Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Well, here goes. I've recently made changes to many different plans, so I'm hopeful this goes as well as I'm thinking it could. The women's story had about 5 different options and I explained them and had my girlfriend make the decision she would find most interesting, so we'll see how all of you view it. That had the most change to it, most everything else is still running as normal just with slight changes throughout. I'm very excited for this, my first time actually completing a Royal Rumble and having a plan through WrestleMania as well as making changes based on feedback. Thank you to everyone who reads this, skims this, gives me any potential feedback. I greatly appreciate anybody who gives me their time and I hope you enjoy the show.

    ROYAL RUMBLE

    TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH
    The Usos v. DIY

After everything they’ve done to each other since their Backlash match, the two teams are starting just jawing at each other behind the referee. DIY turns away and heads toward their corner, and just like the start to their Backlash match start doing rock, paper, scissors to decide who’s in. The Usos shake their heads, and decide Jimmy Uso is going to start. Just as Jey is getting out of the ring, both Ciampa and Gargano run across the ring and attack both of them! They knock both of The Usos to the mat and start beating away at them, finally letting out all their frustrations. Both of the Usos grab the bottom rope and pull themselves out, going to the floor to get away. They regroup and are screaming out, very expressive, about how this is bull man.

In the ring, we see DIY looking around at the crowd and you just know they’re about to do it. They take off, hit the ropes hard and come flying back through the ropes for a SUICIDE DIVE! Both of The Usos are taken out into the barricade, and Johnny grabs Jimmy and rolls him right into the ring then follows. The bell rings as soon as they’re in and Johnny covers … One! Two!! Kick out!! Ciampa is back up on the apron and we cut to see Jey sitting on the floor against the barricade holding his head. Gargano isn’t going to wait, grabbing Jimmy by the head and dragging him over to the corner. He holds Jimmy up and Ciampa tags his back. Ciampa runs across the ring to the corner, Johnny gives a snapmare takedown to Jimmy to leave him in a sitting position where Ciampa runs in and knees him right in the face hard! Ciampa catches himself on the turnbuckles, his arms hanging over and screams out to the crowd! He turns to cover! ONE! TWO!!! KICK OUT!!

Ciampa tags Gargano back in and grabs Jimmy, who’s reaching out for his corner but unable to move forward any. He picks him up, grabs his head and pulls it down to smash it into his knee. The force has Jimmy fly back to a standing position, but groggy and stumbling as Johnny launches over the top rope and twisting into a SLINGSHOT DDT! Jimmy looks to be out cold! Johnny sits up on his knees and raises his fist to the crowd, then covers again ONE!! TWO!!! THRE-KICK OUT!!

Shocked, Gargano stands up and tags Ciampa. The two are having their way here in the match, but it appears Jey is starting to get to his feet. They work together to position Jimmy into the corner just to the side of their own and Johnny hops over the top rope and to the apron then goes to the corner. Ciampa runs to the opposite corner of Jimmy and the two point for their combo. Johnny starts running, but before Ciampa can his legs are taken out by Jey on the outside! He’s dragged out of the ring! Johnny goes to finish with his enzuiguri on Jimmy, but Jimmy stumbles out of the corner and Johnny flies over the top rope and to his feet just inside the ring. Jimmy turns and swings at Johnny, but Johnny ducks it and hits a massive forearm to the face! Jimmy stumbles a bit and Johnny seems to be thinking a big move as he runs past Jimmy and off the ropes, BUT AGAIN, JEY CATCHES A DIY MEMBER AND PULLS HIM TO THE MAT AND PULLS HIM OUT! Johnny is a bit confused as he spins for a moment, turns to see Jey and takes a forearm shot to his face that makes him stumble a step backward. Jey elbows back and hits Ciampa in the bridge of the nose. JOHNNY GARGANO GOES FOR THE SUPERKICK, BUT JEY DUCKS IT AND GARGANO SUPERKICKS CIAMPA’S HEAD RIGHT OFF!! HE LOOKS DOWN AND HOLDS HIS HEAD IN SHOCK! HE TURNS AROUND AND JEY USO NAILS JOHNNY WITH A SUPERKICK OF HIS OWN!!

Jey starts screaming out to the crowd, pounding his chest, then turns and leaps onto the apron and stomps on the steps to get Jimmy’s attention. Jimmy has stumbled and fallen to the mat, but is close enough to reach out, lunge forward a bit and tag in Jey. He rolls out of the ring, while Jey jumps off the apron and goes over to grab Ciampa and roll him into the ring. He follows and immediately into the cover with his forearm across Ciampa’s face -- ONE! TWO!! KICK OUT!

Jey nods and gets up, stomping a bit at Ciampa’s torso and back to wear him down a bit. Ciampa starts crawling away, and Jey walks over and stomps on his hand. Ciampa screams in agony, and Jey raises his arms then jumps up and stomps hard on Ciampa’s hand! Ciampa gives a scream and rolls around the ring holding his hand while Jey marches around gloating. Ciampa gets over to a corner and sits there looking at his hand. Jey measures him up, turns and sees Gargano trying to get onto the apron and runs and hits him with a hip attack that knocks him off to the floor again. He runs over to the corner, then runs at Ciampa sitting in the opposite corner and goes for his corner hip attack, but Ciampa moves. Jey hits the turnbuckle hard and stumbles forward a bit, holding his hip! Ciampa starts crawling away on his hands and knees UNTIL JIMMY USO COMES RUNNING IN OUT OF NOWHERE AND DROPKICKS HIM IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! CIAMPA SLUMPS OUT OF THE RING UNDER THE ROPES AND TO THE FLOOR!

Jimmy rolls out as well and walks up to him, the referee screaming at him to get away. Jey rolls out and walks over to Jimmy and the two fist bump then look out to the crowd with a smirk while we see Gargano and Ciampa are laid out on opposite sides of the ring. Ciampa is trying to get up, holding his head gingerly due to his hand also hurting. The Usos both grab him and each grab an arm, slinging him forward as if to whip him ahead then pulling him back hard and landing him back and neck first into the barricade!! The sound of the barricade is an awful thud, and the crowd lets out a collective gasp. The referee is trying to talk the two into getting back into the ring, but they’re having way too much fun now. They grab Ciampa and drag him over toward the steps where they sit him up against them and then start strutting back toward the timekeeper, trash talking the fans as they walk. BOTH MEN TURN AND RUN AT CIAMPA GOING FOR A DEVASTATING HIP ATTACK, BUT AS THEY COME NEAR, JOHNNY GARGANO IS SEEN HAVING RUN AROUND THE RING OPPOSITE AND JUMPS UP TO THE TOP OF THE STEPS AND FLIES OFF HITTING BOTH USOS WITH A SPEAR!!!

All four men are down as the crowd is chanting “This is Awesome!” for them. The first man to his feet is Ciampa, though barely as he staggers around a bit. Jey Uso is able to get up using the apron and roll into the ring. Ciampa notices and follows. Jey is up and turns to find Ciampa standing beside him. Ciampa hits a HUGE open hand slap on Jey’s chest that lights him up. Jey high steps around the ring in pain, and Ciampa follows, pulling his arms back from protecting the chest and hitting ANOTHER big slap! Jey falls back a couple steps, comes back forward and punches Ciampa in the face. Ciampa staggers a step or two then steps forward and hits ANOTHER big slap! Jey is in immense pain by the look of things, but he steps forward into it and CHOPS Ciampa across the chest! Ciampa steps back, turns to Jey and screams out “COME ON!” then starts with a FLURRY of slaps over and over and over, backing Jey into the corner!! The referee has to grab Ciampa and pull him off of Jey, who is cowering in fear and in pain.

Ciampa is feeling the energy now, getting the crowd pumped up as he looks over at Jey getting up in the corner. He sees Gargano get up in the opposing corner and realizes the opportunity here. They both run and THE NAIL THE ENZUIGURI/KNEE COMBO TO JEY!! CIAMPA THROWS HIM TO THE MAT AND COVERS! ONE!! TWO!! THRE-JIMMY PULLS CIAMPA’S LEG AND BREAKS UP THE PIN!!!

Jimmy pulls Ciampa out of the ring and then sees Johnny running at the steps to use them to launch off. He throws Ciampa at the steps, and the force knocks them loose just as Johnny is stepping on them and knocks him off the steps! Ciampa winces in pain as Johnny is able to quickly get back up, but is met with a monstrous clothesline from Jimmy that turns him inside out! Jimmy then turns and runs at Ciampa and HE HITS THE HIP ATTACK ON CIAMPA INTO THE STEPS! CIAMPA’S HEAD WAS CRUSHED AGAINST THE STEEL STEPS!! HE GRABS HIM AND TOSSES HIM INTO THE RING, STARTS SCREAMING FOR JEY TO MAKE THE COVER!! JEY CRAWLS AND GETS AN ARM OVER!! ONE!!! TWO!! THRE-KICK OUT AGAIN!!

The Usos can’t believe it and neither can the crowd, really! Jimmy starts pounding on the top turnbuckle, screaming for his brother to come on! Jey gets the tag to Jimmy, and he starts climbing to the top rope! He gets up there AND LAUNCHES FOR THE SPLASH!! BUT CIAMPA MOVES AND JIMMY SPLATS AGAINST THE CANVAS!! JEY IS OUT ON THE APRON, BUT SLOWLY CLIMBING BACK TO HIS FEET AND SCREAMING FOR JIMMY TO GET UP!! CIAMPA IS ABLE TO GET UP, TURNS AND BLOCKS A PUNCH FROM JEY AND HITS HIM WITH HIS OWN! HE TURNS TO JIMMY ON HIS FEET, WHO TURNS AND CIAMPA HITS HIM WITH A HEADBUTT!!! The old rule to never headbutt a Samoan seems true -- EXCEPT BOTH MEN FALL TO THE MAT HARD!! Jimmy is able to start crawling first, but Ciampa starts making his way to the corner as well. Jimmy gets the tag to Jey! Jey runs into the ring, and Ciampa dives out to the empty corner of DIY -- BUT JOHNNY GARGANO HAS MADE IT THERE AND THE TAG IS MADE!!

Johnny jumps into the ring and blocks a punch from Jey! He hits a right! Another right! He backs Jey into the ropes and then goes to whip him across. Jey reverse and throws Johnny, who jumps and catches himself on the top rope, hits a dropkick to Jimmy standing on the outside to knock him down! He turns and Jey is running at him AND JOHNNY HITS THE SLINGSHOT SPEAR ON HIM!! HE GOES FOR THE COVER IMMEDIATELY!! ONE!! TWO!!! THREE --- NOO!!!! KICK OUT!!! JEY JUST MANAGES TO KICK OUT!!

The adrenaline gone, Johnny falls back to the mat for a moment, breathing heavily. Ciampa is back up to his feet on the apron and calls for Johnny to come tag him. Johnny gets to his feet and before he can even think of making a tag, Jimmy Uso is getting into the ring and Ciampa in after him! Ciampa runs at Jimmy and dives, tackling him down and out of the ring! Johnny starts to focus again on Jey, grabbing his hair and trying to pull him up, but Jey is dead weight. It appears his last kick out was purely out of instinct. Johnny is able to drag him to his feet, and Jey tumbles backwards to the ropes and hold himself up on them. Johnny runs at Jey, but Jey is up now and ducks down and flips Johnny over the top rope! On the outside, Jimmy is able to push Ciampa away into the barricade injuring that back even further! Johnny lands on the apron, jumps and hits a side kick to Jey to knock him back! He sees Jimmy coming at him and goes for a superkick to him, but Jimmy catches Johnny’s leg AND TOSSES IT BACK TO LAND HIM FACE FIRST ON THE APRON!! HE BOUNCES HARD, LIFTS HIS HEAD UP AND JIMMY SIDESTEPS SUDDENLY AS CIAMPA COMES RUNNING IN FOR A KNEE AND HITS JOHNNY RIGHT IN THE HEAD WITH IT INSTEAD!! CIAMPA REALIZES WHAT HE’S DONE AND LOOKS IN SHOCK, WHILE JEY CAN BE SEEN SLIDING OUT OF THE RING AND RUNNING OVER! CIAMPA TURNS TO HIS SIDE AND IS HIT WITH THE DOUBLE SUPERKICK!!!

Jey pushes Johnny back into the ring and slides in himself, rolling Johnny’s dead weight over and covering. ONE!!! TWO!!!

    Spoiler:

THREE -- NOO!!! JOHNNY MANAGED TO KICK OUT!!! HE’S GOT SOME FIGHT LEFT IN HIM!!

The crowd is at a fever pitch for the opening match, and seems to be rightfully so. Jey looks to be in shock as he scoots himself away on his ass back to his corner and tags in his brother. Jimmy comes in and goes immediately to put Johnny into the Tequila Sunrise! Johnny looks to be in immense pain, screaming in agony trying to find a way out when Ciampa suddenly runs in and hits Jimmy over the back to break the hold! Jey uses the ropes to get up and run at Ciampa, who ducks and catches Jey’s arm, turns him toward him and starts smacking and punching him over and over to back him up a couple steps then jumps and nails an enzuiguri! Jey drops like a sack of potatoes!!

Ciampa grabs Johnny by the arm and drags him over to the corner, hops out and tags himself in! He goes running in at Jimmy getting up in the corner and hits a European Uppercut! He sees Jey getting up as well and runs at him to hit another! He runs back at Jimmy and hits another! He runs at Jey and GETS HIT WITH A SUPERKICK!! HE STUMBLES, TURNS AND JIMMY LIFTS AND PLANTS HIM FOR A SAMOAN DROP!! THE COVER!! ONE!! TWO!! KICK OUT!!

The Usos can’t believe it! They both hold their heads in shock, and Jey screams out “Get him, Uce!” then starts watching Johnny laying on the mat in the DIY corner. Jimmy grabs Ciampa’s arm, twists around and locks in Tequila Sunrise on him! It’s excruciating for Ciampa and we’re reminded now of all the punishment his back and neck has taken against the steps and barricade as his contorted backwards. Johnny starts to get up and runs to go save his partner, but Jey lifts him and tosses him back at the corner. Johnny lands on his feet, runs as hard as he can AND JUST AS CIAMPA IS ABOUT TO TAP, JOHNNY HITS A MISSILE DROPKICK TO JEY’S CHEST THAT SENDS HIM FLYING INTO JIMMY AND BREAKING THE HOLD!!

Johnny rolls backwards to the corner and Jimmy finds out what happened, sees Jey on the mat struggling to get up from the beating of this match. He runs at Johnny AND JOHNNY IS ABLE TO DODGE, HOOKING JIMMY AND ROLLING HIM THROUGH BACKWARDS!! JOHNNY ROLLS WITH HIM TO THE CENTER OF THE RING WHERE HE HITS A KICK STRAIGHT TO THE FACE!! AND CIAMPA IS BACK UP AND RUNS TO HIT A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT THAT HELPS TAKE JIMMY DOWN!! HE ROLLS OVER INTO THE COVER!! ONE!!! TWO!! THRE-JEY BREAKS IT UP!!!

