    My semi-finals picks are Buddy Murphy, Pete Dunne, Devilin & Tyler Bate.

    I'd love to see Keith Lee advance but I think you will give Devilin the shine. Idea of Bate meeting Trent within the tournament after their storied history is pretty awesome and perhaps going to be the standout match of the tournament.

    Still backing Pete Dunne! Dunne vs Banks at Showcase 4 in Cardiff would be so sweet. Champion vs King. I like it.
    Cheers for the feedback dude, I'm glad to know you are still enjoying my work with the UK Brand. The General manager storyline has been a delight to go with so far and that's definitely something I've got some great plans in the tank for. The King of the Ring has truly been a lot of fun to write as I'm a big fan of tournaments as a whole and this for me is a prestigious one which I'm thrilled to be doing justice for. Bate/Seven in the tournament is definitely one which makes sense, I don't want to give too much away but there's going to be a match in the round after this which will very much be just as much as a standout I hope. Thanks once again for the comments dude!

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 058 ~ All these things I Hate
    Swansea, Wales
    27/12/18

    Dusted by Astroid Boys begins to play as this latest edition of the UK Brand kicks off with a video package highlighting the previous show. This video package begins with Toni Storm handing Kay lee Ray her first loss in the UK Brand before it follows with Fabian Aichner demolishing Luke Menzies. After this portion of the video comes to an end, the focus turns to the King of the Ring tournament and how Buddy Murphy advanced to the semi finals having beaten Mark Andrews. With this this week's show opens from Swansea, Wales and after we see the electric crowd in attendance both Doug Williams and John Gooden would send us to the ring for our opening contest.

    Match One: The Coffey Brothers vs The Iron Lions ~ UK Tag Team Championships

    Kicking off the night would be tag team action as the champions the Coffey Brothers put their titles on the line against a veteran duo of Andrew Simmons and James Tighe aka The Iron Lions. This duo of veterans knowing that they had a big opportunity and wanting nothing more than to make a statement used every trick they had in the book throughout this contest to get an edge on the champions. While usually he liked to remain impartial Doug Williams acknowledged that he was rooting for the challengers having come up with them back in the day. Unfortunately for the challengers in the end the champs would be too much for them as Mark Coffey caught Simmons in mid air with a red forearm while Joe Coffey put down James Tighe with the Black Coffey clothesline.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match and still champions The Coffey Brothers!

    The crowd cheers loudly as the announcement is made and with the help of his brother Joe Coffey makes it to his feet. After being handed their titles, both Mark Coffey and Joe stand tall in the ring after another successful defense.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Footage filmed from the end of last week's show is then played and it focuses on a dejected Mark Andrews returning to the back following his defeat at the hands of Buddy Murphy. Still feeling the effects of this loss, Mark as he limps towards the locker room begins to take note of what looks to be a ticket on the door. The back of the ticket clearly displays an anti fun police logo and Andrews is quick to screw it up before casting it aside. Unfortunately as he opens the door he is sprayed directly in the face with what appears to be pepper spray by 'Chief Deputy' Damian Dunne. While Andrews collapses to the floor Dunne begins to attack his knee whilst berating him for his continued violations of the No Fun Zone. Dragging Andrews towards the locker room door, it appears that Dunne prepared to crush his leg with the door only for officials and security to hit the scene to stop the assault before it went any further.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Following this the cameras would take us to the corridor of the building where there is a large commotion accompanied with a bevy of bodies as security and officials were on the scene. Shouting out at one another are four of the UK Brand's tag teams as Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, Zack Gibson, James Drake, Clement Petoit, Marcel Barthel, Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown all screaming at one another. This would be until Wade Barrett rushed onto the scene having heard the commotion. Demanding answers about what's going on, Wade listened in as the teams revealed that they all wanted the next shot at the Coffey Brothers. After listening intently Wade was quick to remind all the teams that they had previously all had their shot and come up short. Yet he is not against second chances, but rather than make a decision now Wade promises that he will make an announcement about the UK Tag Team Championships next week as he wants to weigh up his options.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Two: Rhea Ripley vs Gisele Shaw

    Having been rescheduled after the actions of Rhea Ripley last week, the pressure was on Gisele Shaw here as she took on Ripley in her UK Brand debut. The young woman from the Philippines looked impressive thanks to her athleticism in the early going. Yet soon experience and power would come into play as Rhea Ripley firmly took over having been frustrated by Shaw. It wouldn't take long soon after for Rhea to finish her with the Riptide.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Rhea Ripley!

    The crowd boos as the announcement is made but despite the match being over it is clear that Rhea is not done with Gisele Shaw. Punishing her with punches and stomps, Ripley's assault continued as she trapped Shaw in a cloverleaf submission. This would be until Tegan Nox rushed down to the ring, releasing the hold Rhea faced off with the champion as she reminded her of the no contact rule. From here the smug Ripley exited the ring while Tegan tended to Shaw.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Taking us away from ringside the cameras now direct us toward the general manager's office where Katarina Leigh is standing by along with Dakota Kai. Speaking openly about the house of couture situation, Dakota calls the issues they have been having something that no one can move on from until it is settled and Jinny's house is brought down. Katarina for her part nods her head as she acknowledges she understands where Dakota is coming from and is not impressed with the west side story like shenanigans as of late. With that Katarina follows by granting Kai a match tonight with Jinny in which the House of Couture as well as Dakota's allies will all be barred from ringside.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    After suffering a beating at the hands of Rhea Ripley once more
    Gisele Shaw finds herself in familiar surroundings as she sits in the trainers office. Standing by in the corner of the room is a concerned Tegan Nox. After hearing the doctor saw that Gisele will be fine, Nox sighs in relief before asking Shaw how she's feeling. Gisele comments that she's been through worse but at the same time understands part of this is paying her dues. Tegan listens in intently before commenting that what Rhea has been doing to her is too much, yet Shaw counters that this is a trial by fire for her. With that Shaw makes a shocking decision to challenge Tegan to a match next week in order to continue to see how she fares against the best. Despite being taken aback by this Tegan accepts.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Playing across the titantron is footage filmed from earlier on this evening as it shows
    Kay Lee Ray making her way to the building. Keeping her head down, Kay Lee Ray is very much keeping herself to herself until she finds herself surrounded by the Female Fight Factory and Chakara. As she stares down this House of Couture contingent Kay Lee Ray soon sees Jinny sitting down nearby applying some make up to herself. Forever smug Jinny despite being quite respectful to Kay Lee comes off very disingenuous as she states that she admires how Kay Lee wants to go it on her own. But as Jinny says there is only so long she can be on her own in this world and it's about time she makes the right friends. With that Jinny asks for her to join the House of Couture and even goes as far as to advise Kay Lee on considering the consequences should she refuse. Despite this threat looming Kay Lee Ray refuses to join the House of Couture. This would definitely have it's share of consequences as April Davids blasted Kay Lee Ray with a forearm to the back of the head knocking her to the ground. From here Laura Di Matteo and Killer Kelly along with Chakara would put the boots to her while Jinny watched on.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Three: Fabian Aichner vs BT Gunn

    The following contest of the night was a special challenge match as BT Gunn had been out for Aichner's head ever since he debuted and attacked Wolfgang. Notably unlike some of the others who went up against Aichner, BT Gunn showed little in the way of intimidation against Fabian. Yet despite his best efforts to take the fight to Aichner. It seemed that he could never truly get the better of the Italian. Continuing to live up to his moniker of the next level, Aichner again showed himself to be the perfect blend of speed and power and once more it'd be that vicious dropkick of his that would lead to the end as Gunn was shown to whiplash off the canvas on it landing. In fact before Aichner could do anymore damage to Gunn, the referee would call for the bell.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Fabian Aichner!

    The crowd reaction remains mixed until Fabian Aichner shoves the referee down to the canvas. From here he proceeds to mount BT Gunn and pummel him with punches and elbows reminiscent of what he did to Travis Banks. This is till the champion himself comes through the crowd and hits the ring. Aichner gets to his feet but Banks is able to double leg him and bring him down to the canvas. From here both men jostle for position while trading shots with one another until they are forced apart by security. The crowd meanwhile is rabid as Banks and Aichner continue to shout threats at one another.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Having now been granted her own interview show, it would be time for the first installment of a walk through the rose garden as
    Joanna Rose sat down across from Kenny Williams. Looking to ask the hard questions as she has done so through her time in the UK Brand, Joanna candidly speaks with Kenny about his past with Morgan Webster. A solemn Kenny Williams states that he and Morgan were friends, they had been for a long time. While at points there had been some competitive rivalry between the two of them, Kenny states he knew Morgan would have his back just as he would him. Which is why it confused him when Morgan threw it all away because of money. Speaking openly about the bounty put on him by Gideon Grey many months ago, Kenny calls it a trying time in his life as Gideon looked to end his career. Commenting that Morgan had gotten hurt, Kenny admits that perhaps he could have been there more for him. But at the same time he had a lot on his plate himself and rather than have Kenny's back, Morgan chose to put a knife in it. Stating that he hoped he could make Morgan see the light, Kenny admits he knows that's not possible now and he has to give up on saving his friend.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Still fired up following his confrontation with Aichner,
    Travis Banks is escorted into the parking lot by security while a livid Wade Barrett stands by. Despite Banks' attempts to justify his actions, Wade says that he told him to stay away from Aichner and it's under GM's orders that he is to be removed from the building. As a seething Banks is pulled outside, Wade is met by Katarina Leigh who asks him what is going on. Calling Banks' actions rash and stating that it's behavior like that which is why Katarina's job integrity was questioned, Wade states that he has sent him home. Katarina for her part doesn't seem impressed with this as when she asks about Aichner, Wade talks of him like the victim in this situation. Before this conversation can continue however Wade states that he has something he wants to talk to her about in regards to the women's championship match at UK Showcase 4.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Four: Jinny vs Dakota Kai

    With their respective cliques banned from ringside it would be one on one action as Jinny took on Dakota Kai. This was a hard hitting contest between the two with the viciousness and mean streak of Jinny firmly on display. Kai for her part was resilient as ever and even picked up a very close near fall following a coast to coast style dropkick. Towards the end of the match Dakota Kai looked to have things won when a distraction from Xia Brookside of all people allowed Jinny to put Kai down with the Touch of Couture for the victory.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Jinny!

    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and Jinny has her arm raised in the ring. While Jinny celebrates her victory, we see at ringside a stoic Xia Brookside watching on.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Fading away from ringside, the cameras direct us to the locker room area where
    Josh Bodom is standing by. Talking openly about the mistakes he has made in his past, Josh states that being young, dumb and stupid he aligned himself with the wrong people and it turned him into something he wasn't. Stating this is a mistake he has learned from, Josh states that for a while it took people some time to get used to this being the real him but that one person had his back in Charlie Garrett. Stating that this poser calling himself Charlie Sterling is not the man he once knew, Josh continues by saying he now sees Charlie falling in the same trap he once did when it comes to aligning himself with the wrong people. Which is why he will do what no one was able to do for him and save Charlie Garrett before it's too late.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Returning backstage following her victory a smug
    Jinny snaps her fingers and her intern Chakara is quick to bring her a glass of chilled mineral water. After taking a sip and spitting it on the floor, Jinny dumps the rest over Chakara's head before scolding her about the temperature. While Chakara rushes off to get it right, Jinny turns to see "The Present" Bill Eaver standing by with Xia Brookside. Cracking a smile Jinny shakes hands with Eaver before the reason for this alliance is revealed. Claiming to have done all her can and having led Xia so far, Eaver introduces her to her new mentor and role model Jinny who he calls someone who has embraced the philosophy of today being the greatest day of her life. As Jinny smirks Xia takes a step forward while Eaver vanishes down the hallway. Chakara then returns on the scene as Jinny introduces her to her fellow intern.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Main Event: Kassius Ohno vs Pete Dunne ~ King of the Ring ~ Quarter Final

    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and this would be a quarter final match in the king of the ring tournament as Pete Dunne battled Kassius Ohno. As one might expect from the two men involved in this contest, this was a hard hitting collision and a true battle of wills. Both men would have their moments throughout the contest which was packed full of near falls. The ending conclusion of this match saw both men exhausted and beaten down with Ohno looking to end things with a discus elbow but as he spun round he was met with an elbow from Dunne. This rocked Ohno and allowed Pete to follow with the Bitter End for the victory.

    Shepherd: and the winner of the match Pete Dunne!

    The crowd cheers in appreciation of the contest they have just witness. Slowly Pete Dunne pulls himself to his feet using the ropes for support before he gets his arm raised in victory. While Pete Dunne begins to do his signature pose Kassius Ohno began to get to his feet in the corner. Once he is to his feet Ohno would extend a hand in respect to the Bruiserweight while the crowd cheered. This would be until a dismissive Pete Dunne shook his head and stormed backstage as the show come to a close.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    Been a while since I commented in here but I've still been reading and still enjoying as always. The highlight for me is the Banks/Aichner stuff, just awesome, old school booking. Fabian comes across as such a huge star here.

    The GM stuff I think I have an idea of where it's going, and I'm enjoying it. In the early weeks I felt there were maybe too many segments with them in and I was starting to burn out on it, but it's gotten better recently. While it is clearly one of your biggest stories, given it involves two non-wrestlers it could have a week off to give it time to breathe I think, especially with such a loaded roster.

    King of the Ring has been a lot of fun so far. Shame to see Ohno go out in the quarters but Dunne has to be one of the biggest favourites to take it, so I get it. Love that Buddy got through to the Semi, I think it's important if you have guests participating to have some of them progress well. Would love to see Keith Lee get to the Semis so far but genuinely no idea where you go with that. The stip of the title match is an interesting one too given you are going so hard on the Fabian/Banks angle.

    But yeah, still reading, still enjoying. Good fun as always.

    Cheers for the feedback Keef mate. Really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Banks/Aichner has been a joy to write for in truth. Especially with everyone but them wanting to keep them apart. I have some really interesting moves I'm going to be making with these two in the future as well. Can totally understand where you are coming from with the GM story. The show sort of took a shift following the last show case with a heavy amount of segments taking over as opposed to ring work. That was partly by design but also by mistake as I wanted to push the story but I may have gone a tad overboard in the early going. Not to give much away but I have a lot instore for both Katarina and Wade in the coming future. Glad you are enjoying the King of the Ring tournament so far man. Ohno going out was defo a shame but similar to the elimination of Harper. Despite my fandom for the guys, there was only so far they could go with what I've got planned. Murphy on the other hand has definitely progressed well and he's someone I've enjoyed writing for. What I like as well is that I have an interesting story in mind for his next match to tell. Cheers once more for the feedback Keef, really appreciate it dude!

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 059 ~ You want a Battle?
    Newport, Wales
    3/1/19

    Dusted by Astroid Boys begins to play as this latest edition of the UK Brand kicks off with a video package highlighting the previous show. This video package begins with the Coffey brothers retaining their tag team titles against the Iron Lions. Footage then turned to the vicious beat down Kay Lee Ray received at the hands of the House of Couture. Finally the video would then come to an end with clips of how Pete Dunne defeated Kassius Ohno to advance in the King of the Ring tournament. Once this video comes to an end this latest show opens up from Newport. After hyping up the show, both Doug Williams and John Gooden direct us to ringside where we see the entire UK Brand roster gathered around the ringside area.

    Standing in the ring along with Katarina Leigh is the UK Brand's management consultant Wade Barrett. The reaction to Wade from the audience is noticeably quite hostile as at points he is drowned out by boos. Despite this Wade has a big smirk on his face as he thanks everyone for coming out here tonight for his address, commenting that he has a bevy of things to discuss. Wade promises that he will do his upmost to keep it brief as he knows that everyone wants to get this show rolling and that he has other business to attend to throughout the night.

    While Katarina listens in as every time she goes to speak, she is intercepted by Wade. Wade states that the first port of call is the situation involving the UK Tag Team Championships. As the cameras focus on the Coffey brothers, Wade compliments the champions for their success in the brand. Praising their dominant run, Wade then also gives his respect and admiration to the division itself which despite having such a fearsome duo at the front, still has a bunch of hungry, talented pairings more than ready for a second crack at the gold.

    Which is why Wade and Katarina have elected to simply give everyone their shot at the titles. Because at the UK Showcase, Wade announces that the Coffey Brothers will defend their titles in a tag team turmoil match! The crowd in attendance cheers loudly at this announcement while we see shots of various tag teams at ringside who seem equally pleased with the verdict. Before Wade can continue his series of announcements however the United Kingdom Champion Travis Banks climbs into the ring and shockingly snatches a microphone from Katarina's hands.

    While Katarina looks on in shock, Travis then confronts Wade Barrett before he remarks that he is sick and tired of all the crap put in front of him by the general manager. Stating that week in and week out, Travis has demanded a shot at Fabian Aichner. Banks states that he is sick of waiting and sick of people holding him back which is why he is taking the initiative now. Pointing directly at a smug Aichner who is standing by in the crowd, Banks holds his title in the air before he lays it on the canvas and dares him to take it from him if he truly thinks he is the real UK Champion.

    Leaping the rail, Aichner rushes to the ring while an angered Wade Barrett demands that people step between them. Several superstars manage to catch Aichner before he can hit the ring but all this does is hold him in place for a suicide dive from Banks to a loud pop from the crowd. Aichner goes down and Banks begins to rain punches down onto him before he is pulled away by security. Climbing to his feet a livid Aichner begins swatting people away as he rushes for Banks. These two begin brawling through the group until a livid Wade Barrett also steps between them while the crowd continues chanting let them fight. With sheer rage in his voice, Barrett demands both men be taken backstage as this address comes to an end.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match One: Tegan Nox vs Gisele Shaw

    The first match of the night would be non title action as Tegan Nox battled young prospect Gisele Shaw. Having laid down the challenge to the champion last week, Shaw was quick to shake her hand in respect as the match began. Surprisingly this contest would see Shaw land a lot of offense as she aggressively went after the champion, looking to prove herself. This even included her landing a basement dropkick to Tegan's knee which she has had documented issues with. Despite this the champion was able to battle back before she finally put her challenger away with the shining wizard.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Tegan Nox!

    The crowd in attendance cheers as the announcement is made and Tegan Nox gets to her feet in the ring. Despite having a slight limp following that dropkick, Nox celebrates her win before she helps Shaw to her feet. Tegan then offers her opponent a handshake which Shaw accepts. As she does so however Tegan catches sight of Rhea Ripley on the entrance ramp. With her attention turned, Tegan has her knee kicked out by Gisele Shaw. Nox drops to a knee and Shaw follows up with an axe kick across the back of the head as the stunned crowd begins to boo. Gisele then leaves the ring and heads up the ramp while a smug Ripley applauds her.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Cutting away from ringside, the cameras then direct us towards the locker room area where both Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey are standing by. Despite having the odds stacked against them at the UK Showcase 4, both Mark Coffey and Joe Coffey seem to relish this challenge. Stating that they have so far cleared out the division and beaten everyone put in front of them, The Coffey Brothers continue by saying that they will never back down from a challenge and while they know that the odds are against them in this match, they are more than ready for the challenge and will leave with their titles around their waist.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    As she begins to direct us on our second walk through the rose garden, a proud Joanna Rose is joined by her guest for the evening Mark Andrews. With a noted limp from his attack last week at the hands of Damian Dunne, Andrews is candid as Joanna immediately begins to question Mark on what is going on with them two. Andrews for his part admits that when Dunne came to the UK Brand, Mark thought all of his no fun antics and the no fun zone remarks to be a joke. Acknowledging that Damian's in ring abilities were never in doubt, Andrews continues by saying that while Damian may come off as hokey. Mark states he now sees Damian for what he really is. Branding him as nothing more than an elitist who wants to oppress anyone who doesn't conform to his ideals. Andrews calls him nothing more than a wannabe tyrant who wants control and will resort to any tactics no matter how shameless to get that control. Closing this interview, Andrews states that he no longer sees Damian as a joke. Instead he sees Damian for what he is, a grown up bully who no one has stood up to before. Which is why Andrews next time will take the fight to him!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Two: Damian Dunne vs Local

    Not happy with what he saw from Mark Andrews interview Damian Dunne had a chance to take out some of his frustrations in the next contest of the night. Matched up with a local competitor, the chief deputy of the no fun zone dominated his young opponent from the opening bell. After a short contest Damian Dunne finished off his opponent with a single knee face buster.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Damian Dunne!

    The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made and Damian Dunne rises to his feet. After getting his arm raised in the air, Dunne mockingly writes his opponent a ticket before he slaps it across his fallen foes' face.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Following the match, the cameras direct us towards the corridor of the arena where a confrontation is taking place between Morgan Webster and Kenny Williams. These former friends are very much trading barbs at one another as Morgan continues to remark that Kenny cast him aside while Williams instead brands Webster as a little man with a massive ego who always wants to be the star. As the argument reaches its peak, Kenny challenges Webster to a fight then and there but instead of accept Morgan instead breaks out into a smirk as Kenny is attacked from behind by Wild Boar. As Williams hits the ground both Webster and Boar begin to put the boots to him while Webster takes the time to tell Kenny that they will fight on Morgan's terms not his!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    From here we are taken to the general manager's office where Wade Barrett is in the middle of a meeting with a fired up Dakota Kai. Unhappy with what had transpired last week in her match with Jinny, Kai says she is sick of Jinny and her squad constantly causing her problems and costing her victories. Nodding his head, Wade remarks that he understands before he remarks that he and Katarina are set to address the House of Couture situation very soon. In the meantime, Wade states that he can't punish Jinny for last week as Xia Brookside when the match transpired was not technically a member of her team. But what he can do is give Dakota Kai a match with Xia Brookside tonight!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Three: Aussie Open, Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown vs Grizzled Young Vets, Clement Petoit and Marcel Barthel

    With the announcement of the tag team turmoil match, we'd get a preview of sorts with four of the teams set to feature in the bout. Having all been involved in a tense confrontation last week, it was no surprise that there was some tension between the teams as they were forced to work together here. This match very much was pure chaos but total fun for the audience as it led to a thrilling conclusion with every man being taken out with a big move. Near the end Ashton Smith had the bout won as he blasted Barthel with a superkick yet before he could make the pin, he'd be spun round and drilled with a DDT by James Drake who was in fact the legal man and was able to steal the pin.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match James Drake, Zack Gibson, Marcel Barthel and Clement Petoit!

