    Raw RAW – 18th October 2010 – Calgary, Alberta, Canada

    RAW – 18th October 2010 – Calgary, Alberta, Canada

    Security Alert

    We start tonight’s show with a video package highlighting what happened at the end of last week’s show when Jack Swagger delivered a low blow and then a Gutwrench powerbomb to his Cyber Sunday challenger, Triple H in their contract signing for the WWE Championship contest in Minneapolis this Sunday. The final image is Swagger standing over the fallen Triple H holding his WWE Championship aloft.

    We then cut to the RAW opening video featuring all of the WWE Superstars before we go into the arena in and pyro shoots from the stage with the trademark RAW music. The camera finally lands on Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler at ringside.

    Cole:
    We welcome you to Monday Night RAW everyone and we are just six days away from Cyber Sunday and what a night it is going to be here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with everyone looking to gain momentum before the most interactive pay per view of the year. Our main event is going to be huge King as the WWE Champion, Jack Swagger goes one-on-one with none other than The Viper, Randy Orton.
    King:
    It is going to be a collision Michael and you have to believe RAW Co-General Manager, Vickie Guerrero will be close by her client Swagger ensuring nothing untoward happens to him just days before his WWE Championship defence against Triple H. If I was Swagger I would be watching over my shoulder tonight after his actions on last week’s edition of Monday Night RAW.
    Cole:
    Without doubt. Swagger attacking Triple H last week and putting him through a table with the Gutwrench Powerbomb may not have been the best decision he could have made for his future as WWE Champion or as a member of the RAW roster. And speaking of Triple H, listen to this place. Here comes The Game!!!

    The number one contender for the WWE Championship storms out onto the entrance ramp with his trademark music playing. Triple H is dressed in jeans with his merchandise t-shirt and a leather jacket over the top on as the crowd cheer loudly for the future Hall of Famer. Triple H looks all business today and there is none of the usual taunting when he gets to the ring or spitting water into the crowd. Triple H has a microphone in hand as the crowd continue to cheer for him.

    The Game – Triple H:
    Jack Swagger, I’m not waiting until Cyber Sunday. Get your ass out here right now!

    The crowd erupt as Triple H has not wasted any time in making it clear what he wants from his time in the ring at the start of RAW after what happened on last week’s show. The crowd start chanting his name but there is no answer from the WWE Champion.

    The Game – Triple H:
    Alright, if you’re not going to come out here and face me like a man I’m going to come back there and if it’s the last thing I do I’m going to teach you a lesson in respect you son of a bitch.

    The crowd pop huge for the intense Triple H as he is determined to get his hands on Swagger. The Game leaves the ring and begins to walk up the ramp when we here a piercing shrill voice which can mean only one thing.

    RAW Co-General Manager – Vickie Guerrero:
    EXCUSE ME!!!

    The crowd give Vickie Guerrero monstrous heat. She wasn’t seen last week after being decked with a Chick Kick by her counterpart Trish Stratus two weeks ago on RAW and she has security all around her. Vickie looks like she is on a mission to reassert her control over the number one contender for the WWE Championship.

    RAW Co-General Manager – Vickie Guerrero:
    Just who in the hell do you think you are? I’m Vickie Guerrero, the Co-General Manager of RAW and I will not have the WWE Champion targeted by a lunatic who thinks he is running the place. I said EXCUSE ME!

    The crowd boo Vickie horrendously yet again as Triple H still looks intense as ever at the bottom of the stage. Vickie eventually continues her train of thought.

    RAW Co-General Manager – Vickie Guerrero:
    Now tonight Jack Swagger, the most dominant WWE Champion RAW has witnessed in years takes on none other than The Viper, Randy Orton in the main event and that match will take place. Triple H you will not get involved and that is why I have these lovely gentlemen out here with me. Triple H you have the night off and it is up to you. You can leave voluntarily or security will escort you out of the building. What’s it going to be?

