He's in TOTW this week as well, he'll see a huge uptick in stats I reckon. Which SBC did you do?

The Rare Gold Upgrade packs. They're mint for getting rid of your shite non-rare golds that you'd sell for 300 coins. Dybala and OTW Embolo are great pulls but I could have sold them and I'd have enough to get Shearer almost. Guess I just need to try and work them into a hybrid together somehow.






Plus a Begovic and Dybala, all from the Rare Gold upgrade. It's pretty neat.

I'd say it is. It plays differently to the last couple of years. The Journey is good and the new career mode looks great too.

So had the choice of either Bale for 3 games or El Shaarawy for 13 and went for El Shaarawy, won my 2nd league with a perfect record 5 wins from 5.

Some of the pace i have in my team is scary, think Bruma is my top on 93.

Definitely. There's something for everyone in this, if you don't like Ultimate Team there's online seasons or Pro Clubs. Plus the Journey, career mode, etc, etc.

So far I'm liking it, I've readjusted my team and tactics since wide players are so good this year (they were useless last year). I love my hybrid team, and Behrami is the best CDM I have used so far. He's a total destroyer. I did have Kirchoff in his place, and he was really good with his tackling and interceptions, but his passing felt so sluggish and slowed down my whole team. Behrami is a lot better in that regard.

My only complaint is Huntelaar is slow as dirt and his link up play isn't the best. I can't think of anyone that I could replace him with. Might try some cheap Bundesliga strikers.

I remember spending too much money on FIFA 14. It was bad, and I got addicted. Think I spent about 200$. Wasn't even worth it. I didn't get FIFA 17 this year because I'm disappointed in no online career mode but I also don't think there's any purpose to spending money on FUT, you can get great players without it. I suppose if you don't want to deal with the grind you might as well though. Highest I got was around 3/2 Division then I usually get bored, tether off, or just suck. A friend of mine is way too good and hits Div 1 titles relatively easily so after that, I also lose motivation.

If FIFA had an online career mode, they'd basically have my money guaranteed every year.

I'm now division 7 and i don't mind the grind, my reasoning was if i got some good players i could sell them for the coins and carry on that way and the fact the Jumbo Packs were out was good.

I'm in Div 7, and have now bought my Prem Team. I've also kept the Saudis for the memories because they were so fucking good. All huge physical monsters with 80+ pace.

Anyways my line up is:

I've found in friendlies with my mates that the 352 on this is amazing if you have nippy wingers. POTM Raheem has 95 pace and Martial has 91 so that's no problem here. Xhaka has High/High workrates which is infallible at DM, and fabregas controls the game.

Really disappointed with Rooney, for the past 5 gens he's been by far my best player because of his shooting from AM, but im really really struggling with long shots this year. Batshuayi also cannot finish for shit so I find myself playing Slimani more and more and saving for Lukaku to play Batshuayi first of the bench for fitness.

I fear saving for Kun or Zlat could kill me long run, I need to pack something good relatively soon to achieve that. KDB is last in the list to replace Roons.

I'm looking to invest some cash. Trying to pick up a OTW Sadio Mane for a reasonable price (100k-ish) because he's bound to get an IF at some point, then sell him on for big bucks. If it fails, then at least I can use him in some sweaty Premier League team.

These squad builder challenges are an amazing way to make money. Bought 20+ Iturbe's at 650-700 and am selling them all for 1200 each.

Also did the Gareth Barry sbc for the lulz. He's actually amazing ... long shots for days.
