Season two of Community is the GOAT and you straight tripping if you think the first was better.

Lotta great comedies this year. Parks and Community get rewatched every year or so.

The first few seasons sort of blend together for me as 'everything before the show became steaming dogshit' so it's very possible that the second is better.

Parks and Rec had a lot of great moments and some not so great moments but I imagine it should place quite high in this.

Managed to burn through the first season of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret this afternoon and I found it pretty funny. I wouldn't say this is Cross' best character but it's still a good one and he does an excellent job of making Todd somehow likable despite his numerous flaws. Will Arnett is hilarious as the crazy boss and I also thought Spike Jonze did well in his smaller role. Really enjoyed seeing Steve Davis pop up and kick Todd's ass for not knowing how to pronounce snooker properly.

Not sure if it'll make my list but it's definitely a show that I'll catch the rest of in the near future.

Sent my list. No American shows but I assume some of them have definitely aired there. Good mix of comedy and legit shows too. Hope i'm not the only person giving some love to these shows.

Re: WC's Fave Five Television Shows of 2009~!

Alright everybody, the votes are in so let us begin...

    17T. Castle - 10 Points (El Oso Negro #5)

    17T. The Garfield Show - 10 Points (Bazingos #5)

    17T. The Lang & O'Leary Exchange - 10 Points (Fuji Vice #5)

    17T. Men of a Certain Age - 10 Points (Silk #5)

    17T. Spliced - 10 Points (Jon Legend #5)

17T. The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien - 10 Points (Jimmy King #5)

    17T. Three Sheets - 10 Points (Whipping Post #5)

17T. United States of Tara - 10 Points (Darling Nicky #5)

I knew nobody else would vote for The Lang & O'Leary Exchange but I love finance shows and watched it religiously so I had to give it a spot on my list. Amazingly, this won't be the last time we see Kevin O'Leary on the list and I'm sure Mr. Wonderful would be very happy to hear that. Caught a few episodes of Three Sheets awhile back and thought it was a pretty fun show.

Next up, our 16th place shows bring us another 8-way tie~!

I'm stunned Castle is so low with the amount of nerds (like myself) on this sight. Guess it's just a stacked year.

I had heard about the Firefly references, and he was great in Buffy, but those types of shows (imagining this is similar to Bones) do nothing for me. Nathan Fillion or not.

I also heard decent things about United States of Tara and like the actress enough but never checked it out.

I forgot to mention it in my last post but yes, it's the most stacked year yet with 51 shows receiving at least one nomination.

Re: WC's Fave Five Television Shows of 2009~!

I'm continually blown away by the total lack of conversation once the list begins. It's almost like I should just make a thread but never actually deliver the results. Speaking of results, here's the next batch of shows...

    16T. FlashForward - 20 Points (PeepShow #4)

    16T. Harper's Island - 20 Points (Bazingos #4)

    16T. I'm Alive - 20 Points (Kassius HoHo #4)

    16T. Let's Make a Deal - 20 Points (Dookie Sanders #4)

    16T. Piers Morgan's Life Stories - 20 Points (Order #4)

    16T. Psychoville - 20 Points (Ed #4)

    16T. Stoked - 20 Points (Jon Legend #4)

    16T. White Collar - 20 Points (Whipping Post #4)

I've never seen the reboot of Let's Make a Deal but if it's anything like the Monty Hall original then I'm sure it's good for a few laughs. Watched a couple of episodes of Harper's Island when it first aired but I never got around to finishing it. Was pretty decent from what I saw though.

    Next up, even more ties~!

    FlashForward really sucked.

Tara is a great gem and Toni Collette is a godsend.

Spliced and Stoked are two pretty solid cartoons. Stoked more than Spliced since its created by the same folks as Total Drama & 6Teen and another notch under their belt as really quality Canadian cartoons. Sucks they haven't done much new since.
