Re: Premier League 2017/18 Discussion Thread

Proud of that performance. Utd weren't very good at all, but we had our gameplan and took our chance when it came. Wolves almost thought they were the talking point of the weekend, but there's only one Black Country side stealing the headlines tonight.

It's a result that's fused with anger because I've seen it today under Moore and the two games Gary Megson was in charge of when Pulis was sacked that this team can be good when they want to be and at the very least should be right in the mix for the battle for survival, not 9 points adrift. Moore already has the same amount of wins as Pardew. Pardew should never get a job in top flight football again after that disgraceful, clueless stint in charge. Ben Foster's comments after the match might as well of been a Kayfabe Commentaries shoot on Alan Pardew. Happy for J-Rod, seemed like having his name cleared this week of racism charges took a lot of pressure off him and played like a man happy to get back to matters on the pitch.

For those not familiar with Moore and why we love him, he scored the goal that won us promotion in 2002 that transformed the clubs fortunes. Very interested to see how he gets on these last 4 games because we've lacked unity all season and he seems to be a man who is getting the lads to work together and fight for pride if nothing else.

    Congrats to City.

nice win by West Brom. And good work, Newcastle.

Honestly, not surprised or even all that annoyed by the Arsenal loss. Just predictable. Mustafi is the most two-faced defender I think I've ever seen - capable of being imperious in some matches, and absolutely atrocious in the next. We have zero away points in 2018. Its mid-April. That's ridiculous for a "top" side. Yet I'm more convinced than ever we won't see a manager change this summer.

Peter Crouch is flat out great on it. He seems like a solid geezer.

lolarsenal. Would love to see Burnley finish above them now (legit didn't realise they are only 2 points behind them)

Incredible how so many managers over the years have been sacked for much less and yet Wenger is still able to keep his job.

The funny thing is that there are still those who chastise Gooners for any Wenger Out sentiment and call us ungrateful, etc. Not sure how anyone is able to deny the obviousness of the decline at this point.

So many of us have gone past anger and frustration to a point of resigned indifference. I'm not even sure there is going to be a lot of genuine outrage this summer when Wenger stays and probably gets a further contract extension.

7 changes from Jose for this game. Very pacey front 3...lack of pace and creativity in the midfield 3 and two full backs who are probably out on their arse come summer...which is unfortunate for Shaw as he's a lot better than Jose gives him credit for.

    Not relegated just yet~

Klopp really is the worst loser in the league. Shitting all over our comeback with 'the pitch was too dry' and calling the result 'a waste of points'. Get fucked. Can take Pool into the champions league semis but can't beat Albion in 3 attempts this year.

Again, Moore did really well and we might of saved ourselves if we sacked Pardew a month earlier.

Fucking West Brom and their dry pitch, couldn't just lay down and take it in the ass like you guys have done all season could ya Ed.

Poor result at a bad time considering top 4 still isn't a lock for us but it is what it is.

Arsene Wenger’s farewell starts in a big 4-1 win. I just watched the highlights. We left it late but we got the win. Good way to prepare for our big EL game against Atletico Madrid for Thursday.

Watched Wenger’s post match conference, I felt sad watching this. Lacazette’s done well since returning from injury. Scored a brace today so we need him to be on top form against Atletico.

Looks like Salah has won the player of the year award with Sane picking up the young player of the year award.

Hard to argue with both those calls. Obviously I’m happy for Salah but I’m equally as happy that Sane got the young player of the year award, thought they would shit the bed and give it to Kane.
