the ring and grabs a chair before he can return to the ring however, Steve is confronted by Tyson T-Bone and the two men staredown before Steve drops the chair and makes his exit.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the big screen we then see footage from earlier in the day as the cameras focus on
Toni Storm in catering when she comes face to face with Kay Lee Ray. To say things are tense between these two rivals is an understatement as they blame one another for their eliminations in the rumble itself. Each having beaten one another previously, but definitely with business to settle it seems that they might take their rematch on one another now. Yet cooler heads do seem to prevail as both women back up before agreeing that they will be settling this once and for all soon.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After her big win last week the UK Women's Champion
Tegan Nox is now standing by with Joanna Rose for an exclusive interview. Very happy with herself after her big victory and as well for retaining her championship. Nox in this interview would then begin to speak of her upcoming match with Meiko Satomura. Calling this match a dream come true against one of her idols. Tegan is full of respect for Meiko but she also admits that the she knows the battle will be a tough one which she cannot take lightly. However before her interview can continue, Tegan would find herself confronted by Deonna Purazzo. Revealing that she has signed a contract to be apart of the UK Brand, the Virtuosa very much looks to be eyeing up the champion and her title. Filled with a confidence Purazzo follows by stating that she is here simply to win that title and she is here to stake her claim by challenging Nox to a non title match for next week. Nox nods her head in agreement and she accepts the challenge laid by Purazzo.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before we can return to the ring, we are taken to the gorilla position where
Mark Andrews is in the middle of warming up for his match. This is until he is confronted by his opponent Timothy Thatcher. Thatcher looks down his nose at Mark Andrews as he talks about their match next. Remarking that Andrews has gotten his wish and the two will finally have their match. Commenting that he will actually go out of his way to put his title on the line, Thatcher remarks that he is doing this to show that he is a true champion and will face anyone. As Andrews nods his head, Thatcher offers him a handshake which Mark accepts however Thatcher pulls him in for a headbutt. Andrews backs up and Tim blasts him with the title! Before officials and security can hit the scene, Thatcher mounts Andrews and beats him with several punches until he is pulled off of Mark. Once he is to his feet Thatcher declares he'll see Mark in the ring.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match Three: Timothy Thatcher vs Mark Andrews - Commonwealth Championship

While there was some doubts from the commentary team about whether Mark Andrews could compete, to his credit the Welshman was not about to let injury stop him. Unfortunately the assault he had suffered prior to the match hampered him badly. This allowed Timothy Thatcher to torture him all across the fifteen minute time limit. As the match wore on however, Thatcher appeared to be showing some frustration at the fact that while he could hurt Andrews, he could not quite finish the job. In fact much to the surprise of everyone despite being clamped in a tight dragon sleeper complete with a body scissors, Mark Andrews was able to survive to the end of the time limit.

Shepherd: This match is a time limit draw!

Despite the result being announced Timothy Thatcher would not release the hold. Cranking on it until Andrews went limp, Thatcher climbed to his feet and swiped the microphone from the announcer. With it in his hands, Thatcher followed by announcing in a surprising declaration that in the event of a draw, the match has an added five minutes.

Timothy Thatcher vs Mark Andrews - 5 More Minutes

The crowd voices their disgust while both John Gooden and Doug Williams voice their disapproval. James R Kennedy meanwhile praises Thatcher as a champion for offering Andrews this courtesy. Continuing to punish Mark, Thatcher batters him with forearm strikes before dragging him to his feet and trapping his arms by his side before repeatedly headbutting a defenseless Andrews. After one particularly nasty headbutt puts Mark down on the floor, Thatcher makes a cover. 1...2...3.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Timothy Thatcher!

The crowd erupts into boos as the announcement is made and Timothy Thatcher climbs to his feet in the ring. Placing his foot on the chest of Mark Andrews, Thatcher has his arm raised by a reluctant referee before he continues his celebration.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Returning backstage we head to outside the arena where a seething
Jazzy Gabert is pacing back and forth. Livid in regards to the UK Women's Rumble, Jazzy as she paces back and forth makes it clear that the target of this rage and anger is Millie McKenzie. Remarking that no one has been able to take her best shots, Jazzy makes it clear that before she simply did what she did to make a statement. Whereas now after the women's rumble she has a target firmly in her sight and she will do everything in her power to leave Millie McKenzie broken!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match Four: Adam Brooks vs Kyle Fletcher

Match four of the night would be a battle between two former friends as Adam Brooks took on Kyle Fletcher. From the early going it was clear that there was a lot of familiarity between the two men as they were able to counter one another from the off. Surprisingly despite his groups tactics Adam Brooks seemed content to play this bout straight on his own back and at one stage he came very close to taking the win thanks to a cradle ddt. Yet as the match progressed it began to seem that Kyle was taking back over after he laid out Brooks with a busiaku knee strike. Climbing the top rope Kyle was perched and looking to end things when Shane Thorne came running down to the ring. Hopping up onto the apron, Thorne looked to distract Fletcher but he was kicked off the apron by Kyle. In the meantime Brooks hopped to his feet and leapt up to the top rope before pulling Fletcher down to the canvas with a leaping reverse STO for the victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Adam Brooks!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Adam Brooks climbs to his feet. Despite his win however Brooks doesn't seem happy with the presence of Shane Thorne at ringside. On his way backstage Brooks can be heard protesting that he wanted to do this on his own.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From here much to the delight of the crowd
Jordan Devlin walks down to the ring before he grabs himself a microphone. Once he is in the ring Jordan Devlin begins to talk about what happened last week as well was the shocking moment when Tyler Bate stabbed him in the back to unite with Pete Dunne and Trent Seven. Admitting he was aware of the history between the men, Jordan Devlin commented that he never in million years expected Tyler Bate to be nothing more than a pussy who was only comfortable with beating people down with his buddies watching his back. Remarking that he knows he and Tyler have had their issues in the past with one another, Jordan still cannot express his surprise at the betrayal of Tyler.

Calling the attack he suffered last week just another piece of proof that Tyler Bate had been lying to us all for a long time. Remarking that Bate's actions have shown him to nothing more than a coward and a bully, he makes it clear that now he is going to give Tyler Bate a chance to prove him wrong. The way he can do so is by coming out right now and fighting him like a man as opposed to blindsiding him. With Jordan waiting on, it doesn't take too long for the British Strong Style theme to play. The crowd in attendance begins to boo loudly as
Tyler Bate walks out onto the ramp on his own with a mic in hand. Bate doesn't look impressed as he looks down to the ring at Jordan. Reminding Jordan that he's constantly been outclassed and beaten by someone Jordan has the gall to brand a coward. Tyler says that last week wasn't a case of Tyler being scared to fight Jordan. Instead it was just a case of him not wanting to give Devlin anymore of his time, so he and his brothers took him out of the equation as quick as possible.

Branding Jordan Devlin a imbecile, Tyler said that he always knew that Jordan wasn't too bright by how he was able to play him. Yet he never realised until now just how deluded Jordan could be. Just then as the cameras pan back we see both
Trent Seven and Pete Dunne hopping the rails before they climb up onto opposite sides of the apron. Bate meanwhile having walked down to the ring now stands in front of Jordan and he says that last week was a message plain and simple not to pick a fight with British Strong Style. Whereas now will be an elimination plain and simple for being dumb enough to come out here alone! Yet before both Seven and Dunne get in the ring, Jordan counters with a statement of his own that this time he didn't.

Just then Trent Seven is pulled down from the ring apron by
Joe Coffey while Pete Seven has the same happen to him by Mark Coffey. The crowd in attendance begins to cheer as the Coffeys batter the tag team champs at ringside while Jordan Devlin snatches Bate down to the canvas with a double leg and begins to pummel him with punches. This is until Bate pokes Devlin in the eye and rolls out to the floor. Hopping the rail Bate soon finds Jordan Devlin in hot pursuit of him while the Coffeys and Trent Seven and Pete Dunne are also now brawling through the crowd. A wild scene with an electric crowd loving every moment of it, as the battle reaches the concessions area several officials and members of security try to break things up but they are laid out themselves while Jordan throws Bate over a merchandise sellers' table.

Joe Coffey meanwhile drove Trent back first into the hot dog cart while we'd see Pete Dunne snatch a fan's beer and throw it in the eyes of Mark Coffey. A big forearm by Dunne knocked Mark down and he'd then jump on the back of Joe Coffey pulling him down to the ground before he'd start firing off some elbows to the head. This was until Jordan Devlin met him with a superkick to the side of the head. Devlin then began to direct his fury at Trent Seven by kicking away at him while Trent remained at the hot dog cart. Tyler Bate meanwhile reentered the frey by throwing a trash can at Mark Coffey. Pete Dunne and Joe Coffey meanwhile would start trading punches until finally a cavalcade of security and officials hit the scene and managed to split up the two opposing factions. Despite their fight being intercepted all 6 men would continue hurling threats and insults at one another as the show comes to a close.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 078 ~ Opus Eponymous
    2/5/19
    Norwich, England

Dark Match: Millie McKenzie defeated Lana Austin

The tune of Monsters by Shinedown plays as this week's edition of the UK Brand begins. Starting things out is a comprehensive recap from the previous edition of the show and there is heavy focus on Travis Banks' promo which ended with an announcement by Wade Barrett regarding this being his lost shot at the title. From here the video shifted to in ring action as we'd see the in ring debuts of both Cara Noir and Steve Xavier. The video of course then culminated with the closing show brawl between British Strong Style and the trio of Jordan Devlin, Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey. With that this week's show officially opened up from Norwich, England. With a raucous crowd in attendance, the first shot of the night takes us to the commentary booth where Doug Williams, John Gooden and James R Kennedy are standing by to hype us up for tonight's show.

