    Flock's Top 5 round 12 Christmas Special Extended to a Top 10

Well folks it's that time of the year and I'm getting in the Christmas spirit a little early this year so now I want your at least Top 5 christmas songs or if you want do a Top 10 this time like I will be dong now your list can be any christmas song from any Genre even Comedy(some of you might get grossed out at my number 2 lol) And you can even do the same song on your list with different versions. Here is my top 10

    10-Mistress For Christmas by AC/DC

9-Last Christmas by Taylor Swift now I know I will probably get some flack from some of you but fuck it I'm a fan of her early work those first albums up to Speak Now to me are well made and well crafted albums And I think this version of the Wham song is the best recorded version.

8-Santa Baby by The Dollyrots Another band that most people who know me wouldn't expect me to be a fan of but IMO they are pretty good I actually got turned onto them through a friend of my wife and I's who is a Adult Film Actress who did a cameo for a video of theirs.

7-We Wish You A Metal X Mas by Jeff Scott Soto

6-This Christmas Day by Trans Siberian Orchestra

5-Run Rudolph Run by Lemmy Kilmister,Billy Gibbons and Dave Grohl

4-Music Box Blues by Trans Siberian Orchestra

    3-Run Rudolph Run-Bryan Adams

2-Rudolph The Deep Throat Reindeer by Matt Rogers I know I'm going to hell to this but this song makes me laugh so fucking hard every time I hear it I actually own this album and my wife gets pissed everytime I play something from it lol but I make sure not to play it in front of the kids

And my Number 1 is a tie it's the same song just different versions my number 1 is Please come Home for Christmas both the Eagles version and the Jon Bon Jovi Version.

Well folks those are my 10 favorite Christmas songs hope to see lists from you even if you only have a few picks.

Re: Flock's Top 5 round 12 Christmas Special Extended to a Top 10

I can't be arsed finding the youtube videos, this is more British heavy and I'll leave out the carol's:

    10) Christmas Time (Don't let the Bells End) - The Darkness
While I don't love it, I think this is the only good, original Christmas song that's been released since the Millennium so it gets a place.

    9) Christmas Time in Hell - South Park
'Everybody has a happy glow, lets dance in blood and pretend it's snow, Even Mao Tse Tung is under the spell, it's Christmas time in Hell!'

    8) Step into Christmas - Elton John
Think it's the bass hook, but I really enjoy this upbeat offering from Elton.

    7) Saviour's Day - Cliff Richards
The only appropriate time of year to enjoy Cliff Ricards, prefer this to Mistletoe and Wine.

    6) Mary's Boy Child - BoneyM
Just feels so different to any other Christmas song with the Jamaican accents and steel drums, and spawned some football chants as a bonus.

    5) Driving Home For Christmas - Chris Rea
Gotta pop this on the last drive back from work for Christmas

    4) Rockin' around the Christmas tree - Brenda Lee
I think this comes from Home Alone more than anything, but I love everything about this. Sliding guitars and Sax solo ftw.

    3) Merry Christmas Everyone - Shakin' Stevens
Feels like Christmas from the 1st second in, then kicks in with drums. Love it.

    2) Fairytale of New York - The Pogues
    Standard.

    1) Rage Against The Machine.....nah I'll be serious

    1) Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody.
An absolute Christmas classic from the legendary Black Country Glam Rock band. IIIIIT'SSSSSSS CHRIIIIIIISSSSSSMAAAASSSSSSS

Nothing gets me in the Christmas spirit more than all 11 songs of Justin Bieber's "Under the Mistletoe"

Re: Flock's Top 5 round 12 Christmas Special Extended to a Top 10

    In no particular order:

Fairytale Of New York - The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl
Obvious choice, but don't know many who don't rate this as one of the best.

Driving Home For Christmas - Chris McRea

Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) - The Darkness
Hated this when it originally came out, but it's grown on me considerably over the years

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - Bruce Springsteen

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey
Doesn't quite seem like Christmas until I hear this.

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! - Dean Martin

Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - John & Yoko

Only one I've actually learnt to play. Been a few years though.

    White Christmas - Frank Sinatra

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas - Michael Buble

    Album's great, fuck the haters.

Somewhere Only We Know - Lily Allen
My favourite of the current generation of "Xmas advert covers"

Great lists from everyone so far Springsteen very nearly made my list along with The Southpark song and The Slade song. Never heard the Angel song but liked it lot upon hearing it.
