Thanks, I was curious if people would've felt it was too much at once, but I felt it was a well needed reintroduction.

Looking forward to seeing Suicide get back just to get an idea of how you'll be booking him. I have faith in your ability, just not big on Suicide currently.
I understand that, but with a new portrayal of the character, I think it'll be interesting to a lot of new people

Ellering getting a good run there against Rosemary is awesome for her. Rosemary was expected to win, but that was a good showing for Rachael which is important. Rosemary is so creepy and awesome, and the post-match promo was good. Though I find it odd to have them giving sort of a call out to the Lucha Bros here instead of after the Decay tag match. I'd think Rosemary would be the focus on this promo instead.
I will address this later in your review, just know that I agree.

Lee's just a badass, so no problems there. The DCC/Jarrett promo was great simply for the fact that WAR MACHINE are here. I went to my first ROH show a few months back and they immediately hooked me. I do find it odd, I don't believe we've seen much of DCC and suddenly they're being made to disband by Jarrett. Why? What have they done to him? I'm assuming there's something that I don't know from having not watched Impact regularly, but it seems like a clear set up for War Machine and a random stipulation against the DCC for me.
Well, I am trying to make it seem that Jarrett is getting more and more angry with this company being "taken over" by people not playing by the rules. LAX, now DCC, and later on Lashley. DCC haven't been successful so he wanted them to prove themselves as worth staying together.

A good showing for Decay again, getting their win back from last week. The post-match was solid again, though I feel here's where they could've cut a promo on challenging the Lucha Bros., have it play into them beating on ACH/Taiji and trying to force the tag champs to come out and stop them maybe? Just something where I feel they could've had that demented personality of theirs, and that way earlier could've been more Rosemary focused. It still worked, just something I would've liked for a bit of a different focus.

This Laurel stuff is nuts. I'm definitely intrigued by what's going to happen with them, who she'll be grabbing to face Braxton. Speaking of, a good showing for Braxton here. I've seen a bit of Eli Drake, and really like him, but it's a good move to have Braxton continuing his momentum here.

I feel like this tag match was a little odd. Why is it 5-on-5? I have a feeling we could've gone a bit further with this before the big tag match, and I just don't see the need for it to be two big teams as opposed to a one-on-one of representatives or something. Just feels a little more out of the blue to me, but it's a great way to get more talent on the show so I like that aspect.
I wanted it to be similar to real life, which was 4 on 4, but there were certain people I wanted in there. It wasn't played up on much, which is my fault, but I wanted it to be similar to real life where Josh and JB keep arguing on commentary, and now Jarrett is sick of it.

Good main event match here, both men are badass. The attack by Lashley to get rid of all of his enemies is fantastic. You've definitely booked your main event scene well and it's what has me the most excited. I feel like the blooming triple threat will be an awesome match.
    Thank you kindly

Overall, a good show with just a couple of points I wasn't as fond of. I enjoyed it and see you getting better by the week, so I'm excited to keep following and see more. I feel like the main event will be great. I don't really get where the Knockout Championship match came from for Victory Road, I don't recall when that was made or why. Overall, with a bit more focus on that title and a little more development to your feuds, I think you'll have a fantastic run with this.
This is where the Rosemary promo was messed up. I was supposed to have it announced during her promo, but I brain farted and basically spread out the promo over two segments despite when it was supposed to be one. THank you for the compliments, it is well appreciated.

Keep up the great work. I'll be reading.
    Will do!

1st of all, I ADORE your format man. it's so easy to read and it's just amazing.
Thanks so much, I really like the new set up and think it works great

    Opening Segment/L.A.X. Portion:
It's weird, I haven't watched Impact this year except from bits and pieces and this Konnan promo makes me want to watch it, cause I can imagine him saying exactly what you wrote word for word! The BroMans getting destroyed makes me happy, I don't dislike them, I just adore LAX so much. Homicide killing Caleb Konley during his match was very entertaining & it makes me wonder what you have planned for Homicide, maybe putting him in the World Title picture or the X Title picture? Who knows, I just hope he gets a shot at the belts real soon!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I was trying to get a real quick injection into the group as soon as I could.
    Second Segment/Rosemary vs Rachael Ellering:
Rosemary vs Ellering was a decent match, showed off Rosemary as a conniving bitch who'll do anything to win and that she's as smart as she is crazy. This gauntlet at Victory Road has me pretty excited so I'm wondering who you'll be bringing in or if maybe the match will have a Rosemary/Ivelisse faceoff for the belt.

    Third Segment/Trevor Lee vs Grado:
Not going to lie, I was pulling for Grado to win I love him so much I'm gutted he didn't pull out the upset. Match was still good though, I've always liked Trevor Lee so it's awesome to see him get a good run with the X-Division title. Andrew Everett looks like a big threat to the title but hopefully Lee keeps the belt for a long time.

Grado had a lot of steam when he first debuted, but now he's just kinda nothing. I have some thoughts of what I could try, but he isn't a priority right away.

    Forth Segment/WAR MACHINE!!!:

    FUCKING.

    WAR.

    MACHINE. <3

They're my favorite indy team, so glad to see they got a good reaction on the debut.

Fifth Segment/Decay Match and Lucha Brothers Brawl:
As the Road Agents Notes said, Decay looked brutal against the 2 high-flyers. I'm glad ACH is getting over and hopefully he and Ishimori will start competing in both the tag and X-Divisions cause an ACH vs Trevor Lee match sounds like it could be great! Lucha Brothers coming out and saving their fellow high-flyers was good and I'm pretty excited for their match. Kind of wish it was a Monster's Ball because of all the crazy shit Fenix and Pentagon could do with the weapons but hey, gotta build haha.

    Stay tuned...

    Sixth Segment/Laurel Van Ness stuff:
This is the only thing I dislike about the BTB and it isn't your fault, I think the way you wrote her was exactly how she would cut a promo, it's just cause I don't like this gimmick at all. I hope Braxton just beats Laurel's chosen guy, Allie kicks the crap out of Laurel and then is done with it.

Personally, I love the Laurel stuff, so hope it isn't too bad for you that it'll likely be going for a while

    Seventh Segment/Main Event:
The main event was a pretty entertaining read, I could imagine EC3 and Jay having a phenomenal match in real life, it makes me sad it isn't happening :'( ah well, text form shall do I guess haha, Lashley interfering I enjoyed, I wonder what's happening at the PPV then? A 3 Way seems too predictable but I sure as hell won't complain if it happens, cause all 3 men are exceptional together and it won't take away my enjoyment of this BTB.

Predictable does not always mean bad IMO, so I think things are going great.

Overall I really enjoy this Be The Booker with the exception of the Laurel stuff, but that's only because in real life I dislike it haha. This is my favourite BTB I've read since Shade's Pro Wrestling R and I hope this stays for a very long time :D

That means a great deal to me and I am very happy to hear it

Thanks for keeping up with it man!

I think your last episode of Impact was your best so far. After the initial awkwardness of the reset, things are really beginning to take shape. There are a few things that are similar to in real life at this stage, but that’s okay. Sometimes you need to finish storylines before starting new ones. The tag division is looking pretty good, as is the potential of LAX and DCC running rampage over the whole company. Main event for Victory Road is obviously going to be a triple threat, and Eli Drake/Tyrus drama continues to be built well.
Glad you see that I can't exactly blank reset yet, but I think it's doing well. Glad you're enjoying.

As for Xplosion, I thought you put the right talent over in the opening and the main event. Everett needs to look good due to his program with Lee, and LAX have only just returned so they need wins. A little disappointed DCC didn’t pick up the victory, knowing their faction has a huge match coming up at Victory Road. As a faction they need momentum so I thought that was the wrong move from a booking sense.
DCC's story is a bit odd, but I need to do certain things before I can really get into the narrative. This is just a step towards that.

In general though, thread is moving along solidly. Hopefully you can continue to build this into something promising and truly save Impact Wrestling.
Thank you, from someone with such quality that means a lot.[/QUOTE]

    ***Change***
    Impact Wrestling Intro

We see a highlight package recapping what happened last week in the main event as Jay Lethal went to war with Ethan Carter III. What many fans all around the world called an “Instant Classic,” was a contest between two of the strongest in ring competitors we had to offer. Just as Jay Lethal was looking to put an end to the match and claim the number one contendership, World Champion Lashley would jump in the ring and drop both men, causing the action to be ended, with no official contender decided. Lashley would then go to social media claiming that nobody was worthy, and if either Jay or Ethan thought they can beat him they were, “Full of s***” This didn’t sit well with Jeff Jarrett, as we see a graphic for tonight’s main event, where we will have Ethan Carter III team up with Jay Lethal, whoever gets the victory on their opponent will be the challenger at Victory Road. They’re opponent? Lashley! If Lashley wins, he will have Victory Road off, and get to spend the night as a fan. How will the main event pan out?! Stay tune to find out!

    Singles Match:
*DECAY AND REY FENIX BANNED FROM RINGSIDE*

    Pentagon Dragon vs Crazzy Steve

    Final Moments:

Steve comes off the ropes, leaps through the air, and damn near decapitates Pentagon! He laughs like a maniac as he pounds away on the head and abdomen of the luchadore. Dragon battles up to his feet shoving Steve backwards. Crazzy Steve hits the ropes, right into a BRUTAL superkick that rings throughout the entire arena. Steve slumps forward, falling flat on his ass, as Pope eloquently put it. Dragon motioned for the end as he picked up Steve in a piledriver clutch before butterflying the arms. He lets out a battle cry of “CERO! MIEDO!” before lifting up the Decay member and driving him down hard into the mat! Lateral press as Pentagon Dragon sticks his tongue out. 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Package Piledriver), Pentagon Dragon!
    Match Length: 7:03
    Road Agent Notes:
The match was back and forth, with Steve being slippery around the stiff strikes of Pentagon. The crowd was behind Pentagon, popping pretty well for the yell of Cero Miedo.

After the match, Pentagon Dragon requests a microphone. Crazzy Steve rolls out of the ring to the outside. Pentagon wipes his mouth before stepping to the hard cam.

Pentagon Dragon: Este era un mero ejemplo de cosas por venir. ¡Decay! Queremos destruirte, queremos mostrar que tenemos cero miedo, y queremos ... ¡Monster's Ball! Porque yo soy ¡Pentágon Dragón! Y Cero Miedo!

Pentagon tosses the mic away before doing his hand sign as we fade to the back.

We see a short highlight clip of Alisha Edwards, wife of Eddie, talking about what this war between him and former tag partner, Davey Richards, has done to the mental state of Eddie Edwards.

Alisha Edwards: At the end of the day, sometimes it isn’t the same Eddie there with me. He looks over his shoulder, you know? Eddie trusted Davey with everything, but Davey turned his back on Eddie. He wants to say that Eddie didn’t visit him, but when it comes down to it, Eddie couldn’t lose his paycheck because his partner got hurt. You know what I think? I think Davey’s upset that while he was gone, Eddie became the World Champion. He’s mad that Eddie proved he doesn’t need Davey to succeed, and maybe, Davey doesn’t think the same thing about himself.

We fade out before we get a graphic saying the rest of the interview will be on the Impact Website later tonight.

    Commercial Break

    Tag Team Match:

Moose & Andrew Everett vs Cody & Trevor Lee w/ Brandi Rhodes and Shane Helms

    Final Moments:

Cody lands a dropkick to Andrew Everett, but Everett’s momentum sends him off the ropes. Andrew Everett dives forward, landing a bicycle kick to the head of The American Nightmare, sending him down into the mat. Both men crawl towards their corners, but Cody is able to make the tag first. As Everett dives for his tag, Helms pulls Moose off the apron! Lee starts stalking Everett, who gets back to his feet… KNEE STRIKE! DUCKED! Moose slides into the ring, and Lee turns right into a SPEAR! Moose’s momentum keeps him going, taking Cody off the apron as Andrew Everett climbs to the top rope… Shooting Star Press! Cover! 1...2...3! He's just pinned the champion!

    Spoiler:

Your Winners Via Pinfall (Shooting Star Press), Moose and Andrew Everett!
    Match Length: 11:04
    Road Agent Notes:
Everett got a good pop, but the “MOOSE” chants were really over. Lee got great heat by making “JUICE” chants, insinuating Moose was enhancing, but commentary brushed it off as ridiculous. The crowd chanted for Helms to go away as well.

After the match, Everett stands tall, and Borash claims he is getting official word from Impact higher ups that it is now set in stone: at Victory Road, Andrew Everett will be challenging Trevor Lee for the X-Division Championship! Everett sees the graphic and falls to his knee cheering. He makes the title belt motion before going to the back.

    Commercial Break

We come back to the action to see Braxton Sutter standing in the ring wearing street clothes, with Allie by his side as usual. He has a microphone in hand.

Braxton Sutter: Look, I’m not a patient man when it comes to people messing with me or Allie. So when someone like Laurel Van Ness wants to drag this whole thing out and try to get into my head, it pisses me off. So what I want right now is for Laurel Van Ness to get out here right now, and reveal who I’m facing this Sunday!

Apparently, we won’t have to wait long for an answer, because out stumbles Laurel Van Ness. She has no mic, but that isn’t an issue as it seems, as she screeches so that all can hear. She asks if Braxton is so sure, before cackling and motioning to the curtain.

    ***Regulate (Jammin’ Remix)***
    ???

New music plays as we wait to see who this could be. A man walks out in fight shorts and a hoodie, with a snapback hat protruding out from underneath it. He makes his way down to the ring, keeping his head down. The man is able to get into the ring, and Laurel follows him in as well, also getting a microphone. She screeches before the man looks up.

Laurel Van Ness: Braxton, here is the man that will end your career. Look at the man that is going to fix all these wrongs that you’ve done. Former UFC Fighter… Matt Riddle!

    MATT RIDDLE

The man looks up, with his hood falling off, showing Matt Riddle’s face! JB goes off listing his accolades, including his 8-3 MMA Record. He smirks smugly, as Braxton tries to staredown with him. Riddle just turns to walk away before Sutter grabs his arm, spinning him around to meet eyes again. Sutter tries to trash talk him. Riddle bodies up, daring him to take a shot, but suddenly Impact officials and agents get into the ring, separating the two men. Riddle is daring Sutter to step up and be a man, Sutter is screaming that Riddle made a mistake getting in the middle of this.

    Commercial Break

    Singles Match:

Eddie Edwards w/ Alisha Edwards vs James Storm w/ The D.C.C.

    Final Moments:

Storm throws Edwards off the ropes, dropping down for a backdrop. Edwards rolls over his back, landing on his feet on the other side of James Storm. Edwards lands a kick to the gut, pulling Storm in for a suplex, but Storm flips out! Eddie turns around… LAST CALL! DUCK! Eddie Edwards ducks the foot and rebounds off the ropes. Storm turns around, just in time for a Boston Knee Party right to the face! Edwards hooks both legs! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Boston Knee Party), Eddie Edwards!
    Match Length: 12:03
    Road Agent Notes:
The match was relatively back and forth. Storm was considering cheating earlier on in the match, but chose against it, much to the chagrin of the other members of DCC. Edwards was hugely over, which is great going into his huge PPV match this Sunday.

After the match, Bram and Kingston get up on the apron, as if they’re about to get into the ring. Suddenly, War Machine run out from the audience in street clothes, hop the barricade and climb in the ring. They step up to DCC, who hop off the apron, clearly not wanting to fight again until Sunday.

We see the Impact Grand Champion, Moose, walking backstage. He is met by Jeff Jarrett who shakes his hand.

Moose: You wanted to see me?

Jeff Jarrett: Yeah, Moose. First of all, we at Impact are very proud of you as a champion. You’ve shown that you’re dominant in both a professional wrestling and MMA environment. However, it’s only fair that I let you know that we worked with some MMA promoters and are… Enhancing the Grand Championship rules. Instead of 3 rounds lasting 3 minutes, there will be rounds for every match regarding that championship. Non-title, contendership matches, anything involving the Grand Championship, will now be a match of 3 rounds, lasting 5 minutes. Any match held for the championship will be 5 rounds, putting championship time in effect.

Moose nods, thanking Jeff, but Jarrett doesn’t seem to be finished.

    Jeff Jarrett:
Oh! And the criteria. Aggression, ring control, yadda yadda. We felt that it was too vague and too easy for a winner to be randomly chosen. For this, we are replacing the system to, while still a 10 point must, the criteria has changed. Just as in MMA, we will have counters for strikes from each side, takedowns, transitions, moves, holds, the whole nine yards. And we are going to find out how good this new system works. Because at Victory Road, you are going to be defending against The American Nightmare, Cody. Any questions?

Moose: Yeah… Why change the set up now?

Jeff Jarrett: Well, new management, new vision. It’d been in our plans, but we can only do so much at once. Like I stated though, you’re an impressive champion, so it shouldn’t be a problem for you, right?

Moose nods and shakes Jarrett’s hand before both men walk off.

    Commercial Break

    Singles Match:
*DECAY AND PENTAGON DRAGON BANNED FROM RINGSIDE*

    Abyss vs Rey Fenix

    Final Moments:

Abyss swats at Fenix, but Rey ducks, springboards off the ropes, and lands a big kick to Abyss! The Monster staggers back, but no success in taking him off his feet! Fenix goes to the apron, and Abyss stumbles forward into a springboard dropkick! Abyss falls back, sending himself through the ropes, but still remaining on his feet. Rey gets the crowd riled up before hitting the ropes, he dives through the ropes, only to get a chair thrown right in his face! Referee Brian Hebner has no choice but to call the action!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Disqualification (Use of A Foreign Object), Rey Fenix!
    Match Length: 6:40
    Road Agent Notes:
The match came off as awkward to many. It was structured in the beginning like it would be a very long match, with Fenix avoiding contact. Abyss dominated for 4 minutes, and this sequence was the comeback spot. The crowd deflated a little after the DQ, which is almost perfect in hindsight, because it showed up that Rey Fenix is a face that is getting over.

After the match, Abyss looks to cause even more damage on one half of the tag team champions, when Pentagon Dragon runs out from the back! He has a light tube in hand! Pentagon gets in the ring, and Abyss takes a brutal light tube to the head, blood immediately trickling down the face of The Monster. Crazzy Steve and Rosemary appear from the audience, and Pentagon wields the chair that Abyss brought in. Pentagon Dragon dares them to get in as Rey Fenix climbs up to his feet, ready to fight as well! Security floods the Impact Zone, separating the teams and escorting The Decay out as we fade to the commentary table.

We get a shot of all three announcers as JB sends a sincere thank you to Panic! At The Disco, for the theme song of Victory Road, “Golden Days” off their album “Death of A Bachelor” available now on iTunes and Spotify!

    Tag Team Match:

Tessa Blanchard and Rachael Ellering vs Sienna & Madison Rayne

    Final Moments:

Sienna looks likes she’s calling for the AK-47, but Rayne tags herself in! Sienna looks furious towards her partner, who claims to have it under control. Sienna turns to her corner, but doesn’t see Madison getting grabbed by Tessa from behind… Backdrop Driver! Madison folds in half and Blanchard makes the quick cover! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winners Via Pinfall (Backdrop Driver), Tessa Blanchard and Rachael Ellering!
    Match Length: 7:01
    Road Agent Notes:
The underdog faces got a great pop when they won, as nobody expected anything more than an enhancement tag match. Sienna is one of the best if not THE in our company, which we are trying to work along with.

After the match, Rachael and Tessa celebrate on the ramp as Sienna looks on at Madison in a fit of rage.

    Commercial Break

We come back to see Jeff Jarrett standing in the center of the ring, with JB to his left, and Josh Mathews to his right. The “captains” have clipboards and are ready to announce their official teams.

Jeff Jarrett: Alright, boys, here we go. JB won the coin toss, so he will be the first to announce his team. So without further ado, JB go ahead.

    JB steps forward.

Jeremy Borash: I decided that, ultimately, what has made Impact so different over the last decade and a half? The answer kept coming back as “The X-Division.” So, to start off my team, a former multi-time X Division champion, DJZ!

