OOHHHH I WANNA DANCE WITH HEGAZI
I WANNA FEEL THE HEAT WITH HEGAZI
YEEAAAHHH I WANNA DANCE WITH HEGAZI
    WITH HEGAZI WHO LOVES ME

Trust Pulis in this mad weekend of premier league football to grab a 1-0 victory. Thought it was totally deserved, should of been about 3-0 up in the first half. Howe the football elitist can moan all he wants at our 'predictable' tactics and our slow pitch, but his team had 70% of the ball and just passed it sideways all match while Albion had more shots and more corners and more importantly more goals so shove it up your arse. J-Rod looks tidy. 37 points to go!

Felt really sorry for Hernandez today. Worked his arse off, got lumped playing behind Sakho and Arnautovic who did feck all, and was on the wrong end of a 4-0 drubbing against his old team. Better times will come for Chicharito, will no doubt score against Chelsea at somepoint haha.

Anyway, Man Utd looked good, but West Ham weren't the best, so hard to tell where the team is. Matic was superb and rightly got MOTM.

37 more games like that please , all joking aside it was a five star performance with Matic and Lukaku the stand out players, also a dangrous display from Rashford so unlucky not to open up his account for the season!

Re: Premier League 2017/18 Discussion Thread

It was great to start off with a win on the opening day of the season. Now we need to build on this. Arsenal have struggled at Stoke in the past but last season we thrashed Stoke in May. Glad we're playing this game away now than in the Winter. I didn't like Stoke under Tony Pulis, wanted them to get relegated but I don't mind them under Mark Hughes.

We'll be much better defensively because Mertesacker and Mustafi are back. Holding didn't have a great game last week so he will probably be on the bench. Can't wait to see Kolasinac and Xhaka deal with the Stoke players, hopefully we don't get a player sent off.

Ramsey should start and replace Elneny. Another goal from Lacazette and super sub Giroud would be nice. Koscielny and Alexis(if he's still here) should be back for the Liverpool game. I'm optimistic about this game, going to go 2-1 to Arsenal. COYG!

Top of the table clash at Turf Moore today, could be an early title decider if someone gets a winner I'd take a draw there today because no doubt they're top of the world after beating Chelsea away.

Some really tasty games on TV this weekend. Spurs probably one of the last teams Chelsea want to see after last weekend.

One of the reporters down here has just said if you gave Tony Pulis unlimited funds the team he'd have is the current Man Utd team

Another quite brilliant performance from United. Pretty confident we will be in the title race for sure now.

Link up play between Lukaku, Rashford, Pogba and Mkhitaryan so, so good and then you've got Martial to come off the bench.

Re: Premier League 2017/18 Discussion Thread

United Game: Glad Martial once again came on and scored. Hope it was enough to earn a starting place against Leicester City. Rashford was good until the final ball but I have faith that he will be more composed as the season progresses. Lukaku scored again, even though it was virtually one one one, its a chance that we most likely would've squandered last season.

Liverpool game: Watched it with a Liverpool fans and we both agreed that the game, quality wise was lacking. Very slow and scrappy which over the past season and a half is not expected from Liverpool. But they got a game midweek so its understandable. Liverpool got lucky that Benteke missed that chance, could have been 1-0 down.

Arsenal game: Saw the last 15 minutes and nothing much to say but the offside decision was offside for me. It was very harsh but offside.

Re: Premier League 2017/18 Discussion Thread

Same old Arsenal. Poor performance. I was optimistic for this game but for most of our future games my expectations will be low. With the amount of chances we had we should have thrashed Stoke. So frustrating seeing how wasteful we are. Not clinical enough up front and not good enough at the back.

Wenger's tactics were poor. Playing players out of position. Playing two LB’s as CB’s, then Bellerin at LWB. Now instead of taking Bellerin off, Wenger then decides to take our actual LWB Kolasinac and kept Bellerin on.

Why take Lacazette off when we need him. Wenger decided to keep Welbeck on for the full game. Welbeck's finishing is so poor. Plus the ref fucked us over with the Lacazette goal which was onside. Don't rate Andre Mariner as a ref. We badly need more quality signings. Can't see this team going to Liverpool next week and getting a result.

Re: Premier League 2017/18 Discussion Thread

Scoreline completely flattered Man Utd yesterday, and no I'm not bitter because I had Utd to win in under 3.5 goals They do look much improved this year and the signing of Matic I think is going to prove to be just as important as the Lukaku signing because it's allowing Pogba to charge forward more. They look deadly on the counter attack, but bigger tests to come. If Swansea don't bring in an attacking midfielder it's gonna be a long hard slog of a season for them.

Thought Arsenal were a tad unfortunate not to come away with something. At times they were all over Stoke and couldn't find the right finish to get past Butland who was great. Between Butland, Forster and Pickford, surely one of those lads is gonna do enough to dislodge Joe fucking Hart before the World Cup. Obvious point, but when Sanchez comes in for Welbeck I think we'll see them be more clinical.

I know it's not good sportmanship but I loved Harry Arter shouting 'LEAVE IT' to Chalobah when he seemed certain to score. That's Toru Yano level tactics. Win at all costs......although they lost.

It's a really silly way to go for a header, but I don't think Hal Robson-Kanu's challenge is a straight red. He has his eyes on the ball all the way and doesn't lead with his elbow, more like his forearm. Certainly not as bad as arnies for West Ham. Hope we chance our arm with an appeal given the size of our squad for the upcoming league and cup games.

Big fan of Harry Arter's tactics
