    NXT Preview....

    NXT Episode 1 Preview
    August 23, 2017
    Brooklyn, New York

Four days removed from Takeover Brooklyn III, the superstars of NXT return to The Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York for another exciting night of action.

    An Opportunity Stolen
Just when it seemed like number one contender Drew McIntyre had the NXT Championship in his hands, he was brutally assaulted by SAnitY. All three members of SAnitY used the fact that NXT Champion Bobby Roode had "accidentally" taken out the referee to cost McIntyre the opportunity of a lifetime, but the question is why? Drew McIntyre is confirmed to still be in Brooklyn and you can pretty much guarantee that he will be looking for answers.

    A Shake-up Is Coming
Vince McMahon made a surprise appearance the night after Summerslam announcing that next week, for the second time this year, there will be a Superstar Shake-up. Though, unlike the shake-up that took place earlier this year, superstars from NXT will also be eligible to be drafted to Raw and Smackdown. How will the announcement that no NXT superstar is safe from the shake-up impact NXT General Manager William Regal?

    One Last Time
Peyton Royce and Billie Kay can't stand Ruby Riot. Ask them, they will tell you. Following a loss in six woman tag team match at Takeover Brooklyn III, Royce and Kay decided they needed to end it once and for all. Peyton Royce has challenged Ruby Riot to a final encounter no disqualification match to take place this week on NXT. Peyton says it will be one on one, but wherever she is, Billie Kay isn't far behind.

    Homecoming
Former NXT Tag Team Champion Wesley Blake has been having great success on the NXT Live Tour with new tag team partner Steve Cutler. They arrive live in Brooklyn for tag team action this Wednesday.

ALL THIS AND MORE WHEN NXT COMES TO US FROM BROOKLYN NEW YORK, THIS WEDNESDAY, ON THE WWE NETWORK.

    WWE NXT NXT Episode 1

    NXT
    August 23rd 2017
    #BrooklynBrawl

NXT Takeover Brooklyn III is done. Championships retained, rivalries ended. Quick clips from the event were shown as Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGinness and Percy Watson welcomed us back to Brooklyn for a special edition of NXT. They hyped the fact that following the 6 woman tag team match at Takeover, Peyton Royce challenged Ruby Riot to a no disqualification match for here tonight and the challenge was accepted.

With the main event set, it was time for the opening contest. Tag Team action. Former Tag Team Champion Wesley Blake has found success on the NXT Live shows with new partner Steve Cutler, and he looked to continue that success here as they took on Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic). Both teams had a lot to prove as neither one is featured heavily on NXT programming, but in the end it took a inverted ddt from Cutler and a frog splash from Blake to keep Otis down for the 3 count and secure the victory for the self proclaimed 'Rough Brothers".

As the Rough Brothers made their way up the ramp celebrating, they were interviewed by Cathy Kelley who congratulated them but also asked if they feel they as a tag team have what it takes to conquer the tag team division and win the gold? With both men confident as ever, Blake made sure everyone knew he has been NXT Tag Team Champion before, and it will happen again.

Highlights of the NXT Tag Team Championship match from Takeover between The Authors Of Pain and SAnitY was shown. A back and forth match came to an end Paul Ellering getting involved then being cornered by all 3 members of SAnitY. Ellering defended himself and swung at Eric Young, who ducked, and Ellering wound up hitting Alexander Wolfe causing a disqualification win for SAnitY. Both teams brawled even after the match had ended, with the Authors Of Pain getting the upper hand causing SAnitY to retreat up the ramp.

Paul Ellering was walking through the backstage area when Cathy Kelley caught up with him. She asked about Saturday night, and how The Authors Of Pain felt about their loss. Ellering stated there was no loss, just cowards attacking a man three on one causing him to defend himself. He let everyone know loud and clear, it wasnt over, and when The Authors Of Pain arrive next week, there will be hell to pay.

Ruby Riot was warming up backstage as Liv Morgan and Aliyah were still celebrating the win at Takeover. The Iconic Duo, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, approached. They said if Ruby had any guts at all, she would face Peyton one on one. Ruby said she was fine with it, but if Billie decided to get involved, she was going to be delt with just as bad as Peyton is in the match.

Highlights from Takeover of the NXT Women's Championship match between Asuka and Ember Moon were shown. A highly entertaining match, well deserving of the main event slot. Ember, flustered after Asuka kicked out of an "Eclipse", went to the top rope for another, miscalculated and wound up trapped in the "Asuka Lock" and forced to tap out. We are then shown a backstage interview from after the match, a heartbroken Ember Moon is asked following her loss at Takeover Orlando, missing out on Takeover Chicago, and now coming up short at Takeover Brooklyn, what's next? Ember stayed silent for what seemed like forever, then looked up and said she doesn't know, then walked away.

NXT General Managed William Regal paced back and forth in his office, Triple H's voice coming from a speaker. They argued about the upcoming Supertar Shake-up. Regal argued that he wasn't prepared to lose any more of his superstars at this point, Triple H agreed. Triple H then informed Regal that he has a plan for the Shake-up, and he already told both Raw GM Kurt Angle, and Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan that for every superstar they call up from NXT, they must send one of their own superstars to NXT. Regal seemed shocked, and happy all at the same time.

Former number one contender Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring. Fury flowed through him as he said he had the match at Takeover won, he had the title in his hands, he then demanded Eric Young, and SAnitY come out and explain costing him the NXT Championship against Bobby Roode. SAnitY came out and Eric Young laughed as he told McIntyre he just isn't good enough to be champion. Young said that next on his list of things to do here in NXT is to claim the NXT Championship for himself, and McIntyre is not a worthy opponent. McIntyre seemed to not like the reasoning as he dove from the ring and tried to take on SAnitY all by himself, and he did a pretty good job, but the numbers caught up with him. SAnitY dragged McIntyre back to the ring and delivered a brutal beatdown before leaving the ring as EMTs rushed to check on McIntyre.

