How did White Castle of Fear get one vote? So incredibly cheesetastic and screams early 90's. What a fucking epic segment. Hall of Fame bad acting from all parties involved.

    MexAmerica tanked real fucking hard.

Friendly reminder that Cena's highly regarded US Title reign ended clean in 8 minutes to ADR and then followed up with the MexAmerica story...

Ha, how quickly we forget that it was actually his second go around as the champ that year after dropping it to Seth Rollins while putting over Jon Stewart at SummerSlam.

Now that I think about it, I totally should have voted for Jon Stewart.

Jon Stewart and MexAmerica put over the likes of Owens, Rusev, Neville, Zayn, etc.

    7 points a piece.

    Black Reign

    Ed (19)

A bad chapter of an otherwise great career for Dustin Rhodes. Out of shape and battling addiction, Dustin had another run in TNA, this time under the horrible Black Reign gimmick that not only sucked for Rhodes, but sucked for guys like Chris Harris who had to work with him and be dragged down to his level. It was like a short lived Bray Wyatt run. It did give us the unforgettable Silent Night, Bloody Night match though.

    Kane Unmasks
    CaptainC (19)

Oh look at that, he's not burnt after all #kayfabedead. As a kid I remember this angle being a huge deal and I hated that he went crazy and turned on RVD (loved that team).

    Evening Gown Match
    Fuji Vice (19)

Nothing says hardcore wrestling quite like Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson fighting over the WWF Hardcore title in drag.

I'd argue that Black Reign isn't Dustin's lowest point, but it is very, very low.

With his career, it's easier to just name the couple of great time periods he had instead of all of the numerous awful periods.

I think it's probably his lowest point. His WCW "I'm not a gimmick anymore" gimmick in 1999-2000 was bad, TAFKA Goldust was extremely weird, but Black Reign was not only terrible writing in stupid storylines, but he was also really sad to watch.

I disagree with Jim about Dustin's career - it's probably 50/50. His early WCW run was great, original Goldust was revolutionary even if the matches were shite, his 2002 was amazing, his 2013-present run has been great.

I'd work it out as being something like:

WWE (1990-1991) - Just an average rookie. Wasn't pushed, so it was fine.

WCW (1991) - Overpushed and generally pretty fucking awful although that Clash tag match is amazing.

WCW (1992) - Benefited from working in tag matches, but generally maybe Dustin's best single year.

WCW (1993) - Not ready to be pushed hard as a singles star and his work showed that.

WCW (1994-1995) - Finally starting to be a good little singles wrestler. A good time period.

WWE (1995-1997) - Fucking atrocious. Probably the worst worker in those years, which is really saying something.

WWE (TAFKA Goldust 1998) - I loved this gimmick and the period was pretty decent.

WWE (1998-1999) - Back to being unremarkable, but luckily not as bad as he was in 1995-1997.

WCW (1999-2001) - Pretty inconsistent. At times entertaining, other times poor.

WWE (2002) - One of his strongest years with a good balance of character work and in ring quality.

    WWE (2003) - Unremarkable.

TNA (2004-2005) - One of the many men TNA pushed solely because they were from the WWE. I doubt Dustin gave a shit about wrestling at this point.

WWE (2006) - One of Goldust's least impressive runs.

    TNA (2007-2008) - Dustin's bigger TNA failure.

WWE (2008-2012) - Not pushed, but I seem to remember Goldust was okay for someone who is kept on Superstars.

WWE (2013-present) - His original partnership with Cody was maybe Dustin's best workrate. Since the partnership ended, it seems as if Dustin is back to being a nobody. Not a great judge of this period though.

I have no idea what I'm watching here. Did Sting and Vader make a porno together? Because from the set, the music and the extras that's the only explaination for what that was.

Re: WC's Greatest Wrestlecrap Moments Countdown

Lets get this back on track after a week off.

    Kane Vs Fake Kane

    CaptainC (18)

It's another entry for Mr. Wrestlecrap Glen Jacobs, and actually his 2nd entry on the list that involves him and someone else stealing a gimmick. Before he was a good brother in the Bullet Club, or Punk's lackey in SES or even Festus; Luke Gallows' first on screen role in WWE was imitating the original Kane from the attitude era to feud with maskless Kane.

    Hornswoggle is Vince's Lovechild
    Fuji Vice (18)

After they dropped the who tried to kill Vince storyline after a week, WWE creative went down a different route of Vince being hit with a paternity suit. It turned Raw into an episode of scooby doo as the audience would get clues as to who the secret bastard son of Vince was. Hornswoggle being revealed as Vince's son is a perfect example of WWE's brand of comedy.

    Bastion Booger
    Kintaro (18)

I think Kintaro is nominating the gimmick itself here of a slovenly and glutenous wrestler, unless there's a specific angle I'm not aware of.

Judy Bagwell on a Forklift Match
    Captain C (22) Fuji Vice (22)

because I can't top this review, here is what Jim had to say about this match:

    Quote Originally Posted by Jim

They fixed this issue by having Kanyon drive a forklift out to the ring with Judy strapped to it. So now there's zero gimmick and instead the winner of the match just gets Momma Bagwell. Why Kanyon would want Buff's mommy as his personal valet? I have no idea. Furthermore, why would you make a babyface like Buff out to be such a momma's boy? That's not likable. The match is going along fine enough, I suppose, until the Messiah of Wrestling himself, David Arquette, makes his return to WCW. Arquette, who hasn't been seen since Slamboree, is such a random appearance and I can't understand the purpose of it all. Is Buff supposed to look better by having to overcome a two-on-one battle? If so, that certainly didn't work. In the end, Buff botches a double Buff Blockbuster to Arquette and Kanyon to win the match and his mother back. With that, Buff is less of a star. What was Russo even hoping to accomplish with this? The sad part is you can't even truly argue that this is one of the top 5 most stupid things Russo did in 2000. If sucks, don't get me wrong, but it's not even the worst thing Russo did on this show.

I honestly can’t believe only two of us voted for Judy Bagwell but Jim’s review more than makes up for it.

    9 pointers:

    Adam Rose Vs The Bunny
    The Gipper (17)

This takes me back. One of my most hated wrestlers of all time, Adam Rose, the Russell Brand wannabe engaging in a D-List angle with one of his rosebuds that was starting to take the spotlight away from him. A fucking bunny.

    The Yeti
    CaptainC (17)

The Adam Rose stuff was bad because it was on every fucking show. It was on Raw. It was on Smackdown. It was on Main Event. They found a way to shoehorn it on every PPV. It was real bad.

Remember Evil Bunny on Main Event?

The best part about the Yeti is that he magically transformed into being a ninja at World War 3.

Meanwhile, a yeti is neither a mummy nor a ninja. It's the Abominable Snowman, a wintery based bigfoot.

Yeah but then they called him The Super Giant Ninja, which might be my favorite ring name of all time.

And then BECAUSE WCW, they reverted back to calling him The Yeti for his third and final match after being Super Giant Ninja for one match.
