Wouldn't be a squash. They're equally overrated and average.

    Daggerfall and Morrowind were greatness.

Arena and Skyrim were fun 8/10 games, for sure.

Copper, you would probably enjoy it.

Surv horror / RPG / FPS with cyberpunk elements.
Time stood still, and it shared with me all that had been, and all that was to come.

Bioshock is worlds better than Fallout 3. Bioshock was an unbelievable gaming experience, one that will live with me forever. Incredible atmosphere that few games could hope to emulate. Its one of the best games I've ever played.

Fallout 3 is a good game, maybe even very good. But it is a bit dull in comparison to its previous entries and New Vegas. Doesn't feel like a Fallout game with the bleakness and lack of humour.

Elder Scrolls would stomp Fallout in a vs. Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all range from incredible to very good. I've not played an ES game that was actively BAD like Fallout 4.

It's not even close. I mean I liked Bioshock but I found the sequel to be better for some reason and then there was Bioshock Infinite which is the best of the series imo. With that said, even if I had to choose between Fallout and Bioshock 2 or Infinite I'd still go with Fallout. Even though I fell in love with New Vegas, Fallout 3 is still one of the best games I've ever played. So Bioshock vs. Fallout 3 isn't even close. Fallout 3 wins, because war...war never changes.

Maybe you played them when they all came out, but Arena and Daggerfall have aged like milk to me. Arena's flat out awful (but mediocre if I have to rate it), and Daggerfall's marginally better (maybe a 7/10 at best). Morrowind, though, I can agree is great, maybe even the best of the ES series.

Now getting on topic of Fallout 3 vs. Bioshock...

Bioshock was a much better experience to me but I will say both games have peaks and valleys. Playing them both today is a bit of a misfortune, as both just bore the hell out of me since I know everything that's happening. Bioshock and Fallout are very much one and done kind of games (though Fallout is open world, so I suppose there's much more to do).

I guess these are just not my kind of games.

Oblivion is 10/10 for me. Never ever have I enjoyed a game more. Doubt I ever will.

Fallout here in an absolute mauling of BioShock.

Re: The Video Game Debate Club

I love the Fallout series and Elder scrolls, and Fallout 3 was the first game I played in the series so it has a special place for me, however Bioshock has the better plot, the more famous quotes, the creepy little sisters and the big daddies, the effects of your abilities in bioshock look so unique and the atmosphere is intense, fallout has an intense atmosphere too especially when experiencing the nuclear ravaged world for the first time, but it's different to bioshock which has an eerie vibe, it's unsettling as you go through. So bioshock wins for me.
