Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Thanks Franchise! I'm hoping the idea can take off in the next few weeks as I tweak it and fine tune it, glad you're enjoying it.

    SMACKDOWN LIVE
    NOVEMBER 1, 2016

Opening to the women’s locker room, we pan around to see the remaining four standing in a crescent with Shane McMahon in front of them. He has a gluttony of police behind him, presumably for security. Shane explains that with everything going on around this locker room lately, he can’t trust anyone or anything. He asks whether the attacker is happy now, there’s only four women left for a five woman team, and he’s going to have to pull something together to make a full team or else Survivor Series will be advantage to Team Raw.

The tension in the room is palpable, as the women are all eyeing each other nervously. The first to speak up is Becky Lynch, standing before everybody and saying she demands the attacker reveal themselves now. She lingers a bit on Nikki Bella and she very quickly deflects blame, noting that she had no reason to attack Carmella when she was just going to beat her that night in the ring -- fairly, she might add. Alexa Bliss begs to differ, stepping into things and saying that Nikki must think she’s like her boyfriend John Cena except instead of “The Face That Runs the Place” she’s “The Hoe that Runs from the Show.” Nikki and Alexa get face to face, with Nikki calling Alexa some little troll doll that needs to be put under a magnifying glass, while Alexa tells Nikki if she wants to rip her top off, she should go work Saturday’s at Tito’s.

Shane is obviously uncomfortable, and looks over to Naomi quietly sitting off to the side. He asks her what she’s thinking, and she starts shaking her head. But before she can speak, Nikki is in Shane’s face saying it’s too obvious that Alexa is the attacker, and he needs to do something about it. Alexa grabs Nikki by the hair, and it appears things are about to get physical when the security team step in and break them up. Becky says she feels like Nikki is at fault, as does Alexa, while Naomi is hesitant to make a decision. She tells Shane it’s just unbearable in the locker room anymore with everything going on, and that she’s just focused on herself and keeping herself safe.

Becky tells Shane he has to do something to get them to stop squabbling all the time. Shane, attempting to be a more proactive commissioner, notifies the women that he’s hired a private investigator to head the case of the mystery attacker! The four women all gasp in shock, and seem to finally be grouping together a bit, each yelling at Shane that they shouldn’t be bringing in someone else for this. Shane attempts to assuage their judgments, but eventually just tells them to give it a chance and give it a rest before introducing the new Private Investigator -- SANTINO MARELLA!!

Santino guarantees he’ll find the attacker, focusing quickly on the next line in the poem about a red herring, but openly questioning what a fish would have to do with anything. He murmurs fish a couple times then squints while giving a somewhat dirty look at Alexa, looking her up and down. Alexa gets offended, rolls her eyes and asks Shane “Really?” as if to call him a complete moron for this -- which is justified. The women all appear to be together on this, questioning the decision and arguing with Shane, though Nikki and Alexa are still exchanging some dirty looks and the three potential challengers all glance back at the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship as we fade away.

Out to the ring, we have a match between The Usos and The Hype Bros. The Usos are able to maintain control throughout the match, and highlight their abilities, until Mojo Rawley gets a bit of a run going off a hot tag. They still manage to get the win off a Double Superkick to Rawley to get the pinfall. As they exit, they spot Erick Rowan stalking around the ramp, but Luke Harper is still nowhere around.

Backstage, we have Dean Ambrose with his title on his shoulder. He speaks directly to the camera, saying how later tonight he’ll be one on one with the resident loser, Dolph Ziggler. As he’s talking about how he’s going to dismantle Ziggler and shove that inflated ego right up his ass, AJ Styles walks up alone. He slow claps at first, then starts bad mouthing Dean and telling him that he’s only the champion because Randy Orton screwed him out of the match. He says that if Dean were a real champion, he could beat anybody, but he can’t because he’s just some nobody. Dean steps up to AJ and tells him that he’s lucky that he got out of No Mercy alive, and if he knew what was good for him, he wouldn’t be walking up like he owns the place. He tells AJ if he wants to prove his talk, he can give it his best shot. Sure, people would call it an upset. Sure, people wouldn’t believe in Dean Ambrose. But that’s just the way Dean Ambrose likes it, because the truth is, AJ is just some primadonna with a posse. Dean Ambrose is an ass-kicker, and he’s fine to put his title on the line against AJ. AJ says he’ll see him in a few weeks, and Dean nods and smacks AJ on the cheek a few times before agreeing verbally and walking away.

We go to Daniel Bryan’s office where Baron Corbin barges in and angrily tells Bryan that he’s unhappy with last week. He says he doesn’t understand the fascination that Bryan has with the weaker people on this show, but then again, maybe it makes sense just taking a look at Bryan himself. He says last week he had three tag team matches, meanwhile where were the real men of the show, where were the money makers and the power players, where was Baron Corbin? Bryan says that he can’t just shoehorn Corbin into every show to make him happy, and he’s going to have to earn it. Corbin says he’ll run through every tag team, every weak link, until he gets what he wants and is given the time that he deserves. He’ll prove to the world that he’s the future of SmackDown Live. Bryan offers him to go to the ring tonight, and he’ll have a tag team to try and run through, and then he’ll see the power in having a partner.

While Corbin laughs, we cut out to the ring where Tye Dillinger goes into a match with a returning Kane. Dillinger is able to get a few moves off, but isn’t really able to take Kane down for long. Kane takes control shortly into the match and lands a chokeslam for the victory.

We cut to Apollo Crews, Dillinger’s partner, backstage. He’s watching the match, and shakes his head. He murmurs something about what it is to be “perfect.” He turns to walk away, and he realizes he’s been speaking out loud. The Vaudevillains snicker and sneer, making a snide comment about the faithfulness of a put together nobody team, some nameless team. Crews gets a bit self-conscious about this and has a short argument, being very cocky and bragging about his strength and agility, but ultimately having very little to stand on and walking off.

The camera follows Crews out to find and follow Randy Orton walking around backstage, he passes a corner and sees The Usos talking about their victory, crushing the tag team division. He walks up to them abruptly, and demands to know where AJ Styles is. They assure him they haven’t seen him lately, he went off to do something on his own and they have no idea what. Orton checks over his shoulder quickly, then backs up to the wall and tells them that they better tell AJ he’s looking for him, and once he finally gets his hands on him, it’s all over. All the games, all the tricks, everything. He will destroy this stupid Club of theirs, he’ll dismantle their leadership and he’ll leave the Phenomenal One in pieces. Orton lunges toward the Usos, making them jump, then smirks and chuckles as he walks away.

Back to Daniel Bryan’s office, where American Alpha are standing by with him and talking about how they find it awful he would allow The Revival to do such awful tricks to hold on to their titles. They’re insistent that it wasn’t a fair shake, and Daniel seems to nod in agreement. Chad Gable is doing most of the talking, and asks for another rematch. Bryan thinks for a moment, and Jason Jordan pitches in that he’s been there before, the guy who doesn’t get a second chance, who gets screwed out of everything. He says it’s the worst pain he’s ever felt, and he knows that Daniel knows that feeling. He knows that Daniel knows the right decision. Daniel eventually relents, and tells them to be ready in two weeks.

In the ring, Baron Corbin is standing and waiting in his leather jacket as The Fashion Police, Breezango, come out and issue him a ticket for the fashion faux pas. Corbin rips up the ticket, grabs the ticket book and tosses it then attacks both Fandango and Tyler Breeze. He easily beats down both men with Big Boots and eventually hits an End of Days on Fandango for a pinfall victory in the handicap match. He screams into the camera, asking Bryan if that’s the best he had.

We go to the hospital, where Rhyno is still bedridden with his concussion, and Heath Slater is standing by his side. Heath is still trying to help Rhyno, and is awkwardly adjusting the bed and tossing Rhyno in every which way. Rhyno seems to get fed up, yanking the remote from Heath and throwing it at the wall making it break. Heath says “that’s not cool man” and Rhyno gives him a look that could kill. Heath takes a step back, and Rhyno a deep breath before looking at the television and suddenly seeming to have a plan. He tells Heath he should avenge him, and that with how Corbin is running roughshod, it’s up to him to take him down. Heath is hesitant, but Rhyno talks him into it, and Heath runs off. Rhyno shakes his head and breathes out as Heath leaves, obviously very happy to finally be alone.

We go off to the management office where Shane McMahon is with Daniel Bryan. Daniel is expressing concern about hiring Santino Marella to investigate the women of SmackDown Live. Shane assuages this, explaining that there are two possible outcomes he sees. Either Santino brings the rest of the women together out of hatred for him in time for Survivor Series and the team will be a lot better than Team Raw. Or, Santino annoys them enough that he ends up drawing the attacker out to take him out and we’ll catch her then. Daniel nods along and says he still isn’t sure this is a good idea, as he’s seen Santino mess up literally everything he’s ever touched. Shane just tells Daniel to let him handle it, everything is going according to plan.

Backstage, we see Santino Marella with a magnifying glass in hand, looking over some boxes and with tape on the floor in the shape of a body. He walks along with the magnifying glass until meeting the feet of Alexa Bliss and slowly rising up until he sees her face magnified. He jumps back, and Alexa gives her usual scowl. She tells Santino he’s the most pointless waste of space she’s seen since joining SmackDown Live, and that’s saying something with how often she’s seen Carmella and Nikki Bella walking around. Santino gasps, offended, and tells Alexa she won’t think that when he solves the mystery and is the hero.

Alexa doesn’t believe he can do it, and says Santino wouldn’t be able to find a piece of hay in a haystack let alone the attacker. She tells Santino to do himself a favor and stay out of the way. Becky Lynch walks in and finds Santino looking distraught. She offers some support, telling Alexa that she should be focusing on getting out to the ring and not demeaning other people. She says just because of her height doesn’t mean she has to take people down to her level all the time. Alexa scoffs and marches off while Becky consoles Santino, albeit seemingly begrudgingly.

We cut to find WWE ChampionDean Ambrose walking down the hallway when The Club come running up from behind and knock him out. They stomp away at him, toss him head first into the wall, and The Usos hit their Double Superkick to knock him to the floor hard. AJ Styles walks up and stands over Ambrose, telling him he should be careful who he messes with. He may have a posse, but there is strength in numbers and Dean, you’ve managed to go backwards with yours. You started with a “posse” and now look at you, beaten, battered, bruised and alone. See you later, Dean. Styles uses a chair that one of the Usos hands to him and smashes Dean over the back with it as we see Randy Orton come running up the hallway and chasing off The Club. All of them run off, as Orton chases them away, but can’t catch them. He comes back and pulls Ambrose up, but Ambrose pushes him away and limps off.

Nikki Bella stands in the ring awaiting Alexa Bliss and Naomi for the number one contendership to the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship next week in Glasgow. Nikki and Alexa, following their confrontation earlier, seem to be focused on each other and attacking each other the most. Alexa hits her choking STO and Nikki even lands the Rack Attack 2.0, but Naomi breaks it up. Nikki eventually gets frustrated and pulls the laces from her top again, trying to choke Naomi, but Naomi uses the turnbuckle to flip over and hold Nikki’s shoulders down for the three count. She runs and Nikki screams, frustrated, in the ring, seemingly beginning to throw another tantrum as the camera fades off.

We’re in the parking garage, as The Hype Bros. are walking along with their bags when Luke Harper runs in and hits a big boot to the side of Zack Ryder’s head! Mojo Rawley looks in shock as Ryder rolls around on the concrete in pain. Mojo ducks a punch and starts throwing body shots at Harper, knocking him back, but Erick Rowan comes in and grabs him from behind, holding his arms back as Harper hits him with a few big punches. Bray Wyatt walks up and stands before Mojo, holding his head up, telling him that his day of reckoning is nearing swiftly, and on that day, they shall suffer the pain of their sins and be cleansed of all that has afflicted them. They will be thankful when it comes to pass. Bray nods, and Rowan tosses Mojo at him. He catches Mojo and hits him with a SISTER ABIGAIL on the concrete! Both members of The Hype Bros. are down in the parking garage, Ryder trying to get Mojo while Bray leads his monsters away.

The Revival are backstage for an interview, talking about how unfair it is that Daniel Bryan would punish them for their intelligence and resourcefulness. He’s basically telling them not to try and hold on to the titles, he doesn’t want them to be the champions. Well they’ve got one thing to say to Mr. Bryan, but before they can, DIY interrupts them. The two teams go back and forth, with DIY saying it’s like looking at the the funhouse mirror version of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. The Revival call DIY the equivalent of a poor man’s Too Cool, except they’re really just Too Lame. DIY commend them on attempting to have humor, but to leave it to the professionals who can, you know, talk and walk, or chew bubblegum and think at the same time.

The Revival and DIY continue on this path for a few more moments until both teams get sick of each other and storm off, leaving Tom Phillips confused and deserted. Dolph Ziggler is happy to take the spot, though. He talks about how good it feels to finally have some recognition and not have to pander to the crowd, not have to beg for a spot, not have to be ignored and hated. He says he’s going to go out there and he’s going to take that championship that belongs to him, and when he does, he won’t have to be on Team Tuesday Night John Cena Appreciation Party anymore.