Match One: Steve Xavier vs Tyson T-Bone

Kicking us off for the evening would be singles action as Steve Xavier battled Tyson T-Bone. Calling this a match as opposed to a brawl would not do this match justice however as both men spent more time brawling on the outside of the ring than inside. Looking to teach Steve some respect after his actions following his match with Wolfgang the previous week, T-Bone at one stage connected with a big headbutt on Steve which actually caused Xavier's eye to swell. In the end however Steve Xavier showed himself to be an opportunity of the highest order as after causing T-Bone to hurt his own shoulder earlier in the bout by shoving him into the ring post. After pulling his arm across the top rope with force, a cross armbar followed giving Xavier his second victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Steve Xavier!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and after he rolls to his feet he immediately starts to attack his downed opponent. The crowd in attendance is booing loudly when all of a sudden Wolfgang hits the ring. Ducking a boot attempt from Xavier, Wolfgang spins Steve round and backs him to the ropes with punches before a big clothesline follows sending Steve toppling out of the ring. While Steve regroups at ringside, Wolfgang begins to check on the downed T-Bone.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Directing us backstage, the cameras then take us to the GM's office where a heated conversation between Katarina Leigh and Wade Barrett is taking place. This heated debate appears to be all about Katarina's actions as of late in regards to her issues with Rhea Ripley. Demanding answers about what she has been doing, Wade looks to remind Katarina that it was because she was unable to control her emotions in regards to Ripley in the first place that he was brought here. Now instead of learning from her mistakes, Katarina is digging herself deeper into her grave. Before Wade can continue this however, Katarina counters that ever since he has come here she has allowed him a lot of leeway in regards to many of his more questionable decisions. Some of which she would even go as far as to regard aren't for the brand's best interests but are merely for his, now all she asks is for him to give her the same curtesy!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From here footage rolls from earlier on in the night and it shows
Joanna Rose looking to catch word with Kenny Williams. This interview would of course focus heavily on the transformation made by Thomas Dawkins into becoming Cara Noir. Kenny seemed to be very conflicted and troubled by this transformation, because while he'd admit that he always felt like something was a little off with Thomas. He never knew it was something as dark and disturbed as what we have seen from him under this paint and split personality of Cara Noir. Before Joanna can ask anymore questions however Kenny was blindsided by Cara Noir! Falling to the ground Kenny was the recipient of several hard kicks to the gut by Cara before Noir starts slamming the back of Kenny's head into the ground. Having mounted Kenny it seems Cara is about to talk but as he screams in Kenny's face it is the case of a silent scream before he slams Kenny's head into the ground once more and backs up from his motionless victim.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before we return to ringside it would be time for a special edition of a Walk through the Rose Garden as
Joanna Rose would be joined by Deonna Purrazzo. A veteran of independent scene Deonna Purrazzo was the first to admit that for a long time over her career she was merely just happy to be wrestling without a thought of where her career was heading. Admitting this was the case with the Mae Young Classic and she didn't perform as well as she honestly could have. This is why in her arrival to the UK Brand, Deonna wants to make it clear that she isn't here just for the fun of it. Instead she is here now to take what is hers this is why after her performance as part of the UK Rumble, she last week made the most of her first official night with the UK Brand by challenging the Women's Champion Tegan Nox. Admitting that she has respect for the champion, Deonna credits her for her impressive run so far as part of the UK Brand. However that comes to an end tonight because Deonna is going beat Tegan Nox even if she has to break her arm in order to do so!

Match Two: Michael OKU vs Spike Trivet

Match two saw two individuals making their singles debuts as Michael OKU battled Spike Trivet. Unsurprisingly the crowd was unanimously in support of OKU against the snobbish and stuck up Trivet. Throughout the bout we'd see that money can't buy everything as The OJMO proved himself to be an infinitely better wrestler then his foe Trivet. This very much was much to the frustration of Trivet when towards the end of the bout Spike blatantly connected with a low blow onto OKU. As the OJMO fell to the canvas it appeared that referee Chris Roberts was about to call for the disqualification. However in a shocking moment he was intercepted by Trivet who looked to pay the referee off in an effort to forget what he had seen. With the amount promised raising, the referee shockingly made a conclusion that OKU was kicked to the upper thigh as opposed to below the belt. Capitalising on this Trivet caught a kneeling OKU with a DDT driving him into the canvas before making a cover for the unpopular victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Spike Trivet!

The crowd erupts into boos as the announcement is made and Spike Trivet climbs to his feet. Before the booing audience, Spike has his arm raised high in the air before he begins to celebrate his victory.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Following the bout, the cameras direct us yet again to the GM's office where
Wade Barrett is standing by. Seated behind his desk, Wade doesn't look impressed with what he has seen on the TV and he switches it off before he begins to talk to the camera. After he announces that Michael OKU will get another shot against Spike Trivet next week, Wade begins to focus on something which happened last week. Revealing that because of that brawl which ended the show between British Strong Style and the trio of Jordan Devlin, Mark Coffey and Joe Coffey has forced him to make a decision. This is why at the next UK Showcase we will see a 6 man tag team match as British Strong Style battle Jordan Devlin and the Coffey Brothers. Closing this announcement Wade confirms that over the coming weeks 3 singles matches will take place featuring the members of those aforementioned teams and the group which takes the majority of those victories, gets to choose their 6 man tags stipulation.

Making her arrival to the building
Jinny seems to be in a particularly bad mood as her driver forgets to open the door to her car for her to make her exit. While she is in the middle of berating him however, Jinny soon finds herself confronted by Piper Niven. Having heard what Jinny had to say last week, Piper countered that she is not hard to find. Jinny doesn't seem happy with Piper's interuption and as the two face off we see Jinny is soon flanked by Nina Samuels and Lana Austin. Remarking that Jinny only does things on her terms and hers alone, it is with a snap of the finger that her new house attacks Piper Niven. Both Lana and Nina jumped Niven in the hopes to deal out some damage. Yet Niven thanks to her hard hits and power is able to fight off both women at least for a moment until Jinny having wrapped her studded belt was able to connect with a punch right to the back of Niven's head. As Piper fell down to her knees, the trio of Jinny, Nina and Lana put the boots to her until she was down in a heap on the ground. As the group walks off from the scene, Jinny makes the point of walking across her downed victim.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After show footage from last week's edition of the UK Brand is shown and it focuses on a livid
Adam Brooks seeking out answers from Shane Thorne. With both Brendan Vink and Bronson Reed looking on, Brooks wants answers about why Shane got involved in his match. He wouldn't be the only one however as both Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher rushed onto the scene. As Aussie Open confront the Mighty, it is clear that Kyle Fletcher in particular feels that Adam Brooks knew all about Shane Thorne's plans. This is why when the hot headed Aussie Arrow throws the first punch he directs it at Adam Brooks. Unsurprisingly a melee breaks out between both teams and thanks to the numbers game it is the Mighty who gets the better of things, yet as security begins to hit the scene we see that a conflicted Adam Brooks is standing in the distance having not got involved. With security pushing them back, the Mighty take their leave while Fletcher and Davis pull themselves to their feet.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match Three: Jazzy Gabert vs Kanji

A clear case of be careful what you wish for as promising, young woman's wrestler Kanji looked to get some redemption against Jazzy Gabert. However unfortunately for her, the size, force and power of the Alpha Female looked to be way too much for the plucky underdog. After rag dolling Kanji all across the ring, Jazzy seemed to be in no rush to finish things as she planted Kanji down into the canvas with a nasty shoulder breaker. Following up Jazzy finished things off with a torture rack submission which left the referee with no choice but to call for the bell.
Shepherd: And the winner of the match Jazzy Gabert!

Unfortunately while the match was done, Jazzy Gabert was not as she wasn't willing to release the hold. At least this was the case until Millie McKenzie having come through the crowd blasted Jazzy across the back with a steel chair. Releasing her hold and dropping Kanji to the mat, Jazzy slowly turned into a gut shot with the chair. Winded badly from the blow Jazzy backed up to the ropes and as Millie charged her, we'd see Jazzy make a swift exit from the ring narrowly escaping another chair shot. Standing tall in the ring with the chair in hand, Millie shouted for Jazzy to come back and face her while the crowd in attendance cheered.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What then followed would be a special interview segment titled face to face. In a dimly lit room, we would see sat across from one another at a table were both
Toni Storm and Kay Lee Ray while sat between them was John Gooden. This tense face to face would bring a lot to light between the pair as we'd learn from them both that many years ago they was in fact the best of friends. In fact it was Kay Lee who said that when she first met Toni as a young Aussie who'd moved to the UK, it was the duos combined wrestling fandom which made them like sisters. Commenting that when Toni began to have success in the WWE, Kay Lee was happy for her. Admitting she was proud of her friend to do some great things until fame and success got to Toni's head.

