CWA Insider News: Under Siege Pay-Per-View

    Source: CWA Insider

    CWA Pure Wrestling Championship
After the recent Adrenaline Rush went off the air, the CWA official twitter account announced that Krash will be receiving his rematch for the Pure Wrestling Championship against Nate Savage at the Under Siege pay-per-view. Krash lost the championship to Savage on Adrenaline Rush after a chaotic finish involving The Elite.

Unexpected Return and A Swift Departure
On the recent Adrenaline Rush, Shawn Summers returned to in-ring competition after it was revealed that he was the opponent selected by Lilith to compete against Brayden Bridges. Bridges managed to defeat Summers in a match that many have called "more of a street fight than a death match". After the match, CWA cameras caught up with Summers who informed them that after completing that match, he has "officially completed his contractual obligation to CWA and is now a free agent". Requests for a comment on the matter from CWA General Manager Dash Carlisle were not returned.
    Brayden VS Lilith II
Backstage sources have said that management is pushing Dash Carlisle to give Brayden a rematch against Lilith at the upcoming Under Siege pay-per-view, but Carlisle doesn't feel as though Brayden wants or deserves the opportunity. It's worth noting that Brayden broke the undefeated streak of Lilith and Lilith has a victory over him. If a second match between the two is decided, it would be considered the rubber match of the feud.

    Diamonds Are Forever?
The Diamond Dogs unexpectedly returned on the recent episode of Adrenaline Rush and immediately sunk their fangs into their former rivals, The Echo. While the return of the Diamond Dogs was seen as a much-needed breath of fresh air for the tag-team division, backstage sources say that a contract has not yet been offered to the Diamond Dogs and they are working on a per-appearance agreement.

Re: CWA Insider News: Under Siege Pay-Per-View

I've only just got around to reading this, but I absolutely love the idea of Monthly/Bi-Monthly PPV Insider News. A combination of a recap newsletter and a teaser of potential things to come, tying up any loose ends, in addition to making CWA feel so much more... authentic? Is that the right word? Bah.

Point is, great idea. Love it.

    Brayden's Last Stand
After backstage reports revealed that management was pushing for Brayden Bridges to challenge Lilith for the World Championship once again, Dash Carlisle finally gave in to the demands. However, Dash still does not feel like Brayden deserves the title match, especially after attacking Lilith with his guitar and running afterwards. That's why Dash has placed Brayden in matches against members of The Dark Watch effectively making him EARN his shot against The Dark Queen.

    God King or Employee?
After his matchup on the previous Adrenaline Rush, Shawn Summers announced that he had completed his contracted duties with CWA and was officailly leaving the company for a second time. While a comment from Dash Carlisle couldn't be obtained at the time of the original articles posting, a comment was eventually released. The comment reads as follows
While Shawn Summers did complete the total number of Adrenaline Rush contracted dates on his contract, he has not completed the total number of pay-per-view dates left on his contract. His match at Under Seige will fully complete the duties and dates on his contract and then Mr. Summers will be contractually finsihed with CWA.

    Oh, The Humanity!
According to his official twitter account, Humanity has resigned with CWA and is expected to make his return at the Under Seige pay-per-view in some sort of way. The deal to sign back Humanity to the brand is a big one, seeing as how CWA managment has been cleaning house with many loser leaves the company matches.

    A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing!
Backstage sources have indicated that many on the roster are not happy with the recent booking decisions of CWA's General Manager, Dash Carlisle. Many members of the roster were upset with the firing of Rolando Fuentes and Jonathan McGinnis, two well respected members of the roster. It has been reported that Krash was particurarly upset with the situation and personally questioned Dash about it, but he received no answers.

Backstage sources have indicated that many members of the CWA roster and backstage crew do not trust Carlisle and frequently refere to him as "sneaky".

While Carlisle may have his supporters in CWA management, he may have made an enemy out of one. Because of his decision to put Brayden through multiple matches and then having him challenge for the title, a CWA insider source says that Dash has drawn the ire of a member of the board that apparently is very influential within the company AND the industry.