He looks into the camera and says that Cena is all about himself. He’s using Daniel Bryan, which is just something that big stars can do to little people. He says that Cena is just that kind of guy, a user and an abuser. He goes around and toys with emotions, plays with the heart strings of the kids and gets them all riled up. They all decorate themselves as a walking billboard for John Cena, the worldwide superstar, meanwhile Cena just sits on his butt and does nothing all day. He flies in private jets, he goes on the talk shows, the morning shows, he gets lauded by everybody and their mother. Meanwhile, here’s Dolph Ziggler, here’s AJ Styles, here’s Dean Ambrose just plying our trade and fighting for what really matters -- the WWE Championship. And where’s John Cena, the captain of Team SmackDown Live, the leader of the free world of professional wrestling? MIA, as usual. So Ziggler is going to go out there, and fight for his championship, and when he wins, he’s going to shove it to John Cena and he’s going to go be the star he deserves to be.

We come to our main event where Dean Ambrose defends the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler. Ambrose is selling the beating from Styles earlier, which gives Ziggler the ability to take control throughout the match and wear him down. Ziggler had a huge moment, hitting the ZigZag and folding up Dean for the pin, but only getting a two count. After beating John Cena with it at No Mercy, it appears to upset Ziggler not to get the win, and he goes off. He starts screaming at the camera that he’s the man now, and as Ambrose gets up goes for the superkick but misses and gets hit with a Lunatic Lariat for a two count. Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds after another little comeback from Ziggler to get the victory.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

I like the characterization of everyone. Especially Alexa Bliss, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler and i think you nail them perfectly.

I hope you can Tweak Dean Ambrose a bit if hes who your going with as champ for a while. Dont want his role to get stale like in real life.

The pacing of the show is pretty great and i think bringing Santino in was brilliant because now you have some comedy to break up the tention. I think an Ellsworth and Marella interaction would be gold.

Its also nice how each division have storylines except the IC title but i know how hard it is to create one with all these other stories you're doing.

Corbin on Talking Smack? Cant wait

    Keep up the good work.

I love this whole series tbh. One of my favorites. Plus the Santino addition is gold. I have a feeling the attacker is either Naomi (she was too coy in the back) or Eva Marie (RED herring???). Either way I can't wait.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Thanks for the comments guys. Ty2J, it's awesome to see you in here and to hear that you're enjoying it. That's always a great part of this is having other people like the stories. I hope to be able to continue that and I really appreciate hearing from you and anybody else reading!

    TALKING SMACK SNIPPET

Baron Corbin is introduced by Renee Young and walks on set with a beanie cap on his head in his normal street attire, sitting next to Daniel Bryan.

RENEE YOUNG || Baron, welcome to the show. Tonight you issued out a big challenge and won, congratulations!

BARON CORBIN || Thank you, Renee.

DANIEL BRYAN || Congratulations on the win, yeah. They did get a little run on you though, did you get any new respect for tag teams?

BARON CORBIN || Let me ask you something, Daniel. See, when you see me in the ring, what do you see? Do you see a star, or do you see someone like you? Iíve been at this for only a couple of years now, and look at how far and how fast my star has risen. I havenít gained anything towards tag teams. I still see them as a waste of the valuable time that we have here on SmackDown Live.

RENEE YOUNG || So before this derails us too much, Baron, why donít you care for tag teams?

DANIEL BRYAN || Well come on, Renee, heís ďthe lone wolf.Ē It would be a bit silly for a lone wolf to be a pack kind of guy.

BARON CORBIN || Are you done?

DANIEL BRYAN || Done with what?

BARON CORBIN || Trying to mock me.

DANIEL BRYAN || Iím not mocking you.

BARON CORBIN || I have ears, Daniel. Look, for such an animal lover, itís pretty astounding you wouldnít know much about wolves. A lone wolf is still a wolf, heís a pack animal .Lone wolves donít howl, they donít draw attention, and when they have the ability to take over a pack, they take it. The thing about wolves is that theyíre smart and calculated. They donít take unnecessary risks, they donít buddy up with whoeverís available, there are clearly defined roles and clearly defined focuses. They are always focused.

RENEE YOUNG || So where did that nickname come from? Iíve never heard your story for it.

BARON CORBIN || Renee, it comes from my past. It comes from the people who have ostracized others because they have everyone on their side. It comes from my biking, it comes from my mentality. Iím not here to make friends. If I were, Iíd be doing the same thing Heath Slater is doing or Rhyno or Tye Dillinger. Instead, Iím the guy that puts people like that on the shelf. Iím the guy that brutalizes people. When you step on my turf, Iím going to destroy you. Thatís where it comes from, Renee. It comes from me being better than everyone else on this roster.

DANIEL BRYAN || Donít you ever think youíre a little arrogant? I mean, ďiím better than everyoneĒ blah blah. Iíve heard it so many times. What makes you different?

BARON CORBIN || Thatís where you show your weakness. As a general manager, you should be focused in on the skills of your employees. Instead, you run around giving opportunities away like itís nothing. You get overwhelmed easily, flustered I guess would be the word for it. You like to tout John Cena and demoralize Dolph Ziggler, you like to give a title shot to Tye Dillinger and tell The Miz to leave the show. Honestly, you should know what makes me different.

DANIEL BRYAN || Well I donít, so lay it out there. Letís hear your pitch. Whatís your elevator pitch?

    BARON CORBIN || Elevator pitch?

DANIEL BRYAN || Yeah, like, your story.

RENEE YOUNG || It comes from job interviewing, you go in with your 30 second speech to sell yourself.

BARON CORBIN || I shouldnít have to sell myself. What Iíve done speaks for itself. You want sold on Baron Corbin? Ask Rhyno how heís doing. Ask Breezango how theyíre feeling after tonight. Ask the tag teams in the back who are afraid to walk down the same hallway as me, or the people who wonít go in the same locker room as me. Thatís who you should talk to. I donít have to sell myself.

DANIEL BRYAN || Then why havenít I seen that out of you?

BARON CORBIN || Because youíre bad at your job. Look at a couple weeks ago, I went out there and main evented SmackDown Live with Randy Orton. Iíve main evented against AJ Styles before. And you know what? I did pretty damn great. I started in this business just a few years ago, and I can headline against people who are decades into their careers. They had to work to where they are, all their lives. I picked this up on a whim. Yet here I go, dominating every time I step in the ring. Instead of giving me the time I deserve to go out and dominate every night, what do you do, Daniel? You ignore it? You give the time to these tag teams, to these nobodies. You give it to a Kalisto, to a Heath Slater, to a Tye Dillinger, to the Vaudevillains, to American Alpha. Last week, you had American Alpha on. Where was my invitation? Huh Daniel? Why wasnít I asked to be on, someone who can carry this show?

RENEE YOUNG || I get your point Baron, but in that case, itís about how the show goes. We ask people as the showís going about getting on this show. You werenít really around last week.

BARON CORBIN || I deserved to be though. I deserve to be on the show. I didnít ask to not appear, I was told I wasnít on.

DANIEL BRYAN || Then make an impact! Choose your own destiny like everyone else has to!

BARON CORBIN || The last time I did that, someone ended up in the hospital. You want that much blood on your hands?

DANIEL BRYAN || No, but I want to see this passion you have, that I can see, we can see, and I want it out there.

BARON CORBIN || Then give me my time.

DANIEL BRYAN || Fine, next week you have another handicap match. Iíll find you opponents.

BARON CORBIN || Itís about time. See, when you give time somebody who deserves it, I deliver.

RENEE YOUNG || Unfortunately, I believe hereís where we have to wrap things up a bit. Baron, thank you for joining us. Next week we will be in Glasgow, Scotland for a MASSIVE episode of SmackDown Live and Talking Smack immediately following. Thanks for joining us, see you next week!

Baron stands up and tosses the microphone onto the table loudly as the camera zooms out a bit. He stares at Daniel Bryan as he turns and walks away. Daniel looks at Renee after Baron leaves and shrugs, while Renee seems a bit nervous from Baron's imposing look.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Firstly, I did read Smackdown and I enjoyed it but I donít have time for a full review right now. I will say, as per usual, I enjoyed a majority of the show. There was probably only one thing I really didnít like which Iíll also touch on.

One Ė The womenís division and the attacker angle continues to be one of my favourites. Iíve said it week after week and Iíll say it again. The introduction of Santino Marella as a private investigator is an interesting one. Iím all for a bit of comedy here and there on the show, and I thought Santino was used quite well, and more importantly, sparingly throughout the night. If Marella becomes in involved in too many or all of these women segments, this whole angle will become a comedy act. That would be disappointing considering how good the womenís angle has been so far. I just want to reiterate I thought you managed it very well in this show though.

Besides this angle and the one Iíll mention next, it didnít really feel like much happened. It felt like a bit of a filler show as the only other real occurrence was Corbin winning a Handicap match. Orton/Styles continued, nothing really happened with Ziggler/Cena, tag situation furthered a little, and thatís about it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, these shows happen.

The only angle I really didnít like was the build up to the WWE Championship match, for the simple reason that all Dolph Ziggler did was briefly mention the championship and then just talked about John Cena for his whole promo. That was disappointing as it made the title feel second fiddle. Youíve gotten better over the past few weeks at making your main event players feel important, stuff like this doesnít help that.

Iím a little mixed on Talking Smack becoming a weekly occurrence. Both the segments youíve written so far have been good, and I probably preferred the Corbin one, as Iím enjoying his character at the moment. I have a feeling that if you turn this into a few segments as opposed to one, or if they happen weekly, they will begin to lose effect. I feel as if extra stuff like this works when it is used for BIG TIME announcements or moments. Using it every week makes it feel less special. I hope that makes sense but thatís my opinion. Again, nothing wrong with the writing or booking though, just simply stating my opinion.

Anyway, as usual, this thread is moving along nicely, keep it up.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Thanks for the comments stojy, as always, great to hear from you. I am hoping to use these few weeks of Talking Smack as a trial run and see if it goes well or if I should do them maybe for PPVs or what, so I appreciate the feedback a lot. As for Santino, I'm hoping to use him often, but sort of quietly. He's going to be a protagonist of sorts, driving the angles, but not featuring in them as more than a bit player that gets things moving. Hopefully it'll go over well, but I appreciate a lot having feedback and getting to work on making it better.

    SMACKDOWN LIVE

    NOVEMBER 8, 2016 -- GLASGOW SPECIAL

Opening the show, we hear the ruffling of papers and the slamming of a door inside of Daniel Bryanís office. He turns and sees The Miz, backed up by Maryse, returning from his sabbatical last week. He tells Bryan that heís offended that he hasnít heard anything in two weeks, where is the public apology that is owed to him for Bryanís absolutely horrid actions two weeks ago? Bryan tells Miz that he meant what he said, if Miz doesnít want to be on SmackDown Live, heíll contact Monday Night Raw. If Miz doesnít want to appear on SmackDown Live, heíll see him at the next pay-per-view. But the agreement is in place, and whether you choose to show up or not, the Intercontinental Championship is defended at EVERY pay-per-view under the discretion of the general manager.

Miz balks at Bryan, and tells him itís complete bullcrap that he can be disrespected like this over and over again. He says heíll be going to Shane McMahon about this, and weíll see what happens with Daniel. Daniel isnít even phased, appearing numbed to Miz, and tells him that he wishes him luck. Miz is furious, tells Daniel to show him the respect he deserves, give him the incentives he deserves, or heís going to walk. Daniel tells him fine, but he does actually have an offer for Miz. Miz perks up to this, asks to hear it. Daniel says heís given Mizís agent an addition to the contract, and he will sign that addition tonight IF Miz defends the Intercontinental Championship tonight in Glasgow.

Maryse opens the addition on her phone in a pdf and the two seem to mull it over for a moment. Maryse tells Daniel that this is the power that her husband deserves, and he better keep his end of the bargain or else. She tells Daniel heís only half a man, the man who canít fight, who wonít fight, the coward of SmackDown Live, and sheís happy to see heís finally grown a pair enough to show some real respect to the superstars of his show. Miz pulls Maryse away and tells Daniel he agrees on one condition -- heís on the SmackDown Live Survivor Series team. After a moment, Bryan accepts and the two shake hands. Miz says itís about time Daniel saw his point of view, and agrees that heíll be in the ring tonight.

Santino Marella is in a full suit, asking for each member of the remaining womenís roster to come in for interviews. He starts with Naomi with her talking about why she hasnít really been seen much other than hanging around Carmella just before the attack. Naomi is quick to refer to the chaos of last week, saying even if she tries to get involved, she canít get a word in edgewise. She says at this point, everything is all about Nikki Bella and Alexa Bliss and honestly, she thinks itís one of those two whoís attacking everyone. It wouldnít make sense for anyone else to, and sheís sick of the focus being on everyone else and us not finding someone. Almost as if on cue, though, Nikki comes barging in and interrupting. Her and Naomi have a short staredown, and Nikki ushers Naomi out, saying sheís lucky that she gets the title match tonight. Naomi simply shakes her head, shrugs and motions to Santino as if to say see what I mean before leaving.