DJZ makes his way down to the ring and joins Borash as Mathews steps up to the center.

Josh Mathews: Ironically, my furst choice likes to point out JB and his fans all the time, so please welcome, the Namer of Dummys, E-Li Drake!

Drake comes down with Tyrus in tow, as Josh makes sure to announce that Tyrus is NOT on his team officially. Borash steps forward again.

Jeremy Borash: Now, because Josh only has colleagues and no friends, I’m sure he went to some people within the company. However, I have some very good friends outside of Impact Wrestling, wand since the only restriction was they had to have competed in the Impact Zone before, please welcome my next pick… SLEAZY! JOEY RYAN!

Out from the back oozes the hairy, slippery, explicitly conspicuous man that they call “The King of Dong Style.” In a white jacket and pink scarf, with his aviators on, Joey Ryan gets into JB’s half of the ring before laying across the top rope, lollipop hanging out of his mouth. Mathews puts up his microphone and turns away in disgust.

Josh Mathews: Well, my next pick is going to kick some class into that trash bag of yours, because he is the Cowboy! James Storm!

Storm comes out in DCC gear, but also has his cowboy hat in his hand. Pope makes note of that because he hasn’t had the hat in months, wondering if Storm is preparing for a possible DCC break up.

Jeremy Borash: You know, James Storm is a quality choice, but my next choice is also a former champion in Impact. Please welcome, the man of mystery… SUICIDE!

Suicide slinks out to the ring, making his way to join his team mates. Josh laughs before yelling out, “Get them!”

    ***5150***
    Latin American Xchange

LAX run out from the crowd as Pope goes wild on commentary. Jarrett slides out of the ring as Santana, Homicide, and Ortiz slide in with slapsticks in their hand. They start laying into the Ryan, DJZ, and Suicide, as JB motions to the back…

    ***El Patron***
    Alberto El Patron

He’s here! Alberto El Patron is here! He runs down with a chair! Alberto starts to clear house, decking Drake and Storm with the chair! Team JB starts to gain the upper hand, but Homicide, the odd man out, makes sure the number games play a huge role! This isn't fair!

    ***Vs The World***
    GFW Global Champion - Magnus

Out from the back in an Armani suit walks the former Impact Heavyweight Champion, with the GFW Global belt over his shoulder. He calmly takes off his shades and blazer before charging the ring! Right hand to Homicide! Santana! Ortiz! Magnus is cleaning house! The rest of Team JB get into the ring and clear the path of Team Josh, sending them packing up the ramp! We see the teams yelling at each other, and just like that the match is set!

    Commercial Break

    *MAIN EVENT*
    Handicap - 1 on 2

Ethan Carter III & Jay Lethal vs Lashley
If EC3 or Lethal win, they challenge for Lashley’s title at Victory Road

    Final Moments:

Lashley hits a brutal shoulder charge to Lethal, and both men gasp for air as the even bout is clearly in the final stretch. EC3 reaches out for Lethal to tag him, but Lethal climbs up, shaking his head no. He turns to a brutal right hand that sends him stumbling near EC3! Carter demands the tag, but Lethal flips him the bird! He turns around and ducks a clothesline from Lashley, leading to the champion crashing into EC3, sending him off the apron! He turns around to see Lethal, who has already done a front handspring into the ropes - LETHAL INJECTION! Both men are down and out on the ground as commentary go wild for Jay to cover him! Jay crawls over! Cover! 1...2… No! EC3 pulls Lethal off the champion. Lethal demands to know why, only to get the bird in return! The two begin to throw wild rights as Lashley rolls out of the ring. EC3 goes low with a kick to the knee cap of Jay Lethal, hooking up a headlock. As EC3 throws the leg out, trying to nail the One Percenter, Lethal throws him off! Lethal handsprings, looking for Lethal Injection, but EC3 ducks under it! Lashley is back in the ring with the title belt! He decks Lethal, quickly followed by Ethan Carter III with the championship belt before stumbling back into a corner and Earl Hebner has no choice but to call for the end!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via DQ (Foreign Object Used), Ethan Carter III & Jay Lethal!
    Match Length: 14:07
    Road Agent Notes:
The match near the finish seemed to descend into a triple threat preview, as EC3 and Lethal didn’t legally had to tag, but would treat it as a tag match, giving each man a fair chance for the win. We had commentary go over this at every tag to not confuse people when the finish happened, so that both men could be in the ring at once legally.

After the match, Lashley stands tall over both fallen competitors, when suddenly, Jeff Jarrett appears on the video wall.

Jeff Jarrett:LASHLEY! Bobby freakin’ Lashley, you think you just got out of having to defend your championship by doing that?! This company is even more chaotic than I thought. So look, here’s what we’re going to do. Neither of them were able to defeat you, yes. But you weren’t able to defeat them either! That’s why, this Sunday’s main event will be a Three Way Dance for the World Heavyweight Championship!

Jarrett’s theme hits and the camera fades on a shot of Lashley holding his title high as we fade out.

Impact Wrestling Victory Road 2017 Press Conference Highlights

    impactwrestling.com

Weigh-Ins and Press Conference Highlights [OFFICIAL PREDICTION CONTEST],
    Courtesy of Impact's Official Website

Unsanctioned Fight, Winner is #1 Contender For The World Heavyweight Championship:

    Eddie Edwards v.
    s. Davey Richards

Eddie was impassioned about wanting to prove to his former partner that he is superior, as he answered a flurry of questions about how he can end this issue. Davey was calm and collected, often citing that Eddie was only world champion because Davey wasn't around to do it first. The two got heated towards the end with security cutting the Q&A short to avoid physical contact.

If Braxton Loses, Allie Must Fight Laurel Van Ness:

    Braxton Sutter v.s. Matt Riddle

Riddle remained smug through out the questions, stating that this was merely a business
venture. He denied any personal relations with Laurel Van Ness and said that her people contacted his to make this happen. According to Riddle, he hasn't signed an official Impact contract yet, but expects to be offered one when he chokes out the "punk across the table." Braxton seemed more focused on Laurel, stating that he wanted to keep Allie safe and he would do whatever had to be done to ensure that. When asked if his emotions could get the better of him, Sutter said that he thrives when his emotions run wild and that Matt Riddle is grossly underestimating him.

    Grand Championship:

    Moose[C] v.s. Cody

Both men, in stark contrast to the other two matches, were very aware of the danger
of their opponent. Moose said that he knows Cody is the son of a great, and that Cody himself is no slouch, but he doesn't have what it takes to beat Moose. Cody says he's been running hour long gauntlets across the world, while Moose has been confined to 12 minutes max. Cody says that now that there are 5 minute rounds, and especially that there are extra rounds for title matches, Moose doesn't have the stamina to last with The American Nightmare. Moose responds to the accusations by saying that Cody won't make it to "championship rounds" if he even makes it out of the first.

    Knockout's Championship Invitational:

    Rosemary[C] Defends Against All Comers

Rosemary weighed in and stood at the table, declining to sit down for the Q&A. She often answered questions in odd riddles, seeming to be speaking of herself as multiple beings as once, referring to her head as "they." When asked who she anticipated proving a challenge for her, especially considering the Gauntlet is randomly drawn entry, Rosemary laughed. She walked off, declining to answer that last question.

If DCC Lose, They Must Disband:

    War Machine v.s. The D.C.C.

DCC noted that they were not expecting to disband, citing the experience of Bram and Storm as the thing to tip the scales in their favor. Officially, it was confirmed however that Bram and Kingston would be the two to fight, not Storm. The tutelage would be clarified as what they meant. When War Machine were asked why they were brought in, they responded with a simple word; "Destruction." They stare down DCC, who would go on to say that they haven't proved anything in this company. A reporter would retort while going to as War Machine as question that these are the heaviest hitting tag team on the independent scene, and now getting a global audience with Impact, they could get even bigger exposure. They were asked what their final goal was, but they again responded with one word; "Domination."

    X-Division Championship:

    Andrew Everett v.s. Trevor Lee[C]

Trevor Lee would answer multiple questions, coming off as legitimately feeling Everett is below him. One question brought up the fact that outside of Impact, Everett and Lee were also very good friends, not just tag team partners. The reporter suggests that Shane Helms has gotten into Lee's head, which Trevor Lee quickly dismisses. Everett goes on to say that at Victory Road, he is going to silence the doubters including Trevor Lee, making sure that nobody has any questions who's the best.

    Tag Team Championships Monster's Ball:

    Lucha Brothers[C] v.
    s. The Decay

Lucha Brothers had a translator with them, and Fenix did the talking to reporters. He would say that they are very proud to not only represent Mexico, but their family. They say that he Decay underestimate them because of their size, but they can get just as violent as anybody else. Abyss is asked if his Monster's Ball experience is going to be the X Factor for the win, which Abyss laughs at. Abyss says that experience doesn't matter, all that matters is pain and Abyss can cause it better than anybody in the universe. Lucha Brothers were asked for a retort, but Pentagon Dragon spoke up for the first time. He would say, and then get translated, that he is the most dangerous fighter in the world. He isn't afraid of anything The Decay can do, but if he has to, he will break all four arms on the way to retaining his champion. Because he is Pentagon Dragon, and he has no fear!

    Losing Captain Is Fired:

Team JB (DJZ, Joey Ryan, Suicide, Alberto El Patron, and Magnus) v.
    s. Team Mathews (Eli Drake, James Storm, and L.A.X.)

Jeremy Borash and Josh Mathews were the only ones to appear, doing a simple Q&A so each team wouldn't be tested to be in the room together for a weigh-in. Borash claimed that nobody in Impact knows the company, fans, and talent quite like he does, so there is nobody better to be a team captain. Mathews went on to insult the claim that he knew the talent. Reporters asked him to elaborate, when Mathews offers them to look at his team. He would say that DJZ is the only active Impact Wrestler to be on the show recently that is on the team. He said that Borash brought in outside talent because JB didn't believe in the current roster, so he went off the grid. Borash was asked to retort, when he stated that, he couldn't offer bribes like Mathews might've, but he has one thing. Loyalty. Mathews may've taken people from the current roster that want the spotlight, but JB had people from around the world asking to be on his team. Borash promises that this time next week, Mathews won't be heard from ever again.

World Heavyweight Championship Three Way Dance:

    Ethan Carter III v.s. Jay
    Lethal v.s. Lashley[C]

Ethan Carter III is asked about how he was going to put away both stars, with his loss against Lashley at Bound For Glory last year being cited. EC3 says he's looking hard in the mirror at the man he is, and that he isn't who he used to be. EC3 claims that at Victory Road, we will see an old Ethan Carter III, a more vicious one, promising to be an E-C-Three time champ. Jay Lethal is asked how he can be confident going in, stating that while he hasn't lost in his return, but he is also yet to win in a big moment. Lethal says that he's the best wrestler in the world, able to bring the heat under pressure. He promises that he will win the Impact World Heavyweight Championship for the first time ever on Sunday. Lashley is asked what he has to say about his challengers. Lashley says, flat out, they have not, can not, and WILL NOT beat him for that title. He doesn't care if he fights one man, two men, a whole damn army. He is going to walk into Victory Road, break these two over his knee, and prove that he is going to retire as champion.
    Prediction Contest:

    2. Any turns?! Heel, face, or otherwise; who and why?!
    3. Any debuts/returns?! Who?
    4. Who starts off the Knockout's Gauntlet, and who are the final two?
    5. What Round Will The Grand Title Match End In (or will it go to decision)?

    Wrestling Rumor Round Up

*Wrestling Rumor Round Up - Week of March 23rd, 2017*

    - Impact Wrestling has been confirmed as ordering new championship belts commissioned for their show. Apparently to debut at Victory Road, every title but the Grand Championship will be getting a makeover. The issue in the current title belts has been rumored to be the fact that they still display "TNA" all across the front plates. The titles all apparently have different schemes to give each title a different feel, with it being as follows apparently:

    Spoiler:

World Championship - Blue, Black, and Gold
Knockout's Championship - Blue, White, and Gold
X-Division Championship - Green, Black, and Gold
Tag Team Championship - Red, Black, and Gold

    - WWE is apparently coming close to having a "Spring Cleaning" of superstars. There are a minority of people who are very upset with their lack of plans/pushes going into WrestleMania. The most vocal of these is Dolph Ziggler. The former NCAA State Champion has voiced his discomfort in the company's spot on twitter, which he was known to do before. However, he has been direct tweeting other wrestling companies/wrestlers, with it being deleted hours later. Many believe that this could be the first step of him leaving the company. Ziggler's contract is set to expire in November, but we wouldn't be surprised if he requested his release earlier, if not doing something to get it done alone.

    - Speaking of Spring Cleaning, WWE has a lot of lower card names that could be on the way out. Shockingly, a lot of them seemed to be company guys, and are pet projects from the original NXT. Among the names being considered for a release are The Ascension, Heath Slater, Bo Dallas, Darren Young, Curtis Axel, and Jack Swagger. Those men are apparently all coming very close to being released, with it being believed that they only have until Mania to have their spot legitimately safe in the company. The women being considered for release are much shorter, but perhaps bigger in stature. Daughter of Hall of Famer, Superfly, Tamina Snuka is considered close to done, as is the first ever NXT Women's Champion, Paige. With Paige's behavior reported backstage, as well as her relationship with Alberto El Patron, it shouldn't be shocking to many that she's out soon. Her contract lasts until mid 2018, but the thought could be that she may intentionally violate the wellness policy to get her third strike. This would cause her release, voiding her No Compete Clause, and allowing her to go wherever she likes as soon as she likes. Tamina is an interesting case as well, mostly due to how well liked her father was. The belief for Tamina is that she is injury prone and won't be near the top, especially now that they have a replacement for her archtype in Nia Jax.

    - Adam Cole of Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is reportedly on his was out of both companies. While heavily rumored to be moving to NXT, Cole has hinted in interviews and on media that he could be going elsewhere for a "more lucrative and immediate" deal. Many believe that this means he could be moving full time to NJPW like Michael Elgin did before him, transitioning from ROH. However, it hasn't been ruled out for other companies. Cole has a big offer from Impact Wrestling, an offer from WWE which isn't as big (but it's still WWE, so Cole is considering it heavily), as well as offers from ROH to stay, NJPW, and even CMLL in Mexico. The future of Cole is interesting, as it is rumored he will soon be kicked out of Bullet Club, as it is hinted at on YouTube series "Being The Elite." This is more than likely what decides it. If he is booted from the Club, Cole is going to NXT, because anywhere else he could keep the Bullet Club gimmick going. The game now just is to wait and see what happens.

    - Impact Wrestling has also confirmed that this year will be the return of the "Bound For Glory Series." The unique tournament had a structure that resembled Round Robin, but wasn't quite that styled. Facing each person arbitrary amounts of times, the series became hard to understand and follow before eventually being dropped. Impact officials have reportedly been meeting with Gedo and Jado, discussing their tournament styles. With the success of Best of the Super Juniors and the G1 Climax, Impact wants to imitate this structure. Supposedly to be announced as officially returning at Slammiversary, the BFG Series will apparently mimic the style of those tourneys, while also having some imports come in from other companies.

    - Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis have been making waves recently since leaving Impact Wrestling. They appear to be doing what many have been calling an "Indy Farewell Tour." Doing shows for PWG, ROH, Wrestle Circus, and even The Crash in Mexico, the two are believed to be on their way to WWE. Maria has been tweeting suggestive messages that could confirm this, while Bennett has recently followed WWE stars Triple H, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Baron Corbin, and Daniel Bryan on Twitter, which has been sending fans into wide speculation on what this could mean for the future of the dynamic couple.

    - Finally, we can confirm Matt Riddle has officially signed an exclusive deal with Impact Wrestling. Making his debut this past week on TV, Impact has gone all out, licensing his music, having his in ring debut on pay-per view, and inserting him into a big angle already. It is understood that he is to win in convincing fashion on Sunday, but to the extent of that we do not know. What we do know is that Riddle is here for the foreseeable future with Impact Wrestling, with many speculating he could be the man to legitimize and dominate the Grand Championship scene.

    “Golden days!”

We fade out as a narrator welcomes us to the return of a staple pay-per view of Impact Wrestling, welcome to Victory Road!
    ***Golden Days***
    Panic! At The Disco

    *Pyro**Pyro**Pyro**Pyro**Pyro*
We pan over the Impact Zone where a jam packed crowd is shown for the return of Victory Road, with a special pyrotechnic display to show just how special this event is for Impact Wrestling! We go to the commentary table where JB and The Pope run down the card, all while Mathews won’t shut up about putting JB out of a job here tonight. Pope calms everyone down saying we will see later, but for now, “Let’s start this action off, daddeh!”

    ***When The Smoke Clears***
    The D.C.C.

Out from the back marches the cryptic white masks known as the DCC. Kingston and Bram remove their masks on stage while the returning Dave Penzer announces them to the ring. Storm remains in tow, wearing his all black suit and mask. Kingston loosens his tie and, as he and Bram climb into the ring, uses the ropes to stretch and warm up.

    ***Blood And Tears***
    War Machine

The lights go down, pulsing red and white with the drum beat in the song. We hear the vocals slowly come in as we pan up the ramp to see War Machine staring a hole into the ring. War paint on each man’s face, and Road Warrior-esque shoulder pads on, these two clearly mean business tonight in their debut. Penzer announces them as they slowly march down, wasting no time to get towards their goal for tonight. Raymond Rowe climbs in first, stepping right into Bram’s face. Kingston tries to step in between, daring Rowe to test him, but Hanson shoves Kingston back, sending him flat on his ass! The crowd ooh’s as Bram looks enraged. The two teams start to brawl! Bram and Kingston cheap shot the turned around Rowe, dropping him down! Hanson tries to take them both on, but Kingston rakes the eyes! Both members of the DCC pounce on War Machine, beating them into the mat with all they can, as JB questions if this is desperation to ensure they stay together. The Impact veterans put the boots to War Machine as referee Brian Hebner tries to separate the teams. He finally backs the D.C.C. into their corner and Raymond Rowe gets to his feet, clearly dazed. The bell rings, and the match is underway!

*If D.C.C. Lose, They Must Disband*
    Tag Team Match:

War Machine vs The D.C.C. w/ James Storm

Rowe walks up, but Bram charges forward, double legging Rowe down to a full guard. Bram hammers in right hands to the face while Ray Rowe uses his leg strength to try and wriggle his way out of the predicament. Bram continues with the strikes as Rowe slips his right leg out, uses it to shove off Bram’s chest, creating separation! Bram slips off, stumbling back as Rowe climbs up to his feet. Bram again charges, looking to press the aggression, but gets his clothesline attempt ducked! Bram stops himself before crashing into War Machine’s turnbuckle, and turns to face Rowe… DOUBLE KNEES! Rowe PLOWS through The Chesterfield Plague with a brutal strike to the chest, driving him back into the corner! Raymond Rowe shoves Bram, keeping him in the corner as Hanson tags his partner’s back, bringing him into the fray! Ray grabs the arm of Bram, feeding him into Hanson as Hanson climbs into the ring… Bram is brought onto the bearded nightmare’s shoulders, at the same time Raymond Rowe drops to one knee, presenting his right knee to his partner… DEATH VALLEY ONTO ROWE’S KNEE! Cover from Hanson! 1...2… NO! Bram is able to stay in it!

Hanson grabs Bram and measures, looking for the Spin Kick of Doom, but it gets ducked by Bram! Bram goes low, chop blocking the knee of Hanson! The Chesterfield Plague is on the ground, clutching his back in agony after the brutal move he took, but now, Hanson is on the ground with him. Bram starts crawling to his feet, and he backs into his corner trying to think. Kingston yells to Bram for a tag, but Bram starts shaking his head! Bram has a plan! Bram grabs Hanson, trying to lift him up to his feet. Bram hooks up Hanson in a DDT clutch, looking for the Brighter Side of Suffering… No! Hanson drives a knee into the ribs of the british born star! Another one! Bram is double over! Hanson goes to whip Bram off the ropes, but the whip is reversed, instead sending Hanson off the ropes! Bram drops down for a backdrop, but Hanson shows off his agility, cartwheeling to the side of Bram! Bram turns to look for where Hanson is, but he turns right into a brutal Lariat! Bram hits the ground like a sack of bricks as both men drop down, tired from the extremely physical encounter. Hanson gets to a knee, crawling toward Rowe, while Bram uses the ropes to lift himself up. Hanson goes forward, making the tag out to Raymond Rowe! Bram gets to his feet, but Kingston reaches over, smacks him on the shoulder, and officially enters the match!

Bram looks furious and confused, asking what the hell that Kingston thinks he’s doing. Kingston says he’s got this, and turns, RIGHT INTO A KNEE TO THE CHIN FROM ROWE! Kingston stumbles back, LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE NECK FROM HANSON! Kingston falls forward into the ropes, and Bram charges the dangerous duo now… Ducked again! Bram hits the ropes, only to get tossed high in the air by Rowe… POP UP POWERSLAM FROM HANSON! Hanson sends Bram into the mat with Authority! Bram rolls out of the ring, and the referee is checking on him, when James Storm rolls into the ring, beer bottle in hand! JB calls this Storm of old, reverting to his old Cowboy ways when on the brink of disaster. Storm swings the bottle, but Hanson lands a brutal Spin Kick of Doom, shatter the bottle to pieces! Storm gets a stiff right from Hanson, sending him back into Rowe… DEATH ROWE! Storm hits the mat in a heap, as Mathews goes wild on commentary, claiming that’s unfair for his team later on tonight!

Kingston staggers back into the fray, and Rowe grabs him, sending him down with a reverse snapmare to gain separation. Rowe hits the ropes and drives the knee into the chin of Kingston! Rowe calls for the end! Tag to Hanson as Rowe lifts Kingston into the air, just as Hanson soars with a leg drop! FALL OUT! Cover from Hanson, and Bram is about to slide back through the ring, Ray Rowe steps in the way, daring him to move! 1… Bram stares at Rowe! 2… Bram turns his back to the ring! 3!!!

    Spoiler:

Your Winners Via Pinfall (The Fall Out), War Machine!
    Match Length: 8:03

War Machine’s music hits as they stand tall in the ring. Cameras pick up on Kingston down and out in the ring, while Storm is out on the floor. Bram stands on the stage, white mask in hand. He drops it to the ground and stomps it to pieces! We fade to the back as War Machine’s fans in attendance show their appreciation.

We see a shot from earlier today in the parking lot. Cody is dressed to the nines, custom suit, shades, and as always, the gorgeous Brandi Rhodes on his arm. He barks at the people carrying his bags while he leads his wife into the Impact Zone for the most important match of his Impact tenure so far…
    Dave Penzer:
The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the Impact Wrestling X-Division Championship!

    ***Lightning Strikes***
    Andrew Everett

Out from behind the curtain bounces the Apex of Agility, Andrew Everett! Everett, wearing a set of gold and silver gear, makes his way down to the six sided ring. Penzer does his official introductions as we get a run down of Everett’s chronicles with Lee, both as a partner and a rival.

    ***Dynasty***
Impact X-Division Champion - Trevor Lee

In his regular, all black gear, Trevor Lee makes his way down the ramp. As Penzer does the ring announcements, Lee casually saunters down, if he’s worried, he’s absolutely not letting it show here. He hands off the championship to Slick Johnson who takes it away. He moves to a cased championship and opens the case, pulling out the new championship belt to hold up for the audience…

    Impact X-Division Championship
    Singles Match:

Andrew Everett vs Trevor Lee[C] w/ Shane Helms

Andrew Everett charges Trevor Lee as soon as the bell rings, but Lee backs into the ropes. Everett scratches and claws, trying to get to the X-Division champion, but referee Slick Johnson forces him off, threatening disqualification. Everett backs off, and Shane Helms immediately climbs on the apron, berating Everett. Everett turns back, daring Helms into the ring, but is jumped from behind by Trevor Lee! The crowd showers Lee in boos as the Carolina Caveman showers Andrew Everett in boots! Lee pounds away on Everett before getting back up to his feet and yelling out.

Trevor calls for an early end, hooking Everett’s arms and leg for a Small Package Driver… Up goes Everett, but he shifts his weight, turning it into a small package of his own! 1...2… NO! Trevor Lee barely gets out! Lee looks shocked, but is even more surprised as Andrew gets back up before him, nailing a forearm to the face! Lee staggers back, rebounding off the ropes. Lee gets knocked down with a hip toss, and Everett runs off the ropes, dropkick to the chin! Andrew Everett gets up to his feet, landing a running Shooting Star Press to Trevor Lee! Cover! 1...2… Kickout from the champion!

Andrew Everett takes Trevor Lee up to his feet, hooking him up for a suplex. Lee, however, flips out, landing on his feet behind Andrew Everett! Trevor Lee grabs a rear waist lock, rolling him back into an O’Connor Roll! 1... 2… NO! Everett bursts out of the cover and both men climb back up. Everett runs to Lee, nailing a bicycle kick! Trevor Lee falls back, hitting the ropes, and coming back with a LOUD overhead chop to the chest! Everett stumbles, clutching his chest in agony, before yelling out in defiance and nailing a discus elbow!

Trevor Lee gets downed, and Everett climbs the ropes… SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!! CAN EVERETT DO IT?! 1...2… NO! Helms put Lee’s foot across the bottom rope! Johnson sees the foot at the last second, calling for the break! Everett looks furious, climbing out to stare down Shane Helms. Andrew Everett looks at his former mentor, breathing heavily with anger. Helms yells to Everett to get in the ring and lose already. Helms steps up to get into the self proclaimed “Big Dog’s” face, but Everett lands a swift right hand into the chin! Helms collapses to the ground! Everett slides back in, calling for the end - BUT IS MET! BICYCLE KNEE TO THE HEAD FROM TREVOR LEE! Lee falls into a cover on Andrew Everett, hooking both legs! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Bicycle Knee Strike), And Still X-Division Champion, Trevor Lee!
    Match Length: 8:19

And with that, Trevor Lee takes his newly designed championship belt. JB and Mathews are going back and forth about the match, whether it was Helms’ fault for getting involved, or Everett’s for taking his eye off the prize. Pope quickly ends the argument with a simple, yet true statement. “Like it or not, tonight Helms proved he chose the right one of the two.”

We see a side by side of opponents for tonight, Braxton Sutter and Matt Riddle. Sutter is taping his wrists and talking with Allie, while Riddle has headphones on, tuning out the world. Riddle is bopping his head back and forth while the commentary team wonders who will walk out the victor in this war.
    A video package is shown, chronicling the Impact saga of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. It shows their debut as a team, them defeating the likes of The Hardys, Team 3D, and others. All 5 of their Tag Team Championship wins are highlighted, but quickly things shift as we show headlines stating Davey Richards is injured, with it focusing on one headline;

“Wolves Torn Apart By Injury; Davey Richards Considering Retirement?!”

From there, a picture of each man is show, with Davey turning to black and white and fading out of the shot as Eddie gets bigger. He is shown rising up the ranks in singles competition before winning the X-Division Championship! We then see the saga of Eddie vs Lashley, culminating in the shock win of Eddie Edwards becoming Impact Wrestling Champion!

    Enter Angelina Love.

Angelina Love appears in the video, eyes cold, with somber music playing. From behind her, out walks Davey Richards with a serious look on his face. Eddie goes to hug his friend, but gets brutally assaulted. We go on to see Love and Richards, who start to call themselves The Natural Born Killers, beating the hell out of Eddie Edwards and his wife Alisha. Davey and Eddie brawl all around the arena before Jeff Jarrett calls for this, the match to end it all, with the winner proving himself the best, and earning a shot at the World Title. Now, it’s time to find out. Is Eddie really the better of the two, or will the Lone Wolf prove he was just a victim of circumstance?!

We cut back to the ring where Dave Penzer announces the following as an Unsanctioned Fight, with no rules or regulations! The winner will be decided by one fighter becoming unresponsive as a direct result of the other! The man able to walk out on his own power will become the next man in line for the Impact Wrestling World Championship!

    ***Feel The Beast***
    Eddie Edwards

From the back, marches the former World Champion, and the man who has been scorned by his best friend; Eddie Edwards! Wearing street clothes (a hoodie, fight shorts, and black and blue sneakers), Eddie is clearly here for a fight, not for a match of any kind. Edwards goes under the ring, already throwing in chairs, a trash can, some kendo sticks, and climbs into the ring, pacing back and forth. Perhaps most evident right now is the lack of Alisha in his corner, wanting his wife to stay safe.

    ***Eyes of the Hunter***
    Davey Richards

From behind the curtain steps the cold, cryptic Angelina Love! Angelina stands on the stage, staring a hole through Eddie Edwards in the ring. JB warns Edwards that Davey might jump him from behind, but Mathews dismisses the claim, saying that Davey is going to prove he’s better than Eddie upfront. True to Josh’s statement, out from behind Love emerges Davey Richards. In black jeans and a Wolves shirt that crosses out any mention of Eddie, The Hunter looks to prove a point. He turns to his wife and they kiss passionately in front of the video wall, as it washes out red to read “Natural Born Killers” on the screen. Davey suddenly takes off, sprinting into the ring and this is on!

#1 Contendership For Impact World Championship
    Unsanctioned Fight:

Eddie Edwards vs Davey Richards w/ Angelina Love

Richards slides into the ring and immediately starts trading hands with Edwards! Both men sending BRUTAL punches into the head of each man, legitimately causing welts on each man’s head and neck. Pope is immediately shocked at how brutal this already is, but he guesses that he should’ve expected it. Davey ducks a few shots from Eddie, taking him down with a double leg! Davey Richards sends stiff lefts to Eddie from full guard, as he tries to transition. Eddie reaches his arm out, grabbing a Kendo Stick, sending a thunderous strike into the shoulder of Edwards! The sound echoing around the Impact Zone as The Hunter falls back off his former partner.

Eddie gets back up, teeing off on Davey! Strike to the back with the Kendo stick! Now to the right knee! Davey clutches at his leg in agony, but Edwards measures his next strike, clearly aiming towards his head… DUCKED! Davey reaches over Eddie’s back, clawing his fingers into the eyes of Eddie, blinding his tag partner! Eddie stumbles towards the ropes, hands covering his eyes from any possible further damage. Davey drills the back of Eddie’s thigh with a stiff kick to the leg! Edwards grabs his leg in agony, but Richards pulls the arm away from blocking, landing another stiff kick to the back of Eddie’s leg! Eddie Edwards stumbles into the corner, trying to shake some feeling into his leg.

Davey lands a big kick into the ribcage, knocking some air out of the sails of his former tag team partner. The Lone Wolf shoves Eddie’s arms back, opening his mid section. Davey backs up, loading up something for a big strike! He lunges forward… Then stops. Richards calmly walks up to Edwards and slaps the taste out of his mouth! The fan favorite wolf slumps down, clutching his face. Davey Richards turns over to look to the outside of the ring, towards Angelina Love. What he can’t see, is Eddie grabbing a steel chair… CRACK goes the chair across the spine of Davey Richards because of Eddie Edwards! The Hunter falls through the ropes, crawling towards the ramp as he yelps out in pain. Davey climbs to his knees, getting to his feet as he turns around into the SUICIDE DIVE FROM EDDIE EDWARDS!
Edwards climbs back to his feet, yelling out to the crowd, who are on their feet for Mr. AIP! Edwards goes back under the ring and grabs another trash can, smacking the lid against the can itself. He waits for Davey to get up before putting the can on his head… Eddie yells to the crowd before holding up the lid, ready to take the swing of his life. Before he can, Angelina Love snatches the lid from his grasp. Love tosses it down as Eddie Edwards turns around to stare down Davey’s wife. He yells in Angelina’s face, but she doesn’t break her gaze from him. Edwards goes to turn back, but Richards throws the can into the back of Eddie’s head! Edwards hits the ground, grabbing his head in shock.

Davey Richards grabs Angelina Love, and they kiss again, seeming to celebrate the fact that Love saved Davey’s hide once again, this time in a very important turning point of the match. Eddie Edwards begins to slowly crawl to his feet, using the ring apron to hold himself up. Davey Richards reaches under the ring, grabbing handcuffs! Davey lands a swift kick to the thigh of Eddie Edwards, doubling him over. While he’s knelt over, Angelina Love steps up and lands a brutal kick right onto the bridge of the nose! Edwards falls back, leaning against the apron, clearly out of it. As he gazes around, clearly unaware of where he is at the moment, Angelina Love grabs his arms, pulling them back behind his head, through the ropes. The Hunter climbs into the ring with the cuffs, hooks them around the ropes, and attaches each cuff to each wrist, locking his former tag team partner in place, prone to the upcoming onslaught of the Natural Born Killers.

Davey and Angelina go eye to eye, with Eddie Edwards near unconscious in the background. Davey limps over, feeling the effects of this war, before he goes to the side of the ring. He lifts up a kendo stick, holding it in the air as the crowd voices their displeasure. Davey Richards holds the end of the kendo stick to the throat of Eddie, using it to raise his chin and force eye contact between the two. Eddie Edwards looks to be pleading, asking for mercy from his former partner and best friend, and momentarily, Davey Richards seems to be shaken. Davey Richards stumbles back, looking at the kendo stick, looking back to his former partner. Angelina starts yelling at her husband, trying to snap him out of it. She grabs his head, staring him into the eyes as she talks him down, trying to bring him back to his Killer Instincts. Davey turns to walk over to Eddie, who spits right in his face! Davey steps back, shocked! But Eddie will not be pitied! Eddie’s face is getting red with adrenaline, as Davey’s grows red with rage! Eddie Edwards yells out to his former partner “BRING IT ON MOTHERF****ER!”

Davey Richards lands a stiff shot to the exposed ribs! Edwards yells out in pain, but Davey Richards refuses to stop the assault. He lets out a massive onslaught of attacks, sending an uncomfortable hush over the audience as he ends up breaking the stick over Edwards’ back in the frenzy. Edwards slumps over, exhausted from the beating, but Angelina insists they aren’t done. She hands Davey a chair and tells him to “Kill him!” Eddie looks up, but Davey throws the chair right into his face! The chair lands, wrapped around the head of Eddie, on his neck. Davey looks confused at the positioning, but thinks quickly. He lifts the dropped trash can lid, and cracks it into the chair on the throat of Eddie! Eddie falls forward, still attached to the ropes, sputtering and hacking.

Out from the crowd runs a small in stature figure, before we get a clear shot that it’s Alisha Edwards! She has a steel chain in hand, using it like a whip to back them off. Angelina high tails it, but Davey goes to strike Alisha… DUCKED! Alisha gets behind Richards, wrapping the chain around his throat! Alisha chokes away on Davey Richards, doing all that is in her power to put Davey down for good, but Davey tries to fight back. To no avail! Davey drops to his knees, clawing at the chain, but he’s out like a light! Alisha searches around the floor, looking for the keys to the handcuffs. She searches for around 30 seconds as we get cinematic shots of Eddie, lash marks all across his body, and Davey Richards, drooling and out of it on the ground, while JB puts over the sheer chaos of this match. She found the key! Alisha gets on the apron, and unhooks one of the cuffs, unable to do the other because Edwards collapses into the floor. Alisha walks towards Eddie, but Love is back! The two women brawl all across ringside, getting over the barricade and leaving through the crowd, fighting all the while. The former Wolves crawl, unknowingly to each other, just looking for something to get a hold of. They get face to face, in prone position. It takes a moment, but they each realize that graveness of the situation, and how close they are to serious mutilation.

They each quickly get up to their feet, throwing brutal rights and lefts as they return to how this match started in the first place, brawling all the way up the ramp. Eddie Edwards blocks a suplex, getting behind Richards, landing a brutal German Suplex on the stage! Richards and Edwards catch their breath, as the crowd gives their appreciation to this brutally physical contest. Edwards sits up on the stage, breathing heavily. He looks deep in thought, like he is unsure of what he is about to do. We see Davey Richards blurrily behind him, but the camera focus changes, so we can clearly see Richards using the wall as a video support. We focus back in on Eddie Edwards who shakes his head and gets a look of pure determination in his eye. He stands up tearing off his sweatshirt to reveal a whole new Eddie Edwards shirt - “DIE HARD IS BACK!”

Edwards takes off in a mad dash, drilling Richards into the video wall with a Boston Knee Party into the side of his skull! Eddie Edwards looks down at the down and out Davey Richards, before looking around, trying to figure out a grand finale for how to finish off this war. Die Hard walks the length of the stage and sees an equipment set up. There are four tables placed with sound equipment on it. He yells for crews to move it, they at first decline, but the camera’s pick up him saying “Unless you wanna buy new s***, move it! Because those tables aren’t lasting long.” Eddie Edwards gets a pop from the crowd for that, as they frantically start to clean it off. Edwards walks over to Richards, dragging him to the end of the stage and motioning for the end of the match.

Edwards hooks up the arm for a suplex, as JB calls him looking for the Die Hard Driver, a move that he hasn’t resorted to in years! Since before he even entered Impact Wrestling! Edwards goes to cross the legs, but The Hunter stomps down HARD on the foot of Edwards, who stumbles around. Edwards takes another kick, this time right to the knee of the solid leg, dropping him down to his knees on the stage. Davey uses his hand in the form of a gun, firing into the head of Edwards before nearly knocking his head off of his shoulders with the Creeping Death! Edwards is in no condition to continue, if Davey wants, he could take the win here, but instead, he looks to the end of the stage, just where Eddie was looking. He lifts up Eddie Edwards for a suplex… He butterflys the legs?! Fisherman CLUTCH!? DIE HARD DRIVER OFF THE STAGE THROUGH ALL FOUR TABLES! The crowd rings out with chants of “Holy Shit” while we get multiple different angles on the replay, shown around 3-4 times. Trainers flood down the stage area, as they try to tend to these two gladiators. The crowd is hushed while they get a stretcher down, as one of the two men stands up and walks towards the stage… It’s Davey Richards! He seems to have won!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Knockout (Die Hard Driver Off The Stage Through Multiple Tables), And New #1 Contender for the Impact World Championship, Davey Richards!
    Match Length: 22:01

Eddie is being carried away on a stretcher while Davey Richards stands on the stage, victorious, and now the #1 Contender to the World Championship. He pulls in the camera close before saying, “I told you I was the Alpha Male! Let me get a shot and I will knock it out of the park every single time! I’m coming for that title, I don’t care who I have to kill.” He shoves the camera back and walks to the back as we fade out.

We go backstage to see McKenzie Mitchell standing by with Ethan Carter III, one third of tonight’s main event.

McKenzie Mitchell: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is a member of tonight’s main event, Ethan Carter III; EC3. Now, Ethan, you’ve gone on record multiple times saying that tonight we would see “the old EC3,” now, we’ve gotta ask, what do you mean by that?

Ethan Carter III: McKenzie, let me spell this out for you. Ethan Carter III came into this company under old management because of some… Personal ties that I had. I became a two time world champion with those ties. Since then, I’ve cut ties and become my own man on my own merit. But there is one thing I haven’t been able to do. I haven’t been able to win the championship. Tonight, I walk down that ramp, I get in the six sided ring, and I prove that I have what it takes to become a champion on my own. By hook or by crook, I am going to walk out as champion. I am going to prove that I am my own man. I am going to prove, that E-C-3… Is the man to beat.

Carter storms off as McKenzie sets up back to the ring.
    Dave Penzer:
Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, will be your Grand Championship match! When the action begins, your official in charge will be referee Brian Hebner.

With that, the lights go out as the crowd pops.

“Wrestling has more than one royal family…”

    ***Kingdom***
    Cody

The lights come out, and out from the back saunters Cody, wearing his Global Force Wrestling NEX*GEN Championship around his waist underneath a leather jacket. His gear shows his clear allegiance to the Bullet Club, with the logo plastered across his gear, which JB enlightens us that members from all over the wrestling world are tuning in to cheer Cody on tonight. Cody gets into the ring, unhooks his championship and puts it over his shoulder.

    ***Bust Some Heads***
    Impact Grand Champion - Moose

Welcoming him back to pay-per view in “grand” fashion, two NFL players stand on the stage, Gary Barnidge on the left, and DeAngelo Williams on the right. They march out, wearing “Moose Nation” official jerseys (which Pope plugs as available on Shop Impact’s website), while doing the “Moose” arm taunt, getting the crowd into it. As soon as the song says “ARE YOU READY?!” Out from the center bursts Moose, in full Moose Nation official gear, ditching the white trunks for black and blue, with a gold trim. We see Cody in the ring, talking to Brandi with a smile on his face, not concerned with the task at hand it seems. Hebner gets the Grand Championship and holds it up for the crowd in attendance before calling for the bell.

    Impact Grand Championship
    5 Round Match:

Moose[C] w/ Gary Barnidge and DeAngelo Williams vs Cody w/ Brandi Rhodes

    Round 1:

Moose rushes in, going for a lock up with Cody, who instead goes low, tripping Moose up. Moose falls flat on his face, while Cody, instead of persisting on the advantage he just gained, relaxes across the ropes, tapping his wrist as if to say he has time. Moose gets to one knee, checking his lip for blood before getting enraged. Moose get up, sprinting at Cody again, only to again be side stepped, this time getting caught in a School Boy! 1...2… No! Moose gets out of the pinfall at the last second. Moose gets back up to his feet, and Cody taunts to the crowd. He turns around, right into a brutal boot from the current champion!

Cody hits the ground hard and rolls into the corner. Moose meets him there, landing brutal fists to the ribs before a final blow to the chin! Cody stumbles forward, however, Moose gives him no time to breath, planting him with a brutal belly to belly suplex! Moose goes for a quick cover! 1… 2. No! Cody gets his shoulder up with time to spare. Moose wants to put him away fast, lifting Cody up to his feet.

Moose gets his hand around the throat of Cody with less than a minute left. He powers Cody up to the air, but on his way up, Cody sends the tip of his boot into the stomach of Moose, causing him to drop him off. The 10 second cue goes off as Cody spins Moose around. He grabs the champ for the Cross Rhodes, but struggles to take him down. They struggle in the reverse DDT clutch, but time expires!

Cody holds up his hand to say he was so close to ending it there, chuckling. They each return to their corners, getting a drink. Moose gets a pep talk from his friends, while Brandi fans Cody off, telling him that he has Moose worried. They each get one last drink and stretch before getting back up.

    Round 2:

Cody slowly gets into the center, reaching out for Moose, who holds back, letting Cody come to him. Cody steps in, getting caught in a headlock by Moose! Cody takes him off the ropes, trying to send Moose off, but Moose drops down to one knee, keeping his hold in. Moose, clearly learning from his past mistakes from round one, is trying to slow himself down. Moose takes Cody over and slams him into the mat with force, keeping a strong grip on the head of the American Nightmare. Cody hooks his legs around the head of Moose, forcing him off and now maintaining a headscissor on the powerful cranium of the former NFL star. Moose rolls over, powering Cody up onto his shoulders, in a setup for an Alabama Slam, but Cody slips out, keeping a hold of Moose. He uses the momentum to take down Moose in a sunset flip! 1...2… No! Moose rolls out backwards! Moose stacks up Cody for a pinfall attempt quickly! 1...2… No! Cody kicks out, but Moose uses the force of Cody’s kick to deadlift him up… Buckle Bomb!

The American Nightmare arches his abdomen, clutching the small of his back in agony. Moose measure, sending a punch right into the chin of Cody! Cody stumbles back into the ropes, falling through and to the apron. Moose goes to grab him to bring him in, but Cody drops him throat first on the top rope. Cody walks around on the ground to gather his surroundings, when Barnidge and Williams get on either side of him, giving him nowhere to go. Cody yells at them to get over themselves as he climbs into the ring.

Less than a minute left in the round as Cody springboards into the ring, but notices that Moose moved at the last second! Cody lands on his feet, rolls over and gains separation. 10 seconds left in the round! Both men charge at each other, and Moose lands a brutal Hit Stick! Cover from Moose! 1...2… The round is over!

Moose gets up as Cody is climbing back up, and Moose motions to say he was “just this close” just as Cody did last round. Commentary brings up how huge that round was for Moose, a clearly drastic change in game plan seemed to be working. The two competitors re-hydrate and take a second before getting back up for round 3.

    Round 3:

Each man wastes no time, both getting to the center of the ring and start to trade hands back and forth, which Mathews says is a mistake from Cody. Moose has striking power and in a fist fight, Moose wins 10/10 times. Cody lands a flurry of right hands, but Moose responds with a solid right hand, dropping Cody. Cody gets back up to his feet quickly, ducking a clothesline. Cody leaps onto the second rope… DISASTER KICK! Moose falls back, clearly rocked from the shot, but not out as he only falls to one knee.

Cody hits the ropes, but Moose bursts up! Shoulder charge into the sternum of Cody! The challenger flops around on the ground, shocked at the outburst of energy from what WAS a tranquilized champion. Moose stands up, gasping for air, trying to put away his challenger as soon as he can. Moose calls for the end, lifting him up to his feet once again. Moose grabs Cody by the throat, looking for the end for the final time, as he seems to be in panic mode. He lifts Cody above his head, but Cody again is able to block by raking the eyes!

Moose turns his back and Cody is able to go low, landing a stiff chopblock to the inside of the knee! Moose hits the ground like a sack of bricks, and Cody hits the ropes, decking Moose with a Bionic Elbow! Cody wastes no time, going to the legs and applying a figure four leg lock! Mathews states he may not’ve worked over the legs much, but points are points, and this is a sound strategy with 15 seconds in the round. Cody holds back yelling, as we hear the 10 second sound effect. Moose grabs the ropes, but Cody refuses to break, because the time left in the round is less than 5, so he waits until the round ends to release.

And with that, we go into championship rounds! Moose gets to his corner looking exhausted, not used to extra time in the rounds, but now he also has to deal with 2 whole new rounds. Cody looks comfortable, but definitely catching his breath a bit, not expecting Moose to have lasted this long. They get a quick rest, another pep talk, before being brought back into the middle of the ring for the next round.

    Round 4:

Moose steps up, taking a wild right hand at Cody to try and end him! It’s ducked near effortlessly by The American Nightmare, who cracks a smile. He stomps hard into the top of the right knee of Moose! Moose stumbles back, as Cody takes a breath of his own, running off the ropes. Clothesline, but Moose stays standing! Cody hits the ropes again - clothesline again! Moose won’t go down! Cody rebounds once more - BICYCLE KICK FROM MOOSE! Moose lifts Cody up, sending him off the ropes as Moose rebounds a parallel rope - POUNCE! The American Nightmare damn near comes out of his boots on that one, but Moose motions for the end.

Moose lifts Cody up by the throat, Cody finally groggy enough to take the move. Moose lifts him up, but he goes down to one knee! Moose is feeling the exhaustion! Cody takes advantage, springboarding off the middle ropes - DISASTER KICK! Moose staggers, but Cody wastes no time… CROSS RHODES! Cover from Cody! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Cross Rhodes), And New Grand Champion, Cody!
Match Length: 3:32 in Round 4. (19:32 Total)

Cody falls to his knees, grabbing the championship, as Brandi claps for him. He gets to his feet, holding the title belt high above his head as we fade out on the shot of the new champ.

    ***Regulate (Jammin’ Remix)***
    Matt Riddle

From the back, Matt Riddle dances out, vibing out to his music, clearly taking nothing too seriously at this point. Riddle has a few men around him that walk with him that Mathews calls his “Corner Crew.” Laurel is shown watching this match in the back, still the same mess she has been for months. Riddle gets into the ring and stares down with Sutter before the bell rings.

Out from the back, we see the current champions come out, in matching gold and black gear, with special masks that look to be a combination of each of their regular masks. They get to the stage and each point up to the sky, as shimmering sparks of pyro fall down the video wall in two strokes on either side - after it happens, the red, white, and green lights of mexican pride, change to a solid gold spotlight washing down on the champions, as they make their ways down to the ring. They get to the apron, springboarding into the ring and landing making eye contact with their opponents outside the ring. They hand off their championships to Senior Official, Earl Hebner, as The Decay climb back into the ring. Earl hands off the old championship belts, before getting the new design. Both teams dive towards each other, as Fenix dropkicks Steve out of the ring, while Abyss lifts Pentagon Dragon, driving him hard into the corner! Fenix sprints towards Abyss, jumping onto the back of the Monster! He tries his damndest to apply a sleeper hold, but Abyss turns towards the center and ducks forward, whipping Fenix to the ground hard! Fenix uses the momentum to roll up to his feet, running towards Abyss for a dropkick! Abyss pinwheels his arms, but stays standing. Dragon ducks behind him, chop blocking those tree trunks Abyss calls legs, bringing The Monster down to his knees. The Lucha Brothers get in front of the Monster, delivering stereo superkicks right into the chin of the Impact Original! The Lucha Brothers taunt to the crowd, but don’t realize Steve running into the ring with a trash can lid in each hand.

Fenix is the unlucky first to turn around, and is gifted with a loud CRASH of the trash can lid onto the top of his skull! Fenix falls flat on his back, rolling out of the ring. Pentagon turns swiftly, seeing Steve stand over his fallen brother. Steve swings wildly, but Dragon ducks behind! Crazzy Steve turns around, getting a loud overhand chop to the chest that claps like THUNDER through the Impact Zone! Steve falls back, clutching his chest. Pentagon Dragon grabs him, trying to move his arms for another slap, but Steve grabs the back of his mask, pulling and tearing at it. He pills Dragon in and starts biting at his face! Pentagon Dragon shoves him back, sending Steve through the ropes, but landing on the apron. Steve laughs maniacally and taunts to the crowd, but Pentagon catches him by surprise with a quick dropkick right into the small of his back, sending him down to the ground with a whiplash! Steve falls to the ground, and Pentagon is left alone in the ring. He sees Abyss stood near the stage, starting to gather his surroundings. Pentagon Dragon hits the ropes, diving over the top rope with a Tope Con Hilo right into the head of the Monster! Both men fall to the floor as Pentagon Dragon stands up, pounding his chest in success!

Pentagon Dragon reaches under the ring, throwing into the ring a few toys. Amongst them, a stop sign, Fenix’s barbed wire bat, two tables, a chair, a ladder, and a bundle of what looks to be around 10-20 light tubes! Fenix is in the ring, starting to climb to his feet. Pentagon gets a knee on the apron, but Steve is back up. He grabs the top of Pentagon Dragon’s mask, which is ironically similar to Fenix’s design, something Pentagon may not be used to having. Steve rams the back of Dragon’s head into the steel guardrail! Pentagon Dragon falls into a bundle on the ground, clutching his head, while Steve gets into the ring. He picks up the chair, measuring for Fenix to turn around… Fenix turns, right into a steel chair being thrown right into his head! Fenix stumbles back into the corner. Abyss is shown getting up on the outside, rolling into the ring. He grabs a table, setting it up near the corner. He grabs the other, leaning it in the corner to the right of the table. Abyss calls for Steve to throw Fenix, which he obliges. Fenix gets whipped HARD into Abyss, standing right in front of the setup table… BACK BODY DROP! THE HEIGHT! WAIT! Fenix rotates all the way over, landing on his feet on the middle turnbuckle! Abyss got too excited and threw him too hard! Fenix springs off the middle rope, springing to a straddle position on the middle rope, before springing again onto the top rope! He goes FLYING into The Monster for a frankensteiner, but Abyss plants his feet, not moving! Abyss holds Fenix upside down, and Steve slides towards him, face first on the mat, spraying Red Mist right into the face and upper body of Fenix! Abyss pulls Fenix up, while the luchador claws at his face in agony. Abyss lands a SICKENING powerbomb through the table! The Monster goes for the cover! 1...2… No! Fenix is able to kick out and stay alive in this war!

Abyss lifts Fenix up by the scruff of his neck, before calling for Steve. Steve walks over with the ladder dragging behind him. Abyss lands a big right hand to Fenix, slumping him over and laying him down onto the ladder on the ground! Abyss grabs his tag team partner by the throat, lifting Crazzy Steve up into the air and chokeslamming him right down onto the prone body of Fenix! Fenix clutches his stomach, sputtering, as his now stained red mask barely hides the agony on his face. Abyss brings Steve up, and they laugh maniacally with their heads pressed together, a pose we’ve become accustomed to seeing with The Decay. Abyss and Steve are ready to continue their assault, but the crowd pops, as up from behind the apron on the far side of the ring appears Pentagon Dragon. He has a look of pure disdain in his eyes. Pentagon reaches his arm out, grabbing a steady hold of the barbed wire bat, shaking with rage. He climbs in the ring, standing behind Decay. He runs behind Steve, sending the barbed wire bat right into the calf of Crazzy Steve! Steve falls to the ground, screaming in pain as he holds his leg. He rolls out of the ring, as Abyss charges towards Pentagon. He goes for a clothesline, but Dragon ducks! Bat to the bat off Abyss! Abyss falls to his knees in pain, as Pentagon lets go of the bat, IT’S STUCK IN ABYSS’S BACK!

Pentagon grabs him by the hair, pulling the bat out of his shirt and tossing it to the floor. He yanks the hair of The Monster, sending him towards the corner with the table in it. He yells out something in spanish before charging at Abyss, dropkick! Abyss falls, leaning into the table. Pentagon rebounds against the opposite turnbuckle, but Abyss springs out of the corner last second! Belly to Belly suplex through the table! Pentagon shakes in agony as he rolls out of the splintered mess that USED TO be a table! Abyss goes for the cover! 1...2… NO! IN COMES REY FENIX! Springboard Frog Splash breaks up the cover! Abyss sits up, but Fenix hits the rope, running into him La Garra del Fenix (Double Knees) to the seated challenger! Fenix motions for the end, climbing to the top rope. He soars through the air, looking for the patented Fenix Splash! No! Abyss got the knees up! Rey rolls over, gasping for air, as Abyss gets up to his knees. Rey Fenix walks over and hits a stiff kick to the chest of Abyss! Abyss answers back with a forearm to the chest of Fenix, stumbling the luchador back! Fenix answers with a kick again! Abyss goes for the forearm, but Fenix kicks the arm away! He hits a flurry of kicks, before landing another brutal superkick! Fenix hits the ropes, but gets NAILED by Steve with the Stop Sign! “Stop Goes The Fenix!” squeals Josh Mathews from the commentary booth as Crazzy Steve hobbles over, staring at the downed Rey Fenix.

Steve grabs one of the light tubes out of the bundle, and holds it up, licking at it and caressing it. He holds it like a baseball bat, begging for Pentagon to get up! All the while, both Abyss and Fenix roll out of the ring. Pentagon climbs to his knees, exhausted. He dares Steve to bring it, yelling out “¡Dame tu mejor pedazo de mierda!” which pops the spanish speaking minority in the crowd. Steve laughs, turning his back, before using the turn to get the full leverage of a baseball bat swing, exploding the light tube on the head of the luchador! Powder puffs up, as the crowd gasps in worry as Steve now holds a shard of sharp glass! He realizes this, looking at his new shank, as he looks around for guidance as to what to do next. JB claims he’s looking for Rosemary to tell him what to do, while Pope retorts that the best wrestlers remember their coaching and don’t need it “in the field.” Steve looks lost, almost trance like, as he remembers that Rosemary is gone. He snaps out of it, moving towards Pentagon to try and stab him with it, but Pentagon sprays his own red mist, which the commentators sell as blood, as blood is clearly shining down the face of Pentagon through the mask! Steve turns, scratching and clawing at his eyes when Pentagon Dragon grabs him in a pumphandle… PENTAGON DRIVER (pumphandle half nelson driver)!!! Right into the mess that is the center of the ring! Dragon holds the leg and makes the cover! 1...2… NO! Steve wills his shoulder up somehow!

We cut to the outside, where we see Abyss climbing to his feet, with a familiar sight… A small black bag! The crowd audibly “oh’s” as they see the new developments in the ring. Abyss gets up, and drops the bag, as he realizes that he needs to drop Pentagon Dragon. He gets up behind Pentagon who is getting back to his feet - into a Torture Rack… SHOCK TREATMENT! Pentagon rolls around on the ground in agony, while Abyss cackles to himself, holding up the bag. He unties the bag, letting the thumbtacks fall out and spread all across the canvas. We see on the outside, Fenix is not only up, but he’s set up a table that is COVERED in barbed wire! Fenix has some kind of idea, but he quickly sees the trouble that his brother is in! Abyss lifts Pentagon, grabbing him by the throat! Fenix slides into the ring with another trash can lid! He runs over to Abyss, cracking him over the back of the head! Abyss’s head droops down, as Fenix waits for him to fall… HE DOESN’T! Abyss swings his head back to move his hair, revealing a look of sheer rage! Rey Fenix charges at Abyss - BLACK HOLE SLAM ON THE THUMBTACKS! Fenix squirms all over the mat, we hear his screams of pain echo around the Impact Zone while the crowd rings out a “Holy Shit” chant, the third of the night for those keeping score.

Abyss calls for the end of the match, as he plans to do the same to Pentagon Dragon, but suddenly, THE LIGHTS GO OUT! We hear the crowd grow anxious as the few seconds in the dark feels like hours. They come back on, and we have two masked figures, black hoodies and jeans, each with a light tube in their hands standing right behind Abyss! . The taller, lankier one sends a quick shot with the light tube right into the back of the head of The Monster! Abyss stumbles forward, falling on the apron right in front of Fenix’s barbed wire table… The shorter, wider one gets a running start before smashing his over the head of Abyss as well, sending him falled backwards, right through the barbed wire table! The two men exit the ring, grab Crazzy Steve from the outside, and put him back into the ring. The each get a light tube, and place him on their knees. They each do a slit throat taunt, and at the same time swing the tubes, meeting in the middle with a brutal crack! In a puff of smoke lays the unconscious, unmoving, barely breathing Crazzy Steve!

The men lift Pentagon Dragon to his feet and leave the ring, exiting through the crowd. Pentagon is clearly still out of it, out on his feet in the corner. Rey Fenix gets up into the ring, still staggering, with his back shimmering full of tacks. He realizes the situation, and he grabs the face of his brother, yelling to wake him up. Pentagon seemingly comes too and sees himself that they could end it here. Pentagon yells instructions to Rey, as he grabs Steve by the hair, pulling him into the corner. Pentagon sits on the top rope, bringing Steve up to the middle rope, as Fenix sets a bundle of around 10-15 light tubes on the ground. Pentagon butterflies the arms, and the crowd seemingly can’t believe what they’re about to see… PACKAGE PILEDRIVER INTO THE LIGHT TUBES FROM ALL THE WAY UP TOP!!! In a cloud of smoke, with blood coming out of his upper body and surrounded by broken glass, Steve isn’t moving. Mathews calls this attempted murder, and shockingly, none of the other commentators are arguing! Pentagon and Fenix each make the cover, each hooking a leg! 1…2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Super Package Piledriver Into A Bundle of Light Tubes), And Still Impact Tag Team Champions, Lucha Brothers!
    Match Length: 18:33

The Lucha Brothers fall to their knees, crying together as they’re handed their championships. He stand tall, smacking the titles as the camera shows the chaos and destruction left in their wake. Mathews calls them disgraces as they had “Help” to win, but JB questions if either of them knew what happened, Pope suggests that Pentagon was out and thought Fenix dropped the Decay, and if Fenix thought the opposite! Either way, the champions retained here tonight against a huge challenge!

A pre-recorded video is shown of Jeff Jarrett, thanking the fans for tuning in tonight. He says we are in a transition period that will be ended soon, and as soon as our transition is through, we’re going to have a HUGE boom in business, and you can bet on that!
    Dave Penzer:
The following contest is a 10 Man Tag Team Match, where the winning Team Captain will be FIRED from their commentary position!

Mathews and JB both leave their commentary positions and go to ringside as their teams make their entrances.