Jey uses the ropes to get up, swings at both members of DIY, but they’re angry and feeling it now. Johnny ducks a clothesline and hits a Superkick to Jey that knocks him back, spinning and Ciampa clotheslines him over the top rope and to the outside!! The crowd starts cheering as they know what’s coming, and Ciampa and Gargano stomp around the ring, smacking the turnbuckles and egging them on as they look to see JIMMY USO IN THE CENTER OF THE RING, GETTING UP SLOWLY!! THEY RAISE THEIR ARMS ABOVE THEIR HEADS!! THEY RACE FORWARD AND NAIL JIMMY WITH MEET ME IN THE MIDDLE!!! CIAMPA FALLS INTO THE COVER, AND JOHNNY PUSHES DOWN FOR GOOD MEASURE!! ONE!!! TWO!!! JEY IS SLIDING INTO THE RING!! THREEE!!!!!! IT’S OVER!!!

GREG HAMILTON || Here are your winners! The team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa! D! I! Y!

Jey lays face down in the ring, reaching out to try and stop the pin but he hadn’t made it. Ciampa jumps up and he and Gargano hug tightly, tackling each other to the mat!

“YOU CAN LOOK, BUT YOU CAN’T TOUCH!

After a couple of segments for Monday Night Raw, including a match, we cut back to the ring for the entrance of Nikki Bella and Alexa Bliss. Bella does the twirl, and Bliss puts her fist up to show the skeleton glove. They both march down to the ring with authority.

GREG HAMILTON || The following contest is a TAG TEAM MATCH set for one fall. Making their way to the ring are the team of Alexa Bliss and SMACKDOWN LIVE WOMEN’S CHAMPION NIKKIIII BEEELLLAAAA!!!

The two get into the ring and Nikki grabs a microphone, setting up her title on her shoulder.

NIKKI BELLA ||Ladies and gentlemen, tonight is what we call a joke. Becky Lynch has been tormenting the two of us like a horror villain, and you all have cheered her on along the way. She has been challenging us, demanding an opportunity she no longer deserves. She was a failure as a champion. She was unaware of her surroundings, she was a danger to the division and she was far too egotistical to understand what she had brought upon all of them.

The crowd boos Nikki pretty fiercely.

NIKKI BELLA || But fear not, because just as all the other weak links of the division, she was brought down, brought to justice by The Assassin of the Women’s Division. She was choked out, sent packing, and was never to be heard from again. And then she came back. She came back to torture us. She came back to stake her claim. She came back to pretend that she’s worthwhile. Becky, we all know you of all people, have no friends. Any friend you’ve ever had has turned on you, stabbed you in the back. And they have a great reason to.

The crowd starts booing even louder, and Alexa smirks in the corner.

NIKKI BELLA || Becky, you can come out here, do your little screamer thing. Throw your hat to the fans, be the cliche that we all know you are. But everybody knows you can’t win the big one. Everybody knows you can’t beat ME! So who is it Becky? Who’s the next one to turn on you? When’s your next big failure going to be taking center stage? We’re eager to see it.

    “WHOOOOAAAAHHHHHHOOOOOO”

Becky comes out, slowly walking out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. She stares intently down at Nikki and Alexa, absolutely pissed.

BECKY LYNCH ||You know, Nicole. I’m proud of you for doing your homework, considering you’ve usually just paid off someone else to do everything for you -- with the money or something else.

A big “oooohh” from the crowd.

BECKY LYNCH ||See, Nicole, unlike you -- I don’t have to use power to make friends. I don’t have to use scare tactics to get a partner. And in fact, all I needed to do was say we would be facing the “great assassin” Nikki Bella, and my phone blew up with volunteers. Nicole, not a single person cares for you. And like now, you’ve made a grave error. You had your chance to prove your name, be an assassin. You should’ve killed me when you had the chance. Because now, NOW you will never rest gently. You will NEVER be safe. I am coming for you every single day until I break your arms, break your spirit and TAKE BACK MY TITLE!

The crowd cheers loudly, shaking the building!

BECKY LYNCH ||You want to know who my partner is? She’s a victim of yours, of course. She’s a much smarter and better wrestler and person than you, of course.

    The crowd gives another “oooh.”

BECKY LYNCH ||And she’s here to EXORCISE YOU from the hell you’ve created in the women’s division. My partner hails from the depths of hell themself, she is a demon like you’ve never met before. Welcome ‘Crazy’ Sarah Dobson!

    *HEAVY METAL GUITAR RIFF*

The lights go down, the crowd is a bit silent as they don’t know what to expect. A red glow overcomes the arena, and the sound of a chainsaw and a woman’s laughter echoes through. The crowd starts to cheer as out comes a woman in red and black gear, with a hockey mask over her face that’s covered in hearts and dragging a knife along behind her making a screech against the stage. She pulls off the mask, the lights go out and we see only that her face is painted with glowing paint forming a heart on one cheek and a pattern around her right eye which has a glow in the dark contact in, making it pierce through the darkness at Nikki. We cut to Nikki quickly, barely able to see her in the darkness, she shifts back and forth anxiously, nervously. Sarah screams out and raises the knife, and the lights come up and the crowd starts cheering for her. Her and Becky immediately begin marching down to the ring, with her leaving the mask and knife behind for now. She has an evil smirk on her face as she slides into the ring and stares up at Nikki and Alexa, who both look uncomfortable to say the least.

    WOMEN’S TAG TEAM MATCH
Nikki Bella & Alexa Bliss v. Becky Lynch & ‘Crazy’ Sarah Dobson

“Crazy” Sarah stands opposite Nikki Bella, smirking with her eyes wide. Nikki looks somewhat perturbed, but nonetheless confident and steps forward toward her to try and assert dominance. She says “You’re a little late for Halloween,” and Sarah steps up to her, pulls her arms out from behind her and sprays a deck of cards into Nikki’s face. One sticks on Nikki’s cleavage, she pulls it up to show the Queen of Hearts that she’s been tormented with recently. She screams out as she CLOTHESLINES SARAH DOBSON HARD TO THE MAT! Nikki throws her hair back, looks at the card and flicks it away. She nods to the camera, as if to say there’s nothing special about Sarah.

AS SHE TURNS AROUND THOUGH, SARAH IS NOW RISING UP LIKE A DEMON, HER ARMS AND HEAD PULLED BACK BEHIND HER AS HER BODY FLOATS FORWARD ONTO HER FEET! SHE BECOMES HUNCHED OVER AS SHE TURNS AND SMILES AT NIKKI, WHO IS ABSOLUTELY DISTURBED!

The crowd cheers, as Sarah cracks her neck back and forth and steps toward Nikki. In fear, Nikki quickly tags in Alexa and ducks out of the ring to the floor behind her. Sarah seems to smile and laugh at this, as Alexa turns around and throws her arms out, asking “what the hell?” Nikki tells her she’s got this, not to worry. Before Alexa can even respond, Sarah grabs her by the hair and flips her backwards into the ring! Alexa lands on her chest, bounces up and onto her knees. She throws her hands out as if to ask for Sarah to hold back, but she only licks her lips and looks delighted with the response as she RUNS ALEXA OVER WITH A KNEE TO THE FACE! Sarah stomps around the ring, looking sadistic, and then once again locks eyes with Nikki Bella, who hasn’t even gotten back to the apron. Alexa reaches out for her partner, with clear space, but Nikki looks terrified to come back.

Becky claps on the apron, cheering on her surprise partner, and Sarah grabs Alexa by the hair and tights to pull her to her feet. She spins her around a couple of times, then throws her head and shoulder first into the middle turnbuckle beside Becky! Alexa grabs at her neck as Sarah looks up at Becky and the crowd starts cheering wildly. Sarah looks around to the crowd, reaches her hand out and Becky tags herself in! She steps in and quickly goes to work just stomping away at Alexa as the referee is trying to convince “Crazy” Sarah to get to the apron, but she is salivating at the sight of Alexa being dominated. Becky turns around, screams out to the crowd and they cheer with her. Alexa starts to get up, Becky grabs her arm and pulls her in, hooking her arm and THROWING HER FOR A MASSIVE BEXPLODER SUPLEX!! Alexa rolls around on the mat a bit until Becky gets over for the cover -- ONE!! TWO!! KICK OUT!

Standing up, Becky throws her hands on her hips and turns around, seeing Sarah now on the apron but bouncing back and forth like a lunatic. Nikki still looks dumbfounded, but is now strategizing as she reaches into the ring and grabs Alexa, dragging her out. Getting in close, we can hear Nikki say let’s go, and they walk over to grab the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship and start walking away with their heads down. Becky throws her hands out, and Sarah looks pleased as she jumps down off the apron and stands at the bottom of the ramp waiting for them. They come around the post and see her waiting for them and both their eyes get wide. They turn around, start walking that way and Becky slides out of the ring on the other side of Sarah and they stop dead in their tracks. The fear has overcome them as they then choose to run into the ring, both sliding in AND BOTH SARAH AND BECKY GIVE CHASE SLIDING IN TO THEIR SIDES! JUST AS NIKKI AND ALEXA GET UP, THEY’RE MET WITH MASSIVE CLUBBING BLOWS OVER THEIR BACKS AND DRIVEN INTO OPPOSITE CORNERS! SARAH IS THROWING WILD PUNCHES AT ALEXA, BECKY FINALLY HAS HER HANDS ON NIKKI! THEY LOOK BACK AT EACH OTHER, GO TO WHIP THE TWO INTO EACH OTHER AND IT’S REVERSED, BUT THEY DOSIE-DOE AND FLY BACK AT THEIR RESPECTIVE OPPONENT WITH MASSIVE CLOTHESLINES!! THEY BOTH SCREAM OUT TO THE CROWD TO A HUGE CHEER!

Becky grabs Alexa, who’s still legal, pulls her to her feet and then slams her down hard with the pumphandle suplex! Alexa starts to get on her hands and knees and SARAH RUNS OFF THE ROPES, COMES BACK DOING A CARTWHEEL, HANDSTAND AND GOES TO SLAM HER KNEES INTO THE BACK OF ALEXA’S HEAD -- BUT ALEXA PUSHES OFF HARD AND ROLLS OUT OF THE RING TO RECOVER!! Sarah hits hard, but is able to get back to her feet. Becky sees both Nikki and Alexa standing on the outside of the ring, bounces a bit and then runs off the ropes opposite, she seems to be going for a suicide dive -- AND SARAH STEPS IN FRONT OF HER AND THROWS HER WITH A BACK BODY DROP INTO BOTH NIKKI AND ALEXA!! ALL THREE WOMEN ARE DOWN, AND SARAH STANDS INSIDE THE RING LOOKING DEMENTED!

The first up is, of course, Becky, who grabs Alexa and rolls her into the ring. She follows with a pin ONE! TWO!! KICK OUT!! Becky grabs Alexa, throwing her into an open corner and keeping her standing there. She walks over, drives her boot into Alexa’s chin and holds there as she stares down as Nikki getting up on the outside. Alexa starts to fall toward the mat, but catches herself. Becky steps back, screams out to the crowd “STRAIGHT FIIIRRRREEE!” She runs at Alexa and jumps for the STRAIGHT FIREARM! BUT ALEXA DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY AND BECKY HITS THE TOP TURNBUCKLE HARD WITH HER HEAD AND NECK!! Suddenly, seeing an opportunity, Nikki runs over to her corner and jumps onto the apron, grabbing the tag rope and reaching out. The crowd boos her as they see her game, but Alexa is just happy to get out of the ring finally and tags Nikki in. Nikki runs over, kicks Becky in the head and taunts Sarah a bit on the apron. Sarah tries to come into the ring after her, but Nikki backs away and the referee holds Sarah back. Nikki goes over and steps on the back of Becky’s head, holding herself up on the ropes and utilizes the entire five count to her advantage to get in the most damage!

At this point, it’s all Nikki. Becky starts to get to her feet using the ropes, and Nikki pushes her into the top rope then harshly pulls it back into her throat, driving Becky to the mat and gasping for air! Nikki runs over for the pin ONE! TWO!! KICK OUT! She grabs Becky by the hair to pull her up to her feet, holds her in a front facelock and looks over at Sarah. She screams something at her, but we can’t make it out completely. She then twists Becky around for A VICIOUS NECKBREAKER! BEFORE PINNING, SHE TAUNTS SARAH A BIT AND GOES FOR A LAZY PIN, BUT SARAH COMES RUNNING INTO THE RING AND NIKKI SUDDENLY GOES RUNNING AWAY FROM SARAH, SCREAMING “HEY HEY HEY!” THE REFEREE GRABS SARAH AROUND THE WAIST, BUT THE FORCE SPINS THEM AROUND TWICE WITH SARAH REACHING OUT, CLAWING FOR NIKKI BUT UNABLE TO REACH HER!!

The referee forces Sarah back to the apron as Nikki waves to her sarcastically. She sees Becky getting up to her hands and knees, and she looks around. She screams out that you should fear the assassin as she runs and HITS A SICKENING KICK TO THE SIDE OF BECKY’S HEAD!! BECKY GOES LIMP IN THE RING!! SARAH IS TRYING TO GET BACK IN, BUT THE REFEREE ISN’T ALLOWING IT AS BECKY SEEMS OUT COLD! NIKKI SEES SARAH FIGHTING AND THEN ALEXA COMES UP BEHIND HER AND PULLS HER OFF THE APRON. SARAH TURNS AND STARES ALEXA IN THE EYES AS NIKKI RUNS AND HITS A BASEBALL SLIDE TO THE SIDE OF SARAH’S HEAD THAT DRIVES HER BACK INTO THE BARRICADE!!

Nikki rolls out of the ring and walks up to Sarah, mouthing off to her. She calls her a creep, a loser, a freak. She says this is for everything you’ve done over the past few weeks. She and Alexa both grab Sarah by the arm and then WHIP HER HARD INTO THE STEEL STEPS AND MAKES THEM GO FLYING!! SHE SCREAMS OUT IN PAIN AS THE TWO HIGH FIVE! Nikki goes into the ring to the still limp Becky Lynch and rolls her over, smiling to the crowd as she pins her ONE!! TWO!!! TH-KICK OUT!!