Out in the ring, we have a quick match between Apollo Crews and Tye Dillinger against The Ascension. Dillinger is able to get the pace up and hit some good moves, but Crews seems too preoccupied with himself. Konnor gets the power advantage eventually and the Ascension maintain some good control, showing off their skill and power combination. Eventually, Dillinger tags in Crews, who shows off and does some impressive moves, but is showboating to the camera a bit and calling himself the Perfect Eleven. Viktor gets the victory on a roll-up, and Dillinger runs in shocked while Crews seems to blame Dillinger for hogging the time and leaving Crews cold. Dillinger seems to be feeling a bit self-conscious, wanting to maintain his friendship, and apologizes. Crews tells him not to do it again before walking off.

We cut backstage to where The Revival are watching the previous match and talking out the potential for either The Ascension or the Crews and Dillinger team to be on the Survivor Series team. American Alpha walks into the locker room and slow claps, drawing attention. The two have a back and forth about the merits of the Revival and the skills of Alpha. Eventually, the Revival tells Alpha theyíre just the everyday losers of the world who are just working so damn hard to be the mid-level management of a chain restaurant one day. They just donít have what it takes to be stars, and they wonít be on the Survivor Series team until they show they can actually win.

As Revival walk out of the locker room, bumping shoulders with Alpha, we see Randy Orton stalking around backstage. He checks in the locker room, and sees Alpha dejected. He keeps moving, and checks another door, and behind a corner. He screams out for AJ Styles, and runs into Dean Ambrose just as he does. He tells Ambrose heís heard that Styles is around, and he wants to get his hands on him. Ambrose tells him that itís ďcuteĒ how much he cares about Styles, but itís a little creepy.

Orton tells Ambrose he doesnít understand, and honestly, he should be thankful for Ortonís obsession with destroying The Club, otherwise he wouldnít have that WWE Championship. Ambrose balks, telling Orton he didnít need his help at No Mercy and that Orton didnít even really do much. The two go back and forth for a while, with Ambrose making some corny jokes and Orton trying to intimidate Ambrose. Eventually, Ambrose snaps and gets in Ortonís face, telling him that if he wants to face Styles so bad, go for it, do your worst, go to the ring and call him out and beat him down. But come Survivor Series, it wonít be Styles across the ring. It wonít be Ziggler, it wonít be Cena, it wonít be The Undertaker, itíll be Dean Ambrose and thatís who you should fear.

Orton shakes his head as Ambrose walks off, and the camera cuts to ringside for another match. Baron Corbin takes on The Vaudevillains in a handicap match, and destroys them in a relatively quick match. Afterward, he grabs a microphone and says if this is the best they can offer, the tag team division must be even weaker than he thought. Until heís given some real competition, until heís given his due time, heís going to keep running right through every single one of them. Heís going to brutalize them, heís going to break them. Thereís nothing anyone can do about it. Rhyno was just the first casualty, there will be more blood spilled if he isnít given his respect.

We cut away to see Heath Slater standing outside an arena and talking on his cell phone. He mentions being in Newark, New Jersey, the location of last weekís SmackDown Live. Heís told that heís gone to the wrong arena, and he doesnít have the time to make it out to Scotland. He hangs up and gives a distraught ďohh mannnĒ as we cut away.

Santino Marella is back in his interrogation room with Nikki Bella. Sheís talking about how obvious it is that Naomi is a prime candidate for being the mystery attacker. Santino doesnít seem to agree, but Nikki provides evidence. She says how Naomi is jealous of everyone else getting the spotlight, and how Naomi has been primed as just the quiet one in the corner since the attacker thing started. If anything, Naomi tried to get Carmella hurt earlier by egging her on to face Alexa Bliss at No Mercy. Santino disagrees and notes that Nikkiís laces are frayed on her top. Nikki says it mustíve been an issue at the dry cleaner, and sheís planning to contact them again. Santino looks very concerned with Nikki, who continues on about how Alexa and Naomi are obviously the only two options to be the attacker until Santino tells her he has to ask her to leave so he can continue the interrogations to further his case.

The Miz is heard outside the room where the interrogations are happening, and we go out to see him talking to Maryse about how stupid it is that he has to defend his Intercontinental Championship tonight. The Miz is a headlining star, a main eventer, and yet heís reduced to some sideshow by Daniel Bryan. Maryse agrees, saying the situation is just showing the mismanagement of Bryan and how over his head he is. Miz starts talking about challengers, saying he has no idea who Bryan could even call in, heís beat Kalisto, Dillinger, Crews, and heís going to simply crush -- DEH!!

Bray Wyatt cuts in and gives a maniacal laugh to the cheers of the crowd. He says that tonight we will see the destruction and reconstruction of the egotism of American culture. We will be witnesses to the light bearing of the Wyatt Family as they herd in the Hype Bros. to the glory that is a sinless life. Victory is not only assured, it is necessary, in order to save the people from the follies of man. He turns his attention to Miz. He simply calls him a sinner, but is very swift with his message. He says for Miz to hold close what he holds dear and assures Miz he will be seeing him soon.

Going back to The Miz, heís very obviously afraid and looking around a bit while Maryse is very frightened. Miz grabs Maryse by the arm and pulls her away, heading toward the ring for his match, and trying to avoid Wyatt.

Out to the ring following a break, Miz awaits his opponent for the Intercontinental Championship that Daniel Bryan has chosen for him. After a long pause, Randy Orton comes out smirking and looking around for AJ Styles. With no sight of him, he seems to give Miz his limited attention, and Miz takes advantage to get the upperhand. Orton has a good run after a while, finally focusing on Miz and getting his usual run off. Maryse is ejected from ringside, but while she fights and argues with the referee, The Club run in and attack Orton. The Usos hit a double superkick, and Styles nails a springboard 450 to seemingly knock Orton out. Miz gets the pinfall victory and holds on to his title, while The Club stand tall over Ortonís body.

We cut away, and see Santino Marella again going at the interrogations, this time with Alexa Bliss. He is very insistent that she must know the attacker at the very least, and mentions her connection to the clues. Alexa says if anyone has benefited from this attacker nonsense, it hasnít been her. The person she beat at No Mercy goes down, the person sheís facing for the Number One Contendership goes down, and every time she just gets pushed further down. Instead, itís Nikki Bella and Naomi benefiting. She cites Nikki becoming the first Number One Contender for the SmackDown Live Womenís Championship due to the attack on Natalya as evidence toward her, let alone the things she does to people in the ring like the laces. Naomi is no saint either, she says, drawing that Naomi pitted everyone against one another, convincing Carmella to start beef with her and getting Nikki and Alexa to focus on each other so she could sneak up to win. Obviously, thereís some problems here. Santino isnít convinced, and says he really has no idea who did it currently, but heís working on a theory he has. Alexa rolls her eyes and tells him to just not make the same mistake we all know he will and mess everything up. Santino is offended as Bliss lays into him for the stupid things heís done and the camera zooms on the door as if to follow outside.

As we leave the room, we find The Club walking by looking smug as they come face to face with Dean Ambrose who looks angry from the attack last week by The Club. Dean drops his WWE Championship and runs at the trio, tackling down AJ Styles and throwing haymakers as The Usos try to pull him off. They eventually do, but it only draws his ire. Dean tosses them into boxes, walls and tables all around before turning back to AJ and continuing his brawling. While AJ is attempting to get away, Randy Orton comes up from behind and grabs him. Orton says something about AJ being his, and grabs him, throwing his own punches and tossing AJ into the wall. Dean looks on, upset, then pushes Orton. Orton pushes back, and the two get into a brawl with each other, throwing punches wildly and trying to take each other down.

Eventually, while AJ is still recovering, The Usos come back into the fray and attack both Dean and Randy, blindsiding them while they assault each other. They knock both men back and as they do DIY comes running into the mix and attacks The Usos. Itís an all out war it appears, and Orton is the first up between him and Dean, targeting AJ again. Styles and Orton brawl a bit while Dean recovers, shrugs and runs at the two. Security runs in and has to break up the fight, trying to hold back as many people as possible but struggling to as Dean is after both Orton and Styles and vice versa amongst the three of them. We fade away as security continues to try to get a handle on the situation.

We cut to Dolph Ziggler at the interview area, he talks about how wrong it is that he was assaulted last week by Dean Ambrose. He says the fight wasnít fair, it never is with Ambrose, and yet people continue to cheer him. Heís noticing a trend in the choices of Daniel Bryan, how he aligns himself with John Cena and Ambrose. He things Bryan just wants to piggyback on success and that ďcoolĒ factor. He sees that Bryan simply wants the attention for himself, he wants somebody to focus on him. If it were about the right thing, he would be treating people like Dolph Ziggler like gold, but no, Daniel Bryan is all about himself.

Daniel Bryan steps into frame and tells Ziggler that simply isnít true. He tells Ziggler that if he would go out and earn his shot every week rather than stand here and bitch and moan all the time, maybe heíd actually get something once in awhile. Instead, here it goes again, the weekly episodic series of Dolph Ziggler complains about the world. This week on Days of our Lives, right? Ziggler gets angry and tells Bryan that this is just what he wants to do, drive off all the real and talented performers, the ones who go day in and day out, who fight for their meals on their tables and want to provide for their families. He wants a show to be dedicated to his friends and making him look cool and good, while the talents like Miz, Ziggler and others are pushed aside and ignored simply because they wonít conform.

Bryan denies that, and tells Ziggler that actually, he was looking for him to give him good news. Ziggler has been added to Team SmackDown Live at Survivor Series, and it has already been approved. So welcome to the team, Dolph! Ziggler is again furious, telling Bryan he doesnít want to be on his stupid team, but Bryan tells him itís too late and itís already signed, congratulations though. Ziggler goes to continue complaining as -- DEH!

We cut out to the ring, thereís a match between The Hype Bros. and The Wyatt Family led out by Bray Wyatt. Zack Ryder is pretty numbed and scared of the Wyatts in the early goings, and Mojo Rawley takes the lead. However, after a while of seeing Erick Rowan and Luke Harper torturing Mojo and dominating him, Ryder gets his confidence and jumps into the fray with a great run and a Broski Boot to Rowan. Though he only gets a two count, itís a good show of courage from Ryder before heís taken down by a discus clothesline from Harper. After the match, Ryder is seen holding his leg and Mojo knocked out.

Bray Wyatt instructs his monstrous followers to leave the duo, calling them the scum of the earth who will wallow away in their self-pity before finally dragging themselves to the light. Tonight, theyíve seen that light, and now they must suffer in their existence in order to truly understand the pains they must endure. On his knees in the middle of the ring, Wyatt spreads his arms and calls for his fireflies to join him in displaying the light and guiding the fallen ones to the gates of happiness, a world without sin, a world without fault, a world of the Wyatts. DEH!

We cut to outside the Tag Team locker room as Apollo Crews and Tye Dillinger are having a bit of a confrontation. Dillinger is starting to feel a bit neglected, and Crews denies it, saying Dillinger is an equal partner on the team. In fact, obviously pulling back to his prior conversation with The Vaudevillains, he brings up naming the team. He doesnít put much thought into it, though, and suggests just naming the team after himself, The Apollo Crew or something like that. Dillinger shakes his head and says they have a good thing going as is, theyíre on the way for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships, but not if they keep losing to The Ascension.

The Revival step into the frame, walking up to the duo and giving a knowing-yet-arrogant smirk to them. Dawson tells them to quit babying around all the time and get into the locker room. Dillinger walks into the door nearest them, but Crews waits for a moment. He tells The Revival about being a fan of theirs, and starts kissing their ass so to speak in order to make the Survivor Series team. Dillinger comes back as Crews is trying to convince them to like him, and Crews quickly stops to hide his somewhat bad intentions from his partner. They both walk in, and the camera follows over the shoulders of The Revival as they walk in.

They quickly announce their presence, calling everybody sissies and idiots. They tell the group of teams from Ascension to Usos that theyíre not looking for the kind of people thatíll go above and beyond to lose out there like American Alpha. Theyíre looking for a group that can fight, scratch, claw and actually win something. They want people who shut up, punch people and get the job done by any means necessary unlike DIY and their smart-ass whit. Because of that, theyíve decided to start forming this Survivor Series team already. They announce that The Usos have been added. They also seem to have liked what they heard from Crews and say Team Apollo is on as well!

Dillinger is a little in shock about it, and he and Crews seem to start whispering to each other, Crews with his numbed smile and Dillinger seeming a little angry about how they got on the team. That is until the air is sucked out of the room when American Alpha walk in. The Revival tell them their late, and Alpha say theyíve been around. They say they find it funny how The Revival are all about making everyone be like them. They want cheaters and thieves, not the honest people in this world. Thatís fine, form your merry band of marauders, they can have the captaincy, have their team but thereís one thing they wonít have when they walk in to Survivor Series and thatís the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships. The Revival balk and ask whoís going to take it, and American Alpha respond quickly that they will next week. The two teams get face to face and nearly go to blows, but the other teams pull them apart. Alpha tells Revival theyíll be on the team, whether they like it or not, and they say that next week, theyíll be the champions too. Revival tells Alpha they donít have what it takes, just like all the worthless teams before them who have tried and failed. They just arenít man enough. Alpha says weíll see about that as they walk away.