    Security now walk down the stage towards Triple H and it is clear how this scene is going to end. Triple H actually offers to leave peacefully but then a member of the security put their hands on the number one contender for the WWE Championship and all hell breaks loose! The Game throws right hands at all of the security guards. He throws the first two either side of him into the barricade wall before nearly breaking the jaw of another one with a humungous clothesline. There are still three more but he kicks one in the gut, clotheslines another and back body drops the last one onto the entrance ramp! Vickie Guerrero realises her plan is backfiring and is frantically waving her arms for backup to come and stop Triple H.

    And here comes the rest of the RAW roster!! The likes of Carlito, Chris Masters, Tyler Reks, Vance Archer, Yoshi Tatsu, Zack Ryder, Scotty 2 Hotty, Chavo Guerrero, Santino Marella, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin all come out and stop Triple H in his tracks. The sheer numbers are enough to end the onslaught of the Cerebral Assassin as Vickie Guerrero’s concern turns into a big smile. The superstars of RAW hold Triple H back as none other than the WWE Champion, Jack Swagger steps out onto the stage. The crowd boo loudly, giving the man from Oklahoma huge heat as Triple H can do nothing to get his hands on his rival. Triple H is dragged past Swagger and Vickie through the curtain as the crowd continue to boo loudly and the All American American raises the WWE Championship high above his head as RAW goes to its first commercial break of the evening.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cole:
    Welcome back to RAW everyone and what a start to the show which has seen none other than the number one contender for the WWE Championship, Triple H kicked out of the building by RAW Co-General Manager, Vickie Guerrero. And The Game has been warned to not get involved in the main event between WWE Champion, Jack Swagger and Randy Orton tonight or face the consequences.
    King:
    And Hunter would be a wise man to listen to the warnings Vickie is handing out as she seems to be on the warpath tonight and who can blame her? Two weeks ago she was nearly decapitated by a Chick Kick by fellow RAW Co-GM, Trish Stratus. Man I cannot wait for Swagger and Triple H to beat the living daylights out of each other at Cyber Sunday this week. Minneapolis is going to be rocking Cole.
    Cole:
    It certainly is but we have barely begun here tonight and it is now time to get some in-ring action started on Monday Night RAW. Oh! That explosion can mean only one man. Here comes the Big Red Machine, Kane!
    Fire explodes from the stage and here comes Kane. The Big Red Machine walks with a purpose to the ring and looks intense as ever just days before Cyber Sunday. The monster stands in the ring and adjusts his glove as he awaits his opponent who has been on a roll as of late. None other than Kofi Kingston enters in his usual cheerful way and he is confident of success against Kane it seems. Kofi has beaten the WWE Champion, Jack Swagger and Mr Money in the Bank, Chris Jericho in recent weeks. Kingston steps in the ring with Kane opposite him and we are underway.
    SINGLES MATCH
    Kane vs. Kofi Kingston
    Kofi immediately goes on the front foot and tries to take the big man down to the canvas with kicks to the knees, a big dropkick and a number of chops. Kane proves to be too big though and in the end it is Kingston who is on the receiving end of a MASSIVE BOOT to the face which completely puts the Big Red Machine in control just days before his match with the Big Show at Cyber Sunday. Kane tosses Kofi around the ring like a ragdoll showing his strength and power almost trying to prove a point to the World’s Largest Athlete by completely annihilating his opponent. Kingston tries to throw punches and kicks when he can but Kane just has too much power for him to deal with. Kofi jumps at Kane but he is caught and dropped to the canvas once again with a big SIDEWALK SLAM. Kane hooks the leg; 1… 2… Kofi Kingston kicks out and keeps the match alive. Kane just smirks that Kingston hasn’t given up and clearly has more destruction on his mind.
    Kane picks up Kofi and powerfully Irish whips the man from Ghana, West Africa into the turnbuckle. He runs after his opponent and clotheslines him hard in the corner before repeating the feat in the opposite corner. Kane now takes a look at his opponent and continues his punishment with a number of punches and a massive uppercut which jacks the jaw of Kingston. Kane then grabs Kofi and delivers a perfect SUPLEX again showing off his superior power against the former WWE Tag Team, United States and Intercontinental Champion. But Kane suddenly gives Kingston an opening when he starts berating the referee after he is told to stop punching his opponent repeatedly when he is defenceless on the canvas. Kofi slowly gets to his feet and starts connecting with some big kicks. He goes for a big roundhouse kick but Kane catches the foot and this doesn’t look good for Kingston. But suddenly he knocks the Big Red Machine loopy with a huge ENZUIGIRI!