Branding Toni Storm a selfish, entitled, bratty bitch who thinks she deserves the world. Kay Lee Ray calls herself a cold dose of reality who is here to prove that while Toni might have all the success, she is still the same intimidated little fish out of water who Kay Lee took under her wing. In response to this Toni begins to tell her side of the story in a more different light however, remarking that yes her and Kay Lee Ray went a long way back. Toni's version of history tells a much darker story in that yes for a time her and Kay Lee Ray were friends until they got into the business. Admitting that time changes everyone, Toni said that in the early days Kay Lee Ray was the success story and it was her who took the darker turn and made everything all about her. This is why what everyone sees now in the actions of Kay Lee Ray, is the real Kay Lee Ray.

Gooden seems caught off guard by the history between the two, as he asks why it has taken this long for the two to address their past with one another. It's with regret that Storm admits she is a private person thanks to her uprbringing and experiences. It makes her hard to open up and trust people yet as part of the UK Brand she has made some strong friendships with Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai which allowed her to put her demons behind her. This included Kay Lee Ray who she admits casted a dark shadow over her when she arrived as part of the UK Brand and it made it a bitter pill to swallow when her friends and her needed Kay Lee Ray on their side to combat Jinny and the House of Couture, yet even with a common enemy it all had to be about Kay Lee Ray.

Firing back Kay Lee Ray counters that she has never once needed to explain or justify herself to anyone. Remarking that her past with Toni Storm is simply the past and unimportant, Kay Lee Ray remarks that she came to the UK Brand with the best intentions. Those intentions of course being to get the UK Women's Championship around her waist. Yet in Kay Lee Ray's words, Toni Storm has constantly intercepted Kay Lee Ray doing so out of sheer jealously and insecurity on her part! Be it begging for her to team with them against the house of couture or just constantly trying to steal her spotlight. Now her intentions have changed to putting this to rest once and for all by proving that she is better than Toni Storm.

With the tension beginning to rise we see that security is on hand just in case things kick off between these two rivals. Looking to bring a close to this segment, John Gooden asks his final question as he mentions how both of these women have each picked up a victory against one another as part of the UK Brand, will there be a tie breaker between the two of them in the near future? Without any hesitation both Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm finally agree on something as they say yes to one more match as this face to face comes to an end!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before we can head back to ringside for the main event, the cameras took us to the corridor of the building where a confrontation between both
Travis Banks and Fabian Aichner was taking place. These long time rivals are practically nose to nose with one another as various barbs and insults are fired back and forth. Despite Aichner's big remarks that he is twice the champion that Banks is, it appears Banks is the one to get a rise out of the champion as he counters by mentioning how Aichner's only defended his title since against opponents he could easily defeat in what he's got the nerve to call open challenges. This strikes a nerve with Aichner who counters that anyone could step in that ring and face him and he will prove it by issuing an open challenge next week to the entire roster!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Livid at what happened last week both before and during his commonwealth champion opportunity,
Mark Andrews having marched backstage kicked open the locker room door of Timothy Thatcher before storming inside and confronting the champion. As Andrews and Thatcher stare down, it is with a smug smirk that Thatcher asks if Andrews is here to do the gentlemanly thing and shake his hand and congratulate him on his victory. Firing back however Andrews responds that had Thatcher beaten him fairly than he would have done so. Yet instead Thatcher took a cheap victory and is claiming it is legitimate, in response to this Thatcher counters he wouldn't have been forced to lower himself to that level had Andrews not tried to tarnish his reign and reputation not too mention the prestige of his title. This argument continues to go back and forth until Andrews challenges Thatcher to a rematch for the Commonwealth Championship. Nodding his head in agreement Thatcher agrees as long as he names the time and place, following up we learn the rematch will be taking place at the UK Showcase!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main Event: Tegan Nox vs Deonna Purrazzo

Finally it was the main event of the evening and we'd see a battle between two of the most respected women's wrestlers in the world today as Tegan Nox battled Deonna Purrazzo. To their credit both women were able to live up to the high expectations of this bout as we got in many ways a wrestling clinic. Featuring some beautiful chain wrestling it appeared that the champion had done her homework also as she was able to nullify the arm based offense of Deonna in the early going. As the match went on Deonna kicked up the aggression and this proved a great move for her as her arm work began to prove more fruitful. In the end however unfortunately for her, it would be her clear intent to force a submission on Tegan with her Fujiwara Armbar which cost her as Nox was able to roll through and catch her in a pinning position for a flash pinfall victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Tegan Nox!

The crowd cheers loudly as the announcement is made and Tegan Nox slowly gets to her feet favoring her left arm. Once she is up Tegan is handed her title by the referee before she begins to celebrate her victory. Deonna Purrazzo meanwhile rolls out to the floor and she cannot help but show her frustration at the defeat. Yet Tegan's celebration is soon cut short when we see at ringside
Laura Di Matteo, Bea Priestley and Gisele Shaw have attacked Deonna Purrazzo. The crowd are in shock as Purrazzo hits the ground and the trio puts the boots to her. Meanwhile in the ring Tegan is attempting to fight off both Chakara and Little Miss Roxxy. Nox manages to goozle the pair in position for a double chokeslam when she is hit across the back with her women's title by Lizzy Styles. The crowd boos as Styles leads traffic while Roxxy and Chakara begin to attack Nox. This is until Dakota Kai rushes down to the ring and she is able to connect with a running boot to the jaw of Gisele Shaw sending her tumbling back against the ringside barrier.

Kai then begins to fight with Laura Di Matteo until she is attacked by Bea Priestley. Aiding Bea in the attack are both
Valkyrie and Sadie Gibbs who have come through the crowd. While the nature or purpose of this attack is unknown it appears these women have common ground as Lizzy Styles stands over Nox and screams in her face that she is not the face of the UK Women's division and how they were all sick of being held back because she cherry picked her defenses. Before the attack can get any worse however in a stunning moment Meiko Satomura charges to the ring! As she rushes down to the ring Meiko absolutely devastates Gisele Shaw with a high kick. From here she ducks under a double clothesline attempt by Sadie Gibbs and Bea Priestley before laying out Bea with a big elbow strike and putting down Sadie with a hard series of kicks to the chest. Once she reaches the ringside area it is Valkyrie who is next to try her luck and Meiko catches her with a spin kick.

In the ring Lizzy Styles seems to be in shock as Meiko side steps a shot by Laura Di Matteo before blasting her with a pele kick. Once she is in the ring Satomura meets both Chakara and Roxxy with hard kicks while Styles makes her exit. A scorpion kick by Meiko connects on Roxxy before she is left with Chakara and she batters her with kicks to the delight of the crowd in attendance. Hoisting Chakara on her shoulders Meiko follows with a big death valley driver. As the show begins to time out Meiko Satomura picks up the UK Women's Championship and she turns to see Tegan Nox pulling herself to her feet. Once Tegan is up, Meiko hands her the title and the two women stare down as the show comes to a close.

    NXT Mexico/Performance center confirmed

While we had previously gotten wind of the fact that WWE had designs of not only constructing it's own performance center in Mexico but also producing it's own national NXT territory, details remained slim as we'd only just gotten full confirmation on the same being done in Japan. Rumors indicate that down the line there is plans for a world wide NXT show with a world cup like feel of Mexico vs Japan vs America vs the UK. We can also confirm that similar to Japan's territory having it's own rules and traditions in honor of it's heritage and history, that the Mexican version will have it's own similar feel based on Lucha Libre Traditions. This includes modifications to the rules of tag team matches as a whole and designs of a trios tag team championship as opposed to regular tag team titles. The general manager for the brand will be a Mexican actor turned Pro Wrestling personality by the name of Luis Fernandez-Gil. The talents rumored to be apart of the brand are as followed

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 079 ~ Infestissuman
    9/5/19
    Nottingham, England

Dark Match: Ashton Smith defeated Emil Sitoci

The tune of Monsters by Shinedown plays as this week's edition of the UK Brand begins. Starting things out is a comprehensive recap from the previous edition of the show. This video began with the controversial ending to the Spike Trivet and Michael OKU bout in which we saw Spike bribe a referee to ignore his blatant low blow. After covering a few more moments the video culminated with the shocking end to the previous show in which a group of women seemingly led by Lizzy Styles attacked champion Tegan Nox until they was run off by Meiko Satomura. With that this week's show officially began from Nottingham, England. The crowd in attendance are a lively one which one might expect with the UK audience and as the cameras pan around ringside it doesn't take long for them to direct us to the commentary booth where Doug Williams, John Gooden and James R Kennedy are based. The trio begin to hype up tonight's show in between some jabs between Kennedy and Williams before John sends us to the ring as we are expected to hear from Lizzy Styles.

Taking us away from the commentary table, the cameras direct us to the ring itself where Lizzy Styles is standing by. With a microphone in hand Lizzy looks to be in a sour mood as we see that around ringside are several of the women who aided her last week namely Laura Di Matteo, April Davids, Bea Priestley, Valkyrie, Gisele Shaw, Chakara, Little Miss Roxxy and Xia Brookside to name a few. The crowd in attendance are not impressed with this rogue group of women as a replay from last week is shown to refresh everyone's memory of their assault on the women's champion Tegan Nox and many of the UK Brand's womens wrestlers.

Acting as the spokeswoman for the group Lizzy Styles remarks that what you are looking at here is not a team of allies or a new faction. Because as she will openly admit none of the women around this ring are even friends nor do they really like each other. Instead they are more akin to an army because while they might not like one another, they all have a common goal and cause which is all they really need to share in order to achieve their goal. That cause is to shatter the glass ceiling that has been put over them by the so called elite of the UK Women's division here on the UK Brand.