    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and James Drake gets to his feet in the ring. Drake is quickly embraced by Gibson before the two get their arms raised. Meanwhile at ringside Clement Petoit helps Barthel to his feet and despite their victory the two glare at the Grizzled Young Vet duo not impressed with their future opponents.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    After their awkward interaction earlier on Katarina Leigh walks through the corridors of the building before she finds a pissed off Travis Banks heading towards the exit. Shockingly Banks reveals that he spoke with Wade and he knows that he and Katarina have elected to suspend Banks until the UK Showcase. Shaking her head, Katarina reveals that she never spoke to Wade and that while yes she did keep Banks off a couple of weeks to recover from that last match, but she was not responsible for him continuously being sent home each week following his return. Promising Banks that he is not suspended, Katarina states that she will resolve this matter by the end of the night!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Clips caught from earlier on in the day are then shown as we see Josh Bodom arrive to the building. As Josh begins to make his way through the corridor he finds himself met by Bill Eaver. Despite Bodom's hostility towards his charges not too mention his questioning of Eaver's methods, Bill Eaver appears happy to see Josh. Bodom meanwhile demands to know what Eaver wants when to his surprise, Eaver starts to praise Josh. Calling Josh a talented young man with a world of potential, Eaver claims that he reminds him a lot of Sterling in that while he has a lot of potential he needs guidance to truly reach it. With that Eaver offers to mentor Bodom but Bodom rejects this offer before he walks off down the hall.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    After this the cameras show Wade Barrett beginning to make his way towards his office. Yet as he nears the office Wade finds himself met by Chris Brookes. Lacking his usual confidence and bravado, Brookes seems almost unsure of himself as he asks Wade for a moment of his time. As Wade listens in Brookes makes his pitch as he wants in the tag team turmoil match at the UK Showcase. On hearing Brookes out, Wade remarks that he likes Chris but Chris has been in a major slump lately, same time he is willing to give him the opportunity if Brookes can find himself a tag team partner!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Four: Dakota Kai vs Xia Brookside w/Chakara

    Having requested this bout earlier on in the evening, Dakota Kai had a chance to get her hands on Xia Brookside here. Looking for revenge after Xia cost her a victory last week, Kai very much punished Brookside in the early going. This would be until a distraction by Chakara allowed Brookside to catch her with a reverse DDT for a near fall. As the match progressed with Brookside in control, Xia began to get ahead of herself as she started taunting her fallen opponent. This proved a mistake as Kai rallied back and eventually picked up the win following the Kairopractor.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Dakota Kai!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made but as Kai gets to her feet she is attacked by Chakara. Chakara manages to get off a few punches until Kai fires back and blasts her with a kick to the jaw. Chakara falls out to the floor alongside Brookside while the cameras cut backstage. It is there we see a brawl taking place as the House of Couture are being laid to waste by the group of Toni Storm, Charlie Morgan, Kasey Owens, Millie McKenzie and Kay Lee Ray! Kai begins to rush backstage as she looks to join in the battle but as she arrives on the scene, she finds that security and officials have managed to break up the battle between the warring female factions.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Taking us away from the confrontation, the cameras then direct us towards the locker room where Pete Dunne is standing by. Before Dunne can speak to the cameras about his King of the Ring tournament progress, much to his annoyance he is joined by Trent Seven. Things are tense between the duo as Seven comes off insincere when he praises Dunne's efforts thus far in the King of the Ring. Trent then starts to talk about his match with Bate next week and how when he wins, he will be facing Pete in the semi finals. Yet before Seven can even finish making his point Dunne storms out of the locker room.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The cameras then roll to the general manager's office where Wade Barrett is standing by with Fabian Aichner. Yet before we can hear any of their conversation, they are interrupted by the arrival of Katarina Leigh. Katarina is visibly angered as she demands to talk to Wade, yet soon she directs her attention to the smug Fabian Aichner. Commenting that Wade is the only reason he has not been fired. Katarina then reveals that she has made a decision and that after talking with Travis Banks herself, opening up the show next week will be Travis Banks vs Fabian Aichner 2!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Main Event: Jordan Devlin vs Keith Lee ~ King of the Ring ~ Quarter Final

    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and it would be a quarter final match between two beloved superstars as Jordan Devlin took on Keith Lee. While the crowd was fans of both men, it appeared that the audience soon rallied around Jordan who had to go up against the mammoth Keith Lee. The story of the contest very much would be that despite his heart and his valiant efforts, Devlin would take a beating thanks to the sheer power of Keith Lee. This huge power and explosiveness of Keith Lee very much cut off any attempt at offense in the early going from Jordan, including a moment when Keith caught Jordan from a slingshot cutter and planted him with a storm zero for a near fall. Continuing his domination, Keith Lee would blast Devlin with a pounce sending him falling to the floor. Yet as Keith stood on the apron, he took a costly moment to bask in his own glory and this allowed Jordan to hop up onto the apron before taking him down with a Spanish fly onto the floor. Despite taking this move, Keith was the first up to his feet as he returned Devlin to the ring. Jordan to his credit was able to mount some offense including a nasty headbutt which rocked Lee. As the tide began to change in the match, Devlin began to counter Keith before rocking him with a enzugiri kick to the side of the head. In a shocking moment Jordan then hoisted Keith up onto his shoulders before planting him down into the canvas with the Ireland's call to a pop from the crowd. Despite being exhausted Jordan then made a cover for the match winning pin fall.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Jordan Devlin!

    The crowd cheers loudly as the announcement is made and slowly Jordan Devlin can get to his feet in the ring. After getting his arm raised in the air, Jordan Devlin takes a moment to recollect himself in the corner while the referee tends to Keith Lee. Having sat up a disappointed Keith Lee would rise to his feet before him and Devlin stared down. After a few moments, Keith Lee graciously raised Jordan's arm in the air as the show came to a close.

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 060 ~ Don't Need You
    Bangor, Wales
    10/1/19

    Dusted by Astroid Boys begins to play as this latest edition of the UK Brand kicks off with a video package highlighting the previous show. This video package begins with highlights of Katarina and Wade's address which ended with a brawl between Travis Banks and Fabian Aichner. After this we'd be shown Gisele Shaw stabbing Tegan Nox in the back as she aligned herself with Rhea Ripley. The video would then culminate with Jordan Devlin advancing to the semi finals of the King of the Ring tournament with his victory over Keith Lee. With that the video came to an end and this week's show officially opened from Bangor, Wales. Doug Williams and John Gooden would then begin to hype up tonight's show before they'd send us to the ring for the opening bout.

    Match One: Travis Banks vs Fabian Aichner

    Kicking off the show would be arguably one of the more anticipated bouts in the UK Brand history as UK Champion Travis Banks got his rematch against Fabian Aichner. Though calling this a match very much would be an understatement as instead this was a war. A true battle of attrition between two men who could not stand one another. This was punctuated in the early going with Banks charging across the ring with a boot right to the jaw of Aichner. From here Banks took the fight to Aichner in the corner drilling him with elbows, punches, knees and kicks until Fabian was able to blast him with a heavy forearm strike. This allowed for Aichner to begin to mount some offense of his own as he battered Banks across the ring with heavy strikes before driving him back first into the turnbuckle. Aichner proceeded to work over Banks' midsection with several shoulder strikes until Banks countered an attempt with a knee directly to the top of the head. With Aichner dazed, Banks quickly connected with the slice of heaven kick sending Aichner falling out through the ropes and down to the floor. Fired up Travis Banks then hit the ropes before he ran off and went for a big dive through the ropes to the floor on Aichner. Yet as he does so, Banks notably caught his face on the guard rail while the crowd in attendance are on their feet. Slowly Travis Banks gets to his feet and he is fired up as he lets out a primal roar, yet as he does so the cameras pull away thanks to a bad cut being opened over his eye. Bleeding heavily, Banks continues to beat on Aichner until the cameras shift to the bottom of the ramp where Wade Barrett is ordering the referee to throw out the match.

    Shepherd: Ladies and Genetleman.. this match has been ruled a no contest!

    There are loud boos from the crowd in attendance who are disatisfied with this non finish to the match. Banks is also livid with the result as he tosses Aichner into the ring, yet as he goes to get up on the apron he is snatched back by security and officials. Aichner is able to escape and he leaves the ring before disappearing backstage while a livid Barrett demands for Banks to get treatment on that cut asap.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Much to the chagrin of the crowd in attendance, focus would then turn to footage filmed from earlier on in the week as we saw Chris Brookes begin his quest to find a tag team partner. His search would take him to a live event where Brookes would approach several superstars including Noam Dar, Jack Gallagher and even Katarina's associate Luke Menzies. In these three separate scenes we see how of the three, it is Luke Menzies who is the most respectful in refuting the offer as he states with the Barrett and Leigh situation at the moment, his hands are full. Dar and Gallagher on the other hand are a lot more disrespectful as they both cite the turmoil idea as a great one but rather than team with someone like Brookes, they agree to enter it together!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Having interupted the opening match of the night and ordered medical treatment for the UK Champion, a livid Wade Barrett returns to the general manager's office where he finds an equally angry Katarina Leigh standing by. This is a tense meeting as both members of management are clearly angry with one another as Katarina accuses Wade of a power play while Wade calls her overly emotional and says her recklessness has now put Banks at risk for showcase if his cut doesn't heal right. Despite the repeated back and forth bickering eventually cooler heads prevail as Katarina asks about Banks, Wade responds that he is about to go and check on him to see how he is doing and once he has done so he will let her know.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Two: Kenny Williams vs Damian Dunne

    It would then be time for singles action as Kenny Williams battled "Chief Deputy" Damian Dunne. Clearly from the opening going Damian Dunne was disgusted with Kenny Williams who he saw as in violation of the No Fun Zone. This would lead to a surprisingly heated, back and forth affair between the two, yet anytime Williams truly took over a bemused Dunne would dart out to the floor in an effort to recollect himself and berate the fans informing them that they were having too much fun. As the match would progress Williams looked to have the match won following a reverse hurricanrana, yet before he could make the cover Kenny was blindsided with a running forearm by Morgan Webster.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match as a result of a disqualification Kenny Williams!

    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Morgan Webster continues putting the boots to Kenny Williams. Joined by his associate Wild Boar, Morgan Webster continues to work over Kenny. Soon they are joined in this assualt by Damian Dunne when a chair wielding Mark Andrews runs down to the ring. Swinging the chair wildly Andrews is able to connect with a shot across the back of Wild Boar sending him falling out of the ring. Andrews continues to flail the chair around as Dunne and Webster bailed. From here Andrews checks on the downed Williams while the crowd voices their support for Williams and Andrews.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Now the cameras direct us to the locker room and we see Jordan Devlin sitting down by a monitor as he watches tonight's show. This is until his opponent for next week in the King of the Ring Semi Finals Buddy Murphy walks into the room. Things are tense between the two as the smug, arrogant Buddy is clearly looking down his nose at Devlin. Branding Jordan as a choker and someone who constantly falls flat on his face when it comes time to the big one. Murphy follows up by expressing his delight at having such an easy bout in the semi finals. As Murphy leaves, Jordan Devlin promises that he may have faltered in the past but that was then and this is now and come next week he will be in the King of the Ring finals!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A promo video then plays set to the tune of "Just like the old Days" by The Swayback. This video put together focuses very much on the history shared by both Tyler Bate and Trent Seven. Starting out the clips would focus on the mentorship as Trent Seven trained Tyler Bate and very much acted as a father figure to him throughout his life. During this we'd cut to clips of the two men talking presently. Tyler Bate, ever humble and respectful says that if it wasn't for Trent Seven he wouldn't be where he is today. Seven meanwhile would take full credit for everything, as he comments that he discovered Bates and got him where he is. Which makes Seven mad to hear no one give him the respect he deserves for what he has given to this business.

    Continuing on the package then slowly transitions to their time with WWE. Key moments in their relationship in the WWE would be shown from some of their battles with the Undisputed Era as well as Tyler's victory to become the UK Champion. In their moments to speak Bate spoke happily of this time as he stated what made his win all the more greater was knowing that he had Trent with him. Seven on the other hand is remarkably bitter as he talks about how he was fine and happy for Tyler having his moment, what he wasn't happy about was how quick everyone forgot about the part Trent Seven played in this.

    Taking a dark turn, the video then focuses on the first UK Showcase which culminated with Trent Seven attacking Tyler Bate with a chair. Solemnly Bate calls that night not just the worst in his career but also one of the worst in his life. Saying Seven's betrayal literally broke his heart, Bate finishes by saying that it took him a long time to get over what happened that night. Seven meanwhile calls his actions a move which was made for the survival of his career. Commenting that he was put out to pasture by everyone, he says that everyone now talks about Trent Seven. Turning to the future, both men then address their match in the King of the Ring tournament and the tournament as a whole. Bate calls participating in this tournament a dream come true before he calls it poetic that his next big moment will come at the expense of Trent Seven. Seven meanwhile closes out this promo by claiming that he built Tyler Bate and tonight to get to the semi finals of the King of the Ring, he will break him!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    In a scene which may very much seem familiar to some, the cameras bring us to the hallway of the arena where Gisele Shaw is admiring herself in a mirror. This is until she is blindsided from behind and slammed face first into the mirror by Tegan Nox. As Shaw falls to the ground Nox begins to berate her for stabbing her in the back the previous week. Shaw slowly staggers to her feet and Nox blasts her with an elbow to the jaw. This backs up Gisele who tries to beg off from Tegan, yet Tegan is merciless as she continues to attack Shaw driving her into a wall before beating her down to the ground. Before Tegan can continue to dole out any damage, officials rush to the scene and pull her away.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Three: Wolfgang and BT Gunn vs Iron Lions

    Match three would then take place and it'd feature two teams confirmed by our commentators who will be taking part in the tag team turmoil match at the UK Showcase. These 4 veterans would put on entertaining back and forth battle in this bout with both Simmons and Tighe looking to impress in particular. Yet despite their impressive showing throughout, it would be Wolfgang and BT Gunn who got their hands raised as BT Gunn took out himself and Andrew Simmons with a suicide dive allowing Wolfgang to put down James Tighe with the howling.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Wolfgang and BT Gunn!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Wolfgang gets to his feet in the ring. Soon Wolfgang is joined by BT Gunn and the two get their arms raised in the air to a pop from the crowd in attendance.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Directing us backstage, the cameras then take us towards the women's locker room where Kay Lee Ray is in the middle of stretching. This is until Toni Storm walks into the room. Toni approaches Kay Lee and looks to show her some respect as she thanks her for her help last week. However before she can continue, Kay Lee Ray is quick to brush her off as she informs her not to get used to that support as it was merely a one off. As she barges past Toni, Kay Lee Ray informs her that she's got a match later on tonight with Jinny and she doesn't want any help.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    After this the cameras take us to the general manager's office where Katarina Leigh is standing by with Jinny. The smug Fashionista appears to be in a bad mood as she listens to the GM inform her of her upcoming bout with Kay Lee Ray. Jinny doesn't seem impressed with this announcement as she calls her opponent trash. Yet her mood only becomes worse as Katarina then follows by stating that there will not be any interference or individuals permitted to be at ringside. Before Jinny can protest this, Katarina follows by stating that she has not been impressed with the antics of the House of Couture and she will be doing something about this next week!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Before we head back to ringside for the next match, focus turns to Chris Brookes and his continual search to find a tag team partner. Yet even before he can speak several wrestlers just simply walk away from him, this is until Chris Brookes finds himself met by Bill Eaver. Eaver for his part is jubilant as ever and he seems pleased especially to see Chris Brookes. Admitting he is aware of Brookes' search, Eaver asks him if he knows why he has been unsuccessful. Brookes is unsure as Eaver with regret informs Chris that he is perceived as nothing more than a loser. Which is why sadly no one is going to want to team with him, Brookes looks to protest this but Eaver responds that it isn't a bad thing. Instead he calls this a great day for Chris Brookes, as today is the day he can begin to change that reputation and be the best that he can be!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Four: Jinny vs Kay Lee Ray

    Women's action would be the next contest of the night as rivals Kay Lee Ray and Jinny clashed. With notable bad blood between them, this was a vicious contest as both women had moments where they elected to make one another suffer rather than take the win. Near the match's conclusion this was especially true for the at times sadistic Jinny who delighted in bending Kay Lee Ray back first against the ring post. Yet soon Jinny's want to punish Kay Lee Ray for being in her words beneath her would backfire as Kay Lee Ray was able to counter a touch of couture attempt and counter with a cradle for an out of nowhere victory.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Kay Lee Ray!

    The crowd pops as the announcement is made and Kay Lee Ray rolls out to the floor. While Kay Lee Ray staggers back against the guard rail and looks to gather herself, in the ring a stunned Jinny begins to argue with the referee accusing him of a fast count.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    As the cameras take us away from ringside, we are then shown our third installment of a walk through the rose garden as Joanna Rose is joined by Josh Bodom. This is a candid interview with Rose at first addressing the changes Bodom has made as a person since he broke away from Mark Haskins. Admitting he was young and was led astray Bodom calls that time one of the worst mistakes he'd made in his life. However he also called it a blessing as he has learned from those mistakes and knows where he went wrong in hindsight. the topic then turns towards Charlie Sterling and his relationship with Bill Eaver. Bodom is quick to reflect on his history with Charlie Garrett as he neglects to call Charlie by this moniker he has taken up. Calling Charlie a close friend who is making similar mistake that he did, which is why Bodom is trying to help him before he falls any further into the clutches of the parasitic Eaver. Closing out this interview, Bodom shockingly challenges Charlie to a match at the UK Showcase.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Following through on his promise earlier on in the night, Wade Barrett is then shown walking into the trainer's office where Travis Banks is being given stitches by a medic. Despite his discomfort Banks pushes the medic to the side as he stands up and squares up to Barrett. Looking to calm things down before they escalate, Wade immediately apologises to Banks for his actions as of late. Admitting that he has been a thorn in his side Wade acknowledges that this was only him wanting to protect his investment in the main event of the UK Showcase. Commenting that he is still new to this, Wade reveals he has only come here to check to see if Banks is OK and to see if they can perhaps start anew. While Banks remains dubious, Wade promises that from this point onwards Travis will see that Wade only has what's best for this brand as his sole intention.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Main Event: Tyler Bate vs Trent Seven ~ King of the Ring ~ Quarter Final

    Finally it was time for the main event of the night as former friends turned foe would collide as Tyler Bate took on Trent Seven. Similar to their other contests both men would look to tear into one another immediately. Taking control in the early going Bate would punish Seven until a well timed cheap shot by Seven allowed Trent back into the fray. The crowd unsurprisingly were solidly behind the ever popular Tyler Bate and would not stop voicing their support for Bate. As the match would continue it appeared that Trent Seven's best moments came after he caught Bate with a cheap shot. Midway through the contest, Pete Dunne was shown standing at the top of the stage watching the action. While Tyler Bate paid no attention to the arrival of Dunne, his appearance played apart in Seven's defeat as a desperate Trent began waving and calling for Pete to help him. This distraction allowed Bate to blast Seven with a rolling kick which put Seven down and allowed Bate to follow up with the Tyler Driver for the victory.

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Tyler Bate!

    The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as the announcement is made and Tyler Bate gets to his feet in the ring. As Tyler Bate begins to celebrate his victory he soon catches sight with an unimpressed Pete Dunne on the stage. These two men then begin to stare off with one another knowing they will be doing battle in the semi finals of the King of the Ring tournament. With that this latest edition of the UK Brand comes to an end.

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    King of the Ring Semi Finals announced!

    With the Quarter Finals now completed, the semi finals of the King of the Ring tournament have been announced. The matches are as followed..

    Jordan Devlin vs Buddy Murphy

    "Since the king of the ring tournament's beginning in the UK Brand, two men to have kept an eye on have been Jordan Devlin and Buddy Murphy respectively. Growing steadily popular by the day, Jordan Devlin's impressive performances in the tournament have been capped off by his tremendous come from behind victory over Keith Lee. Yet despite this questions have still been raised about Devlin, notably by his upcoming opponent cruiserweight champion Buddy Murphy. The brash, powerful champion has commented on Devlin's inability to pull off the big one so to speak which has definitely ramped things up ahead of their coming match. Can Jordan Devlin prove Buddy wrong? or will the cruiserweight champion be one step closer to returning to 205 live as the 2019 King of the Ring?"

    Pete Dunne vs Tyler Bate
    "A match which very much is story of the UK Brand as a whole. Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne very much got the ground rolling for this brand's inception thanks to their thrilling series of matches for the UK Championship in the past. Since that time and the beginning of the UK Brand, the duo have only faced off in singles competition once which was at the first UK Showcase and saw Pete Dunne victorious after the stunning betrayal of Trent Seven towards Bate. Since that time Bate has been at war with Trent and earned his way to this spot in the king of the ring with a victory over Seven, Dunne meanwhile has been possibly as good as he has ever been since the stunning loss of his UK Championship at the hands of Travis Banks. With all this history behind them, who will make it to the king of the ring finals?"

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 061 ~ Waking the Demon
    EBBW, Wales
    17/1/19

    Dusted by Astroid Boys begins to play as this latest edition of the UK Brand kicks off with a video package highlighting the previous show. This starts out with a video package detailing the controversial opening match between Travis Banks and Fabian Aichner before moving on to the main event of the night between long time rivals Tyler Bate and Trent Seven. This would of course culminate with Tyler Bate winning and advancing to the semi finals of the King of the Ring tournament. Once the video comes to an end this week's show officially begins with both Doug Williams and John Gooden hyping up tonight's show. Following this they direct us towards the ring where the champion is standing by.

    Standing in the ring with a microphone in hand is the UK Champion Travis Banks. Still sporting a few stitches over his right eyebrow following his battle with Fabian Aichner last week, Banks cuts a serious figure as he begins to update the fans on the status of his injury. Admitting that at first it looked a lot worse than what it truly was and that his cut is healing and he is cleared to compete. Banks receives some respectful applause from the crowd with this announcement before he then makes it clear that despite the non finish, he is not finished with Fabian Aichner.

    Acknowledging that with the King of the Ring tournament is near completion and he will be the fighting champion he has striven to be and take on the winner of the tournament at the UK Showcase 4. Commenting that he is willing to play ball, Travis Banks follows by saying while he cannot wait to put his title on the line against the winner of such a prestigious tournament. He also knows deep down that this isn't over with Fabian Aichner and he cannot wait to finally settle things once and for all with the so called next level of the UK Brand.

    Before Banks can continue however he is suprisingly interupted by Chris Brookes. Banks definitely appears to be iritated by this interuption as Brookes hits the ring and grabs himself a microphone. Joining Banks in the ring, Chris Brookes totally ignores Travis' warning that for whatever he is out here for, now is not the time to do it. Yet Brookes is totally indignant as he comments that now is exactly the right time for him to be out here to accomplish what he wishes to accomplish. Stating that he is here right now to prove himself and show the world he isn't a loser, Brookes states there is no one better to prove himself against than Travis Banks.