Out to ringside, we have our main event of the evening. Hometown hero Becky Lynch defends her SmackDown Live Womenís Championship against Naomi. Naomi gets some good moves in from her kicks to the Rear View, but is simply no match for Beckyís strength and skill. Becky manages to win with the Dis-Arm-Her and we fade to black with Becky raising her title high surrounded by her supporters going nuts.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

I felt kind of bad for the short, brief comments on the last show. There was no chance I was doing that two shows in a row.

I have told you since basically the start of this thread that Iíve really enjoyed the way youíve gone about dealing with this Bryan/Miz situation. I really liked the idea of Miz not appearing last week and seemingly being on a sabbatical too. Before I touch on the segment itself, from a booking perspective, if this was dragged out a little longer it could have had a bigger effect. A one week sabbatical still does the job but doesnít put the angle over as big as it could have been. The beginning with Miz/Bryan going back and forth was great, I could imagine Miz losing it by not getting the attention he wants. Maryseís words were damn harsh to Bryan, calling him half a man, good stuff. I really want to know what Bryanís offer is and here is hoping we find out soon. In the meantime, an IC title match tonight and being part of the SS team is all fine. A wonderful segment as you continue one of my favourite angles, great way to start the show.

Based off of what you mentioned before the show, with Santino furthering the angle without actually being the focus still had me a little hesitant. If this segment with Naomi is the sort of stuff youíre going to deliver though, Iím more than happy with it. He is there but itís not necessarily an over the top comedy segment and he isnít saying too much. Naomi pointing the finger at the other girls makes sense, and she still put herself as the quiet, unable to get a word in, innocent girl. Iím really not sure if itís an act or not which is credit to you. Nikki/Naomi confrontation at the end keeps things spicy as well. Another segment that did its job, continuing the awesome womenís angle.

Good first match on the show. The Ascension get a victory, good for them, but letís be real, thatís not what this is about. Crews/Dillinger as a team are definitely on the rocks and that continued here. Crews showing off and then blaming Tye is all good angle progressing stuff. The perfect 11 is GOLD by the way. Interested to see how long Tye puts up with Crewsí crap, but either way, angle is progressing nicely.

The Revival and American Alpha feud is obviously the cornerstone of the tag division which has been one of the highlights of this thread. Another nice segment with Alpha basically being assholes to AA. Sets the scene well though for Alpha to have to prove they should compete at SS. A nice angle that could last a few weeks built off a solid segment.

One thing I enjoy with your recap style of writing is the way you write your segments into each other. For example, as The Revival walked away, we see Randy Orton. I really like those joining sentences you use at the start of a new segment/paragraph. It adds a bit of realism seeming like more than one thing is happening at a time as well. Boom by the way, this segment was fire. Orton looking for AJ makes sense, but Ambrose being the one he finds was interesting. In the beginning it felt pretty generic, with the jokes and what not, but when Ambrose got serious, this turned great. Not because it was an earth shattering segment, but because for the first time in awhile, it feels like Ambrose/Orton at SS will have some heat around it. Iím also noting the mention of The Undertaker, just in case. A step in the right direction here for sure.

Baron Corbin squashes another team, good for him and his push I guess. His hatred for the tag division is a little weird, but I guess it gives him something to do. I donít really understand why it is just the tag division that he is angry at though, I think that justification of this angle is a little weak. Also donít have him squashing to many more tandems that you may need to at least look solid against teams like AA, Revival in time killer matches later on.

Iíve enjoyed the comedy with Slater and Rhyno at the hospital, but this wrong arena one didnít really rub me the right way. Not really funny, more makes Slater look brain dead.

Another womenís angle continuation segment, this time with Nikki Bella. Much like Naomi, she is basically blaming everybody but herself. Santino mentioning the laces was pretty funny as well.. Anyway, besides that, segment was solid.

The Miz having a whinge was fine, really just hyping up the IC Title match later tonight. I have no issues with that, good stuff.

Bray interrupting and having a go at The Hype Broís was written sensationally, as you continue to nail his characterisation. Wyatt telling Miz he will see him soon interests me greatly... Bray needs a bigger name to work with asap. Miz would be an interesting one to play off. Great stuff.

Miz/Orton is a big time match and I think thatís why youíre lured in to book it. In my head though, it doesnít make sense for a GM to want to give a guy who is a few weeks away from challenging for the WWE title, a shot at the IC belt. Didnít like the booking of this match in terms of choosing the challenger at all. The match itself went along well though, and the interference of The Club made sense to further their beef with Orton. The Miz picks up a huge victory and Orton doesnít look bad in losing, thatís all well and good. I still think the match shouldnít have taken place though.

The third one of these women being questioned segments is done pretty well. Santino questioning Alexa, saying she at least must know the person, leading to Bliss going on a rant was done well. Each woman has made some valid points at this time so Iím intrigued to see where it goes. Alexa berating Santino at the end was good laugh as well, good stuff.

Ambrose takes no crap and this continues with the theme, as Ambrose jumps The Club. Honestly, just a really good brawl here, with Orton getting involved as well. All three men want a piece of each other, really good stuff. I might as well mention at this point the triple threat match is bound to happen, and hopefully the champions interaction with the others continues like this week. Previously Iíve felt it has been too much AJ/Randy focused.

Dolph hating on Bryan in his interview made sense, as did Bryan basically defending himself. Ziggler having to team up with Cena was never going to go down well, so I thought this was all done well. Again, I do feel as if some of these backstage segments have been a little underwhelming considering youíre announcing people to the SS team.

The match seemed to go okay and finally The Wyattís take care of business in regards to The Hype Brothers. Iíve mentioned previously that I felt like they are better than this, and even though youíve tried hard here, I still think it feels as if Bray has been wasted a little recently. Still, finally ending things with the win and Brayís awesome promo afterwards sets them up for whatever could be next. I look forward to it.

I actually really enjoyed the tag team segment here. All of the guys getting some words in and the team for SS begins to form. The Revival as the leaders has been awesome as was this segment. The Usoís are a shoe in and Tye and Apollo getting in due to Crewsí sucking up is awesome. Their angle continues greatly here. The name Apollo Crew being suggested was awesome as well. AA and The Revival having a go at each other to hype their match next week is fine. Honestly thought this was a damn good segment, hyping numerous things. Fantastic job.

A little disappointing that youíve been hyping this hometown title defence for weeks, and thereís absolutely no mention of it on this show. Main event should have been hyped a lot more than this. Still, a solid defence for Becky as she looks great here against Naomi. Smart way to end the show with the hometown girl as well.

A really fun show here. As usual, some areas I thought could have been done a little better, but for the most part, another really good show. Potential Raw superstar appearances heading into SS would be awesome as well by the way. Enjoying this thread as much as ever, keep up the great work.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

I thought this episode was great. Two of your best writing attributes are your characterization and your pacing. You switch back and forth between divisions and it keeps things fresh. I loved the backstage brawl it was written well enough for me to picture it. I hope the mystery attacker storyline progresses. Its pretty good but could get stale. I like that Miz and Ziggler both have issues with Bryan. I feel like Miz is gonna fall soon and Ziggler as well. I would love to see the Cleveland boys do a ratedrko situation. This apollo crews heel turn is slow but is being built right. I feel like thi angle is going great and is giving Apollo a personality which he doesnt have in real life. My only two gripes are where is The Baron Corbin angle going and the main event being so short. Other than that The Wyatt Family stuff are my favorite thing going on. I think you're building them up from bottom and thats exactly what they need.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

SMACKDOWN LIVE NEWS & NOTES (MONTHLY-ISH EDITION)

THE BIG WOMENíS REVEAL, BRYAN LEAVING SOON AND MORE

Word has been going around lately that SmackDown Live is pleased with the results of the womenís mystery attacker angle. Slowly building it up and using it to drive different stories, they put a lot into this storyís success. So far, it appears to be working as people are left wondering who the attacker is and when theyíll be revealed.

In a rumor going around, weíve heard that they plan to do the big reveal at Tables, Ladders and Chairs on December 8th. They anticipate using the final weeks for building up Survivor Series within the story, and then have a quick couple of weeks to get the heat ramped up and drive home in TLC. The hope is that by then people are still wondering who the attacker is, and theyíll be able to deliver a big shock in their final pay-per-view of 2016. With the hype around the storyline, they think this could be a show stealing revelation and theyíre excited to see the reaction.

The build-up to TLC is expected to have a lot more focus on asking who people believe the attacker is, as theyíve been careful to make sure everyone has a point about each other. One rumor going around is that they've only recently decided, taking their time to see if they'd want to bring in an outsider or whom among the remaining women they find the most believable. The expectation is that the stars made from this storyline could help the division immensely for the foreseeable future.

    NOTES:

    • Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are expecting their first child together! Itís exciting news, for sure. However, SmackDown Live is also saddened as now theyíre working on how to allow him a paternity leave. Bryan has requested the hiatus begin shortly before the birth of his first child, and SmackDown Live has some plans in place that could allow that. Watch out around WrestleMania season for Bryan to be written off television to go be with family.
    • Speaking of WrestleMania, thereís talk with the resurgence of Randy Orton that plans are back on with him. After some poor returns early on, heís been consistent here and is expected to be able to carry his part in a high level feud. The question now is just who that feud will be with. Thereís talk of him facing off with Dean Ambrose long-term, AJ Styles continuing, or even a switch over to Dolph Ziggler following his John Cena storyline.
    • Bray Wyatt is looking good lately, and the expectation is that heíll continue to build on his recent returns with lower level wins while cutting promos on higher level opponents like The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. SmackDown Live sees him as a tweener figure who could reasonably challenge anybody at any time, making him a valuable commodity. They want to have him slow burn a feud for WrestleMania with a top level opponent, the question is who he'll challenge. Expect to see him play a part in the Elimination Chamber come February.
    • Speaking of Elimination Chamber, thereís talk of using this build up of multiple contenders toward the Elimination Chamber. The tag team division has been built to be deep and have multiple contenders at any time, and theyíre looking at potentially doing a tag team elimination chamber match. They will have to find a sixth team to enter however, and are working on building one up to join the current top-5. Weíll update with more as we hear it.
    • For the tag teams, thereís talk of varying the matches for the tag team titles over the next few months. SmackDown Live wants to continue to build how deep the tag team division is by having consistent title matches featuring American Alpha, DIY, The Usos and others. Thereís even talk of trying to build up The Ascension to be a more powerful force.
    • There's been talk backstage for SmackDown Live of trying to adjust their pay-per-view promo count. They've been occasionally running over time, and while they believe this to be good for the characters, they see this as a time to focus on the in-ring work more so. They'll be testing with Survivor Series as well as TLC what could be a comfortable amount of promo time.
    • Thereís talk backstage about a return of a superstar from an earlier storyline from this year. Nobody has given a name, although there are conversations of them playing a part in the tag team division or in the midcard. Itís unknown what that role could be. There's been talks of it playing a part in The Miz's new contract clause from Daniel Bryan, or playing a part in the story with The Wyatts. We'll give more information as we are able to receive it.

    BTB NOTES:

    • Going into my third Talking Smack (expected to be posted tomorrow), I'm looking into the possibility of changing formats in the future and instead of doing week by week, going to a post-PPV full show. PPV is the time when there's a lot of impactful moves and changes happening and could be a great time to highlight, but I also find week to week to have meaningful moments of it's own. We'll see at the end of this trial run what may be the most successful, but that is an alternative option that could come up.
    • I'm only doing these news posts every so often (did one a little before No Mercy, now a little before Survivor Series, don't expect another until around the Rumble) just to give updates on the behind the scenes and try to get some ideas of how things are perceived as well with little comments this way or that way on my end.
    • As usual, I appreciate all of the feedback from everybody! Stojy, you continue to be my most ardent supporter and I really am thankful for every comment you've made. I'm getting into a point where I'm rewriting a lot of the upcoming episodes, so we'll see how the stories get over. I appreciate all of the feedback at all times, no matter what it is, it's helpful to me and I'm trying to put it all to good use.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

    TALKING SMACK SNIPPET

Talking Smack opens up this week with Renee Young and Daniel Bryan introducing, fresh off her win in the main event, the SmackDown Live Womenís Champion, Becky Lynch. Becky lays her title on the table, wipes sweat off her forehead and grabs a microphone.

BECKY LYNCH || Hey guys! Howís it going?

RENEE YOUNG || Good! How are you feeling? Just got back from a match and all.

DANIEL BRYAN || Iím sure youíre pretty exhausted, it was a good match there.

BECKY LYNCH || Yah, it was. Naomi came to fight, she got in some good moves here and there. I had to pull some old tricks out, but I got it done.

DANIEL BRYAN || Alright, Iím going to cut to the chase. So, Santino Ö

    BECKY LYNCH || DanielÖ

    DANIEL BRYAN || Becky Ö.

