Words can't describe how much I'm looking forward to going to the Wolves League 1 relegation party on Saturday. Wigan have to beat us or they are down imo

Meh at Tuesday night, easy 3-0 for City.

How heartbreaking would it be if Andy Carroll scored against Toon this weekend, Newcastle fans haven't had such a strong connection to a player since Shearer.

Such a strong connection in fact that Nash asked earlier if Carroll is even allowed to play for WHU this weekend.

    And he scores goals...!

Re: Premier League Discussion May 4th-8th

This is one of the only times I've ever seen us odds against at home in the league. I know Chelsea have a lot more to play for but I reckon backing United at 5/4 is a decent bet this weekend.

Need some big favours from Swansea and Stoke tomorrow and Tuesday.

I'm resigned to us going down. We're the worst team in the league at the moment outside of QPR and Reading.

In other news, Bale is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

Arsenal scoring an early goal instead of conceding one and then having to fight back? WTF is this?

Re: Premier League Discussion May 4th-8th

Oh crumbs, we've really dropped Newcastle in it now, sorry Nash and Shock xxx

I thought we were the better team, but they've got this never say die attitude at the moment, and this isn't the first time a team has beaten us recently just by having more desire to win than we do. Duff striker Rosenberg played really well today on a rare start, but Clarke took him off at 2-2 which was stupid. 16 year old Izzy Brown made his debut with minutes to spare. Just annoying there's no silver lining to this result what with Aston Villa winning again, fair play to them they deserve to stay up.

Fucking hell, what an incredible end to the season we have at the bottom of the table if Wigan beat Swansea, it's crazy, Fulham on 40 points aren't safe still!

    Also:

At least we all had a good laugh at the Wolves!!

If we go down we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We've been so so bad in the past few weeks. Teams like Wigan, Villa and Sunderland are really shit, but at least they look like they want to pick up points.

Won't be surprised when we lose to QPR next week.

I thought we controlled the game but never looked like scoring at all.

Also, what the hell has happened to our defence? We've gone from being absolutely formidable to looking like conceding with every break. At least Tiote played well for the first time in ages, but Cisse's offsides have gone from a bit of a joke to downright embarrassing

I didn't see the game so I have no idea if Tiote was good or not, but him and Jonas have probably been our worst players this year, definitely in the second half of the year.

I think Anita must have fucked Pardew's daughter or something. He's decent as a DM (just not as a fullback).

I watched it, I enjoyed the result and just one more win on Wednesday to secure champions league football for next season