    This is Kofi’s moment to start building some momentum and he doesn’t make any mistake in doing so. Kofi sits on the turnbuckle with Kane right next to him, leaps and delivers a tremendous TORNADO DDT which takes the big man down. Kofi goes for the quick cover; 1… 2… Kane easily kicks out but Kingston doesn’t waste any time and is quick like a cat in climbing to the top rope. Kane groggily gets to his feet and Kofi leaps taking the monster back down with a huge CROSSBODY! 1… 2… Again Kane kicks out much to the frustration of the spring-loaded superstar. Kofi stomps away at the much bigger man to ensure he stays on the canvas before he runs off the ropes, pauses and does his usual taunt, hitting the BOOM DROP!! Kingston is rolling as he now feels that he could be close to putting away another huge Monday Night RAW superstar. Kofi waits in the corner and does his usual taunt waiting for Kane to get to his feet. He eventually does as Kingston goes for TROUBLE IN PARADISE!!! But Kane has it well scouted, sidesteps and as Kofi turns around he is taken out with another BIG BOOT!
    Kofi’s head is nearly taken off his body with the impact and Kane now turns from his evil smile to a sadistic smirk which can mean things are not going to end well for Kingston. Kane looks at his limp body on the mat and grabs him by the throat. Then in one fluid movement, the Big Red Machine lifts Kofi Kingston up high in the air and brings him back down to the canvas with a huge CHOKESLAM!!! Kane again smirks sadistically as he opts against pinning his opponent. The crowd boo loudly as Kingston lays motionless with the referee checking on him. But Kane isn’t done as he gets Kingston to his feet once again and grabs him by the throat. Kane plants Kofi Kingston with a massive second CHOKESLAM!!! Kane now hooks the leg and this one is academic. 1… 2… 3!
    Spoiler:
    Winner: Kane
    Cole:
    Kane picks up a big win as he gets set to take on the Big Show this Sunday at Cyber Sunday and what a victory that was. He delivered a massive TWO Chokeslams to Kofi Kingston and ended his good winning streak of late on RAW. Kingston tried his best to put up a good fight but Kane was on a mission here tonight and there was nothing he could do. Will it be the same this Sunday though King?
    King:
    Well it could quite possibly be. Kane has been running through the competition of late and both he and the Big Show think RAW is only big enough for one dominant giant. I think they’re going to need to reinforce the ring this Sunday in Minneapolis. Kane was dominant here tonight.
    Cole:
    And it doesn’t look like he is done for the evening yet as he has a microphone in hand in the centre of the ring. You’ve got to believe he has a message for the Big Show.
    The Big Red Machine - Kane:
    Big Show, this Sunday is your day of reckoning. Monday Night RAW is not big enough for the two of us and I will prove there is only one monster in the WWE. Whether I make you quit, inflict absolute punishment on you with whatever weapon I choose or set you on fire there will only be one outcome. Big Show, you will become my statement. The Big Red Monster is here to rule over RAW and anyone who steps in my way will be eviscerated. There is only one true giant and you will find out you have messed with the wrong man at Cyber Sunday. So Big Show I’m telling you, do NOT turn up for our match because I am going to end your career.
    And after I do that, I’m coming for one thing; the WWE Championship.
    With that Kane drops the microphone and does his usual taunt as fire explodes from all four turnbuckles and the stage is set for his match against the Big Show this Sunday at Cyber Sunday. These two monsters will finally collide after weeks of trying to demolish one another.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Cole:
    Welcome back to RAW everyone and Kane made a big statement before the commercial break. After beating Kofi Kingston he sent a warning to the Big Show before their match at Cyber Sunday saying he was going to end the giant’s career. And after that Kane has his focuses on none other than the WWE Championship. If I was Jack Swagger I’d be very worried.
    King:
    Well he might not need to be worried Cole as Swagger has a tough match of his own this Sunday against The Game, Triple H. Kane will no doubt target whoever comes out of that match with the title but he needs to focus on Big Show first and foremost. The World’s Largest Athlete is no slouch and I think Kane’s comments will only serve to anger him.
    Cole:
    Well it is now time for some more in-ring action on Monday Night RAW with the DIVA’s set to take it to the ring. The DIVA’s Champion, Mickie James is set to team up with Eve Torres to take on Melina and Alicia Fox who are both looking to impress the fans here tonight. One of the two or Gail Kim will take on James for the title this Sunday in Minneapolis with the WWE Universe deciding who it will be.