    BECKY LYNCH || No.

    DANIEL BRYAN || Okay.

A couple of seconds of silence as Daniel looks down at his hands, twiddling his thumbs. Renee starts laughing and breaks the silence, Becky starts laughing as well.

    RENEE YOUNG || Thatís it?

DANIEL BRYAN || I have to respect her wishes, she could break my arm!

BECKY LYNCH || Uh! I would never!

DANIEL BRYAN || You almost broke Naomiís tonight!

BECKY LYNCH || Yah, but thatís different.

    DANIEL BRYAN || Why?

BECKY LYNCH || She was coming after my title. No one takes my title from me, Daniel. Nobody. This baby belongs to me.

DANIEL BRYAN || See, sheíll break my arm.

BECKY LYNCH || Are you coming for my title?

DANIEL BRYAN || No, no. You keep that thing over there, you can have it if it costs an arm to get it.

BECKY LYNCH || Thatís what I thought.

RENEE YOUNG || Come on, Daniel. You can go for it, I hear you were pretty good back in the day.

DANIEL BRYAN || Have you seen Becky out there?

BECKY LYNCH || Whatís that supposed to mean?

    DANIEL BRYAN || Youíre scary.

    RENEE YOUNG || Daniel!

DANIEL BRYAN || Just telling it how it is.

BECKY LYNCH || Well, how rude!

DANIEL BRYAN || Look, look. I get it. Iíve been there. You were out in front of the hometown crowd basically.

BECKY LYNCH || Iím from Ireland.

DANIEL BRYAN || I said basically. So, out there, feeding off their energy. Itís easy to get carried away. I donít blame you. Iím not like, calling you the attacker.

BECKY LYNCH || Better not. And it so isnít the same.

RENEE YOUNG || As good a time as any, Becky, could you maybe shed some light for us on whatís been going on surrounding the secret attacker?

BECKY LYNCH || Sure. So, somebody, and we donít know who, and Iím not naming names. I could name names. I could name a lot of names. But I donít point fingers, and Iím not placing that blame. Somebody, whoever they are, snuck up and attacked Natalya when she was heading out for a number one contender match. We presume the same person attacked Carmella after she had been named number one contender. It just seems a bit fishy, the circumstances that have surrounded those. Donít you think?

DANIEL BRYAN || Sure, soÖ Santino?

BECKY LYNCH || Again, no. I donít plan to acknowledge his place in it.

DANIEL BRYAN || Iím just so curious!

    BECKY LYNCH || Moving along.

RENEE YOUNG || So for a female competitor, it must be a scary time, right?

BECKY LYNCH || Oh, frightening, Renee. Think about it, anytime you leave the locker room you have to be watching your back because you donít know who or what or when or where anything will happen. It could be at any moment.

DANIEL BRYAN || Well, we do have that poem to sort of guide us a bit.

BECKY LYNCH || And it says something about a red herring right now. I have red hair, is that it?

DANIEL BRYAN || Do you know what a red herring is?

BECKY LYNCH || Of course I do, but this person could be sadistic, Daniel. What if theyíre trying to make us feel safer? What if the poem is the red herring?

RENEE YOUNG || I never thought of that.

BECKY LYNCH || Most people donít.

DANIEL BRYAN || So you just live in fear?

BECKY LYNCH || I mean, Iím the champion so, I sort of have to be used to it.

RENEE YOUNG || Speaking of which, congratulations on that win. The title looks good.

BECKY LYNCH || Thanks! Yah, itís nice and shiny. I take care of it like itís my own child. This thing is the most important part of my life right now.

DANIEL BRYAN || The most important?

BECKY LYNCH || Absolutely. Daniel, you know what itís like. You scratch, you fight, you claw your way to the top of that mountain. Iíve seen the clips. I was there. And you finally make it, and youíre holding that one most valuable thing in your hands and you will do anything to hold on to it. I wonít compromise my morals, Iím not Nikki Bella. I wonít cheat, I wonít try to choke someone out. Iím not an Alexa Bliss whoís going to whine and cry. Iím not like them. I worked hard to get to where I am. I worked harder than anybody on this roster, harder than all of them combined, to get to where I am. Daniel, you know that feeling. Youíve done it. It is the most overwhelming feeling in the world. Itís good, itís exhilarating, itís terrifying, itís amazing. Thereís no other feeling than being a champion, THE champion. I am THE champion. Iím not letting this baby go. Not now, not ever.

DANIEL BRYAN || I believe it.

RENEE YOUNG || Passionate speech. Powerful. Becky, thank you for joining us.

BECKY LYNCH || Thanks for having me.

RENEE YOUNG || Weíll hopefully have you back soon.

BECKY LYNCH || With the title. Bye guys!

    RENEE YOUNG || Bye!

Becky grabs her title and holds it up, pointing it toward the camera and pointing at it while mouthing something about being the champion. Daniel and Renee segway through, talking about the passion in Beckyís comments and how delightful she is to be around before going to their next guest.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

A pretty good edition of Talking Smack here. Becky after her title run is very happy and whilst I think sometimes itís a little over done in WWE, I get why you had the somewhat humorous dialogue early on in the segment. Beckyís passionate speech about being the champion was awesome. When she talked about all the different emotions and what not, was really good stuff.

Iím still intrigued to see if anything further happens with Beckyís Santino situation... Besides this, all the talk of the attacker angle keeps things interesting. I swear nearly every time a woman cuts a promo at the moment, I think they are the attacker.

Iíve said it before and Iíll say it again, a fantastic angle.

A pretty good edition here, looking forward to the next show.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

As usual, thank you for the comment stojy. I'm glad Talking Smack seems to be coming into it's own a bit, though I don't have this week's written yet. That women's angle has been a pleasure to write so I'm trying to milk it for all I can for the next few weeks, I'm so glad that people are enjoying it.

    SMACKDOWN LIVE
    NOVEMBER 15, 2016

We open to the sound of a motor revving and WWE Champion Dean Ambrose comes marching out with his title on his shoulder. He takes a moment to soak in the cheers before calling out Randy Orton. He says that Orton has been a man possessed, or better yet, obsessed with another man who doesnít even hold the biggest prize. Itís as if Orton doesnít even want to win, doesnít even want to be the best, he just wants to get revenge. So he has a message for Randy Orton. Before he can continue, Orton comes out to interrupt.

Orton taunts Ambrose a bit, mockingly asking if he has a message for him before saying it doesnít matter if he has a message for him. The message, as you could see last week, was that Dean Ambrose should be happy he isnít the focus and just hold that title close because at Survivor Series, heís going to lose it. The message, as you could see last week, is to stay out of the way of The Viper, because if you donít, you will be sent on a one way trip to the hospital all from one, devastating RKO. The message -- Ambrose cuts him off, saying the message is that Randy Orton is too stuck up his own ass to understand that heís overlooking the most important factor. Dean Ambrose is the champion, and Dean Ambrose doesnít care if you think AJ Styles is yours, when he feels like it, Dean Ambrose is going to kick some ass!

Again, Orton doesnít care. Do what you want, Dean, but stay out of my way. You have no way of knowing whatís about to hit you, and so maybe, if you had half a mind, youíd step aside and let it happen before it runs you over like everyone else in the path. Whether it be The Usos or Gallows & Anderson or you, anybody in my way to Styles is going to be beaten, battered and destroyed. Ambrose tells Orton his arrogance is amusing, to say the least. Next week, heís going to destroy AJ Styles, heís going to carry the WWE Championship into Survivor Series, and heís going to do the same thing to Randy Orton. Talk the talk all you want, Randy, but you canít walk the walk anymore.

AJ Styles comes out, taunts the two, calling them the star-crossed lovers of SmackDown Live. He says he doesnít need the entourage to prove heís better than both of them. He says next week heíll become the WWE Champion on the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live, and then, guess what? Heís going to once again beat up Randy Orton. And what can they do about it? Bicker about who gets to lose the worst? Fight about who gets to fail again? He doesnít care. Itís the era of AJ Styles, and you all should just step in line. Orton and Ambrose look at each other, then at Styles whoís in the ring now, and attack him. They cross each other a few times in the assault, but ultimately are focused on taking Styles out. Eventually, Orton hits Styles with the RKO only to get up and be hit with a Dirty Deeds. Ambrose holds his title up high above his fallen challengers.

We cut backstage to find The Revival in front of the SmackDown Live Tag Team locker room once again. They clap their hands together, and give a speech. They set a ransom. They offer up that anybody who can eliminate American Alpha from competing tonight in the main event will be given a SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship match at TLC. We look around to see The Ascension, The Usos, The Vaudevillains all watching. As we pan to the door, we see Apollo Crews standing there nodding as Tye Dillinger comes by and asks whatís going on. Crews says nothing, tossing his arm around him to block him from seeing or hearing anything and leads him out for their match as The Revival continue their pitch and tell everybody to get out there and be the hero and you can have a shot at the gold.

Out to the ring, we have a tag team match with DIY against Apollo Crews and Tye Dillinger. Crews seems distant throughout the match, and Dillinger notices, trying to get Crews to tag in on multiple occasions but unable to. DIY has a good amount of control because of the rhythm being off, and by the time Crews tags in, heís on an island and gets taken out by the Meet Me In The Middle. After the match, Crews is again upset with Dillinger, saying he shouldíve tagged him in more and that heís being a horrible partner! Dillinger seems somewhat dejected and shakes his head, this time walking out on Crews instead of the other way around.

We cut to backstage where American Alpha are walking through the hallways seemingly stretching out a bit. Theyíre met by The Usos, who give a smirk and start trash talking, telling Alpha that theyíre the hot commodity around here. They tell Alpha that they should probably stop while theyíre ahead, turn around and go home before itís too late. Alpha tells The Usos they arenít in the mood, and says that this is a big night for them and not to ruin it. The Usos tell them theyíre just ruining it themselves if they try to get by them. Alpha goes to push by, and The Usos grab them and start throwing punches. They toss Gable into the wall and double team on Jordan until DIY comes running in for the save hot off their match! They tackle down The Usos and hold them back, telling Alpha to get out of there and focus on their match. Alpha heads out while the camera fades on The Usos pushing DIY off and giving chase, but being unable to find them.

We go into Shane McMahonís office where heís sat across from Santino Marella. Santino is going on and on about how he feels like nobody is paying him any attention, and he just canít seem to make headway. He mentions how heís found out the next member of The Club, heís solved the catering problem and yet he canít do anything about this mystery attacker. They just wonít let him in. Heís starting to feel simply dejected, like maybe he shouldnít even be there. Shaneís eyes grow wide on the last statement, and he realizes his attempt at using Santino is working, but could soon fail. He tells Santino he hired him for his quirks, he hired him for the results he knows he can bring. He doesnít want Santino to do the same old stuff like all the usual Private Investigators, he wants the unusual tactics Santino brings to the table. So get in there and do what Santino would do. Santino contemplates for a bit, and agrees.

Santino seems to be doing better and perks up as he leaves the office. Following him out, we run into The Miz with Maryse walking around backstage. They run into Daniel Bryan, by some stroke of luck. Miz tells Bryan that he doesnít know what game he thinks heís playing right now, but itís going to stop here. The disrespect he feels from having to defend his Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown Live and against Randy Orton on such short notice is asinine. He says a match of that magnitude should be advertised a month ahead, should be put on billboards and commercials. He says itís a travesty that Mizís face wasnít plastered around the globe and that he had to instead suffer through an assault that he was unprepared for simply because of Bryanís arrogance and ignorance.

Bryan responds with dignity, telling Miz that Orton just decided he wanted to go out there, and it wasnít all his own decision. Miz balks at this, but before he can respond -- DEH! Bray Wyatt, surrounded by Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, appears on the screen. ďVanity is a horrible syndrome for the weak of will and the misguided souls.Ē He directs his sermon of sorts toward Miz, telling him to be careful what he wishes for. He says that he has an affinity for shiny objects and his name in lights, he wants to be the star of the show, he wants to stare at his own face all day and all night. He tells Miz that the sins of man cannot be simply forgiven, they must be answered for. He tells Miz that he will answer for his sins soon. He gives a maniacal laughter as it fades.

It cuts back, and Miz looks nervous. He grabs Daniel and says he doesnít know what just happened, but he wants it to stop, now! Daniel pushes him off and tells him thereís nothing he can do about that, and Miz says he has to, heís the general manager, he has that power! Bryan insists he doesnít, and tells Miz that when it comes to the Wyatts, the only thing to do -- is run. He tells Miz that heíll see him next week, heís sure with more complaints. Miz grabs Bryan one more time and tells him that he is demanding something be done about Bray Wyatt, and Bryan thinks for a minute then tells Miz he has a perfect plan and adds Wyatt to the Survivor Series team.

With Miz in shock and upset, we cut away to the ring where Baron Corbin comes out and cuts a promo on how disgusted he is that despite everything heís done, tonight appears again dedicated to the tag teams. He says heís proven his dominance and his worth, and yet it appears to go unnoticed. If he has to, he will be spilling blood soon. If he must, he will crush anybody who is daring enough to get in his way until he gets the time that he deserves. Heath Slater comes out to answer the challenge, looking hesitant, and calls Corbin a bully and a monster for what he did to Rhyno.