Albeit with some reluctance Lizzy Styles offers Tegan Nox some respect for her role as champion. Admitting that she has shown herself to be deserving of the title as she has faced everyone put in front of her. Lizzy states that what they did last week was not because they dislike Tegan Nox. What they did is because they dislike the fact that everyone believes she has cleared out the division and now has to wrestle those who don't even belong in the division such as Meiko Satomura for example. The crowd in attendance boos at this remark while Lizzy begins to address several of the women around ringside.

After she points out at Xia Brookside, Laura Di Matteo and April Davids respectively. Lizzy comments these three women have been apart of the brand since the women's division started and yet not one of them has been given an opportunity to compete for the title. In fact their only showcase appearance was because they had to lower themselves to be subservient to an entitled brat like Jinny. The same can be said for Chakara who Lizzy remarks had to sell herself out to even be apart of the brand because of this glass ceiling that has been put above their heads.

Stating that women like Millie McKenzie, Toni Storm, Dakota Kai, Jinny and others are constantly put at the front. Lizzy remarks that the women around this ring are just as good if not better than the chosen few. Yet if Jazzy Gabert had attacked one of those mentioned everyone in attendance would freak out while at the same time it is fine for her to run roughshod over people like Chakara and Laura. Calling this a disgusitng double standard, Lizzy Styles promises that now they will shatter this glass ceiling and that they will be getting their moment at the UK Showcase!

The crowd's boos soon come to a halt however when Dakota Kai walks out onto the ramp with a microphone in one hand and a singapore cane in the other. Having been a recipient of the attack herself, Dakota Kai makes it clear that she has heard enough of Lizzy Styles' crap. Countering that what Lizzy seems to be forgetting is the fact that she herself had her chance against Tegan Nox and she wasn't good enough. Remarking that she has had her ups and downs as part of the UK Brand, Dakota then counters that despite what Styles might think. Dakota Kai has also never had her shot at the UK Women's title.

Mentioning however that she has scratched and clawed her way to be apart of this brand and referencing her years in the business. Dakota Kai comments that it is not entitlement or any glass ceiling but instead a confidence in paying her dues that she knows she deserves to be here and is capable of being champion one day. Looking down to that ring Dakota Kai follows with the proclamation that many of the women there are championship calibre. She even singles out former rival April Davids by reminding everyone of how they brutalised one another in a street fight a few months ago.

Offering her respect to literally everyone at ringside, Dakota then comments the only one she doesn't have any respect for is the true entitled brat of the bunch. That of course being Lizzy Styles. Stating this is a sport where it is hard to make a name for yourself and that in order to be a success, you have to really want it. Dakota says that hard work truly does pay off as it has for her and that is why she cannot stand hearing someone who is not really to put the hard work in and only run their mouth complaining about the opportunities that aren't handed to them on a plate.

Lizzy counters back that if she really wanted to hear someone's advice, she'd actually go out of her way to find someone who has made it in this business. Calling Dakota Kai nothing more than a place holder and a never has been. Lizzy comments that she has done more than enough to earn her place in this brand and it frustrates her to no end to see someone who to put it frankly just isn't good enough like Kai to be picked over her. As these two continue to go back and forth, it is Kai who puts Lizzy on the hot seat about her believed superiority and challenges her to a match to prove it. Nodding her head in agreement Lizzy Styles accepts the challenge for later on.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

A black and white promo then played set to the swan theme by the royal philharmonic orchestra. This classic promo of course highlighted the bizarre and flamboyant Cara Noir. This package is deeply troubling as again Cara Noir remains completely silent and takes us over the course of his journey with Kenny Williams. Clutching a photo of Kenny, Cara Noir starts out by looking at it longingly before we gradually see a transition in his personality and demeanor. Starting out with sadness, that emotion soon begins to turn to rage as he screws the photo up before letting out a silent scream. As tears begin to smear his make up, Cara Noir in sheer rage begins to rip the photo to pieces. The screen then goes to a blank as Cara Noir points to a poster advertising the UK Showcase before we get a look of confidence and a nod.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match One: Michael OKU vs Spike Trivet

Kicking off the show would be a rematch from the controversial bout between Michael OKU and Spike Trivet. Wanting no controversy this time round, Wade had brought in senior referee Steve Lynskey to oversee the proceedings. This bout very much showed what either man was capable of with OKU quickly becoming a favorite thanks to both his speed and submission abilities. Trivet meanwhile wasn't making any fans thanks to his attitude or willingness to bend the rules. As the match began to reach it's conclusion, we'd see that OKU would have Trivet clamped in a single leg crab however as we'd see Trivet writing on the canvas, in a quite surprising move we'd see none other than Luke Menzies walk out onto the stage.

The commentary team, James R Kennedy in particular would reveal that it was Wade Barrett himself who recently terminated Menzies' employment as Katarina's bodyguard and that in a chat with him early, Luke has informed James he is going by his real name Ridge Holland. The presence of Ridge Holland at ringside made OKU take his eyes off the ball as he released the hold, yet as he stared at Holland who kept a stoic demeanor, OKU was rolled up by Trivet for a near fall. Rolling to his feet OKU caught Trivet with a leaping calf kick before he climbed the turnbuckles. Once OKU was up top he raised an arm in the air while Trivet tried to pull the referee in his path. Aware of this tactic, Lynskey pulled himself away from Trivet and the two would begin to argue when Ridge Holland hopped onto the apron and blasted OKU with a forearm shot.

Falling from the top rope OKU landed chest first across the top rope before he staggered round into a kick directly to the knee by Spike Trivet. This well timed blow put OKU on a knee and Spike wasted no time in following up with a DDT before making a cover. 1....2....3

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Spike Trivet!

The crowd in attendance boos loudly as the announcement is made and Spike Trivet climbs to his feet. The smug aristocratic Spike Trivet stands tall and barks at the referee to raise his arm in the air. As Steve Lynskey complies we see Michael OKU pulled from the ring by Ridge Holland. Clasping the stunned OKU by the throat, Ridge looks to Spike Trivet who sports a menacing smirk before he nods his head. In a horrifying moment Ridge Holland then hoists OKU up before chokeslamming him across the ring apron! OKU falls to the canvas and Ridge Holland stands over him before he is joined by Spike Trivet, with the crowd booing it is Ridge Holland who then raises Trivet's arm in the air before the two walk backstage.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Footage from after last week's show is then played and it shows
Steve Xavier mouthing off following his victory earlier on in the night. Xavier soon finds himself confronted however by both Wolfgang and Tyson T-Bone. Having defeated both men over the past weeks, Steve Xavier mockingly asked if they was here for an autograph from a real wrestler. This didn't sit well with Steve as he branded both men losers and said they are perfect for one another. His trash talk would soon backfire however when both Wolfgang and Tyson T-Bone began to attack him with punches. However true to their form it didn't take long for Wolfgang and T-Bone to come into conflict with one another as well as they each wanted to dole out more damage to Steve only to enter in a shoving contest which escalated in punches being thrown. As the two continued to pummel one another however they would be wiped up when Xavier hurled a trash can into the face of T-Bone before connecting with a superkick on Wolfgang. With both men down Steve then made his escape down the hall.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Up next would then be the latest edition of a walk through the rose garden as
Joanna Rose finds herself joined by Meiko Satomura. The Japanese women's wrestling icon is full of respect for the UK Wrestling Scene and in particular it's women's wrestlers. Praising the UK Women's Champion Tegan Nox in particular, Meiko calls her a tremendous talent who she was looking forward to taking on in the second Mae Young Classic until an unfortunate injury stopped her in her track. Despite this Meiko continues to show her respect for the champion as she says that Tegan has constantly proven herself to able to come back regardless of the adversity or odds against her. From here Meiko is questioned about her arrival the past week and Meiko in response says that she has come here to wrestle the champion at her best. That is what true competitors do and she considers it an honor to wrestle Tegan Nox. This is why she wouldn't allow some in her words thugs to hurt her opponent before their big match. From here Meiko further remarks that until the UK Showcase, she will have Tegan's back.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before we return to ringside for the next match, the cameras direct us to the corridoor of the building where an argument seems to be taking place between
Shane Thorne and Adam Brooks. This argument very much seemed to be a continuation from the previous week as Adam Brooks made it clear that he doesn't need Shane's help to defeat Kyle Fletcher or anyone. Thorne counters that he knows as he has always been impressed with Adam, which he knows deep down Adam knows. This is why Shane Thorne has elected to get Adam booked in a singles match next week so he can show everyone just what he is capable of!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Returning to the ring, the cameras panned round the rabid crowd at ringside before turning it's focus on the ring itself where the UK Champion
Fabian Aichner is standing by. With a microphone in his hands Aichner ignores the boos from everyone in attendance as he is quick to remark that while he knows better than to expect any respect from the fans in attendance that even they will know when it comes down to it, Fabian Aichner is a man of his word. This is why when Travis Banks challenged him to offer another one of his open challenges, Aichner despite having nothing to prove elected to do so.