    ***Power Of Mexico***
Team JB (Led To The Ring By Alberto El Patron)

Team Borash makes their way to the ring, as JB claps from ringside, very confident in their picks. Suicide stalks down, avoiding contact with his partners, but who could blame him in this Motley Crew? DJZ slaps hands with fans, while Joey Ryan lubes himself up. El Patron starts some “Si! Si! Si!” chants, while Magnus stands in the center of the ring, holding up his GFW Global Championship. These men may be very different, but if they can work together, they could be VERY successful.

    ***Longnecks & Rednecks***
Team Mathews (Led To The Ring By James Storm)

Out from behind the curtain marches a pissed off James Storm, after losing his stable earlier tonight, and Eli Drake with Tyrus in tow. However, they’re missing ⅗ of their team, which clearly has Mathews worried. They all get to the ring, and Mathews starts asking where LAX are -

    ***5150***
    Latin American Xchange

From the back of the arena, through huge doors march out Impact’s resident gangbangers, LAX! Konnan has a mic, and is followed by the competitors in this match, Homicide, Santana, and Ortiz, as well as Diamante and new Knockout’s Champion, Ivelisse Velez, with her title around her waist. Konnan starts to talk as the music slows down.

    Konnan:
ORALE! ORALE! Listen up, white meat! Yeah, Mathews, I’m talking to your punk ass! We may be “representing you”, but make no mistake, we don’t give a damn about you or your team! We come out when we want, with who we want, gringo! We are here to prove that latinos y latinas are THE elite athletes in this business. We did it earlier tonight when that Baddest Bitch In This Business won the Knockout’s strap! And we’ll prove it again tonight when LAX stomps out those cabrons in the middle of the ring! Not because we care about you, not because we want to be a team with you two bendejos in the ring! But because we’re here to prove that LAX is serious, like a late period, and there’s three of us here, call it an ellipsis! Arriba La Razaaaaaaaaaa!

Konnan tosses the mic and LAX charges the ring! A HUGE brawl breaks out amongst the teams!

    *Losing Captain Is Fired*
    Ten Man Tag Team Match:

Team JB (DJZ, Joey Ryan, Suicide, Alberto El Patron, and Magnus) w/ Jeremy Borash vs Team Mathews (Eli Drake, James Storm, and L.A.X.) w/ Josh Mathews, Tyrus, Diamante, Ivelisse Velez & Konnan

The bell rings in confusion, but there is a flurry of bodies everywhere! LAX is brawling with DJ Z, Alberto El Patron, and Magnus! Meanwhile E-Li Drake is trading chops in the corner with Joey Ryan, and Suicide is getting choked out by James Storm! Referee Slick Johnson eventually, somehow, gains control of the situation, and sends all illegal competitors into their corner. The two men officially starting the match will be L.A.X.’s Homicide, and DJ Z. Homicide grabs DJ Z by the hair, forcing him into the turnbuckle. Homicide pounds away as Johnson counts to 4, before he has to physically pull him off Zema. As Johnson is preoccupied, Santana and Ortiz land kicks to the back from the apron, as Mathews celebrates from the outside. Homicide pulls DJ Z into the center of the ring for a cover! 1...2… Kick out! Homicide pulls him into a headlock, trying to wear down DJZ. After around 30 seconds, JB helps start a slow clap that builds and builds, empowering DJZ to get to his feet. Z climbs up using his low center of gravity to shove Homicide into the ropes and push him off, while Suicide tags himself in. DJZ drops down in front of Homicide, making him leapfrog while Suicide lands a brutal double stomp to the chest!

Suicide taunts to the crowd, with a pistol hand being held to his head, with his other hand on the side of his head. Homicide stumbles to the corner and tags out to Santana. Santana comes in, running into the ring. Suicide ducks a clothesline, charging into Santana and lands a brutal dropkick into the chest cavity, sending Santana HARD into the buckle! Suicide runs, landing a big time enziguiri into the face of Santana as he tosses Santana to the mat, climbing onto the apron. Springboard, through the air goes Suicide, 450! Hard landing for the masked sensation, as he hooks both legs! 1...2… Kick out! Santana quickly crawls to the corner and tags out to Ortiz! Suicide stalks around the ring, as he is asked to tag out, which he gives to Joey Ryan. Ryan gets in the ring, circling around with Ortiz. Ortiz shoots in, and gets a rear waist lock, but he can’t get a solid grip - Ryan’s too slippery! Joey Ryan sees the disgusted look on the face of Ortiz, before Ortiz goes for a lariat, ducked. Ryan lands a big superkick, dropping Ortiz onto his back! Ryan grabs a quick cover! 1...2… Kick out!

Ryan grabs him by the head, pulling him into the corner, and tags out to Magnus. Magnus climbs the top rope, as Joey Ryan snapmares him to a seated position into a high elevation elbow drop from the GFW Champion! Joey Ryan gets out of the ring while Magnus makes another cover! 1...2… No! Ortiz kicks out! Diamante hops up on the apron, while Ivelisse slides her championship belt into the ring. Ortiz has the Knockout’s Championship, while Magnus yells for Diamante to get down. He turns around, right into a championship to the face! Ortiz tosses the championship out of the ring to Konnan, while Ortiz hooks the inside leg! Johnson slides into the cover! 1...2… NO! Magnus swings his leg over, placing his foot on the bottom rope and staying alive in this match! Eli Drake and James Storm demand the tag, but Ortiz ignores them, tagging in to Homicide! He has Magnus in a front facelock, leaving Magnus open for a stiff gut kick from Homicide.

Magnus falls down, crawling into the corner. Homicide gets into the corner, stomping away yet again. He gets backed up by the referee, and while he’s being spoken to, Diamante slaps Magnus upside the head! Team JB starts yelling at Johnson to pay attention to LAX at ringside, and Johnson walks over, giving a “final warning” to LAX on the outside. Homicide comes over, ready to tag to Santana, but Eli Drake steals the tag, climbing into the ring while Homicide looks enraged. Eli Drake points to the corner yelling, “You’re out, dummy! It’s time for E-Li Drake!” Homicide gets in his corner. Eli Drake lands a stomp onto the hand of Magnus, while he was trying to crawl to his corner. Eli Drake lifts him up, picking up Magnus and hooking up a snap suplex, float over into the cover! 1...2… Kick out! Eli Drake applies a tight headlock, yelling out to the crowd as he wrenches away on the GFW Champion. After around 30-45 seconds, Magnus starts to fight up to his feet. He shoves Eli off the ropes, but this time, it’s Team Mathews that could get the tag, while James Storm gets the tag in! Eli comes off the ropes and gets nailed with a dropkick from Magnus. He gets up and starts stumbling to his corner, only to get chop blocked by Storm!

LAX starts yelling that they want a tag, but Storm turns and spits in their direction! Storm takes Magnus into the corner, getting a loud trio of chops to the chest. Storm takes him out of the corner, hitting the ropes, while Magnus is doubled over, lungblower! Diamante jumps up on the apron again! Ortiz comes in with a slapstick in his hand! Johnson is distracted, and so is Storm! Storm’s yelling for Diamante to go back off the apron! Ortiz runs and swings for the fences, but Magnus ducks! CRACK! RIGHT INTO THE SKULL OF THE COWBOY! James Storm collapses, as Ortiz realizes what he just did, meanwhile Slick Johnson is making the call, EJECTING Konnan, Diamante and Ivelisse! Konnan can be heard yelling “Hell no! We go, we all go!” But Johnson won’t change his mind, calling for them to leave ringside. Konnan shrugs his shoulder, and flips Josh Mathews off! He motions to the back! He, Diamante and Ivelisse leave… BUT THE REST OF LAX ARE FOLLOWING! Homicide, Santana, and Ortiz are all heading out, leaving Josh at a HUGE disadvantage.

Mathews is throwing a temper tantrum on the outside, as both legal men are crawling, trying to get the tag. They both dive, AND BOTH MAKE IT! In comes Eli Drake! In comes Alberto El Patron! Drake gets hit with a clothesline! Another one! Drake gets up, trying to clothesline Alberto, who ducks it himself! Drake hits the ropes and gets PLANTED with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Cover! 1...2… No! Kick out from Drake! Drake gets up, into the corner, and El Patron whistles loudly to the crowd…. ENZIGUIRI! Drake falls hard into the ground, while Alberto calls for the end, yelling out “Si! Si! Si!” Drake crawls to his knees, SUPERKICK! NO! Storm dove into the way, taking the hit for his team mate! El Patron stares down at James in shock! Drake stacks him up from behind! 1… DRAKE HAS THE TIGHTS! 2…. KICK OUT FROM EL PATRON! The momentum of the kick sends Drake into JB’s corner, where Suicide lands a pendulum kick over the top rope, right between the eyes! Eli stumbles, falling into the clutches of Alberto… CROSS ARMBREAKER!! El Patron is wrenching, and pulling, and tearing, and Eli Drake has no choice but to tap out!!!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Submission (Cross Armbreaker from Alberto El Patron), Team JB! Josh Mathews is FIRED!
    Match Length: 12:11

Team JB celebrates in the ring while Josh Mathews throws a temper tantrum, taking a headset and saying Impact’s ratings will plummet without him. He says he held this company on his back and it isn’t going anywhere without him behind this desk - He gets cut off though, because security comes and takes him from the table. The men carry him, kicking and screaming from the Impact Zone while the crowd sings, “Na Na Na Nah, Hey Hey Hey, Gooodbyyyeeeee!” To their “beloved” former lead announcer.

We see an announcement from Jeff Jarrett’s official twitter that there will be a FaceBook Live press conference after the show with the winners of each match, hearing the immediate thoughts of the winners.
We see Bobby Lashley training in MMA, with his Impact World Title on his bags. We hear his voice over his sparring.

    Lashley:
There’s just, so many people who think they’re tough guys. The fact of the matter is, when you’re in the ring with me… You’re just a guy.

We see Lashley plowing through former challengers.

    Lashley:
You see, in professional wrestling, it’s fine if you’re good on the indies. People will love you, people will see you, that’s fine. That’s good. Just don’t come in here and expect that same success.

We see Jay Lethal making his grand return to Impact, landing a Lethal Injection to Lashley!

    Lashley:
You see, Jay Lethal likes to think that he’s great because he was champion in Ring of Honor for a couple years. Yeah, that’s all well and good. But you haven’t beaten me.

We see Jay Lethal’s ROH highlights, with his voice over.

    Jay Lethal:
I am the greatest first generation wrestler of all time! I am this business! I AM THE BEST!

    *Record Scratch*

    Lashley:
Except, you aren’t. Here’s a stat. Every time me and him have been in the same ring, fair face to face, I’ve dropped him. Plain and simple. And you wanna add EC3? I say the more the merrier. I’ll end them both at the same damn time.

    “Ladies and gentlemen, E….C….3!”

EC3 highlights are shown while he speaks.

    Ethan Carter III:
I am the diamond in the rough of this damn company! I am the next best thing to grace this ring! I will walk into Victory Road a challenger, but I will LEAVE an E-C-3 Time Champ! Because I’m a Carter, this company needs me.

    Lashley:
Except, we don’t. You’ve challenge me before 1 on 1, and you lost. And Sunday, it’s gonna be the same.

We hard cut to all three men fighting during the handicap match on Impact, as we hear the PPV theme over it. We see highlights going into the match -

    “LETHAL INJECTION TO LASHLEY!”

    Jay Lethal:
Victory Road is MY Golden Day!

    “ONE PERCENTER! EC3 NAILED HIM!”

    Ethan Carter III:
Victory Road is MY Golden Day!

We see Lashley spearing both men, standing tall on Impact weeks ago.

    Lashley:
*Chuckles* For me? Victory Road is just another day.

We cut back to the Impact Zone where we see Jeremy Borash in the center of the ring with a microphone.

    ***Lethal X***
    Jay Lethal

Coming down the ramp, one of the challengers makes his presence felt, wearing the same black and red gear he won his first world championship in during his Ring of Honor career. He climbs in the ring, holding up two fingers, as he wants his second world title tonight.

    ***Trouble***
    Ethan Carter III

EC3 doesn’t spare any expense, coming down to the ring in a gold and white attire, wearing a long golden rope, “Flair-esque” as Pope calls it. He climbs into the ring, holding up his signature hand sign, as he plans to be an E-C-3 time champion after this 3 Way Dance.

    ***Fire & Brimstone***
    Impact World Champion - Lashley

Here comes Walking Armageddon. In his regular black trunks and black headband, he wasn’t kidding when he said tonight was just another night for him. Lashley gets into the ring, championship over his shoulder, brimming with confidence.

    Jeremy Borash:
Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, is your MAIN EVENT of the evening! When the action begins, your referee in charge, Senior Official, Earl Hebner! The following, is a THREE WAY DANCE for the Impact World Championship! In this match, elimination rules apply, the last man remaining after both eliminations will be named the Impact World Champion!

Earl Hebner takes the championship from Lashley revealing the new title while JB does the announcements, holding up the title to all sides as we prepare to get underway!

    Impact World Championship
    *MAIN EVENT*
    Three Way Dance:

Ethan Carter III vs Jay Lethal vs Lashley[C]

Carter and Lethal start inching towards the center, keeping their arms out to measure the distance between either side’s competitors. Lashley shrugs and walks to the middle of the ring. He dares whoever wants to to take the first shot. EC3 and Lethal look at each other. Lethal, perhaps with the confidence that he and Lashey have never fought, takes the champ up on that offer. He dives to Lashley, going for a double leg takedown. Lashley sits down, grabbing Lethal by the waist a TOSSING HIM high into the air, as Lethal crashes into the ground, sending him rolling out of the ring. Lethal grabs the small of his back, while Ethan Carter III laughs. Lethal yells at EC3, “Why don’t you do something, huh?!” EC3 shrugs, then turns to Lashley! SPEAR! Lashley turns to Lethal, inviting him into the ring, which Lethal declines. Lashley goes for the cover! 1...2… No! Carter kicked out, but he’s still holding his ribs and sputtering.

Lethal gets into the ring, and slows down his approach, while it’s EC3’s turn to roll out of the ring. He walks up to Lashley, going for a lock up. The two lock horns, and Lashley uses his raw power to chuck Jay Lethal across the ring, Lethal rolling back onto his knees. Lashley flexes for the audience, who drown him in boos. Lashley turns to the audience, and goes to the middle rope. Lethal sees an opening, kicking Lashley’s leg out from under him! The big man crashes and burns onto the ground, grabbing the back of his head in pain. He gets to his knees, only to get nailed with a Shining Wizard by Jay Lethal! Cover! 1...2… No! Kick out! Lashley powers up to his knees, while Lethal keeps a front facelock applied. He lifts Lethal up in spinebuster position, swinging Jay up, but EC3 comes back with a dropkick to the knee, allowing Jay Lethal to use the momentum to swing into the DDT! Lashley lands HARD on his head! Cover from EC3! 1...2… No?! Lethal pulls him off! Lethal goes for the cover! 1...2… No! EC3 pulls him off!

Borash claims it’s a rookie mistake, as this is elimination, but Pope gives a wrestler’s point of view on it. “If you eliminate the champ, you’re a legit champ when you win. If you let someone else do it, daddeh, you just takin’ someone else’s hard work.” Which, while could be true, still won’t guarantee a win! Lashley rolls out of the ring, while EC3 and Lethal argue. EC3 shoves Jay Lethal, who responds with a shove of his own! The two men lock up, both very competitively jocking for position. EC3 gets the headlock, taking Jay over into the ground, maintaining the headlock. Lethal goes to try and trap Carter in the headscissors, slapping at EC3’s side in the process. Carter sees the headscissor, moving into it and jack knifing over into the cover! 1...2… No! Lethal bridges up and out, turning into a backslide attempt. Carter ducks forward, bringing Lethal over his back, and they’re face to face. Lethal lunges forward, grabbing a headlock, taking Carter to the mat this time. EC3 now is the one who pulls in Jay Lethal into a head scissor. Lethal postures up, with a head stand, he swings landing his feet on EC3’s left, swings to the right, loosening it up enough to pull his head out… And slap the taste out of Ethan Carter III’s mouth!

EC3 falls back holding his face, and Jay grabs his foot, swinging him back over and around, taking EC3 to his feet. Lethal runs the ropes, landing a front dropkick to the chest of EC3, sending Carter stumbles back. Lethal motions for an early end, going for the Lethal Injection?! Front Handspring - BUT EC3 RUNS UP, PUNTING HIS ARM OUT FROM UNDER HIM! Jay yells out in pain, clutching his left forearm that EC3 just brutally kicked. Carter pulls it up in a key lock on top of Jay’s head, wrenching away on the arm. Commentary reminds us, taking away that arm neutralises both major moves in Lethal’s arsenal, both the Hail To The King Elbow Drop, and makes him unable to get a front handspring the land the Lethal Injection. EC3 pulls and tears back on the arm, doing his best to weaken the joint of Lethal passed the point of no return. Lethal scoots himself, extending his lower half, before finally being able to wrap his legs around the bottom rope, forcing a break. JB reminds us that a disqualification can occur in this match, because it is elimination! EC3 releases his grip, and Lashley slides back into the ring, grabbing EC3 in a rear waistlock… GERMAN SUPLEX! Carter rolls across the ring, as Lethal gets up in a turnbuckle, Carter does the same on the opposite side.

Lashley lets out a yell as he charges Lethal for a bit clothesline! He puts his back to Lethal, looking across the six sides before charging another clothesline, this time into Ethan Carter III! Lashley turns, catching his breath, before charging into Jay again - side stepped! Lashley crashes hard into the corner, as Lethal takes off running at EC3 - dropkick! He turns, sprinting to Lashley - knife edge chop to the chest! Jay Lethal turns once more for a splash to Carter - who takes HIS turn to step out of the way! Lethal hits the turnbuckle hard, while Carter runs to Lashley hitting a stiff clothesline! He holds onto Lashley’s head, as he sees Lethal already stumbling out of the corner. EC3 puts the current champion into a headlock, taking off running at Lethal before he drops both men - clothesline/bulldog combination! EC3 stands up letting out a wild yell before he holds up his hand sign, stalking for Walking Armageddon to get to his feet. Lashley uses the ropes to get up, stumbling up to his feet. Ethan Carter III jumps up to his feet, as we see Lethal pulling himself up to his feet as well behind him. Carter grabs Lashley in a headlock, swinging the foot up, and before Carter can plant the champion, Lashley stomps down on the foot! Lashley lands a stiff shot to the ribs, falling back into the ropes as he sends Carter stumbling away - RIGHT INTO A LETHAL INJECTION! We get a replay of Lethal doing the front hand spring set up right into the move, with perfect timing! Cover from Jay Lethal, hooking both legs! 1...2...3!

Ethan Carter III has been eliminated!

Lethal stays down on the canvas, looking up at the lights. In any normal three way, he’d be the new champion right now. But no. That’s not the reality, the reality is, now Jay Lethal has to go face to face with Walking Armageddon. He has to go face to face with the Destroyer. Worst of all, he has to go face to face with Bobby Lashley. Lethal swings over, crawling up to his knees and looking at Lashley in the corner. Lethal gets to his feet and he steps up, walking up to Lashley and staring into his eyes as we see the size difference between the two. Lashley laughs in his face, daring him to bring his best, as he shoves hard into the chest of Jay Lethal. Lethal falls back, firing up and looking right in the face of Lashley. Lashley grabs him by the scruff of the neck, throwing him hard into the ropes. Lethal ducks a clothesline. Jay slows to a walk as he reaches the champ, who turns right into a slap right in the face from his challenger!