Nikki looks stunned that Becky kicked out and looks down in anger at her, throwing a few forearms into her face. She stands up, walks over and tags Alexa in, telling her to “end her now.” Alexa walks over and grabs Becky by the hair, starting to pull her up, but BECKY PULLS HER INTO A SCHOOLBOY PIN -- ONE!! TWO!! KICK OUT!! Alexa gets to her feet first, Becky is to one knee as Alexa kicks her right in the chest! Becky falls back a bit, and Alexa runs and hits a missile dropkick to the chest that knocks Becky flat! Grabbing Becky, she pulls her to her feet, puts her in a front facelock and calls for a DDT. BUT BECKY SPINS OUT OF IT, HOLDS THE WRIST AND PULLS ALEXA IN FOR A FOREARM SHOT TO THE FACE! AND BECKY HOLDS ONTO THE WRIST!! SHE PULLS ALEXA IN FROM HER KNEE AND HITS ANOTHER FOREARM SHIVER! ALEXA IS BARELY HOLDING HERSELF UP, AND BECKY PULLS HER IN, ALEXA GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE REVERSAL, BUT BECKY DUCKS IT AND CATCHES HER IN POSITION, THROWS HER FOR A PUMPHANDLE SUPLEX!!!

    Spoiler:

Both women are down and out, and both begin to crawl to their respective corners. Alexa gets the tag to Nikki and she comes running in, grabbing Becky by the ankle and pulling her back from the corner where Sarah has gotten to the apron and is reaching out, smiling every time she winces from the pain in her shoulder and back. Nikki continues to look up at Sarah, just as a precaution with the insane one on the apron, and Becky is able to get vertical. She hops around and goes for an enzuiguri, but Nikki ducks it! Nikki then sees the position she has Becky in and looks down. She grabs the laces from her top and pulls them out, the crowd starts screaming, booing her, knowing what’s coming up now. Nikki reaches around Becky and goes to lock in her chokehold, using the laces for extra leverage in this case, while staring up at Sarah. BUT BECKY IS ABLE TO USE THE MOMENTUM OF HER LOCKING IT IN TO FLIP NIKKI OVER HER!! NIKKI LANDS HARD ON THE MAT, BOUNCES UP, TURNS AROUND AND IS MET WITH THE STRAIGHT FIREARM SHOT FROM BECKY!! NIKKI ROLLS AROUND A BIT, GETS TO HER FEET AND FALLS INTO HER CORNER AS BEHIND HER BECKY GETS THE TAG TO “CRAZY” SARAH DOBSON!!!

Nikki turns and knows what’s happening, and reaches out for Alexa. Alexa stands outside the ring, staring up and tells Nikki not to worry, she’s got this. Alexa looks scared as Sarah steps up, throwing her legs out wide a bit, behind Nikki. Nikki turns and Sarah goes on the offensive! She drives her shoulder into Nikki’s sternum! Hits her with another shoulder block into the gut there! She grabs Nikki and pulls her out of the corner for a short-arm clothesline, then as she gets up knocks her down with a back elbow! KALISTO || Did you get it?

TYE DILLINGER || Yeah! I got my number! I have a good feeling about this.

KALISTO || Yeah, I’m not really in a good spot. I’m hoping to survive for the most part.

TYE DILLINGER || Come on man, you have to believe in yourself. Look at what you’ve overcome recently.

    Kane walks into the picture.

TYE DILLINGER ||Oh uh, hey man, how’s it going?

Kane doesn’t respond but we can see in the background somebody grab the ball Dillinger sat down, and sit another one there.

TYE DILLINGER || Oookay. Uh, so I have to get moving. We’re getting pretty close here. I’ll see you at the end, man!

    SMACKDOWN LIVE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
    The Revival © v. Breezango

Scott Dawson starts the match up against Fandango, who walks up chewing likely gum with his aviator sunglasses. He looks Dawson up and down and goes to say something, but Dawson immediately CATCHES HIM WITH A HARD RIGHT THAT MAKES THE GLASSES FLY OFF AND HIS GUM GO FLYING OUT OF HIS MOUTH! Breeze is seen shocked in the background at the corner as Dawson steps up and says “This isn’t make believe, fairy tail land anymore. This is the WWE, this is OUR house and we ain’t playin no games!”

Fandango looks pissed as he turns back and swings for a hard right of his own, but Dawson blocks it and smacks him again! Dango stumbles backward to the corner and Dawson follows, stomping into his gut a few times and smacking him again. He walks out to the middle of the ring and starts taunting the crowd, saying this is what reality is like when it comes crashing down on you. The crowd starts cheering, and Dawson doesn’t understand why though. He turns around and Fandango has walked out of the corner to face him and smacks him across the face! He starts laying into him with punches knocking him back to the ropes and throwing an onslaught at him showing how pissed off he got from the utter disrespect! Breeze is cheering him on on the apron, screaming for him and Santino is pounding the mat!

Dango grabs Dawson and pulls him over to the corner before stomping into his gut a few times. He tags in Breeze, then grabs Dawson by the legs and takes him down. He drops back to throw Dawson forward, but Dawson seems to be well prepared, blocking a punch by Breeze and smacking him hard across the face to knock him off the apron. He holds the ropes to pull his legs out of Dango’s arms and stomps right in the center of his chest! He keeps his hold on the top rope and stomps away at him over and over, just beating him down. He decides to make it worse, putting his foot into the throat and jaw of Dango and digging it in, using the ropes for leverage while Dango kicks the mat trying to get free.

Dawson looks around, understandably angry over the attempted attack by Dango. He walks over and tags in Dash to get a moment to check his mouth in case it’s bleeding. Dash drops off the apron and walks around the ring, where Santino is checking on Breeze. Dawson walks over and continues to attack Dango in the ring while Dash grabs Breeze and the referee counts both men out ONE! TWO! Dash tosses Breeze into the barricade hard! THREE! He grabs Breeze and lifts him up for a belly-to-back suplex and lands him across the top of the barricade! FOUR! FIVE! He decides to relent, grabbing Breeze by the head and throwing him into the ring then following as the referee has finally cleared Dawson and Dango. Dash covers -- ONE!! TWO!! KICK OUT!!

Dash shakes his head, grabs Breeze by the hair and pulls him up a bit just to knock him back down with a harsh right hand. He does it again and again, knocking Breeze back hard. Breeze is reaching out for the ropes, or a tag, or even for Santino just stood outside the ring there screaming for Breeze to fight back for his life. Dash looks over and spits at Santino, who takes a step back and shakes his head. Dash laughs, grabbing Breeze by the leg and drags him over to the corner where he tags in Dawson. Dash locks Breeze’s leg in a knee bar type hold while Dawson steps in, walks a couple steps and drops an elbow right across the back of Breeze! He rolls him over and hooks both legs for the pin -- ONE!! TWO!! KICK OUT!

Dawson stands up and grabs the top rope, stomping a bit on Breeze’s chest and back as he rolls over. He tags Dash in and Dash gets in then jumps up to the second rope as Dawson grabs Breeze and pulls him to his feet. He picks him up, side slams him over the knee and then Dash hits a leg drop that makes Breeze flip over backwards. Dash quickly covers -- ONE!! TWO!! KICK OUT! It appears Breeze’s resilience is frustrating Dash and Dawson as they decide it’s time to really punish him. Dash drags Breeze into the corner and into a seated position and starts stomping at him hard! The referee counts to four and Dawson tags in and jumps in and starts stomping away as well! At the count of four, Dash tags in and goes back to work. IT’S CLUBBERING TIME!! Dawson tags in and Breeze is nearly laying in the corner, so Dawson hangs over the top rope and drives his boot into Breeze’s jaw as he smirks out to the crowd. He relents and walks around the ring a bit, turning to see Dango up in the corner and waves at him. He goes over and grabs Breeze, lifting him up to his feet and having him bent over as Dash tags in. Dash jumps over the top rope for a sunset flip, but before getting into the pin, they hold Breeze up AND DAWSON FLATTENS HIM WITH A MASSIVE LARIAT!! INTO THE PIN! ONE!! TWO!! THR-KICK OUT!!

The Revival looks stunned that Breezango are still managing to put up a fight in this contest and shake their heads. They both go up and start stomping at Breeze to try and keep him down and then walk around the ring grabbing at their heads in disbelief. Suddenly, Dawson turns and runs and swings at Dango! He knocks him right off the apron and to the floor hard! Dawson looks pissed as he adjusts his elbow pad and stomps around the ring with Dash. They see Breeze starting to get up and line up, clearly done with this match that they find ridiculous. Breeze turns and stumbles toward them, they lift him up AND NAIL HIM WITH THE SHATTER MACHINE!! BREEZE BOUNCES FROM THE IMPACT AND ROLLS TO THE SIDE OF THE RING!! DASH IS QUICK TO COVER -- ONE!! TWO!! THREE!!

WAIT! SANTINO PUT BREEZE’S FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! THE REFEREE SEES THE FOOT, CALLS IT OFF!

The Revival are stunned for a moment, before looking over and realizing that Santino was right there and he must’ve done it. Dawson runs and slides out of the ring after him and Santino starts running! Dash slides out the other side to cut him off. Dawson runs after Santino AND IS STUNNED BY FANDANGO HIDING BEHIND THE STAIRS THERE WITH A CLOTHESLINE!! Dango turns and squares up with Dash, holding his fists up and screams “FREEZE DIRTBAG!” The fans let out a huge cheer as Dash starts backing away a bit with his hands up. We see Breeze starting to get up in the ring, dizzy and stumbling around. He turns and sees Dash there by the apron and sees Dango nod to him. He runs, AND GOES FOR A BASEBALL SLIDE!! BUT HE MISSES! BREEZE MISSED HIS SHOT! HE’S DIZZY ON THE FLOOR, SPINS AND DASH GRABS HIM BY THE HEAD AND THROWS HIM INTO AND OVER THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!

Dango runs at Dash and tackles him down! He starts pounding away at him, and Dash rolls over to try and get away. Dango grabs his arms and hooks them in like he’s under arrest and starts kneeing him in the lower back! Dango gets up to the roar of the crowd and sees Breeze battered and trying to use the table to get back to his feet, but struggling. He and Santino run over and start helping as we finally start to hear the referee count ONE! TWO! THREE! They’re dragging Breeze back out from the table, he’s absolutely exhausted. FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! Dash has rolled back into the ring, but he looks pretty beaten down himself. EIGHT! NINE! They manage to get Breeze into the ring just in time!! Dango screams for Breeze to get over to the corner!! Breeze starts crawling over slowly, clearly still feeling the effects of the Shatter Machine earlier let alone the throw into the table after his miss.

Dash is crawling to his corner, where Dawson is getting up. Dawson tags in! He runs over to stop Breeze and just manages to grab his leg and keep him from the tag! Breeze is able to get up to a standing position, but just can’t quite reach. He turns and jumps and hits an enzuiguri to Dawson that knocks him to his back! He has an opening, but he seems to be rethinking it. He goes over and grabs Dawson’s legs instead, thinking to go for the slingshot they did earlier. But Dawson fights back, kicking Breeze off and into Dango! It knocks Dango off the apron, but the referee counts it as a tag it seems! Dawson is unaware as he turns and hits a drop toe hold on Breeze and Dash comes running in and hitting an elbow the back of Breeze! Dawson rolls him over and goes for the cover but is told that’s not the legal man! Dawson is furious, screaming at the referee as Dango rolls into the ring and gets up behind him. Dash is unaware, as is Dawson who turns around and gets taken down with a harsh chop! Dango turns and hits Dash with a hard left hand! He hits Dawson with a right! He kicks Dash down. He turns and creams Dawson with a clothesline and drops into the cover -- ONE!! TWO!! DANGO MOVES AS HE SEES DASH COMING IN FOR AN ELBOW DROP THAT MISSED AND HITS DAWSON INSTEAD!! DASH LOOKS DOWN AT HIS PARTNER IN SHOCK AS HE TURNS AND DANGO HITS HIM WITH A DROPKICK OUT OF THE RING!!

Dango turns and sees Dawson struggling to his feet and starts to measure him up. The crowd is cheering loudly for him as Dawson turns and he kicks him in the gut and sets him up for a suplex. FANDANGO TAKES DAWSON UP AND HITS HIM WITH THE FALCON ARROW!! HE REACHES FORWARD TO GRAB THE LEG FOR THE COVER!! ONE!! DASH THROWS SANTINO IN THE RING!! TWO!! DASH SCREAMS AT THE REFEREE ASKING WHAT SANTINO IS DOING THERE, IT BREAKS THE COUNT! THE REFEREE STARTS FOCUSING ON SANTINO, YELLING AT HIM TO GET OUT OF THE RING!! DASH SLIDES IN, DANGO TURNS TO ASK THE REF WHAT HE’S DOING AND DASH CLUBS HIM OVER THE BACK!!

Dash starts stomping at Dango’s back and head as the referee is distracted, focusing on trying to get Santino out of the ring! Dango is completely taken out at this point thanks to the assault by Dash! Dash grabs Dawson and drags him to the corner and tags himself in after the referee has finally gotten Santino to leave and Dash runs over to Dango for the cover ONE!! TWO!! KICK OUT!! He stands up and stomps again at Dango, frustrated and upset that he’s kicked out again. Breeze is up in the corner and Dash looks at him angrily as he grabs Dango. Dango reverses, grabbing Dash by the legs for a takedown and holding him steady!! Breeze tags Dango’s back! Dango slingshots Dash up, and Dash has it scouted as well and goes for the punch -- BUT BREEZE BLOCKS THE PUNCH! HE HITS DASH WITH HIS OWN AND IT LAYS DASH OUT ON DANGO’S LEGS! This is a hostage situation!” Dango puts his hands up and says “Whoa whoa, easy partner.” Breeze looks in utter shock and horror in the opposite corner from Dango. Dawson is turning back and forth between them both, and Santino says to forget about him, they have to win! Dawson tells him to shut up, and Dango says not to speak to their chief like that. As Dawson turns back and forth, Dango nods to Breeze -- IT’S HIS SHOT! BREEZE LOOKS CONCERNED, SAYS I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!

He gets to the bottom of the ramp and suddenly his smile dissipates, and he stares up at Braun standing in the ring telling him to get in.

Rather than get in, Crews simply stands at the bottom of the ramp and taunts and flexes. He continues talking about his destiny to be in the main event of WrestleMania. Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

The Royal Rumble!! My favorite pay per view of the year!

The preshow segment...wasn't really a fan, and it wasn't that it was bad, just that Dillinger came off way too silly in my opinion.

Love that you change up the style of your match writing for the big events, and that you are just as good at writing the matches in full as you are at summaries.

Great opener, both teams had a very strong showing. I know the Tag Championship match is later in the night, but this was the Tag main event as far as I was concerned. Lots of great action, and like I said, very well written. Glad DIY picked up the win and I look forward to their next step, I am assuming, the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

Nikki Bella getting the reaction she should as a heel...damn, was waaaaaay off on Becky's partner.