Revealing that similar to his other challenge, the title will very much be on the line. Fabian Aichner not only calls for a referee but also demands an opponent. Just then however much to the delight of the crowd in attendance it is the Kiwi Buzzsaw himself
Travis Banks who walks out from the back dressed to compete and with a microphone in hand. Commenting that he hoped Aichner would be arrogant enough to go through with Banks' suggestion, Travis admits that he's out here right now because honestly he can't wait for the UK Showcase to get his title back!

The crowd are on their feet while a livid Fabian Aichner stands in the ring and waves Banks on. Travis continues by saying that the challenge is accepted. However before he can make it into the ring,
Wade Barrett marches out onto the ramp and it is clear that he is not happy with this in the slightest. Demanding Banks stop in his tracks, Wade declares that there will be no match between Travis Banks and Fabian Aichner tonight for the UK Championship. As that match has of course been scheduled for the UK Showcase and he will not jeopardize the main event for that show despite his feelings for Mr.Banks.

In the ring Fabian Aichner looks to be sporting a smug smirk as Wade continues with the threat that if Banks even steps into the ring with Aichner tonight, he will consider his future opportunity forfeit and will be indefinitely suspended. Nodding his head Travis Banks surprisingly begins to chuckle much to the surprise of Barrett and Aichner for that matter. Countering that he had a feeling something like this might happen, Travis remarks that he employed a counter measure. Because if he can't get his hands on Fabian Aichner, then he might as well get to enjoy a close friend of his do so.

As the cameras focus on a perplexed Wade Barrett, slowly his eyes begin to open wide and his expression changes to one of shock as he tells Fabian to turn round. The cameras then focus in the ring and Aichner turns around but it is too late as he is met with a torpedo Moscow by Ilja Dragunov! Aichner hits the canvas hard before he rolls out to the floor while the crowd cheer in elation. Travis Banks meanwhile joins Ilja in the ring and shakes hands with the Russian who can be heard yelling challenge accepted while Aichner struggles to recollect himself at ringside. Once he is to his feet however Aichner starts to back up the ramp claiming he needs more time to prepare and will see Ilja later on tonight.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match Two: Lizzy Styles vs Dakota Kai

This match having been made following their confrontation earlier on in the evenings very much was a grudge match of the highest order. Styles and Kai very much had a lot of bad blood and a clear lack of respect for one another based on the stiff strikes thrown throughout. Loud and boastful as ever, Styles soon found herself eating her words however as Kai rocked her block badly with a high kick near the end of the match. Before Dakota could finish her off with the Kai-Ropractor however she would be pulled from under the bottom ropes by Xia Brookside and Laura Di Matteo causing the referee to call for the bell.

    Shepherd:
And the winner of the match as a result of a disqualification Dakota Kai!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and at ringside Dakota Kai is jumped by the two women. Meanwhile in the ring Lizzy Styles pulled herself to her feet and yet again began talking trash to the crowd in attendance. This would be until Toni Storm and Millie McKenzie charged the ring having seen enough. While the two would manage to fight off both Brookside and Di Matteo, they'd soon be overwhelmed by the numbers game thanks to the arrival of April Davids, Chakara, Lizzy Styles and Little Miss Roxxy. Dakota Kai meanwhile on getting herself to her feet was blindsided by Bea Priestley. Also having seen enough now we'd see Piper Niven charge down to the ring where she'd be met by both Gisele Shaw and Valkyrie. The powerhouse Niven seemed to help even the odds a little bit until both Tegan Nox and Meiko Satomura also arrived to even the odds moreso. Not too long after this Lizzy Styles and her crusaders made their exit through the crowd while Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Toni Storm, Piper Niven, Millie McKenzie and Meiko Satomura stood tall in the ring.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once the match it over the cameras direct us backstage to the GM's office where
Katarina Leigh is standing by. Katarina for her part doesn't seem impressed with what just went down and she is quick to announce that next week will feature a huge 16 woman elimination tag team match as Tegan Nox, Meiko Satomura, Piper Niven, Kasey Owens, Deonna Purrazzo, Kay Lee Ray, Toni Storm, Millie McKenzie and Dakota Kai will team to face Lizzy Styles, Chakara, Bea Priestley, April Davids, Laura Di Matteo, Xia Brookside, Gisele Shaw, Valkyrie and Little Miss Roxxy. Along with this, Katarina announces that in two weeks from today fans will see Toni Storm vs Kay Lee Ray 3!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

A video package then begins to play focusing on the reign of the Commonwealth Champion
Timothy Thatcher. Throughout the clips of Thatcher's matches, we hear a voiceover from the champion himself who talks about the honor and prestige of his title and what his goals are for british wrestling. Calling himself a traditionalist who believes that Champions are standard bearers for their promotions, Thatcher comments that is why he responded so badly when Mark Andrews attempted to disrespect his championship and thus in turn besmearch everything he had done so far to build up it's lineage. Talking about their upcoming match at the UK Showcase, Thatcher promises to make an example of Mark Andrews to cement his place as the standard bearer for the UK Brand.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

After her match earlier in the night, the cameras focus on
Lizzy Styles as she makes her way backstage and seeks out the women's locker room. Once she's inside the room Lizzy finds herself face to face with Deonna Purrazzo. More than aware of the match set for next week, it appears that Lizzy Styles has taken a different approach with Deonna. Commenting that she didn't want to hurt Deonna last week, Lizzy goes on to say in many ways she feels Purrazzo is someone who can understand where she is coming from. As Deonna herself has been held back because of the so called glass ceiling. Deonna for her part doesn't respond to this and walks away without saying a word while Styles begins to smirk.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match Three: Tyler Bate vs Mark Coffey

This being the first of three key preview matches between British Strong Style and the trio of the Coffey Brothers and Jordan Devlin. The pressure was on both Tyler Bate and Mark Coffey to get the ball rolling for their respect units. As we'd learn all interference had been banned from these matches and should anyone from either team do so, they would forfeit all the matches immediately giving the other team the right to select the stipulation for their Showcase match.

With this being Tyler's first singles match since his shocking turn and alignment with British Strong Style. It must be mentioned in the ring we saw a very different Tyler Bate than we was used to. Gone was the pleasing moves and pandering to the crowd, while in it's place was a new found viciousness and willingness to bend the rules. To his credit however this didn't phase Mark Coffey who as one might expect was there to meet Tyler Bate with his usual brand of in your face smash mouth offense.

Unfortunately for Mark it was this bending of the rules which eventually allowed Tyler Bate to be the victor as he took every short cut he could. This would start by removing the turnbuckle cover before using referee Joel Allen's momentary distraction at trying to fix the corner to drive a thumb into Mark's eye. From here a low blow followed much to the crowd's chagrin before Bate rolled him up for a victory and despite not needing to it was noted that Bate had a handfull of tights for extra leverage.

Shepherd:And the winner of the match Tyler Bate!

The crowd in attendance are not happy as the announcement is made and Tyler Bate jumps to his feet. Smugly Tyler jumps around in the ring acting like he's just won an oscar or gold at the olympics as opposed to a very tainted result. As Bate continues this celebration we see Mark Coffey start to take a knee before he argues with the referee until Bate blindsides Mark from behind with a forearm. The heat only magnifies as Bate demands the referee raises his arm totally unaware that Coffey didn't fall out of the ring and managed to catch himself on the ropes before pulling himself back into the ring. Slowly getting to his feet Mark Coffey wasted no time in spinning Bate around before blasting him with the Red Forearm to a pop from the crowd. With Bate motionless on the canvas, Mark Coffey then would take a moment to stand over his downed foe before leaving the ring and heading backstage.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before our main event of the night, we go back to the general manager's office where this time around Wade Barrett is standing by. Wade has a broad smile on his face as he stands up from his chair and looks down at the desk where we see what looks to be a contract. With pride Wade talks about the tremendous talents who have featured so far in the UK Brand and then he talks about how with his reach and influence they have been able to reach out to and make a deal with an individual who while not from the UK Himself has great respect for the UK wrestling scene and it's history. To the shock of the crowd in attendance, the cameras then pan back to show Kassius Ohno in the office having signed the contract before Wade confirms that following this UK Showcase Kassius Ohno will become a member of the UK Brand roster!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main Event: Fabian Aichner vs Ilja Dragunov - UK Championship Match

Having made this open challenge earlier on in the night it appeared for Fabian Aichner what we had here was a case of be careful what you wish for as he found himself up against the crazed Russian Ilja Dragunov. While many in the crowd seemed aware of Dragunov and his reputation those who were unaware were soon captivated by the dynamic superstar as he appeared to be the first opponent of Aichner capable of withstanding his heaviest blows. This would include a shocking moment in the early goings in which Aichner connected with his game changing dropkick on Dragunov only to have Ilja shockingly not only kick out of a pin at a count of one but also immediately get to his feet.

Living up to his reputation Ilja took the fight to Aichner in this match as at times he launched himself recklessly at his foe. This would even include him connecting with a big torpedo Moscow out on the floor to his opponent sending the champion tumbling over the guard rail. As both men refused to give one another an inch and the battle waged on we'd see the chops of Dragunov begin to make Aichner's chest go red while a second dropkick by Aichner did a lot more damage and gave the match it's only near fall. Making a comeback from this Dragunov began to have the champion reeling following an exploder suplex.

A big pumphandle bomb followed before Ilja connected with a falling headbutt on Aichner. With Fabian dazed, Dragunov looked for a rock bottom but the champion blocked it and pushed him off into the ropes before catching him on the return with a powerslam. Quickly looking to follow up Aichner leapt up to the top rope and sprung off for a moonsault. Yet as he looked to land it Dragunov rolled out of the way leading to Aichner hitting the canvas! The champion is winded and as he'd stagger to his feet Dragunov connected with the rock bottom.

