    Euro 2016 7-a-side - The Qualification Scramble

    Euro 2016 7-a-side - The Qualification Scramble:

(This won't look so weird once there is actually data to input, its just because the values are all 0 atm)

    Format:

    Scoring Period - 10th June - 23rd June.

12 teams are now in the game, the 4 teams with the least amount of cumulative points after the Group Stages of the Euros will be eliminated, with the remaining 8 progressing to the First Knockout Round.

I will tally all of your players' points after each game, and update the table after each round of group games.

    Claims/Drops:

If you decide to Claim/Drop a player, please PM me which player you would like to drop and which player you would like to claim. The change in your lineup will not come into effect until the beginning of the next round.

Any Claim/Drop submitted during the Qualification Scramble stage must be submitted 2 hours before the first game of the First Knockout Round.

E.G. If I drop Ozil for Rashford during the Group Stages, Rashford will only start scoring points at the beginning of the First Knockout Round.

    Trades:

Trading is, of course, ok. The same rules apply to those that apply to Claims/Drops, once you have agreed a trade with someone, PM me the details of who is being traded.

As with the Claims/Drops, the trade will only come into effect at the beginning of the next round.

Any trade submitted during the Qualification Scramble stage must be submitted 2 hours before the first game of the First Knockout Round.

E.G. If Ed and I trade Ronaldo and Ozil during the Group Stages, they will only start scoring points for their new teams at the beginning of the First Knockout Round.

    Enjoy

Sykotic drops Calhanoglu and claims Nolito. Effective from First Knockout Round providing that he qualifies.

So Calhanoglu is now free for anyone to claim.

As things stand, Crock, Dmac, Order, and Syko wouldn't be progressing to the knockout stages. However, obviously, there is still a lot more football to be played!

I've had a nightmare so far but there's nothing I can do until the next round if I get there. Azpilicueta not playing could cost me massive.

Steady Eddie. I should progress through team selection and some clean sheets against those who only have 4/5 playing, but CR7 turning up would be nice.

If only Zero had listened to his heart and picked Wesley.

These are the scores on the doors, now that every nation has played their 2nd group game.

Dmac is the big climber after a great week. Jon, Order, Crock, and Syko now occupy the bottom 4 places, meaning that if they can't drag themselves clear during the final group matches they will be eliminated from the competition.

Zero defying the odds and flying the flag for North America in 3rd place.

I'm where I should be considering I had no option of German, French, Italian or Spanish first team defenders.

The lack of playing time for my players has killed me.

My ultra defensive tactics are paying off considering Ronaldo can't score. That pen miss keeps me outside the top 3 ffs.

To be fair Syk you did have option of Italian because to my recollection not many of them went with the expectation of them not doing very well.

Only one not taken who's played both games is Barzagli, who I actually thought was taken haha

Hoping Grosicki and Calhanoglu have better final games against worse opposition. Already consigned to Mertens and Janko offering me nothing. Matuidi could go either way.

Still five points off. Need Martial to score or at least play the whole game tonight. An England and Spain clean sheet wouldn't go a miss either.

Martial and Matuidi both drop out, so not looking good lads.

Also in the event of two teams being level on points, the highest individual point scorer will be the tie breaker. For example, if me and Mikk end level on points, then Mikk would qualify through having Payet as his highest scorer.

Payet being dropped is a big problem for Mikk.

Two more clean sheets from my French duo can't be bad.