    Banks still doesn't seem impressed as he counters that while he respects anyone trying to prove themselves, he is warning Chris Brookes that tonight is not the night to pick a fight with him. Not after what happened last week with him and Fabian Aichner. Again despite the warning, Chris Brookes refuses to acknowledge these warnings as he shockingly slaps Travis Banks across the face. Screaming at Banks, Brookes comments that he will no longer stand in the shadows and allow himself to be cast aside. Yet this backfires as Banks responds with a headbutt knocking Brookes to the ground. Standing over the dazed Brookes, Banks tells him challenge accepted!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match One: Travis Banks vs Chris Brookes
    With the challenge thrown out there, it would be time for Chris Brookes to prove himself here up against Travis Banks. Known to be fiery and at times overly emotional, it appeared that Banks' temper began to work against him in the early going as Brookes played on this frustration to constantly counter Banks. Seeking to prove himself it would appear that Brookes really was showing signs of his old self deep down, unfortunately for him one part of his old self would also reemerge and that would be his arrogance. This arrogance is what would lead to Banks quickly and effectively taking Chris down by rocking him with an up kick from his back before catching Brookes on the way down in a koji clutch for the submission victory.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Travis Banks!
    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and it has to be said, Travis Banks takes a few extra seconds to release the hold. Once he is finished, Banks climbs to his feet and gets his arm raised by the referee.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    It would then be time for our latest installment of the walk through the rose garden as today Joanna Rose was joined by none other than "The Present" Bill Eaver. Unlike the other editions of this interview segment it appears in the early goings that Bill Eaver is not going to be as candid as the previous subjects. This is shown by his tactile answers to dodge certain subjects such as how some have percieved him as nothing more than a manipulator. His over the top friendly facade in fact could slowly begin to be noticed as slipping as he finally remarked that sometimes in this world extreme methods and out of the box thinking can be misinterpreted and misunderstood and that all he truly wants to accomplish to help further the careers of those who needed some guidance. Changing topic to the goings on with Josh Bodom, Eaver expressed his disappointment that Bodom while needing guidance could not accept the fact that he required help. Which in turn means he cannot be helped, closing out this interview Eaver makes a rather haunting proclamation as he remarks that Bodom will learn very soon to be careful what he wishes for.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Focus then turns to the corridor of the building where Kenny Williams and Mark Andrews are standing by. These two close friends thank one another for their support especially last week before they look to the future. It is here we learn from Mark Andrews that he has a match with Damian Dunne at the UK Showcase and he intends to put a stop to Dunne and his crap once and for all. When talk turns to Kenny and what's going on with Morgan and Boar, he's still not entirely sure what to do but he admits he has a meeting with Wade Barrett later on this evening in the hopes he can end things once and for all.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Two: Jack Gallagher and Noam Dar vs Locals

    Having entered themselves as a team in the tag team turmoil match, the following contest would give the duo of Jack Gallagher and Noam Dar a chance to show just what they could do as a tag team. Despite having not teamed together before and a stark contrast in their personalities, it would seem in this contest against two local talents that both men were very much on the same page. After a short bout, Gallagher would be the one to pick up the victory as he knocked out one of the locals with a headbutt before making the pin.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Noam Dar and Jack Gallagher!

    The crowd boo as the announcement is made and Jack Gallagher climbs to his feet in the ring, Jack is soon joined by Noam Dar and the two men would shake hands while standing tall in victory.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Returning backstage the cameras quickly take us to a situation in the parking lot of the building as we see Kay Lee Ray taking a beating in the parking lot at the hands of the House of Couture. Under the supervision of Jinny who is barking orders at her associates to hurt Kay Lee Ray, it appears that the House of Couture don't just want to beat her down but instead they want to break her as April Davids prepares to slam a car door on her arm. Yet before this can happen Toni Storm, Dakota Kai, Millie McKenzie, Kasey Owens and Charlie Morgan all rush onto the scene running off the House of Couture.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    A pretaped interview is then played and it focuses on John Gooden sitting down with Fabian Aichner. Calling this one of the most anticipated interviews he has conducted. John Gooden looks to catch work with Aichner in regards to his actions since joining the UK Brand. Aichner responds by calling himself an outlier. Stating that he was sick and tired of seeing everyone being just so happy to be here and going about by the rules, he stated that in only a few months he has become the UK Brand's most talked about talent by doing what works for him and him alone. Moving on, Gooden then asks Aichner about Banks to which Fabian responds by stating Travis Banks is still being protected from him and that by right he should be the UK Champion right now. Before Gooden can ask another question, Aicher cuts the interview short with a looming remark that Banks and his title are not safe from him nor is anyone else who gets in the way of what he wants!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ahead of her upcoming contest with Tegan Nox, a panicked Gisele Shaw would seek out Rhea Ripley and on seeing her in the locker room she'd rush in to speak with her. Asking Rhea if she heard about her attack last week, Shaw seems dismayed as Ripley admits she saw it. Stating that Tegan has lost it and perhaps they went too far, Shaw is panicking as she says that she needs to know Rhea has her back in this match. Yet to her shock and horror, Ripley stoically shakes her head before walking out of the locker room leaving her on her own.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Three: Tegan Nox vs Gisele Shaw

    A rematch from a couple of weeks ago albeit now under a totally different setting. No longer with mutual respect between the two of them, this bout was a straight up dog fight between Tegan Nox and Gisele Shaw. Over the course of the battle it must be said that Shaw began to look like a woman who had regretted her past decisions and choices in regards to Nox. Midway through the bout we'd see Rhea Ripley surprisingly walk down towards the ring possibly in an effort to distract Nox. Yet this inevitably back fired as Nox sent Gisele Shaw careening into Ripley knocking her off of the apron and to the floor. From here Nox would finish things off with a shining wizard on Shaw.

    Shepherd:
    And the winner of the match Tegan Nox!

    The crowd in attendance cheers as the announcement is made and Tegan Nox climbs to her feet. Yet as Nox gets her arm raised, she catches sight of a livid Rhea Ripley climbing into the ring. The champion and her opponent at the UK Showcase go nose to nose. Officials quickly rush to the scene hoping to split the two up yet as they get each woman to a corner, both are able to free themselves before they meet in the center and begin trading punches. The crowd in attendance is on their feet cheering on the battle as Ripley and Nox go back and forth, this is until more security and officials are able to part them again before they are able to remove both women from the ring to jeers.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cutting away from ringside, we are directed towards the general manager's office where we see a livid Wade Barrett and Katarina Leigh standing by. Neither are happy that Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox violated the terms of the contract and swear that there will be some repercussions to their actions. Before they can continue however Kay Lee Ray along with Toni Storm walk into the office. After informing Wade about the assault earlier on, Kay Lee Ray asks if a decision has finally been made. In a block buster announcement Katarina informs the women that at the UK Showcase we will have a 12 woman elimination tag team match between the House of Couture and the team of Kay Lee Ray, Toni Storm, Charlie Morgan, Kasey Owens, Dakota Kai and Millie McKenzie with the stipulation added that should the House of Couture lose, they will be forced to disband!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    "Breezeango and The Ascension will now be taking part in the UK Tag Team Championship Tag Team Turmoil match at the UK Showcase 4"

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Main Event: Jordan Devlin vs Buddy Murphy ~ King of the Ring ~ Semi Finals
    Finally it was time for the main event of the event of the night and it would see Jordan Devlin battle Cruiserweight champion Buddy Murphy in the semi finals of the king of the ring tournament. True to form this was a fast paced, athletic contest with both men performing some spectacular dives throughout. Very much a match akin to what you'd expect from a cruiserweight title contest, both men put on a fantastic show in what very much was the match of the tournament. Yet the match wore on, it seemed that the prophecy by Buddy Murphy about Jordan Devlin and big matches was coming true. This was down to every time Devlin began to get ahead Murphy was able to cut him down thanks to his power advantage. Towards the end of the bout, Murphy looked to put Devlin down with the Murphy's Law but Devlin was able to fight his way out of it. This would lead to a comeback where a fired up Devlin, was able to pick up one of his biggest wins in the UK Brand as of yet following an Ireland's Call on the Cruiserweight Champion.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Jordan Devlin!
    The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as the announcement is made! slowly climbing to his feet in the ring is a victorious Devlin who gets his arm raised in the air to a massive pop from the crowd. Elated Devlin stands atop the turnbuckle now as a finalist in the king of the ring tournament while the show comes to a close.
    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand
    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 062 ~ The Last Fight
    Newport, Wales
    24/1/19
    Dusted by Astroid Boys begins to play as this latest edition of the UK Brand kicks off with a video package highlighting the previous show. Starting off this video package would be the confrontation between Travis Banks and Chris Brookes which would lead to their later bout with Banks coming out on top. From here we'd see the brawl between Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox before the video would close with Jordan Devlin advancing to the King of the Ring finals with his win over Buddy Murphy. The show would then open from Newport, Wales and we'd see a lively crowd in attendance as Doug Williams and John Gooden hype up the show in front of them before they send us backstage to the GM's office.
    With the show having began our opening segment takes place inside the office of our general manager Katarina Leigh. Joining her of course is Management Consultant Wade Barrett. While the tension between the two has seemed to have eased off a tad, neither seem to be in the best of mood as we see a bevy of security in the room along with Tegan Nox and Rhea Ripley. Both Barrett and Leigh scold the duo for violating the terms of their no contact clause in the contract they signed ahead of their match at the UK Showcase. Stating that they've had enough problems with champions putting themselves at risk lately, Wade admits that this entire week him and Katarina have gone back and forth on suspending both of them and cancelling the UK Showcase match.
    Neither Rhea or Tegan look happy about this while the live crowd in attendance can be heard voicing their disapproval. Yet soon after issuing this threat, Wade remarks that he has not come here to the UK Brand to take from the fans who want to see this match. In agreement with Wade, Katarina states all they want is for the match to take place when it is scheduled and for these two to not violate the conditions of the no contact agreement they both signed for. With that Katarina announces they are fining both of them but the match will go on as scheduled for the UK Showcase 4. Katarina then stated that for now, they were sending both women home for the night yet before they could leave the office, Wade Barrett would speak up. In a surprising announcement Wade would decree that in an effort to contain these two at the UK Showcase, he has decreed that they will have a special guest referee and that referee will be Katarina Leigh!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Before we can get to our first match up of the night, the cameras direct us towards the entrance of the building. Here we see Josh Bodom making his arrival to the building, as he walks up the stairs however towards the front doors he sees standing right at the top of the stares looking down at him is Bill Eaver. Eaver is unnervingly joyous as he looks down at Bodom who calls for him to move out of the way, yet despite Bodom's calls Eaver doesn't move. What happens next is shocking as Bodom is hit across the back of the knee with a baton by Charlie Sterling. Bodom falls to a knee as he screams out in agony, while Sterling wastes no time in hitting him across the side of the face with the baton. Bodom looks to be out as Eaver stands over him on the stairs and issues out the proclamation that things could have been different before he uses his foot to push Bodom by his side sending him tumbling down the flight of stairs to the ground.

    {Booker's Note: OK so this is a definite retcon as originally the plan was for Charlie Sterling vs Josh Bodom at the UK Showcase with the stipulation that should Bodom lose he'd join up with Sterling and Eaver. Yet as we've learned in the past week, Bodom's not exactly what you'd call a great guy. While 9 times out of 10 I don't let the real world affect my booking, the news very much put me off Josh and with that mentality. I just don't want to use someone I'm not a fan of in this project. So while this may shake up some of my longer term story telling, at the same time it will be a fun test of my creativity and don't worry I've already got something else in mind for Showcase}

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match One: Damian Dunne and Morgan Webster w/Wild Boar vs Kenny Williams and Mark Andrews
    The opening bout of the night would be tag team action as 'Chief Deputy' Damian Dunne united with Morgan Webster against Kenny Williams and Mark Andrews. Despite their lack of familiarity both Dunne and Webster worked together well and with Boar in their corner, they were able to take charge of the contest thanks to the numbers game. As the match waged on Kenny and Mark managed to launch a comeback before Williams took to the skies and wiped out everyone bar Boar with a plancha. From here Williams sent Webster into the ring before he looked to follow up only to be tripped by Boar. This allowed Webster to quickly catch Kenny Williams in the strangler and drag him to the canvas for the submission victory.
    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Morgan Webster and Damian Dunne!
    The crowd in attendance boos loudly as the announcement is made. Not satisfied with his victory, Morgan Webster keeps hold of the choke hold while Wild Boar lays out the referee with a clothesline. Morgan then scales the turnbuckle while Wild Boar holds Williams in a back breaker position. Looking to save his friend Mark Andrews tries to enter the ring but he is pulled under the bottom rope by Damian Dunne who then hits him with a single knee face buster. Webster meanwhile would leap off and connect with an elbow drop onto Williams putting him down on the canvas as the crowd boos. With that Webster, Boar and Dunne would all stand tall in the ring to jeers from the crowd.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Returning backstage the cameras direct us towards the women's locker room where both Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm are present. Despite the fact that these two women are set to team with one another at the UK Showcase 4, it is clear that neither woman are fans of one another. In fact it is said as much by Kay Lee Ray that she wants nothing more than a chance to have another shot at Toni Storm. Yet for now this is a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend, in agreement Toni says that Kay Lee can have her rematch anytime she wants once they've handled the House of Couture!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Next would be time for the latest installment of a walk through the rose garden as Joanna Rose found herself joined by Jordan Devlin for this week's episode. This exclusive interview would cover a variety of subjects starting with his change of heart since the second UK Showcase. Admitting that he'd let his ego consume him and drive him mad, Jordan states that he did and said many questionable things in an effort to get noticed. Yet after his match with his mentor Finn Balor, Jordan realised he was doing things the wrong way and since then he has made an effort to change with the help of the UK fans who have slowly embraced him on realising he was genuine. As this interview would continue, Jordan would acknowledge that being called a choker by Murphy hurt. As he deep down was aware that there had been moments when he had failed to perform in big matches, which is why he was as determined as he'd ever been to make things right last week. Now talk would turn to the finals and Joanna would ask Jordan who he'd prefer to face. Calling a match with Pete Dunne one he has wanted for years but never been able to get, Jordan admits that part of him wants that. At the same time however Jordan admits that he is frustrated that he has yet to defeat Tyler Bate and would like to prove to everyone once and for all, that he is not the same Jordan Devlin who'd bottle it at the big one and become the WWE's King of the North!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Two: Tag Team Battle Royal

    The following contest would be a chaotic one as we saw an 11 team over the top rope battle royal. These teams would all of course be competing in the tag team turmoil match at the UK Showcase and it'd be confirmed here that the winning team would be the last entrant in said match. In a surprising scene all of the challenger teams would direct their attention to the champions and beat down the Coffey Brothers before tossing the champs out of the ring for the first elimination. Soon after we'd see Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown eliminated thanks to the efforts of the Iron Lions. Looking to impress, the Iron Lions would then also work together to eliminate Jack Gallagher and Noam Dar. Now we'd be down to 8 teams and the next to go would be the Ascension when Zack Gibson eliminated Viktor. Thanks to the aid of James Drake, Gibson would also be responsible for the elimination of Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch as he flipped Burch out of the ring. This would leave us down to Aussie Open, Petoit/Barthel, Grizzled Young Vets, Iron Lions, Wolfgang/Gunn and Breezeango. Continuing their impressive run as of late Aussie Open would begin to clean house as Mark Davis would shockingly eliminate both the Grizzled Young Vets as well as Wolfgang and BT Gunn. Soon after The Iron Lions would manage to eliminate Breezango all the while we'd see camera cuts of Barthel and Petoit who had managed to duck out of the ring and remain concealed at ringside. After a minute or two of action, Aussie Open eliminated the Iron Lions only to be attacked from behind by Petoit and Barthel who stole the victory by tossing out Aussie Open.

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Marcel Barthel and Clement Petoit!

    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Clement Petoit and Marcel Barthel aka The Foreign Legion stand tall in the ring. On the outside of the ring a visibly angered Aussie Open can't help but express their frustration as they now know that Petoit and Barthel will be the last team entered in the tag team turmoil.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    As he prepares for his match in the main event, Pete Dunne is in the middle of shadow boxing when the locker room door opens and Trent Seven walks into the room. With a broad smile on his face, Trent Seven once again looks to appease and reason with Pete Dunne. Calling his presence in his match the other week a sign that Pete is beginning to see things his way, Seven offers to help Dunne tonight against Tyler Bate. Glaring at Seven, Pete Dunne stares him down as he states that he doesn't want or need Trent's help. He has beaten Bate before on his own and he will do so again tonight. Before he leaves the room, Dunne makes it clear that if Trent shows his face in his match. It will be the last thing he does.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    After making his arrival to the building, a fired up Chris Brookes makes a beeline for one of the locker rooms. Barging into the room Brookes comes face to face with Bill Eaver. Brookes is fired up as he confronts Eaver and states that he knows Eaver played him. Eaver attempts to dismiss Brookes by highlighting how everyone was talking about him after his match with Banks, yet Brookes refuses to hear it as he states that he sees Eaver for what he really is and that is a two bit con man. With that Brookes walks away while warning him that they aren't done.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Main Event: Pete Dunne vs Tyler Bate ~ King of the Ring ~ Semi Final
    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and one of the biggest matches in the UK Brand's history. This was because two of it's biggest stars would revisit their rivalry to stake their claim to the King of the Ring finals. These two former UK Champions and former partners would have a fantastic battle filled with tremendous counter wrestling as they were extremely familiar with one another at this stage. Throughout the bout, it was surprising how many fans in attendance were on Dunne's side as the bruiserweight would look to punish Bate with his joint manipulative methods. With the match reaching it's 17 minute mark, the cameras would take note of Trent Seven in the crowd watching on. His appearance would distract Tyler Bate at one stage and allow Dunne to lay out Bate with a forearm smash for a near fall. Yet it was clear that Seven's presence was equally disruptive to Dunne because as he got closer to the ring and more supportive in his cheers for Dunne, Pete would get thrown off and it would allow Bate to get back into the match after he connected with a rolling kick. Taking over the bout, Bate would catch a close near fall on Dunne following a killer punch to the jaw but as he motioned for the Tyler Driver he'd be distracted by Trent Seven who'd now climbed up onto the ring apron. This allowed Pete Dunne to spin out and land a boot to Bate's jaw, with Tyler rocked Pete then set him up for the Bitter End but now he'd catch sight of Seven and throw Bate off. Screaming at Seven to go, a livid Dunne completely took his eye off the ball and this allowed Tyler to send him crashing into Seven with both men butting heads before Bate capitalised with a Tyler Driver for the victory.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Tyler Bate!
    The crowd explodes into cheers as the announcement is made and Tyler Bate climbs to his feet in the ring. While Tyler begins to celebrate his win, he is soon joined in the ring by Jordan Devlin. These two King of the Ring finalists face off before they shake hands ahead of their finals match next week. Meanwhile at ringisde a livid Pete Dunne pulls himself to his feet while he sees an anxious Trent Seven backing his way up the ramp.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Before the show comes to a close, the cameras return us to the general manager's office where we have a meeting between Katarina Leigh and Wade Barrett. The general manager is still angry over Wade springing the announcement of her part in the women's title match, yet Wade remains insistent that he did it for the best of the brand and for the match. From here he directs the attention towards the finals of the King of the Ring match. In a surprising announcement Wade would reveal that the tournament match will take place at the opening of next week's show and that the winner will join Travis Banks in the closing of the show for a contract signing for the 4th UK Showcase!

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    King of the Ring finals set!

    After months of build up and matches, the finals of the King of the Ring are now set. What started at a field of 24 superstars has now slowly been whittled down to 2.

    Jordan Devlin vs Tyler Bate
    "Two of the most popular superstars in the UK Brand will do battle on this coming show to crown the King of the Ring. In one corner you have a man with a great track record of tournaments as part of the UK Brand in Tyler Bate, the former UK Champion who wants nothing more than to reclaim his title. While in the other corner you have the redemptive tale of Jordan Devlin, at one point the bad boy of the UK Brand who has steadily won over the fans thanks to his impressive run of performances and humbler attitude. Of course these two do have history as in their careers we know that Jordan Devlin has not once been able to defeat Tyler Bate. Yet as he has said, that was then and he is a different person now. Can Jordan finally defeat Tyler Bate to be crowned the King of the North? or will Tyler Bate defeat him once again and be the Big Strong Boy with the crown?"

    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand

    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 063 ~ Do or Die
    Cardiff, Wales
    31/1/19

    Dusted by Astroid Boys begins to play as this latest edition of the UK Brand kicks off with a
    recap of last week's show. This starts out with the announcement that Katarina Leigh will be the special guest referee of the Last Women Standing match before the video turns to focus on the tag team turmoil battle royal in which the Foreign Legion picked up the win. With that Hall of Fame by the Script plays as we get a run down of the entire King of the Ring tournament and how both Jordan Devlin and Tyler Bate got to this moment. From here the video comes to an end and this week's show opens up from Cardiff, Wales. With a ecstatic crowd in attendance Doug Williams and John Gooden promote the night before sending us to the ring for the King of the Ring finals.

    Match One: Jordan Devlin vs Tyler Bate ~ King of the Ring ~ Finals

    Kicking off the night would of course be the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. With the months of build up this was a highly anticipated clash between two of the UK Brand's most popular stars. After the in ring introductions are complete, the two men start out with a hand shake in a show of respect before the match finally begins. Starting out the contest we get a little chain wrestling between the two before the match picked up. With dueling chants going back and forth between sections of the fans in attendance, Devlin and Bate would put on a show for the fans in attendance as they delivered a back and forth contest filled with near falls. Towards the end of the match, we'd see both men take a nasty spill to the floor after Bate lifted Devlin in the air with a suplex near the ropes and both men would topple over the top rope. As the ref would begin to reluctantly count out both men, it would be Tyler Bate who got to his feet first at a count of 7. Yet before he can get back into the ring, Tyler would be laid out with a crushing spear by Fabian Aichner!

    Bate goes down and Fabian immediately follows by lifting up Jordan Devlin and driving him back first into the ring steps. The referee calls for the bell as Aichner continues laying to waste to both men. Clutching his midsection, Bate struggles to his feet and fires off a couple of punches to Fabian only for Fabian to counter with a hard knee to the mid section of Tyler. From here Aichner would press Tyler in the air before bringing him down hard across the floor with a powerslam. As Bate groans out in pain, Aichner begins to remove the top of the announce table before he lays out a couple of members of security. Snatching Jordan Devlin by the throat, Aichner would then hoist him into the air before putting Jordan through the announce table with a powerbomb! From here Aichner lifts up Tyler Bate and sits him on the barricade, with Bate prone Aichner leapt into the air and he connected with that brutal dropkick of his sending Bate falling backwards on the concrete below. With the crowd watching in horror, Fabian Aichner would then vanish through the crowd as more medics and officials arrived on the scene.