Taking his place in the corner Dragunov looks to be feeling it as he is setting his opponent up for the Torpedo Moscow. The crowd in attendance are on their feet as Aichner slowly starts to rise. Once Aichner is up Ilja launches himself at him for TORPEDO MOSCOW! But in a shocking moment AICHNER CATCHES DRAGUNOV IN MID AIR before hoisting him up and spiking him into the canvas with a sickening brainbuster. Wasting no time as he gets to his feet Aichner deadlifts the stunned Dragunov before driving him into the canvas with the Hasta La Vista powerbomb. One...Two...Three!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion Fabian Aichner!

There is stunned silence from the crowd at first as the announcement is made. After remaining on the canvas for a few seconds Fabian Aichner slowly rises while on commentary it is Doug Williams who remarks that while Aichner as a man might leave a lot to be desired there is no denying he is not a tremendous competitor. From here once he is up Fabian Aichner is handed his title by the referee and he holds it high in the air while the official starts to tend to the downed Dragunov. Several replays of the bout are then played while John Gooden praises both men and remarks that Dragunov has nothing to be ashamed of here.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

While the commentary team begin to close out the show, they are soon interupted when a livid Rhea Ripley storms in the ring having come through the crowd. Once she is in the ring Rhea snatches Andy Shepherd's microphone before she begins to address everyone in attendance. Calling what has happened to her lately a load of bullshit, Rhea Ripley chastises Katarina Leigh for her unprofessional actions and for putting her hands on her. Stating that this is all out of jealously because Rhea has accomplished more in only a couple of years than Katarina did her entire career, Rhea demands an apology from the General Manager.

The crowd in attendance voice their disapproval at the brash Ripley when suddenty emerging from the back is the general manager herself
Katarina Leigh. Taking her place on the ramp Katarina counters that she owes Rhea Ripley no apology for eliminating her from the Women's Rumble because like her she was a participant in the match. All she did there was do what anyone in that match was trying to do and that is eliminate the competition. However Katarina comments that things between her and Rhea Ripley have been getting out of hand for a while now and it's time to nip them in the bud.

Admitting albeit with some reluctance that she admires the talent possessed by Rhea Ripley. Katarina does admit that there has been part of her that has longed for a return to the ring and that part of her struggled in the early going to sit behind a desk as general manager. At the same time it was her love for the business and the honor of the job that made her stick it out and she feels she's done quite the good job despite some teething problems. This earns Katarina some more applause from the crowd as she continues by admitting she also had some doubts about whether she could keep up with this new generation.

However surprisingly it is here that Katarina admits that while she will not ever be apologising to Rhea Ripley. She wants to thank her and give her some big news. The thank you is because Rhea Ripley awakened something in her she had long thought to be dead. A desire and a competitive spirit which caused her in the past to dive off balconies and fight not just every woman who crossed her path but also any man who thought he was tough enough. This is why out of grattitude for that awakening what Katarina is doing is giving Rhea Ripley her chance to settle this once and for all. Because at the UK Showcase it will be Katarina Leigh vs Rhea Ripley! The crowd in attendance is deafening as the announcement is made and a stunned Rhea Ripley stands in the ring. With that this latest edition of the UK Brand comes to a close with the final shot being a smirking Katarina staring down at her future opponent.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    WWE UK Brand News

~ It can be confirmed that over the previous week, we have seen two departures from the UK Brand. The two departures are of Charlie Sterling and Chris Brookes respectively. Both departures are said to be amicable as it is believed that with Charlie Sterling, the belief is that frequent changes with his character and persona may have hindered him more than helped him. So the hope is perhaps over time given the right story that Charlie can return as himself and have greater success which warrants his talents. As for Chris Brookes which to some will be a big departure and waste of talent. The belief with Chris is that he was frequently hindered with wrong time/wrong place. As originally CCK were supposed to be big parts of the UK Brand until Kid Lykos' untimely and unfortunate retirement. From there plans had Brookes possibly forming a stable after having lost his way but the backstage misconduct of Josh Bodom further impacted his story. The door is believed to be wide open for Brookes as the brand feels he has a lot of talent and wants to give him his chance to show that to the world.

~ Following his impressive showing on this past week's edition of the UK Brand. There is a call to sign Ilja Dragunov which many might remember being akin to the call to sign both Marty Scurll and WALTER during their guest appearances. The WWE has sent feelers out to ILJA who has been receptive thus far and open to negotations. In an update on the other two, we can also confirm that for the moment negotiations with Marty Scurll have come to a halt thanks to Marty potentially resigning with ROH while Walter and WWE have maintained contact and many say it's a case of when and not if he signs with the WWE.

~ To the surprise of some we learned this week that Kassius Ohno has officially signed on to be apart of the UK Brand. This was a move orchestrated personally by Triple H himself for several reasons. The first of which being that Ohno is described very much as a student of the game and is likened by many as a modern day William Regal capable of wearing whatever hat he needs to in order to suit his role. This in Triple H's mind means that Ohno is perfect to wrestle with many of the younger, lesser experienced talents and help bring them up a level or two. Along with this there is the belief that a fresh change of scenery will do Kassius wonders as he was very much being looked at as a gate keeper on NXT while as part of the NXT brand there is potential for his profile to be raised even higher.

~ Following the UK Showcase there is talk of the elimination series returning. For those who remember the elimination series pioneered last year and would see a number of superstars competing in a series of matches over the course of several weeks with the losing talent being eliminated each week until only one remained. We know however that this series will be very much done with a difference with the rumor being that the brand may experiment further with the concept.

~ Finally we can confirm today that Jack Gallagher will be transferring over to the UK Brand from 205 Live. Having made several appearances in the past, this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to the UK Brand faithful. It is also rumored that there will be several changes made to his character over on the brand who are comitted to making him a star. With this note it has to be mentioned that talks have been had about bringing Noam Dar over as well full time. Yet for the moment thanks to the talent on the roster as well as Noam being benched due to an injury, those talks are on hold.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

WWE United Kingdom Brand - Episode 080 - Depth of Satans' Eyes
    16/5/19
    Oxford, England

Dark Match: Jack Gallagher defeated Kip Sabian

The tune of Monsters by Shinedown plays as this week's edition of the UK Brand begins. Starting things out is a comprehensive recap from the previous edition of the show. The video would begin by highlighting the confrontation between Travis Banks and Fabian Aichner in which Banks' baited Aichner into a match against Ilja Dragunov. After we see clips of the match in question, focus then turned to Tyler Bate's win over Mark Coffey before the video culminated with the stunning announcement that Katarina Leigh will be wrestling Rhea Ripley at the UK Showcase. With the package concluded this week's show officially began and we'd see a packed crowd in attendance while John Gooden, Doug Williams and James R Kennedy hyped up tonight's event.

Match One: Dakota Kai, Deonna Purrazzo, Kasey Owens, Kay Lee Ray, Meiko Satomura, Millie McKenzie, Piper Niven, Tegan Nox and Toni Storm vs April Davids, Bea Priestley, Chakara, Gisele Shaw, Laura Di Matteo, Little Miss Roxxy, Lizzy Styles, Valkyrie and Xia Brookside - Elimination Match

Kicking off the night would be the elimination tag team match between Lizzy Styles and her crusaders against those who she has claimed have put the glass ceiling above them in the first pace. As one might expect especially in the early going we'd see Tegan Nox's team very much in control. Highlighting their early dominance would be the Japanese Women's wrestling Icon Meiko Satomura who very much run roughshod over her opponents and was responsible for the first elimination when she trapped Chakara in a cross armbar and forced the former assistant of Jinny to submit.

From here Styles' teams bad luck would continue as Gisele Shaw would be the recipient of a scorpion Kick from Meiko which was enough to keep her down for a 3 count. Of course it seemed that Styles and her teams real big opportunity began when the other team started to fall apart. This of course would begin with Toni Storm and Kay Lee Ray's mutual hatred for one another bubbling over and both women brawling to the back removing them from the match while we'd see not long after the presence of Jinny and the House of Couture at ringside distract Piper Niven long enough to allow Bea Priestley to steal the win with a roll up.

This wouldn't be the only cause of disruption for their team as Jazzy Gabert would make her presence felt when she pulled Millie McKenzie from the apron and attacked her at ringside. Millie would valiantly try and fight back only to be wiped out following a nasty Fisherman buster on the floor. With their team only down to Dakota Kai, Deonna Purrazzo, Kasey Owens, Meiko Satomura and Tegan Nox what followed then would be a shocking moment as Deonna Purrazzo walked out on her own team leaving them to go up against April Davids, Bea Priestley, Laura Di Matteo, Little Miss Roxxy, Lizzy Styles, Valkyrie and Xia Brookside.

Despite their team being up against the odds, Nox's group would begin to rally back thanks to a highly impressive showing by Dakota Kai. Having been fired up by her run ins with Lizzy Styles as of late, Kai very much got right into the battle and blasted her foes with stiff kicks. A big running yakuza kick to the corner on Valkyrie would be enough to put her down for the 3 before she'd also eliminate former foe April Davids with the Kai-Ropractor. With the odds now even it appeared Styles and her group was the ones who were beginning to have problems as an argument between Laura and Lizzy allowed Tegan to capitalise and pin Laura following a chokeslam.

Little Miss Roxxy was the next one to go and it would be thanks to a cobra clutch submission by Kasey Owens. However unfortunately for Kasey who was very popular with the fans in attendance, a running single knee face buster by Xia Brookside was enough to keep her down for the three. For their part it has to be said that Brookside and Priestley seemed to be on the same page as they together looked to work over Meiko Satomura. Unfortunately for them it took one slip up to allow Meiko to trap Brookside in a tight armbar which forced her to submit.

From here Bea Priestley and Lizzy Styles found themselves against the trio of Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox and Meiko Satomura. Having been noted for not entering the ring at all throughout the bout, Lizzy Styles began barking orders at Bea Priestley to do her job and get in the ring. This did not sit at all well with Priestley who shockingly tagged out to Styles before flipping her into the ring. As Styles, pulled herself to her feet she'd realise that Bea had then made her exit to the backstage area leaving her alone against the trio of Nox, Satomura and Kai!

Her attempts to talk her way out of this situation would backfire as much to the crowd's delight we'd see Nox, Satomura and Kai literally beat the hell out of the mouthy Lizzy Styles. In a true case of the villain getting her comeuppance Lizzy's attempts to escape were blocked before Meiko blasted her with a scorpion kick. A shining Wizard by Nox then followed before Dakota Kai got to finish things once and for all with a Kai-Ropractor for the victory.

Shepherd:And the winners of the match Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Meiko Satormua, Piper Niven, Toni Storm, Kay Lee Ray, Millie McKenzie, Kasey Owens and Deonna Purrazzo!

The crowd in attendance cheers as the announcement is made and we see Tegan Nox, Meiko Satomura and Dakota Kai all stand tall in the ring. While Dakota Kai begins to celebrate her victory, Tegan and Meiko lock eyes in what for a moment is a tense stand off between the future opponents. Slowly Meiko nods her head and Tegan responds in kind as the two join Kai in the celebration.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

At the conclusion of the bout, the cameras direct us backstage to the locker room area. There on his own is a troubled Kenny Williams who is sat in front of a TV Screen watching the bizarre Cara Noir promos. Once the video comes to an end, the focused Kenny Williams begins to talk about the man he knew as Thomas Dawkins. Commenting that he always thought Dawkins was a little eccentric, Kenny admits he is surprised at how far Dawkins has fallen with this Cara Noir personality. Calling Dawkins a deranged lunatic, Kenny Williams makes it clear that at the UK Showcase he will look to beat some sense into Thomas Dawkins and snap him out of this Cara Noir delusion.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Before we can return to ringside for the next contest, the cameras direct us towards the hallway of the building where both
Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher are standing by. The pair are fired up as they talk about their recent run ins with the Mighty. Calling them a bunch of cowards who rely on the numbers game to get ahead. Offering the group a chance to prove them wrong, Mark Davis throws the challenge out for a tag team match at the UK Showcase!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Match Two: Adam Brooks w/Shane Thorne vs Michael OKU

Our next bout of the night would very much put on a show for the fans in attendance. As both Adam Brooks and Michael OKU put on a fast paced, all action clash to everyone's delight. Despite his villainous status, It appeared that once again not only did Adam Brooks wish to prove himself but also that he'd forego any cheating or questionable tactics. As he opted instead to try and win the bout with only his skill and talent. Michael OKU meanwhile despite being banged up from last week, also impressed as he not only gutted through having taped up ribs but also refused to let the injury stop him from putting on a show. Towards the end of the bout, OKU seemingly had things won following a fisherman buster. Yet as he went for the legs of Adam to hopefully clamp on his single leg crab submission. Adam Brooks kicked him off into the ropes where OKU was hit with a knee to the back and right into his ribs by Shane Thorne. The crowd erupted into boos and it was clear that neither the referee or Brooks was aware of this as Adam caught OKU staggering forward and drove him into the canvas with a cradle shock for the victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Adam Brooks!

The crowd in attendance aren't happy as the announcement is made. Adam Brooks for his part is unaware of his tainted win and he begins to celebrate his victory while a smirking Shane Thorne watches on from ringside.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

A replay from the previous week then plays highlighting the alliance formed between
Spike Trivet and Ridge Holland. Once the video package comes to an end, the cameras direct us to Spike Trivet in the middle of a meal in one of London's finest eating establishments. With Ridge Holland standing close by, Spike spoke of how he was simply a different class to everyone. Not just socially but also in the ring. Admitting that he is arrogant, brash, elitist, spoiled and entitled. Spike Trivet refuses to apologise for simply being himself. Because in his words he has been born with the world at his feet and that is not his fault. Calling the world and everything in it his, Spike looks over at Ridge Holland and calls him the first man intelligent enough to know that there is no denying Spike Trivet. Closing out the promo, Spike makes the bold proclamation that that the UK Brand is his for the taking just like the future of pro wrestling.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Following this the cameras then direct us towards the GM's office where a heated confrontation is taking place between both
Wade Barrett and Katarina Leigh. To say that Wade is livid would be an understatement as he berates Katarina for not being able to keep her emotions in check and now instead of being fully focused on her job of general manager, she has elected to put herself in a match at the UK Showcase. Firing back Katarina comments that what she has done is necessary as she could not allow Rhea Ripley's behavior to stand on principle and as GM she will make her face the consequences of her actions. The GM and the management consultant's arguing would only escalate until Wade issued Katarina a warning. Commenting that she had dug her own grave, Wade remarked she will now have to be happy to lie in it. Because if she loses to Rhea Ripley at the UK Showcase, then she will no longer be the General Manager!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Footage plays from earlier on in the evening and it focuses on a boastful
Steve Xavier standing before several wrestlers and officials. Xavier's boasts very much are of standard fare as he proclaims himself to be the toughest man in the locker room and across the UK. Calling himself an extreme icon to boot, Steve's words soon draw him a couple more eyes as both Wolfgang and Tyson T-Bone confront him. Despite both being beaten by him over the past weeks neither seems to be that impressed with Steve as it doesn't take long for both T-Bone and Wolfgang to begin throwing punches at Steve himself. Xavier very much is reeling from the blows and he's sent careening over a table following a headbutt by T-Bone. Unfortunately for the pairing both Wolfgang and T-Bone the combativeness of both men soon brought them into conflict as they began arguing over who could take the next shot at Xavier. As the two traded punches back and forth, Wolfgang would be laid out when Xavier hurled a trashcan directly at his head. From here Steve met T-Bone with a superkick. With both men down, Xavier stands over them and challenges them to a fight at the UK Showcase!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Match Three: Lana Austin and Nina Samuels vs Kanji and Zoe Lucas

Match Three of the evening then gave us our first look in ring at Jinny's new House of Couture recruits. Taking on the young pairing of Kanji and Zoe Lucas, this bout very much allowed us to see the dynamic of Nina and Lana. Austin would provide the speed for the team while Samuels very much acted as the hard hitting bruiser. On commentary it was James R Kennedy who provided the background for both women being aligned with Jinny, as he'd state that Lana Austin was once in desperate need of a job in order to provide for her children and it was the generosity of Jinny who gave her one. Meanwhile Nina Samuels was a veteran of the UK Independent scene who for one reason or another was constantly overlooked and passed over. With again the generosity of Jinny giving her the opportunity of a lifetime. Following a short contest the match culminated with a gory bomb/diving cutter combination by the new house of couture.

Shepherd: And the winners of the match Lana Austin and Nina Samuels!

The crowd in attendance boos as the announcement is made while Nina Samuels and Lana Austin stand tall in the ring. On the ramp we see an impressed Jinny watching on as her clients get their arms raised in victory.

Having brawled backstage earlier on in the night, we'd see the continuation of
Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm's fight. Neither woman is willing to back down or give one another an inch until they are separated by security and officials. Still at boiling point it is only the arrival of Wade Barrett which seems to alleviate some of the tension. Making a change to next weeks' match in the hopes of settling things once and for all. Wade announces that the winner of Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm will be named the next number one contender for the Women's Championship.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Returning to the locker room area we are then shown another confrontation which took place earlier on in the night. This time round the participants would be
Mark Andrews and the Commonwealth Champion Timothy Thatcher. The bickering between the two is about Andrews calling Thatcher out on his want now to cherry pick defenses, Thatcher counters that he hasn't had a worthy opponent in a while now as he will be proving at the UK Showcase. Andrews however counters that when he takes Thatcher's championship from him, he'll never duck a challenger. This is why next week, he's going to issue an open challenge of his own. Going as far to dare Thatcher to take him up on it, Andrews leaves the locker room while an irritated Thatcher stares him down.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

A replay from several weeks ago plays and the night in question is of the UK Women's Rumble. The footage focuses on
Killer Kelly in the middle of a warm up for the bout when she comes face to face with the GM Katarina Leigh. As we'd see in this footage Katarina Leigh calmly began by asking Killer Kelly for her spot in the UK Rumble. This would be made with the promise that in turn she'd owe her one. Kelly not only refused however, she'd also counter by mocking Katarina about her saga with Rhea Ripley and that she didn't have the guts to stand up to her. This seemed to be a case of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time as we'd see the General Manager lay out Killer Kelly and take her number in the gauntlet. Following this footage, the cameras directed us to the locker room area where a livid Killer Kelly is standing by. Calling what happened to her a travesty and stating that she was robbed of her opportunity. Kelly closes out this promo by announcing she will be facing Katarina Leigh next week!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Match Four: Jordan Devlin vs Pete Dunne

The fourth match of the night was hands down for many the main event of the night as we got the first ever meeting between Pete Dunne and Jordan Devlin. This being the second of three UK Showcase preview matches for the feuding trios of British Strong Style and Jordan Devlin and the Coffey Brothers. As one might expect from the talent involved in this bout Jordan Devlin and Pete Dunne put on a show for the fans in attendance. The match was back and forth between the two men and featured some great chain wrestling between the two. With the pressure on him to even the odds after British Strong Style got the win last week, Jordan Devlin was fired up in this bout and he came close to putting Dunne away following a spinning heel kick. Reeling from this blow, Pete Dunne shockingly countered with a blatant low blow forcing the referee to call for the bell.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match as a result of a disqualification Jordan Devlin!

