    Wenger Steps Down
Arsene Wenger has made a major announcement that he is stepping down as manager of Arsenal football club after 21 years at the Football Club. The 67 year old who won the Premier League 3 times with Arsenal will stay with the club in an ambassadorial role. He had this to say following his departure, "I've loved every minute of being with this football club but it's now time to step aside and let some else deliver the heights this football club deserves." Fans around the world have heralded Wenger as one of the best coaches in world football.

Diego Simeone is currently favourite to replace Arsene Wenger at the helm with Joachim Low and Red Bull Salzberg manager Ralph Hasenhuttl being installed as 2nd and 3rd favourites respectively.

    Transfer Rumour Roundup:
-Man United are looking at spending big this summer after a disapointing first season under Jose Mourinho, many feel it could be his last season if he doesn't perform and targets such as Thomas Muller, Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale have all been touted as United look set to build their own galacticos.

-Meanwhile Arsenal have had there transfer plans put on hold with the departure of Wenger but one thing we do know it Petr Cech is on his way out having received a large offer to finish his playing days in the MLS. If Diego Simeone is appointed Jan Oblak could follow

-Many of the lower placed Premier League sides have received a significant cash increase due to Volkswagen's new sponsorship deal with the Premier League. This means teams such as Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham can easily compete financially with the bigger clubs.

-Finally, Southampton manager Claude Puel has praised Jay Rodriguez as being like a new signing after returning from his loan spell at Burnley whom he joined in January and hitting a rich vein of form scoring 7 goals. Puel is still looking for more striking power however and could look towards his native France with a loan move for PSG misfit Hatem Ben Arfa on the cards.