Sarah rising to her feet was definitely scary sounding, would love to see that in real life. Great action between the four women, little disappointing that Becky didn't get the pin, it was her rivalry after all.

Fun segment between Kalisto and Dillinger, even though I don't think Kalisto would "just want to survive". I wonder what number Dillinger has now!?!

God damn, you never fail me with the Breezango stuff. A great match, capped off with the hostage bit at the end that had me laughing the whole time. Fully expected Revival to retain, but still had me entertained.

More build to the inevitable Miz Bryan match.

Main event was match of the night, not including the rumble, as a main event should be. Action was fast paced and well described, the right man won...and an appearance by Ziggler!!

    Now. Rumble time.
    - Thought Jericho was gonna eliminate Miz quickly while he was doing the Bryan taunt, woulda been perfect justice.
    - Morrison!! Awesome.
    - My boy Kalisto!! Number 4. Awwwwwww fun showing while it lasted.
    - Damn, didn't see that elimination of Morrison happening, but it was gold.
    - Gallagher going for the handshake was great.
    - BRAAAAAAAUUN! Two quick eliminations, I'd expect nothing less.
    - HA!!! Apollo stole number 10!
    - You would think Apollo would have known Dillinger was next, it was his number after all.
    - More destruction from Braun, good stuff. Glad you are giving the Raw guys time to shine as well.
    - BARON! Shoulda seen the Braun elimination coming, it is how it went down in real life.
    - Jesus, breaking this down entry by entry is hard, Ima jump ahead.
    - Glad Kane got an elimination before being eliminated by Miz, on the other side of that, glad Miz got some revenge for the loss on Smackdown.
    - Goldberg gets his elimination on Lesnar...and is eliminated by BARON!! Huge!
    - Ambrose getting revenge on Ziggler was predictable, but good.
    - Figured you were going to set up the match that everyone seems to want, Cena Undertaker.
    - Damn, Orton with the win. I like and dislike that you kept a good bunch of the rumble match true to how it happened.

A great event. Match writing was on point, and the matches were all very exciting. Intrigued to see where you go with Orton winning, and if the championship match at Mania can stay Styles Vs Orton with Elimination Chamber happening between then and now. Excited to see what's next!

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Finally getting some comments on this monster of a Rumble. Sorry for taking so long…

I’m more than happy to open up the show with DIY and The Usos going at it. I feel like with nearly all PPV’s, but especially the Royal Rumble, you want to open with some fun, fast paced action. I can’t see any match on the card being able to do that as well as this one, so good choice for the opener. DIY attacking The Usos right off the bat really puts over how this has been built, with The Usos being a pain for so long, so I thought that was very well done. Just as I predicted, a very fast paces start with DIY looking good early, and the spot on the outside with Jey finally taking control with the Superkick on the outside was a fantastic finish to an exciting sequence. The Usos getting on top didn’t last long which I was surprised about, but after the brutal crowd barricade spot, the Double Spear from Gargano was sick. This match really hasn’t slowed down a bit so it has been a fun sprint, with some big time moves meshed in really well. The Hip Attack against the steel steps was another one, and the Headbutt causing both men to collapse was hilarious, but lead well into the hot finish. Awesome tease off the Double Superkick, I honestly thought that was going to be over. After that though, the actual finish was done well, and with the way the story has been written, DIY had to get over here. A good match to start the show, no doubt about it, which set the pace for what should be an awesome PPV. Great stuff.

A pretty good promo here from both Nikki and Becky putting over their respective characters. The differences between the two are crazy. Speaking of crazy, Sarah Dobson… Hmm, seems a little random. At least it’s something different but seeing as I don’t know her that well, I’m not sure if the big announcement has hit the mark as much as it was supposed to. Still, I’m glad you went down this route as opposed to using one of the other women who had already been attacked. Anyway, onto the match…

I LOVED the start with Nikki trying to be tough after being tormented once again with the Queen of Hearts. Dobson’s tactics straight out freaking out Nikki made sense, and Bella tagging in the just as scared Bliss is typical. With how weird Dobson is, I’m interested to see how Becky works with her, because as determined as Becky is, she’s no psycho. With this being said, I thought the fact that Becky had to tag herself into the match, rather than receiving a normal tag a smart move. Just as I say this, they all of a sudden show some actual chemistry, with the Double team moves culminating in the Back Body Drop over the top rope. Great spot. The Dobson character doesn’t seem like one that would play nice with others. I’d love to find out if these two have a past history. Nikki finally getting some of the advantage was fine, and I thought it said a lot about her character, how despite being scared shitless of Sarah, she still had to be cocky. The ending was written really well to, and in a shock twist, it was Alexa bailing on Nikki, didn’t expect that. Dobson getting the pin rather than Becky makes me wonder what’s next in terms of title opportunities as well. Maybe Becky should have got the pin here… Either way, another really fun match. You’ve really improved your match writing from the first PPV in this thread.

I want to know who stole Tye Dillinger’s number. I guess will find out when somebody else comes out at number ten. A nice little segment here to break up the seriousness of the show, I always enjoy these Rumble number segments.

Tag Team Championship match is probably the one I’ve been looking forward to the least, because I haven’t been the hugest fan of Breezango. With that being said, I’ll be going into this one with an open mind, just hoping for a good match and a Revival retain. That opening right hand from Dawson just made me love Revival so much more, and the image of the glasses and gum flying would have been great. Before getting further into the match, these two teams really are polar opposites. No thrills against all flash, they should actually mesh quite well, which is something I’ve only just realised. Breezango showing some fight early makes sense, but for the most part in the early stages, The Revival look in control. That Belly to Belly across the apron would have been brutal. Straight up domination from The Revival here, and I really thought things were over after the Shatter Machine, but Santino interferes. A nice twist there to keep the match alive. The match completely changed from here and Breeze took quite a beating before Fandango came in. From here, things pick up and it was ironic that Santino was then used to break up Breezango winning the match. Another nice twist to basically even it up at 1 a piece, next pinfall wins I think. I was really buying into this match until the ending. The goofy, comedy, take a shot part just killed what I thought was becoming a very good match until then. So happy The Revival won after that, it reminded me why I’ve disliked Breezango over the past few weeks in general… Sometimes, including in this match, the comedy tends to be in places where it’s unnecessary. These things need to be done in moderation. Anyway, still an okay match but the ending soured things for me a bit.

\Another REALLY intense interview from The Miz which I absolutely loved. Maybe the Future Deadman line was a little cheesy but outside of that, some more really good stuff here.

The beginning of this match was absolute greatness. Styles trying to get Ambrose to wrestle him, only for Ambrose to mouth “Fuck you” was sensational. As was the brief attack from Ambrose straight after this. The stalling from Styles to gain any sort of advantage was typical heel tactics, no issues there. Again, I enjoyed the contrast in offense with Styles dominating inside of the ring, but as soon as they got outside of the ring, Dean’s offense took over. Not sure if this was done on purpose or not but it works a treat for these two guys. One thing I’ve noticed with Styles’ counter of the Bulldog is how much work he’s done so far on Dean’s back. Here is hoping Ambrose continues to sell this throughout the rest of the contest. Well, he does with the Surfboard which lead to the awesome string of reversals and avoiding moves which ended with AJ landing the Pele Kick. That was probably one of the best sequences you’ve written in general, and AJ’s matches should be full of them. Another few nice patches of moves before the false finish with the Lunatic Lariat. Really good stuff here, this is the match of the night so far for sure. The ending was exciting as hell with the ref bump, and the constant counters from both men. I was a little shocked to see Ziggler still side with AJ after what occurred on SD but it makes sense I guess. Ziggler ruins the match and gives AJ the win. My only gripe on the ending would be that nearly the entire last three paragraphs were all bold and in capitals. It made it seem a bit like overkill and it was a little hard to read. Outside of that though, best match of the night. Really good job here.

Rumble time. Yay. I could only imagine how much of a pain in the ass it would have been to write this, so I look forward to seeing what you came up with. The start to this Rumble was awesome, especially with Jericho and Miz trying to out heel each other. The appearance from Morrison was great, I’m assuming he’s one of the surprise Rumble entrants? Really good stuff playing off of his former partnership with Miz as well. Poor Kalisto, he didn’t last very long. The Miz playing dead on the outside is typical heel stuff in the Rumble, fun to watch… I’m sure he would have got plenty of heat for eliminating Morrison as well. Morrison attacking Miz just reeked of being a sore loser, didn’t think that fit in with the story very well. People get eliminated all the time from behind; it’s just a part of the match. Braun coming in and immediately throwing people over the top rope was always going to happen. Braun’s domination of The Big Show is a nice stand still spot in the Rumble as well. So far, you’re incorporating all of the standard spots into the Rumble very well. Really creative stuff with Crews taking Tye’s number but then Dillinger still coming out one later. Adds even more fuel tot hat fire even if Braun eventually threw them both out rather quickly. Didn’t expect Rhyno to interfere like this, as usually only big time angles get this kind of Rumble exposure. Still, a good spot and Braun gets another elimination. Well, Big Cass didn’t last long either. Damn, Strowman is getting put over hard considering he is a Raw superstar. As usual, Kofi gets the outside of the ring but not eliminated spot which is fine.

Half way through which means new paragraph. My boy Baron Corbin is in, and eliminating Strowman alone is a huge thing for him to do. A great start to the Rumble for Baron, and I look forward to seeing how the match progresses now that Braun will no longer hold it together. The match went into a bit of a holding pattern here which is fine, and the next real big piece of business was The New Day and Cesaro and Sheamus going at it. The Cesaro Swing was a fun spot, and the numbers eventually helped The New Day, only for Corbin to go to town. All really good stuff after a brief period where not much happened. Bye Sami Zayn. Orton/Corbin confrontation was great, as was Miz going to town inside of the ring. Most clever of it all though was how you meshed both things into one, with Miz’s Baseball Slide leading Orton into being crushed through the announce table. Well written sequence there my friend. Kane coming out and gunning straight for The Miz makes sense after everything that has happened. By the way, Miz is getting put over hard by lasting this long so far. Rusev falling victim to Kane was fine, but I was really shocked to see Miz get rid of Kane so easily. Shocked in a good way though. Miz gets Cesaro as well, geez. I love that he is so furious because of his obsession with Bryan though. Great stuff.

Bray targeting Miz makes sense with some of their recent interactions. Dolph coming in and landing the Zig Zag which caused Bray to nail Sister Abigail was creative as. Well played sir. Cena and Lesnar back to back, boy this Rumble is really picking up towards the finish. Brock goes to town and HOLY SHIT! I forgot about Goldberg. Goldberg eliminating Brock makes sense, but another HUGE SCALP for Corbin as he gets to take out Goldberg. Ambrose taking out Ziggler after what occurred earlier in the night make sense, and I marked out for Corbin getting some more eliminations. Cena gets eliminated by Taker, only for Reigns to go on a rampage. Corbin being double teamed and then eliminated at least keeps him looking strong, and Miz had an awesome showing as well. I hate that all my favourites got eliminated by Reigns. The ending sequence was nice leading to Orton getting the win…

Now here is my issue, and it’s something nearly EVERYBODY who books a WWE thread falls into the trap of doing. The whole point of the Rumble is to build up new talent, lets fast track somebody to Mania and give them the chance to take on the world. Orton doesn’t need this. He’s been in enough main events, plus it doesn’t feel fresh since he’s already been involved in the title scene for months on end. One of the hardest things about getting into WWE threads is that they all have the same main events, so it feels like if you’ve read one, you’ve read most. Unfortunately, this just feels like I’ve read it before, as the amount of WWE threads where Orton wins the Rumble is countless. I don’t like the decision at all, because it means nothing is going to change on the Road to Mania. Everything is going to stay as is, as Orton probably didn’t even need to win the Rumble to get a title shot.

    Anyway, rant over…

Overall, a very good PPV. Your match writing has improved tremendously. Despite disliking your Rumble winner and the ending of the tag title match, I still think this was a pretty good event. Written very well and probably another step up from anything you’ve done in the past. Of course, I’ll continue watching the road to Mania because I enjoy this thread a lot, but I’m praying there is a change up to keep things interesting.

    Royal Rumble Review
Starting the night off with a DIY victory who would be mad with that? I am interested to see your long term plans for the team
Lynch & CRAZY SARAH DOBSON win yasss possibly hinting at a feud between Dobson & Bliss?
The Revival are still SD Live Tag Team Champions awesome

Styles and Ambrose are capable of putting on amazing matches and this one sounds just like one and I agree with Styles retaining.

    Rumble Recap
Starting off with Miz& Jericho is a good way to kick off the match
JOHN MORRISON is back in the WWE……….Awesome
Kalisto does some lucha stuff before being thrown out very quickly, shame I am a fan of his but hey he served his purpose
World’s Strongest Man comes in Morrison goes out thanks to Miz hoping to see those two feud
A Gentleman joins the rumble followed by BRAUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Braun goes on a tear eliminating three men in a short amount of time as Zayn also joins the match
Braun takes his total to 5 already awesome
Rhyno turns on Slate which costs Slater his time in the Rumble, possible feud?
Big Cass fails where aLone Wolf succeeds interesting
Corbin goes on a tear of his own as the New Day eliminate an Irishman
Few interesting eliminations here and there but Orton is still the winner which is a shame I am not a fan of two time winners as I like it when its shock first time winner

All in all a decent show mate

    Royal Rumble Review:

Awesome opening contest. A very gritty hard hitting affair. Realky glad to see DIY come out on top in this one. Well deserved win for them.

Another well written match. Not personally a fan of Nikki and Alexa teaming but I looked past that. With the surprise partner it was a little obvious who was winning but all the women got to show off some so Im glad it wasnt one sided.

I liked the ending to your tag title match. I dont know, wasnt into the drama between Fandango Breeze and Santino so i enjoyed them almost winning and Revival scoring the role up.

Soooooo glad you had AJ win. I am not a fan of Ambrose and feel he should not be WWE Champion so I am definitely behind your booking decision here. Hope to see an awesome, violent match between Ziggler and Ambrose now.

First off, I like your layout for the Rumble. Had to know as soon as Braun hit the ring he was eliminating multiple but was surprised he eliminated Big Show so quickly. Would have liked to see Tye get Apollo out or cause him to get eliminated before he was. Well im up to 7 in a row by Braun which is becoming a little redundant. Thank god for Corbin and everyone finally teaming up on him. I like the idea of all of New Day in there and the fact that theyre eliminating people together. Well damn, that didnt last long for New Day. Disappointed to see Jericho go after so long and not get eliminations. Loved the Enzo elimination!! I think Brock should have had something to do with Goldberg's elimination. Love seeing Taker get rid of Cena, but turn around and hate seeing Reigns get rid of Taker. Think Taker should have got a few minutes longer in the match.

So you came down to two people I didnt wanna see win the Rumble and its definitely strange you picked the same person that won this year.

Overall a great PPV. So well written, kept me very engaged. Loved the format of your Rumble match. Curious to see where things go with your Rumble winner and how it will differ from real life.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Whoa, a lot of comments in here for the Rumble which is extremely exciting. Thank you all for all of your fantastic feedback which trust me, is going into a lot of my decision making here. I completely understand not caring for me having Orton still win the Rumble, but that was a decision made around September/October of 2016 for me when I planned this all out to WrestleMania and started writing and banking, and the plan hasn't deviated with real life decisions from WWE. There's a plan in place, and I'm hopeful that as it comes together more and my decisions become more clear that people can understand and maybe appreciate it more. The key of the Rumble was not the winner, it's putting over some other people in different ways. We'll see how it pans out for me, and I'm excited to have people reading and hope to hear more from you as hearing things people like and don't like allows me to make changes when necessary and to learn and adapt. I love you all and all that you've done for me in just commenting at all, and I am excited to be moving forward on this with the stories lined up and hearing more of what's working and what isn't and why. Now on to the show. Just a note, I'm currently behind on writing, I have nothing for the Chamber written so it's going to be a little bit long for me to get everything up so bear with me, please.

    SMACKDOWN LIVE
    JANUARY 31, 2017

We open to a video package highlighting the events of Sunday night’s Royal Rumble from Ziggler giving a two sweet to AJ Styles to the end of Santino’s career and the dominance of Baron Corbin in the Rumble match, and end on Randy Orton standing tall at the very end, eliminating Roman Reigns. The commentary team highlights that tonight is a huge night, with Later Tonight a tag team match between American Alpha and The Wyatt Family is bound to steal the show. JBL says he isn’t sure they can when the main event tonight is the WWE Championship on the line, AJ Styles defends against Baron Corbin!

With that, Dolph Ziggler makes his way out to a chorus of boos and soaks in it. He grabs a microphone in the ring and starts talking about how this was bound to happen, let’s just face it. See, over the past few months, I’ve been watching and arguing about the opportunities that are just handed out to every Tom, Dick and Harry around here. Or more so, every John, Dean and Randy. And don’t give me that, we love you Dolph, we believed in you Dolph. Bullsh**! I’ve heard the boos, I’ve watched as you grimace and turn. None of you gave a damn about Dolph Ziggler until I came out here and kicked the head off your heroDean Ambrose! You know who cared about Dolph Ziggler? You know who’s rooting for good ole Dolph Ziggler? AJ STYLES! That’s who! So I returned the favor. I did what was right! I don’t care what you all think, I know what I did and I would do it again.

A lot of commotion is coming around from backstage, as Ambrose comes storming out from the curtains onto the stage. He’s followed by a group of security guards who are chasing after him, and as he slides into the ring to get his hands on Ziggler, they all grab him and pull him back out of the ring. It has to be at least eight of them. Shane McMahon walks out on the stage and tells Dean that isn’t happening, not on his watch. He isn’t going to let this show devolve into a chaotic mess tonight. Dolph says oh look, it’s the famed commissioner of SmackDown Live. Did you finally decide to put on your big boy pants and take charge around here? All it takes is Baron Corbin going insane, The Miz nearly killing Daniel Bryan and FINALLY Shane McMahon feels it’s worth his time to start taking charge. How freakin’ admirable! Shane tells Dolph he should watch his mouth and watch his tone, because if he wanted to, he could just release Dean Ambrose on him right this second -- but he doesn’t want to, yet. Now I’ve heard more than enough around here, I’ve heard the whining and complaining of just about every superstar on our roster. Dean deserves a fair shake, Dolph deserves his opportunities, Baron wants his due. Well tonight, Baron gets his due, but what do I do about everyone else? How about, we let you two settle this like men? Dolph says he’s sick of facing Dean Ambrose, I’ve seen him more than enough. His ugly mug makes me sick to my stomach, and I swear some of it rubbed off on my boot on Sunday. No no, I’m not getting back into another rigged match with Dean Ambrose. Shane says fine, Dolph … that’s perfectly fine because NEXT WEEK you will be going toe-to-toe with Baron Corbin! Dolph seems to get furious with this, as Dean starts laughing a bit and screams out “just you wait, the worst is yet to come! I’ll catch you eventually!”

Following a quick commercial, we have one of our largest advertised matches for the week American Alpha taking on The Wyatt Family, oddly without Bray. As shown at TLC, the two teams are very well matched and the Wyatts are able to get a modicum of control for a limited time due to their size. The sheer power of Alpha, however, gives them the advantage as the match drags on and they eventually land a pair of massive Alphaplexes that then send the Wyatts out of the ring. As they goad them in, the Man in the Burlap mask comes down to them and stands between the damaged Family members, and sudden the lights go out. DEH!

Bray Wyatt appears on the screen. He laughs momentarily, and says that this past weekend was truly a lesson for him. The world has grown more difficult by the day, people battling, warring for their egotism and their desires. No longer are people here for honor, no longer as they here as a monument to those they worship. Now it’s the story of he who desired most the glory of a victory, the shine of a title. The Royal Rumble has no victors, no, no. The Royal Rumble is filled with the deceased history of our ancestors who fought to build a better world. The Royal Rumble was filled with the justification of horrible acts and horrible deeds, a sinner’s remorse no longer attributed to a soul. American Alpha, you have been an example. You have been a shining light of sin through my valley of the darkness that is anonymity, that is foregoing your desires. I invite you, as I invite all, to join me and walk through the valley. Walk the path in the darkness, and you shall find your way. There are holes in that road, there are difficulties you shall face, but join me and I shall guide you through them to a better life. I invite you, I invite all of you to JOIN ME in the promised land. From Dolph Ziggler to American Alpha to those in true need of guidance like our lovely fireflies out there. You may have your victory tonight, for that victory is like the Royal Rumble, temporary. It shall not appease you. You have a piece to play in this world, you have a prophecy to uphold. I shall see you uphold it. Congratulations, on your victory, on your sin. It shall be the last I allow. DEH! When the lights come back on, none of the Wyatts are there and American Alpha is awarded the victory by countout, though they look confused at first and then stare off toward the screen where Bray was angrily as we fade out.

When we return, we’re backstage with Shane McMahon walking through the corridors. He’s met by Tye Dillinger who says that the Royal Rumble was the absolute last straw! He can’t stand for this anymore! That was my number, my spot. He stole it from me, he took from me the thing that mattered most. I could’ve won, you know. I could’ve gone out there at my spot, not had to attack him and I could’ve been going on to headline WrestleMania instead of Randy Orton. I want Apollo Crews in a match, tonight. Shane says he appreciates the gusto, he likes the aggression that Tye has. Before he can continue, AJ Styles comes running in to Shane, screaming his name. AJ looks frantic and nervous, Shane tells him to hold on, he’s busy.

Now Tye, Apollo has a match tonight already. In fact, up next, Apollo Crews is going to have his punishment for what he did at the Royal Rumble, he’s going to face off with Kane. Tye says NO! That isn’t good enough, that isn’t what I need. I need to rip him apart. I need to have him in that ring, just him and I, mono-y-mono and I will show him that I am the Perfect Ten! Styles again tries to insert himself, telling Shane he needs him to stop the match tonight. Shane shrugs him off real quick, and Styles tosses his hands in the air and rolls his eyes. Shane says he has an idea, how about here in two weeks, at Elimination Chamber, it’ll be you, Tye DIllinger, against Apollo Crews. Tye nods and pats Shane on the shoulder, tells him that’s all he needs. He leaves and Styles looks behind Shane to see Baron Corbin walking down the hallway looking pissed as can be. Shane turns to Styles and asks what he wants, and Styles says he’ll catch him later and runs off to get away from Corbin.

Corbin continues walking toward the camera, his leather jacket on, as we cut away to the ring. Apollo Crews is in his punishment match with Kane. Kane is looking pissed off due to his poor performance in the Royal Rumble while Crews is trying to stay away from corners and get to safety. Kane eventually catches him and is able to really batter him with a flurry of moves. He nails Crews with the Chokeslam, but before pinning him, The Miz starts talking. We find that he’s sitting on the crowd barricade, in the corner beside the timekeeper. He calls out to Kane, hey big lug, hey monster, hey moron, hey loser, hey freak. What makes you so special, huh? Why is it that Daniel Bryan chose you to face me, that he chose you as his hero, that he teamed with you and cared for you and sent you? If anything, you’re the ultimate B-Plus player. I mean, I’ve been a WWE Champion more than you. I’ve always been better than you. You grunt, you pout and you lumber around like a freak. Daniel, if you’re watching, tell me. Why do you hate me? I work hard every day, I push this brand to the next level, I am the Intercontinental Champion and the greatest superstar you have. So WHY do you try to punish me and revere this freak?!

While Kane is distracted, Crews comes up behind him and rolls him up for a quick pinfall victory. Crews runs quickly out of the ring as Kane sits up and backs up the ramp, screaming to the camera that he’s the Perfect Eleven and you’re damn right he’s the winner, like always. Dillinger has nothing on me, that zero. We focus in on Kane in the ring staring up at Crews, now pissed about that. He turns to look back at Miz, but Miz has jumped into the ring and hits Kane over the head with his Intercontinental Championship. Miz stares off to the camera and speaks directly to Daniel Bryan, he says this is only going to continue until he admits he was wrong. Until he forfeits his position, gives up his power. This, this is nothing to me. This is the joke that you’ve made SmackDown Live into after I built it to greatness! I won’t allow this anymore. At Elimination Chamber, I want Kane in a No Holds Barred match! I’ll show you what a B-Plus Player looks like! Kane is getting to his feet and Miz hooks him in for the Skull Crushing Finale to send home the message! Miz stands with the Championship in hand over Kane as we cut to the back.

We go into a dark room, almost completely black but illuminated by hanging glow sticks. It’s the room Alexa Bliss was trapped in weeks ago. From the bottom of the screen up, the now-familiar mask of ‘Crazy’Sarah Dobson comes crawling up. She’s still got the heart painted on the cheek, she rips it off and her face is dark, except for markings in glow in the dark paint and the glowing contact she has in her right eye. She looks into the camera and proclaims -- “Nikki Bella, you have learned but a small lesson in your journey. You have tortured and tormented people, yet you have the audacity to claim the role of the victim. I am here to make you a victim. I am here to give you what you’ve wished for. You have brought this hell upon you. You have been the devil in the women’s division, but you failed to realize what you’ve done. You have awaken hatred, the desires of everybody to end you. Nikki Bella, I will exorcise you from this hell. I will torture and torment you until you break. You know nothing of what’s to come. The dead will rise at your feet, and you shall be torn to a TRUE hell!” Sarah starts laughing maniacally as she bumps the glow sticks and sends them swinging around. They float all around her, illuminating her more to show red streaks on her torso then disappearing to show only her glowing right eye as in the corner it shows “NEXT!

When we return, we’re thrust to ringside where the mat is covered with a black carpet and there is a podium with a police badge emblem on the front. There is a table in the back right corner, and to the left of the podium is a large square object covered with a cloth. From the back come Breezango. The Fashion Police are solemn, Breeze taking frowning selfies and Dango trying to keep composed, adjusting his sunglasses so people can’t see the pain in his eyes. Dango is carrying a red container in his hands that has “CHIEF” written in black marker across it. They get into the ring and walk up to the podium.

FANDANGO || Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today …

Breeze wipes a tear from his eye.

FANDANGO || Are you okay, Breeze?

TYLER BREEZE || Keep going, I’m fine!

FANDANGO || We are gathered here to honor a GREAT man.

Breeze continues to have to wipe tears away.

FANDANGO || Seriously, man. You’re kind of killing the vibe.

    TYLER BREEZE || I CAN’T HELP IT!

FANDANGO || Alright, alright. Jeez. Where was I?

TYLER BREEZE || A GREAT man.

FANDANGO || Yes, yes. We’re here to honor a fallen hero, who gave his life for the greater good. A man who laid it all on the line when it mattered most, and threw himself into harm’s way, heroically getting himself captured to bring us closer together than ever, this past Sunday at the Royal Rumble.

    TYLER BREEZE ||Whyyyyy!!!

FANDANGO || Get a hold of yourself, dammit!

    “SAY YEAH!!”

Interrupting the cryfest, the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions make their way out to the stage and give a menacing scowl toward the Fashion Police. They march down to the ring shaking their heads, turning away from the fans at ringside and sliding into the ring. They grab microphones, circle around Breezango a bit. Dango steps up, puffs out his chest, but Breeze looks a bit nervous. Dash Wilder walks over to the table and grabs the red container.

SCOTT DAWSON || What in the hell do you two think you’re doing on OUR show?

FANDANGO || Look man, we don’t want any trouble.

DASH WILDER || Get a load of this, Scott! They brought out some …

TYLER BREEZE || HEY! Give that back! That’s Chief’s remains!

Breeze snatches the red container out of Dash’s hands and he raises his hands and steps back. He looks a bit confused and goes to speak, but Breeze cuts him off.

TYLER BREEZE || You two are lucky we don’t take you downtown.

FANDANGO || Yeah, you’re lucky we don’t give you the ole Big Bossman treatment.

Revival look a bit concerned, turn to each other as if they’re worried, then turn back and start laughing and pointing.

SCOTT DAWSON || You think we’re actually worried about you two?! We beat you on Sunday, we’ll beat you tonight, we’ll beat you tomorrow. We could beat you any damn day of the week. What are you going to do?

DASH WILDER || Oh yeah, we’re so frightened by the male strippers holding a canister of coffee and making hollow threats. YEAH! That’s right, it’s a Folgers container!

TYLER BREEZE || Hey, hey! Don’t you talk about chief that way!

SCOTT DAWSON || I mean, what even is this, some ridiculous painting?

FANDANGO || Easy now, back away!

Dawson lifts the cloth, tossing it off to reveal a portrait of Santino Marella in what appears to be a police outfit with full ranks. Dango responds by pulling out what appears to be a water gun.

FANDANGO || I SAID BACK AWAY!

DASH WILDER || Watch where you’re pointing that thing, bud, you’ll shoot your eye out.

SCOTT DAWSON || God, this is ridiculous. You know what, have your little pity party. We have better things to do.

Dash and Dawson turn to leave, but before they do Dawson pushes over the portrait! Breeze looks furious, tosses the Folgers container to the side and pulls out his water gun, spraying Dawson in the back. The Revival stop dead, halfway out of the ring and turn to look at Breeze and Dango with a scowl. They shake their heads, THEN UNHOOK THEIR BELTS AND RUN OVER AND TAKE DOWN BOTH MEN WITH SOME HARD CLUBBING BLOWS TO THE HEAD!