The crowd erupts into boos as Jordan Devlin falls to his knees in the ring. Standing over Jordan, Pete Dunne then connects with a brutal forearm strike to the jaw knocking him down to the canvas. Before Dunne can do anymore damage the Coffey brothers hit the ring while the Bruiserweight makes his escape. On commentary we can hear at this moment James Kennedy praising Dunne's tactics as realising perhaps that tonight wasn't his night, he chose to get the last word and this onslaught will be in Devlin's head come the UK Showcase.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

The screen blacks out before the tune of seven devils by florence and the machine plays. What follows are scenes very much reminiscent of the chilling adventures of Sabrina. As an elderly member of this coven begins to talk, she starts to praise her top student and readiness to enter the world. Slowly standing up and walking before the coven is a red haired woman wearing a long red dress and a golden necklace reminiscent of Melissandre in Game of Thrones. As this woman holds her arms outstretched and looks up at the candle lit ceiling, the screen begins to fade out with the chilling words
"The Spellcaster" Isla Dawn is coming soon!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

As we return to the ring, we see the crowd in attendance are on their feet and cheering loudly as "The Kiwi Buzzsaw"
Travis Banks grabs himself a microphone. Banks has a smile on his face as he cannot help but show his excitement for his upcoming rematch with the UK Champion Fabian Aichner. Stating that he said this before and he will say it again, Travis comments that he knows the UK Showcase will be his time and he will finally get his championship back. This earns Banks another loud pop as he nods his head out of appreciation.

From here Banks begins to talk about his opponent as he says that up until last week, he didn't really have much respect for Fabian Aichner. Instead he just saw him as a spoiled brat not too mention an entitled bully. Yet last week in his match with Ilja Dragunov, Fabian Aichner showed himself to be worthy of being a champion. He finally earned Travis Banks' respect whether that means anything or not and now come the Showcase Travis not only knows who he is going in there against but he also knows that at the end of the match, he will have not only beaten a worthy champion but also have beaten the respect into Fabian Aichner.

Moving on Travis then follows by stating that it is because of that respect, he is going to lead by Fabian's example. Which is why tonight he is going to be issuing an open challenge of his own! There is another pop from the crowd as Banks continues with the shocking proclamation that while he may not have a title to put on the line, what he does have is a title match opportunity at the UK Showcase! Several fans can be heard gasping as Travis Banks then issues the challenge with the promise that his Showcase opportunity will be up for grabs.

This shock soon turns to jeers as surprisingly walking out from the back are the pairing of
Clement Petoit and Marcel Barthel! Both men have microphones in their hands and it is Barthel who begins by claiming to have become sick and tired of being passed over for opportunites while men like Banks get handed things on a silver platter. Chiming in Clement Petoit also makes some bold statements as he says that he and Barthel are the two best wrestlers in the UK Brand and now they want their chance to prove it. So if Travis Banks is really looking to show himself as a competitor than how about he face both of them in a triple threat match! Without any hesitation Travis Banks accepts the challenge for the match and calls for a referee!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Main Event: Travis Banks vs Clement Petiot vs Marcel Barthel

Having made the challenge, the pressure was on Travis Banks here as he took on both members of the Foreign Legion. As one might suspect however this contest very much was more a handicap match as Travis Banks found himself at the mercy of both Petoit and Barthel. The two men clearly had a lot to prove as they showed a new found aggression in their strikes as they took the fight to Banks in the early going. Unlike the usual trope however of teams breaking up over who would make the pin, it seemed as well that Barthel and Petoit had little to no issue over who took the fall as long as they won the match.

A close near fall would be taken by Petoit on Banks following a butterfly suplex before Barthel earned himself a near fall with the regal plex. While the two continued their onslaught we'd see backstage that Fabian Aichner was sitting down in the locker room area with a smirk on his face as he watched Banks get beaten down. This isn't to say though that Travis was only getting beaten down the whole match as when he could, he'd fire back on both men. This included at one stage him badly rocking Barthel with a enzugiri leaving just him and Petoit to battle it out.

Towards the end of the match Petoit drilled Banks with a nasty European uppercut to the back of the head which sent him staggering forward into a spinning neck breaker by Barthel for a close near fall. Showing some frustration Barthel and Petoit then looked to finish things once and for all as they sent Banks into the turnbuckle. Hoisting him up into a seated position both men then joined him on the middle rope when Travis began showing some life and firing off punches.

A well timed forearm by Banks sent Barthel toppling over the ropes before he landed on the apron. This then allowed Banks to drill Petoit with a series of headbutts one of which would knock Petoit back into a tree of woe position. As Petoit scrambled to free himself, he would be met with a diving double stomp by Banks to a loud pop from the crowd! Fired up and looking for revenge Banks could see Barthel climbing to his feet on the apron before Banks sprung off the ropes with the slice of heaven kick.

Taking a nasty landing again on the ring apron, this time Marcel Barthel falls out to the arena floor leaving Banks with the wounded Petoit. Now having gone from predator to prey Petoit would try and fight back while Banks battered him with a series of nasty kicks. A big headkick by Banks rocked his foe badly and with Petoit dropping to a knee, Banks followed with a shining wizard. Having Petoit hurt Banks then followed up with the Kiwi Crusher!

Making a cover as the crowd cheered, Banks' dreams were unfortunately dashed at 2 when a wily Barthel pulled the referee out of the ring. Slowly sliding back into the ring albeit in great pain, Barthel jumped Banks and hit him with a series of uppercuts until Banks countered with some hard kicks. With Barthel reeling Travis set him up for the Kiwi Crusher when Petoit hit him from behind. Setting up Banks for a German Suplex, Petoit had Barthel hit the ropes.

Running off from the ropes Barthel looked for a running European uppercut when Banks spun out and sent Petoit crashing into Barthel. Both men would collide heads and Banks followed up with the slice of heaven on Clement Petoit. Having took the worst of the headbutt Barthel was stunned and down to a knee where Banks dived on him and trapped him in the Koji Clutch for the submission!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Travis Banks!

The crowd in attendance cheers as the announcement is made and Travis Banks slowly gets to his feet to a loud pop. Once he is up Banks has his arm raised in the air before the referee checks on both members of the Foreign Legion. With that this week's edition of the UK Brand comes to close with Banks standing tall.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    WWE United Kingdom Brand News/Updates

~ In some interesting news, we know that Chakara, Gisele Shaw, Lizzy Styles and Laura Di Matteo will be spending some time with the UK Performance Center. This means that all four women will be off the UK Brand TV for the time going. In regards to Chakara and Gisele Shaw, the belief is that both women have a tremendous upside in the future and that they need some more time to get there. Meanwhile Lizzy Styles has earned rave reviews for her mic work and being able to generate real heat for herself, and it is said the break will give her time to sit back as the brand attempts to find a better place for her on the roster. As for Laura Di Matteo, with the Female Fight Factory rumored to be running it's course. Management are talking about a potential repackage for her down the line.

~ We also know in regards to the performance center that a couple of new recruits have been revealed today. The first of which is a bruising heavyweight by the name of Lucas Steele, the 23 year old is only a few years deep in his career having turned his back on being a potential olympic hopeful in boxing. Lucas is looked upon as a potential next big thing across the brand and they are hoping given time he can live up to this potential. The second recruit is even younger as we know that 19 year old Scotty Davis has also reported to the UK Performance Center. Scotty was said to be highly recommended to Triple H by Jordan Devlin in particular and it was UK Wrestling legend Robbie Brookside who personally went out of his way to recruit the youngster with the belief being that with so much talent at a young age, Scotty Davis is a star in the making.

~ Having made quite an impression in her guest appearances for the brand, it is no surprise to learn that Bea Priestley has signed on to become a member of the UK Brand. Similar to Lizzy Styles, Bea is seen as a natural heel who is capable of generating real heat for herself. Priestley will begin her official tenure as a member of the brand following UK Showcase 5. Rumors indicate that she will be aligned with the recently signed Jamie Hayter.

~ Lastly a push has been called to order for Zack Gibson. Looked upon by many as the full package, Gibson has been touted by some as a potential top name in the brand given the right opportunity. Unfortunately for him in some ways with his team with James Drake being as good as it is, the brand for a while was hesitant at splitting up such an established duo. We know however there has been talk of potentially adding a third member to the team so that Gibson can get his chance to go singles. A rumored name to replace him in the duo is "Superbad" Kip Sabian.
