Man, what a turn of events. The Jets were leading 20-7 in the first half before the field goal by Carpenter to make it 20-10. Now, it's the Bills that are leading 24-20 with a big pass from Taylor to Salas, following by a fumble recovery for a touchdown to take the lead. What a crazy game this is.

I don't understand why the Titans had to run the ball on their own 2 yard line and giving up a safety. That was a boneheaded move.

The Saints didn't allow an offensive TD and still lost. Because they got a bunch of outies. Fuckin goofs.

I had the pleasure to watch that great game with the Skins/Cowboys earlier today and man if Carson Wentz is "Cool Hand Luke", we need to find Dak a nickname because the Cowboys got a steal with him as QB. He didn't have a TD's, but the guy was so cool under center, and make plays left and right to keep the Skins confused at times. Good win for him to get on the road, and if I had to say one negative for their team is a lack of pass rush. You can't let any QB just stand there and air it out, hopefully those guys that are suspended and injury provide more support moving forward. As for the Giants they win in a close battle with the Saints, should be a great match with the Skins next week in a must win. The night cap tonight Packers/Vikings and Bradford first start as a Viking, hopefully for him he provides a great performance.

    Wow.

Just the only way to describe the Vikings/Packers game. In my opinion, it had to be one of the greatest games the two teams ever played. Vikings start Bradford, who COMMANDS the field and throws for more yards than Rodgers!!! The Vikings defense ATE Rodgers alive. Can we call the Vikings defense the Super Purple People Eaters? I mean, golly, they were everywhere tonight. Poor Newman for getting those silly fouls, but then again, this was a really horseshit foul kinda game. Not only that, the Vikings O-Line is probably worse than it's ever been. Jesus we need to do SOMETHING!!!

So Vikes go 2-0, and Bradford's nasty looking hand injury didn't stop him from going badass mode and throwing hard to Diggs, who I gotta say, is the new Randy Moss. Dude's fucking LOADED with talent. He HAS to go Pro-Bowl and All-Pro this year if he keeps this up.

I'm sure the Vikes and Packers have played many better games. The Purple Favre years had a lot of good ones. Truth was the Packers didn't play very well tonight.

Really hope Bradford was an aberration tonight or that team's gonna be tough to take the division from. Packers need to change something because the offense still looks really off. If this team underperforms again this year, then it's time TT takes the reigns away from McCarthy.

I don't even think that game cracks the top 50 of Vikings/Packers games.

Maybe one of the top ones that the Vikings actually won

Pump the brakes Vikings fans, good win for your team, but let's not forget Adrian Peterson has torn meniscus in his right knee. Now if what I've heard he does surgery he could be out 6-7 weeks. I wouldn't trust his backups to get the job done, Bradford who played very well last night was happy to be on a team to where he didn't need to throw 40 times a game. He might need to throw that now, and if the line can't keep him upright, he won't last the whole season. As for the Packers I'm not shocked he was off with Nelson, he hasn't played with him enough the past few seasons don't worry he'll be on fire with the guy by mid-season. I would be worried about the line because the Vikings defense was giving Rodgers now time on the pocket and the turnovers was no shock to see. Next time these two teams play each other, Packers stunk the Vikings if AP is not healthy by now.

Grim is just psyched because the Vikings had a lot going against them — and Peterson's injury made matters worse. So a win is probably a big surprise for them. The glow will wear off after a while. The Vikings' 2004 playoffs win versus GB will still be talked about more in a decade.

You gentlemen seriously seem to underestimate the talent McKinnon and Asiata actually have. Not worried about Peterson's injury at all, truth be told. He stunk against Tennessee, we won. He stunk against the Packers, we won. Right now, Bradford's doing his job, while McKinnon is MORE than serviceable, if not just as talented as AP if given the proper chance.

The only thing the Vikes have to worry about is getting that O-Line to fucking do something, anything, to stop Defenses from killing Bradford.

Remember, this is the same team who last year barely lost to the Broncos, the Super Bowl champions, with a great majority of the players from last year still present.

McKinnon as talented as one of the best backs of all time? You're a little high on the Kool aid, friend.

The best thing for whoever the RB is is Bradford continuing to play well. He'll keep defenses honest so teams can't gang up on AP or whoever. But I do think part of the reason Bradford thrived last night is the Packers went after the run and got burned. Will be interesting to see how teams defend a more well rounded Vikings offense going forward.

It's Bradford, he'll be out by Week 7 tops.

Doesn't help he's stuck BEHIND AP, guys. No wonder you can't see the natural talent he actually has.

Dude's a workhorse and it's his third year, give him time.

    McKinnon as talented as AP?

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to sell McKinnon short, he's a good, solid running back. As talented as AP though? Really?

Neither Asiata nor McKinnon comes close to Peterson's talented. No running back since 2007 has been as consistent and put up the stats as Peterson did.

Them losing Peterson for weeks' gonna put more burden on the offense.

I also want to say that I am quite happy that the Titans got their first win 16-15. Our offense still isn't efficient enough to put up points. They really need a lot of practice for the next game. I am happy the way our defense played, I hope they still hold up.

Re: 2016 NFL Regular Season Thread - Week 2

Can someone tell me where was Jay Cutler's head at last night? I know he had the hand problem last night, but he seemed not mentally into the game even before leaving the game. I personally think Jay Cutler could be a top flight QB in the league, but sometimes to me he has that I don't give a fuck look to him all the time on the sideline. Almost like he is on a island to himself more than ever. I think he needs to get out of Chicago, it seems Cutler not living to expectations more and more since arriving there is getting to him. As for the Eagles yeah I'm happy they won, but more drops from our WR's Jordan I'm talking to you, and Carson tried to be Vick and took some shots, no..no slide..SLIDE! Well we have a great test in the Steelers this Sunday, against the cagey vet in Big Ben, and their defense is way better than the Browns and Bears should be a good one. I hope Ertz can play this Sunday, we will need him more than ever.