The main event. The final encounter.
Ruby Riot and Peyton Royce. No disqualification. A grueling match as neither woman wanted to lose this bitter rivalry. Fans were heavily with Riot, which only seemed to intensify as she took the early advantage. The one on one aspect didn't last long, when Ruby went to grab a weapon she was blasted in the face with a kendo stick as Billie Kay emerged from under the ring. After a two on one beatdown started Liv Morgan emerged from the backstage area to even the odds. All four women brawled but the match came to and end when Morgan and Kay were battling on the outside and Riot hit Royce with the "Pele Kick" for the win. Riot and Morgan celebrated as the Brooklyn crowd cheered and the night came to a close.

    NXT Preview....

    NXT Episode 2 Preview
    August 30, 2017
    Orlando, Florida

The Superstar Shake-up that took place this week on WWE Monday Night Raw saw many superstars switch brands, but possibly none more shocking than the undefeated NXT Women's Champion Asuka being sent to Raw!

    Roster Shake-up
The Superstar Shake-up dealt a devastating blow to NXT when NXT Women's Champion Asuka was sent to Raw but she wasn't the only one. A total of 7 superstars from NXT were sent to the main roster this week. Asuka, Hideo Itami and No Way Jose were sent to Raw. Whereas Ember Moon, Andrade Almas, and The Iconic Duo Billie Kay and Peyton Royce all went to Smackdown. But, as per Triple H's ruling for every superstar taken from NXT, one superstar must be down. So that means 7 superstars from Raw and Smackdown will be debuting on NXT in the coming weeks, the question is who?

    The Authors Return
NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain return after suffering the disqualification loss at Takeover Brooklyn III to SAnitY.

    An Absent Champion
With NXT Women's Champion Asuka now a Monday Night Raw superstar, what is the next step for the NXT women's division?

    Ready, Willing, and Gable
One half of the former Smackdown Live and NXT Tag Team Champions, Chad Gable, makes his return to NXT as the first revealed superstar NXT received in the Shake-up. He will compete in one on one action in NXT for the first time in over a year.

All this and much more as NXT returns to Full Sail University this Wednesday, only on the WWE Network.

*Was going to wait till Sunday to post this, but I figured with NXT Takeover Brooklyn III happening today I might as well get in the spirit. Roster info also updated today!! Feedback always welcome. Episode 2 shall be posted soon.

    WWE NXT NXT Episode 2

    NXT
    August 30th 2017

    #sixmaninSAnitY

NXT was going to be the sight of an all out war if the opening segment was any indication. Before Percy Watson, Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGinniss could welcome us to the show, SAnitY made their way to the ring for their Takeover Brooklyn III rematch. Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young and Killian Dain paced the ring in anticipation of the returning NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain. They didn't have to wait long, as Akam and Rezar, accompanied by Paul Ellering, made their way out from the backstage area onto the stage. Before they made it to the ring though, Drew McIntyre came through the crowd, slid into the ring and led a one man assault on SAnitY!! It didn't take long for the numbers game to catch up to McIntyre for the second straight week, but unlike last week, The Authors Of Pain rushed the ring and helped him fight off Young, Wolfe and Dain.

Highlights from NXT Women's Champions Asuka Monday Night Raw debut was shown. As Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss bragged about being the best wrestler in any women's division she issued an open challenge. Accepting her challenge? The first superstar brought to Raw in the Superstar Shake-up, Asuka. Alexa did what she could as she attempted to fight off the undefeated NXT Women's Champion, but in the end Asuka locked in the "Asuka Lock" for the win. The footage ends with Asuka now NXT and Raw Women's Champion.

The first superstar announced to have been brought to NXT in the Superstar Shake-up, Chad Gable, looked to make an impact in his return to the brand where he got his start. He took on The Velveteen Dream in a faced paced match that showcased both men extremely well. It looked like Velveteen Dream may get the win as he took to the top rope for "The Purple RainMaker" but he took to long and missed, giving Gable the opportunity to lock in the "Ankle Lock" picking up the win by submission.

Chad Gable celebrated his return as Kayla Braxton made her way into the ring for a post match interview. She asked Gable how he felt about being sent back to NXT. Gable said at first it stung. He was a part of a dominate tag team but when the whole Kurt Angle thing happened Jason Jordan dropped him without question. Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon preach about "The land of opportunity" but when Jason Jordan left, they didn't see a future with Gable as a singles superstar. Chad Gable smiled and closed the interview by saying that he will prove all the doubters wrong, he's going to make all the fans proud, he will be better than anyone ever though he could ever be as a singles competitor because he is "Ready, willing, and Gable".

NXT General Manager William Regal came to the stage, wished everyone in the arena well, and announced that next week, when NXT Champion Bobby Roode returns, they will begin a number one contenders tournament to find Roode's next opponent. But that's next week. He announced that this week the main event would be a six man tag team match and it would see SAnitY taking on Drew McIntyre and the NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain!!

The second match of the night saw the former MMA fighter Sonya Deville taking on Aliyah. Aliyah tried as hard as she could, but it only took a few hard strikes from Deville to knock Aliyah out cold and pick up the win. Liv Morgan ran out to check on her friend Aliyah as Deville arrogantly walked up the stage to the backstage area.

Highlights from Ember Moon's debut on Smackdown Live! were shown. She appeared as one of the new superstars sent to Smackdown in the Superstar Shake-up and fought Money In The Bank winner Carmella in a winning effort to show that she was there to stay.

Cathy Kelley was backstage with Drew McIntyre. She asked how he felt about having to team with The Authors Of Pain? McIntyre said it didn't matter who he was teamed with, he has unfinished business with Eric Young and nothing will stop him from finishing it.

A black screen appeared on the titantron. It lasted a few seconds before a light appeared, illuminating a figure in the distance. Too far to make out any distinguishing features, a familiar voice rang out...MY NAME IS ENZO AMORE....the screen went black again, and the words soon appeared. The crowd went wild and started singing his name.

