    El Oso's GFX

Hi there ! I want to show some stuff I made with Photoshop. Like I said in my introduction thread I'm far from being extremely good, but I think sometimes I get something right. Maybe somebody even like some of my work. Feedback is always welcome and Requests also, if anyone wants a GFX for his signature or so made by me.

I think I like the Paul Birchall one most of all, digging the gritty Union Jack background.

The main problem that I notice with these is that you have gone way overboard on the colouring. The Big Show, Cena, Angle, Kaitlyn ones would look far better with just a little bit of colouring not covering everything. Don't add the gradient map on 100% Normal, put it on about 20% or just meddle around with different adjustments to get your liking.

My favourite by far is the CM Punk one. There's some real potential here, just keep working on it and you will improve.

I like your work for the most part. The only thing I would say is that maybe try and use less filter/color type stuff.

You get bonus points for the Kaitlyn one, I dig the hell out of that one. Splendid work overall man.

    Re: TREX' GFX

Wow these are very impressive. I really dig the coloring unlike other posters have said. I just find the John Cena and Big Show one a little funky. Like Ed, I think the Paul Burchill may be the best one, but the CM Punk and Finlay ones are very, very, impressive too. If I had to rank those, it would go like this:

    1 - Paul Burchill
    2 - CM Punk
    3 - Finlay
    4 - Kaitlyn
    5 - Kurt Angle
    6 - Kelly Kelly
    7 - Big Show
    8 - John Cena

Without Show and Cena looking funky, I imagine Kelly's would be last place for me though. I'd like to see what you can do with her with the size of the others instead of a poster type of form. Good job there Trex, really dig it. Looking forward to more.

Yeah that and the CM Punk one really stand out to me. I'd say that the Kaitlyn and Kelly Kelly ones were great, but I'm afraid that I'm rating them more on the pictures of the ladies used, rather than any effort put in working on the graphics themselves.

I can't help but think of DX with the Finlay one, but I think they are all pretty good. I agree about the colour filters though. Sometimes less is more. Obviously not knowing how to do this type of thing myself I can only comment from the perspective of a person with eyes who is looking at the images from an aesthetic point of view, rather than from how much skill may have been involved in making them in the first place.

    Re: TREX' GFX

I actually don't mind his color filters. Besides Cena's and Show's, they all really fit the whole scheme of things. It might be better for just take a dab off the color filter, but I really don't mind it. I used to make graphics when I had GIMP, but they were really nothing fancy at all. I might re-download GIMP just to make another attempt since some of you guys are impressing me.

    Re: TREX' GFX

First of all let me thank you all. Simply the amount of feedback in that short time after I opened this thread makes me totally happy. That's not everywhere the case. Of course I'm always so damn happy when my work does get some positive responses.
I know many people who don't really like the style with the heavy coloring, but damn, I love it. ^^ Back in 2006, when I started with Fantasy Wrestling and working with Photoshop, I learned it this way and even if the time has changed, I can't hold it back when I feel like doing a new GFX in this style. But on the other hand you guys can see I've start to change a bit and make more GFX without the heavy coloring. (The CM Punk one and the Burchill one are far newer than the Big Show or Cena one for example)

@Project Austerio: About the format of the Kelly² pic... That was a size for an avatar on another forum. I really digged the size on that board and that was my avatar for the most time. I had another one of Sheamus in this format, but that's sadly gone.

And I found some other old work of mine. So there is also heavy coloring involved, but when I make something new, I think it will be something different. Besides that, these aren't really that complex, so don't expect to much from this load.

Well the Jennifer Blake one was a just an outcome of a bit playing around. Man, I would love to find my old Eddie Guerrero sig. That thing I made one and a half year after his death was my first really good work (imo).

I love that Jennifer Blake one. I have no idea who she is, but it's really cool looking.

I'd love to see the Eddie sig if you find it. He's my favourite wrestler of all time, so the more online Eddie love the better in my opinion.

Those are some really good entries. I'm not sure if it's better than your first entry, but that is very awesome.

Thank you RaiZ-R and Austerio !

Well I have only one new sig for now, but I think in the near future there will be more new stuff from me.

    Re: TREX' GFX

Something new. After I finally saw RAW from last week I've tried to make something for the SOTW challenge this week. I'm glad how it turned out (well, the font is a bit meh), but I think it wouldn't be good enough or special enough for the competition. Therefore I show it here...

Here I have two recent works. The Anderson one was for a signature, the other one simply arose out of boredom. :D

I don't really dig the Graves/Punk concept, but the sig itself looks great. I love the style/editing.

The Anderson sig is really good, I just think you may have used one too many renders in such a small space? Or maybe have had a different looking shot of him.

Ya, one Anderson less would've been maybe better. Thanks for the feedback.

@Ronin Wolfgang: And thanks to you, too.

Nothing special, but here's something new:
