Honestly, just go through the descriptions of the shows and check out the ones that list a star vs star. Judge the quality for yourself. While there are a ton of squashes, there's plenty of star matches too.

A mixture of the two. He played it up a lot and kayfabed it up some but he is known to be on often.

Re: WWE Network General Discussion Thread

Real hot take here, but man Piper was such a good promo.

I've had the Mid Atlantic shows in the background and he pops up frequently. A lot of the shows are enhancement/faction flunkies losing to top guys, but that's okay. It is what it is.

Re: WWE Network General Discussion Thread

On the subject of Piper has anyone ever had such a range between promo quality? Like, he could legitimately have claim to some of the best and worst promos ever.

Only guys I can think of off the top of my head are Cena and Jake Roberts.

I think it's less of Piper having good and bad promos and more of Piper being given a time limit vs Piper having control over how long he talks for. His "Bad" promos are just Piper rambling on and on instead of the company being more restrictive over his control. Piper could be a really weird dude at times, it's not good for anyone when Piper was able to be at his most Piper.

Caught all the moments the other day, some great ones in there I would never even think about.
    [07:31 PM] Stonewall Dakson
: I have a good friend that lives near Seattle. He says I should come visit sometime but that is like the exact opposite side of the country from me.
    [07:31 PM] Jon Snow
: theyve got planes for that
    [07:31 PM] Stonewall Dakson
: And those cost lots of money
    [07:32 PM] Jim
: send yourself in a box without any holes with the USPS. Best case scenario, you get cheap traveling, worst case, you're gone forever
    [10:00 PM] Kairi HoHo
: Jerk it in my honor Dak bye.
    [06:18 PM]Stonewall Dakson
: Guys, I am going to see President Trump tomorrow.
    [06:19 PM]Stonewall Dakson
: He's holding a rally in the town I live in. Gonna skip outta work and go.
    [06:19 PM]Stonewall Dakson
: Not the town I live in, the town I work in.
    [06:19 PM]RecyCocks
: You should bring TGR with you
    [06:20 PM]Stonewall Dakson
: If I was taking a long walk off a short pier I would gladly bring TGR with me.
    [11:40 PM]
    Kairi HoHo
: Pretty sure I said I would go gay for Ryan Gosling just saying lol.

Coliseum Home Videos to be added, that's rad. I watched a lot of those growing up, especially Austin 3:16 Uncensored and the DX one.

Re: WWE Network General Discussion Thread

I'd be curious to see which ones they pick. Obviously, it won't be the PPVs. Nearly all of the good Coliseum Home Video matches have been added to DVDs over time, but not all of those singles matches have been added to the WWE Network, so this could be a good chance to do that. The best ones tended to be around the start of the 90s since they featured full matches, unlike the start of the Coliseum Home Videos in 1985 and the Coliseum Home Videos that came late before the end of the company in 1997 stopped featuring matches that were remarkable in any way, shape, or form. Considering I've complained about the lack of Free for Alls on the WWE Network, adding the Free for All Coliseum Home Video would be something I'd like. The timing of this is pretty nice as I've been considering watching/reviewing some of the non-themed Coliseum Home Videos.

Ideally, it'd be nice if they could focus on the Coliseum Home Videos that featured non-PPV title switches so ones like The Natural Disasters' WWE Tag Titles win are more readily available to watch.

If I'd have to guess, I'm willing to bet most of the releases will be superstar profile based Coliseum Home Videos like the best of Razor Ramon or Diesel.

Im hoping for SuperTape 2 and Macho Madness. We need Dibiase vs Savage from Wrestlefest 88.

I have a feeling that match is going on the new Savage unreleased set coming out in May 2018.

Theres plenty of matches that arent on dvd yet from Coliseum Home Video.

Hopefully Rockers vs Rougeaus from Paris in 89!!!

Id also like Bret, Savio and Razor vs Yokozuna, Owen and Hakushi from Terminators 1996

This is by far....by far the greatest thing added to the Network.

Some of us old guys still remember going to our local video stores and renting these or better yet buying them used from the video store when no one was renting them anymore.

I actually was contemplating canceling my cable ( i have to cancel cable because its a waste of money and we need to save cash. Unfortunately in Canada, you need a cable subsription to have wwenetwork)

Im gonna have to push back until March.

Match listings can be found here

Sorry if thats against the rules but listing helps everyone interested

Re: WWE Network General Discussion Thread

Wow, they made me look like a fool by predicting most of the releases will be superstar specific ones.

Well, we're not getting Wrestlefest '88, which is disappointing, but we are getting the event based show of Battle at The Royal Albert Hall. I am a bit surprise by the inclusion of Supertape '92 since most of that tape is just This Tuesday in Texas.

Apparently, the ones with asterisks next to them are “presented in their most complete form possible”, which confuses me as I can't imagine how they can't have the full tapes.

Really looking forward to Monday though.

Apparently the majority are missing a minute or so at most, so it likely comes down to some kind of local ads or a song cut.

This looks great, but I want to see more already I think there's about two more drops worth if you don't count Rumble/Mania/etc and keep it around the same number (38)?

This looks great, but I want to see more already I think there's about two more drops worth if you don't count Rumble/Mania/etc and keep it around the same number (38)?

So that's easily two more big bumps of ~38. However, those are only the main Coliseum Home Videos. There's also shorter tapes, which the WWE Network seems to be uploading as well since a tape like Funniest Moments, one of the shorter special CHV, is being uploaded on Feb 5th. With those other Coliseum Home Videos, you're potentially looking at a third dump of ~38 uploads. However, that's certainly dependent on what the WWE Network is willing to upload. For example, just in these remaining 85 main tapes, six are dedicated to Hulk Hogan, which are unlikely to be uploaded.

I am a little surprised that the WWE Network isn't uploading any of the Best of the WWF tapes. I'm pretty sure all twenty were on WWE 24/7, so they're all digitized.

Having a closer look at the list of tapes being uploaded, Battle Royal at Albert Hall isn't the only full show being uploaded. The other full shows are UK Rampage 1993 and Euro Rampage '92 (I'm not sure if this is UK Rampage 1992 or the other show from Germany), which is pretty cool.