Then it was time for the main event of the evening, a six man tag with a lot of scores to settle. The match was an even one, and it lasted a lot longer then anyone could have predicted before descending into all out chaos. The Authors Of Pain battled Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain on the outside in a violent brawl, leaving Eric Young and Drew McIntyre to try and settle their issues. McIntyre was setting up for a "Claymore" when Nikki Cross appeared and caused just enough distraction for Young to get a rollup for the win.

Eric Young and Nikki escaped the ring and made their way quickly up the stage with Wolfe and Dain as The Authors and McIntyre argued over the loss in the ring. As the show ended, McIntyre pointed at Young and shouted that their things were far from over...

*Enzo Amore and Chad Gable officially added to the roster post.

    NXT Preview.....

    NXT Episode 3 Preview
    September 6, 2017
    Orlando, Florida

The "glorious era" of NXT continues as the NXT Champion Bobby Roode returns for the first time since his successful title defense against Drew McIntyre at Takeover Brooklyn III as the number one contender tournament kicks off.

    Glorious
Since Bobby Roode defeated Shinsuke Nakamura on January 28th 2017 at Takeover San Antonio, he has ruled NXT. Since that day he has retained the championship against some of the best : Kassius Ohno, Hideo Itami, Roderick Strong and most recently, Drew McIntyre. Bobby Roode returns for the first time since his match at Takeover Brooklyn III, how will the leader of the "glorious era" of NXT react to the news that he will face the winner of NXT GM Wlliam Regal's number one contenders tournament?

    Quest For The Gold
Last week, NXT GM William Regal announced that a number one contenders tournament will take place starting this week to crown the next opponent for NXT Champion Bobby Roode. In an exclusive interview on the WWE Network, Regal announced the specifics of the tournament. 4 matches will take place, the winners of those 4 matches will then compete in a fatal four way match to crown the new number one contender.

    Bruiserweight
The United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne has competed all over the world. This Wednesday he returns to NXT to compete against 205 Live's Jack Gallagher looking to show his dominance as champion.

All this and more when NXT returns to Full Sail University this Wednesday, only on the WWE Network.

    WWE NXT NXT Episode 3

    NXT
    September 6th 2017
    #AGloriousReturn

NXT GM William Regal's announcement last week that there would be a tournament to crown a new number one contender was still very fresh in everyone's mind when NXT rolled back into Full Sail University this week. The show started with f
ootage from earlier in the day, Johnny Gargano entered William Regal's office. Regal smiled and said Gargano went through so much this year, and it hasn't gone unnoticed. He said Gargano will be the first person to compete in the number one contender tournament. Gargano told Regal he appreciates it, and he wont disappoint Regal or his fans, he will be the next NXT Champion.

After a brief rundown of the Mae Young Classic finale for next Tuesday, it was time for the opening contest. One of the stars of the WWE Network show Breaking Ground, Tino Sabbatelli, and his partner Riddick Moss taking on "The Fallen Ones" Gabriel and Uriel Ealy. The Ealys have had one hell of a mean streak at the NXT Live shows since joining forces with former NFL offensive tackle turned NXT superstar Brennan Williams, and this would be no different as he accompanied them to the ring. The twins isolated Moss on their side of the match for the better part of the match, using quick tags and brute force to enforce their will and show off this new side of themselves. The end came shortly after Moss finally got the tag to bring in his partner Sabbatelli, but it was to no avail. Sabbatelli got things rolling of a bit, taking it to the Ealys but they hit him with a powerslam, diving splash combo for the win.

William Regal stood next to Emma and Dana Brooke, the next 2 superstars sent to NXT in the Superstar Shake-up. Regal said he is very excited to have Emma and Brooke back in NXT, and he will indeed, Give Emma a chance. He said he knows Emma never held the NXT Women's Championship, but he will make sure that she, and Dana Brooke both get their fair shot at the gold. Ruby Riot walked by and heard that, a fury flew from her quickly. She looked and Emma, and said she is also excited to see Emma, or is it Emmalina, or is it professional jobber? She told Emma that the line for number one contender starts behind her, Emma and Dana had heard enough and begin a two on one assault. Regal pulled Ruby out of the chaos and told her she knows better, especially when she has a match tonight.

The second match of the night saw the dominant United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, taking on the always entertaining 205 Live superstar Jack Gallagher. A back and forth contest, worthy of a Takeover special saw Dunne get the win over fellow his fellow UK competitor with his finisher "The bitter end" proving once again why he is the United Kingdom Champion. As Dunne celebrated his victory, former champion Tyler Bate came out on the stage and the two shared a tension filled stare down.

NXT General Manager William Regal sat in his office, he had Raw GM Kurt Angle on speaker. He told Angle that Asuka is dodging his phone calls. He needs the NXT Women's Championship back, either that or she can come back to NXT and compete. Angle said there's no chance of that happening, she is a Raw superstar and his Raw Women's Champion. Angle said he will figure it out and get back to Regal. Angle hung up the phone before Regal could say anything else.

The third match of the night saw Ruby Riot taking on former Total Divas star, "The Golden Goddess" Mandy Rose. Ruby seemed to be getting the upper hand, but before she got the pinfall, she was attacked from behind by Emma and Dana Brooke causing a DQ victory. Mandy joined in on the attack and the 3 of them proceeded to beat the hell out of the "punk rock ragdoll" until Emma locked in the "Emma lock" as Ruby screamed out in pain and was forced to tap. Liv Morgan made it to the ring finally and the 3 women took their leave as Liv tried to help Ruby to her feet. Ruby finally got to her feet just as Emma, Dana and Mandy hit the ring again and took out proceeded to take out both Ruby and Liv.