The Revival are not messing around, grabbing Dango and throwing him to the corner and Clubberin’ him hard as Breeze crawls around on the carpet a bit. As Dango is laid out in the corner, they walk over to Breeze who’s reaching for his “gun.” They kick the gun away, Breeze looks up at them and spits in Dash Wilder’s face! They start stomping at him, kicking him in the chest. Dash throws the podium to the floor as Dawson stands over Breeze screaming at him in his face.

SCOTT DAWSON || YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE A JOKE OF US?! OF OUR DIVISION?! WE’LL SHOW YOU A DAMN JOKE! WE’LL SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENS!

Dawson SMACKS BREEZE ACROSS THE FACE HARD, MAKING HIM CRUMPLE TO THE MAT!He grabs him by the hair and screams over to Dash, who’s rubbing his boot in the face of Fandango a bit. Dawson lifts Breeze, throws him up and DASH COMES IN AND THEY LAND THE SHATTER MACHINE ON HIM!! BREEZE ROLLS TO THE SIDE OF THE RING!Dango starts to get up behind them standing over Breeze and runs over and clubs them over the back! He starts fighting back, landing a punch to Dawson! A punch to Dash! He runs at Dawson! AND IS CAUGHT, LIFTED AND SPUN INTO A DOUBLE-A SPINEBUSTER THAT CRASHES THROUGH THE PODIUM WITH A LOUD SHATTERING SOUND!!!

Looking over at his partner, Dawson says let’s end this joke, it wasn’t even funny to begin with anyway. The two grab the table in the corner, Dash smacks the Folgers container off of it disrespectfully and they start dragging it out toward the middle of the ring. They grab Breeze and pull him over, laying him out on it and then go over to Dango who’s still grimacing and holding at his back and arm. As they lift him up …

    *CHROME HEARTS*

DIY comes racing out from the back! They charge the ring, slide in! Dawson and Dash meet them head on, unfinished business from TLC here as they go head to head and start wailing on each other with punches! Gargano and Ciampa start to get the upper hand, Gargano hits an enzuiguri to Dash that knocks him out and he rolls out of the ring! Ciampa and Dawson are smacking each other on the chest, but Ciampa gets the upper hand with a well placed knee! They back Dawson into the corner, go to land the enzuiguri/knee combo, but Dash grabs Dawson’s leg and pulls him out of the ring before they can! The crowd boos as the champions back up the ramp holding their heads and staring at DIY in the ring.

JOHNNY GARGANO || Hey old and the rest hold, you two think you’re so damn tough, bring it on!

TOMMASSO CIAMPA || We aren’t afraid of you, we have never been afraid of you and now that we’ve gotten rid of the Usos, you are our number one priority!

JOHNNY GARGANO || So how about …

Before Gargano can finish his sentence, from behind The Usos have come running out from the crowd and struck the two over the back! Dash and Dawson look pleased, that is until the Usos start screaming out at them and making a sign that they want the belts also. This back and forth gives DIY enough time to come up behind The Usos and attack them, hitting dual dropkicks that send them both flying out of the ring! DIY stands at the ropes screaming down that they’ve already beaten The Usos, the three teams are arguing while Breezango are still getting themselves together a bit.

    “HERE COMES THE MONEY”

Out to the stage comes Shane-O-Mac! The crowd cheers wildly for him as he tries to calm everything down.

SHANE MCMAHON || Now, now. THIS is not how MY show is going to run. No, no, no. I’m in charge around here, and I’m not letting this get out of hand. As it stands, The Revival are the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions. As it stands, DIY has already beaten The Usos on Sunday. As it stands, The Revival had to cheat to beat Breezango on Sunday.

The Revival start to look at Shane curiously, and arguing they could beat them anytime.

SHANE MCMAHON || So I’ve come up with a solution. In two weeks, at Elimination Chamber, The Revival will be defending their Tag Team Championships against … DIY!

The crowd cheers loudly for this as DIY has gotten their favor well over the past few months.

    SHANE MCMAHON || The Usos!

The crowd starts booing, a few cheers for The Club members, but mostly heat.

    SHANE MCMAHON || Breezango!

The crowd starts to cheer again, though not nearly like DIY’s.

SHANE MCMAHON || American Alpha! And The Wyatt Family! In a TAG TEAM ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH!!

The cheers go through the roof at this point. DIY are nodding in the ring, Breezango look a bit confused as they’re still getting up. The Usos nod a bit, looking around, while The Revival start screaming “WHAT! YOU CAN’T DO THAT!” Shane nods, tells everyone to enjoy the rest of the show and walks off. The Revival are pissed, fuming, screaming at him, then turn and see three of their five challengers staring up at them and look concerned and nervous. They turn and walk away as we fade out for another quick commercial.

We return to your regular recapped viewing.

Back from the commercial, we have another match lined up. The entrance of ‘Crazy’ Sarah Dobson ends up getting a ton of cheers as people start to enjoy the psychotic nature of it. She faces Britt Baker in what is essentially a squash match. Baker gets a good shot in early, Dobson is able to do her rising from the dead spot and from there takes over and lands The Exorcism (cartwheel into double knees to the back of the head) to win. After the match, she looks out into the camera, her right eye just a glow in the dark ring, and points out while mouthing Nikki Bella and smirking, licking her lips.

We cut to the back where we see Nikki was watching the match. She looks freaked out, with the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship on her shoulder. She turns and bumps into Shane McMahon. She says this is perfect, she needs Shane’s help. He can’t possibly let Sarah Dobson get near her. Have you seen her? She’s a freak! She’s too dangerous to be on SmackDown Live. Shane says he thinks that’s funny she’d say that, considering months ago he was going around saying there was a grave danger around the women’s division and it turned out to be you. Nikki says he has to understand, she can’t be around Dobson. Shane says he understands perfectly fine, and that’s why he decided that after Sunday’s great match, he’s going to make a match for Elimination Chamber. It’ll be you, defending the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship against ‘Crazy’ Sarah Dobson, Becky Lynch, and Alexa Bliss in a Fatal Fourway match! Nikki looks shocked and Shane wishes her luck, saying she’s going to need it before walking off.

We follow him, and behind him we see Nikki stomp her feet and pout before storming off. He walks past the camera, it turns to show in front of him in Baron Corbin and Dasha Fuentes walking up to him. Shane smirks, but before we can move further we hear a whisper from the side. The camera turns and shows AJ Styles hiding behind a door waving for Shane to come over to him. He tells Shane this is ridiculous how this show has gotten, his own WWE Champion has to hide to protect himself. He has to end this, put his foot down like Daniel Bryan never could and control the situation. Shane asks how he suggests that be done? AJ says that he has to put off this match with Corbin. He isn’t ready, he went through hell two days ago, it isn’t fair to him at all. Shane says he should’ve said something earlier, it’s too late now. AJ gives him a ridiculous look and the crowd cheers as Shane says he’s expected to be in the ring in five minutes. Shane walks off and we continue following.

He walks up to where Corbin is being interviewed, and we hear Corbin talking about how Randy Orton did not deserve to be the Royal Rumble winner. In a fluke, where two men had to team up at the very end, he managed to get him over the top. In a hundred freakin’ tries, it would never happen again. Randy should be thankful for what happened, but he should also be fearful. He should be afraid of what’s about to happen. I am going into that ring, I am taking what I deserve. I’m going to go destroy AJ Styles, rip him to shreds and leave as the WWE Champion and when I do, Randy Orton will wish he never won the Royal Rumble. Randy Orton will beg and plead that he isn’t forced to take up the main event of WrestleMania because he will fear having to face Baron Corbin. The whole damn locker room will. Dasha thanks Corbin for the interview, looks to the other camera and mentions how this is for WWE.com and telling people to stay up to date with information on there.

Corbin walks off, bumping shoulders with Shane as he does. He nods at him, knowingly, and Shane gives a turn of the head. The camera turns to watch Corbin walk off, and as he passes by, we see AJ leave the room he was in and look back and forth a bit. We turn back and John Cena walks up to Shane. Cena says it appears Shane has been busy tonight, and Shane says that’s the cost of chaos, but things will calm down soon. Cena says he hears Shane was watching at the Royal Rumble, which means he knows what happened. The Undertaker cost me an opportunity again, and it seems that’s all he wants to do. Well if that’s the game he wants to play, and that’s the only way I’m getting him to come out of whatever little hole he’s dug himself to hibernate in, I’m calling dibs. I want a shot, I want a WWE Championship match immediately. I’m John freakin’ Cena, I deserve it. Shane says while John’s right, he is John Cena, he does deserve it, he’s afraid at this point, we aren’t even sure who will be WWE Champion after tonight. Cena says he doesn’t care, he just needs that title to draw out the deadman and Shane says he’ll think it over. As Shane goes to walk away, we start to fade out for the main event.

Going to the ring again, AJ Styles is set to defend his WWE Championship against Baron Corbin. Styles gives it his best to stay away from Corbin early on, trying not to get caught in corners or hit with any high impact moves. Corbin starts to get frustrated, and Styles sees his opening, hitting a few good kicks to the knees as he scurries around. Eventually though, Corbin gets his hands on Styles and really makes him pay. He lands some hard punches to the midsection, a massive jab to the jaw that seems to knock Styles clear out. Corbin lands the Deep Six on Styles and gets a very close nearfall, and gets frustrated by it not resulting in his title win. As he sets up the End of Days, in comes Dolph Ziggler to again try and save the day.

However, as Ziggler goes to land a superkick to Corbin, Dean Ambrose runs in and tackles him to the mat! A gaggle of security comes running out behind him as Ambrose and Ziggler roll to the outside and continue their brawl there! Corbin lines up Styles still, no contact beng made to force a DQ, and as Styles gets up -- Randy Orton comes sliding into the ring, turns Corbin and hits the RKO! The referee is forced to call a disqualification and award the victory to Corbin, but keep the belt with Styles!

Orton and Styles look at each other, talk a little back and forth and then -- start coming to blows themselves!! Orton and Styles start brawling around, Ambrose and Ziggler get back into the ring with theirs after having beaten away security! John Cena comes running out to the ring to try and insert himself as well! He starts beating on everybody, anything he can find until he’s hit with an RKO as well! He rolls away, Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm to Orton! Ambrose grabs Styles for the Dirty Deeds but can’t land it as Styles pushes him away and Ambrose is nailed with a Superkick from Ziggler! And then in comes Corbin with a steel chair!! Corbin hits everybody with the chair! Styles! Ziggler! Then Ambrose and Cena! Orton starts to stumble to his feet, turning and Corbin sees an opportunity. He sets the chair up in a seated position and seems to line up Orton as Shane McMahon comes out and screams for everyone to just hold on!

Orton holds himself against the ropes as Shane announces that he’s sick of the main event being an all out brawl all the damn time. So to quench all of your stupid bloodthirst, we’re going to have AN ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH! In two weeks, Styles defends against Ambrose, Ziggler, Corbin, Cena and Orton! Corbin smirks, points at Shane and screams “you think that’s good enough?!” He turns and grabs Orton by the arm, pulls him in and HITS A DEVASTATING END OF DAYS TO ORTON ONTO THE CHAIR, BENDING IT BACKWARDS AND LEAVING ORTON UNCONSCIOUS AND BLEEDING IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!! Corbin stands over everybody in the ring and specifically Orton with his arms out wide, smirking at the camera as his theme plays and Shane screams for paramedics and looks concerned down at the ring. We focus in on Corbin to close out the show once again.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Nice little recap of the Rumble to begin, and it’s awesome that straight off the Rumble, we have an edition of SD with a WWE Title match, and a big time tag team affair. Almost forgot about these matches with all the focus being on the Rumble, so really looking forward to this show now.

Opening with Dolph Ziggler was a little unexpected, but the promo he cut was fine. Building off helping Styles win, it makes sense that Ambrose would be furious. I loved the idea of the security and Shane having to come out to stop Ambrose from getting his hands on Dolph. Shane and Ziggler’s back and forth was good as well, and Ziggler/Corbin for next week should be fun. My only issue here was Ambrose laughing towards the end. I don’t care how much of a lunatic he is, you just sold him as being so angry… And rightfully so, he got screwed out of the WWE Championship, so I couldn’t see him laughing at the end there. Besides that though, a pretty good promo to really begin to put the wheels in motion for a potential feud.

American Alpha and The Wyatt’s opening in ring action was awesome, but this one was really more about the angle then the match. I can’t wait to find out who the man in the Burlap Mask is… Bray interrupting this match with another golden promo. You’ve written him very well throughout, I especially enjoy how he targets a variety of different wrestlers throughout his monologue. Very, very interesting. I don’t mind this as a standalone segment however it feels like Bray and American Alpha have been doing this for months now. I’m hoping the angle progresses really soon.

Much like at the Rumble, we see some nice intensity from Dillinger here in his interaction with Shane. Wanting a piece of Crews makes sense, and their rivalry has been so good, and whilst the stealing his number spot was good last night, I don’t like that it has taken centre stage of their entire angle. I thought the build up to this was great as it was. Anyway, really looking forward to these two battling at Elimination Chamber… This feud for a mid card feud has been booked tremendously well. I can’t compliment you enough for this one.

LMAO at AJ Styles running from Corbin as per usual. Can’t wait to see Baron finally get his hands on him tonight.

I like the idea of Apollo getting a punishment match for stealing Tye’s number, this aspect of things makes perfect sense. Kane is the perfect opponent for this sort of match as well. I really didn’t expect The Miz to interact with Kane again, but boy was I wrong. Another really good promo from Miz targeting Bryan… Screw realism, those two have to fight at Mania. Outside of that though, I guess it’s smart for Miz to target Kane as he is Bryan’s friend. Really good stuff here, Kane doesn’t really lose face and it’s a big win for Crews. Well booked all around.

Sarah Dobson was a successful debut at the Rumble even if it was very left field. Her promo here in terms of what she said was pretty much spot on, no flaws with the writing. My only issue, and I think I may have mentioned this with my Rumble feedback, Dobson can’t just take the Nikki Bella feud away from Becky Lynch. That one needs to be wrapped up somehow.

You know I’m not a big fan of Breezango and that continued here. Whilst the segment initially was okay, as soon as it involved the tag team champions, I was annoyed that they were involved in such a comedic segment. This was another one of those ones that didn’t quite hit the mark for me as well. Outside of the beginning though, once the brawling begun and all the other teams got involved, I enjoyed this a lot more. The tag division has been competitive as for an eternity now, so to book all the teams in an Elimination Chamber has me real excited. It feels like the tag division really deserves the spotlight, good stuff.

Dobson looks like a beast on her first night competing on Smackdown. No issues here.

Similarly to a bit of tonight’s show (which is weird), this segment felt a bit hit and miss me for me. Initially, Nikki complaining about Dobson only for Shane to basically say Nikki shouldn’t be complaining after being the mystery attacker was perfect. I even like the idea that Becky is still involved in the title picture… However I still feel like the four way announced for Elimination Chamber has come out of nowhere. I know they just had the tag at the Rumble, but I felt we needed something more over the next few shows to build tension instead of this one just being announced. Doesn’t really feel like there is a good enough reason for it.

AJ continuing to hide continues to be amusing, although we probably don’t want your champion to look to bad. Surprised The Uso’s aren’t with him tonight. I wonder if there is a reason? A nice little segment with Styles trying to get out of tonight’s match though.

Another really good promo cut by Baron Corbin. It’s no surprise that outside of The Miz, Corbin has probably been my favourite character in this thread. His past couple of months have been sensational. This interview was another really good segment, doing everything it needed to do. Bad mouthing Orton and hyping tonight’s main event.

I hate to be such a whinge but I wasn’t completely sold on this John Cena interview either. The early stages touching on The Undertaker and the Rumble, and probably wanting to get his hands on Taker was great. The issue I had here is that you made the WWE Title seem like a prop, like it’s not important. Cena, a 15 time World Champ, doesn’t want the title again to break the record and become the man, he just wants it to draw out Taker? I don’t like the angle you decided to run with here, even if it does set up the obligatory Taker mind games and appearance at Elimination Chamber.

Main event time went basically as expected. An all out brawl. Early stages with AJ trying to avoid contact made sense. Corbin looked really good again here. Ambrose stopping Ziggler from interfering was smart, however didn’t expect Orton to appear. He costs Corbin the match… Why??? A fun ending though and the announcement of the Elimination Chamber main event is a huge way to end the show.

One last criticism here is that even all the in ring matches tonight, except for a squash, ended as an angle as opposed to an actual match result. You probably need to find a way to balance that a little better.

Honestly, I was a little shocked by how many of the smallmthings I disagreed with on the show. As you know, I’m a big fan of the thread, and I don’t mind the overall direction of the thread, but there were just little things here and there I disliked. With that being said, there is still plenty of goodness happening and the Elimination Chamber card is shaping up to be a pretty strong run. Keep at it mate, I’ll be reading.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

    Smackdown Thoughts

Just a quick few thoughts on Smackdown but first I will state that like a lot of others I was surprised by Orton winning the Rumble. You imitated real life with the winner but regardless of plans I think that the Rumble is the biggest way of putting over a new talent... Orton doesn't need that kind of rub. Hell he didn't need it when he won it in 2009. But plans are plans I guess so I can live with it.

The Miz seems to be my favourite part of Smackdown right about now, alongside Corbin. Miz targeting Kane is pretty serious and I wonder if Miz is sane right now wanting to go into a No Holds Barred match with The Big Red Machine. Miz should get the win though as all arrows point towards Daniel Bryan coming out of retirement at Wrestlemania to face Miz.

Onto Corbin... tonight he showed again why he is a man to be feared. I'm hoping he comes out of the Chamber last but one and runs through everyone, with Styles watching on. There was a lot of interchangeable stories going on with Ambrose/Ziggler and Orton caught up in the Corbin/Styles match.

The Chamber is the perfect tool to put all these men to the test but my only gripe is why Orton is in there? For numbers purpose? Orton has a World title shot at Wrestlemania. That not only immediately rules Orton out of winning the Chamber from my standpoint but also why would Orton, who has been in enough Chamber matches over the years, put his body at risk when he has that shot in the bag. Would much preferred that Bray Wyatt takes the final spot in the match... and he could do so in the next week with Orton taken out by Corbin at the end.

Also Taker appearance is imminent to cost Cena the title. Deadman don't need no title.

Agree with Stojy that Becky Lynch needed a storyline end with Nikki before Sarah Dobson becomes Nikki's main problem. Would not have minded seeing Alexa/Dobson and Lynch/Nikki at the PPV with Nikki ending the feud in her favour only for Lynch's parting shot to be that she got Dobson involved with Nikki.

I also think that would have been a nice break up of matches considering there are two big multi-person matches already with the Chamber matches. The tag chamber should be interesting and with all six teams having gripes with each other things should settle down before Wrestlemania. I only see D.I.Y taking the titles if The Revival drop them. The others have their own feuds and problems to deal with although The Usos are definitely a wild card. The man in the burlap sack definitely interests me though. no idea who that could be.

Finally the feud between Dillinger and Crews has come along nicely. I'm not sure where it's heading but I expect a non-finish at Elimination Chamber. Mania seems to be where everything will come together.

Overall I'm quite happy with how Smackdown went down. Corbin, Miz and Cena made their points tonight and despite a few niggles, which aren't really anything to complain about the show did it's job of establishing Elimination Chamber, with it kind of rushed due to only two Smackdowns between Rumble and EC( I would have pushed it back a week).

Keep up the good work though man... Rumble was great and I'm sure EC and Mania will be just as enthralling.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

    Smackdown Review:

Awesome opening heel promo by Ziggler. Am looking forward to seeing him get some momentum behind him.

A little disappointed for the Wyatts vs. Alpha to end the way it did because you were advertising it as a big match. Typical creepy Bray promo other than he is coming off Face-ish and not sure if I can get behind that.

Now I am all for Tye having this attitude and gusto, infusing some personality to him but his freaking out over not coming in at 10 at Rumble is making him look a little foolish. I hope to see him go out at Chamber and put on an excellent performance.

Odd choice, having a backstage cam cut to an already started match. Especially because Apollo just had a ppv match announced and is in a feud...but gets that kind of treatment on the show. And Kane gets shown up like a fool in so many ways here. Im a mega Kane fan unlike many...so as much as with the way things went it looks like hes gonna get revenge on Miz but as a person who knows wrestling fans....i doubt youll do that and that is even more frustrating for this match/segment.

Awesome promo by Crazy Sarah. Youre clearly putting focus and momentum behind her and i imagine it wont be too long before shes a champion.

A good tag promo here. You capture Breezango's zanyness well. Loved Revival shitting all over them. I personally feel DIY earned their title shot, and want to see DIY vs. Revival so those are the two teams I hope come out with the belts. That chamber should be a great read.

Crazy Sarah build continues. Holy, announcing so much of Chamber already one night after Rumble.

Personally I really dislike this scared AJ stuff. He has never come across that way and has always been about competition. Just realky taking me out of his stuff right now.

Had to see this all out chaos coming. Obvious the WWE title would be a chamber match. Glad AJ didnt lose it and you have a pretty stacked 6 men in this match. Loved Corbin wiping out Orton to close the show.

Overall an alright show. Felt like there wasnt enough matches for a Smackdown show and felt more like a Raw. Like i said, there was some stuff i wasnt into but it wasnt end of the world type shit. You wrote a badass Royal Rumble, and i expect Chamber to also be dope!

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

    Alright, Post Rumble Smackdown!!

Opening the show with Ziggler was interesting, I was expecting Orton haha.

Good promo by Ziggler, felt like him. Weird that Shane just negates Ambrose wanted Ziggler just because Ziggler doesn't want it, but I am pumped for Ziggler Corbin...if Corbin wins tonight will it be a championship match? Questions!

American Alpha getting a big win over the Wyatts!! Looks like this isn't the end, with Bray appearing post match. Very interesting promo by Wyatt, mentioning Ziggler...

Dillinger finally getting his match against Apollo should be good!!

Your characterization of The Miz is one of the things that keeps me coming back, he is great and definitely deserves to be going for the main championship. Glad that he isn't hiding, he is just angry. Calling for a no dq match against Kane is huge! Can't wait for chamber, it is shaping up very nicely in the first show out of Rumble.

Crazy Sarah Dobson. Not that familair with her but this promo was interesting, and I am enjoying seeing you build the character for the WWE audience.

Breezango. I don't even think I need to say it this week.

TAG TEAM CHAMBER!! Never crossed my mind as a possibility so that shocked me, guess I should have with all the tag teams going strong right now. I am hella excited!!!

Four way for the women's championship out of nowhere, seemed random, one second she is saying she can't be around Dobson, the next four way. Either way, seems like the match will be cool.

AJ Corbin and Styles all getting camera time. Makes sense. The only thing that threw me about this whole show, is Orton won the rumble, and doesn't show up at all except at the last second of the show. Now promo, nothing. He won the rumble!!

Now, the chaos to end the show. Orchestrated this whole thing great, with each superstar coming out and attacking. Gave each person a chance to shine.

So. Just saying. Called the entire Chamber match person for person a few reviews ago haha. Not sure why Orton is in the chamber match though now that he has a guaranteed shot at the championship at Mania. Corbin is definitely my pick to win, especially after the end of this show, taking out Orton in such devastating fashion and Orton being the Rumble winner, I think you are laying the ground work for the mania main event...just my thoughts haha.

Good show as usual. Was wondering why Chamber was being built so heavily first show after Rumble then realized it is 12 days away so it made sense! Pumped for Chamber, especially the Tag Championship chamber match!!

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Thank you for all the comments and feedback everyone! I completely understand that some of this is rushed, I'm trying to keep consistent as I can with the real life schedule which had a rushed build as well and is why it was tough to bring in the Rumble while I was also doing building toward the EC prior to the Rumble to get people involved in the title pictures. I'm very excited to have a strong enough tag team division for a Chamber match themselves. Hopefully this can clear up some things, get things back to the straight and narrow here. I did have some problems toward the end on writing this show, it was late, I had a headache and was just writing so we'll see how this goes. There's no written out promos in this one, as I didn't find one that felt right for it personally. I apologize for that.

With October having had the Rumble and the build to EC, I can't guarantee when the EC will be so you may not see updates from me in November, or at least not for a couple of weeks in. I have the main event written for EC so far, so a lot to go. I hope you all enjoy this show, and I look forward to hearing what you all think and seeing what I can improve on. There will be a prediction contest, but likely will wait about a week so I can be sure I have another match or two written before getting that up.

    SMACKDOWN LIVE
    FEBRUARY 7, 2017

The show opens this week with
Baron Corbin coming out to a handful of surprising cheers and a chorus of boos. He takes a moment to enjoy it before speaking up, saying over the past few weeks, I have tortured, tormented, dominated and defeated every single man in the Elimination Chamber with me. And last week, I absolutely decimated Randy Orton to the point that you will not see him for weeks, months, honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he never came back. I have shown every single one of you that I am to be feared. Randy, I am warning you. You stole from me, taking the Royal Rumble. You fear me, and took away my opportunity at the WWE Championship. Now Randy, I’m warning you, never come back, never think of stepping back into this ring again because the next time I see you -- I’ll be sure you won’t come back.

Shane McMahon makes his entrance on that, telling Corbin that threats are not the path to success. Corbin says since I’ve started coming out here and taking what I deserve, I’ve been actually getting opportunities. You say threats don’t help your case? You didn’t even give a damn about any of us until we started demanding it. Shane says he’s sick of the way things have been around here and he’s fixing it, and the first thing he’s doing is punishing Corbin for what he did last week, for taking Randy Orton out of the Elimination Chamber match and forcing us to find a replacement. Corbin smirks and tells Shane, he doesn’t care about his “punishment.” Actually, I’ll beat you to it. This Sunday, I’m volunteering to be the first man in the Chamber. Then let’s see how tough all these punks are when I’m beating them down one by one, let’s see who leaves the safety of their pod. If any of you are dumb enough to step out into my playground, my match, my world. I will crush these people, and Shane, that’s your fault. Now what do you have for me?! What’s this “punishment?” Shane pauses for a moment, the crowd giving an “oooh” as Corbin just shut Shane up. Shane says Baron, you’re right, you beat me to the punch, congratulations on your “victory.” You will be starting the Chamber match on Sunday, you will have to fight through five other men on Sunday if you’re able to. However tonight, you are banned from SmackDown Live! With that, security starts marching down to the ring. Corbin looks amused, as they surround him he holds his hands out. Shane turns to leave and Corbin stops him. “Sure thing Shane, puff your chest, be the man -- but know that this Sunday, I am going to be throwing dead bodies out of that Chamber, battered and bloodied, and all of that blood, all those lives altered forever ... will be on your hands too.” Corbin tosses down the microphone and gives himself up to security then, walking out with them.

We next go to our first match of the evening and it’s a tag team match. Rhino teams up with Apollo Crews against Heath Slater and Tye Dillinger, the two feuds started from teams formed for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship Tournament. Throughout the early goings of the match, the commentary team highlights how Crews avoids Dillinger and Dillinger makes it a point to go after Crews. Slater becomes the face-in-peril for a while, but gets a comeback against Crews and tags in Dillinger. The crowd starts to go insane as Dillinger steps in against Crews and runs at him, but he ducks out and tags in Rhino. Dillinger gets a huge run in, but Crews jumps in behind him and pushes him into Slater to force a tag. Crews goes and tags in, fights with Slater. As Dillinger goes to save Slater, he gets hit with the GORE! Slater is taken down with the spinning powerbomb from Crews and eats the pin. Crews walks off taunting, saying it’s more evidence that he’s better than just some lowly ten. Rhino grabs a microphone and does a quick promo on how pathetic Slater is, how worthless he was and how he shouldn’t even be here. Rhino says that this Sunday at Elimination Chamber, he’s going to dominate Slater and show just how pathetic he’s always been.

A short break and we’re backstage with Intercontinental Champion The Miz walking with purpose. He’s passing by Shane McMahon who is telling somebody that Daniel Bryan is going to be back soon. This stops Miz in his tracks and he turns and faces Shane, asking if he heard him correctly. Before Shane can attempt to respond, Miz cuts him off saying he thought he heard that Daniel Bryan is coming back. The B+ General Manager who failed to keep consistency in his actions, who failed to keep the show under his control, who failed to so much as defend himself. This is absolutely ridiculous, who in the hell would allow him back? You know what’s going to happen, right? Don’t answer. You’re going to witness first hand the diminishing of a mind, the breaking of a man. You are going to see what arrogance will gain you, and you will see that I am NO B-Plus. That’s for damn sure. If I were Daniel Bryan, I would think twice. If I were you, I would think for him. Because it’s obvious he can’t be trusted to do the right thing.

Miz stares into the eyes of Shane for a moment before breaking away and walking off angrily. Behind him and zooming over the shoulder of Shane, we see The Club walking down the hall slowly, and methodically, in a way they haven’t done in weeks. We cut quickly to be in front of them. AJ Styles tells them this is a great day, a glorious day. Dolph Ziggler looks somewhat annoyed, but shrugs as Styles talks about Corbin being banned from the arena tonight. He says finally there isn’t some monster, some behemoth running around spouting nonsense and trying to steal from us. No, we showed him, and we will show him again that we run SmackDown Live. It was built off the back of AJ Styles, built off the back of a true workhorse like Dolph Ziggler, built off a team that wasn’t afraid to do what they had to do in The Usos. This show belongs to The Club, and Baron Corbin is going to learn that he can’t just walk around beating the hell out of whatever he doesn’t like.