    Shepherd: Ladies and Gentleman, because of the actions of Fabian Aichner this match is a no contest!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Immediately the cameras direct us to the General Manager's office where Katarina Leigh is watching on in disbelief at what has transpired with the King of the Ring finals. Joining her in the office is a panicked Wade Barrett who is quick to inform her that both Tyler Bate and Jordan Devlin are being taken to the medic's office as we speak. A conflicted Katarina is torn in regards to what to do, but Wade is quick to speak up and sends her to the medics in an effort to see if they can salavge the tournament, While Katarina leaves Wade promises that he will handle Fabian Aichner.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    From here a pretaped promo is then played featuring both Bill Eaver and Charlie Sterling standing by. Unlike his usual cheerful, overly sincere self Bill Eaver here cuts a serious, fired up figure here. Talking openly about what he and Charlie did last week, Bill Eaver calls their assault on Josh Bodom the righting of a major wrong here. Stating that he has heard the remarks and all the doubts of his influence, Eaver comments that now is not the time for smiles and bold proclamations. Now is instead the time for action. This is why at the UK Showcase, Eaver's chief disciple Charlie Sterling will be issuing an open challenge!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Two: Female Fight Factory (April Davids, Killer Kelly and Laura Di Matteo) vs Charlie Morgan, Dakota Kai and Kasey Owens

    Our second contest of the night would be the first of two tag matches set to preview the big women's elimination tag team match at the UK Showcase. With the women in this particular contest it was no surprise that this match was a down right brawl. One notable story in this contest was the bad blood between April Davids and Dakota Kai as these two rivals would no matter what else was going on in the bout inevitably find one another to continue their battle. Towards the end of the match, this bad blood looked to cost Dakota Kai as she'd take her eyes off of Killer Kelly to blast Davids with a suicide dive. Yet as she'd climb into the ring Kelly would take her out with a spin kick. Joined by Laura Di Matteo, Kelly prepared to put Dakota down with a total elimination only for Charlie Morgan to dive off the top rope with a missile dropkick on Laura. From here Owens would perform a dive onto Davids while Kai having recovered would rock Kelly with a kick before following up with the Kairopractor for the victory.

    Shepherd: and the winners of the match Charlie Morgan, Dakota Kai and Kasey Owens!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Dakota Kai gets to her feet. While Kai gets her arm raised in the air, she is soon joined by Morgan and Owens as they celebrate their win.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The cameras then return us to the general manager's office where Wade Barrett is in the middle of a phone call, as Wade finishes he is rejoined in the office by a solemn Katarina Leigh. Katarina quickly gives Wade the news that neither Jordan Devlin or Tyler Bate is in any condition to return to the ring tonight. This news does not sit well with Barrett who in a rage throws his phone across the room. Taking a moment to compose himself, Wade and Katarina then talk and decide to reschedule the King of the Ring finals for the UK Showcase. When talk turns to Banks however, Wade reveals that he has something in mind for the champion.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Footage filmed from earlier in the day is then played and it highlights both Morgan Webster and Wild Boar arriving to the arena. As they do so however both men find Katarina's assistant Luke Menzies waiting for them. Menzies is here with news for them as he confirms that all week, the GM and Wade Barrett have been discussing how to handle the on going situation with Morgan Webster and Kenny Williams. Now it is confirmed that at the UK Showcase, it will be Morgan Webster and Wild Boar teaming up to face Kenny Williams and a tag team partner of his choosing!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Post Show footage from last week is then played and it highlights a livid Pete Dunne chasing down Trent Seven through the hallway of the arena. With Dunne chasing after him, Trent Seven begins pleading with Dunne to understand. Yet Pete doesn't answer as eventually he is able to corner Seven before he snatches him by the throat and pins him up against the wall. With Seven going quiet, the seething Dunne remarks that Seven cost him his spot in the King of the Ring. Seven again apologises before he begins begging off and making promises that he can fix this. After Seven remarks that he has a plan, Dunne surprisingly lets go of his throat and tells him that if he is lying to him, it will be the last thing he does.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Match Three: Chakara, Jinny and Xia Brookside vs Millie McKenzie, Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm

    Third match of the night would be our second preview and it'd start out just as chaotic as the other match as we'd see Millie McKenzie attack Xia Brookside with the two disappearing into the crowd rending this match as a tag match. An overwhelming story in this match was Jinny very much forcing her intern Chakara to do much of the work, while she'd look to have her moments when either Kay Lee Ray or Toni Storm was down. This would continue on until near the end of the match Millie McKenzie would chase Xia Brookside back to the ring where Xia would tag herself in for safety. Immediately tagging herself in Millie would punish Brookside with several suplexes until Chakara climbed in the ring and blindsided her. With Xia's help, Chakara would put the boots to Millie until both Toni and Kay Lee got in the ring to even the odds. In the fray however Jinny was able to tag herself in while Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm then battled with Brookside and Chakara out to the floor. On her feet, Millie is unaware and she'd gear up for a dive only to be blasted with the touch of couture by Jinny for the victory.

    Sherdog: And the winners of the match Chakara, Jinny and Xia Brookside!

    Jinny is quick to bail out to the floor as both Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm hit the ring. While Toni and Kay Lee begin to check on the downed McKenzie, at ringside a smug Jinny snaps her fingers while both Chakara and Xia Brookside rush to herside as they walk up the ramp.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Having picked up an impressive victory last week, it would be time for the duo known as the Foreign Legion (Marcel Barthel and Clement Petoit) to take a walk through the rose garden with Joanna Rose. During her latest interview segment, Joanna talks with the team who have claimed the last spot in the tag team turmoil match. Starting from the beginning, Joanna asks what brought Barthel and Petoit together as a team. Calling the team a mutually beneficial alliance between two men of the same beliefs, Marcel Barthel states that he and Clement Petoit are here to show that they are a superior breed of wrestler compared to the men referred to as champions. Branding the Coffey Brothers as the toughest men in the bar but nothing more, it is clear that neither Barthel or Petoit have that much respect for the champs. In closing both Barthel and Petoit proclaim that the UK Showcase will be the beginning of a new era for the tag team division, one in which the new champions will redefine tag team wrestling!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    We then return to ringside and the cameras focus on a table being set up in the ring with a contract sat on it. Standing in the corner is a concerned Katarina Leigh while a smug Wade Barrett looks on. Meanwhile Travis Banks is sat down on a chair as he begins to read over the contract. While Banks looks it over, Wade Barrett grabs himself a microphone. Speaking honestly Wade admits that tonight has been a tricky one for both himself and Katarina. This is purely down to the fact that this was originally going to be the contract signing for both Travis Banks and the King of the Ring winner.

    Yet as Wade confirms neither Tyler Bate or Jordan Devlin is able to compete tonight. However the King of the Ring tournament final will still happen with the rematch taking place at the UK Showcase! While the crowd lets out a cheer at this announcement, Travis Banks and Katarina are both listening in intently as Wade's smile begins to fade. Stating that of course this has put the UK Brand in a bit of a pickle because you can't have a Showcase and bench the UK Champion. Remarking that he's had a tough decision to make, Wade reveals that he has found Travis Banks an opponent. Stating that while it may not be a popular decison, but Travis Banks will be facing this man....

    The crowd are in shock as Fabian Aichner emerges from the back with a confident smirk on his face. A livid Katarina begins screaming at Wade that this is not happening while Aichner charges down to the ring, Travis Banks waves Aichner on as he slides under the ropes. Aichner and Banks beginning trading punches while both Wade and Katarina make a quick exit. Banks has Aichner reeling following a knee strike before he jumps to the top rope looking for a slice of heaven. Yet he is caught in mid air by Aichner who is able then to powerbomb Banks through the table! The crowd boos loudly as Fabian Aichner then stands over the downed champion and holds the UK Championship overhead as the show comes to a close.

    Dark Match: Pete Dunne defeated Chris Brookes, Cara Noir and Steve Xavier in a fatal four way
    Dunne pinned Xavier following a Bitter End

    Tears don't Fall by Bullett for my Valentine plays as all roads have finally led us to the UK Showcase 4. Starting things out tonight is a video package detailing many of the key events in the run up to the show. This includes a full series of the King of the Ring tournament highlights showing how both Jordan Devlin and Tyler Bate earned their way to the finals. Shifting focus, the video then details the highly personal feud between Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox along of course with their controversial bout at the 3rd UK Showcase. Finally we then turn focus to the UK Championship and the bad blood between Champion Travis Banks and the unpredictable actions of his challenger Fabian Aichner. With that, the video package ends and the show officially opens up from Cardiff, Wales. A packed crowd in attendance are on their feet and the excitement is palpable as both John Gooden and Doug Williams hype up the show before sending us to ringside for our opening bout.

    Shepherd:
    And introducing Kenny Williams tag team partner.... "The Original Bro" Matt Riddle!

    The packed crowd in attendance are on their feet as emerging from the back is "The Original Bro" Matt Riddle. Packed full of his usual swag, Matt Riddle is all smiles as he struts his stuff down to the ring. At the ringside area he and Kenny Williams fist bump while in the ring we see a frustrated Morgan Webster and Wild Boar looking on.

    Match One: Morgan Webster and Wild Boar vs Kenny Williams and Matt Riddle

    Starting out the night would be tag team action as we'd see Kenny Williams and his surprise tag team partner Matt Riddle take on the duo of Morgan Webster and Wild Boar. In the opening moments Wild Boar would make a massive mistake as he squared up to Riddle daring him to give him his best shot. This would backfire however as Riddle blasted him with a flying knee laying him out before the match had even truly got started. With his partner down, Webster was forced to start out this match and it would be Kenny Williams who started with him.

    These former friends turned enemies would battle back and forth for the next few minutes until Williams countered a death valley driver attempt by dropping behind Webster and hitting him with a dropkick to the back sending Morgan out onto the ring apron. From here Kenny would join Morgan out on the apron but it would be Wild Boar snatching his foot which allowed Webster to shove him back first into the ring post. Much to the crowd's chagrin, this would allow Webster and Boar back into the match as they'd isolate Kenny Williams and begin to work him over with both men clearly targeting his back.

    Using quick tags and very much cutting the ring in half, Boar and Webster very much went back to tag team 101 which was praised by both Doug Williams and Andy Shepherd. Standing on the apron, Matt Riddle couldn't help but show some frustration as he watched on unable to do anything as his partner was worked over. This was until Kenny was able to hit a big double ddt on Boar and Webster. It would be this moment that changed the balance of the match yet again as the incredibly over Matt Riddle entered the ring and began to clean house.

    With Riddle going to work on Wild Boar, Morgan Webster would reenter the ring in an attempt to get one over on his opponent. Yet he'd soon be tackled by Kenny Williams who'd work him over with punches. A big knee by Riddle on Boar then followed before he trapped him in the bromission. At the same time Williams would clamp a cross face on Morgan Webster much to the crowd's delight. Both men can be heard screaming out in pain before they begin tapping at the same time!

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Kenny Williams and Matt Riddle!

    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and both victors release their respective submissions. Once they are to their feet Williams and Riddle get their arms raised before they again bump fists. Meanwhile at ringside an embitted Morgan Webster begins to take a knee before storming backstage leaving Wild Boar down on the floor.

    Footage filmed from after last week's show is then played across the titantron and it highlights a confrontation that took place after the closing segment between a livid Katarina Leigh and Wade Barrett. It is clear that Katarina is not at all a fan of what has gone on with Fabian Aichner being named the number one contender. Wade admits he knew that this decision was going to be a controversial one yet at the same time, he was brought here to assist in running the UK Brand. This includes making at times hard choices for the sake of the brand. Admitting that he could not let the UK Brand's biggest show go without a title defense, Wade states that he gave the fans a match he knew they'd want to see. Katarina still is not thrilled with this as talk then turns to the women's title match, Wade acknowledges he knows that was a decision Katarina wasn't impressed with either. Yet again he's done it to give extra intrigue to the fans based on Katarina and Rhea's history. In closing though Wade tells her that despite that history, he hopes she can maintain her professionalism in that match.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Following this, we are taken to the locker room area where
    Charlie Sterling is in the middle of his preparation for his match later in the evening. This is until he is confronted by Chris Brookes. Brookes looks to catch word with Sterling about his relationship with Eaver, yet Sterling only remarks that Brookes is jealous of the fact that Charlie has been a success. Commenting that he knows what Eaver's words can do to a man, Brookes states that he makes you feel on top of the world yet in truth he is nothing more than a manipulator who will use you to get all he can from you. Despite Chris' impassioned speech, Sterling brushes him off as he tells Chris to focus on his own business not his.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Two: House of Couture (April Davids, Chakara, Jinny, Killer Kelly, Laura Di Matteo and Xia Brookside) vs Charlie Morgan, Dakota Kai, Kasey Owens, Kay Lee Ray, Millie McKenzie and Toni Storm

    Match two of the evening would also be tag team action as we'd see our 12 woman elimination tag team match. As one might expect with the bad blood going into this bout, it would not take too long for the match to descend into chaos with bodies flying everywhere. The referee would struggle to maintain order as it would soon be declared that Millie McKenzie and April Davids were the two starting out in this match. After a few minutes of back and forth chain wrestling, a cheap shot by Xia Brookside on her former friend McKenzie allowed for Davids to score a near fall with a fisherman suplex. Brookside would then tag herself into the match in the hopes she could eliminate Millie, but this would soon backfire as McKenzie was able to catch her with a bridging german suplex for a pinfall! Xia Brookside has been eliminated!

    With their team down a number, The house of couture would resort to some dirty tactics in an effort to get one over on McKenzie. This would be until McKenzie was able to make a tag out to Charlie Morgan. With a head of steam Morgan would begin to lay out Chakara with a series of punches when Laura Di Matteo entered the ring. Ready for her Morgan would meet Laura with a superkick but as she does so, Chakara tags out to Killer Kelly. This allows Kelly to enter the ring and catch Charlie with a superkick before she made a cover to eliminate her. Charlie Morgan has been eliminated! The crowd boos as a smirking Kelly gets to her feet when a livid Toni Storm enters the ring and tackles her to the canvas and begins to batter her with punches.

    Fired up Toni Storm is able to lay out April Davids with a clothesline when Jinny tags herself into the match. These two life long rivals Jinny and Toni Storm would then do battle with one another until Storm caught a near fall following a snap DDT. Yet before she could follow up with any more offense Kay Lee Ray would tag herself into the match. Storm and Kay Lee would go face to face as they traded some harsh words back and forth. Meanwhile Chakara would enter the ring as Storm climbed out onto the apron. Charging at Kay Lee Ray, Chakara would be wobbled with a dropkick before Kay Lee Ray climbed the top rope. Taking a knee Jinny saw Kay Lee Ray preparing to dive off on her and she would shockingly pull Chakara in her path, leading to her being laid out with a cross body by Kay Lee Ray.

    As Kay Lee Ray rolls to her feet, she is then met with the touch of couture by Jinny who makes the cover as the crowd boos. Kay Lee Ray has been eliminated! Toni Storm then gets back into the ring and goes right after Jinny as the crowd cheers. Full of fire Toni Storm begins to take the fight to Jinny as well as several other members of the House of Couture. Yet once again Jinny uses Chakara as a human shield as she throws Chakara into Jinny causing the two to clash heads. With Toni rocked, a touch of couture by Jinny follows before she makes a cover for a stunning elimination. Toni Storm has been eliminated! The crowd boos loudly as the announcement is made while Jinny officially tags herself out and puts a groggy Chakara into the match.

    This soon backfires however as Chakara is blasted with a running yakuza kick to the jaw by Dakota Kai who makes a cover for the win. Chakara has been eliminated! The crowd cheers as Kai gets to her feet and quickly as we've seen previously both her and April Davids cannot wait to get ahold of one another to continue their battle. Eventually this would spill out to the floor where both women would be counted out. Dakota Kai and April Davids have been eliminated! It is now a 3 on 2 situation with the house of couture left with Jinny, Killer Kelly and Laura Di Matteo while on the other side is Kasey Owens and Millie McKenzie. Kasey Owens looking to quickly even the odds came in with a full head of steam. This would see her at one stage hurl herself through the ropes with a big suicide dive wiping out both Kelly and Laura.

    Unfortunately this daredevil antics would cost Kasey as clearly a little winded from the move is quickly snatched in a small package as she entered the ring by Jinny which would lead to her elimination. Kasey Owens has been eliminated! The crowd erupts into boos as the smug Jinny climbs to her feet in the ring and adds insult to injury by booting Owens under the ropes. Yet in Jinny's trash talk to the audience she takes her eye off the ball and she is driven into the canvas with a german suplex by Millie McKenzie for a count of 3. Jinny has been eliminated!

    It is now 2 on 1 and despite the odds being against her Millie McKenzie has her game face on. Both Laura Di Matteo and Killer Kelly quickly pounce in the ring and despite Millie's best efforts she is soon overwhelmed by the numbers game. The referee eventually manages to force Laura out of the ring while Kelly continues to punish Millie. Using quick tags Kelly and Laura continue to beat her down before both get in the ring as they start to position her for a total elimination. Yet as they stand Millie up, in a shocking moment Millie is able to shove Kelly back into Laura causing the two to clash heads. Turn about fair play from Jinny's earlier tactic Millie follows up with a northern lights suplex on Kelly. 1...2...3! Killer Kelly has been eliminated!

    It is now down to two as only Laura Di Matteo and Millie McKenzie are left. Both women are definitely fatigued as we enter the final stretch. The two start out trading some punches back and forth until Laura takes advantage following a well timed knee to the mid section. From here Di Matteo looks to stretch Millie as she puts her in a variety of holds hoping to force the submission. With the crowd behind her Millie is eventually able to make a comeback before she scores a near fall following an ace crusher. Climbing to her feet, Millie is fired up as she stalked Laura while she staggered to her feet. Once Laura is up, Millie would plant her with a trio of german suplexes bridging through with the 3rd for the match winning cover!

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Millie McKenzie, Kasey Owens, Dakota Kai, Toni Storm, Kay Lee Ray and Charlie Morgan!

    The crowd explodes into cheers as the announcement is made and a smiling Millie McKenzie climbs to her feet. McKenzie then gets her arm raised in the air as slowly she is joined in the ring by her partners. While both Kasey Owens and Charlie Morgan applaud her, both Toni Storm and Dakota Kai raise Millie's arms in the air. Yet notably on the apron Kay Lee Ray doesn't seem too impressed as she hops down and slowly walks backstage.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cutting to the General Manager's office we now see a much more positive
    Katarina Leigh standing by along with Joanna Rose. This exclusive little interview is one of what Katarina has called many exciting developments for the UK Brand. Praising the efforts of the women in the previous match, especially Millie McKenzie who Katarina says has a hell of a future. Katarina then goes on to state that this announcement is to do with the fifth UK Showcase. As while the date and location of the event have yet to be set, one special match will already be announced. As the UK Women's champion whomever is holding the title at the time will step into the ring against wrestling legend Meiko Satomura!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    A video package then plays to the tune of Nails by Massive Wagons. This video package focuses on the current reinging UK Champion "The Kiwi Buzzsaw"
    Travis Banks. Setting the tone for this video package are the opening 30 seconds which focus on the UK Showcase 3 and Travis Banks' victory over Nick Aldis. Yet his celebration is to be cut short as he was attacked post match by Fabian Aichner. Clips of Aichner and Banks' battles since then are profiled as cuts of Travis Banks sitting in a darkened room are shown. In these cuts Travis Banks speaks candidly about his opponent. Commenting that in his time with the UK Brand Banks has battled men he has respected as well as men he has disliked. Yet he has always kept the same cool, the same collected mantra that has allowed him to remain focused on what is important. This is until now and his match with Fabian Aichner. Calling Fabian a hell of a talent to start out, Banks admits that when he heard Aichner had joined the brand he knew that their paths would cross eventually. However talk soon turns to the way Fabian has conducted himself since joining the brand. Here a change in Banks' behavior is noted, as he states that he has kept his emotions in check with every other opponent until now. Admitting that to say he dislikes Fabian would be an understatement, Travis reveals that what he feels here is akin to full blown hatred. Calling this hate and rage in him a dangerous thing, Travis closes out this promo by promising tonight is not just where he beats Fabian Aichner. Instead as Banks puts it tonight is where he will also break Fabian Aichner!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Match Three: Mark Andrews vs Damian Dunne
    Our third match of the night would then take place and it would very much be a clash of styles as Mark Andrews took on "Chief Deputy" Damian Dunne. While very much a step down in match quality compared to the last two bouts and filled with quite a lot of stalling thanks to the actions of Dunne. This bout would manage to keep the crowd invested thanks to the antics of the deputy of the no fun zone and the heat he amassed for himself. Despite his best attempts to stall and resort to cheap tactics however, this contest very much served as a showcase for Mark Andrews who clearly had more than enough of Dunne. Finally once Andrews was able to get Dunne into the ring, it wouldn't take him long for him to put Dunne away following a beautiful shooting star press.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Mark Andrews!
    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Mark Andrews gets to his feet in the ring. After getting his arm raised in the air, Mark Andrews makes the climb to the top rope where he basks in the cheers of his hometown crowd!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Packing away his stuff in his suitcase,
    Pete Dunne doesn't seem to be in that good of a mood as he prepares to leave the locker room area with his case behind him. This is until a smirking Trent Seven walks into the room. Dunne very much is tense as Seven seems to be rather overly pleased with himself. Going nose to nose with Trent, Dunne is quick to warn him that he better have delivered on his promise. With a broad smile, Trent Seven informs him that while Dunne was out there putting on a show for the fans in the preshow. Trent was in a meeting with Wade Barrett and the deal has been made! For the first time in a long while, Dunne is close to almost cracking a smile as he places his case on the ground while the cameras fade out.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Standing by in her office is
    Katarina Leigh and this time she is joined by Wade Barrett as the two prepare to make a huge announcement. Having been given their cue by the person behind the camera, the two speak about the history made so far in the UK Brand. It is here the two announce in the coming weeks following the UK Showcase, we will be building up to the second ever UK Rumble! However this time round it will be bigger than ever with 30 men competing for their title shot at the UK Showcase 5. Yet that is not all as with this blockbuster announcement comes a second, as we will see a women's UK Rumble in which the UK Women's Championship will be up for grabs as the winner of the match will be defending the title against Meiko Satomura at the 5th UK Showcase!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Four: Tag Team Turmoil ~ UK Tag Team Championship Match!

    Team #1 Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) vs Team #2 Iron Lions (Andrew Simmons and James Tighe)

    The UK Tag Team Championships would be up for grabs in the next bout of the night as it'd be time for tag team turmoil! With the odds against them, the highly popular Aussie Open would have to combat the wily veteran duo of the Iron Lions. In the early goings it'd appear that the Iron Lions' strategy of grounding Kyle Fletcher and isolating him would pay off, yet the resourceful young man eventually was able to make a tag out to his powerful tag team partner. This turned the tide of the match as Davis run roughshod over both men much to the crowd's delight. Despite their best efforts, the Iron Lions could never get any momentum back and it wouldn't be long before Mark Davis put away James Tighe with a forceful sit out scoop slam.