The NXT Champion Bobby Roode was confident as ever as he returned to the NXT ring for the first time since his successful title defense at Takeover Brooklyn III. He said he defended the championship the way he saw fit, against any challenger, at any time. He is NXT. Now he finds out that in his absence William Regal has forgotten who the champion is, and made a tournament to crown a new number one contender. Roode said he doesn't give a damn who wins the tournament, the result will be the same, Roode standing tall and another victim falling to "The Glorious One". Roode exited the ring and joined
Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGinness and Percy Watson at the commentary table as we got set for the main event.

The main event of the evening saw Johnny Gargano and the man who recently made his return to NXT, Chad Gable, in a match to see who would advance in the tournament to crown a new number one contender for the NXT Championship. A hard fought battle that showcased just how good both these superstars are as singles competitors. The fans didn't know who to root for as both men gave it their all and left nothing back as both men wanted to be the next NXT Champion. The hard fought battle came to a close as Gable had an "Ankle Lock" locked in, but Gargano rolled through and locked in the "Crosston Crab" in the middle of the ring leaving no choice but for Gable to tap out. Johnny Gargano advances in the tournament. The two men had nothing to be ashamed of as they had just competed in one of the best matches in NXT history. As they shook hands Bobby Roode hit the ring and took out both men, smashing them with his NXT Championship and standing tall as the show ended.

*Emma and Dana Brooke added to the roster post.

*Feels good to be writing again, haven't done a BTB since, god, 2010 I think.

    Re: NXT.

    - Always enjoy a good tournament, looking forward to seeing who is going to be the new #1 contender.

    - Not very knowledgeable about any of the people in the tag bout (except Tino because of Breaking Ground) but it looks as though you may be giving The Ealys a push, interested to see where that goes.

    - Emma and Dana back in NXT is good for them, they'll beef up the women's division immensely. Is Emma a heel? I can't see her and Dana ever teaming up. Also, I feel as though a wrestler calling someone else a "jobber" would be a BIG no-no.

    - Good to see Pete Dunne being featured on NXT and hoping to see you keep Jack Gallagher around as he's one of my favorites from 205 Live.

    - The Asuka angle is very intriguing and I have to wonder if NXT will get thier women's champion back.

    - So Emma is a heel, still don't see her teaming up with Dana and Mandy Rose but that's probably because I haven't seen much of heel Emma. Going to be a cool trio nonetheless I think.

    - Roode's promo was effective, I can imagine him being a dominant champion for a long time to come.

    - Gargano vs. Gable would have been an amazing match to see in the real NXT, interesting to see Gargano advance but it's clear you'll be working him up to the main event. Roode standing tall at the end was great.

    - Overall, I love the way you write your shows, easy to read and easy on the eyes. Keep up the great work, I will be reading!

    NXT Preview......

    NXT Episode 4 Preview
    September 13, 2017
    Orlando, Florida

With one man already advancing in the number one contenders tournament, Johnny Gargano, who else will take one more step towards challenging Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship?

    The Beautiful People
Last week Emma and Dana Brooke were not happy about being insulted by Ruby Riot and they made their presence felt in their return to attacking Riot during her match with Mandy Rose. When Liv Morgan attempted to help, she was also taken out. How will Ruby Riot react to being attacked by the returning NXT superstars?

    The Quest Continues...
Last week, Johnny Gargano defeated Chad Gable to advance one step closer to becoming number one contender. This week, two more matches will occur. 4 men, only two can advance. Who will continue to the fatal four way in two weeks and go on to challenge the NXT Champion?

    Ohno Vs Lorcan
Kassius Ohno returns to do battle with the up and coming Oney Lorcan, who looks to make an impression against the NXT veteran.

All this and more when NXT returns to Full Sail University this Wednesday, only on the WWE Network.

    Re: NXT.

    NXT September 6th Review:

    What I Liked:

    Tournament To Determine Roode's Contender:
Since Finn Balor's reign really, I have felt that the NXT title picture has been in a rut. It's become a constant game of the same match over and over without a different contender for the championship. To say the least, this tournament is catching my eye. Gargano and Gable would be a killer match that I would love to see. Johnny Gargano is my immediate pick to win it all because I am a huge fan of his. But I would not be opposed to someone new in the scene. Definitely catching my interest with this without a doubt.

Dunne / Bate: I'm glad you're sticking to using these two in a feud. In my opinion, they're the best bets to give the United Kingdom Championship some legitimacy while someone else like Mark Andrews, Trent Seven, and Wolfgang can grow into the role. Not to say those three are champion material, but Dunne and Bate still make the most sense with legitimacy from the tournament under their belt. Both men would be a nice transition into the NXT Championship picture as well. While I'm sure that day can come, I'll look forward to the next Bate and Dunne encounter.

    Returns to NXT:
Thus far, you have picked some great people to rejoin NXT. Emma is underutilized completely on the main roster, and Dana & Enzo could both use some work. The only person I don't agree with is Chad Gable, but he did lose his tag team partner after all. I'm glad that was acknowledged upon his return.

    What I Would Do Differently:

    Nothing For The Women:
One thing that I would fix is that the women have no championship to currently contend for. I understand Asuka had to leave NXT eventually, and it was the best decision that she left undefeated. Unfortunately, it left the women with nothing to fight for. While not all storylines need to revive around the championship, every superstar desires to have the title at one point or another. Angle stripping Asuka of the championship seems like the easiest thing to do. Plus, the NXT Women's Championship adds nothing to RAW. I hope the championship is returned to Regal soon especially as I anticipate a new influx of women with the Mae Young Classic ending.

Sticking To What Works: This is something that the real NXT also does which bothers me. It is the duo/trio of heel women. They had The BFFs, Emma/Dana, and The Iconic Duo. Now, you may have a new trio once again. I understand that Emma and Dana were a past part of NXT, so that does not bother me playing into their history together. I hope Mandy isn't an official member though. She should be fine alone and not relying on a gimmick that two other women have already established together. Sure their can be allies throughout like what you have with Riot and Morgan, but I think that superstars could benefit without the usual bad girls stable.

Overall, I am enjoying what you're producing. You have some interesting storylines going here that I could see really elevating what you already have.