In what is a quick match, Corbin dispatches Slater with a massive Deep Six and then continues to beat him down for a while until security breaks it all up. Slater is left dizzy and potentially concussed while Corbin storms out.

Backstage, American Alpha peak out of a room and walk out slowly. Gable is wondering whatís going on, mentioning having had to fend off Breezango earlier as well as The Usos. They take just a few steps up the hallway to find The Ascension ominously looking on from down the hall. They turn and The Vaudevillains are suddenly cutting off their escape route. They nod to each other, then Jordan turns and takes on Ascension while Gable is fighting with the Vaudevillains. Konnor seems to match power with Jordan, but Gable tosses both of the Vaudevillains into the wall and boxes and crates lying about before turning and jumping to hit a massive clothesline to Konnor and knocking him down. He and Jordan lift Konnor up and toss him into Viktor, knocking both into the wall, to break free of them and leave the four men in a heap as they run off.

However, as they rush off, looking back to make sure they've beaten the attackers -- they run into Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson from Raw! Invading before Survivor Series, the two attack Alpha hoping to use the bounty to their advantage. The two teams brawl a bit, leaving Alpha exhausted as they finally dispose of the Raw tandem with the help of DIY coming to the rescue yet again. The Usos attempt to help their Club brethren, but are unable to as Alpha has gotten hot and started beating everyone down alongside DIY. DIY tells Alpha to get to the ring, they'll take care of the bounty hunters. Alpha thanks them and runs off.

Cutting to backstage, we have an interview with the always lovely Dolph Ziggler. He starts complaining, as usual. He goes off to the camera, speaking directly to Daniel Bryan, saying heís not about to start following like a coward. He isnít about to start doing his bidding. He isnít about to become a follower and a nobody like a Daniel Bryan is. He says heís not here to be a follower and to just fall in line and work for SmackDown Live. He isnít here because of some intense love for the brand, he doesnít care where he is, heís just here to win championships and get paid. So what Daniel can do, is shove that spot on the Survivor Series team up his ass, because Dolph Ziggler doesnít want it -- DEH!!

After earlier cutting off The Miz, it appears another target is on the radar. Bray Wyatt appears in a flash, the space around him emptied. He gives a sinister laugh, saying how petty it is to challenge yourselves along party lines. The reds, the blues. He asks if you ever wonder why weíre here? (#easteregg) He says itís certainly not because weíre meant to battle each other for glory and sins. He says heís noticed a trend around the WWE as of late, the ways people act. Others have fallen, and so shall those who fail to grow and expand their horizons. Those who fail to follow the buzzards to eternal happiness. Dolph, Miz, and all of the others around. Donít make the mistake. Follow the buzzards. Or Run.

Through static we cut back to Dolph, who looks annoyed but starts looking around to see if Wyatt is nearby. Failing to see him, he grabs the microphone and says thatís the kind of disorganization that happens around here. We hand things to John Cena, we allow lunatics to hold titles, we give in to everybody and everything and now it doesnít matter whoís doing what, Bray Wyatt can just take over. Daniel Bryan has failed SmackDown Live. Everything has gone to chaos and disrepair. Daniel Bryan is a failure. Heís failed as a general manager, and Dolph says he refuses to represent him at Survivor Series.

Off to the womenís locker room we go, where Santino Marella is standing before what appears to be, as Dolph had pointed out, chaos. Nikki Bella is in Becky Lynchís face, talking about how she saw her on Talking Smack last week and heard what she said. If she has a problem, maybe she could say it to her face and they can decide it in the ring. Becky says she has nothing to prove, but she has a lot to say about Nikki. She says how Nikki is a no good cheater, and sheís been noticing it more and more. Itís fine though, some people just donít have the wit about them to be half a good person. Naomi gives a chuckle, and tells Nikki that she just got told. Nikki starts berating Naomi, telling her to stay out of it, and saying how this is the example of why this locker room has gone to shit.

Nikki goes on a tirade, talking about the good old days when the people in the locker room werenít at each otherís throats all the time. She says that she does nothing wrong and all she gets is blame, everywhere she goes. Her laces fall out, and people say sheís a monster. She tries to play the sob story sheís used so many times, but smart enough to recognize it, Becky and Naomi shut it down quickly. Naomi tells Nikki sheíll get the tissues out if she just wants to sit here and cry about everything, but her and Becky are going to keep working and fighting for what they have instead. Nikki says sheís no sob story, and if anyone is, itís Naomi and her constant failures from her dance career to her wrestling career. Becky steps in to defend Naomi, and the three are at each otherís throats again while Santino looks on in dismay. He tries to get them to stop, but it only leads to their tensions being taken out on him. He realizes he canít stop them as the womenís locker room is imploding, and leaves. We follow to where he seems to have an idea and says ďif they wonít listen to meÖ maybe theyíll listen to her.Ē

Back to the ring for another match, we have Alexa Bliss take on a local talent in a relatively quick match. Bliss gets in all of her moves, and gets out a lot of aggression with her chokehold STO. She nails a DDT and sets up for the Twisted Bliss for the finish and the victory.

While Bliss is celebrating, Dana Brooke comes out of seemingly nowhere and attacks her from behind. Dana starts tearing into Bliss while awaiting her mentor Charlotte with her Raw Womenís Championship. The two team up to assault Bliss until Becky Lynch comes running out for the save, waving on people from the back while she runs out ferociously. She tackles down Charlotte, sends Brooke sailing with suplexes and goes back to being toe-to-toe with Charlotte. Meanwhile, on the ramp, we see Naomi standing and watching as Nia Jax comes in and takes out Becky! She uses her size and strength to dominate Becky, landing a massive Samoan Drop to crush her. The trio invite Naomi to join as the others are sprawled out, and even Nikki Bella seems to encourage Naomi to get into the thick of things. Nikki convinces her, and Naomi charges to the ring, only to be crushed on arrival by Nia. Nikki fakes going forward, but instead backs up and raises her arms to signal she isnít a threat, leaving everyone behind to be destroyed by the Raw women after their differences kept them from helping each other quickly.

Leaving them, we see American Alpha walking toward the entranceway when they suddenly stop. Theyíve run through just about the entire tag team division, and look to be a bit weary, looking around cautiously. They get near, and Apollo Crews steps up between them and the entranceway. Crews claps, congratulating them on how far theyíve gotten, and telling them that theyíre really one of the best. He eggs them on a bit, but then suddenly loses his smile and makes a drastic turn to an angry man telling them that they canít be holding him down like everyone else has. Tye Dillinger walks in and asks Crews what heís doing? He says this isnít the man he came to partner with, and that heís getting sick of this act. Crews says theyíve been chasing championships, and this is it, their big break. They stop Alpha, and they get to challenge for tag team gold. Isnít that what he wants? Dillinger says heís going about it wrong, and tells him to let them go. The two argue, and Dillinger signals for Alpha to sneak by, which they do. Crews tells Dillinger this is the perfect opportunity and itís slipping by, like always, theyíre just being held back from their full potential. Dillinger says not to worry about it, theyíll get there, it just takes time, seemingly soothing Crewsí concerns. Though Crews walks off with Dillinger with a bit of a diabolical look while Dillinger is simply concerned and trying to talk Crews into a change of heart to stay with Dillinger and do the right things again.

Out to the ring for the main event tonight, we have a SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship Match! The Revival line up against American Alpha. Revival look smug for a while until Alpha make their entrance much to the dismay of the champions.

Alpha starts off hot, getting an early lead and a couple of surprising nearfalls with their hyper-aggressive offense. Again, however, Revival try some underhanded tactics to take control, and nearly get the win a few times off a succession of tag team moves. Alpha eventually takes control with a flurry of offense and gets the closest nearfall after a big double alphaplex. Alpha sets up Dash Wilder for Grand Amplitude, and it appears theyíre about to win the championship, getting to two when -- DEH! The lights went out, and when they came back on, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan stood surrounding the ring. The referee halted his count, and the pin stopped for them.

Gable and Jordan both stared down the monsters and seemed to forget about Revival, leading to a sudden roll up from Wilder on Gable that got them a victory. The duo escaped with their titles in hand and raised them high while the Wyatts closed in on American Alpha. As Alpha decided to attack, jumping at the Wyatts DEH! The lights went out again, and the two were gone, leaving just Alpha in the ring and Revival on the ramp with their titles held high. Alpha look around confused and angry while Revival celebrate in exhaustion together as we fade to black.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Tag team heavy episode of Smackdown. American Alpha on the run for the bounty on them is a nice touch. I like the dissension between Tye and Apollo Crews is something I'm interested in. Apollo needs a mean streak and I love it. I've got a feeling the two will come to blows soon enough. I hope AJ finds himself in the WWE championship match. He's too good to be left out or at least be on Team Smackdown.

Thanks for the comment Gambit. AJ having a championship match next week is what's kind of holding him back from where he'll be at Survivor Series, but trust me, he's going to be around.

    TALKING SMACK SNIPPETS

While Renee Young and Daniel Bryan are chatting back and forth, Randy Orton walks up with a scowl and grabs a microphone off the desk. He chooses not to sit.

RANDY ORTON || Who the hell does Dean Ambrose think he is?

DANIEL BRYAN || Um, excuse me?

RANDY ORTON || Who does Dean Ambrose THINK HE IS?!

DANIEL BRYAN || He thinks heís the WWE Champion, which, he is.

RANDY ORTON || Yeah, well the WWE Champion, for now, just made the biggest mistake of his life tonight. Calling out me? Calling out AJ? Fine, whatever, make your mistakes, be a screw up Dean. But to attack me? Iím not one to just sit back and let that happen. Iíve tried that, it didnít do me any good. I was the model employee, and now Iím taking whatís mine.

DANIEL BRYAN || Whatís gotten into you lately? What happened to you, Randy? You used to be --

RANDY ORTON || I used to be what? Happy? Nice? You want to know what happened to me, alright. At SummerSlam, I went toe-to-toe with Brock Lesnar. I held my own fine, and then he cracked open my head and gave me a concussion. You want what happened to me, how about after that, AJ Styles and his Club went around constantly attacking me, constantly holding me back from the ring and you and Shane did nothing about it. What happened to me? Dean Ambrose made a mistake, AJ Styles made a mistake. After Survivor Series, you wonít be asking what happened to me. Youíll be asking what happened to them.

RENEE YOUNG || No offense Randy, but, youíve had trouble with The Club recently --

RANDY ORTON || And Iíve handled it. I had problems with them because theyíre all cowards and thieves. So, since youíre obviously too busy to watch, I went out there and I RKOíd the Usos. I went out and hit AJ Styles with an RKO. I went out there and I showed them that Iím not someone you mess with. Iím a former WWE Champion, Iím the future WWE Champion. Iím not some punk you just run up on and try to steal his lunch money. Iím the snake in the grass that hides and waits for his moment and will strike when the time is right. Whether Shane or Daniel like it or not, I am taking what is mine.

RENEE YOUNG || And whatís yours is?

RANDY ORTON || The WWE Championship, the respect of the locker room, the head of AJ Styles. You can take your pick out of those, theyíll all be mine. I am the most dominant force on SmackDown Live today. I go out, I bring the house down, and I leave the winner. I dominated Baron Corbin.

DANIEL BRYAN || Well, it was competitive.

RANDY ORTON || You could say that a wolf is competitive with a snake, but only until the snake chooses to stop toying with it.

RENEE YOUNG || So you just let Corbin have it easy?

RANDY ORTON || I picked my spots.

DANIEL BRYAN || It sounds like youíre trying to come up with excuses.

RANDY ORTON || Tell me, Daniel. Is it an excuse to be educated? Is it an excuse to be more experienced than your opponent?

DANIEL BRYAN || No, but itís an excuse to come up with something for why you couldnít just beat him easily. Itís fine, Corbin is a strong wrestler.

RANDY ORTON || I donít make excuses. Iím not like AJ Styles. Iím not like The Usos. Iím not like Dean Ambrose. Iím not going to go out there and make mistakes, Iím going to be calm, patient and pick my spots. Iím going to strike when the iron is hot.

RENEE YOUNG || So whatís the mistake Dean Ambrose made again?

RANDY ORTON || He did the one thing no one should ever do, he tried to take advantage of a viper. He tried to sneak up and take control. You won the fight, Dean, congratulations. At Survivor Series, I will show you exactly why you should have just done what I said and stepped aside and let the big boys fight. You shouldíve just gotten out of the way while you could, hold on to that championship as loooonnnggg as you could. Because Dean, you wonít be the champion long. You wonít be free long. The Viper is waiting for you, Dean. And Iím aiming for the throat, and when I strike -- BAM! RKO, one, two, three and once again, Dean Ambrose is just some nobody. Dean, donít make the same mistake again. You wonít be so lucky to get the upper hand next time.

