VOLUME ONE
1882 - Twin brothers Victor Howlett and James Howlett are born in Alberta, Canada. Their mother Elizabeth Howlett dies during childbirth and in his grief their father John Howlett abandons his sons and they are played into foster care within hours of being born.
1889 - Adolf Hitler is born in the Austrian town of Braunau am Inn.
1899 - Johann Shmidt is born in a small German town.
1916 - The Battle of the Somme is the largest battle of World War One. Soldiers for the allied forces include Victor Howlett and James Howlett who would be separated after a mortar attacked. After witnessed James Howlett face regenerating he would be taken into custody by his fellow Americans. Victor Howlett on the other hand would be M.I.A. and presumed dead. During this same battle Patrick Wayne would become a hero for saving the lives of his fellow soldiers by diving on top of grenade, and losing both is legs in the process. Another notable person that would feature in the battle would be Howard Stark Sr. would would fly a revolutionary Bristol Type 22 into a German munition depot killing himself on impact, but creating a vital opening for the Allied Offensive.
1939- World War Two would begin and throw Europe and the rest of the world into chaos once more. Adolf Hitler would look to achieve world domination with the aid of his closest advisers Baron Zemo and Chief SS Officer Johann Shmidt. Zemo would be tasked to win the war with means of science and technology, whilst Schmidt would be tasked to look for means of winning the war by powers of the dark arts which had seemingly been forgotten by modern civilisation.
1941 - The Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service attack U.S. Navy Base Pearl Harbour in the state of Hawaii and despite the involvement of The Human Torch (Jim Hammond) the Japanese absolutely decimated Pearl Harbour which would result in the United States of America officially becoming a part of World War Two. A sailor would claim that he saw the Human Torch falling vertically into the Pacific Ocean, but that the Torch would not resurface. The U.S. government would refuse to comment on the Human Torch with it being clear that President Roosevelt was unwilling for the White House to make an official statement about anyone with superpowers.
1942 - A month after the horrific attack on Pearl Harbour, Steve Rogers takes part in the U.S. military's top secret program run by the Strategic Scientific Reserve in what is simply referred to as the “super-soldier program”. This result in Steve Rogers gaining superhuman strength which leads to the U.S. using Steve Rogers under the guise ‘Captain America’ where he becomes a symbol of hope and liberty for the country efforts in mainland Europe and Asia. The iconic shield would be designed Howard Stark Jr. who was a leading inventor for the U.S. military. Rogers goes onto become a certified war hero and is involved in a number of key battles with a majority of these taking place on the Western front.
1944 - The Normandy Landings (D-Day) take place and seeing the largest seaborne invasion in history take place. Unknown to each other three extremely significant men would storm that beach that day; Nicholas Fury, James Howlett and Brian Falsworth. There is no records available that can confirm or deny that either of these men crossed path when they stormed the beach that day.
1945 - Adolf Hitler commits suicide by shooting himself, although there is much debate much later in history between Russia and The United States with the Russian claiming that it was Hitler was actually killed by the Winter Soldier, whilst the U.S. argue that Hitler was in fact murdered by The Unknown Soldier. The truth is buried in history, although it is clear that Adolf Hitler’s death was mostly certainly not something he did willingly.
1946 - Although World War Two has officially come to an end Captain America, Howard Stark Jr. and an elite unit of commandos have discovered the location of Johann Shmidt (now known as the Red Skull, who is the world’s most wanted man). Not only does Captain America want to bring down Red Skull, but he wants to know the location of his best friend Bucky Barnes. Red Skull whilst at gunpoint would reveal that Bucky had long since disposed of before pulling falling backwards into the water whilst seeming to trigger a self destruction sequence of the complex he had been residing in. The entire commando unit would die in the blast, but Captain America would pursue the Red Skull by flying a Ryan FR Fireball that had been customised by Howard Stark Jr. Captain America would successfully shoot down Red Skull’s plane, but would only release he was losing fuel at an uncontrollable rate when he was the the point of no return. Roger’s last transmission would take place between himself and his assumed lover British Secret Agent Peggy Carter.
1950 - The Allfather and ruler of Asgard, Odin Borson has a secret meeting with Kryptonian scientist Jor-El. In this meeting Jor-El warns that an uncontrollable evil is building up among the stars and suggests that Asgard and Krypton work together to battle the darkness. Odin rejects Jor-El’s offer making it clear that Asgard is impenetrable and will never fall. Jor-El leaves with a heavy heart only to return home to find out his wife Lara is with child. Eight months later Lara gives birth to Kal-El, but within hours of being born the uncontrollable evil infiltrates Krypton which result in the planet imploding. Jor-El and Lara in desperation build an escape shuttle for their son Kal-El who they send to the planet Earth as the last living Kryptonian. Kal-El would be discovered in his shuttle in a field in Kansas and would be taken in and raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent as their own son (and take on the name Clark).
1951-56 - James Howlett now known simply as Logan is reunited with his brother Victor and is invited to join the the Weapon X Program which was headed by William Stryker. The team would primarily focus on recruiting mutants and people with powers to work for the unit or detaining those that were unwilling to playball. It was during this time that Logan would earn the codename Wolverine and Victor Sabretooth. Eventually, Logan would desert the unit after witnessing William Stryker gun done a group of school children known for possessing mutant powers. Logan would go into hiding with the Weapon X Program unwilling to let a former member simply turn their back on the unit. The hunt for Logan would be led by his brother Victor.
1958 - Four scientific explorers (Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm) would undergo a deep sea diving expedition in which they would explore the wreckage of Pearl Harbour with the intent of trying to find the remains of The Human Torch (Jim Hammond). The four would trigger a chain reaction by touching the assumed remains of the Human Torch which would lead to all four men being blasted with the same radiation that had powered Jim Hammond. In the days that followed all four explorers would develop remarkable new abilities: Reed (would be able to stretch his body and limbs), Sue (would be able to bend light around her body and become invisible), Johnny (you be able to engulf himself in flames and fly) and Ben (gained incredible strength and durability although his skin would shed and instead his body would become made up of an orange like rock material). The four would decide to use their powers to better humanity and would form the Fantastic Four.
1961 - Logan would be captured by the Weapon X Program and have adamantium injected into his skeleton and claws making him one of the most powerful mutants. During the process Logan would have his memory deleted (suppressed) only to be rescued during the process by a team calling themselves the X-Men comprised of Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr, Raven, Dr. Hank McCoy, Alex Summers and Agent Peggy Carter. William Stryker would escape before being captured, whilst Logan would be uncontrollable and disappear rather than being successfully brought in by the X-Men.