    "If you're gonna do it..."

    WWE NXT NXT Episode 4

    NXT
    September 13th 2017
    #OnlyTheStrong

As NXT began this week, the NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain made their way to the ring accompanied by Paul Ellering. Ellering stated that The Authors have one thing on their mind, and that is destroying the careers of SAnitY. He said that The Authors have heard that SAnitY has been asking for their championship rematch due to them winning against The Authors at Takeover. Its Time to collect. Ellering said himself, Akam, and Rezar are there to accept the challenge of SAnitY. The Tag Team Champions did not get who they wanted though, as Heavy Machinery made their way into the arena. Otis and Tucker got in the ring and said that if The Authors want a match, they can have one. Akam and Rezar were not happy and they made it clear, laying waste to Machinery and scoring a pinfall in less then 2 minutes.

Kayla Braxton was standing in the backstage area next to Lars Sullivan. She asked what has caused this new attitude and hate that has been shown by Lars as of late. before she can finish her sentence Lars cut her off. He said that the NXT universe has ignored him for too long, but tonight he will win his match in the number one contender tournament and go on to become the most dominant NXT Champion ever. Kayla was left standing alone as Lars marched away.

Footage from earlier this week of Emma and Dana Brooke was shown. They laughed and made jokes as they were shown entering the WWE performance center. They knew exactly why they were there as they quickly approached Ruby Riot who was sitting next to one of the training rings. Emma told Ruby that she wasn't impressed by Ruby's performance last week and that her and Dana will save the NXT Women's divison while people like Ruby will contnue being the zeros that they are. Ruby showed no fear as she got right in Emma's face and told her that last week it was three on one, Emma would never beat her one one one. Emma laughed as her and Dana made their exit.

The second match of the night saw Aleister Black, coming off a huge victory at Takeover Brooklyn III, taking on the big man Lars Sullivan in a number one contenders tournament match! A clash of styles occurred as Lars attempted to take out Black with brute strength and Black attempted to pick Lars apart piece by piece with clusters of kicks. In the end Black's gameplan was too much for Lars to overcome as Black hit the "Black Mass" for the win to advance one step closer to becoming number one contender. Following the match Lars was furious, as he made it to his feet he charged at Black and got taken out again by another "Black Mass".

A promo showing highlights from the Mae Young Classic was shown. Footage of Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Kay Lee Ray and Rhea Ripley was shown before finally coming to Mae Young Classic Winner Kairi Sane. The footage ended displaying the words "In Two Weeks, They Arrive".

Roderick Strong was show preparing backstage for the main event. NXT Champion Bobby Roode emerged into the locker room laughing arrogantly. He said Strong has had too many opportunities at the NXT Championship, Strong needs to get it through his head that Roode is NXT and that the NXT Championship is never going anywhere.

The third match of the night had NXT veteran Kassius Ohno taking on Oney Lorcan. Both men haven't had the best luck recently in NXT and were looking to show they still belonged. The match went back and forth as neither man wanted to take the loss, Ohno had the match won as he finally managed to hit the "Rolling Elbow" but before he was able to get the pin he was assaulted by....Mike Kanellis!! Kanellis attacked both men with stomps and fists before finally lifting Ohno onto his shoulders and dropping him with a "Samoan Driver". Kanellis stood tall in the ring as he was joined by his wife, Maria.

NXT General Manager William Regal was shown in his office with Drew McIntyre. Drew said that it's been two weeks since Eric Young cheated to beat him, and he wants a match with him tonight. Regal said that it cannot happen tonight as Young is not in the building, but next week, in the final first round match of the number one contenders tournament, it will be Drew McIntyre taking on Eric Young. McIntyre seemed pleased with this news.

NXT Champion Bobby Roode returned to the commentary table for the second week in a row, this time to watch the main event as Roderick Strong and SAnitY's Killian Dain competed to see who would move one step closer to challenging him for the NXT Championship. Dain dominated much of the match using his size to his advantage but Strong refused to stay down, knowing this could be his last shot at the NXT Championship picture. Strong made a huge comeback and managed to hit his single leg dropkick but was too beaten to make the pin leaving both men on the ground. Dain's partner Alexander Wolfe made his way onto the stage and started to make his way to the ring as Bobby Roode commented that he loves it when a plan comes together. Before Wolfe was able to make it to the ring, he was assaulted by the NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain. As Dain and Strong both made it to their feet they began trading blows, Dain got the upper hand until Strong bounced back delivering a jumping high knee to the face of Dain taking the big man down and securing the victory for Strong. Strong celebrated in the ring as he looked towards his possible future, NXT Champion Bobby Roode.

    Re: NXT.

Reading this project I like it so far. It easy to read and the formatting is smooth. As mentioned by Rasky I feel like the women have no real direction in the project so far. Riot just finished with the Iconic Duo and is now moving on to another duo just seems very repetitive.

However I will say the tournament is moving along nicely and I do like the Sanity/Author of Pain storyline. Just one thing is to maybe make clearer on what match-ups are looking like, you actually create a bracket so it's easier for us to follow and we see who is taking on who in the next round. Good luck with the rest, I will be continuing to read!

    WWE NXT NXT Episode 5

    NXT
    September 20th 2017
    #AnUnexpectedReturn

Last week Mike Kanellis and his wife Maria shocked the NXT universe when he attacked Kassius Ohno and Oney Lorcan during their match. This week Kanellis opened the show putting on a dominant performance against Riddick Moss. Moss tried his best but Kanellis had the advantage from the start after an elbow to the back of the head immediatly after the ref rang the bell, and taking his time to dismantle Moss before hitting a "Samoan Driver" to get his first win in NXT.

