    TNA Slammiversary 2014 Discussion

It's been making the rounds already, but here's the Slammiversary poster, originally revealed on Dixie Carter's Twitter page:

I have to admit, this is a super rare quality TNA poster. It fits the theme of the show and it doesn't feel like it was created in 30 seconds in MS Paint even if it is a simple concept.

I like it too, even if it reminds me of how much EY looks like a midget. Short ass arms

This is a really awesome poster. Even with my disagreements on the timing and ways they went about the EY push and title run, for someone like me who has watched TNA pretty actively since 2004, it actually holds a lot of weight.

But if it didn't have Eric Young, the tag line for the PPV wouldn't work as well as it does.

Right now theirs only been two matches announced but I see either the Wolves vs King/Lashley or even Aries/Roode if he returns to face MVP's cronies. Also probably Storm vs Anderson is some sort of special stipulation, and Angelina Love vs Brittnay if not Gail Kim for the Knockouts title.

If had to say what matches have the chance to be really good, I say that Ladder match is going to be great to see what everyone brings to the table. This is the biggest test of Sanada who suddenly after having so much momentum after winning the X-Division hasn't been on the show like that lately. Obviously Aries vs Kenny King should be great, last time these guys fought one on one, it was one of the best matches on the PPV over a year ago. I also see Angle saying who's the next man going into the HOF, who could that be? Also Joe vs Lashely that's going to be entertaining, when Joe is on a PPV someone is going to die. The show should be a great show, just as long MVP's goonies don't interfere too much to help MVP win the TNA World Title.

    Re: TNA Slammiversary 2014 Discussion

If Jeff was Jeff and Anderson wasn't on, this would actually be a pretty solid enough card from top to bottom.

Anderson needs to do some more feuding with Sam Shaw, who seems to be on his way back maybe he screws over Anderson alongside Gunner.

No. Anderson needs to feud with unemployment, and lose.

With AJ Styles gone and Jeff Jarrett working on creating GFW, who do you possibly induct in the Hall of Fame without it being another disappointment?

I could see them going for James Storm, a guy who's been there since day 1 and pretty much done it all. After Sting and Angle, it would make sense to get someone in their 'HOF' who was around in 2002. Tenay's a decent shout, but they like to turn these things into angles so I see it being a wrestler.

Is Crazzy Steve even any good? I haven't watched Impact in weeks but looking at the card, Lashley/Joe could be solid. The ladder match as well and maybe Bully/EC3. But that's about it.

Wait a minute, aren't The Wolves the tag team champions? What are they doing in a random X-Division spotfest?

Ah, TNA. Only you can take a stupid ripoff angle that makes no sense, comes from left field, and is generally panned by everybody and even FAIL at executing that.

How much longer is Sanada suppose to be in TNA for ?

If he sticking around for awhile, one would think he would retain the X title, but if he is at or near the end of his time in TNA
I would put the belt on Crazy Steve
Richards & Edwards are already tag champs
If Sanada is leaving, Tigre Uno would probably leaving sooner than later also
Manik hasn't been seen in a while

    Re: TNA Slammiversary 2014 Discussion

Well, they've announced the new main event...

This Sunday, Samoa Joe is scheduled to face Bobby Lashley and Austin Aries is scheduled to challenge Kenny King. We can now report that the winners of each of those bouts will then be added to Sunday's Main Event against TNA World Champion Eric Young – creating a Three Way Steel Cage Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Title.
I have to assume King and Lashley somehow get in so MVP can have the odds stacked against Young.

Of course a Joe/Aries/Young match would be much better.
