Good god what a week for this category. I thought nothing would top TK Cooper and Dahlia returning to Progress, then Nagata's last night of the G1 happened and I got a bit teary over Blue Justice getting the bow from Fale, and then today happened.

Lads, I'm man enough to say I've watched that return 4 times today and cried every time. It was so perfect, just so unexpected like when Tenryu showed up 2 years ago on G1 finals night, they played his music and the noise from the crowd was like nothing I've heard before from Japan, utter shock. Then you get the double pop when he shows up from behind the curtain and the chanting of his name was Kobashi like from when he recovered from Cancer. It was so great to see he could walk down to the ring on his own, but then he took a fucking back bump. The guy has had a shite year, and to be reunited for one night at least with his greatest love after almost dying because of it is one of the most beautiful scenes ever in wrestling. Last year Bryan's retirement was my favourite moment of the year because it was the most emotional and unlike anything else from the year, and that's the same way I feel about this, it's the most emotional thing I've seen all year and nothing is gonna be able to touch it because of the unique circumstances around it.

Here it is for those who haven't seen it. Translated, he said "I'm Alive. That's all."

    Other contenders:

    - The Hardys return at Wrestlemania
    - Festival of Friendship
    - Daryl Takahashi's death and resurrection
    - Undertaker's sort of retirement at mania (I'm certain he's coming back which dampers this somewhat)

Yeah, I have my three nominations in one week. Shibata's return was awesome and emotional. Such a great great great feeling to see Shibata walking and aware, and his speech is perfect.

I can honestly say that I have never had anything I would call a bad blowjob, that wasn't a great experience but up until I started gushing blood I was having a great time!