    Team #3 Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown

    Running down to the ring for the next match are the pairing of Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown. Unlike the Iron Lions, neither Brown or Smith seemed hesitant to go toe to toe with the Aussie Open pairing. While the two burling heavyweights Brown and Davis would trade punches outside the ring, in the ring fans would be treated to some thrilling, fast paced exchanges between Fletcher and Smith. As this match progressed, the action would continue to go back and forth as the crowd who were initially cold on Brown and Smith appeared to have been won round by the Duo.

    A close near fall was registered at one stage by Rampage Brown who caught Kyle Fletcher with a vicious powerslam, the force of which nearly put him through the canvas. Continuing on both teams had their moments until in a key moment, Kyle Fletcher countered a double suplex attempt by Smith and Brown with a double DDT. This allowed him to tag out to Mark Davis and the pairing launched a come back. This comeback concluded with Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis driving Smith into the canvas with the fidget Spinner to pick up the victory.

    Team #4 The Ascension

    Despite having had two matches already and showing some signs of fatigue, Aussie Open met the former NXT tag team champions right in the middle of the ring to start this next match. Showing an opportunistic side, Viktor was able to get Mark Davis out of the ring before sending him into the ring steps. This allowed both he and Konnor to begin working over Kyle Fletcher. Looking to put him away swiftly, Konnor and Victor begin to set him up for the Fall of Man when Konnor is snatched from the ring by Mark Davis who clobbers him with a big clothesline. Victor meanwhile still charges at Kyle but he is met with a nasty single leg dropkick to the jaw by Fletcher. This staggers Viktor and allows Kyle to put him down with a brainbuster for the 3.

    Team #5 Grizzled Young Vets

    Now three matches in both members of Aussie Open appear to be showing signs of the battle while the Grizzled Young Vets rush the ring. Despite being tired and despite being weakened, both Kyle and Mark are able to quickly launch a rally against the GYV. As the match progressed Zack Gibson and James Drake would begin to wear down the big man Mark Davis in a change of tact from the other teams. All the while as one would imagine, Zack Gibson continued to drew the ire of the crowd in attendance who kept themselves amused with insults at the scouser.

    At one stage it appeared that Aussie Open could make it 4 straight wins as Davis obliterated James Drake with a spear before Kyle Fletcher followed up with a frog splash. Sadly this would only earn them a close near fall thanks to a well timed interuption from Gibson. Gibson's interference drew him the attention of Mark Davis who much to the delight of the crowd began to beat Gibson all around the ringside area. Meanwhile Kyle Fletcher prepared to finish off Drake as he stalked him for a single leg dropkick. Yet as the referee's attention was diverted thanks to the chaos of Gibson and Davis, We'd see Shane Thorne shockingly make his return to the UK Brand and hot shot Kyle across the top rope. Reaaling from this Fletcher was unable to defend himself from a quick DDT by James Drake for an unpopular victory.

    Team #6 Wolfgang and BT Gunn

    Zack Gibson immediately begins mouthing off to the crowd as the next team in the match hits the ring. Starting out for his team is BT Gunn and he finds himself up against the unpopular Zack Gibson. Starting out we'd see some impressive chain wrestling between the two before BT Gunn kicked it up a notch and blasted Zack with a lariat. From here BT Gunn would tag out to Wolfgang while Gibson managed to tag out to Drake. In the early goings it appeared that Drake with his speed advantage would get the better of Wolfgang, yet his trash talking soon backfired when Wolfgang put him down to the mat with a headbutt.

    While the crowd would begin some new age kliq chants to both Wolfgang and Gunn, this would only fire up the team more as they'd begin to work over James Drake. This was until Drake managed to duck a superkick attempt by Gunn before he launched him into the ring post. From here Drake tagged out to Gibson and the two kept on exchanging tags as they worked over BT Gunn's arm. A close near fall was then secured by the vets thanks to a helter skelter by Gibson followed by a beautiful 450 splash by James Drake. Gunn kicking out of this definitely frustrated the duo as they stomped away at him on the canvas.

    Pushing the ref to the side, Wolfgang entered the ring and he'd begin clearing house on both men. Dropping Gibson with a big discus clothesline, Wolfgang proceeded to charge at Drake only to be backdropped out of the ring. Yet as Drake turned round he'd be met with a superkick by Gunn. Before Gunn could do any more offense however he was grounded by Gibson and trapped in the Shankly Gates on his compromised arm forcing him to tap out!

    Team #7 Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan

    To the delight of the crowd both Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch are out next and literally they are met outside the ring by Drake and Gibson for very much a wild brawl to the delight of the fans. This very much plays into Burch and Lorcan's hands as Oney in particular starts to batter the vets. Returning to the ring, this match then officially begins with Lorcan starting out against Gibson. Yet ever the opportunists, it would appear anytime one of the Vets looked to be in trouble, the other would give them an assist in order to turn the tide of the contest.

    This tactic however soon backfired as Lorcan and Burch showed that they were not afraid to play dirty with Oney very much attacking Drake at ringside while Burch battled Gibson in ring. In a stunning moment that had the crowd on it's feet, Danny Burch managed to trap Zack Gibson in a crossface dead in the center of the ring. Zack Gibson began screaming out in pain and James Drake looked to rush in to save the bout but he was taken down and trapped in an STF by Oney Lorcan. With the crowd cheering and nowhere to go, both Drake and Gibson are forced to tap out!

    Team #8 The Coffey Brothers

    It is now time for the champions to enter the match and once they climb into the ring they face off with their old rivals before shaking hands with one another. With that the two teams kick this match off as Joe Coffey and Oney Lorcan start things out. Neither man is backing down as they trade some hard shots with one another before Lorcan connects with an enzugiri kick on Joe which puts him down on the canvas. From here Oney tags out to Burch who gets in and wastes little time in working over Joe Coffey with some hard strikes of his own.

    Eventually Joe Coffey manages to battle his way to his feet and once he is up, he catches a charging Danny Burch with a black hole slam for a close near fall. Both men remain on the canvas before they make the crawl to tag out to their partners. Eventually both men tag out and Mark Coffey meets Oney Lorcan in the center of the ring. Similar to the exchange between Lorcan and Joe, both men go hell for leather before Oney backs up into the corner having stunned Mark. Yet as he charges out from the corner he is blasted with a brutal red forearm by Mark Coffey putting him down on the canvas for a victory out of nowhere for the champions.

    Team #9 - Jack Gallagher and Noam Dar

    Coming off that grueling battle of attrition the champions now find themselves against a duo with a signifigant speed advantage. Adding to this are the head games being played by Noam Dar who very much serves a purpose of being an irritant to everyone in the match. With Dar getting under their skin, both Coffey's take their eyes off the ball at points in the early going allowing Jack to nearly put them away on seperate occasions with pinning predicaments. This is until in a stunning moment Mark Coffey is able to withstand a headbutt from Jack before responding with a vicious one of his own.

    For the first time since the match began, Noam Dar would then find himself in the ring with the Coffey's and to the crowd's delight he'd very much be made to pay for his trash talk. Mark and Joe very much worked over Noam before Gallagher in a surprising move would abandon his partner having grown sick of his trash talk and having to carry the brunt of the work load. Soon after a back breaker/diving elbow drop by the champs would put Dar away.

    Team #10 - Tyler Breeze and Fandango

    The ever popular Fashion Police entered the ring next and while one might be forgiven for thinking, they might not be much of a match for the champs. As we'd soon see, thanks to their experience and game plan both Breeze and Fandango were able to take the lead as they managed to lay out Mark Coffey with a big double dropkick in the early going sending him crashing off the apron and to the floor. This very much left Joe Coffey in a two on one situation and he'd very much struggle with this numbers game as Breeze and Fandango used quick tags to remain fresh.

    In fact to the shock of the audience, the fashion police picked up a couple of big near falls against Joe including one from a beauty shot by Breeze while another came from a reverse STO by Fandango. Sadly for the duo, their inability to put away Joe gave Mark enough time to recover and soon he'd manage to make a hot tag in and despite still being winded he'd work over both men. Eventually the champs then would pick up another victory after Mark put down Breeze with a sit out spine buster.

    Team #11 - Foreign Legion

    Having beaten 3 teams already, the Coffey Brothers now had the unenviable task of their fourth and final team. Yet in a surprising moment it would only be Clement Petoit who emerged from the back. This very much confused the Coffey Bros until Joe Coffey was snatched from out the ring by Marcel Barthel who'd come through the crowd. With the crowd booing, Barthel then ran Joe headfirst into the ring post before dumping him over the guard rail while Petoit in the ring took advantage of this diversion and blind sided Mark Coffey.

    The crowd in attendance cannot help but voice their disgust at these tactics while Doug Williams is full of praise, calling Barthel and Petoit brilliant in their approach despite it not being the honorable way. Having isolated Mark Coffey, both Barthel and Petoit would delight in torturing him by trapping him in many painful holds as they remained confident that victory would soon come their way. Every now and then the cameras would focus on Joe Coffey who despite having now cleared the guard rail looked to be in no condition to make it to the ring.

    However soon their inability to put Mark away would begin to frustrate the Foreign Legion. This would cause them to take some unnessecary risks in an effort to end the match and it would soon backfire as Mark was able to slingshot Petoit into Barthel as he was perched on the top rope. While Barthel would topple out onto the apron, Petoit was soon driven into the canvas with a side walk slam by Mark. Having now got up onto the apron, Joe Coffey was able to tag his way into the match and in a stunning moment he'd meet Petoit with the Black Coffey lariat before making the cover. 1....2.....3

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match and still champions.....

    There is a notable pause from Shepherd while both Doug and Gooden also receive news about one more team being entered in the match.

    Shepherd: And introducing team number 12... Pete Dunne and Trent Seven!

    Team #12 - Pete Dunne and Trent Seven

    The crowd are in shock as the announcement is made while in the ring the champs are barely able to stand. Pete Dunne and Trent Seven rush down to the ring while both Coffey brothers raise their arms in fighting stances. The champs meet Dunne and Seven in the center and they catch them with some heavy shots until Seven pokes Mark Coffey in the eye, With Mark momentarily blinded Seven is able to stomp down on the back of Joe's knee. This buckles Joe's knee and causes him to drop down on it before Dunne hoists him up and plants him down with an X-Plex.

    Mark Coffey fires back at Seven with another hard shot backing him up against the ropes but he is blasted with an elbow to the temple by Dunne. This allows for Seven to connect with a big crossbody block onto Mark. With the champs weakened, Pete Dunne then hoists up Joe while Trent lifts up Mark and Dunne plants Joe with a Bitter End while Seven puts Mark down with a burning hammer. Both men then symbollically cover the champions while the crowd remain speechless. 1...2...3

    Shepherd: And the winners of the match and NEW Champions... Pete Dunne and Trent Seven!

    The audience is stunned as this announcement is made and the new champions climb to their feet in the ring. Both Pete Dunne and Trent Seven are then presented with the tag team championships and they hold them high in the air before the world while the referee checks on Mark and Joe.

    It would then be time for an exclusive episode of a walk through the rose garden with
    Joanna Rose. However this time in a bizarre twist, Joanna wasn't sure just who her guest was as she was told it would be a special exclusive set up by Wade Barrett. After a few moments pass, Joanna is surprised when she is joined by a man she introduces as Timothy Thatcher! Thatcher is noticeably clutching a briefcase in his hand as he walks along with Joanna. In this interview Thatcher reveals that he has signed a contract today to become the latest member of the UK Brand roster! Talking openly of his love for British wrestling, Thatcher name drops the likes of Billy Robinson and Johnny Saint as idols of his before he states that he is here to bring back those traditions and show the difference between someone here looking to be a sports entertainer and be famous to someone who has come here to fight and to win! Slowly Thatcher then opens the case before he produces what he calls the Commonwealth Championship. Declaring himself a fighting champion Timothy Thatcher proclaims that he will be defending this title every single week, until there is someone man enough with the same respect for his craft that is capable of taking it from him!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Set to the tune of Crimps by Steve Bayless, a music video then plays highlighting "The Next Level"
    Fabian Aichner. This very much covers the wake of destruction that Fabian Aichner has left in his path since arriving to the UK Brand and what has made him without a doubt one of the brands most controversial names. Moments covered include his vicious attacks on the likes of Wolfgang and Rampage Brown before we begin to see his conflict with GM Katarina Leigh. From here the video focuses on the goings on with him and Banks which includes the attacks from Aichner on the champion as well as clips of his shocking TKO victory over the champion. In between these clips we see shots of Fabian Aichner warming up in an empty locker room. Remarking once that Ralph Waldo Emerson stated to be great is to be misunderstood, Fabian states that he has heard people brand him an anarchist or an agent of chaos with his actions. Yet contrary to popular belief this has all been apart of a plan, see Fabian Aichner did not want to simply be just another face in the crowd. No he wanted to be at the top of the UK Brand on arrival and the only way he could do that was to make an impact. Stating that his plan was nigh on perfect, Aichner admits that there has been one small setback to it. This is the fact that Travis Banks up till now is still in possession of that title. Reminding everyone how he beat Banks into a pulp last time they had a match, Aichner declares that he has already proven to be the superior man in that ring. Yet Banks has shown himself to not be a real man, as he has chosen to cling to the moniker of champion when he has no right to be one. Closing this promo, Aichner promises there will be no denial after tonight who the champion is!
    Shepherd: And introducing Charlie Sterling's opponent for the evening.... RUSEV!
    The crowd are on their feet as the announcement is made and emerging from the back are
    Rusev and Lana. In the ring Charlie Sterling looks to be fired up while Bill Eaver for his part appears to be quite nervous.
    Match Five: Charlie Sterling w/Bill Eaver vs Rusev w/Lana
    To kick off this special open challenge match, Charlie Sterling very much would go on the aggressive as he wanted to prove himself against the former United States Champion Rusev. However this very much would be a case of easier said than done as he'd have to combat the power and athleticism of the Bulgarian brute. Despite looking impressive in the early going and picking up a close near fall with a running snap swinging neck breaker. Sterling unfortunately went to the well one time too many as he hit the ropes again for the same move. This allowed Rusev to counter with the Machka Kick before he clamped on the accolade for a submission victory!
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match.. Rusev!
    The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Rusev is joined by Lana in the ring while he gets his arm raised. Meanwhile Charlie Sterling has rolled out to the floor where Bill Eaver is standing by. Eaver's calm facade looks to have fractured as he is livid and begins removing his belt. Holding it in his hands, Bill looks like he is about to lash Charlie when it is snatched from him by Chris Brookes! The crowd cheers as Brookes lays out Eaver with a punch. Staggering to his feet Eaver is met with another punch by Brookes sending him toppling over the guard rail. Chris Brookes then begins to check on Sterling, while the dazed Eaver makes his escape through the crowd.
    Before the King of the Ring finals take place, a tribute video set to the tune of Manic Bloom by Answer plays as we see clips of both
    Tyler Bate and Jordan Devlin. This very much focuses on their previous bouts from the UK brand as well as some that took place across the UK independent scene. In all of these scenes we'd see how eventually the result would always be the same with Tyler Bate being the victor. From here we'd get cuts as both men are interviewed ahead of their King of the Ring finals match. Clearly there is some mutual respect between the two men for this match as Bate credits Jordan for making a change in his attitude the way he has. Admitting he has always respected Jordan for his skills, Bate stated he was always saddened to know someone so talented was shaming himself and putting such a black mark against himself by having the attitude Jordan had. Devlin meanwhile is candid as he admits that before one of the key issues in his matches especially with his series with Bate, was that he refused to give his opponent any credit. Expecting things to be easy, Jordan admitting he'd easily get frustrated when he was wrong and against someone as good as Bate, you can't get frustrated as you'll begin making mistakes which he will capitalize on.
    Addressing some saying he's undergone changes, Jordan remarks that he feels that this has been overstated. Commenting that he is still the same man he always was, Jordan admits the difference between him now and the man he was a few months ago is that he now can look at himself in the mirror and hold his head up in pride. Talking openly about his record against Bate, Jordan admits that it's a tough pill to swallow that despite in his mind being one of the best wrestlers in the UK that there is someone who clearly has had his number. Yet in Jordan's mind things will be different this time around, as he is not under estimating Tyler Bate and is fully prepared for him. Instead Jordan comments that he feels Bate might be over looking him. In response to this Bate comments that he is not over looking or under estimating Jordan because in his mind, it's another match with Jordan Devlin. Admitting he knows he's in there with a skilled opponent, Bate remarks he'll never say that Jordan is untalented or dangerous as that's a lie. It's just one thing doesn't change and that is at the end of the match Tyler Bate will get his hand raised.
    Finally talk turns to the King of the Ring tournament itself and the journey both men have taken to the finals as well as what victory would mean to them. For Jordan Devlin, this victory in his mind would mean everything. As he states it would be the full completion of his journey and his means to silence his critics by showing that he can win big matches and that he can in fact defeat Tyler Bate! Bate meanwhile comments that this tournament has been good for his soul as it's given him a chance to face the skeletons in his closet and exorcise those demons. Calling his victories over Trent Seven and Pete Dunne cathartic and the true closing of those chapters in his mind, Bate states that now he is fully focused on what truly matters and that is reclaiming the UK Championship! To close this promo we then hear both men state that they will be King of the Ring!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Match Six: Jordan Devlin vs Tyler Bate - King of the Ring - Finals

    It would then be time for the first of what our commentary team was referring to as a triple main event. Starting out after the in ring introductions both men would shake hands before getting down to business by locking up. From here both men would exchange some holds in the early going as they entered a fast paced chain wrestling sequence to the delight of the crowd. Yet this nice back and forth would soon change after Devlin caught Bate with a drop toe hold and then looked for a standing moonsault across Bate's back. Tyler managed to roll out of the way at the last second and Devlin landed hard across the canvas.

    This allowed Bate to take over the bout in the early going as he land a series of elbows across Jordan's chest. Clearing honing in on the mid section, Bate would exclusively begin to target this area of Jordan's body for the next few minutes. This would include him landing a senton across Jordan's stomach before clamping him in a grounded abdominal stretch. Despite at first being torn, the crowd would begin to rally around Jordan Devlin here as he'd attempt to fight his way to his feet. But as he would begin to get to his feet, Bate began pummelling Jordan's stomach with punches and elbows.

    Eventually however Jordan was able to hip toss Bate, throwing him down to the canvas. Climbing to his feet Bate was then met with a dropkick by Jordan which puts him in the corner. Looking to mount a comeback Devlin began blasting him with chops and punches until Bate eventually caught him with a knee to the mid section. Taking back over the contest, an aggressive Tyler Bate continued his work on Devlin's midsection while Doug Williams remarked that in doing so, he has taken away any attempt of a moonsault by Jordan Devlin.

    This very much would be the story of the bout as Bate would continue to work over Jordan, with Devlin having his moments but never quite being able to get too far ahead thanks to Bate's work on his mid section. A sickening fireman's carry gut buster by Bate would grab him a close near fall as we'd begin to see how Bate started to show signs of frustration. Looking to end things, Bate set up Jordan for a Tyler Driver only to have Jordan spin out and connect with a kick to the side of the head. With Bate stunned, Jordan followed up with an air raid crash for a close near fall.

    Both men remain down on the canvas following this before they each begin to make the climb back to their feet. Having took the brunt of the damage, Jordan takes a lot longer to get up before he and Bate begin to trade punches. This is until Bate is able to connect with the sucker punch on Jordan. With Jordan dazed, Tyler this time sets him up and drives him into the canvas with the Tyler Driver! The crowd are in shock as Bate then makes the cover. 1....2... Devlin kicks out! Climbing the turnbuckles Tyler Bate looks to end things as he leaps off for a big shooting star press.

    However in a true case of a taste of your own medicine, Bate lands stomach first across the knees of Jordan Devlin. Tyler looks to be badly winded by this as he uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Once he is up, he is met with a corkscrew roundhouse kick to the side of the head by Jordan. Tyler is dazed and Jordan follows up with the Ireland's Call while the crowd are on their feet. From here Devlin makes a cover. 1...2... Tyler Bate gets his shoulder up! Rashly Jordan climbs the turnbuckle and he leaps off with a moonsault across the chest of Tyler.

    Landing on top of Bate, Devlin lets out a scream in pain as he clutches his mid section before he begins writing around on the canvas. With Bate motionless, Jordan slowly crawls over to him looking to make a cover. Yet as he drapes an arm over Bate, much to Devlin's dismay Tyler having had time to recover is able to kick out. Gingerly Devlin rises to his feet and grabs Bate by the arm as he drags him up. Devlin is looking to end things with a second Ireland's Call. Yet Bate is able to fight him off and connect with another sucker punch. Sensing victory in his grasp, Bate readies for another Tyler Driver only to be backdropped by Devlin.

    Staggering to his feet clutching his back, Bate is then met with a sucker punch by Jordan to a pop from the crowd. With Tyler stunned, Jordan shocking follows up with a package piledriver! The crowd are on their feet as Devlin then makes a cover. 1...2...3

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match and the 2019 King of the Ring tournament.... Jordan Devlin!