Before the ring announcer could announce Kanellis as the winner, he snatched the mic from her hand. He angrily said he is tired of hearing "Mike Kanellis" , his name is Mike Bennett. He told the NXT universe this is the real him, violent, devastating, the best superstar on any roster. The power of love, was really just the power of prescription drugs and now that he is free of that addiction he is dead set on proving that he is the greatest of all time. He ranted about everyone on Smackdown Live going crazy about Shinsuke Nakamura so he came here to show that he is just as good as Nakamura, or Seth Rollins, or Kevin Owens or anyone that came from NXT. Nothing is going to stop him from achieving anything he wants.

Cathy Kelley was backstage interviewing Drew McIntyre about his opponent in the main event. McIntyre said that he's been waiting over a month for this moment, when he finally gets his hands on Eric Young for taking the NXT Championship from his grasp. Right when McIntyre talked about the NXT Championship, the champion Bobby Roode arrived , almost as if he had been waiting to make his grand entrance. Roode said that McIntyre doesn't deserve another shot, he lost at Takeover because he is not the better man. Roode raised the Championship above his head and smiled telling McIntyre to pay attention tonight as the champion lays waste to someone who thinks they are on his level.

Ruby Riot arrived to the ring, set on getting revenge on Emma for viciously attacking her a few weeks prior, unfortunately it was not meant to be. Emma made her way to the ring accompanied by Dana Brooke, and grabbed a microphone. Emma said that she is currently fighting a cold, so instead of facing her, Ruby will be losing to Dana tonight. The match was very competitive as Ruby tried to make an impression against the returning NXT women, and Dana looked to prove just how strong she is. The end of the match came when Emma got up on the ring apron and Ruby caused Dana to knock Emma to the floor. When Dana turned around, Ruby hit her with the "Pele Kick" for the win.

Ruby celebrated in ring, having overcome one of her rivals in NXT, but the celebration was cut short when Emma and Dana attacked her from behind. Emma picked Ruby off the ground and threw her into a devastating spinebuster from Dana. Emma grabbed a mic and screamed that she wants the NXT Women's Championship and if William Regal doesn't figure out the Women's Championship situation soon, her and Dana will lay waste to any woman that walks through the curtain.

Footage of an empty NXT arena was shown, a familiar voice broke through the silence and said "It's been awhile" suddenly in the empty NXT arena Enzo Amore 's music hits before the screen went black and the word soon appeared.

NXT General Manager William Regal was sitting on his desk, looking directly into the camera, addressing the NXT universe. He said that he has had a stressful few weeks since NXT Women's Champion Asuka was drafted to Raw, he has tried the civil way to get the championship back, but both Asuka and RAW General Manager Kurt Angle have been avoiding his calls. So this Sunday at the RAW exclusive event No Mercy, he will be there and he will strip Asuka of the NXT Women's Championship.

NXT Champion Bobby Roode had his first match since his successful title defense at Takeover Brooklyn III, taking Kona Reeves. Reeves looked to prove himself with a win over the NXT Champion, but Roode showed why he is the man on NXT. After Reeves missed a crossbody attempt off the top rope, the NXT Champion picked him up for not one, not two, but three "Glorious DDTs" clearly trying to show his dominance to anyone that looks to take his championship
    .

Tyler Bate entered William Regal's office. Regal looked very happy to see him. The General Manager said he was thrilled to see Bate return a few weeks ago, and he's hoping that he is ready to get back in the ring. Bate smiled and said he is definitley ready to get back in the ring, but first, he wants his championship back.

The main event of the night saw Drew McIntyre finally getting his hands on Eric Young, in the final match of the Number One Contender tournament first round. The crowd was solidly behind McIntrye as he looked to finally get revenge for Eric Young costing him the NXT Championship. Towards the end of the match, Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain made their way to ringside. Wolfe and Dain pulled McIntyre out of the ring, but he would not be stopped as he hit both men with "Claymore" kicks, then rolled back into the ring just in time for Eric Young to lift him up and hit him with a "Death Valley Driver" for the win. Eric Young had advanced in the tournament, but that wasn't enough as he, and his SAnitY teammates engaged in a three on one assault against McIntyre. Just when all seemed lost......TM61 rushed down the ramp towards the ring!!! Nick Miller and Shane Thorne came to McIntyre's aid and helped him fight off his assailants. The crowd began a welcome back chant as TM61, and McIntyre stood tall in the middle of the ring and SAnitY retreated to the back.

    * Mike Bennett officially added to the roster post.
*Shane Thorne officially taken off the injured list.

    Re: NXT.

Must say things progressed nicely on this week's show. Anyway onto a review:

I thought the Power of Love gimmick was something that could work well down at NXT so I'm slightly disappointed it was scrapped. With that said, I don't mind a more aggressive Bennett but now I wonder where Maria fits into all of this. She's decent on the mic but not a good wrestler. With that said I almost wanted her to deliver the promo as opposed to Bennett so she's at least someone relevant. Hopefully you figure something out.

The McIntyre stuff was standard and I really enjoyed it. As for Roode taking on Reeves that was smart booking as well, although I do believe Reeves has some good talent and can be a solid mid carder of you are able to give him some type of direction.

We all know Emma is the real star so I'm glad to see Dana take the fall. Pretty standard match but I'm really interested in what Regal has planned for Angle and Asuka. I'm hoping you sho that segment at No Mercy because that can really get a strong storyline going for a women's division that really needs it right now.

If there's one thing WWE has really rushed/dropped the ball on it is the UK title. I understand it's still at its beginning stage but I was shocked when Takeover didn't have Bate/Dunne 3. Anyway, if you can somehow create magic with that I will applaud you because it has so much potential.

Maybe im wrong but if Wolfe and Dain make contact with McIntyre wouldn't that cause a DQ?!?! Anyway having Mac lose was a bit shocking especially after the promo between him and Roode earlier. I will say I did enjoy the return of TM61. Talented team with loads of potential. Adding them to an already pretty solid tag team division is exciting.

overall: Felt this was a better show then last. I do question Mac losing to Young, just made the Roode/Mac promo from earlier feel like a waste. Other than that solid booking. Interested to see what happens with the women's NXT title and I really hope you plan on showing that segment that occurs at No Mercy. I feel it will give it that added injection of life that the women's division needs. Good luck and I'll be reading

Why thank you for continuing to read..

