I won't be watching this live, but I'll watch the Premier League game vs West Ham instead, as I don't want to wake up at 1-6AM twice in a week.

Hopefully we win but I'm predicting penalties or us just to win.

I would like to beat Madrid but it's Real Madrid so if we get beaten can't complain too much.

Shame Baily is suspended, would love to see how he will hold up against world class talent. Hopefully De gea will be at his best. I think this game needs rashford and martial on the wings since madrid full backs are attacking minded and we could use their pace on the outside with Lukaku as that big force in the middle.

Pumped for this for sure, Madrid still in there pre season as LA Liga starts one week later than the PL, so you never know!!

As much as i love seeing Ronaldo play he's only started training again yesterday but is included in the Squad. Be good for United if he dosnt start, but you bet he will if he's fit.

Buzzing to see both Rashers and lukaku in the starting eleven (fingers crossed) you cant come up against better oppisition than Real Madrid, will be a great game, hopefully positives come out of it for United.

Looking at the two squads, United have the stronger team without doubt..but this is Real Madrid, they specialise in winning cups, so expect them to sneak this one 2-1 as Jose will have half an eye on the opening league fixtures.

United don't have the stronger squad in my opinion. In depth they do but in quality its Madrid all day. I think we will find out just how good Zidane is and if he can defeated Jose and his masterclasses.

Hopefully will be an entertaining game, I've got some work for Rangers to do at 715 so will be rushing home to make sure I see this.

Isco was superb, Utd had no answer for him in the first half. Second half was a lot better but against Madrid you need to take your clear chances, and they didn't tonight. Things are looking a lot better for them this season, they team seems a lot more balanced, even if the defence were torn a new one at times.

We looked a lot better when Fellaini came on.

We looked a lot better with pace against that iffy Madrid defence. 343 isn't the way to go with the squad Jose has. It needs to be 433 or 4231. Using pace from the front 3 will cause a lot of problems for a lot of teams...it's just if they can put the ball in the net this season.

    He played 4-2-3-1.

I was at work so only had one eye on it but it was a fairly even game. If we'd taken our chances it could have easily gone to pens.

Decent game. Isco was fantastic, he's really cementing himself at Real at last. Great season last campaign and he looks to be continuing that form.
I wasn't impressed with Lindeloff. Not sure if it was just a bad day at the office or what, but he didn't look good. Got caught out a few times and was at fault for both goals. If we're going to play 4 at the back (which i expect we will) then for me it will have to be Baily with Jones, possibly Rojo when he comes back. They were our best 3 CB's last season. I think Lindeloff needs some bedding in period. Play him in the Champions League against teams he'll be comfortable with to get him settled and ease him in against lesser teams we face in the cups.

Real were first class and proved why they are the best club team in the world, passing was unreal all night looked quality even without Ronnie.

Better team won hands down but still great to see Lukaku grab his debut goal and Rashford proving himself time and time again against the very best would of loved for him to bury his chance and make it 2-2.

I didn't watch as I was working. Good result for Real Madrid. Hopefully next season, Arsenal will be playing the Super Cup against the CL winners.