    Everyone in the building is on their feet as the announcement is made and despite being hurt not too mention exhausted Jordan Devlin is able to get to a knee. Emotional following this victory, Jordan climbs to his feet and gets his arm raised high in the air to a tremendous ovation. Overjoyed by his big moment Devlin lets out an impassioned scream before he sees the referee tending to Tyler Bate. Walking over to the downed Bate, Devlin kneels down besides him to show respect and offers him a hand to help him up. Shockingly however Bate kicks Devlin's hand away and elects to roll out to the floor. While Devlin despite being taken aback by this starts to resume his celebration, we see at ringside Tyler Bate refuse the help of the referee as he limps to the back.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Having been laid out earlier by
    Chris Brookes, a panicked Bill Eaver now having regained his faculties looks to make a swift exit from the building. Yet as he reaches the parking lot he finds himself confronted by Charlie Sterling. Having been told of what happened earlier while he was down, Sterling appears to have had his eyes open as he angrily accuses Eaver of using him. Eaver tries to back off and talk his way out of this but he backs up into Chris Brookes. Spinning round Eaver is met with a hard punch to the face by Brookes which sends him towards Charlie who levels him with a clothesline. From here both Sterling and Brookes put the boots to Eaver before Charlie informs him that they are done!
    After their defeat earlier on in the evening the House of Couture are gathered in
    Jinny's private locker room, when the woman herself storms into the room angered at what has transpired. Unable to hide her disgust Jinny begins to berate her entire house starting first on April Davids for taking her eye off the ball. Yet April surprisingly refuses to hear her out and she informs Jinny they are done before she leaves the locker room. Soon after Jinny begins to scold both Killer Kelly and Laura Di Matteo for blowing the 2 to 1 advantage they had a the end. Similar to April, both men had enough and instead they counter that had Jinny not taken their eye off the ball they wouldn't have blown the 3 on 2 one either before they leave. This leaves Jinny with her interns Xia Brookside and Chakara. Both seem a little intimidated of the fashionista and rightly so as she begins to berate them for their part in the defeat. Yet before Jinny could continue it would be Xia Brookside who commented that as of their loss, they no longer work for Jinny before she storms out of the room. Chakara meanwhile takes a moment before she stands up and marches over to Jinny, who despite her loss of power continues insulting Chakara until Chakara slaps her across the face! Jinny is stunned by the blow as Chakara in a fit of rage begins to batter her with punches while Jinny can only cower and try and weather the storm. Once she is composed, Chakara informs Jinny that is for the hell she put her through before she leaves the locker room as well.
    Match Seven: Rhea Ripley vs Tegan Nox - UK Women's Championship - Last Woman Standing
    (Katarina Leigh as special referee)
    The co-main event of the night very much lived up to it's billing as one of if not the most personal rivalry in the UK Brand's history. This is because neither Rhea Ripley or Tegan Nox would wait for the in ring introductions as they begin to trade punches back and forth in the center of the ring while Katarina looks on. Unsurprisingly it doesn't take long for the match to spill out of the ring and to the floor. The crowd in attendance is fully behind the champion as she begins to get the better of Rhea until Ripley lands a well timed kick to Nox's surgically repaired knee.
    As the crowd begins to boo loudly while Tegan drops down onto a knee. From here Ripley is like a predator targeting her prey as she mercilessly attacks Tegan Nox in the early going. However it wasn't long until Rhea was to come into conflict with the special referee Katarina Leigh. These two of course have a history of personal issues in their own right and it's Rhea's argument with Katarina that allows Tegan time to recover before she connects with a spear on Rhea taking her down on the steel entrance ramp to a pop from the crowd in attendance.
    Keeping Rhea grounded, Tegan begins to punish her as the crowd continue to chant for their home native. Eventually Rhea is able to throw her off before getting back to her feet as the battle would continue. As they would brawl through the crowd, finally we'd see some weapons involved as both Tegan and Rhea had their moments using a steel chair on one another before Ripley would begin to use some production wires in an attempt to choke out Tegan Nox. Despite not liking what she is seeing Katarina is powerless to do anything except counting people out.
    Fighting her way out of Rhea's clutches, Tegan would begin to punish the Aussie as she'd begin chasing Rhea down while Rhea looked to return back to the ringside area. A big clothesline by Nox sends Rhea over the guard rail and back to ringside. Propelling herself in the air, Tegan would then wipe out Rhea with a flying clothesline over the guard rail putting her down onto the floor. Much to Tegan's annoyance however Rhea would be up by a count of 4. A turning point however would be Tegan launching herself at Rhea a second time only for Rhea to use her momentum against her and hip toss her into the ring steps.
    Tegan Nox screams out in pain as she clutches her knee in agony while Rhea begins to stomp away at her. Looking to do her job as an official Katarina asks Rhea to step back so she can make a count, yet Rhea instead would shove her back before barking that she is not finished yet. Removing the cover to the announce table, Rhea then follows up by placing Nox on the table before dragging her to her feet. Once she has Nox up, Rhea readies her for the Riptide only to have Nox block it. In a shocking moment Tegan Nox then after blasting Rhea with a series of forearms followed up with a leaping reverse STO putting both of them through the announce table.
    The crowd look on in shock while Katarina then begins to count out both women. Yet as she reaches a count of 7 both women have already began to stir. Despite the damage to her knee, Tegan Nox is the first up and she looks to grab Rhea Ripley only to find Rhea has managed to swipe the hammer for the ring bell and she uses it to take out Tegan's knee. Nox falls to the floor and Rhea snatches another chair which she begins to batter Nox with while the crowd look on in horror. Again Katarina looks to make a count and again she is shoved back by Ripley.
    Continuing the punishment, Rhea reaches under the ring apron and produces a Singapore cane. Before Ripley can blast Nox however, Tegan is able to fire off a few shots to her mid section before pulling the cane from Rhea. To the delight of the crowd Nox would then begin to work over Rhea with the cane until Ripley rolled into the ring. Going after her, Tegan slid into the ring but Ripley met her with a well timed kick to the top of the head. Dragging Tegan to her feet, Ripley tried for the rip tide but Nox again was able to battle out of it and set her up in position for a Canadian destroyer attempt.
    Spinning out Ripley quickly then sent Tegan colliding into Katarina which commentary was quick to speculate as being a deliberate move. Taking advantage of Nox being stunned, Ripley finally was able to drive her down into the canvas with the riptide. Yet with Katarina down, there was no immediate count. This would only incite Ripley who'd drag the GM to her feet and shove her towards Nox as she ordered for her to count. Katarina albeit reluctantly would begin to make the count yet again she'd come into conflict with Rhea who'd begin to scream at her to count faster.
    Eventually growing sick of Rhea's constant abuse Katarina would square up to her while the crowd began to buzz. Yet as we'd hear from Rhea Ripley, Katarina got in trouble enough time last time she hit Rhea Ripley. Katarina takes a step back clearly reconsidering this move while Rhea takes a moment to rub this in. This would soon back fire however as Ripley turned and was blasted over the head with Tegan Nox's knee brace. Having removed her own brace, Nox followed up with a second shot to the head. This drops Rhea to a knee and Nox blasted her with a shining wizard to follow up.
    The crowd are on their feet as Nox hobbles to her feet while Katarina begins to count out Ripley. As Katarina begins to reach a count of 6 however, Rhea Ripley surprisingly began to stir. Using the ropes for support Rhea made it to her feet at a count of 9 while Tegan looked on in disbelief. Full of rage, Ripley would loudly declare that she is not taking this moment from her again before she charges at Tegan only for Tegan to pop up in the air and blast her with a second shining wizard right to the jaw! Clutching her knee as she hits the canvas, Tegan uses the ropes for support while a stunned Rhea Ripley collapses onto a knee. Before the world Tegan Nox then follows up with a Canadian Destroyer in the center of the ring! As the crowd look on in shock and Tegan uses the ropes to get to her feet, Katarina counts out Ripley.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion.. Tegan Nox!
    The crowd explode into cheers as the announcement is made and Tegan Nox slowly limps to the center of the ring. After having her arm raised in the air by Katarina, Tegan is presented with her title and she leaves the ring to celebrate with her faithful. Meanwhile Katarina in continuing to carry out her duties would start to check on the downed Rhea Ripley. Waving for a couple of medics to come down to the ring, Katarina would observe as the medics helped Rhea to her feet. Still unsure of what's gone on having been KOed by the blow, Rhea is only just learning of her defeat here. Yet in a shocking moment as the medics would help Rhea to the ropes, she'd push them to the side and layout Katarina with a brutal lariat! Before anyone could step in Rhea not finished would drag Katarina to her feet and drive her into the mat with the Riptide! From here Rhea finally having cleared the cobwebs would leave the ring while the medics checked on the fallen GM.
    After his big victory in the King of the Ring finals,
    Jordan Devlin reemerges from his locker room to applause from staff, officials and wrestlers alike. His bag over his shoulder Jordan is preparing to make his leave from the building when he catches sight of Trent Seven applauding him rather sarcastically. With his tag title nearby, Seven is smug as he insincerely congratulates Jordan on his big win. Jordan brushes Trent off not looking to let him spoil his big night yet before he can walk on Jordan is blindsided by Pete Dunne! Devlin falls to the ground as both Seven and Dunne begin to kick away at him. Dragging Jordan to his feet, Dunne is very much barking orders as Seven drills him with the tag team title. Standing over Jordan both Dunne and Seven seem to be proud of their work before they walk off down the corridor.
    Main Event: Travis Banks vs Fabian Aichner - UK Championship
    Finally it was then time for the UK Championship match of the evening. After the in ring introductions were finished and the bell had rang these two men met right in the center of the ring as they'd exchange punches and forearms to the crowd's delight. Wisely in the early goings we'd also see a bit of strategy from the fired up Banks' as he'd utilise some hard leg kicks to perhaps chop down the bigger man. This would be until Fabian Aichner was able to catch one of the kicks and pull Banks in for a vicious clothesline the force of which would spin him in the air.
    The match very much would be all Aichner from here as he'd very much delight in what he saw as his prophecy coming true. The crowd however was not impressed with the challenger and his talk as they continued to root for the champion. Continuing his domination Aichner began to throw Banks all across the ring with some big scoop slams in an effort to display his power. Slowly using the corner to get to his feet Banks was able to meet a charging Aichner with a kick to the jaw before he'd follow up with a leaping clothesline taking the Next Level off his feet.
    As Aichner began to take a seated position a penalty kick to the chest from Banks followed causing Aichner to bail out to the floor. Here is where the fired up Travis Banks followed by diving through the bottom and middle ropes to connect with a suicide dive on Aichner. Wasting no time, Banks returned to the ring and he'd follow with a second dive this time going between the middle and top. Once he'd get to his feet Banks responded to the chants of one more time before he'd return to the ring and hit the ropes. However this time his attempt at a suicide plancha over the top rope backfired as Aichner caught him in mid air before slamming him down across the ring apron.
    Displaying that mean streak he has become known for Aichner proceeded to club away at Banks here while he was on the apron until Banks landed some up kicks to the side of Fabian's head. Coming off the apron, Banks took Aichner down with a snapmare on the floor before connecting with a stiff kick across the back. With Aichner arching in pain before getting to his feet, Banks began blasting him with forearms backing Aichner up to where the time keeper resided. Sitting Aichner in the chair, Banks then backed up and charged at Fabian connecting with a meteora.
    With Aichner reeling the match returned to the ring where a series of back elbow strikes by Banks to Aichner in the corner played into effect. Yet as Banks would run across the ring looking for a run up, Aichner followed him by charging out only for Banks to kick out Aichner's leg sending him crashing face first into the turnbucke pad. As Aichner took a seated position in the corner, Banks followed with a cannonball senton before making a cover for a near fall. As the crowd in attendance remained fully behind him, Banks followed with a double stomp across the chest.
    From here Travis dragged Aichner to his feet in the hopes of going for the Kiwi Crusher yet Aichner shoved him off into the ropes. Leaping into the air, Aichner looked for his devastating dropkick but Banks having it scouted managed to side step at the last second leaving Aichner to crash on the canvas. A diving stomp across Aichner's back then followed before Travis looked to clamp him in a Cloverleaf submission hold. Fabian however is able to kick Banks away before trying to get to his feet. As he'd take a knee however, Banks attempted a kick but Aichner is able to catch it before lifting Banks into the air as he gets to his feet.
    With Banks up Aichner is able to drive him into the canvas with a powerbomb! The crowd are in shock as Aichner then makes a cover. 1....2... Banks kicks out! Aichner looks to be in a state of shock as he falls back against the ropes. Once Banks gets to his feet Fabian charges at him looking for a spear but Banks is able to counter with a well timed knee to the top of the head! Aichner is stunned and Banks follows up with the Kiwi Crusher! A cover follows 1....2.... Aichner kicks out! No one can believe it as the ref declares that as a two count, Banks meanwhile refusing to lose sight traps Aichner in a arm trap crossface.
    Hoping to induce a tap out, Banks cranks on the submission until that frightening power of Aichner comes into display. With Banks still hanging on him Fabian is able to get to his feet before he drops Banks viciously across his knee with a break breaker. Travis screams out in pain as he falls to the canvas while Aichner again backs onto the ropes. Climbing to his feet, Banks is grimacing in pain as he clutches his back until he is blasted with a dropkick by Aichner directly to the back itself to the horror of the crowd. This puts Banks on the canvas in a heap while Aichner looks proud of his work.
    Loudly declaring that the title is his now, Aichner stands over Banks and begins to punch him to the top of the head before he pummels him with some elbows reminiscent to his stoppage victory. This is until Banks is able to use his legs to trap Aichner in a triangle choke! Aichner tries to fight his way out while Travis begins elbowing the top of his head. With Aichner reeling, Travis transitions into the koji clutch! This being the move that won him the title, Banks can be heard screaming out as he mounts the pressure on Fabian Aichner.
    Desperately Aichner tries for the ropes but he is unable to reach them. In a last ditch move Aichner begins to bounce Banks' head off the canvas hoping this will loosen his grip and it does! With Banks groggy Aichner keeps hold of him as he again climbs to his feet while keeping hold of Banks. This time Travis is able to drop to his feet however yet he is destroyed with a dropkick to the face by Aichner. With Banks reeling Fabian Aichner then plants him with the Hasta La Vista! The crowd are stunned as Aichner makes the cover.
    1...2...3!
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match and the.. NEW UNITED KINGDOM CHAMPION FABIAN AICHNER!
    First there is silence as the shock and horror of the situation settles in. Slowly thanks to the referee the new champion is able to climb to his feet and once he is up Fabian Aichner begins smirking arrogantly as he is passed his championship. After getting his arm raised in victory, Fabian Aichner stands over the fallen Travis Banks and symbollically places his foot on the former champions chest before holding the championship aloft. With that the UK Showcase comes to a close with the last sounds being that of the booing crowd in attendance.
    Re: WWE United Kingdom Brand
    Post Showcase news!
    ~ As we'd learn during the show, a new championship has potentially arrived to the UK brand. This of course is the Commonwealth Championship that is being held by Timothy Thatcher. While we have yet to recieve confirmation in regards to whether this title has officially been sanctioned or not, what we do know is that Thatcher will in fact be making his debut title defense this coming week against a to be determined opponent.
    ~ Following the showcase we have learned of a series of departures from the UK Brand. The names confirmed to be departing the brand include Bill Eaver, Damian Dunne, BT Gunn, Andy Simmons, James Tighe, Wild Boar and Josh Bodom. Bodom of course is no surprise thanks to him recently being written off TV with the reason of a bad attitude being cited. In regards to the Iron Lions and Wild Boar, it is said while the three men hadn't officially signed with the brand and were more here on a trial basis. The reasoning for their departures is said to be that their stories had simply came to an end. BT Gunn might be a surprise to some based on his status as a former title contender. Yet Gunn and his departure is said to be amicable based on the fact that his role had greatly reduced since the early goings and the belief that creative simply had nothing for him. Damian Dunne and his departure, simply came down to creative changes. While the deputy had given a good account for himself and was able to garner some very good heat. It was said that management felt that for the time being, he didn't truly fit in with what the brand was aiming for. Lastly the biggest surprise of the bunch maybe that of Bill Eaver. This departure is down to a few reasons with one being the shift in his current storyline which of course was impacted by Bodom's departure. The other being that it was felt for one reason or another Eaver's character just wasn't clicking with the audience. However it is said that management are in fact open to Eaver coming back in the future perhaps as a wrestler.
    ~ With a number of special appearances as of late from wwe talents from other brands. This has been done for several reasons, one being to gain more eyes on the brand while another is to give it's own talents more exposure by having them work with these established stars. While there is no plans yet for them to come in, Management has a little shortlist of names they'd like to have appear including Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, The Hardy Boys, Aleister Black, Cesaro, Kushida and The Undisputed Era.
    ~ Despite their departures not yet being announced a few talents in the UK Brand at the moment are said to be on the bubble. Names mentioned here include Ashton Smith, Charlie Morgan, Clement Petoit, Morgan Webster, Kasey Owens, Rampage Brown, Tyson T-Bone, Charlie Sterling and Wolfgang. All mentioned very much have found themselves either lost in the shuffle or greatly over shadowed as of late. However management remains high on those mentioned and creative feel they have talent. Which is why the intention is to attempt to give those mentioned more of a case to showcase themselves and escape the bubble.
    ~ Expect to see quite a few new faces pop up in both UK Rumbles when the matches take place. As this will be a chance for management to scout new talents by very much putting them out there in front of the UK Brand crowd and seeing who clicks as part of the brand. Two men who have yet to debut but are expected to be apart of the match are Cara Noir and Steve Xavier. While today it can be confirmed that both Spike Trivet and the OJMO have signed contracts to become apart of the brand and will also be showing up in the UK Rumble.
    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 065 ~ London's Calling
    London, England
    14/2/19
    Dark Match: Tyson T-Bone and Wolfgang defeated Rampage Brown and Ashton Smith
    Wolfgang pinned Ashton Smith following the Howling
    Dusted by Astroid Boys begins to play as this latest edition of the UK Brand kicks off with a video package
    which highlights the UK Showcase. Filled with big moments we'd see clips of Kenny Williams and Matt Riddle defeating Morgan Webster and Wild Boar. From here we'd see Millie McKenzie being the last survivor in the elimination tag match before Mark Andrews victory over rival Damian Dunne is covered. Once this is done, clips of the tag team turmoil is focused including the surprising return of Shane Thorne as well as the addition of Pete Dunne and Trent Seven to the bout who'd in fact win the titles from the Coffey Brothers. The King of the Ring tournament was next profiled ending with Devlin's big victory before we'd see Tegan Nox retain her title and Rhea's post match assault on Katarina Leigh. Finally the video ends with the shocking moment where Fabian Aichner won the title from Travis Banks. The video then comes to an end before our show from London officially begins. With a packed crowd in attendance hyped for tonight's events, both Doug Williams and John Gooden hype up tonight's event before sending us to ringside.
    A video package plays on the titantron and it's shot in the night as we see snow falling across a large stone castle. Very much giving us Game of Thrones' vibes, we'd see a variety of knights all take a knee as slowly emerging from the castle dressed very similarly to Jon Snow is the "King of the North" Jordan Devlin. As Jordan stands before his army, the crowd in attendance explode into cheers while the lights in the building go out. On the screen, we see clips of Jordan rallying his troups before drawing a sword as he announces a charge for battle. From here we'd hear the opening strands of his theme before Jordan Devlin walks out from the back.
    Once he reaches the ring Jordan takes a microphone and as he stands in the ring, he has a smile on his face while the crowd continue chanting for him. Talking openly, Jordan calls his king of the ring victory the biggest moment of his career. Thrilled to finally have put those doubts about his credibility and ability to win a big match aside, Jordan states confidently that right now he is at the top of his game and will only continue to get better. It is then that Jordan mentions that with his King of the Ring he has been granted a future championship match against the United Kingdom Champion Fabian Aichner!
    This causes the crowd to pop while Jordan Devlin begins to get serious. Stating that he has wanted a title match for the longest time, Jordan admits he relishes the chance to get this opportunity. However right at this moment, it is with regret that Jordan has requested that his title match be put on hold! this news stuns the crowd while Devlin takes a moment before continuing. Footage then plays on the titantron of the assault Devlin suffered at the UK Showcase at the hands of Trent Seven and Pete Dunne. Stating that he wants to have his focus fully on the title, Jordan promises that before he makes his challenge. He will get even with both Seven and Pete Dunne for their cowardly, cheap shot attack.
    There is a surprisingly mixed response from the crowd as Tyler Bate walks out onto the stage. Walking down to the ring, Tyler Bate grabs himself a microphone before he climbs through the ropes. Standing across from Jordan Devlin, Tyler Bate looks round at the crowd and their reaction before he nods his head. Admitting that at the UK Showcase, Bate felt based on their track record of matches he felt he had the King of the ring tournament in the bag. Yet instead Jordan Devlin upped his game and pulled out the victory to become the King of the Ring himself.
    Calling his defeat a bitter pill to swallow, Tyler Bate stares at Jordan Devlin a moment before he praises Jordan and calls him a worthy king. Admitting that he should have handled himself better following the match, Bate asks for a chance to redeem himself and do what he should have done at the UK Showcase event. Extending his arm Tyler Bate offers Jordan a handshake which Jordan after taking a moment counters by shaking Tyler Bate's hand to a cheer from the crowd. Grabbing Jordan by the wrist, Tyler then follows by raising Devlin's arm high in the air to a loud pop.
    After he lowers Devlin's arm Bate then begins to address the actions of Pete Dunne and Trent Seven. Apologising to Jordan, Tyler reveals following his defeat he stormed backstage and grabbed his stuff before storming out of the building. Had he not of done that Tyler remarks that he'd have had Jordan's back. With that Bate closes out this promo by stating that if Jordan Devlin is willing to give him a chance, Tyler will happily stand alongside him as he looks for revenge against the tag team champions Pete Dunne and Trent Seven. Nodding his head Jordan Devlin accepts and the two men shake hands as this promo comes to a close.
    __________________________________________________
    Match One: Shane Thorne vs Charlie Sterling
    The opening bout of the night would very much serve as a reintroduction of sorts for both men competing. On one hand you had Charlie Sterling, now on his own following the departure of Bill Eaver and looking to refind his identity. While on the other side, you had Shane Thorne who made his shocking return at the UK Showcase and cost his former team Aussie Open their spot in the tag team turmoil match. This was a decent contest to warm up the fans but it must be said, the crowd wasn't fully invested as while they hated Thorne, they wasn't really behind Sterling. In the end after 6 minutes of action it would be a northern lariat by Shane Thorne which picked him up the victory.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Shane Thorne!
    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Shane Thorne climbs to his feet in the ring. After getting his arm raised, the smug Thorne mockingly takes a bow while the referee checks on the downed Sterling.
    __________________________________________________
    Footage filmed from earlier on in the day is then shown as we see both
    Kenny Williams and Mark Andrews making their arrival to the building. Both men are seemingly in high spirits as they congratulate one another on their victories at the UK Showcase. This is until they are met by a young man who calls himself Thomas Dawkins. Soft spoken and humble, Dawkins admits that he is a fan of both men and he is honored to be apart of the same brand as Williams and Andrews. Both Kenny and Mark seem a bit taken aback by this as Dawkins follows by announcing tonight he will be wrestling Timothy Thatcher for his Commonwealth championship. Wishing him luck in his match both Kenny and Mark promise to watch before they walk into the building.
    __________________________________________________
    Standing by along with
    Joanna Rose in the GM's office is Wade Barrett. During the first of what is said to be a two part interview through the night, Wade addresses some of the situations we find ourselves in following the UK Showcase. Addressing the women's match and specifically what went on following it, Wade reveals that having spoken privately with WWE's board of directors Katarina Leigh has been given a few weeks vacation. Which means in the meantime he will be running the UK Brand overall. In regards to Rhea Ripley, Wade confirms that he has suspended her for her actions with no time table yet set for her return.
    __________________________________________________
    A special video package is then played set to the tune of "Enemy Unseen" by Kreator. This video focuses on a series of brawls and battles that have taken place over the past few months between both
    Dakota Kai and April Davids. While they may have been apart of rival factions, it's clear from the footage shown that there was some bad blood here in their interactions. As per these video packages, in between these cuts we'd see various clips of interviews conducted with both women about the match. Davids in her promo talks about the purpose of her team the Female Fight Factory. Stating that herself, Killer Kelly and Laura Di Matteo had a purpose when it came to the UK Brand and that was to show they aren't here to simply be famous or live a fairytale like many of the little girls on the roster. Instead they have come here to fight and give these girls a rude awakening. Branding Dakota Kai as a delusional little girl, April Davids proclaims next week the fairytale will be over and that there will not be a happy ending. Instead Dakota Kai will get a rude awakening and a violent beating. Kai meanwhile in her promo, remarks that she has heard Davids claims about the Female Fight Factory. But they are nowhere near as noble as Davids proclaims. Calling them thugs who relish at the chance to break legs for a price. Dakota counters that she is more than aware that next week she will be in for a fight. Yet the difference is Dakota has shown in the past that when the chips are down, she can handle business on her own and dig down deep when the time calls. To close the promo, Kai promises to prove that when the chips are down however. April Davids will do what every bully does someone stands up to them and that is back down!
    __________________________________________________
    Match Two: Charlie Morgan and Kasey Owens vs The Female Fight Factory (Laura Di Matteo and Killer Kelly)
    Tag Team action would then follow as two teams with their fair share of history would do battle. A unsurprisingly physical collision, this bout very much saw the referee use his discretion as he'd give both teams leeway in an effort to take out their frustrations on one another. Towards the end of the match, the Female Fight Factory would begin to take over as Kelly was able to superkick Morgan off of the apron leaving Kasey Owens at their mercy. Yet as they'd begin to set her up for a total elimination, Charlie Morgan was able to spring into the ring and hit Kelly with a dropkick. As Kelly fell out of the ring, Laura rushed to attack Charlie only to be met with a superkick. Laura staggered backwards and was clamped in a crossface chicken wing by Owens which forced the submission!
    Shepherd: And the winners of the match Charlie Morgan and Kasey Owens!
    The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as the announcement is made. After releasing the hold, Kasey Owens climbs to her feet before she and Charlie get her arms raised in the air by the referee.
    __________________________________________________
    It's now time for our latest walk through the rose garden with
    Joanna Rose and she is joined by her special guest Chakara for this exclusive interview. Giving us our first glimpse into Chakara as a person. Revealing that she hasn't been in the business long, Chakara calls herself a life long wrestling fan who always dreamed of being a wrestler herself. Commenting that in her youth as only 19 years old, Chakara was overwhelmed on reaching her goal. Calling her intimidation and fear a weakness to predators, Chakara admitted that when Jinny first offered her a job as her intern with part of it bringing her to the WWE. Naivity played a part in Chakara saying yes as she failed to realise that she'd be little more than Jinny's punching bag. However now Chakara has had her eyes opened and now she's confident enough to know she belongs here! Yet she knows now that she's on her own, she has to prove to everyone else she does so as well. Which is why she is using this time to challenge Jinny to a match! Closing this promo, Chakara makes it clear that now it's Jinny's time to ber her punching bag.
    __________________________________________________
    Post Show footage from the UK Showcase 4 is then shown and it focuses on the victorious team celebrating their win after the women's elimination tag team match. Yet this celebation is soon cut short as
    Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm come face to face with one another. Having had some noted collisions and bad blood with one another, there is some clear tension as they face off. Reminding Toni that she is due a rematch, Kay Lee Ray remarks that she is here to collect on that promise. Toni counters that all she has to do is name the time and the place, to which Kay Lee Ray cites this week's show!
    __________________________________________________
    Returning to ringside the cameras first take a moment to pan round the notably hostile crowd in attendance before focus turns to the top of the ramp where the new United Kingdom Champion
    Fabian Aichner is standing with his title raised in the air. Along with Aichner is John Gooden who looks to conduct a special live interview with the champion. Aichner is unsurprisingly boastful as he proclaims that his prophecy became true and the championship is now rightfully where it belongs with him. This only furhter draws Aichner boos from the crowd before Gooden asks Fabian what comes next for him now he has won the title. Responding that he has done what he wants so far since coming to the UK Brand, Aichner makes it clear that unlike Travis Banks he will not be a protected champion or hide from defending his belt. In fact Fabian goes as far as to promise that he will be defending his championship next week against a suitable opponent!
    __________________________________________________
    Match Three: Timothy Thatcher vs Thomas Dawkins - Commonwealth Championship
    Up next would be our first look at the "new" championship brought into the UK Brand as Timothy Thatcher made his first defense of his commonwealth championship as he battled young prospect Thomas Dawkins. Despite starting out the bout with a handshake, it wouldn't appear that there was much in the way of respect from Thatcher towards his young opponent. In fact it appeared that Thatcher enjoyed torturing him as he'd contort Dawkins body with several holds while keeping a lot of focus on the left shoulder. Towards the end of the bout, Dawkins began to mount a slight comeback as he caught Thatcher with some right handed punches only to be quelled with a vicious headbutt by the defending champion. With Dawkins falling to a knee Thatcher clamped on a fujiwara armbar on the left arm for the victory.
    Shepherd:
    And the winner of the match Timothy Thatcher!
    There is a few boos from the crowd as the announcement is made while Thatcher keeps the hold locked on for a couple of extra seconds longer than necessary. Once he is to his feet, Thatcher gets his arm raised in the air before he snatches the downed Dawkins by left arm and shakes his hand rather aggressively. With that Thatcher has his arm raised in the air before the referee tends to Dawkins.
    __________________________________________________
    Returning back to the GM's office,
    Joanna Rose looks to catch word with Wade Barrett in regards to the status of Travis Banks. Acknowleding that Banks is not 100 percent following his match with Fabian Aichner at the UK Showcase, Wade states that for those who remember he never wanted this match to begin with. As he saw that as tough as Banks was, everytime he battled with Aichner he got hurt. Now regrettably he is banged up and thus Wade has given him a few weeks off to recover. Before Wade can continue however his office door is swung open forcefully before both Mark Coffey and Joe Coffey storm in. Neither man appears to be in a pleasant mood as Joe Coffey barks at the intimidated Joanna Rose to leave. While Joanna is quick to make her exit, Mark informs Barrett it is time they talk while Joe Coffey declares in private and shoves the camera man forcefully out of the room!
    __________________________________________________
    Main Event: Kay Lee Ray vs Toni Storm
    Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and this of course was a rematch from a few weeks ago as Kay Lee Ray battled Toni Storm. Having developed quite the surprisingly competitive rivalry that they have, it should be no surprise that this was quite the rugged contest and filled with some absolutely brutal moments. Highlights would include Kay Lee Ray hitting a nasty double stomp to Toni Storm while she was laid across the ring apron, as well as Toni in fact returning the favor by spiking Kay Lee with an air raid crash on the ring apron. As the match reached it's fifteen minute mark, the crowd in attendance was on it's feet as both women battled it out tooth and nail until Kay Lee Ray countered a strong zero attempt and followed up with a superkick to the jaw of Storm. With Storm dazed a gory bomb followed and this was enough for Kay Lee Ray to get the victory!
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Kay Lee Ray!
    The crowd in attendance are on their feet as the announcement is made and Kay Lee Ray with help from the referee is able to stand up. Despite the beating she took and the fatigue, Kay Lee Ray stands tall with her arm raised while slowly in the corner Toni Storm pulls herself to her feet. Once she is up, Toni approaches Kay Lee and again offers her a handshake. Much to her annoyance however, Kay Lee Ray refuses to accept it as instead she exits the ring while the show comes to a close.
    WWE United Kingdom Brand ~ Episode 066 ~ Hard Road
    21/2/19
    Birmingham, England
    Dark Match: Rampage Brown and Ashton Smith defeated Chuck Mambo and Spike Trivet
    Rampage Brown pinned Spike Trivet following a powerbomb
    Dusted by Astroid Boys plays as this latest edition of the United Kingdom Brand opens up from Birmingham, England. As always we begin with a video package highlighting the events of the past week's show. This starts out with Jordan Devlin's opening promo and his alignment with Tyler Bate as they unite to go against Pete Dunne and Trent Seven. From there we see clips of some of the matches that took place including the in ring debut of the Commonwealth Champion Timothy Thatcher as well a rematch between Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm. With that the recap comes to an end and we see cuts of the building and the crowd in attendance before we get taken to the commentary table where John Gooden and Doug Williams are seated.
    John: Ladies and Gentleman, good evening and welcome to the latest edition of the WWE United Kingdom Brand. I am John Gooden and as always I am joined by a true pioneer of UK Wrestling Doug Williams, now Doug would you agree with me in saying that we have a big night ahead of us?
    Doug: One hundred percent John, because in our main event tonight we will see two women who cannot stand each other compete in a street fight as Dakota Kai takes on April Davids.
    John: Plus we also have a promised United Kingdom Championship match set for later on, yet speaking of championships our first match of the night will see the apparent new championship in the brand, The Commonwealth Championship held by Timothy Thatcher up for grabs. Thatcher of course made his in ring debut last week with a successful defense of his title, what do you think of this upcoming match and the champion, Doug?
    Doug: Thatcher is nasty John. Plain and Simple. We saw that last week in his first defense. Now whether that title has officially been sanctioned or recognized is another thing, but last week he looked very good against dare I say it an overmatched opponent. Bless his heart, Thomas Dawkins is a young man with a hell of a future but that was a case of too much too soon. Whereas tonight Thatcher has a real test against a true veteran of the UK Scene El Ligero. This will tell just what we can expect of the so called Commonwealth Champion.
    John: Not to mention, unlike Dawkins who very much tried to out wrestle Thatcher. El Ligero brings with him a high flying, high impact style which could cause the champion problems. Let's head to ringside now with Andy Shepherd as he will do the introductions for this bout.
    Shepherd: It is now time for our opening bout of the evening and this match is set for a fifteen minute time limit with the Commonwealth Championship up for grabs. Introducing first the challenger. He stands at 5 foot 8 inches tall and he weighs in tonight at a 160 pounds. Hailing from Los Sanchos, Mexico he is EL LIGERO!
    ~ Hope - There's No Way Out Of Here ~
    There is some respectful applause as a fired up El Ligeo emerges from the back. Making his way down to the ring, El Ligero high fives a few fans before hopping up onto the apron and jumping over the top rope into the ring
    .
    Shepherd: Now introducing the reigning and defending Commonwealth Champion. He stands at 6 foot 3 inches tall and he is weighing in tonight at 238 pounds. Hailing from Sacramento, California. He is the self proclaimed "British Messiah" Timothy Thatcher!
    ~ Toreador - Apocalyptica ~
    It has to be noted there are a fair share of boos from the crowd as the Commonwealth Champion emerges from the back. With his title belt around his waist, the stoic champion begins his slow walk down to the ring. Once he is up on the apron, Thatcher adheres to the custom of wiping one's feet before entering the ring. Once he is in the ring, Thatcher removes his championship and holds it in the air as he stares down his opponent.
    Match One: Timothy Thatcher vs El Ligero ~ Commonwealth Championship Match
    The bell rings to start the match and as we saw last week, Timothy Thatcher is quick to offer a handshake to his opponent El Ligero. Despite his hesitation, El Ligero accepts the offer before the two men tie up with another. Being the bigger and stronger man Thatcher is able to easily out muscle El Ligero in the early going as he backs him up against the turnbuckle. The referee is quick to force a break and Thatcher backs up with his hands raised in the air, yet as Ligero steps out from the corner Thatcher cracks him with a headbutt putting him down on the canvas.
    John: Oh come on! That was a blatant cheapshot there by Timothy Thatcher!
    Doug: You know, I don't think it was John. You've got to protect yourself at all times, plus he honored the break the referee asked for.
    The crowd in attendance boos loudly as Thatcher very much has firm control of the bout from this point. Looking to wear down his opponent, Thatcher contorted Ligero in a variety of different holds as he looked very much to punish his midsection. To his credit El Ligero was able to persevere this onslaught despite being trapped in a grounded abdominal stretch and Thatcher using his forearm to club the mid section. With the crowd behind him El Ligero eventually made it to his feet and was able to throw Thatcher down with a hip toss. Despite his midsection being weakened and a shortness of breath, El Ligero began to launch into a comeback.
    John: Despite the damage he has received, Ligero is beginning to mount a comeback. The question is, will the damage Thatcher has done to his midsection hinder him in anyway.
    Doug: I think it will John, Ligero's offense is very much fast paced and high impact. If he's unable to catch his breath especially, it will definitely play an effect and fast.
    A big dropkick follows sending Thatcher into the corner before Ligero connects with a running forearm smash to the jaw. This shot has Thatcher dazed and Ligero follows up with a tornado DDT for a quick count of two. Looking to follow up his wave of momentum, Ligero drags Thatcher to his feet and backs him into the corner before he tries to lift him up into a tree of woe position. Yet Thatcher is able to land a well timed knee to the body which winds Ligero and allows the commonwealth champion to follow up with a big gut wrench suplex. Keeping ahold of Ligero's waist, Thatcher deadlifts Ligero and plants him into the canvas with a second suplex.
    Doug: This is what I mean by Thatcher being nasty, he knows exactly where he has Ligero hurt and he goes right for it. It's like one of those nature documentaries about Predators and their prey.
    John: Unfortunately for the fans in attendance and for El Ligero it looks like you might be right Doug. Thatcher is so methodical and dare I say old school in how once he senses weakness in part of your body, that is precisely where he attacks.
    Quickly Thatcher snatches the legs of Ligero as he tries to put him in a Boston Crab only for Ligero to connect with an upkick to the jaw. With Thatcher stunned Ligero rolls to his feet before he connects with a boot to the jaw of Thatcher stunning him further. Thatcher is then put down with a leg sweep by Ligero who slowly climbs up to the top rope. The crowd rallied behind him, Ligero leaps off for a Mexican splash only to have Thatcher raise his knees in the air. Ligero lands gut first across Thatcher's knees and he wheezes in pain as the wily champion gets to his feet. Wasting no time, Thatcher follows up by trapping Ligero in a nasty bow and arrow submission hold. Trapped and with nowhere to go El Ligero is forced to tap out!
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still champion Timothy Thatcher!
    John: Two weeks and two wins in a row for the Commonwealth Champion.
    Doug: What's frightening John, is that there's no traits from Thatcher. You can't scout these matches for insight as he's put away both men by submission yes. But he's put them away with submissions targeting different parts of the anatomy.
    John: It has to be said, take nothing away from El Ligero but honestly once Thatcher got his knees up on that splash. The result was academic with the champion retaining.
    The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Timothy Thatcher rises to his feet in the ring but not first without taking his time to release the hold. Having his hand raised in victory, Timothy Thatcher has a look of pride on his face as he is presented with his commonwealth championship. After standing tall in the ring with the title, Thatcher walks over and stands above the downed Ligero before snatching his hand and shaking it. From here Thatcher makes his exit while the referee continues to tend to El Ligero.
    On the titantron we see footage played from earlier on in the night. The focus being the arrival to the building of "The King of the North" Jordan Devlin. Once Jordan has parked up in his car, he steps out of his vehicle and grabs his bag before walking through the parking lot and into the building. Yet as Jordan walks into the locker room area he is surprised to find the room empty while he drops his bag on a bench. However he is not alone for long, as the doors to the locker room fly open before the former UK Tag Team Champions Mark Coffey and his brother Joe Coffey enter the room. Despite both brothers glaring at him, Jordan seems relatively unconcerned as he extends his hand in a sign of respect.
    Jordan: Can I help you guys?
    Mark and Joe slowly turn their heads to one another before Mark sneers and glares back at Jordan who having got the hint pulls his hand back.
    Mark: Can you help us... You know what! As a matter of fact you can Jordan.
    While Jordan looks on in confusion, Mark Coffey continues to glare at him until Joe speaks up.
    Joe: You see Jordan, both myself and my brother have a lot of respect for you. The reason for this is because you've shown a lot of grit and fire to get where you are right now. The 2019 King of the Ring winner and not to mention the rightful number one contender to the United Kingdom Championship.
    Despite his confusion at the serious tone and the glares he is recieving, Jordan Devlin nods his head before he responds.
    Jordan: As do I have a lot of respect for you guys. Your title reign here was historic and it was a travesty how it ended!
    Mark: Well at least we agree on something!
    Confusion turns to iritation as Devlin now meets Mark with a glare of his own. A moment passes following the two locking eyes and it is Jordan who speaks.
    Jordan: I'm sorry? Look, clearly you boys are here to make a point about something. So how about you stop wasting mine and your own time by just spitting it out?
    This time Joe Coffey is the one who sneers while he grits his teeth. Yet again he remains calm, Mark however definitely the aggressor of the two is not as composed.
    Mark: Who do you think you are? You should know your place before you talk to us like that!
    Putting his arm out in front of his brother, Joe Coffey mutters under his breath for Mark to cool it before he looks back at Jordan.
    Joe: You'll have to excuse my brother's behavior. As you can imagine, it's been a trying time for both him and me. This is why we've come here now to speak with you Jordan. Because we do respect you and what you've done in the ring as a singles competitor. Which is the point we are here to make.
    Mark: See we heard you last week, you and your little buddy Tyler talking about going after Pete Dunne and Trent Seven. In fact you two made it sound like that was going to happen sooner rather than later.
    Jordan: Which it will! I don't see what that has to do with you guys though.
    Joe: Oh don't you? Well allow us to enlighten you.
    Mark: You see Jordan, all this talk of your revenge against them has caused you to forget something. We also want our revenge and we want our championships back!
    Joe: Which can't happen when both you and Tyler Bate start thinking you can jump the que. Because news flash, while you've done well lately. You've done well as a singles competitor not in a tag team. So if you and Tyler Bate think that you will face Dunne and Seven before we do, then you boys are surely mistaken! You must think you dealing with somebody else! Because we do not let slights like that stand.
    Before Jordan Devlin can respond, the doors to the locker room again open before this time it is Tyler Bate who walks into the room. Immediately on seeing the hostile situation, Bate stands by Devlin's side.
    Bate: Now what's going on here? You wasn't thinking of starting any party without me was you?
    Mark: Well this makes life easier, as we was going to find you next.
    Joe: You two stay away from Dunne and Seven. Once we are done with them, you can have the scraps!
    Bate looks at the pair in disbelief before he shakes his head.
    Bate: Sorry guys, but that doesn't work for me. Nor does it work for Jordan!
    While Devlin is seemingly a little taken aback by this, before he can respond Tyler speaks up a second time.
    Bate: Now if you guys have got a problem with that, we can fight about it!
    A few moments pass before both Mark and Joe Coffey begin to smirk having finally heard something they like.
    Mark: Now that is something we are always game for.
    Joe: Just name the time and the place... Hell we could do it now!
    Sighing to himself while Tyler Bate starts to roll his sleeves up, Jordan Devlin finally speaks up.
    Devlin: No. If we are going to have to do this, let's do it right! So let's say next week in the middle of the ring. How does that sound with you?
    Without any hesitation both Coffey boys nod their heads before they turn their backs on Bate and Devlin. Joe Coffey is the first to leave the room and just as Mark Coffey is about to leave he faces both Jordan and Bate one last time before issuing a warning.
    Mark: Before we go, just know what will happen could have been avoided had you not been so stupid. You've let your heart rule your head and refused to see sense by staying in your lane. Now, we've got to hurt both of you... It's a shame really but you've got to be careful what you wish for. See you next week!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Post Show footage from last week is then played and this time the focus is on a very disappointed Thomas Dawkins. Having been beaten in his UK Brand debut by Timothy Thatcher, Dawkins is virtually inconsolable as he buries his face in his hands while sitting alone in the locker room. This is until both Mark Andrews and Kenny Williams walk into the room to check on him and see how he is doing. On seeing the state Dawkins is in, Mark Andrews sits down across from him while Kenny Williams grabs the chair next to him and places his hand on Dawkins' shoulder.

