    Group predictions

    1: Spain
    2: Croatia
    3: Turkey
    4: Czech Republic

Tough group. The defending champions Spain are looking to three-peat. They just recently lost to minnows Georgia. Humiliating defeat for Spain. Predicting a Spain vs Germany or France final.

I'm hoping for a quick exit for Turkey myself because I'm already sick of this name change.

    1. Spain
    2. Turkey
    3. Croatia
    4. Czech

Toughest group in my opinion. The three below Spain all decent sides and it's anyone's guess who qualifies. Croatia have a great midfield but not too strong defensively. Same goes for Turkey whilst I think the Czechs are just that bit below them.

Re: Euro 2016 Group D Discussion Thread

Took Spain long enough to score for their domminace in the match, looked sometimes that it just wasn't going to be their day. Deserved their victory no doubt and fair play to the Czech Republic they defended well but had nothing going forward all game even when they had the ball. few dangerous balls in but nothing for De Gae to sweat about.

Re: Euro 2016 Group D Discussion Thread

Wasn't the high scoring game as expected, surprisingly. A bit gutted for the Czechs for not being able to hold on until the end. Spain proved their class in the end though by finally making the break through.

Pique must have saved quite a few accumulators!

If only Czech held on for a draw. Bit annoyed that Spain got a late winner.
