I can't believe Nick Folk's that bad. He just missed a 31 yard field goal after missing one earlier.

It's distressing how much better this game would be right now if Tampa Bay could kick a fucking field goal.

Happy my Eagles are now 4-1, but let's see how they do with the new two games with the Panthers and Redskins. Wentz destroyed a Cardinals Defense I thought would of played better, but they got carved up today.

I’ve been saying the Eagles were underrated for a couple of weeks but it’s hard to gauge how good they are since Arizona is just ahead of the Browns for worst team in the league honours.

Panthers vs Eagles is a huge game for both teams. The winner will probably be the NFC #1 at this point and the loser has a lot more questions going forward. Love how salty Cam haters still are after that performance today. ALSO THIS IS THE ED DICKSON UNIVERSE WE ARE LIVING IN RIGHT NOW. DON'T SLEEP ON THE MAN.

Was really shocked Big Ben made that comment about "maybe I don't have it anymore". And I know it's a horrible loss and game and we know it's true but to say it publicly is just a morale killer. Awful leadership.

Then again at least Kizer isn't on Pittsburgh, that would probably be worse. He's as bad as Johnny Football.

That OBJ injury was brutal. Well Giants can tank now and draft a QB so the Eli era can be over.

Yeah I look forward it no doubt and I saw Christian McCaffrey got his first TD today? How is he doing with the team so far Zero, is it the Offensive Line that is not giving him space or what?

He's doing great for what he's asked to do. They just give most of the carries to J-Stew right now, but for a guy who has been the one teams have game planned specifically to take out the most he's done all he can, his greatest value has been as a decoy. Back to back weeks opponents fear of CMC has setup huge plays to Fozzy last week & Dickson & Funch today. When he touches it he's proven dangerous though. Just a matter of time before he pops off. (Also wish Shula on the few touches he does get would put him in space more & not up the gut so much but being Shula he's an idiot)

EDIT: Also we've played with big leads often so in Shula's world that means shut the water off & stop trying.

The Titans fucking suck. Is there anybody, not named Mariota, on the that can make a difference? No. The Titans need him back for next week's game. They can't afford to lose to the Colts at Nissan Stadium.

    Rodgers is definitely the GOAT.

Was glad to see Adams back, even if it played a roll in my Boys loss. No shame losing to Rodgers in a close one.

But I have to bash our coaching for giving Rodgers that much time, yet again.

And our defense just quit in the second half....Again.

Dak looked very good, and our offense is fine, but man...That defense.
Time stood still, and it shared with me all that had been, and all that was to come.

Re: 2017 NFL Season Thread - Week 5: Salty Tom Brady Memes Welcome

    So many news happening:

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will miss the rest of the 2017 season after he suffered a leg fracture during Sunday's game, coach Bill O'Brien said Monday.
That's a huge loss for the Texans defense. In the 2018 NFL Draft, if I were the Texans, I would draft a good defensive end late in the draft to back him up. Watt can't seem to stay healthy.

DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins offensive line coach Chris Foerster resigned Monday after a video that surfaced on social media of him snorting a white powder.

Foerster said in a statement that he will seek professional help.

"I am resigning from my position with the Miami Dolphins and accept full responsibility for my actions," Foerster said. "I want to apologize to the organization and my sole focus is on getting the help that I need with the support of my family and medical professionals."
What a dumbass decision by this guy. Why, why why why did this guy have somebody recording him snorting cocaine, knowing that it will be exposed to the media and cost him his job? Bye Felicia!

Y.A. Tittle, who played quarterback for 17 professional seasons, has died at the age of 90, according to the LSU football team.

LSU deputy athletic director Verge Ausberry told the New Orleans Advocate that Tittle died Sunday night surrounded by his family.

Tittle made the Pro Bowl seven times while playing for the Baltimore Colts, San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants from 1948 to 1964.

The Associated Press' 1963 NFL MVP, he is one of eight players -- a list that includes Peyton Manning and Drew Brees -- to throw for seven touchdowns in a game.

Tittle, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971, played his college football at LSU, where he was a two-time all-SEC honoree.
It sucks that the three teams he was in, never won a championship with him. The seven touchdowns a game is a taxing accomplishment that eight quarterbacks have done, he's one of them.

    RIP Tittle.