    Kenny: You alright Tom?

    Dawkins slowly looks up and turns his head to face Williams.

    Thomas: This wasn't how I wanted my debut to go. I really wanted to get a win out there.

    Williams nods his head understandingly while Andrews speaks.

    Andrews: You have nothing to be ashamed of mate, Thatcher is a tough opponent for anyone. If anything you should be proud of how well you did out there.

    Turning to look at Andrews, the distraught Dawkins takes a moment before responding.

    Dawkins: You think so?

    Andrews smiles before he nods his head.

    Andrews: Yeah! Of course I do. You said it last week you've not been wrestling long. Yet you had the balls to go out there against a true veteran of this game and give it your all. That is nothing to be ashamed of in my book! Ain't that right Kenny.

    Nodding his head Kenny again pats Dawkins on the back.

    Kenny: That's right. You have absolutely nothing to be down about. Sure tonight didn't go your way but there's always another match and given time, who knows you might get another crack at Thatcher.

    Seemingly having calmed down Thomas Dawkins finally begins to smile.

    Dawkins: Thanks guys.. I really appreciate this. You've got no idea how much your support means to me.

    Both Andrews and Kenny smile before they nod their heads and then stand up before they begin to walk to the door.

    Kenny: Now look, we're gonna hit the town tonight and you are coming with. Get yourself ready and we'll be waiting outside.

    Nodding his head in agreement Thomas Dawkins smiles as both Kenny Williams and Mark Andrews exit the room. As he takes a moment, Dawkins notices that Kenny Williams has left his hat on the chair next to him. Picking it up, Dawkins brings it close to his face and takes a sniff of it before bringing it down to his chest as he closes his eyes. As a moment passes, Dawkins begins to smile creepily.

