Is this brand new content or is it going to be recycled stuff ala MNW?

From the preview I saw on it, it looked to have a mix of old interviews and new stuff so who knows lol.

Its a feud from the late 90's, of course some of it is going to be recycled.

Not yet, but some featured on the advert last night include Rock vs Cena, Piper vs Hogan & Undertaker vs Kane.

I would like to see some non WWE stuff on there to, Flair/Steamboat, Sting/Vader, Von Erichs/Freebirds and even Raven/Dreamer

Surely Cena/Orton will make the rounds at some point as well. Probably Michaels/Hart as well.

I'd love to see E&C/Hardyz/Dudleys at some point. That'd be really great imo.

Should be a cool show will definitely have to check it out. Austin vs. McMahon will never be beaten.

Actually E&C vs The Hardys was on the advert, also I don't think they will put all the top feuds in the first season, needs some stuff for future seasons.

For the record, WWE did plenty of new interviews for the monday night wars using newer talent, guys like Vince Russo, Justin Credible, etc.

So I just finished the first ep. It was good. Well produced. Nothing earth shattering but I mean, with numerous DVDs and docs and books about it you can only learn so much

That was the problem with starting with this feud(although it was fully understandable) its probably the most documented feud ever(maybe Shawn vs Bret) sotheres not much we haven't heard previously.

I'm looking forward to feuds we haven't heard much about.

    I will watch this tonight.

    Re: Rivalries Discussion Thread

Pretty good episode but they made it look like the feud ended at St Valentines Day Massacre, which it didn't, looks like they will do a second parter starting from Wrestlemania X-Seven.

Good to see plenty of new interview footage.

I don't know if they showed it at the end or if it was main channel only but yeah they said how the feud continued and there's a part 2

They did say the part 2 but they said it was after he comes back from his next surgery, completely missing out Vinces role at Wrestlemania XV, the Higher Power and all that stuff in 1999.

    Re: Rivalries Discussion Thread

I find it weird that every time they cover Austin's neck issue versus Owen and his time off about a year later, they always leave out the storyline reason of why he left because of being hit by Rikishi.

It was actually over 2 years later, and it was not needed in this episode if they do a Triple H vs Austin episode it will probably get mentioned.
