This is where I'm going to get mad with Puro not getting enough love.

WrestleKingdom 7 was the greatest show I've seen in years, and had 4 excellent matches in Low Ki/Devitt/Ibushi, Suzuki/Nagata, Nakamura/Sakuraba and Tanahashi/Okada, plus a decent undercard.

Summerslam had 2 excellent matches, and a good World title match. It also had Bray Wyatt's inferno match with Kane sooooooooo

    WK7

I'll give you Summerslam not having a good opener, which is a crucial requirement for an amazing show, but everything else on the show was solid at the very least.

I haven't seen WK7 in its entirety. Though what I've seen from it = amazing.

Summerslam was rock solid with two or three standout matches.

I don't watch much puro, but from what I saw of WrestleKingdom 7 it looked pretty damn good, so there is that.

Seeing as I've only watched TNA PPVS in full this year, I will more than likely not vote on this due to the poor output. Genesis wasn't offensive and I thought Lockdown (especially the ending) was excellent but Slammiversary and BFG fell flat for me.

While I haven't watched a lot of PPV this year (ok, 3 shows...) I thought Elimination Chamber was pretty darn good and one of the better PPV's from the last couple of years.

And this is where I think people overate the fuck out of modern puro for a number of reasons. The juniors triple threat was a solid spotfest but nothing great, Nagata vs Suzuki have had better matches together, Okada vs Tanahashi was arguably their worst match, and the rest of the outside Nak vs Saku was mediocre at best.

Summerslam only had one outright stinker, and had 3 really good-to-epic level matches that delivered. Ignoring the finish, I think it wins pretty safely.

I don't watch merely any puro or indy stuff like I should. SummerSlam though was pretty great. I enjoyed both Payback and Money in the Bank leading into it as well, but SummerSlam has to get the vote here.

G1 Climax Night 4. The best two matches are head and shoulders above anything on SummerSlam or WK, and I thought Ishii/Shibata wasn't 5 stars or "one of the greatest matches of all time" or even either man's best match this year, but for a spectacle brawl, along with Nakamura/Ibushi and every match besides Yujiro/Yano & Devitt/Tanahashi being at least good, Night 4 of the G1 Climax wins for me over the other 2 shows.

Would PWG shows count as PPV's?