    Dawkins: He really does like me after all.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Doug: OK, That was weird!
    John: Yeah, I don't really know what we just saw from Dawkins there. I guess he's just happy to be friends with Kenny Williams. As you and I both know from talking to him last week, Thomas Dawkins genuinely credits Kenny Williams especially for him wanting to be in the business.
    Doug: Still doesn't change that. I'd be a bit wary of Dawkins now if I was Kenny Williams that's for sure.
    John: While that maybe up for debate Doug, two men who will not be wary of each other will compete in our next bout of the night as Wolfgang battles Tyson T-Bone.
    Doug: This is a bout I've been quietly looking forward to all night. These two men are two of the toughest guys I've ever met and I'm expecting just a wild brawl out of these two. So let's hurry up and get this started.
    Shepherd: Up next we have our second contest of the evening and it is set for one fall with a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, from Glasgow, Scotland. Standing at 6 foot 1 inches tall and weighing in at 255 pounds. He is "The Regulator" Wolfgang.
    ~ Slide - CFO$ ~
    The crowd gives some respectful applause as Wolfgang emerges from the back and makes his way down to the ring. Raring to go, Wolfgang paces back and forth in the ring as he waits for his opponent.
    Shepherd: And now introducing his opponent. Coming to us from Worcester, England. He stands at 6 foot tall and is weighing in at 244 pounds. He is "The Gypsy" Tyson T-Bone!
    ~ Get what you want - Wizards of Oz ~
    Again the crowd give some respectful applause as Tyson T-Bone storms his way down to the ring. Once in the ring T-Bone squares up to Wolfgang and the two men trade some trash talk as they seem eager to get things started.
    Match Two: Tyson T-Bone vs Wolfgang
    The bell rings to start the match and unsurprisingly this bout kicks off not with a lock up but with a bunch of strong language and hard shoves to the chest. It doesn't take long for things to soon escalate between the two men as they begin firing off punches at one another. There are some loud cracks echoing through the building as these two men look to pummel one another and force each other to take a step backwards. Despite the crowd not being that invested at the beginning of this bout, thanks to the sheer barfight feel these two are giving off it doesn't take long for them to win over the audience.
    John: Well this match is certainly living up to it's billing. These two men are brutalising one another.
    Doug: Like I said before, the second this bout was announced this is what I was hoping to see. This bout is delivering violence in spades so far.
    A nasty elbow strike by Wolfgang puts T-Bone on the back foot and sensing blood Wolfgang continues this onslaught as he batters T-Bone with elbow strikes. Backing T-Bone up onto the ropes, Wolfgang runs across the ring into the ropes opposite before charging at his foe with a forceful clothesline. T-Bone goes flying over the top rope and out to the floor while a fired up Wolfgang howls to the crowd's delight. Hitting the ropes Wolfgang charges off as he prepares for a suicide dive but as he dives through the ropes T-Bone side steps at the last second and connects with a right hand to the side of Wolfgang's head as he hits the ground in a heap.
    John: A nasty landing there for Wolfgang, this very well could be the turning point in the match.
    Doug: That's the old saying of high risk and high reward. If it had paid off Wolfgang could have had the match one. Unfortunately however he's crashed and burned here!
    There is a loud oooh from the crowd as T-Bone has Wolfgang down at ringside and he begins to club away at his face with some forearm strikes. Using one of his hands to fish hook the inside of Wolfgang's mouth, T-Bone pulls his upper body off the ground and headbutts Wolfgang sending him crashing back onto the ground. With Wolfgang down, it is now T-Bone who takes a moment to taunt as he holds his arms out stretched and declares that he can do this 'All Day Long'. Yet it'd appear the same could be said for Wolfgang because as T-Bone charged at him, Wolfgang managed to drop to the side leaving T-Bone to run into the ring post.
    John: Definitely a mistake on T-Bone's part to begin celebrating there.
    Doug: That's easier said than done in the heat of the moment. I've seen many men make that mistake in the ring.
    Now with T-Bone stunned, Wolfgang begins to fire back on him with punches until T-Bone counters with another headbutt. From here T-Bone drives Wolfgang back first into the ring apron. The referee having been counting both men is at a count of seven as T-Bone rolls Wolfgang into the ring. Sliding under the bottom rope, T-Bone pounches on Wolfgang and mounts him with punches while the referee tries to pull him away. Pushing the referee back, T-Bone begins arguing with the official until he is tackled forcefully by Wolfgang with the blow knocking the referee to the ground. Very much reminiscent of a hockey fight brawl, T-Bone and Wolfgang continue beating the hell out of each other until the referee having lost control of the bout calls for the bell.
    Shepherd: Ladies and Gentleman, the referee has ruled this match a double disqualification!
    The crowd in attendance are not happy with this announcement as there are some boos while in the ring both Wolfgang and T-Bone continue their war. The referee again tries to part them but this time both Wolfgang and T-Bone shove him hard to the ground before wading in yet again. Security and officials soon hit the ring in an effort to stop the madness while loud chants of let them fight echo out. Having got the situation under control, officials manage to force Wolfgang out of the ring while they keep the rabid Tyson T-Bone held in the corner.
    John: I know it's by no means a popular call, but I can definitely understand where the referee was coming from. Neither man was following instruction and sadly this wasn't the kind of stipulation to give them the fight they wanted.
    Doug: Honestly, I'm not happy with it either John. I understand how the referee must maintain order in bouts but at the same time. Just let these two fight. Bring them back out here and tell the referee to take a tea break.
    What follows would be a special edition of a walk through the rose garden as Joanna Rose found herself joined by "The Fashionista" Jinny Couture. As one might expect coming off her loss at the UK Showcase, her attack at the hands of Chakara and of course the disbandment of her House of Couture, Jinny is in a particularly foul mood for this interview. Despite constantly being met with a steely not to mention disdainful glare and her interviewee speaking in a condescending tone, Joanna Rose is upbeat as she looks to make the best of a bad situation.
    Joanna: We are here for the latest edition of a walk through the rose garden and I am of course your host Joanna Rose....
    Before Joanna can continue she is interrupted by Jinny.
    Jinny: Save your little introduction because no one cares about you! They are only watching this interview tonight to see me.
    Taken aback by this outburst, Joanna doesn't look happy but ever the professional she looks to continue.
    Joanna: Right.. I see. OK then Jinny. Let's start this interview with me asking you about what happened at the UK Showcase 4 and the disbaning of the House of Couture. What's your take on what happened.
    Jinny: I'm disappointed. Disappointed that those little girls didn't appreciate what they had by being associated with me! It was called the House of Couture for a reason and that was because everyone who was apart of it, worked for me! They had the privelidge to be apart of something great but because of their ineptitude now that opportunity has passed and they can fade into obscurity on their own.
    Joanna: Those are some harsh words. So just to be clear, you are blaming the defeat in that tag match solely on your partners?
    Jinny: Of course. Who else is there to blame? I more than carried my weight in that match. In fact I carried my entire team. They let me down and frankly, I don't know what I feel more. A disappointment in myself for not realising how pathetic they were sooner or just disgust to them for what they gave up by being as pathetic as they are!
    Joanna doesn't seem to be that impressed with Jinny's answer as she looks at the camera clearly getting a prompt from a producer.
    Joanna: But you was pinned in the match by Millie McKen.....
    Before Joanna can even finish uttering the question, Jinny throws her glass of water right in her face. Standing up from her chair, the livid Jinny then slaps Joanna hard across the face. Upset and hurt from the blow Joanna leaves the set holding her face while Jinny turns to the camera.
    Jinny: All week my phone has been buzzing. Which truth be told isn't abnormal when you are me not that any of you would know what success is. However people are looking for quotes from me about the challenge my former intern Chakara stupidly throughout there. Now normally I'm not one for charity nor am I usually willing to lower myself to such idiot challenges. Yet Chakara, you made a grave mistake putting your hands on me at the UK Showcase. You are nothing but a classless, trashy, stupid little girl and I will enjoy putting you in your place next week! I brought you to the UK Brand and I will happy be the one to kick you out.
    Clearly done with the interview Jinny walks off the set as the camera fades out.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Standing alone backstage Xia Brookside is in the middle of applying the finishing touches to her make up for the night. Still very much in her villainous phase, Xia Brookside's hair has very dark red streaks going through it while her attire very much is punk based. Yet Xia's make up session is soon interupted thanks to the arrival of her former friend Millie McKenzie. Despite being anxious as Millie is close to her, Xia doesn't take long to question Millie's presence.

    Xia: What do you want from me Millie? I don't have time for you.

    McKenzie doesn't look impressed yet as Xia goes to walk away, Millie snatches her by the shouler and spins her round to face her.

    Millie: Oh you have time for this Xia. See we need to clear the air.

    Smirking arrogantly, Xia cannot help but shake her head.

    Xia: We aren't going to be friends again Millie. In case you haven't realised, I'm not the stupid innocent little girl you thought I was. I don't need you or your friendship.

    Millie nods her head before she responds.

    Millie: Oh I know that. I'm not here to be your friend against Xia. I made that mistake once and I won't ever do that again.

    Xia: Then why are you here?

    Millie: I'm here Xia, to put it bluntly to do what you didn't have the guts to do to me. See whatever your gripe was at the time, rather than talk to me about it you instead chose to stab me in the back. You jumped me from behind like a coward. But that's the difference between me and you. See I've come here to tell you, that we aren't done. Not by a long shot! I'm coming for you and I want you to know that!

    Despite her earlier bravado, Xia Brookside seems a little anxious on hearing this. Millie meanwhile breaks into a smirk as she pats her on the shoulder.

    Millie: Be seeing you Xia. Be seeing you real soon!

    With that Millie walks off down the hall leaving the stunned Brookside standing alone.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Doug: Well as the saying goes, you reap what you sow. Xia Brookside will definitely have to face the consequences of her past actions.
    John: As we saw at the UK Showcase, Millie McKenize has upped her game massively. So I hope Xia Brookside is ready for her this time. Speaking of being ready.. Are you ready to see the United Kingdom Championship up for grabs?
    Doug: I am... But honestly John. You and I both know what we are looking at right now and why the crowd in attendance aren't happy either. Let's just head to the ring for this.
    Shepherd: The following contest is set for one fall with a twenty minute time limit and it will be for the United Kingdom Championship! Introducting first the challenger standing in the ring at this time. He hails from Peckham, England. Standing at 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighing in at 185 pounds... Sid Scala!
    The plucky underdog Scala raises his arm up in the air but the crowd is clearly displeased on seeing this as Aichner's handpicked title defense.
    Shepherd: And now introducing the champion. Hailing from South Tyrol, Italy. He stands at 6 feet tall exact and he is weighing in tonight at 220 pounds. He is "The Next Level" Fabian Aichner!
    - Level Up - CFO$ -
    The crowd in attendance boo loudly as Fabian Aichner walks out from the back with his United Kingdom Championship over his shoulder. As he stands atop the stage, Aichner holds the belt high in the air with both hands before walking confidently down to the ring. Once in the ring, Aichner hands the title to the referee in an effort to get this bout started.
    Match Three: Fabian Aichner vs Sid Scala ~ United Kingdom Championship Match
    Despite obviously being a cherry picked opponent for Fabian Aichner, Sid Scala doesn't let the moment intimidate him as he bounds across the ring and fires off a series of rights and lefts on the champion. Having caught the champion off guard, Scala ducks under a clothesline attempt by Aichner before he hits the ropes. Unfortunately this puts him in the line of fire as he runs into a brutal dropkick by Fabian Aichner which puts Scala down in a heap. It's all academic at this point as Aichner claps his hands together before dragging Sid to his feet and driving him into the canvas with the Hasta La Vista for the victory.
    Shepherd: And the winner of the match and still Champion Fabian Aichner!
    The crowd in attendance boos loudly as the announcement is made and Fabian Aichner climbs to his feet in the ring. After being presented with his championship, Fabian Aichner stands tall in the ring while the referee tends to Scala.
    John: I mean, did we honestly expect anything less? That was ridiculous.
    Doug: Aichner did pick his own opponent. I mean we shouldn't have expected anything less I guess. I just hope this isn't a precedent.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    As the cameras fade away from ringside, we are taken towards the corridor of the building where the women's champion Tegan Nox is standing by. Tegan Nox is standing by with Joanna Rose, as the UK Brand's backstage correspondent looks to get word with the champion. Noticeably in this live interview Joanna is sporting a feint black eye which she suffered from that taped interview at the hands of Jinny. Putting a brave face on things, Joanna Rose smiles weakly as she begins to start this interview.

    Joanna: Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome my guest, The UK Women's champion Tegan Nox.

    The live crowd in attendance can be heard cheering loudly which causes Tegan to break out in a big smile.

    Joanna: Firstly, I want to begin by congratulating you on your victory at UK Showcase 4 against Rhea Ripley. How are you feeling after that match?

    Nox: I'm still a little sore I can't lie. I might not like Rhea Ripley or respect her as a person. Yet there is no denying her talents in the ring. She gave me one hell of a fight and it forced me to dig down deeper than I'd had to in a long, long time. I'm just glad now that with this win, that chapter is behind me and I can look towards the future.

    Joanna nods her head in agreement before she asks the next question.

    Joanna: Speaking of the future, I know that it's a few months away. But what are your thoughts on possibly defending your title against Meiko Satomura at the UK Showcase 5?

    Tegan: Honestly, it's hard to explain just how much that match means to me. Meiko Satomura is one of the key reasons I became a wrestler. She's a hero of mine and very much a key source of inspiration. So to be able to step in the ring against her, is a literal dream come true. I want to see how I match up against her.

    Before Joanna can ask another question, both her and Tegan are joined by Kay Lee Ray. Kay Lee Ray stares at the UK Women's Champion dismissively while Joanna in an attempt to break the tension, is quick to ask a question.

    Joanna: What can we do for you Kay Lee Ray?

    Kay Lee Ray glares at Joanna before she smirks.

    KLR: You can't do anything for me. In fact why are you even still here?

    As Joanna skulks off, Kay Lee Ray looks back at Tegan Nox and the two women face off.

    Tegan: So what do you want?

    KLR: I don't know if you saw it, but last week I beat Toni Storm. At the UK Showcase, I beat the House of Couture. So I want my shot at the title.

    Tegan: Just name the place, I've not backed down from a challenge since I won this title. That won't change with you. So come on then, when do you want your shot?

    KLR: I hope you don't think I'm going to be as easy to put down as Rhea Ripley was. I'll name my terms when I see fit. As for now I'll let you keep that belt warm for me.

    Kay Lee Ray then walks off set while the determined champion continues to stare her down.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Replays of the UK Showcase are then played with focus being on the Tag Team Turmoil and more specifically how Aussie Open was eliminated from the match. This of course was thanks to the efforts of Shane Thorne. Once this video package comes to an end, the cameras direct us towards the locker room area where a smug Shane Thorne is standing by having watched the highlights as well. With a proud smirk on his face, Shane Thorne can hear the boos from the crowd before he begins to speak.
    Shane: Ever since the UK Showcase 4, people have wondered just why I came back to the UK Brand and got involved in the turmoil. They've wondered just why I'd come back to cost my former team their shot at the tag gold. Yet those people stupid enough to ask that question are the ones dumb enough to be booing me right now! I mean please tell me how I am the villain in this situation. I am the one who discovered Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher. If it wasn't for me, this little Aussie Open team you all love so much never would have made it to the UK Brand in the first place. So for them to think it's OK to not only turn their back on me but also attack me. Let me tell you something boys. I was never going to let that stand. I was great for you boys. I brought you in and I made you stars. I was a great ally for you thanks to my knowledge and my influence. It's not my fault you just didn't have the goods to win tag team gold! However that didn't stop you two blaming me did it? Yet ask yourselves where you'd really be without me. I mean Mark for example has been doing this for ten years if not longer. Yet only a few months after joining up with me, he was apart of the WWE and competing in one of the UK's greatest wrestling events all because of me. So boys, as you are going to now learn. While I might have been the greatest friend you ever had. I'm also going to be the worst enemy you could ever imagine. See I know now you boys aren't worthy of being the mighty. Because mark my words, you will kneel before me and as you know the mighty don't kneel and they certainly don't get broken!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    John: Wow, just when I didn't think Shane Thorne could get any worse. He's now shown himself to be deluded.

    Doug: I mean he made a couple of key points, such as how he was the one who brought Aussie Open to the UK Brand. At the same time for him to make out that he is the sole reason for their success is ridiculous.

    John: Well anyway, it's now time for our main event of the evening and it will be a street fight as Dakota Kai battles April Davis.

    Doug: This is a highly personal clash between two bad ass women who do not like each other. It's that simple. They are going to do everything they can in order to hurt each other. So let's head to the ring for the introductions.

    Shepherd: It's now time for the main event of the evening and it will be a street fight with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, she hails from Auckland, New Zealand. Standing at 5 foot 5 inches and weighing in at 128 pounds. She is "The Captain of Team Kick" Dakota Kai!

    ~ High Ground ~

    The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as the announcement is made and Dakota Kai walks out onto the stage. Kai is all business as she forgoes her usual entrance and just walks to the ring with a purpose. Once she's in the ring, Kai removes her jacket and waits for her opponent.

    Shepherd: And now introducing her opponent. She hails from Wigan, England. Standing at 5 foot 1 inches tall and weighing in at 145 pounds. She is "The Lancashire Terrier" April Davids.

    ~ Inside of Me - Ashes Remain ~

    There are boos from the crowd as the announcement is made and the leader of the Female Fight Factory, April Davids walks out from the back. Storming down to the ring, April is clearly looking to get this match started and once she slides under the ropes the bell is rung to get this match started.

    Main Event: April Davids vs Dakota Kai ~ Street Fight

    The literal second the bell rings, these two women are one each other looking to do damage. With the crowd firmly behind her in their support Dakota Kai looks to be doing better in the early goings as she begins to land some vicious kicks on April Davids. This is until April Davids is able to catch Kai by the leg on one of her many kick attempts before she performs a nasty dragon screw leg whip. The crowd in attendance boos on seeing this as it allows April Davids back in the match and very much a chance for her to deal out some damage of her own on her rival.

    John: What a nasty move there by April Davids.

    Doug: That was a wise tactic by April. She is targeting a known weakness of Kai in her knee.

    Like a shark smelling blood in the water, April Davids immediately begins to target the left leg of Kai while the crowd do their best to rally round the plucky new zealand native. Despite this April is able to keep her grounded until Kai manages to roll out of the way of an elbow drop attempt. Climbing to her feet, Kai gingerly steps forward while Davids gets to her feet. April charges at Kai going right for her legs when in a shocking moment Kai raises her knee up and lands a pin point knee strike to the top of April Davids' head. This staggered Davids badly and as she backed up, she'd fall through the ropes and out to the floor.

    John: OH MY GOODNESS! How is April Davids not knocked out.

    Doug: A knee like that is bad enough on it's own. But Davids dropped down into it. I'd be surprised if she hasn't broke her jaw even.

    With April Davids reeling Dakota Kai took a moment to regroup and get some feeling back in her leg while April staggered to her feet. Once the dazed April is up to her feet, she is wiped out with a big suicide dive by Dakota Kai to a pop from the crowd! Keeping up her offense, Kai pummels the downed Davids with a series of punches before she climbs to her feet. Kai lets out an impassioned roar before charging at April only for April to counter with a well timed hip toss throwing Kai against the steel ring steps with force. Kai's screams in pain echo out while Davids begins reaching under the ring for some weapons.

    John: A nasty landing there for Dakota Kai, and if I'm not mistaken she might have caught the back of her knee on the ring steps.

    Doug: Davids knows where she has her at her weakest. This is smart on her part.

    After she slides a table into the ring, April Davids also tosses a kendo stick into the ring before she snatches a steel chair. Stalking Dakota Kai as she gingerly climbs to her feet, Davids blasts her across the back with a steel chair. With Dakota Kai falling to her knees, April throws the chair in the ring before she lifts up Kai and plants her with an exploder suplex on the outside of the ring. Kai writhes in agony on the floor before April drags her to her feet and throws her in the ring. Sliding into the ring, April then follows up by making a cover but much to her annoyance Kai kicks out at a count of two.

    John: Very surprised to see Kai kick out there. You have to wonder just how much she can take.

    Doug: If we know one thing about Dakota she has the heart of a lion. It'll take April a lot more to keep her down.

    Dragging Kai to her feet by her hair, Davids clobbers her with a forearm strike which backs her into the corner. But as she charges at her, April is met with a well timed kick to the jaw. Rallying back Dakota Kai has Davids stunned following a rolling kick before she grabs for the kendo stick. Looking to return the favor from the earlier chair shot, Dakota batters her with the kendo stick across the back until Davids ends up in the turnbuckle. A big running kick to the jaw by Kai then follows on Davids before Kai begins to set up the table in the ring.

    John: My word, Dakota Kai seems to be making a comeback. She has to be running on adrenaline right now.

    Doug: It wouldn't surprise me John. All I know is April is in for a fight now. Let's see what she has in her.

    Yet as she does this both Killer Kelly and Laura Di Matteo hit the ring. The crowd erupts into boos as the numbers game quickly begins to overwhelm Dakota Kai. While Di Matteo puts the boots to Dakota Kai, Killer Kelly helps April Davids to her feet. Barking orders, April has Kelly and Laura set up Dakota on the turnbuckle as she prepares to put her through the table. Yet as she begins to head up to the turnbuckle as well both Charlie Morgan and Kasey Owens hit the ring. Owens quickly launches herself at Kelly and the two tumble over the ropes while Charlie ducks a cane shot by Laura and hits her with a superkick.

    Doug: We knew this contest would be a fight but I didn't expect it to be reminsicent of west side story.

    John: The Female Fight Factory has had a reign of terror over the UK Brand. But now it definitely appears they've more than met their match in Kai, Owens and Morgan.

    With Laura dazed, Charlie hits April Davids across the back with the cane. This allows Dakota Kai to shove April off of the top rope and she lands across the side of the ring apron hard. Still in possession of the cane, Charlie Morgan begins to batter Laura Di Matteo with it as she chases her up the ramp while Kasey Owens and Killer Kelly disappear into the crowd. This leaves only Kai and Davids and Kai is able to climb out onto the apron while a badly winded April staggers to her feet. Once April is up, Kai connects with the Kai-Ropractor across the ring Apron!

    John: Honestly if I was the referee, I'd consider stopping this right now.

    Doug: Dakota Kai just went for broke there and in the process she just broke herself and April Davids. I don't see either woman being OK following that landing.

    The crowd are in shock as both women are down. Kai is laid across the apron while Davids is motionless on the floor. Slowly using the ropes for support, Dakota Kai is able to sit up to loud pop from the crowd. Climbing off the apron Dakota lifts up Davids and dumps her in the ring. The referee crouches beside Davids in an effort to check on her status while Kai rolls into the ring. Once she's in the ring Kai sees that Davids is still down and contemplates going for the cover. Yet she then spots the table and lifts up April before setting her up on it. From here Kai scales the turnbuckle before she puts Davids through it with a double stomp! The crowd are on their feet as Kai drapes an arm across April's chest. 1...2...3!

    Shepherd: And the winner of the match Dakota Kai!

    The crowd are on their feet as the announcement is made and Dakota Kai with the help from the referee is able to make her way to her feet. Once she is up Kai falls back against the ropes while the crowd continue to cheer for her. While Kai looks to recover against the ropes, medics rush down to the ring and check on the fallen April Davids. Meanwhile two medics walk over to Kai and they begin to help her make her way backstage. Yet as she nears the ramp, Kai pulls herself away wanting to walk out on her own and she raises her arm in the air to a huge pop as the show comes to a close.

    John: What a match! The brutality on display was shocking.

    Doug: Without a doubt, it was nasty. Those women beat the hell out of one another.

    John: Take nothing away from April though, she gave her all in this match as well.

    Doug: I feel like her mistake in this bout was she lost focus on what was working. Davids is a technical savage who is at her best when she isolates a body part. She was having success working on Kai's knee. But then her emotions took over in the moment and she looked to punish Kai instead of stick to her strategy. That in my opinion cost her.

    John: Well sadly that is all we have time for tonight. But don't worry ladies and gentleman, we will be back again next week for more UK Brand action.
