Oh cool maybe we can go back to having reasonable discussions then.

So Kushner, Manafort, and Trump Jr. are all testifying next week, that might be juicy.

Yeah, I just cant see how anybody comes out of this looking bad. I mean Mana fort is already out of the Trump inner circle so he has nothing to lose. I hope he answered everything honestly

    Lol, retires from a thread?

    He will be back.

And for the most part, we are not bashing Trump in the thread. We are just mainly talking about how he and his administration are doing their job

I'm pessimistic about it. What we need is to have Trump himself testify so they can nail him on perjury. No way he testifies without telling a blatant lie.

Well, Melissa McCarthy might need a new gimmick for SNL:

So Spicer's out and everybody's favorite inflammatory daughter of Mike Huckabee ascends to the position proper.

Gonna be interesting if Trump gets indicted for something — Russia, his business dealings, whatever — and he pardons himself. There's nothing in the Constitution that says he can't do that. lolol

Eh, it's a gray area, at least according to the Washington Post. Depending on how you interpret the Constitution, Trump may be able to do it for certain things, but not all.

One big thing to keep in mind is that pardons won't do shit if he's impeached. And one would sincerely hope that if things get bad enough to where Trump is considering giving himself a pardon, the Republicans would finally nut up and say "yeah, we're done here."

That because you supported Trump in the election you couldn't possibly be someone affected by it.

Or, because you had a negative experience with the affordable act, you don't care as long as other people suffer.

I just love it when some of you people try and throw out numbers without researching. Before I go any further, just throwing it out there, again, that I voted for Johnson.

21 Million going to lose their health care coverage, huh? How many of them only became insured because they were forced to or suffer paying a fine? Did you not remember that Medicade(sp?) was around to assist those in need, long before the Affordable Care Act came around? Hmm?

Why should I, the father of three, be forced to pay more on my insurance every year? Why should I have to pay $10K on a deductible before my insurance pays anything? You see, I pay an ass load for insurance every month, then when I have to take one of my children to the doctor, I have to cover the bill out of pocket. That happens when you are a responsible adult. You get punished.

Why should a single, healthy person be forced to pay for insurance or be fined to cover the cost for someone else? Why is it our responsibility to pay more for an unhealthy person who made the decision to go to McDonalds too many times or shoot stuff into their veins? Why should it be my responsibility to pay for someone else's abortion? Not my child, not my pussy, not my problem. You made the decision to get knocked up, you deal with it.

21 million losing their coverage! Ha! Some of y'all even think the employment rate went down under Obama. News Flash! Just shy of 100 Million able bodied Americans are out of work! Woo hoo! No wonder our debt went up to record highs. *Waits for someone to blame it all on Bush(Fuck him too btw)

Is it a law is the States to have Car insurance? Why should a perfect driver have to have car insurance?

Am pretty sure it is the law, though some do get away without having it. As far as a perfect driver being required to have car insurance - good question. I assume it's just in case they get in a wreck with someone who doesn't and it would be less money out our own pocket (depending on coverage)- you can be a perfect driver but not everybody else is. And if you get a crack in your windsheild, if you have insurance that covers it, depending on the deductible, replacing it doesn't cost much.
That said, you can pay a lot in insurance your whole life and never have to make use of it. In the long run, it would be cheaper if you just payed outright for the repairs.

Now home insurance, where my wife, two kids and I live- you are not required to have it. We don't live in a flood zone. And the deductible is about what it would cost to replace the roof- so since we aren't required to have it, we don't .

You make some reasonable points with costs, but it's pretty cynical to think the people who need health insurance are "people who go too McDonalds and shoot stuff into their veins"

The people being denied health care are cancer patients. For you to single out Type 2 diabetes out of all things is pretty rude to be honest. Especially because a lot of those patients may not have even been unhealthy eaters.

Judging people who need medical care is pretty dark and selfish. Medical care is medical care. I may agree with the whole drug addict thing, but still an illness is an illness. Think about if it was one of your family members and the health care providers were denying coverage.