Randy tosses the microphone onto the desk and walks off. Daniel and Renee kind of look at each other with a bit of concern, and Daniel lets out a big sigh. They start talking about the WWE Championship match at Survivor Series.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

    Smackdown Review

End Of Days/Weeks For Slater - After the way that Rhyno and Slater have been portrayed over the last few weeks with Rhyno's concussion I can see the story moving on to Slater either joining or replacing Rhyno in the concussion ward. Really interesting plot and along with Santino I think Slater is your best comedy star for Smackdown. As for Corbin he's continuing his rise through the ranks and if a certain someobody I'll mention later isn't the final member of Team Smackdown then I think Corbin would be an excellent choice for SD to make.

The Mystery Attacker - This has been the most compelling storyline of this so far. Which is amazing considering it's the female division. I've been sleuthing through any clues that may be there and my money is on Becky Lynch. Interesting how superstars that were in line to challenge her kept falling. Nikki is the obvious scapegoat for this and Naomi the red herring that you might think it is but it really isn't. I could be way off but tonight Becky covered her tracks by being the victim of Team Raw.

The Revival's Bounty - Interesting idea to have The Revival put out a bounty on American Alpha's head. DIY came to the rescue tonight and if there wasn't such a dearth of face tag teams on the show I'd have been cool with a turn by DIY. But Gallows and Anderson were held off and Alpha nearly had the titles won but for The Wyatt's. The tag division is definitely hotting up and everyone is seemingly a threat. With The Ascension maybe getting a push I'd be keen to see The Wyatts/Alpha and The Revival/DIY going forward. The Usos are floating around at the moment but with their attachment to Styles that's not too much of a problem.

Unrest In Camp Bryan - Ziggler and Miz are not happy with Bryan and they have pretty legitimate reasons even if you don't like them. The unrest between the two and not only Bryan but Bray Wyatt too is key to what might happen at Survivor Series. We've yet to have the Raw invasion of the main event yet but much like the Women's division I can't see Team Smackdown co-operating. With Wyatt I'm unsure what's going on? He's confronted two heels but then his charges have cost American Alpha the titles. Are they faces? Are they heels? Or just in between loners? Either way I'm definitely looking forward to what Wyatt does in the next few months and also when he comes up against Strowman at Survivor Series.

AJ Styles, Randy Orton & Dean Ambrose - This little triangle has been played brilliantly into Survivor Series. I think with that last spot on Team Smackdown still open you have made the WWE Championship match between Ambrose and Styles unpredictable. I actually think that Styles might be invovled in a more high profile match than a 10-man tag and that Corbin will take the spot, because I can't see Randy Orton not ruining the match next week. A triple threat at Survivor Series is even more appealing to me than a singles match at the pay-per-view.

Overall JayWhy there's interesting plots going on everywhere and I'm keen to see what happens with the WWE Championship, the mystery attacker and the evolution of the tag team division. Keep up the great work, I'll try to keep up the feedback!!

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Hmm, a few different thoughts about this Talking Smack segment. Randy has obviously been tracking nicely as a face over the last few weeks, beginning to have that aggressive edge about him... But the back and forth with Bryan and Renee here, really made me questions whether Orton is heading towards a heel turn. He just sounded really bitter, especially with some of his digs at Bryan being too busy to watch and not doing anything.

Iím not sure if this was supposed to come across this way, but it was very entertaining. I look forward to seeing Ortonís continued progression moving forward.

With real life kicking my ass at the moment, I donít have time for a full review. I do want to comment on a few things regarding this show that really stood out to me though:

Youíve found another awesome way to continue American Alphaís hunt for the gold without having a clean loss. The bounty idea is a terrific idea, as youíd probably know Iíd think as I had something similar running in ECW. The tandems trying to attack Alpha throughout the night, only for them to make the match and then get beaten due to a distraction was awesome. Looking forward to The Wyattís reasoning for feuding with Alpha as well.

Speaking of The Wyattís, Bray beginning to turn his attention to heel characters such as Miz and Ziggler is something I like. I have been wanting to cheer this guy for so long and it looks like a booker is finally giving me that opportunity. I am intrigued to see how you book the Wyatt family though, as Harper and Rowan look set to target AA who are faces.

As much as Iíve complimented you on the tag angle for the night, I feel like the one instance where you failed to deliver within this angle was with Gallows and Anderson. Throwing a Raw invasion in there, just for the sake of it, really did seem a little off. Wasnít a huge fan of that basically being undersold in a couple of sentences.

Whereas, on the other hand, the invasion of the women was sensational. Really made it feel like a big deal, and I was glad this took the upper hand over the mystery attacker angle this week.

Also just want to note, the differences between Crews and Dillinger continue to be sold extremely well.

Show was probably one of the better ones Iíve read from you. I feel as if Iím finding less to pick on now which is terrific. Keep it up, Iíll be reading as always.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

Thank you for the comments guys! I appreciate it a lot! I'm loving getting those predictions for the women's attacker, seems no one agrees which is perfect. As for Bray Wyatt, he's the one I'm planning to experiment the most with soon and try to find the right way of working him. We'll see how that goes, but I'm going to be kind of working some kinks out for a little bit. This episode of SmackDown Live is the 1000th episode special, so it's a bit more of a showcase of big names and so on, so we'll see how everything goes over. Talking Smack will be posted immediately as well so that I'll have plenty of time to get Survivor Series predictions up and get Survivor Series up this weekend, hopefully.

    SMACKDOWN LIVE
    NOVEMBER 22, 2016 -- 1000TH EPISODE SPECIAL

ďBRRR ABIDOĒ and the chants begin the show, ďJohn Cena Sucks.Ē Cena is accustomed to them. He doesnít even pay them any attention, focused on his goal of the night. He looks directly into the camera and starts talking about his past few weeks. He says as he goes around the world, heís been getting these urges to tune in to SmackDown Live. He says that it amazes him to think of how far weíve come, and how in the short time weíve been around heís gone from some rapper from Massachusetts to a 15-time World Champion. He says how he remembers standing in this very ring on his first night and the feeling he got. He remembers the people heís seen grow. He says he remembers back when Dolph Ziggler was more than a dollar store Shawn Michaels with worse hair and a more feminine voice.

On cue, Ziggler comes marching out and tells Cena to shove it. He says Cenaís real original, heís never heard the whole discount Shawn Michaels one before. Iím sure the yes men who pretend to be your friends are real keen to that one. You tell them that on your private jets? In your company vehicles? On your movie sets and your red carpets? The rest of us are here, the creative ones, the workers who fight for every penny theyíve got, weíre right here John. We donít go on those things. We donít make those jokes. We donít live the life of luxury you do. We actually take a hit, give one back and earn it.

Cena tells Ziggler if he thinks John Cena has never taken a hit, heís sorely mistaken. In fact, if youíre man enough, how about you go ahead and hit John Cena right now. But if you do, if you have the cajones, if youíre half the man you pretend to be every week when youíre complaining and demanding everything, then just know that John Cena is going to rock you back. Of course though, Dolph Ziggler is not that man. Heís not the guy that just hauls off and hits someone. Heís not the guy that can just deck John Cena. Heís the guy that sits in the back and stews over not having a World Championship that he didnít really earn. Heís your usual mall cop who says heís spent 10 years on the force when all he does is sit in a little wood box and tell people where GameStop is. Dolph Ziggler is the guy who thinks heís done it all, thinks heís so hot, thinks heís so fresh, but when he comes down to it, heís just Ö not Ö good Ö enough.

Ziggler nearly swings at Cena, then starts laughing. He says thatís what Cena wants. He wants to be right. He wants to be the guy that everyone cheers and laughs with. Get out of high school for once John, your middle school insults donít work here. Instead, weíre going to settle it like men. No, wait, we already did. At No Mercy when I pinned you in the ring, oneÖ twoÖ. three. Or did you forget with your selective memory? Maybe youíve just been too busy John, what with all the hard work you do avoiding the work here in the WWE. Avoiding the fact that you havenít won anything in over a year. John, when it comes to Team SmackDown Live at Survivor Series, I have no idea why youíre the captain. I have no idea why youíre even considered. I have no idea why youíre even HERE anymore. You have another life, go live it and be happy and leave us common folk alone. Iím sick of you, and if you DARE to try and act like youíre the deserving captain, like we need you, Iíll put you right back in your place.

Cena starts saying how heís already beat Shawn Michaels, so whatís it going to hurt to beat his wannabe gremlin. He and Ziggler get nose-to-nose, about to fight when suddenly -- GONG! And the lights go out.

The Undertaker makes his return to SmackDown Live, walking out to the ring to face the two. They continue staring each other down, about to go to blows until Undertaker stares them all down with his cold, dead eyes and silences them until theyíre facing him. Undertaker says heís always considered SmackDown Live his home, and that he has been digging holes and preparing for his return. He says heís back where he belongs, and this sunday at Survivor Series, he expects to see Team SmackDown Live doing well, or whomever it is responsible for the problems will find their soul being taken. Thatís a promise from The Deadman.

We cut away with Undertaker walking away. When we come back, we have a tag team match made suddenly by returning legend Theodore Long. John Cena and Dolph Ziggler will be taking on Apollo Crews and Tye Dillinger. Ziggler and Cena have trouble teaming together, as do Crews and Dillinger after their spats the past couple of weeks. Crews tags himself in a couple of times, but would tag Dillinger right back in, apologizing. Toward the end, he tags himself in for real and starts calling himself the ďfresh manĒ and saying heís better than everyone. While that team has their problems, Ziggler and Cena legitimately seem like they want to fight each other instead. A few times, Ziggler feigns superkicks to Cena. Cena taunts Ziggler a little. In the end, Crews manages to get a sudden roll-up on Ziggler for the win leading to the two nearly coming to blows again. Cena tells Ziggler to leave it at the door next time, and walks away while we see Crews with his big smile raising his arms high and calling himself the winner, while Dillinger just seems bothered. Crews notices a little late and has to chase Dillinger to the back.

Cutting backstage, we go into the womenís locker room where Becky Lynch is confronting Nikki Bella. She asks what that was last week, telling Nicole that sheís sick of what sheís been seeing lately. They have to be a team this Sunday, and if Nicole isnít up for joining them and helping them, if sheís so vain, maybe she shouldnít show up. Nikki gets offended, and tells Becky that someone has to make it out to Sunday alive, right? Nikki says you canít just rush out there full steam ahead only to get your head taken off all the time, thatís how you get hurt, thatís how others get hurt and thatís how you lose a title. Naomi chimes in with a sarcastic yeah while saying Nikki is conceited and was only out there for herself, she really put the spotlight on her though. Becky says for Nicole to do some soul searching, because she certainly isnít a part of the team as is.

As Becky leaves, the camera follows. We pass by Shane McMahon seen talking with Beth Phoenix. Becky pauses the conversation to mention thereís an issue with Nicole, and Shane says heíll talk later. He asks Beth if sheíd be willing to get back in the ring one more time, just to help out for a match this Sunday. Heís trying to convince her with everything he can to be the fifth member of Team SmackDown Live, but she continually refuses, referring back to her daughter and having to be there for her. Santino Marella comes walking up, trying to get Shaneís attention. Shane tells him to wait for a while, and Santino starts talking to Beth. Beth rolls her eyes, thanks to their history, and walks off, telling Shane sheís sorry but she canít do anything. Shane tells Santino he canít talk and follows off as well, leaving Santino standing around trying to get attention for his idea from last week.

We then cut away to a promo with The Club, where AJ Styles starts laying into The Usos, talking about how unacceptable it is that theyíve been performing how they have. Last week they had the opportunity to do what The Club does, beat people up. Instead, Dean Ambrose took out AJ Styles. Instead, Randy Orton assaulted AJ Styles. Instead, DIY took out The Usos. No, no. This isnít The Club here, this isnít the way we doing things in The Club. When it comes to beatdowns and victories, thatís what The Club does. We donít let Randy Orton beat us up, we donít let Dean Ambrose win. No, heís sick of letting them get away with things. They used to be the dominant force of SmackDown Live, itís time to be that dominant force again. The Club is going to take back whatís theirs and get back to winning everything.

A slow clap draws attention of the camera to the side where The Rock is standing and chuckling. Styles asks whatís so funny, and Rock says itís this silly little Club thing. He says when it comes down to it, is it really anything special? I mean, you had the nWo, you had DX, you had The Nation, you had The Corporation, you had all these different groups and now suddenly ďThe ClubĒ is all you can come up with. Thatís the best you got? Look, I get it with the soccer mom hair, the dark toned gear and the Ed Hardy logo, you arenít the most creative of guys. You come from Georgia, itís fine. At least try, though. What do you jabronis even do? You stand there, you talk tough and then you get beat up week after week. For a while you did that whole Beat up John Cena thing, thatís nice, thatís good. But now, all you do is stand around, bitch and moan and get beat up all the time. Letís see that spark, that fire.

