Went to the Cardiff game, only around 4,000 people.

Macheda continues to show how worthless he is and Ralls and Harris did quite good.

But still, it's nice to see them win a Match after recent results...

Going to be a tough game against Leeds but as long as a strong team is put out which Poyet has said he will then should beat them

Stretching this over 5 days into Tuesday is fucking ridiculous. It's FA Cup 3rd Round weekend, not FA Cup 3rd Round week.

Will be going up this afternoon, feels like a proper cup tie, Premier League Vs Conference and I'm sure the Gateshead boys will put up a good showing so that it doesn't look like there's 4 leagues between us. Pulis said he's going to put a very strong side out, taking the cups seriously has been one of my major gripes about our managers in recent years, so that's a good move in his first game.

The fact that it's stretching until Tuesday is down to the New Years games being on Thursday, all the Premier League teams had the option to move their games from the Saturday.

It's because the teams picked for TV didn't want to play on Saturday.

It's strange that Berahino didn't celebrate none of his four goals. Is it because it's against a Conference side or is he not happy at WBA? Hope Liverpool don't get him.

So much being made of that it's ridiculous. Anichebe didn't celebrate either at all, Brunt and Morrison pretty subdued as well. I think they were trying to show some respect to the opposition by not being over the top in their celebrations. The dude who scored twice for Blyth Spartans didn't celebrate his goals either, and that's probably going to be the best day in his whole career. No-one's giving him any stick.

Lovely finishes from Berahino, that's now 13 goals for the season. The next highest goalscorer for us is Anichebe with 2. I don't know why we're even entertaining the thought of selling him when we're in this relegation battle and he's the only one we can rely on to score. It's too much of a gamble to cash-in this window and hope whoever Pulis brings in can be just as good, it's inevitable he'll leave but let's wait until the summer.

Feeling very confident heading into today against Watford although you never want to be too cocky. Arsenal/Hull could cause an upset result. I'd like to think the prem teams can all win their fixtures but again, you never know with the magic of the FA Cup.

I put a cheeky $5 on Yeovil to knock off United.

Through but again not a convincing performance, seemed to just not bother after we scored and wasted a few good chances, desperate need for a creative midfielder and someone who can score.

Delighted with that win over Yeovil. Had to dig deep to win it as you often do going to these places in the FA Cup. Herrera's goal was a beauty and Di Maria capping it off on his return was nice as well. First step complete, interested to see who we get in the fourth round draw.

Lucky that lad Moore fluffed his lines in the second half or it could have been a disaster for United. We were really poor today, worst I've seen some of our players all season probs.

Glad to see he moved from 5-3-2 after the first half, thought from the start that wasn't the right formation to face a team when the onus should be on you to attack. Frankly I still don't think 5-3-2 works for us full stop.

    Win's a win though.

    And he scores goals...!

    Re: FA Cup Discussion - January 2nd - 6th

We're terrible playing with a 5-3-2, have all season, our Centre-backs simply aren't good enough to play it and considering our midfield is much better, it only makes sense that when we play with more in the middle with the diamond, we play better. Hopefully LVG stops playing it and goes back to a back four with a diamond, it's painful watching any combo of Jones/Evans/NcNair/Blackett/Smalling trying to defend together in a trio.

But yeah, wins a win and that's all that really counts, good to have Di Maria back from injury as well and getting a goal aswell

This really is one of the least interesting games of the 3rd round. I don't care if it was last year's final, it's only got picked because it's an all premier league tie. Poor selection.