Lashley’s eyes light up with anger, as Lethal dares him to bring it on. Lashley lunges forward for a lariat, but it gets ducked! Chop to the chest from Lethal! Another one! Lethal hits the ropes, getting hit with a big boot from the Destroyer! Lethal pops up off the mat, staggering around, holding his head, as Lashley holds his head, hitting an elbow! Lethal absorbs the blow, turning right into a chop across the chest! Lashley takes a deep breath, holding his chest. He lands an over head chop right to the head of Lethal! The sound echoes around the Impact Zone, while Lethal gets jelly legged. He lets out a defiant yell, landing a loud chop! Another one! Another one! Lashley falls forward, leaning over with his elbows on his knees. Lethal yells out to the crowd, as he motions for the Lethal Injection… Handspring! BOOT TO THE SPINE! Lashley got his foot up, planting it between the shoulder blades! We get a slow motion replay where we see Jay Lethal’s head whiplash backwards off the impact of the kick.

Lashley picks Lethal up, yelling in his face before he spits on his hand… OVERHEAD CHOP THAT RINGS THROUGH THE ARENA! The crowd lets out a sigh of what must be worry, as they hear the gruesome strike from the champion. Jay falls to his knees, his head down. Lashley calls for the end, running the ropes - ENZIGUIRI FROM LETHAL! Lashley falls down in a heap, as Lethal swiftly climbs to the top, likely all from muscle memory. He stands atop the buckle, gazing out to the masses cheering him on. He’s ready. It’s finally his time. Lethal points to the heavens, acknowledging the greats that made this possible, as he SOARS off the top rope for the Hail To The King elbow drop! The crowd pops as he crawls into a cover, hooking the outside leg! 1...2...3!!!

    Spoiler:

NO! Lashley got his foot on the bottom rope! We get a replay, and almost exactly at the same time as Hebner’s hand hits the mat, he notices that Lashley has hit foot on the rope! Lethal doesn’t see this, he’s on the ground crying. Hebner is explaining to the timekeeper that the match will continue, but Lethal has absolutely no idea! Lethal gets up, yelling out to the heavens, as he climbs the turnbuckle away from the video wall, raising his hands. He wipes his eyes and opens them, to see an Impact audience chanting “No!” with multiple telling him to turn around. He looks confused, as he hops down, looking for Hebner to talk to - SPEAR! Lashley caught him with his guards down! He drags Lethal into the center of the ring! Hooking both legs! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Spear), And Still Impact World Champion, Lashley!
    Match Length: 16:48

Lashley stands up, as his theme music plays signaling his retention. The crowd drowns him in boos, with a “We Want Lethal” chant, despite the man being down and out on the ground. The new championship belt is gifted to Walking Armageddon and he holds it high. We get a final shot of Lethal, sitting on the outside of the ring, head in his hands as he sobs, while Lashley stands in the ring just behind him, holding the title high to put an exclamation point on the end of a VERY eventful night for Impact Wrestling.

    Re: Saving Impact Wrestling

As most people have come to know I don't give full on reviews but, I do leave rep comments and occasionally leave a post here and there, I'll give you both here. I think you've done a pretty good job of capturing Impact here and are definitely making the right moves in putting out a consistent solid product and working with what you have (which tbf is a talented as hell roster). Victory Road I thought was a good event, each match had a purpose and the way you managed to capture the characters was well done. I'm excited to see what you do with Cody and equally as excited to see what direction you go with Bobby Lashley. I hope we still get to see some Josh Matthews though.

Formatting I like, it's somewhat old school but looks sleek at the same time. Normally I really don't like the use of the wrestler images like the ones you have but they worked well with the overall presentation so brownie points to you.

Going forward, I'm hoping you stick within some realistic parameters and don't say suddenly bring back AJ Styles (an eventual return would obviously do wonders for Impact but they're way way way off that happening)

Overall, solid stuff, enjoyable and easy to read, keep it up.

    Impact Wrestling Observer Report

    Impact Wrestling News Dump!

    - Impact Wrestling, off the heels of a widely successful return to pay-per view, are looking to make some big shakeups in the wrestling world. A lot of new information has come to light about the promotion recently, which is why they get their very own report. First things are first, the talent is trusting of Anthem in the executive role for the company, perhaps more than they were for any previous owner. People are being paid on time (sometimes a day or two in advance) for their dates, with the taping schedule giving sufficient time for them to relax, and constant meetings between writers and talents to understand/help flourish their characters, all of which are factors that people are listing in why there are getting to be more and more people who are considering signing exclusively with Impact Wrestling.

    - Speaking of exclusively signing, Impact has apparently been stepping in between some negotiations between WWE and independent stars, most notably the three stars; Adam Cole, Lio Rush, and Impact's own Rosemary. Impact having Anthem as their backing force has allowed them to be able to add way more financial muscle to negotiations, which they're trying to use sparingly. People like Rosemary, Lethal, and EC3 seem to be essential for their future plans for the company. Meanwhile, WWE has moved in on trying to sign three Impact talents, that Anthem is apparently not attempting to make any effort to stop;

Mahabali Shera - As WWE is trying to expand their brand into the Indian market in the near future
Crazzy Steve - For the 205 Live/NXT area, this could have been made clear by Impact seemingly writing him off on Sunday.
Moose - This one WWE and Impact are bidding for, but Impact apparently doesn't see it as an investment that could make a future main eventer as of now.

    - Also in the interest of the future is that, with Jeff Jarrett coming into the company, he brought in with him all of the Global Force Wrestling trademarks and championships. Currently, Impact is considering doing a merger between the two, with bringing GFW to name the overarching promotion. They're moving very slow and cautiously with this transition, as they just changed to officially be Impact Wrestling, and while some are justifying that it was a short transition period between big eras, others don't want to turn off fans and seem flaky. The thought is they don't want to be seen as competition to the WWE, at least, not alone. Impact officials are making moves and partnership across the entire world, and seemingly are helping gain exposure globally for huge talents. They've gone on record saying that a monopoly on wrestling is not the way to go, and are showing their beliefs in this by helping NJPW start their US expansion. People believe that the change to GFW could also get them back to major television, as the old acronym has a bad taste in people's mouths. The only issue with the GFW brand is that it was almost a period scheme by Jeff Jarrett, or that's at least how some saw it. The fact that Jarrett's only hand in the company currently is creative seems to be the reason this is not a huge concern.

    - There are also some injuries in the company following the Victory Road pay-per view. Rosemary legitimately fractured her hand during her elimination. She was supposed to be out anyway with a worked knee injury, which is why she was helped to the back, but it turns out she was legitimately injured. Originally, it would spark Awesome Kong's retirement storyline, leading to a match between the two. However, now, it seems that it will need to be put off if not cancelled altogether. World Champion, Lashley, also got hurt the day of the event, spraining his ankle during light training in the morning. Many speculate this is why the main event felt rushed in the end, with him very little getting involved when able to be avoided. Lashley likely won't miss any in ring time, and he will be able to avoid full speed action until Against All Odds. The final injury was for Abyss, who needed multiple stitches in his shoulder blade after getting the barbed wire bat legitimately stuck in his back. Rey Fenix supposedly apologized profusely, which was accepted by Abyss and there are no hard feelings, but it's believed Abyss is stepping out of the ring and moving to a part time schedule. Where this leaves Decay, with Rosemary and Abyss injured, and Steve possibly leaving the company, is yet to be seen.

    Re: Saving Impact Wrestling

Overall enjoyed REALLY enjoyed the PPV. Loved the entire layout and I may be stealing a thing or two from you in the way you finish your matches. I was a little bummed to see Rosemary lose and see she may be out of storylines now after that news report, but loved all the women involved in the match! Great booking and great writing...I will be reading from now on.

    Re: Saving Impact Wrestling

    Victory Road 2017 Review

    What I Thought Was Awesome:

Eddie Edwards versus Davey Richards - With Impact/GFW in real life, my favorite storyline this year has been Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards. It was some great story telling and I found it different for a typical former tag team break up storyline. This non-sactioned match was a great addition to the feud that was already full of bad blood. One thing I was extremely fond of was the use of Angelina Love throughout this match. She felt like an integral part of the match at times where I feel like it would have lacked something if she was not apart of it. The moments of Eddie being cuffed to the ropes, Richards punishing him, Edwards not backing down, and Alisha looking like a badass saving her husband. The ending was most definitely the moment of the night. I hope this feud is not over and you have a plan to extend this to Slammiversary for one big final match.

    Riddle's In Ring Debut -
Self-explanatory. A quick victory for Riddle's in ring debut leads me to believe you have big plans for him. I am a huge fan and it looks like it will finally end the Allie and Laurel Van Ness story.

    What I Liked:

    The KOs Invitational -
I'm a fan of this match for a variety of reasons. First things first, as she is my favorite woman in the company (minus Gail Kim), I approve of how you handled the elimination of Rosemary. She had to lose the championship at one point or another, so it was a different way to get the strap off of her and it worked well. I liked the wide variety of women in this match between current knockouts, former knockouts, and new potential knockouts. I will campaign for Candice LeRae and Melissa Flash to be official members of the roster. When it comes to the winner, it captures my interest because I still feel like Ivelisse is a mystery to the audience. Konnan introduced her well, but it's still intriguing to have her be the champion still new to the company.

    World Title Triple Threat -
I love elimination triple threat, fatal four ways, etc. I feel like you get more stories out of an elimination style bout versus a usual style of the match up. After a usual triple threat, I was glad Ethan Carter III was the first eliminated. We have seen him and Lashley before, and a taste of Jay Lethal and Lashley was entertaining. I think Lethal is the best option to become the next champion as he should have been his last run through the company. Soooo I popped huge then that damn spoiler tag. In the end, Lashley and Jay Lethal meeting in a full one on one match should be a hoot as I can't see this ending just yet.

    Somethings To Consider:

More Time for the X-Division -
I understand that not every match can be twenty minutes long, but I wish we would have seen more from the X-Division tonight. They are what got me into TNA in the first place, and it sucks how the division has stumbled these past few years. I hope you have plans to slowly fix them to make the championship worth something again.

    Impact Wrestling 3/30/17

    Impact Wrestling
    3/30/17
    Impact Zone in Orlando, FL
Announcers: Jeremy Borash and The Pope

    Dark Matches:
War Machine defeat The Ugly Ducklings via Pinfall with a Fall Out in 3:04.
Magnus defeats Suicide via Pinfall with a Tormentum in 12:30.
Eli Drake defeats Mahabali Shera via Pinfall with an Inside Cradle in 7:00.

We see still shots of this past Sunday at Victory Road, where we saw the return of Impact Wrestling to pay-per view, using the Fite Network App. We see some shots of the Monster’s Ball with commentary going wild, we see a picture of shock as Josh Mathews loses his job, as we see Lashley standing tall with his new championship belt, while Jay Lethal sits with his head in his hands on the ground.

    ***Change***
    Impact Intro

We pan out over the crowd as we are ready to get underway with the first episode of Impact post-Victory Road!

    ***Lethal X***
    Jay Lethal

The video wall washes over in red, as we hear an ovation for the warrior that had his Cinderella moment strike midnight before he could taste victory. We pan across the crowd, going up the ramp until we go up to him, from his feet to his face, showing off a tailored Ralph Lauren suit, with aviators on as he enters the Impact Zone. Lethal looks all business, as he makes his way down to the ring, getting a microphone from a stage hand. Lethal gets into the center of the ring, about to talk before the crowd chants, “Let’s Go Lethal!” to Jay, showing their appreciation of his effort last night. Jay Lethal takes off his sunglasses, putting them in his jacket pocket. He motions for the crowd to calm down as he goes to speak.

Jay Lethal: Listen, listen, listen. While I appreciate the support, I want to get something off of my chest. This past Sunday, one thing got proved. I proved that, when all is said and done, I can put away some of the top talent in this industry. Ethan Carter felt that first and foremost when I stepped in the ring and dropped him, eliminating him. Any other match in any other company, that makes me the new champion. However, on Sunday, that isn’t what happened. So what I want, is what I deserve. I want the one on one match that I earned when I beat EC3 last night. I want the shot I deserve to PROVE that I am the champion of all of you fans here, regardless where the championship for this company lies.

    ***Fire & Brimstone***
    Impact World Champion - Lashley

From the locker room marches the devastating force that is our World Champion, Walking Armageddon, this is Lashley. Wearing a Bellator shirt, a ball cap, and jeans, out walks Lashley, with the gorgeous new World Championship draped over his shoulder. He laughs as he saunters down to the ring, grabbing a microphone as he gets in the ring. Lethal steps face to face with Lashley as he smiles, ready to talk.

Lashley: Look, Jay. You’ve got a lot of heart, I’ll give you that, but you need to relax with this “champion of the fans” thing. When it comes down to it, you lost, just like EC3 did.

Jay Lethal: You say that, but you -

Lashley: You got pinned. There’s no way around it. I don’t care that you didn’t get a one on one shot, I pinned you to the ground, and that means you move to the back of the line.

Jay Lethal: LISTEN TO ME! You intervened in my only SHOT at a one on one match, I pinned EC3, and I had you BEAT last Sunday. So I am not asking. I am telling you, if you consider yourself a real champion, you give me a shot to prove myself damn it! You let me -

    ***Eyes of The Hunter***
    Natural Born Killers

Out from the back emerges the #1 Contender for the World Championship, Davey Richards! He makes his way down the ramp, slowly and calculated, with Angelina Love following behind, a cold stare in the ring. Richards is wearing black jeans and a “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards shirt, splattered with what looks to be blood. Davey gets in the ring with no hesitation before stepping forward quickly, bumping chests with Lethal as Lethal starts yelling in his face. Davey starts breathing heavily and shaking while Love yells behind him, laughing.

    ???: HEY! HEY!

We look to the video wall, as Commissioner Jeff Jarrett appears.

Jeff Jarrett: Look, we’re calming this down right now you got it?! Here’s what’s happening. Jay, I’m sorry but Davey Richards is the Number 1 Contender, and he will be challenging for the Impact World Championship in the main event of Against All Odds. However, there are some big movements happening around the company that you might be able to be apart of. That will be a huge announcement coming next week. As for tonight, you all will be getting in the ring. We are going to have Davey Richards team up with Lashley to go against Jay Lethal and Ethan Carter III. Now I need you all to head to the back so we can get this show underway!

Jay looks furious while Love smirks. Lethal climbs out while Lashley and Richards stare down until we fade to break.

    Commercial Break
    Singles Match:

    Bram vs Kingston

    Final Moments:

Kingston runs at Bram in the corner, letting out a yell of rage as he goes for a lariat, ducked! Kingston drills his own head in the corner, letting his anger get the better of him. Bram grabs Kingston from behind, sending him hard into the canvas with a german suplex! Bram yells at Kingston while he’s down, telling him he should’ve stayed down after “your s*** act on Sunday!” JB calls that unfair, saying Bram had just as much of a hand in losing as Kingston did, but Pope told him that when you’re a competitor, unless you’re beaten, you don’t want to admit you lost. Bram dares Kingston to his feet, as the Chesterfield Plague pulls down his right elbow pad. He yells to Kingston to get up to his feet. The Last of a Dying Breed staggers up, grabbing at his eye, before getting CLOBBERED with an elbow to the back of the skull! Kingston crumples to his knees as Bram lifts him up… BRIGHTER SIDE OF SUFFERING (lifting DDT)! Bram hooks the legs, starring daggers into the eyes of his former team mate. 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (The Brighter Side of Suffering), Bram!
    Match Length: 5:03
    Road Agent Notes:
Kingston came out mad, yelling a lot almost randomly to the audience. Through out the match, he looked lost a lot of the time. He would often get too distracted, or even too aggressive, giving Bram the edge in the most of this match.

After the match, Kingston sits up, looking depressed. JB asked what could be next for the career of Eddie Kingston, before he gets up. Security is trying to get him to leave so that we can continue the show, but Kingston doesn’t move. He stands in his place, before a security guard tries pushing him out, which snaps Kingston. Eddie grabs the man by the shirt, pulling him down and cracking him with a knee to the jaw! The other two guards look shocked for a second before they charge, trying to take him down. Kingston lands a kick below the belt to one, dropping him where he stands! The other tries to wrap his arm around Kingston’s neck, but Eddie ducks down, tossing him over. The guard gets up - BACKFIST TO THE CHIN! The guard goes down in a heap. Kingston takes a deep breath as more security floods the ring. They tackle him to the ground, as he yells expletives, and we cut away quickly as it gets ugly.

We see Allie taping up her wrists, with a look of terror on her face. She has some friends from outside the wrestling business talking her up, but Allie is absolutely in another world right now.
    Commercial Break
    Singles Match:

    Tessa Blanchard vs Candice LeRae

    Final Moments:

Candice LeRae gets sent off the ropes by the Carolina Queen. Candice whips her legs up, taking Blanchard across the ring with a headscissors take down. Blanchard rolls over to her feet, charging at Candice Wrestling… Drop toe hold sends Tessa face first into the middle turnbuckle. Candice hits the ropes, landing a hesitation dropkick to the back of Blanchard’s head, sending the third generation star to the ground. Candice LeRae motions for the end of the match, lifting her to her feet before lifting Tessa off the ground for the Heart Breaker (modified Gory Bomb)! Cover from LeRae! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Heart Breaker), Candice LeRae!
    Match Length: 4:02
Road Agent Notes: Candice is a real coup for the company, getting her is already proving to be a good business move. The crowd is greatly behind her, and the bump in searches for Impact has greatly risen (with her name being used in the same search). Through the match, though Tessa is also a babyface, Candice’s popularity turned the fans to booing Tessa very easily. The match was somewhat even, though it was clearly just an exhibition for LeRae.

After the match the two shake hands, with Tessa holding her opponent's hand high.

We hear a revving motorcycle, and see a long road.

    “OI! OI! OI!”

Suddenly, two leather clad animals are shown jumping people in the ring. We see a bald one, along with a mohawked one. We get a shot of them laying to boots, hearing an “OI!” on every stomp. Hard cut, we see them laying out opponents with a tandem curbstomp. They hold up championship belts above their heads before we see the cryptic text…

Christina Von Eerie vs Melissa Flash

    Final Moments:

Von Eerie ducks a lariat, coming off the ropes for a double dropkick to the chest! Flash stumbles back, clutching her chest in pain. Melissa backs into the corner in pain, as Von Eerie charges into the corner, landing a brutal knee into the chin! Von Eerie pulls Flash out of the ring, grabbing her forward, putting her down and butterflying the arms... Graveyard Smash (Pedigree) RIGHT into the center of the ring! Von Eerie hooks both legs! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Graveyard Smash), Christina Von Eerie!
    Match Length: 6:44
    Road Agent Notes:
Christina got a good reaction after her performance at the PPV, as Borash referred to her as possibly the rightful KO's champion. The match was back and forth, with Flash being portrayed as more of a powerhouse to the fast paced offensive style of Christina Von Eerie.

    Commercial Break
Stills are shown from Victory Road, including the shock victory of Matt Riddle over Braxton Sutter, lasting a few mere seconds. We cut down to the Impact Zone where we see the stage set for the fight, security surrounding the ring, as we make sure nobody leaves until there is a definitive winner.

    ***Don’t Lie To Me***
    Allie

Out from the behind the curtain walks Allie, gingerly. She’s in a bright pink singlet, as she seems to have found wrestling gear. She gets down to the ring, but looks hesitant, as she has to meet her psychotic maker.

    ***Bridezilla***
    Laurel Van Ness

The crowd grows tense, as stumbling from the locker room walks the hot mess that is Laurel Van Ness. She walks stalks down the ramp, with Kendo Stick in hand. The now regular gear of LVN, a tattered wedding dress with smeared makeup and no shoes, is once again in full effect. Laurel gets to the ring, and stares into the soul of Allie.

Allie looks uneasy, nervous about what she can do for the situation. Laurel screeches in her face, daring her to bring it on. Allie steps up, hitting a weak looking forearm to the face, that turns LVN away. Laurel slowly turns her head, looking back at her with a terrifying grin across the face. Laurel demands another one, but Allie hauls off with a slap, popping the crowd in the process! Laurel stumbles back, looking back with pure fury in the eyes of Van Ness. Laurel lunges forward, cracking the Kendo Stick against the leg of Allie! Another into the back! Allie falls to both knees, looking up at Laurel Van Ness. Laurel screams in her face, “This is what happens when you step in my business!” Laurel shrieks as she sends a sickening shot right between the eyes! Allie falls down in a heap, as LVN just unloads. Shot after shot after shot, we lose count, but it has to be around 30 smacks at this point, snapping the Kendo Stick in half over the body of Allie.

Allie is down on the mat, quivering in pain while Laurel walks around her, laughing at the damage she’s causing. Laurel grabs Allie by the hair, lifting her to her knees. Laurel spits in the face of Allie before slapping her as well! The crowd drowns LVN in even more heat as Van Ness couldn’t care less about their thoughts. She crawls out of the ring, throwing two chairs into the six sides from underneath the ring. She climbs back in, lifting Allie into the corner. Laurel grabs a chair, wrapping it around the throat of Allie. Allie stands there, chair like a guillotine yet to fall as JB goes wild on commentary.

Jeremy Borash: This is too damn far. Laurel, you’ve made your point, you could kill this poor woman! SOMEBODY STOP THIS!

But the cries fall upon deaf ears, as Laurel grabs the second chair, swinging and connecting it with the one around Allie’s neck with a sickening crack! The chair flies off Allie as she collapses to the mat. Trainers flood the ring, checking on Allie who is unresponsive. Laurel brandishes the chair, backing them off quickly. She places the chair on the mat before lifting Allie up next to it… CURB STOMP ON THE CHAIR! DEAR GOD! Laurel falls down, seated, as she crawls back into the ring. Trainers go back to Allie, checking her pulse and trying to get her to respond. One of the trainers frantically motions to the back, begging for more help. Laurel simply sits a watches, her face a look of pure euphoria. We see EMTs come down to the ring with a stretcher. Allie gets put onto a backboard with a neck brace on. She gets put on the stretcher and wheeled to the back while Laurel sits, laughing to herself as tears of joy fall down her face.

Trevor Lee w/ Shane Helms vs Joey Ryan

    Final Moments:

Joey Ryan hooks Lee up for a suplex, but Lee slips out the back, landing on his feet. Trevor Lee takes Ryan over with a snap German suplex! Ryan rolls over, landing on his knees. The X-Division champion hits the ropes, looking for a knee strike, but Ryan ducks! Gut kick! He grabs a front chancery, looking for something - WAIT! Shane Helms is on the apron! Referee Slick Johnson starts yelling for him to get down, having his attention diverted from the match. Lee shoves Ryan off, before getting a field goal kick between the legs! Ryan falls to the ground in a heap, whimpering in pain. Trevor Lee traps the arm before rolling into La Magistral as Johnson turns back to the action! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (La Magistral), Trevor Lee!
    Match Length: 9:03
Road Agent Notes: The two were both portrayed as near equals, with this being more of a test for Joey to see if he can join the X Division comfortably. We want more diverse characters and wrestling styles in this division, and this is a step to trying it out. The match itself was Ryan being the excitable fan favorite, as he would often surprise Lee with impressive feats. He deadlifted Lee out of a headlock at one point, he kept up with a fast paced leapfrog sequence, and even bridged out of the way of a strike. Lee has huge heat with the fans in Orlando, and tonight was no different.

Trevor Lee grabs his X-Division Championship, holding it high in the air to boos from the fans. Lee stalks Ryan, who starts getting to his knees as he holds the championship, measuring him… Wait!!! Andrew Everett sprints down the ramp, sliding into the ring! Lee with a wild swing of the championship - DUCKED! SUPER KICK TO THE CHIN! Lee hits the mat and rolls out of the ring, as Helms grabs the championship, taking his protege up the stage as we fade out.

We see a clip from earlier tonight where Josh Mathews tries to enter the building, only for security to be standing in his way. He argues with them momentarily to no avail. He feigns leaving before he tries to sprint past them before the guards throw him to the ground, telling him that if he tries again, he will be tazed and arrested. Mathews leaves in a huff.

    Final Moments:
Cody ducks a pump kick from Moose, before springboarding off the middle rope - Disaster Kick to the back of Moose’s head! Moose falls forward, leaning over the top rope as he tries his best to gather his bearings. Cody wastes no time, charging forward and taking out the knee with a vicious chop block! Moose clutches his knee, rolling around on the mat in pain. The champion, with no hesitation, grabs the legs and applies an Indian Deathlock, which JB announces as being called the American Nightmare! Moose yells out in pain, but has no choice but to submit!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Submission (American Nightmare), And STILL Grand Champion, Cody!
Match Length: 4:00 in Round 2. (9:00 Total)
Road Agent Notes: Cody focused the match on taking out the legs of Moose, trying to duck and move after the explosive pay-per view match. Moose is gaining popularity very quickly, but we don’t have a distinct plan for him as of right now. We may have to move him into a program sooner than we thought.

We see photos flash by quickly of Latino celebrities and stars from the past while we hear gunshots and Spanish. A quick clip is shown of Victory Road, where Ivelisse Velez gets the three count on the GFW Women’s Champion, Christina Von Eerie to become the new Impact Knockout’s Champion. We cut to the clubhouse of the Latin American Xchange where all members are popping bottles and celebrating. The KO’s Championship belt is on the table in the center, with the Mexico and Puerto Rico flags underneath it.

Konnan: Orale, orale, silencio vatos. Look, at Victory Road, we saw the FIRST STEP in the rise of Latinos in this company. Latino Excellence is on the move, and things are going to change fast. We’re on some real G ****, so we gotta put these gringos on blast. Next week, ground zero. We go down to that arena and we make a statement on why Ivelisse is going to put this division on the map once more. Because we are LAX, we serious like a late period, and 5150 means ride or die - Arriba La Raza!

They all celebrate and yell in Spanish as we fade out.

    Tag Team Match:

Jay Lethal and Ethan Carter III vs Davey Richards and Lashley w/ Angelina Love

    Final Moments:

Lethal lands a stiff head kick right against the temple of Davey Richards. Davey slumps down and Lethal looks to the ropes. Ethan Carter III is demanding a tag, saying he wants in. Lethal looks him in the eye and says “I’ve got this, chill out!” Lethal hits the ropes, only to get a roundhouse to the chest, sending down the Greatest First Generation Wrestler! We see Carter shaking his head, mad. Davey stomps on his legs, as Jay gets to his knee. Richards hits the ropes, only to get caught this time by Lethal, with an explosive dropkick! Both men are down on the ground, gasping for air. Lashley stands on the apron, not emoting either for or against a tag, opting to let Richards choose. A stark contrast on the other side, however as EC3 is on fire, begging for the tag, as Lethal crawls over to him. Lethal dives out for Carter, but EC3 drops down, denying it! The crowd lets out a boo as Carter turns his back on the ring. Lethal is on his knees, looking to EC3, but doesn’t see Richards sneaking up behind him… CREEPING DEATH TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Richards hooks both legs! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winners Via Pinfall (Creeping Death), Davey Richards and Lashley!
    Match Length: 16:30
Road Agent Notes: Lethal is already one of the biggest faces on our roster if not THE biggest. Davey and Lashley teased tension through most of the match, as Lashley seemed dismissive of the opponents. Davey, however, tried to use this match as a proving ground of sorts, trying to be as brutal with strikes a possible. EC3 and Lethal both tried to be the aggressor, but couldn’t get on the same page.

Lashley and Davey Richards stare down after their win, with Lashley holding his championship high in the air. Ethan Carter III gets into the ring, standing over the dazed Jay Lethal. Lethal grabs at his feet, trying to pull himself up as EC3 looks down on his fallen “partner” after leaving him high and dry. Ethan Carter III has a cold look on his face, no emotion clear, one way or the other. Lethal gets to one foot, as he gasps for air, eyes glazed over. Carter helps him up to his feet, showing a bit of remorse, as he apologizes to Lethal. He pulls Lethal in, hugging him and apologizing… ONE PERCENTER! Alligator tears from Carter, as he clearly has no regrets here, standing tall, stradling over the unconscious Lethal. The crowd drowns EC3 in boos while yells “YOU PEOPLE NEED ME!” as we fade out.

    Re: Saving Impact Wrestling

First off allow me to say that the Victory Road pay-per-view was a great read. Especially the Richards/Edwards and Three Way Dance matches.

Now onto Impact. Good start to the night with Jay Lethal reminding us that he still wants his shot to become champion. But he definitely has to wait his turn with Richards the number one contender. I hope that this little story just helps prolong Lashley versus Lethal one on one with Edwards probably costing Richards his chance to be World Champ. Kind of a strange bedfellows main event so that should be fun.

I was happy to see the DCC implode at VR and now Kingston is losing his mind. A good win for Bram to follow up on his turn at VR. Interesting times ahead for both men.

I'm a fan of Candice so I look forward to seeing what you do with her.

Not sure if I missed it but would have been nice to have had Ivelisse on Impact after she won the Knockouts title at VR. Von Eerie however picks up a good bounce back win after her defeat. I'm looking forward to the two clashing again, especially after Velez made Von eerie pass out at VR.

I would have also split the three knockout matches from one another. Maybe shoved the Lee/Ryan match in between. Lee and Everett are like the Zayn/Owens of Impact. This is going to keep going on and on and on. I would like to eventually see someone fresh in the hunt for that title though, but it is still early days.

Bridezilla is f***ing crazy!!!! Van Ness really put Allie out of the equation for the foreseeable future. Never underestimate a woman scorn!! I expect this to be the end of this storyline, at least for a few weeks with Allie decapitated and Sutter not doing much better at VR.

Cody Rhodes is definitely putting himself in contention to be a major player. Not only did he take Moose's title away from him but he defended it quite emphatically in a rematch too. Rhodes/Lashley or Rhodes/Lethal both have a nice ring to it. I'm wodnering who steps up next as surely Moose drops to the back of the queue now.

Ahhh there's Ivelisse. Looking forward to next week's episode and the next action of LAX. Surely they will set their sights on the Tag Titles next.

I really enjoyed the finish to the main event. EC3 showed his true colours and Lethal now has someone to battle at AAO with Lashley and Richards left to each other. Good to see Richards pick up the win too to build his heat further. Lethal/Lashley is definitely my prediction for a huge match for the World title though.

Overall I'm glad I got back into reading this. Keep up the good work, I'll be reading.

    Re: Saving Impact Wrestling

    Really good show

*setting up CVE Vs Ivellise at the PPV looking forward to that, would have like to seen the champ more than the backstage segment
*love the crazy LVN demolishing Allie, highly puts over LVN as a mad woman
*really enjoyed the main event, setting up EC3 vs Lethal at AAO and built up Lashley/Richards, I see Lashley retaining at AAO

Overall I continue to enjoy your work, i like the road agent notes to the matches as well; I'll continue to follow this

A highlight video is shown, showing the shocking actions of Ethan Carter III from the most recent episode of Impact Wrestling, where we saw him turn his back on his partner, Jay Lethal, presumably on the fans as well.

LAX defeat Fallah Bahh and Mario Bokara in 5:22 Via Pinfall With The Street Sweeper (Powerbomb and Blockbuster).
A video is shown of Allie’s complete destruction at the hands of Laurel Van Ness. We hear doctors claim that the beat down was so brutal that Allie will not be able to leave the hospital for the foreseeable future.

Matt Riddle defeats SUICIDE in 2:04 Via Submission With The Bromission.
A preview is shown for this upcoming week of Impact Wrestling, as we will hear a HUGE announcement from Jeff Jarrett that will apparently affect the next few months of competition for the X-Division!

Leva Bates defeats Nicole Matthews in 14:03 Via Pinfall With The Critical Confirmation (Codebreaker).

    Impact Wrestling Impact Website Update

    impactwrestling.com

    Eddie Kingston Fined!

Eddie Kingston, following his unprovoked attack of Universal Security, has been fined. The guards are not wrestlers, not even employed by Impact Wrestling. The Universal Studio employees have been calmed and convinced not to press charges. Anthem President, Ed Nordholm, has made it clear to Eddie Kingston personally that if this happens again, he will be terminated from his contract. Kingston was suspended $5,000 per guard, and has been forced to pay for the hospital bills of the one who's jaw bone he cracked.

Championship Match Scheduled For Against All Odds!

Impact Wrestling Officials have announced that they have heard word from Rosemary that she wants her rematch for the Impact Knockout's Championship. Her doctors have not cleared her as of now, due to an injury sustained at Victory Road. However, the injury is supposed to be healed by then, so as of right now, the match is on! For the first time ever, LAX will square off with The Decay, as Ivelisse makes her first defense against Impact's most dominant Knockout in years, Rosemary! With Abyss and Crazzy Steve not being seen or heard from since Victory Road, one would have to imagine that Ivelisse has the advantage from the outset, but that is yet to be seen.

    GFW Championship To Be Defended!

We are proud to announce that for the first time ever, we will be having the GFW Global Championship defended on Impact television. An 8 man tournament was held during Impact Live Events (get tickets now at impactwrestling.com/live-shows) to crown a challenger. After running through Drago, Andrew Everett, and Moose, we have crowned our #1 Contender as none other than L.A.X.'s Homicide! This is the first time the latino star has the opportunity to become a world champion for our company, so both outcomes would be historic affairs. People in the offices and locker room alike will be watching this match with baited breath as it will main event the upcoming edition of Impact Wrestling!

    Wrestling Rumor Round Up

*Wrestling Rumor Round Up - Week of March 30th, 2017*

    - Following our Cody Rhodes story a few weeks back, where he will be likely going wherever can secure his name first, there has absolutely been a race to do so. The first to file was, in fact, Impact Wrestling, with WWE surprisingly close behind, trying to keep the name under wraps after its accidental lapse. Currently, it looks as though Impact will be where Cody stays, especially given the fact that he just won the Grand Championship, a title that Impact has been trying to somewhat protect, with 5 different champions over the course of a year. There are thoughts that it won't be a sudden change in name if Impact is to get him, but it would be built up to. Likewise, if Rhodes stays with Impact, he will still be allowed to go work ROH, but it would take a backseat to Impact bookings.

    - It is believed that Crazzy Steve is headed to WWE, with being written off of Impact at the Victory Road pay-per view. He is scheduled to go to the try out during the month of April, but otherwise it's very likely he signs permanently. He is known to be a very nice person, while also trying incredibly hard as a worker, getting better week by week. It is being considered that he could either go straight to 205 Live as a more gimmicked character to the mostly realistic show, or that he could join NXT as a member of SAnitY with fellow Impact alumni Eric Young. All of this is, of course, preliminary plans for if he passes the physical and gets signed.

    - NJPW has been noted as trying to build Katsuyori Shibata into a huge role in the near future. Many believe that he won't be winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Sakura Genesis, but he could well be on his way to main event status. It has been said backstage that he has finally gotten back into Gedo's good graces after jumping ship years ago, and Shibata is in the top 3 people that could dethrone Okada (among Kenny Omega and Tetsuya Naito) in the not too distant future. NJPW have said that this year they want to expand into the United States, especially with a G1 Special being announced in Long Beach. What the card is will still be up for discussion, but it is in fact a "Road To" show rather than a part of the actual G1 Climax. Shibata is said to likely be a key part of the show, with NJPW hoping he is near the level of Naito or Suzuki for the show, so that he can be one of the main attractions.

    - PWG has recently announced that at their next show, we will see the PWG debuts of Ethan Carter III and Moose. Many have been speculating that this could happen, but it was just announced on Impact's website that they have entered a deal with PWG to use talent. PWG is seen as THE super indy in the world, with it being most wrestlers favorite place to work. Impact has been signing all of their talent to exclusive deals, so that they can only work with them and companies Impact has a deal with. The biggest outstander has been X-Division Champion, Trevor Lee, who refused to sign if he couldn't work PWG. Impact then reached out, and made a deal with PWG, that they could use Impact talent on their show, for a 25% cut on shows where an Impact star was in one of the marquee matches. This was seen as fair all around, and PWG is now putting it to good use with the debuts of some of Impact's more popular workers.

    - Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan will also be hosting some Impact talent in the near future, with Eddie Edwards, Braxton Sutter, ACH, and James Storm heading over seas to make appearances for the company.

    - Alberto El Patron has been removed from Impact's roster page, and his matches from the tapings have not aired. We can now confirmed that he has been released from the company after only one televised match, where he got the fall. Last week, El Patron went on Periscope and made a drunk rant about how Triple H was intentionally holding Patron's fiance, Paige, back, and how he and WWE's corporate stooges were the reason for him leaving both times. Patron went as far to daring Triple H to fight him in real life. Impact and Anthem officials agreed that this toxic behavior was no way for an employee of theirs to act, and they released El Patron. They made it clear they have no problem bringing him back in the future if he can clean up his act, but as of now they want no part of him. This would be the reason 3 knockout matches in a row aired on the most recent Impact, as one was scheduled to be an El Patron match. However, the only matches that have no storyline connotations that could've aired at that time was the Christina Von Eerie vs Melissa Flash match.

    - Finally, we have it on good authority that GFW may become an integral part of Impact's future. Jeff Jarrett has been pushing for it to be, and while many believe it is just his ego wanting his pet project to succeed, he has backing from most of the locker room. Not only does TNA's name have bad connotations in the wrestling world, but it is seen as a joke by many sponsors. Yes, TNA is no longer the name, but Impact Wrestling was the show to the TNA company for years, with many people still referring to Impact Wrestling as those three initials. People believe that if GFW is brought in as the name, that it could be beneficial all around. GFW's only real scandal has been failure to get off the ground, as well as Jeff Jarrett's "Global Force Gold" campaign, which has been taken down and publicly apologized for, claiming he fell into their scheme. With Impact's moves around the world, with talent trades in different countries around the world, it has to be believed that the name Global Force Wrestling could be more fitting now than ever. What this means for championships has yet to be seen, but GFW as of now is still holding live YouTube editions of Amped each week. The future may change this, but we will have to wait and see.

    Impact Wrestling

    4/06/17

Announcers: Jeremy Borash and The Pope

    Dark Matches:
Lucha Brothers defeat The Beaver Boys via Pinfall with a Package Piledriver into Fenix Splash in 6:03

Ethan Carter III defeats Aldo Rose via Pinfall with a One Percenter in 11:39.

    ***Change***
    Impact Intro
We open with a highlight package of last week’s main event. Impact World Champion, Lashley, was forced to team up with his next challenger, Davey Richards, to take on both men Lashley had JUST overcame to retain in both Ethan Carter III and Jay Lethal. The match was even, but what was most noteworthy was the aftermath of EC3 turning his back on Jay Lethal. He would plant him into the mat with a brutal spike that nobody had expected and we hear the isolated audio over a black and white image of Carter standing over the beaten Lethal…

    You people need me…”

We go now LIVE inside the Impact Zone as we pan over a crowd that cannot wait to see the top wrestlers in the world compete on a global platform. We go to Borash and Pope are are excitedly telling of of tonight’s card, where Awesome Kong returns to the ring! *Slight Static* We hear Jeff Jarrett’s announcement for the X-Division. *More Static* And we will crown the next challengers for the tag team cha -

We cut hard out of the Impact Zone, and now we’re in the woods… Somewhere. We hear crying, faint, but distinct. The camera moves swiftly between trees and bushes, cutting past dead plants and animals scurrying away. We hear the crying grow louder and louder, until we stop dead. The camera stops, and all is quiet. We pan up, showing a broken down, decrepit church. It’s cement base is covered in moss, the wood paneling is petrified, falling apart. It moves around to the “backyard” where we see Rosemary! She’s on her knees, her hand heavily taped up, but clearly hastily done. It’s dotted with blood, and we see her heavy breathing as she cries over a fresh mound of soil, clearly more recently moved than anything else. There’s a single picture on top of it that she stares at.

Rosemary looks down at the picture, speckled with tears across it. We see her look down at the soil before she begins to speak.

Rosemary: Steve… This is my fault. I should have been there! I should have stopped them! You are meant to Decay - but not this way, Steve! You were supposed to stay with me forever…

She sobs before she looks back at the house.

Rosemary: Everybody… Everybody will pay for this. The company that sanctioned your fight, the beast that made it so I couldn’t be by your side, the hooded cowards who did this to you, the woman who took my precious away from me, ALL OF THEM! They will all fall before me! They will all feel my wrath, and they will all… Decay… Decay.. DECAY! DECAY!