Styles tells Rock to shut up. After all, what has Rock done? He lost to John Cena, he lost the world titles, he was revered for being the guy who even lost to The Hurricane! Honestly, you should just go back to Baywatch, and leave this to the real athletes, not the ones who run in slow motion. Rock laughs, tells Styles if thatís his best insult, maybe he should stick to sewing and driving little Allen to football practice and soccer practice. He says Styles should take his Club, take his Japan titles, take his gloves, take his Face that Runs the Whatever and turn it sideways and shove it right up his candy ass. Styles mockingly laughs and tells Rock to get some new catchphrases, because those were so 90s. Rock says so was Stylesís hair. He tells Styles to try and make an impact for once, you have a group here, a successful and strong group, do something with it. Make yourself famous kid, take the bull by the horns, but not the Peopleís Bull, no no, thatís not for you to ride. Styles looks confused then disgusted and tells Rock heís going to make an impact. Heís going to dominate Dean Ambrose, heís going to demolish Randy Orton and heís going to show Rock what a REAL champion is. Rock says good luck and Styles leads The Club off.

Out in the ring, we have the battle royal to be the added to Team SmackDown Live at Survivor Series. With American Alpha, The Ascension, Breezango, The Vaudevillains, and even some throwbacks like The Headbangers and The Spirit Squad. The Hype Bros. are noticeably missing. Konnor of The Ascension is able to eliminate the Headbangers, as well as Simon Gotch, while Chad Gable and Jason Jordan eliminate Fandango and The Spirit Squad. Tyler Breeze is able to get Viktor of The Ascension out, as well as Aiden English, who lasted pretty long and looked good. Konnor eliminates Jordan, leaving Gable to fend off both Konnor and Breeze. They go at it for a while until Gable is able to make Konnor run into Breeze and eliminate him, where Gable then suplexes Konnor a couple times and is able to toss him out to make the team.

Going into Daniel Bryanís office, The Revival barge in! Theyíre saying no, no, absolutely not! They argue with Bryan that thereís no way that American Alpha should be added to the team for Survivor Series and as captains, they refuse to allow it. Alpha has yet to win a match this month, or last month even. They havenít done anything since the early and easy rounds of the tournament. Bryan retorts, saying heís seen everything that Revival has done, itís not like heís suddenly blind or stupid because heís the general manager. So whatís going to happen is that American Alpha are being added to the team, and it doesnít matter what the ďcaptainsĒ say. And also, after your stunt with the bounty last week, DIY is also being added to the team for helping Alpha and making sure it was as fair as it could be. Revival say this is bull, and argue that Bryan is making a big mistake putting the two biggest losers on SmackDown Live on the team, but they say if he wants to lose this series, feel free to screw up the teams. They say theyíll do what they can to salvage it, but Bryanís screwed up. The Revival storm off as we cut away.

Backstage, weíre near the womenís locker room, and Shane McMahon is meeting with Michelle McCool. She gets a decent pop, and Shane asks her about joining Team SmackDown Live at Survivor Series. Like Beth before her, Michelle says sheís forced to refuse. She isnít in ring shape, and wouldnít feel comfortable getting in the ring again that soon. Alexa Bliss walks out of the locker room and goes face to face with McCool. She tells her itís good sheís not going to be at Survivor Series, she wouldnít want to be shown up by the real womenís wrestlers nowadays. McCool tells Alexa off, telling her that she was wrestling while Alexa was just some impressionable cheerleader following everyone elseís commands. She says Alexa has no idea what it was like back in the day, and Alexa cuts her off, saying for ďgrandmaĒ to spare us the details. We get it, you walked uphill both ways in the snow and we have it so easy, right? Try not to break a nail opening a door, princess. Alexa walks off.

McCool gets frustrated and seems to be about to accept Shaneís offer when Santino Marella again pops in. He cuts off Michelle and steps between her and Shane, asking Shane if he could finally get a word with him. Shane says in a moment, but Santino just keeps going. McCool tries to interject, but Santino looks her up and down and calls her rude, saying to wait her turn. McCool gives a shocked look and tells Shane nevermind it anyway, sheís out of this place. Shane tries to stop her, but Santino stops him. Shane finally gives Santino time, and Santino says heís got a perfect idea for the final member of Team SmackDown Live at Survivor Series. Shane says heís all ears, hoping this may be another genius idea where Santino could anger the girls more to get a little teamwork boost, as we cut away.

We cut away to find Baron Corbin walking around, trying to find Daniel Bryan. He ends up face to face with Batista. Batista asks Corbin what's the matter, ďthe big bad wolf can't blow down the brick house so he just goes and bitches about it instead?Ē Corbin tells Batista he should try watching his mouth, or he may suffer the same date as Heath Slater did last week. He says Batista should take his movie career that he just lucked into and tuck his tail and keep moving. Batista retorts with saying how at least he could get what he wanted without having to beg like a common, domesticated dog like Corbin is. He says he hopes Corbin realizes soon how boring it is to beat on people smaller than you, and says to try facing someone his own size. Corbin asks if it's a threat, and Batista says Corbin doesn't have the balls, let alone the skills, to last in the ring with him. Corbin says Batista should try sticking to movies where other people tell you what to say, and let the real stars do what talented people do and dominate. He tells Batista he's done with him, and to get out before he changes his mind.

DEH! We cut to Bray Wyatt surrounded by his Family, and he talks about the conceit of the challenge from one show to another, calling it ridiculous. He says his family extends beyond the brands and divides they create. He plans to use this forum to show the path to greatness that all men must walk, forgoing their ego and becoming more than themselves. He says The Miz, Dolph Ziggler have yet to find themselves, yet to test their desires. He says this weekend is going to different, weíre going to find out the deepest truths of men, and this weekend, the fireflies will guide the path to glory. So Team Raw, Team SmackDown Live, no matter who you are Ö RUN.

We go back to the ring where Shane McMahon announces that heís signed the final member of Team SmackDown Live, who will have a tryout match now. Santina Marella makes ďherĒ entrance to take on a local talent. The local is able to get a pretty good run going, but loses suddenly to a roll up from ďSantina.Ē Santina celebrates like itís WrestleMania while the fans appear pretty annoyed. Nikki Bella comes rushing out to confront Shane, saying she refuses to put up with this. This is completely unacceptable, and Shane gives a smirk and says he knows as he walks off. Nikki looks confused, and then follows after Shane, telling him that doesnít make any sense and demanding he find another person for the team, preferably someone with skill.

Going backstage, we have The Miz walking around, searching for Daniel Bryan. He comes face to face with Edge, who tells Miz that he needs to start rethinking what heís doing with his career. Miz balks and tells Edge to stick to his stupid comedy bits on WWE Network. Edge tells Miz heís drawn the eye of some bad people, and Miz says he has it all figured out, and not to worry. He tells Edge that he has been challenge to the end by Daniel Bryan, and he is absolutely sick of it. He isnít going to put up with anything anymore, and whether Edge understands or agrees doesnít matter. Daniel Bryan is the epitome of a horrible general manager who is only focused on furthering himself and his brand and giving in to his friends and his family. Itís unfair, itís stupid, itís uncalled for. Thereís nothing that will ever redeem Daniel Bryan.

Miz storms off, and we follow as Edge keeps walking and runs into Randy Orton. The former partners take a moment to stare each other down before Edge asks Randy whatís up with him lately. Orton doesnít understand, saying that all heís doing is what heís best at, winning, beating people up, and being the Apex Predator. Edge says that he remembers when Orton was the smartest guy in the room and the most talented, and now what? Heís just some guy that gets jumped every other week by The Club and obsesses over the small things. He knows the big picture, he knows whatís at stake, why is he so distracted all the time? Orton says Edge is seeing too small of the picture, the plan is going to work fine, just wait. Edge is uncertain, but gives Orton a hug and tells him to be careful before walking off.

Dean Ambrose walks out and confronts Orton, telling him that Edge is right. The Viper has lost his venom, and maybe even broke a tooth. Look at the dumb smirk on your face, the thought that you know what youíre doing. Meanwhile, you talk about ending the Club, but you donít even know what youíre really up against. Itís an idea, a thought, barely a group. He says Orton needs to pay attention to whatís in front of him, because this Sunday, itís going to go right through him. Orton says Ambrose needs to stop trying to give life advice, the last he checked, he was the ďlunaticĒ for a reason. Ambrose says at this point, heís pretty sure Ortonís the crazy one. He leaves for his match.

In our main event, we have the WWE Championship on the line as Dean Ambrose defends against AJ Styles. They have a great match, up and down, with a big spot being a pele kick into the lunatic lariat being dodged with a dropkick. Just as Styles is getting Ambrose set up for the Styles Clash, itís an invasion!

Braun Strowman crashes into the ring, clubbing Styles over the back. The match is deemed a disqualification, as Team Raw comes storming the ring. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho come out watching Strowman beat away at Styles. John Cena and Dolph Ziggler run out and make the save, but they still have tension between them and go down to an attack from Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. The Usos come out to help protect Styles, and Ambrose is in the fight as well leading to Team SmackDown Live getting almost everyone out of the ring. Strowman is the only one left, and The Usos nail him with a double superkick before Styles hits a forearm and Dean Ambrose runs and clotheslines him out of the ring to clear the entirety of Team Raw out and stand tall while the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live ends on the tensions amongst the teammates but them still working together successfully.

Re: SmackDown Live; Take A Chance

    TALKING SMACK SNIPPET

With the show just opening up, we hear screaming from off camera. AJ Styles walks into the frame and up to the desk, cutting off Renee and Daniel.

AJ STYLES || I want Braun Strowman.

DANIEL BRYAN || Um Ö okay?

AJ STYLES || I mean really, what the hell was that shit?!

RENEE YOUNG || AJ, calm down.

AJ STYLES || NO! You calm down! I donít have to calm down! Iím pissed!

DANIEL BRYAN || And why are you pissed?

AJ STYLES || Did Ö DID YOU NOT SEE WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! YOU SHOULD BE FURIOUS!

DANIEL BRYAN || Iím not pleased.

AJ STYLES || Not pleased? Thatís it?!

DANIEL BRYAN || What do you want from me?

AJ STYLES || I told you, I WANT BRAUN STROWMAN.

RENEE YOUNG || Why would you want Braun, though?

AJ STYLES || See, that behemoth. That freak. That whatever he is, cost me MY WWE Championship. I had him beat. I was about to win the championship, go to Survivor Series and crush Randy Orton once and for all, and that Festus looking motherf---er..

    DANIEL BRYAN || HEY! HEY!

AJ STYLES || I know, itís a family show.

RENEE YOUNG || So treat it like one!

AJ STYLES || Kids, cover your ears.

DANIEL BRYAN || Thatís not how it works.

AJ STYLES || Daniel, donít test me. I am pissed off. Braun Strowman just cost me the WWE Championship. I deserve that title. I deserve to be in the main event of Survivor Series. I want to go punch his stupid teeth down his stupid throat until it gets rid of his stupid accent.

RENEE YOUNG || Youíre making fun of someoneís accent?

AJ STYLES || Whatís that supposed to mean?

    RENEE YOUNG || NothingÖ

AJ STYLES || There is one thing that I want, Renee. There is one thing that I need, Renee. I came to the WWE with a hope and a dream that I would one day become the WWE Champion. Iím the American Dream, if weíre being honest. If weíre being blunt about it. Iím the embodiment of America.

DANIEL BRYAN || Corrupt, cheating, stealing Ö.

AJ STYLES || I didnít say Iím the embodiment of Chicago. Iím no Punk.

RENEE YOUNG || Whatever you are, AJ, what makes you think you could take down Braun Strowman? Have you seen what heís been doing?

AJ STYLES || Iíve seen it. He beat up a turtle looking guy, good for him. He beat up a couple of out of shape people we collected from the local Y, good for him. You know what he hasnít done? He hasnít faced AJ Styles yet. He hasnít gone face-to-face with AJ Styles yet. Heís attacked me from behind, heís done the cowardly thing. He hasnít had to legitimately beat AJ Styles. So what do you think, Daniel?

DANIEL BRYAN || I think, congratulations. Youíre on the Survivor Series team. You can get Braun there.

AJ STYLES || Fine. Fine! Iíll tell you what, Iíll carry your stupid little team on Sunday. Iíll drag them to victory on my back, considering you just have to collect LOSERS all the time. And when Iím done, I want my WWE Championship.

DANIEL BRYAN || Weíll talk about it then.

AJ STYLES || Oh, we sure will. And if not, Iím sure my boys will have something to say about it too. See you Sunday, Daniel. Braun, start saying your prayers, boy.

AJ walks off cockily while the show continues.

    SURVIVOR SERIES PREDICTIONS
    NOVEMBER 27, 2016

As usual, it is time for the prediction contest for the upcoming pay-per-view. While this is the first that we've seen the effects of a predictions contest on how a show is booked, this also gives us a moment to see how these predictions are going. As usual, prizes are up for grabs as well. I've realized that Survivor Series is one of the shows where you could have a lot of different things to predict, so I went with the ones I felt could be the most entertaining to predict, I also considered a few others such as first eliminated, last eliminated, finishers used and so on. There are a total of 11 points available.

The prizes for this contest -- the winner will choose who will challenge for the Tag Team Championships at The Royal Rumble and will choose any "surprise"/"legend" entrant or entry number for a superstar in the Royal Rumble match.

Good luck to all and thank you for reading.