We go to a short commercial for the Elimination Chamber this Sunday, and it’s then cut out from a cleaning supplies commercial to show Becky Lynch standing in front of a green and orange backdrop. She looks into the camera and speaks directly to Nikki Bella and by extension the fans as well. She says you know, it’s funny how she can bring somebody in, she can have a friend come along for the fun and everyone seems to focus on the friend more. No, no. Nicole, you should not forget about good ole Becky Balboa. NOBODY should forget about Becky Lynch. You see, in Ireland, we have many demons. Sarah may be possessed by one, and she may be here to exorcise you from the horror you’ve delivered us, but make no mistake she is not the one you should worry about. While she’s here to exorcise you, I am here to torment you, to break you, and to take back my title this Sunday. So Nicole, do NOT forget about Becky Lynch. Because on Sunday, your arm will snap in two as the demon comes for you and you scream “I quit, I quit” tapping out to good ole Becky Lynch. She looks determined into the camera as in the corner it shows “UP NEXT.”

From there we continue and finish the commercials, going from there to the ringside area for a match between Becky Lynch and ‘Crazy’ Sarah Dobson. The two line up and seem to measure each other up, they’re very friendly towards each other in the early goings. As the match wears on, they have a strong back and forth and Lynch hits some strong suplexes. Dobson counters her with some harsh looking striking and a big dragon screw leg whip. Before things can really get going, however, Nikki Bella comes out of the crowd and slides in behind Dobson with her laces in hand. She wraps it around Dobson’s throat, starts to choke her like she’s done to many women in the past -- BUT DOBSON INSTEAD BREAKS THE LACE IN HALF! Dobson turns and stares a hole into Bella, who stares dumbfounded at her laces then holds up both ends, holding her hands up, and backs away. She backs into Becky Lynch however, who launches Nikki with a pumphandle suplex! Nikki escapes from there as the referee has called for a disqualification for the time being, but both Becky and Sarah stand tall in the ring watching Nikki back up the ramp in despair.

We follow up with a cut backstage to find Dean Ambrose talking to Dasha Fuentes about the Elimination Chamber match this coming Sunday. It’s clear this was originally meant for YouTube and the website, and you’ll need to check those for the full promo. However, what we find is that Ambrose is talking about his evil intentions to use the Chamber to his benefit. How excited he is to step inside, to fly around, to beat every freakin’ one of them until they can’t so much as crawl out of there. He says there was a mistake made by AJ Styles, by Dolph Ziggler and by every freakin’ one of them who stepped between him and them. This Sunday, they won’t so much as take a breath without him stepping on their throats and driving that breath right back out. “Oh I’m taking back MY title, I’m taking back MY show. Welcome to the new and improved Ambrose Asylum, kiddos, you’re going to find you can’t wait to get out!”

From there, Dasha thanks Ambrose and he walks off. She starts walking and the camera follows her. She turns back and says we need to hurry to her next interview. As she walks, we have a quick promotion for the main event tonight of John Cena teaming up with Dean Ambrose against Styles and Ziggler. Also tonight is Breezango and DIY taking on The Revival and The Usos. Finally, “UP NEXT” is The Miz taking on Kalisto!

We continue on with Dasha as he reaches a door and walks in. We find SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions The Revival there. Scott Dawson says it’s about time and Dash Wilder insists they had scheduled for earlier and she’s lucky they stuck around. Dasha apologizes, fixes her dress as she turns to the camera and Dash and Dawson both take a glance at her butt. They give a slight nod to each other, she looks somewhat uncomfortable. She starts, introducing her guests and asking about their thoughts on the Elimination Chamber this Sunday. Dawson tells her that question is ridiculous, think of a better one. Dash grabs the microphone and pulls it closer saying, you see, we are the Top Guys of the WWE. We are the premier tag team in the world today, better than DIY, better than some comedy act bullcrap like Breezango, better than some has-been Usos, better than some backwoods Wyatts and definitely better than the biggest losers in SmackDown Live history -- American Alpha. This is absolutely ridiculous, that’s all it is. Shane McMahon comes around here, he’s no Daniel Bryan, and he thinks look how big and tough I am and starts making bullcrap matches like he’s the one really in charge. In all actuality, we are going to go in there and show them, show him that this is our division, our show and there is not a damn thing anyone can do about it! Now get out of here, we’re done with you. Dasha shakes her head uncomfortably as she walks off and they watch her leave.

Following a commercial, we have Kalisto in the ring awaiting The Miz. As the music plays, Kalisto starts to get irritated. Behind him comes Miz though, striking him over the back with a steel chair! He starts jabbing Kalisto in the back, in the ribs with the edge of the chair. Kalisto is trying to get away as Miz grabs a microphone and starts speaking toward Daniel Bryan and Kane. He says this is your friend? This is your great warrior? He is nothing. He’s some worthless, C-Minus player who couldn’t so much as hold my jock. Daniel, this is all your fault. Every last bit of what happens here, what happens on Sunday, everything is your fault. And I want you to keep in that in mind. Actually no, I know better than to believe you’d ever think of others. Shane McMahon, I need you to keep this in mind when you allow Daniel Bryan to come back to your show. When you make the mistake of allowing Daniel Bryan to come back, the mistake of allowing Kane to come to the ring on Sunday. I am going to show every single person why I’m no disgusting B-Plus Player. I am going to show them what will happen to those who support Daniel Bryan, and this is only a piece of what I’ll do to him if he’s stupid enough to come back. Kalisto at this point is finally starting to get away, Miz smacks him over the back with the chair again though! He then lines it up against Kalisto’s face in the corner, doing the “YES” chants and motion then running and striking Kalisto with a dropkick to the face with the chair! Finally he sets the chair up into a seated position, pulls Kalisto up and hits the Skull Crushing Finale onto the back of the chair! Kalisto is out cold, and Miz stands over his lifeless body as he music plays him out.

We go to another commercial for a moment, featuring one for Elimination Chamber, featuring the tag team chamber match. On our return, we go to the eight-man tag team match to highlight the match even more. Breezango and DIY take on The Revival and The Usos. There’s plenty of back and forth, a quick comedy spot early on for Breezango, trying to give a ticket to The Usos only for Revival to absolutely knock them out! DIY take the brunt of the action to keep things competitive, Usos hit a double superkick that knocks Ciampa out of the ring and Gargano just barely manages to fend off all four men in time to tag in Deputy Dango. Dango and Breeze eliminate everybody from the ring, Breeze hits the Beauty Shot on Wilder then a dive out of the ring to hit all the Usos and Dawson to take them out. Dango hits the diving leg drop on Wilder in the ring and gets the pinfall victory for his team!

Going backstage, Shane McMahon looks frantic and frustrated, racing down the hallway and looking into different rooms. He gets to his third one, and jumps, startled. Out walks Alexa Bliss dressed to compete and smirking. She tells Shane that at the Royal Rumble she came to have a change of heart. You see, Nikki Bella has never cared about another person in her life. Hell, she didn’t even care about her own sister. Shane says he’s busy and needs to keep moving along, what do you need? Alexa says she wants a shot at Bella, she wants to have her one on one to get her hands on her before anybody else can for everything she put her through. From the psychological torment of being blamed for her actions to the torture of facing those freaks at the Rumble, she demands to have Nikki in that ring. Shane, a bit distracted from his search, and says you know what, that sounds like a great idea! How about up next, you get out to the ring and you have a match with Nikki Bella! Alexa looks pleased and walks off. Shane goes the other direction, looking in different rooms.

One has some noise coming from it, and he gives it a deep and heavy breath then walks away. We stay for a moment to look into the room and find Heath Slater apologizing to Tye Dillinger. Dillinger tells Slater it’s fine, there’s nothing to worry about. This Sunday, this is when we get our moments back. You can prove to the world that Rhyno has no idea what he’s talking about. This weekend, I’m going to prove that Apollo Crews is just another superficial nobody who thinks he’s all that and a bag of chips.

We don’t hang around too long, having to catch up to Shane who gives a loud “Found you!” when he gets to who he was searching for -- The Miz! Shane asks what in the hell Miz was thinking with his actions tonight? This is absolutely ridiculous. Miz tells Shane this is his own damn fault, this is Daniel Bryan’s damn fault. I am SICK of what’s going on around here. This is downright ridiculous! So you know what Shane, puff your damn chest all you want, WE are SICK of YOU! You want to fix what’s going wrong with your horrible mess of a show? Fire Daniel Bryan and start actually giving your so-called opportunities to the ones who deserve it! Let’s see you be the man and take some god damn action here! Then your show may be halfway decent finally. Miz just walks off, and Shane looks absolutely furious at this point.

Going to commercial, we come back to have Alexa Bliss taking on SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Nikki Bella. Bella tries to avoid all contact early on, diving out of the ring, trying to escape. Bliss pulls her back, beats her down and gets a few cheers here and there from it. However, Bella gets control after a little while, taking it to Alexa, starting with a disaster kick and then some power moves to keep her grounded. The lights go out, then, and on the stage and ramp are glowing symbols. ‘Crazy’ Sarah Dobson is standing at the top of the stage, no visible microphone in hand but obviously one attached somewhere on her. There’s smoke around her, Nikki stands at the ropes looking concerned up at Sarah. Sarah starts talking about how the sins of the champion will forever be unforgiven and the payment for such things are steep. She may have her tricks, her petty ploys. However, Nicole, little do you know that when the day comes and your precious is on the line, and you stand before the gates and are judged upon -- The dead will rise. And you shall feel their wrath. As she speaks these lines, in the smoke you can see the figures of Carmella, Naomi and Natalya. Nikki looks terrified as Sarah laughs maniacally. Alexa comes up behind her, rolls her up and gets the victory. When Nikki gets back to her knees, Sarah and the figures are gone and Alexa is the only one left with her arm raised. Nikki holds her head in her hands, looking petrified as Alexa raises her arm while backing up the ramp. Nikki looks around with her title handed to her, sitting on her lap as the camera fades out.

Coming back during the commercial break, we have John Cena cutting a quick promo talking about the Elimination Chamber coming up this Sunday. He talks about his experience with this match, how nobody else has the experience he has. He talks about the dangers of the match, how awful things could get. He says for all the talk of Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin, when they step into that Chamber, we will see what they’re made of. We’ll see the fear in their eyes, everything washing over them as they realize they’ve made a massive mistake.

Before the main event, we have a short spot to show Baron Corbin is now sitting in the crowd of the arena. He’s down in the corner by the announce tables, which leads them to ask what he’s doing there. He says he’s just here to scout his opponents, he’s a paying customer is all.

We get to the main event, with John Cena and Dean Ambrose going up against The Club of AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler. Throughout the match, the two teams seem to be out of sync with each other. Ambrose and Cena have some tag experience from their one match in the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship Tournament but it’s been months, and Styles and Ziggler are brand new to each other. There are quite a few hiccups along the way, with Styles pushing Ziggler forward to avoid the conflict himself, and with Ambrose and Cena trying to one-up each other as much as possible. All four men have massive egos at play here that seem to drive them to step up at one point or another and take control of it, showcasing their skills for the Elimination Chamber. At the end, Ambrose is thrown into Corbin over the barricade, which seems to upset Corbin. He throws Ambrose back hard with what seemed to be a chokeslam onto the barricade! Security came to stop him from stepping past that barricade though. Cena then takes the pin when Styles gets him up for the Styles Clash, Ziggler hits a superkick and it drives Cena’s head back into taking the Clash!

After the match, Ambrose is in pain but gets up and goes straight after Ziggler and Styles again, wanting to continue beating on them. DEH! However, the lights go out and when they come back up Bray Wyatt is in the ring and catches Ambrose midstride and nails the SISTER ABIGAIL!Shane McMahon comes out as Styles and Ziggler back away, escaping to fight another day, and Shane announces that Wyatt will be the sixth man in the Elimination Chamber on Sunday! Wyatt throws his arms out, the lights go down and fireflies fill the building while his music plays. Styles and Ziggler look somewhat worried and nervous, looking around. We cut to show Corbin standing at his seat, front row with security holding him back and the lights of the fireflies surrounding them. We spin around behind him, looking over his shoulder we see him and Wyatt staring at each other. Corbin points at him, screaming something, Wyatt chuckles in the ring and drops to his knees with his arms out as the camera fades away.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Alright, the final Smackdown before Elimination Chamber!!!

Great opening promo by Corbin. He has been on a hell of a roll as of late. Going into the chamber first will be an uphill battle, but I am sure with Orton being taken out of the match, Corbin is going to take the win and go onto face Orton at Mania. Being banned from the arena tonight, I don't see that holding and fully expect him to appear later.

Typical thrown together tag match, showcasing a few of the rivalries going into the pay per view. Glad to see the heels get the win!

Miz doing his angry thing, love it. Can't wait for Bryan to come back and retaliate!!

Women's match seemed like it was gonna be good, until Nikki got in there. Clearly continuing to build up Dobson, it will be interesting to see if she wins at Chamber or if someone else takes it.

Ambrose gets a brief interview, glad to see everyone in the Chamber getting a chance to hype up their involvement.

WOW! Wasn't expecting Miz to attack Kalisto from behind so violently, but I guess I should have!! Kane not showing up at all was odd, but still a great segment.

Fandango getting the win over one half of the tag team champions is huge!! Woulda liked a larger recap for this match, but I'm still excited for the Tag Championship match at EC.

Miz getting in Shane's face, realistically, at some point Shane is gonna have to suspend Miz or something, he banned Corbin which makes sense, but Miz has taken out superstars two weeks in a row now, and took out Bryan, something has to be done.

Great segment between Dobson and Bella. Whoever wins at Chamber, it is definitely going to be one of the two, I see a one on one match at Mania.

Ha! Knew Corbin would be back, good move putting him in the front row.

Everything falls apart for the second week in a row, and Bray Wyatt appears! A suitable replacement for Orton going into Chamber.

A pretty good final build to Elimination Chamber, had to have been hard to only have two shows in between pay per views. Excited for Chamber to get released as I am very pumped to see if Corbin gets his hands on the gold!!

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Hello everybody, I wanted to post real quick to let people know a status report of sorts as my timeline got a little bit jacked up. I work in the health insurance industry and it's my first year there and when it comes to employment based insurance, the last month and a half and the beginning of the year is incredibly busy. As it stands, I've been chipping away at this show as much as I can and have a good few matches written up and still have my ideas. I plan to get back into this asap and not let this just die out where it sat. I hope you'll all forgive my recent inactivity and I hope to get involved more around here again soon. Thank you all and I hope you all had fantastic holidays!
