Got to admit it will be weird not seeing sunderland get beat constantly on MOTD. There matches were always entertaining, for the bad reasons from sunderland fans points of view

Can't see anyone but Middlesborough for the title. Villa to go up in 2nd place - who knows about the playoffs.

With the amount of money Wolves have put in, if they don't get promoted they'll get ripped apart next year!

It's a pretty stacked Championship season, I think. Many big names in there. I can see at least one or two bigger surprises happening.

I hope Boro stay down. Terrible club, no fans, no history. Always hated Boro.

I backed Wolves but in all honesty that's a proper punt. Think Villa will go strong and think Leeds will make the playoffs.

For those of us in the US(me) ESPN now has the rights to the EFL, and will be streaming League Two, One, and Championship Games on ESPN3.com

    Re: Championship 2017/18 Discussion Thread

There's some wildcard factors in Leeds and Wolves though as they have managers that don't know the division, same with Hull I suppose, but at least Slutsky has spent time in England adapting before taking a job...it is going to be very interesting though.

Yea, Daniel Farke, who was coach for the second team of Borussia Dortmund, which isn't too bad. But it seems really random, yea.

On the other hand, who cares ? It's no Thomas Christiansen, god dammit.

Will be a massive change from a second team in Germany to the Championship...though I guess Wagner did ok for himself

Ah, yeah...that's right, Wagner was Manager of Dortmund's second team as well...well, now we now, why Norwich signed Farke.

Can't complain about that, decent performance in the end, glad it was Grabban who took the penalty and not Vaughan, Vaughan needs a goal though
