That headbut just gives me a concussion by just looking at it. But that made the match for me, what a match to go out on. I still prefer the omega vs okada match from wk.

my top 5 matches so far are

    5. Naito vs Tanahashi wk 11

    4. Kenny Omega vs Kazuchicka Okada II Dominion

    3. Kushida vs Will Ospreay BOSJ Finals

    2. Katsuyori Shibata vs Kazuchicka Okada Sakura Genesis

    1. Kenny Omega vs Kazuchicka Okada I Wrestle Kingdom 11

It's in my top five. Baller performance from Shibata even if rough to watch.

I can honestly say that I have never had anything I would call a bad blowjob, that wasn't a great experience but up until I started gushing blood I was having a great time!

Just thought I'd do a quick count of how many matches have made it onto my spreadsheet for great 2017 wrestling matches before the G1 starts and dominates things.

    83

and that's without seeing BJW, NOAH, Joshi, Lucha that I usually catch up on before the year is out. Another quality year of in-ring work (although WWE is letting the side down)

How many true MOTYC have their actually been from WWE this year. The only ones I can think of are

    AJ/Cena - Rumble
    Revival/AOP/DIY - Takeover San Antonio
Pete Dunne/Tyler Bate - Takeover Chicago

And maybe Revival/AOP from Chicago too. Aries/Neville had a decent series and Neville also had decent matches with Swann and Gallagher and Strowman/Reigns have had a solid series of matches (though not MOTYC imo) but outside of that it's been a eh year thus far. Probably the weakest in years.

To that 83, I added 23 G1 matches this morning to my spreadsheet. As expected, the tournament delivered big in the match quality stakes.

I'd say Dante Fox vs Killshot from Ultima Lucha Tres is worth consideration for this.

Yeah it's lovely and I put Killshot vs Crane from the Cueto Cup in the same Season is a top flight contender for match of the year for me. On the Joshi side theirs been so many great matches

-Sera vs Yukihi[Ice Ribbon in Wonderland]
-Any of the Avid Rival vs Best Friends matches which was three. I never been more proud of two teams while being invested on what these teams were fighting for and that was...PRIDE!
-Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Chihiro Hashimoto in Sendai Girls' on 7/15/17
-Arisa Nakajima vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto in SEAdLINNNG on 5/24/17
-Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Meiko Satomura in Sendai Girls' on 4/6/17
-Kairi Hojo matches with Jungle Kyona and Mayu Iwatani
-Mayu Iwatani vs. Kagetsu in Stardom on 8/13/17

That some I remember right now

I might give it a watch later then.

So far, Okada vs Omega one is still my match of the year but Ishii and Naito at KOPW may change that.
