IMO it's super team for the wrong reasons. Durant couldn't beat the Warriors, so he gave up trying and wounded up joining them to make himself feel good. That shows the lameness of how the NBA is nowadays. The Warriors have no weaknesses when all their starters are red hot.

The Warriors have got this series wrapped up, being up 3-0 to the Cavs. There's absolutely no way the Cavs can make a comeback being 0-3, which NBA teams are 0-13 in the NBA Finals because the Warriors have done enough to know how to shutdown the Cavs at this point. Plus, Durant was a beast last night dropping 43 points!

Yeah this Series is done, I would of thought the Cavs would of won last night they were playing so well, but Durant went ham on the Cavs like no other. I fear they might get swept next game just cause feeling the effects of last night's loss hitting harder then they expected. I like to see these ratings for the NBA Finals because it's been a struggle to watch these games after the Warriors took leads and pretty much held it.

I think Lebron is too much a competitor to want to join them in my opinion. I think he'll want to stay in the East, then try to go the West where it's harder to get to the finals.

I mean, it's not like he hasn't bailed on Cavs for a far superior and more stacked team in the past.

I may be bias, but I still think Spurs is one of the few teams that has a decent shot at a ring besides Cavs/GSW.

Re: 2017-18 NBA Regular Season Discussion

It was very obvious to see the Warriors win their third title in four seasons against the Cavs. It was a boring NBA Finals that people don't watch, but I have to congratulate the Warriors on tying the Chicago Bulls with their sixth overall championship.

It was revealed that after Game 1 of the Finals, LeBron injured his right shooting hand by punching a whiteboard in frustration. I guess he thinks the whiteboard was JR Smith, cause Smith really fucked up in that first game.

Re: 2017-18 NBA Regular Season Discussion

GSW was already an incredible team before they added Kevin Durant. Now, it's honestly made the NBA virtually unwatchable for me, to be honest. Between the Super-Team trend ramping into overdrive (it happened well before LeBron headed to Miami, but now it's just getting on steroids, it seems), and watching the Warriors' showboating antics and constant whining at foul calls (LeBron at non-foul calls as well) it's just not interesting to watch anymore. It was obvious from the start of the season who was going to meet in the NBA Finals and while there were people who wanted to believe Houston or Boston had a shot, deep down, everyone knew those two teams would find a way to pull it out. After that, it was pretty clear Cleveland was out-matched. I don't see how this is good for basketball. When your entire fan base can almost guarantee, barring injuries, your Finals matchup at the start of the regular season, it can't be good.

Next year, honestly will be no different. It'll GSW vs. -Insert whatever team LeBron joins-. Or, if he does go West, then it'll be GSW vs. LeBron in the WCF then Boston in the Finals, where the Celtics will be outmatched as well.

I'm interested if the small push for a hard cap grows in the coming years.