I thought the Power of Love gimmick was something that could work well down at NXT so I'm slightly disappointed it was scrapped.

Yeah couldn't get into the power of love thing, then he started jobbing and doing dark matches, so wanted him to be bigger when I brought him in to NXT.

She's decent on the mic but not a good wrestler. With that said I almost wanted her to deliver the promo as opposed to Bennett so she's at least someone relevant.

..Dammit, didn't even think of having Maria do the promo.

I'm really interested in what Regal has planned for Angle and Asuka. I'm hoping you sho that segment at No Mercy

Oh don't worry, No Mercy will be shown.

If there's one thing WWE has really rushed/dropped the ball on it is the UK title. I understand it's still at its beginning stage but I was shocked when Takeover didn't have Bate/Dunne 3. Anyway, if you can somehow create magic with that I will applaud you because it has so much potential.

I agree about them dropping the ball with the UK division, I'm hoping I can build it up a bit.

Maybe im wrong but if Wolfe and Dain make contact with McIntyre wouldn't that cause a DQ?!?!

Ummm...the way I saw it was the pulled him out of the ring, but he got the kicks off before they hit him so no disqualification needed.

I will say I did enjoy the return of TM61. Talented team with loads of potential.

Yeah, TM61 were great, have some big stuff planned for them.

overall: Felt this was a better show then last.

It's interesting, because I was less pleased with this show, but I guess we are all our worst critics.

I do question Mac losing to Young, just made the Roode/Mac promo from earlier feel like a waste.

Roode / Mac promo was a victim of me not paying attention during rewrites. McIntyre was originally supposed to go over, but I thought a four way of all "face" wrestlers wouldn't play well, so Young was chosen as the victor instead.

I feel it will give it that added injection of life that the women's division needs.

Was my plan to build up the women's and tag team divisions, I always feel like they get pushed to the side in WWE. You could argue Asuka wasn't but really she just ran through everybody and you always knew she would win so there wasn't any real contenders (in my opinion anyway).

Good luck and I'll be reading

    Thanks again for the review!!!

No Mercy WWE Raw Presents No Mercy

    WWE Raw Presents
    No Mercy
    September 24th 2017

NXT General Manager William Regal stood at the doors of the arena , awaiting the arrival of Asuka. Regal asked one of the crew members backstage where Asuka was, if she was ok, the event had already started. The crew member shrugged and said that she always shows up late, she's the champ. Regal looked disgusted as he said that's not the Asuka he knew.
    __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

William Regal was still standing and waiting, as the Champion Asuka finally entered the arena, just prior to her championship defense. Regal attempted to talk to her but she walked past as if he did not exist.
    __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The crowd went wild as the undefeated holder of both the NXT and Raw Women's Championships Asuka made her way to the ring for her first official Raw Women's Championship defense as she would defend against the returning Bayley. As she awaited her opponent she was instead greeted by NXT General Manager William Regal, who made his way to the ring. Regal entered the ring and said that the games had gone on long enough, it was time to relinquish the NXT Women's Championship. Asuka gripped both championships close to her. Raw General Manager Kurt Angle made his way to the ring, furious as ever. Angle told Regal this was not the time, there is a championship match about to happen. Regal said Angle is just as much to blame for this as he has also been dodging Regal's calls.Regal said all he wants is the NXT Women's Championship, Asuka is no longer a NXT superstar and has no right to still hold the championship. Asuka argued that she never lost the championship. Angle, clearly wanting to get on with his event, turned to Asuka and demanded she give Regal the championship or he would be forced to cancel the match tonight and award Bayley the Raw Women's Championship. Asuka lost it, screaming at both men before finally throwing the championship at Regal's feet. Regal picked it up, thanked Asuka, and wished her best in her career. Before Regal could exit the ring, the voice of NXT superstar Emma rang through the arena as her and Dana Brooke entered the arena through the crowd. Emma said that finally, Regal can give her what she deserves, the NXT Women's Championship. Kurt Angle called for security as Emma and Dana climbed over the barricade. Regal said this wasn't the time or the place for these issues. Dana stood between Emma and the security stopping them in their tracks and threatening to charge them if they touched her, Emma used the distraction to enter the ring. Emma said it was the perfect time, she has been waiting since 2012 when she walked into NXT for someone to recognize her talent and to get what she deserves, and she wasn't leaving without the championship. Emma attempted to pry the NXT Women's Championship from Regal, causing him to pull it away and send Emma stumbling back into "Spin Kick" from Asuka, knocking her out cold. Dana pulled Emma from the ring and carried her up the ramp as they were escorted by security, as Angle told Regal he should also exit the arena before he is thrown out.

    WWE NXT NXT Episode 6

    NXT
    September 27th 2017
    #Fourway

NXT once again broadcast from Full Sail University as we were all set to find out who would be the next superstar to challenge Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship.
The show opened with Johnny Gargano backstage with Christy St. Cloud. She asked him how he feels about the fatal four way, and what he thinks his chances are? Gargano smiled, and said that he is prepared, and he is focused on the future. He said he will win the four way, and go on to win the NXT Championship for himself, his family, and his fans.

The opening match of the night saw The Rough Brothers (Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler) taking on The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Former NXT Tag Team Champion Blake continued to climb the ranks of the tag team division with his new partner Cutler as they knocked off the new team of Dawkins and Ford in a competitive start to the night. Ford and Dawkins had the crowd behind them, but in the end they were dancing in premature celebration and Dawkins lost the match for his team when he got hit with the inverted ddt from Cutler, and the frog splash from Blake.

Cathy Kelley was backstage, she looked uncomfortable interviewing Aleister Black about his feelings on his chances in the fatal four way. Black did not respond, and just walked off.

