Welp. Another year, another lack of a decent cup run.

Let's just hope this isn't a repeat of The Opening Day Massacre

This could be the competition which helps Moyes massively at United. The fans will be happy with any trophy as long as we get Champions League qualification. Some pretty interesting matches in the tournament. Will be interesting to see certain team selections.

Funny coming from a West Brom fan.

Have West Brom even won anything worthwhile since you were born?

Might not mean a lot to glory supporters like yourself, but this title meant a lot to me in 2008. Probably meant a lot to Crock back in 2002.

And it's still a trophy, which is 1 more than Arsenal have in the last 8 years.

By your standards, probably not, but then again I didn't just to support Man Utd or Chelsea when I was born. I wanted to support a team I could actually go watch live.

FYI West Brom are in the greatest position they've ever been since I've been born, we keep moving forward, can't really say that about the Arsenal.

Would you like me to post the date? because it's not May. Wolves were top of the table 2 years ago, and then they were relegated. Still don't blame you for gloating when the title race is that tight, can't see you winning it with that squad.

Albion had their highest finish in over 30 years last season, that's why I say we've moved forward, because of how we do season by season. Not game by game.

Re: Capital One Fourth Round Discussion

God you support a team with a big global following, who play in one of the biggest stadiums in the country, make more on ticket sales than any team in the country, have the second most expensive player in the country and are expected to win stuff and have fallen way under expectations for the last eight years, no disrespect to Ed but he supports West Brom and in the last few years they have gone over expectations.

And yes winning what at the time was division one was a great achievement with City, in fact us beating Gillingham on penalties in the division two play off final in 1999 is my second best day as a City supporter who is in his 25 th year as a season ticket holder.

Maybe it's because I watched City in the lower divisions or maybe it's because the reason I support City isn't because they were one of the countries top clubs but I find it disrespectful when somebody makes comments like that to a supporter of a team on the level of West Brom.

Re: Capital One Fourth Round Discussion

I think the thing is, since 2005, Arsenal have had a much better squad, better funding, better manager etc... than West Brom (show by their consistent final places in the Premiership) and they still have won the same amount of trophies as WBA - 0.

And I also agree with the fact that WBA are actually going places, you can see how well they're developing as a team over the past few seasons, whereas Arsenal are constantly finishing about 3rd or 4th, getting knocked out in the cups and Champions League. Sure, Arsenal are top right now, but give it a few months and see what happens because it's too early to be using this season as evidence yet.