Rosemary continues screaming over and over as we pan out. We see birds flying away, we start seeing the static again, and we see someone walking by in the woods by the church. Before we get to see who it is, we cut back to the Impact Zone with Borash finishing his spiel for the night, as he mentions that the main event will be for the GFW Global Championship, as Magnus defends against Homicide of LAX! Borash sends it down to the ring for our first match!
#1 Contendership For The Impact World Tag Team Championship
    Tag Team Match:

ACH & Taiji Ishimori vs Drago and Aero Star

    Final Moments:

Drago ducks a clothesline from Taiji, hitting the ropes hard. Ishimori attempts a back elbow, another duck… FRONT FLIP DDT TO ISHIMORI! Drago just sent his head through his heels! Cover! 1...2… No, ACH in to break it up! Aero Star springboards off the top rope to ACH, but ACH runs out of the way, forcing The Intergalactic Luchador to land on his feet and roll through. ACH rebounds off the ropes, landing a brutal kick into the chest that sends Aero Star out of the ring. Drago and ACH trade shot attempts, each fist being checked, and kicks being dodged. They both land a stiff slap to the face, but ACH ducks, just in time for Taiji Ishimori to step onto his back and nail a Shining Wizard into the chin of Drago! The Midnight Cannonball hits the ropes, and ACH FLIES through the sky off the ropes with Air Jordan! Taiji grabs Drago, hooking up both arms… HERMOSILLO (double underhook piledriver) just sends Drago down in a heap! Hook of both legs! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winners Via Pinfall (Hermosillo), And #1 Contenders To The Tag Team Championship, ACH & Taiji Ishimori!
    Match Length: 9:30
Road Agent Notes: The match was structured similar to a traditional lucha tag team match. Fast paced action with both men moving around the ring like pinballs in a 9 minute sprint, had the fans chanting “ALL THESE GUYS” to the competitors. ACH got over big with the Air Jordan, as a portion of the crowd chanted “Holy Shit!” over and over.

Taiji stands up, holding up his hands, as ACH joins him in the ring. ACH yells something in japanese as he mimes a championship belt around his waist.

We see four words across the screen.
    Who Is Leva Bates?

We see shots of Leva Bates wrestling around the independent circuit, as she talks over it.

Leva Bates: Who is Leva Bates? I’m a lot of things *giggles*. I’m a cosplayer. I’m a fan of cinema. I’m a huge fan of music. But most of all? I’m a wrestler. Here’s the thing, and you hear this all the time, but I am not like the other Knockout’s in Impact Wrestling. I am NOT the stereotypical barbie, I’m not a powerhouse, I’m not some loud over the top person. What I am? I am Leva Bates. And soon, you will all know who I am.

    Tag Team Match:

War Machine vs The Tempura Boyz (Sho Tanaka and Yohei Komatsu)

    Final Moments:

Tanaka runs in, just to get taken over Rowe’s back, sending him down to his knees, only to get a brutal right knee to the chin from Raymond Rowe! Sho falls back, arms stiff, as Raymond Rowe deadlifts him off the mat. He lifts him in a back suplex clutch, walking back so Hanson can tag in before coming down hard with The Fallout! Pope screams, “You’ll need a spatula to get him up, daddeh!” as Hanson hooks the leg, Rowe standing between Komatsu and the pin. 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winners Via Pinfall (The Fallout), War Machine!
    Match Length: 3:01
Road Agent Notes: Basic squash match here for War Machine. Tempura Boyz are on excursion and will likely be spending time with us for a while. No word as of now if they’re officially signed, but this was a tryout of sorts.

We go to Jeff Jarrett’s office, where we see him sitting with a smile on his face. He has a suit on, with a pin on his lapel of the show’s logo. He leans forward in his seat, with a twinkle in his eye before he starts his speech.

Jeff Jarrett: Ladies and gentlemen, fans of Impact Wrestling worldwide. I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you. Through thick and thin, you stay watching our product, and for that, we are eternally grateful. I figured that there should be SOME way I can reward the fans for keeping us in such good graces in the wrestling world. For that, I present to you my newest creation. One of the things that set apart this company in the beginning was of course, the X-Division. That’s why I’ve set out a WORLDWIDE challenge to everybody who exemplifies the words X Division. I’ve already heard back from a number, so I am putting together a bracket. There will be a 16 Man Tournament, with the semi finals and finals being held at Against All Odds. The winner of that will challenge the next episode of Impact for the X-Division Championship. And let’s just say, after next month, you REALLY want to be the X Champion, more so than usual. I am calling this tournament, the World X Invitational. And to give you an idea of how prestigious this is going to be, let me list off the first 8 participants. The final 8 will be announced sporadically, throughout the week. Either way, let me present you with the first 8 entrants.

    Representing AAA, Drago!

An Impact Wrestling Original, Shark Boy!

Impact Wrestling’s Newest Signing, Matt Sydal!

A Second Impact Wrestling Original and X-Division Legend, Low Ki!

Japanese Wrestling Legend, Jushin “Thunder” Liger!

One of Wrestling’s Brightest Blue Chippers, Lio Rush!

Representing Combat Zone Wrestling, Dezmond Xavier!

    AND FINALLY...

    Representing Impact Wrestling, Jay Lethal!

Jeff Jarrett: With these huge stars only being half of the talent in the tournament, I can only reiterate. Thank you all. Now, a quick word from our sponsors, but after that, don’t miss it! Awesome Kong returns to Impact Wrestling’s weekly show!
    Commercial Break
    Singles Match:

    Awesome Kong vs Madison Rayne

    Final Moments:

Rayne hops to the back of Kong, trying to apply a sleeper hold on the behemoth. Kong ducks forward, sending Rayne crashing to the mat. Rayne gets back to her feet, gets caught with a right hand to the face of Madison Rayne, sending her stumbling into the corner. Kong grabs the hair of Madison, taking her to center of the ring, and spinning through with a backfist! Rayne is out like a light as Awesome Kong pins her! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Backfist), Awesome Kong!
    Match Length: 4:09
Road Agent Notes: Kong is over big with the fans. She squashed Rayne like nothing, as JB and Pope put over that Rayne has not been able to get any wins lately. They ask if she’s lost “it” and ponder what she has to do to get back on top.

A graphic is shown of EC3’s brutal change of heart last week, and we see that next week, Ethan Carter III will be here live and in the flesh, explaining his actions last week.
We go back to the Impact Zone, when we see Eli Drake in the ring. He’s in his gear, but JB makes us aware that he isn’t scheduled to compete tonight. Drake has a mic and begins to talk.

Eli Drake: Hey! Dummies! *Heat* No, not you, dummies. I’m talking to the dummies in the back that don’t seem to be able to tell talent when they see it! You’re going to have a tournament, for a TITLE SHOT and not include E - Li - Drake?! Are you forgetting who won the Gauntlet For Gold at Bound for Glory?! Eli Drake is a championship magnet! So what’s gonna happen, since I’ve made my point clear to Jeff Jarrett, is he let me prove myself tonight as an “X-Division star” and hold an open challenge against any former X-Division Champion. Winner gets into the World X Invitational. So bring out the dummy! Yeah!

    ***Riser***
    DJZ

Out from the locker room steps up DJZ, the former two time X-Division Champion looks to make his case for the title picture again, as he could step right into the World X Invitational!

    WORLD X INVITATIONAL QUALIFIER
    Singles Match:

    DJZ vs Eli Drake

    Final Moments:

DJZ springs off the bottom rope, looking for a Slingshot DDT, but Drake plants his feet, staying exactly where he is. He wraps his arm around the head of DJZ, deadlifting him out of it, and driving him down hard with a suplex. Eli Drake calls for the end, lifting DJZ up, but no! DJZ has life left, sending shots into the ribs. He grabs the hand of Drake, chops him in the chest, and runs up the turnbuckle before twirling through the air with a graceful armdrag! But Eli Drake keeps hold up the hand, as the momentum whips him to his feet, he pulls forcefully on DJZ’s arm, bringing him in before dropping him with an emphatic Snap STO! Eli Drake covers him looking at hard cam. As the ref counts he says his name 1(E)...2(Li)...3(Drake)!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Snap STO), And Entered Into The World X Invitational, Eli Drake!
    Match Length: 7:03
Road Agent Notes: Drake was mega heel in this, using exclusively rest holds and power throws when he had control, as JB called him the “Antithesis of the X-Division” and disgracing the tournament by trying to get entry. Pope would actually play the heel this match, saying that if X-Division stars want to tout it out as being “about no limits” that means unlimited power too, not just aerial offense. DJZ got a pop for standing up to Drake, but the heat was mostly directed at Drake rather than in favor of DJZ getting back into it.

Drake kicks DJZ out of the ring and yells that HE will be winner of the tournament and will get the X title. Drake stands tall in the ring while we fade out, with Borash hyping LAX’s celebration when we get back.

    Commercial Break

    ***5150***
Impact Knockout’s Champion - Ivelisse Velez - Latin American Xchange

Out frome the crowd marches Konnan’s militia, that now includes the Impact Knockout’s Champion! All members now have on black hoods over their face, as they have gold and black suits on, all but Konnan, who remains in his leather and black garb excluding the gold hood on his face. Ortiz and Santana have paper bags, while Homicide stands tall with confidence, as he challenges Magnus later tonight. They climb into the ring as Konnan grabs a microphone.

Konnan: Orale, orale, ORALEEEEE! All you gringos y gringas sit down and shut the **** up! *Heat* You see, last Sunday, LAX proved what we’ve been saying all along! Latino stars are held down by all the crackers in the back that don’t want to give us the shots we deserve. We get one shot and look what happens! I present your NEW Knockout’s Champion, Ivelisse!

Ivelisse steps up, taking the microphone from Konnan. She hands her title belt to Diamante who holds it up behind her as she speaks.

Ivelisse Velez: Hey! *Heat* You wanna boo me?! I could take the easy way and say that you boo because I’m latina, but we all know that isn’t true. I am the baddest BITCH in professional wrestling, and you all boo me because of that. The women are mad they ain’t as bad as me, and the men are mad they ain’t tough enough to handle me. *BIG Heat* I’m a veteran in this business! I’ve been around the world proving myself, and here, I just went and did it again. So here’s how this works around here. There’s a line, either you respect me and stay out of my way, or you’re finna get cut the hell up. The line’s right here *points to the ground in front of her* and if anybody wants to pass it, try me, but don't go crying to Jarrett when you wake up in an alley.

Homicide moves forward, getting the microphone from Ivelisse.

Homicide: The fact of the matter is, LAX is taking over, one championship at a time. Ivelisse is the beginning. Soon, mi hermanos, Santana y Ortiz will become the World Tag Team Champions! And tonight, I reclaim my spot on the throne atop the wrestling world. I’m a former ROH World Champion, and since then, all I’ve done is get meaner, and meaner, and angrier, and hungrier, so MAGNUS! I want you to know, pendejo, that tonight you walk in as champion, you walk out in a body bag when I take the damn thing and fly it high for LAX, 5150 RIDE OR DIE!

Konnan takes the microphone once again.

Konnan: Now, we’re almost all set to celebrate, we just need one more thing. So please, Rey Fenix, Pentagon Dragon, come on down. No hostilities we promise.

We wait for a moment, but then we hear the familiar song…

    ***Thrill Switch***
Impact World Tag Team Champions - Lucha Brothers

In hoodies, jeans, and their masks, Lucha Brothers hobble out of the locker room, still clearly feeling the grueling effects from the Monster’s Ball tag team match. They both clutch their tag titles over their shoulders as they get into the ring, with Diamante and Ivelisse holding open the ropes for them. Konnan steps in the middle of them all.

Konnan: Listen, listen, we aren’t out here to insult or attack. We want to congratulate you! *Confused looks from both luchadors* Yeah, ese, what’d you think?! You’re proud and talented Mexican men that prove that latinos are the greatest athletes in the world! Why do you think we haven’t targeted y’all yet? We got no problems with you holding onto the belts for now, our times will come.

Pentagon and Fenix look to each other, unsure of what to, as Ortiz and Santana pull champagne bottles out of the bags. They offer them to the brothers, who look to each other.

Konnan: You still don’t think you can trust us? Hey, look, you can, holmes. You want proof?! Check this.

We go to the video wall and we see a clip of both hooded figures that destroyed The Decay at Victory Road. They plant The Decay, and we cut to Lucha Brothers retaining. We see a “later that night” clip, where LAX are celebrating and popping bottles. The hooded figures walk into the club and are given a fat wad of money from Konnan as he thanked them for their services. They leave and we cut back to the ring where Pentagon Dragon and Rey Fenix are furious. They look at Konnan with pure rage.

Konnan: See?! We stick together, like it or not! You really think you’d’ve toppled the monster and ended that punk ass clown for good without us?

Pentagon steps forward, trying to get to Konnan. Homicide steps between them, but Pentagon screams at Konnan in spanish. Pentagon spits right in Konnan’s face! Konnan wipes at his face, as he grabs a bandana from his pocket to wipe his face. He turns his back to the two, snapping his fingers and whistling. Suddenly, Santana and Ortiz take down the champions with champagne bottles over the head! All five members put the boots to the champions, as Konnan directs traffic. Ivelisse grabs Pentagon Dragon, applying the Guillotine Choke, as the luchador goes limp. Meanwhile, Homicide lifts up Fenix, dropping him hard to the mat with the Gringo Killer! LAX stands tall as we fade out.
    Commercial Break

    Singles Match:

    Caleb Konley vs Suicide

    Final Moments:

Konley goes for a clothesline, but Suicide ducks the shot. The mask marauder hit the ropes, landing a tilt-a-whirl headscissor to take Caleb across the ring, more gaining separation rather than dealing damage. Konley gets to his feet, turning to Suicide only to get a shotgun dropkick, sending Caleb into the corner! Konley whiplashes hard into the corner, as Suicide gets out to the apron… SPRINGBOARD SHOOTING STAR - Konley moves! Suicide lands on his feet, rolling forward to stop the impact on his knees. He turns, and Konley goes for a right, but Suicide gets behind him. Konley turns around, catching a jumping knee to the head! Caleb Konley is on wobbly knees, with Suicide wasting no time… SUICIDE SOLUTION (Overhead leghook belly to back)! Cover from Suicide, hooking both legs! 1...2...3!

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via Pinfall (Suicide Solution), Suicide!
    Match Length: 4:00
Road Agent Notes: Suicide got some great pops for his lucha style starting to get integrated, as we want to separate this iteration of Suicide from all the rest. We want him to feel mysterious, but not quite in the dark way he used to be, instead we want his name to have the meaning that his style is more reckless and putting his body on the line. Here, it wasn’t quite that message, since it was a tune up match, but the groundwork was starting to get laid with some springboard spots.

We get an update on the condition of Eddie Edwards, but we hear that he will be in physical therapy for a long time, and won’t be able to be back on television for months to come.
    Commercial Break

    GFW GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP
    Singles Match:

    Magnus[C] vs Homicide w/ LAX

    Final Moments:

Magnus grabs Homicide up for the Tormentum, but Diamante gets on the apron! Homicide claws at the eyes of Magnus! Roll up! 1...2… No! Kick out from the champion! Homicide calls for the end, motioning for the Gringo Killer, but Magnus is fighting, not letting him lift the champ. Santana is on the apron now! Referee Slick Johnson turns his attention, trying to get him down, but Ortiz slides in… SUPERKICK TO MAGNUS! Homicide stacks him up as LAX celebrate. 1... 2… NO! Magnus kicked out! Homicide climbs to his feet, pulling Johnson to the corner and yelling in his face as Magnus gets up to his knees, dazed. Ivelisse slides into the ring now, drilling Magnus upside the head with the Knockout’s Championship belt! JB calls this absolutely ridiculous, saying this much interference should by no means be able to make Homicide a champion. Pope says by any means necessary, no matter how low down, LAX will go to. Homicide lets the referee go, getting to Magnus and cockily making the cover! 1...2...3!!! NO! The champion gets his foot on the bottom rope! Homicide goes absolutely ballistic! He pounds away at the ground, yelling expletives in spanish. Homicide lifts Magnus up to his feet, sliding his thumb across the throat of the GFW Champion. He hooks the arms for the Gringo Killer, but Magnus swings over, landing on his feet! He ducks down, lifting up Homicide for the Tormentum - IN COMES LAX! All four members of LAX get into the ring, beating down on Magnus as they force Slick Johnson to call for the disqualification.

    Spoiler:

Your Winner Via DQ (Interference), And Still GFW Global Champion, Magnus!
    Match Length: 15:06
Road Agent Notes: Magnus was booked almost to be superhuman here, overcoming all the odds of LAX. More so, this was done to go with GFW’s management while we try to do business. LAX may have looked foolish in the moment, but there is going to be fixing done very soon to get it handled. The match was back and forth for most of it, with LAX interfering more out of desperation during the end of the match than throughout the entirety. It got the fans behind Magnus rapidly, as the pop grew for each false finish.

LAX stay in the ring, absolutely mugging Magnus, taking it to the GFW Champion, as JB screams for someone to get out of here and help the champ.

    SORRY! About your damn luck…”

The crowd pops big as LAX turns to look at the video wall to see, standing at the top of the stage, the Impact Wrestling original. James Storm is dressed in his original cowboy gear, blue jeans, leather jacket, and airbrushed cowboy hat. He runs down to the ring, taking a swig of beer. Diamante and Ivelisse ditch the ring. Santana goes for a clothesline, ducked, beer spit in the eyes! He gets spun around by Ortiz – CRACKS THE BEER BOTTLE OVER HIS HEAD! Homicide ducks the attempted Last Call Superkick, and LAX retreat up the ramp as Storm and Magnus stare down while we fade to black.

    Re: Saving Impact Wrestling

Very good show imo. Digging the way you're booking LAX (I mark for them). Actually hoping Homicide gets another shot at Magnus and wins

War Machine being in the tag division is great, building up to a mega tag title match between LAX and War Machine would be awesome

Dig the Rosemary stuff and also dig Kong being back. Wonder what direction you put Rayne in following the losing streak

Also dig trying to put a light spin on the name Suicide ... Sure is a shit name

Looking forward to seeing more of this

    Re: Saving Impact Wrestling

    SP'S IMPACT REVIEW

    - The opening to Impact was really interesting. Rosemary vowing her revenge is great, and the hype of tonight's show. I'm interested to see who was in the woods and what Rosemary has in store for Impact.
    - I like that you put what the finishing move is in brackets. It's also going to be an interesting match when ACH & Taiji take on the Tag Team Champions. That match is filled with talent and will be packed with some highflying moves.
    - I enjoyed the Leva Bates promo - excited to see what she brings to Impact.
    - It's always a squash match when the opponents don't have images. Good win for War Machine, they're looking as strong as always.
    - The World X Invitational looks AWESOME! Some great talents: JAY LETHAL, Drago, Matt Sydal, Low Ki, Lio Rush. I'm rooting for Matt Sydal to take the cake on this one.
    - Excited to see Awesome Kong back in action. A nice win for her, she looks like she's going on to some great things.
    - Eli Drake qualifies for the World X Invitational! Maybe I take that back, seeing Eli Drake as the X Division Champion could mean great things. Maybe Drake is in for the win there.
    - LAX and The Lucha Brothers had a great segment here. I liked the rivalry that's been brewing. I think The Brothers are going to retain against ACH and Taiji, leading to a big match with LAX.
    - I think maybe Suicide needs a bit of a change. It's interesting to see Suicide face off against the man who is usually under the mask. I like the changes that you're giving to him though.
    - I don't believe this Eddie Edwards stuff. I think he's coming back to cost Davey Richards the Championship at AAO.
    - I really like that Homicide is in action. A great main event match, exciting to see James Storm make the save with Magnus to fend of LAX to close the show.
    - Overall, great show. I will continue reading! You're doing some great work here. Sad to not hear from Davey this week, nor Lashley - but Against All Odds is looking like a great card thus far.