The familiar voice rang out...MY NAME...footage of Enzo Amore performing various moves throughout the years was shown....IS ENZO AMORE....his look changing throughout the years...AND I AM....the footage ends with Enzo raising his custom mic in the air then fades to black and the word soon appears.

NXT General Manager William Regal made his way to the ring, carrying the NXT Women's Championship that he took from Asuka at No Mercy. The NXT women's division was already waiting in the ring. Regal said that he was very unhappy that he had to take the championship from Asuka but he did what needed to be done, with that said, it is time to move forward. In the spirit of that, he introduced the future of the Women's division, as
Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Kay Lee Ray and Rhea Ripley and finally Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane (accompanied by a translator) made their way to the ring. Regal congratulated Sane on coming out on top of the competition, besting the other 31 competitors in the tournament. He said she won the trophy, but he feels that it's not enough, he said he wanted to award her something special. Just as Regal goes to hand her the vacant NXT Women's Championship Emma screamed out in protest. Emma said that she has been working harder than anyone else on the roster, but now Regal is just going to award the championship to a nobody, without even competing. Regal, obviously tired of Emma's nagging said that if she wants the Women's Championship so bad, in two week there will be a Women's Invitational Battle Royal, Emma is entered, and the winner of the Battle Royal will go on to NXT Takeover on November 18th to face Kairi Sane for the vacant NXT Women's Championship. Regal said that the battle royal is in two weeks, but he wants to see one of the Mae Young Classic competitors in action tonight. Kay Lee Ray stepped forward, Regal seemed impressed with her taking the initiative. Regal announced Kay Lee Ray Vs Mandy Rose will take place next.

Cathy Kelley was backstage, having a much better experience interviewing Roderick Strong, then she did with Aleister Black earlier in the night. Roderick said that he has worked hard to get back to this point, he does't have a plan b, he only wants the NXT Championship. Eric Young walked into the room, followed closely by the rest of SAnitY, he told Roderick not to get his hopes up. Young said that only one man is going to win the four way, and it's going to be him.

New NXT superstar Kay Lee Ray looked to impress the NXT crowd as she took on "The Golden Goddess" Mandy Rose. Rose took it to the Mae Young Classic competitor not letting her get much offense in the beginning of the match. Ray battled back and and as Rose went for a powerbomb, Ray reversed it into a hurricanrana sending Rose face first into the second turnbuckle. Ray climbed the turnbuckle and hit a senton of the top rope for the win.

Ruby Riot was backstage talking with Mae Young Classic Competitor and new NXT superstar Dakota Kai. Emma and Dana Brooke walked by, and Dana bumped into Kai, knocking her to the ground. Emma demanded that Kai apologize for bumping into Dana. Ruby attacked Emma and a brawl ensued between the four women before being broken up by security.

It was then time for the fatal four way main event to crown the new number one contender for Bobby Roode's NXT Championship between Johnny Gargano, Eric Young, Aleister Black, and Roderick Strong. The match was all out war, with all four men determined to end the night as the number one contender. Constant action and near falls kept the NXT crowd entertained and guessing who would leave victorious. Towards the end of the match, Eric Young smashed Black in the head with a chair, leaving him on the ground at ringside. As Young celebrated what he had done to Black, Drew McIntyre emerged from the crowd and hit Young with a "Claymore". Gargano and Strong both battled in the ring trying to one up each other. The end came when Gargano picked up Strong and went for the "Lawn Dart", Strong reversed it and sent Gargano into the corner, when Gargano turned around Strong hit him with the jumping high knee for the win!!

    Re: NXT.

First let's start off with No Mercy. I'm a little disappointed. I wanted more out of it. Maybe since it was in recap form we didn't get the full effect, but I wanted more fire between Regal/Angle. After all it is Angle' s show. You teased him plenty of times getting more intense, but finally he just gives it. Also I felt like you sort of buried Emma here. Even if it is Asuka, someone who is far superior to Emma, she just looked weak. Would have preferred Dana take that bump.

Now onto NXT the opening tag match was good. I really hope in the future you develop and give each tag team both more time. Both are very charismatic teams.

Battle Royal is a good idea especially with the additions to the roster. It seems obvious now that Emma is gonna won since most of the women division storylines revolves around her.

Main Event was probably the best written recap match you've done so far. Strong winning is pretty good choice to take on Roode. Loved their rivalry in real life so I like to see what you do to make it even better.

Overall: As I stated above the No Mercy "skit" while a nice idea, just seemed like it was missing something. I do applaud the risk and trying to do something different tho. However you redeemed yourself with a pretty good NXT. You're moving along nicely. Keep it up

    Re: NXT.

so ive binge read through all your stuff and i have some thoughts. Your booking the same period of NXT as i am so its fun to compare where we differ.

So firstly no Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly? I'm assuming you have your own plans for them but if not the change in real life events has opened up different avenues for storylines.

The idea of the main roster sending guys back to NXT is an idea ive toyed with and tbh i think they should do it in real life. So far Gable, Bennet, Maria, Emma, Dana & Enzo all seem like good editions to the roster along with competitors from the Mae Young Classic. Enzo for me has a glass ceiling i can't really see him in the mix for the NXT title so i see him coming back in as a manager perhaps put with Liv Morgan but thats just a guess.

rehabing Bennett is a good idea not sure using the rehab excuse for a shit gimmick but i'll let it pass for a better booked bennett

So dana & emma were replaced by Royce & Kay and now theyve replaced them as they move up to the main roster. I liked Emma and Dana together in NXT so hopefully she gets a run to the title

I know you only used them twice but im guessing your not a fan of Heavy Machineary, hope they get a good run in the nxt tag division

That No Mercy Skit was a bit off but points for trying something different, could we see Asuka return to NXT at some point for revenge?

liked Roodes interactions with the participants in the tournament and Roddy is a strong choice (Pun Intended) for a title program with Roode

Also like the over arching stuff youve got going on with drew & Sanity and AOP & now TM61 very entertaining stuff to read.

So yeah overall enjoyable stuff so far
    keep it up
