    Canada.

I think it aptly sums up our future performance in international football games.

Also, by the way, in the event of extra-time, points will be scored based on the entire 120 minutes.

For example, if a game between England and France is 0-0 after 90 minutes, and France win 1-0 after extra time, then France players will get clean sheet points but England won't.

(This does not apply to penalty shootouts, no points will be awarded for goals or saves in a penalty shootout.)

Looking over the draft so far it's interesting to see only the big five of England, Belgium, France, Germany and Spain getting much thought outside the stand out performers of Ronaldo, Bale, Ivrahimovic and Lewandowski, who are carrying their countries.

There will be surprise performers from the lower nations, as will there be a poor performance from one of the bigger teams(I'm looking at you Italy)

So far my personal preference is for Simmo's picks. Although Ed getting another good pick alongside Ronaldo will tip him to the top.

One particular smaller country's midfield will probably get raided.

Luka Modric. Going for a real mid table finish here.

This is at the risk of Croatia flpping. I think theyve got a tough group with Cech at Czech (lul) and Calhanoglu and Yilmaz at Turkey but they've got a powerful midfield so hoping that carries them forward.

Looking at the round schedules, wouldn't it be better to have the last 16 as the sole first knockout round. My thinking was the final could be dull if there's only one game riding on it(or2 if there's a play-off)

Better to have the final consist of the semi-finals and final don't you think?

    Just a thought.

I'm open to changing. My idea was that you'd have just the one game to decide the winner which might be cool. If the vast majority agree with Syko I am happy to change it!

Please remember to make sure that your drafted players fit into an eligible formation, one of those listed in the first post.

From what I'm seeing Wales is playing with 5 defenders and it's not like they don't have dark horse potential to go deep if Rambo and Bale can find some magic. If there were goals allowed negative points I would have reconsidered. But I'm pretty happy with my pick. Maybe would've held off till the next round if I could go again but eh, I think he'll get me a couple of clean sheets in the first round.

I think Jon had no choice really. Don't think he wanted to overload on Croatia or Austria who he already had and apart from those and Italy the keepers expected to finish top 2 were taken.

Not much between Hennessey, the Romanian keeper(which isn't clear) and Szsecsny

If we had points for saves, Cech would probably be the best choice with that super tough group. Have a feeling he'll have the sort of 15+ saves games we saw in the world cup.
