Morning all,

Now that the Euros is done and dusted, I need to get cracking on this.

First order of business is to once again congratulate our league winners PS and Dmac, and pour one out for our dead homie Zero who now enters Div 1 in search of redemption.

It's gunna be trickier this year seeing as we now cross 3 major timezones, so we may have to start drafting earlier than I would normally like for a season start on August 13.

However, first I have to gauge exactly who's coming back for another tilt this year. Please comment yes or let me know some other way (Facebook/whatsapp/homing pigeon/interdepartmental memo) and I'll stick a yes next to your name.

I'm also kicking out Marshall for inactivity, so we have one spot in Division 1 going free. However if you steal the spot, don't keep up activity I will fucking break your legs and I mean it, so if you're interested please comment and I'll put it to a vote.

Scoring changes this year are as follows:
Keeper GP down to 1
Dual Eligibility kicks in after 10 games not 5.

Also, Order, due to the timezone issues, can I request that you act as the draft intermediary for the Prem and I'll do Division 1. Basically, if people are next up and need to sleep so send a list, Prem goes to you, Div 1 goes to me. Impartial judges and all that.

As soon as I get a full round of yes's I'll do the order. I'm looking to start the draft at some point around the 25th-1st week. I think the 1st may be a bit late, don't forget I have to input over 250 players into squads as well.

Also, just FYI, the leagues have updated on the website if you wanna check out the new signings etc.

North American Derby Hype

I think Euro 2016 isn't a good indication of how well I'll fare. If I finish top 2-3 here, I'll accept shedding the underdog banner.

I personally think the first is more than enough time, didn't we do it in about five days last year?

That was when I was on GMT and not 8 hours ahead of England. Granted we don't have Zero this time, but I wanna do both drafts together anyway so it doesn't really matter. I reckon the Wednesday 27th is fine.

I still think 17 days is way too much, the first draft should be the most important draft but by having it too early you have so many players missing out on the first three weeks of the season.

3 weeks is 8% of the regular season but yeah I see your point.

Meh we took 8 days last year and Div 1 took 10, that was pre China. The 1st is a Monday and the first of the month so that seems like a decent time to do it and a nice cut off date, providing everyone is on the ball.

Last year division one was done with people in the UK, USA & Australia in it.

It would be great if Shock and/or CGS sign up for this.
