I don't really care for a lot of categories. I think some might be a bit butthurt about McGregor and Kavanagh winning Fighter and Coach of the Year. I don't think Khabib should have won international Fighter of the Year, no way he deserves it over anyone else in that category, bit of a robbery. Swanson vs Choi is my fight of the year so glad it won, sheer madness, still not bored of watching repeats. Kind of feel like Dong Hyun Kim vs Polo Reyes should have been nominated too though. Thought Vannata should've won KO of the year and I think Diaz winning Sub of the year is questionable but I assume the circumstances of it kind of push it over the line. Everything else I either agree with or don't care about.

No issues with conor winning because of the Rollercoaster and history. His coach winning is sorta lol but idk who else he might coach that might have done well. I'd argue that embedded is way better than ultimate fighter.

Overall everything makes sense from an award perspective in that I'm not surprised [mother fuckers] but eh.

Re: World MMA Awards 2016-17 results

Khabib winning International Fighter is the only dumb one. How does Khabib win that when Conor is in the same category and won Overall Fighter of the Year? That makes no sense. And on top of that what did Khabib do in 2016? Beat Johnson and a can? Hows that a better year than Conor who held two World Titles, Bisping who beat Anderson, Hendo and won a Title, or Joanna who defended a World Title twice?

Thanks to Jabberwocky for the amazing Gabrielle gif