    Melina is first to enter and she gets a mixed reaction with many of the males in the audience cheering her for the trademark entrance and at how hot she looks in her purple and black attire this evening. Her tag team partner Alicia Fox gets a negative reaction from the WWE Universe but she just completely ignores them as she is clearly focused on the task in hand this evening. Eve Torres is first to enter for the opposite time and gets a lukewarm reaction at best. But things completely change when none other than Mickie James enters to a massive pop from the Calgary crowd. Mickie taunts with the DIVA’s Championship before this tag team contest gets started.

    TAG TEAM MATCH
    Melina & Alicia Fox vs. Mickie James & Eve Torres

    Melina and Mickie James lock up to start the match which has the crowd excited as they are clearly the two biggest names in the contest. Melina trash talks the DIVA’s Champion and says she will win the title at Cyber Sunday but Mickie just smirks as the two lock up and start throwing big forearms at one another. Neither woman is able to get the better of the other until Melina Irish whips Mickie who ducks under a clothesline attempt and takes down one of her potential opponents with a LOU THESZ PRESS on the rebound. Mickie hammers away at Melina before the referee pulls her off Melina. The DIVA’s Champion follows up with some nice kicks before using a SNAPMARE to get Melina in position for a big DROPKICK to the back of her head. Mickie quickly covers; 1… 2… Melina kicks out and refuses to be beaten this early in the match. Mickie maintains focus and drags her opponent over to the corner and tags in Eve Torres who gets a pleasant response from the crowd.

    Eve comes in and stomps away at Melina before getting her to her feet and Irish whipping her into the turnbuckle. Torres runs and connects with a big CORNER CLOTHESLINE before taking Melina down with a perfectly executed SWINGING NECKBREAKER as she goes for a pin. 1… 2… Melina gets the shoulder up and will still not be beaten. Eve senses she is well on top in the match and gets the Paparazzi Princess up to her feet as she connects with a couple of chops which the Calgary crowd enjoy. Eve kicks but Melina catchers her foot and this doesn’t end well for Torres as she delivers a brutal LARIAT which absolutely floors the DIVA. But Melina doesn’t pin as she is aware she has taken a lot of damage in the match and instead slowly makes her way to the corner to tag in none other than Alicia Fox.

    The woman who could become the DIVA’s Champion this weekend comes in on fire taking out Eve with a couple of clotheslines before she connects with a spine-rattling TILT-A-WHIRL BACKBREAKER. The ring shakes with the impact of the move but Alicia has no mercy and after only getting a two count from a pin attempt focuses once again. She gets Eve to her feet and takes her down with a beautiful NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX into a bridging pin position; 1…… 2…… Eve shows some resilience in kicking out. Alicia smirks as she is well on top in the match and Eve is getting back to her feet but is in perfect position for the SCISSORS KICK! Alicia goes for it but Eve avoids and stumbles backwards to her corner where Mickie James makes the blind tag. Alicia turns around oblivious and grabs hold of Eve but out of nowhere gets nailed with the MICK KICK! 1…… 2…… 3! Mickie James pins Alicia Fox just like that before Melina can get in the ring and do anything to stop it.
    Spoiler:

    Winners: Mickie James & Eve Torres

    After the match Mickie James and Eve are quickly up the ramp as Melina and Alicia Fox look angry and agitated in the ring. The commentators hype how the DIVA’s Champion is rolling going into Cyber Sunday and how Melina and Alicia Fox may have been teammates here tonight but come Sunday they will both want votes from the WWE Universe. The final shot is Eve Torres raising the hand of Mickie James at the top of the entrance ramp as she holds the DIVA’s Championship aloft.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We head backstage where we are taken inside RAW Co-General Manager Vickie Guerrero’s office and she is deep in conversation with WWE Champion, Jack Swagger ahead of his one-on-one bout with Randy Orton in tonight’s main event just days before the All American American puts his title on the line against Triple H at Cyber Sunday.
    WWE Champion – Jack Swagger:
    Vickie, are you sure about this? I mean I’ve got no problem facing Randy Orton. We all know I am better than him inside that ring and you’ll be ringside with me. But Triple H will be doing everything he can to get back in the building. I mean have we really got enough security to stop him?
    RAW Co-General Manager – Vickie Guerrero:
    Jack, trust me. We’ve got this covered. Step one of the plan was successful, now we just need to follow through and make sure we do the rest of the job tonight. Jack you worry about Randy Orton and I’ll deal with the rest. Before long we will get exactly what we want.
    WWE Champion – Jack Swagger:
    Alright Vickie I’m trusting you. You better make this work.
    With that Jack Swagger walks out of Vickie Guerrero’s office with the Co-General Manager not looking very pleased with the threat from the WWE Champion. The camera then fades and lands on the commentary team who hype up the main event once again which will see Swagger take on Randy Orton just days from Cyber Sunday.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    The music of Chris Jericho hits and Mr Money in the Bank makes his way down to the ring to a series of boos from the sold out crowd. The ring is set up with a television screen and some stalls which can mean only one thing; it is time for an edition of the Highlight Reel. Y2J gets in the ring and has a microphone in hand. He finally begins to speak as the WWE Universe stop giving him heat.

    Mr Money in the Bank – Chris Jericho:
    Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Highlight Reel!

    The crowd boo loudly but Jericho just carries on anyway.

    Mr Money in the Bank – Chris Jericho:
    Tonight, I will have three guests who could be fighting for the United States Championship at Cyber Sunday this Sunday. So let’s not waste any more time as frankly I can’t wait to get away from you gelatinous tapeworms here in the Canadian hell-hole known as Calgary.

    Immense heat for Jericho with his anti-Calgary comments but they flip completely when the music of the United States Champion, Matt Hardy hits and he makes his way to the ring. Hardy is dressed to compete and has the title strapped around his waist as he smiles and takes in the huge ovation he receives. Hardy steps between the ropes and stares straight at Jericho, clearly not trusting him one bit.

    Mr Money in the Bank – Chris Jericho:
    Matt, welcome to the Highlight Reel and what I want to know is how does it feel? How does it feel to receive all this adulation from the fans? How does it feel to be cheered each and every single night because you finally won the United States Championship? I mean how many times did it take? And what makes it even more ludicrous is you could very well lose that title at Cyber Sunday.

    United States Champion – Matt Hardy:
    Woah, woah, woah Chris! Hold on for just one second. I earned every shot I got at this title and you’ll be lucky if you ever receive the love I do from these fans.

    Mr Money in the Bank – Chris Jericho:
    You think I need the approval of these stupid idiots?! I’m Mr Money in the Bank and I will be the next WWE Champion.

    United States Champion – Matt Hardy:
    Chris, these fans will make sure I get what I deserve and at Cyber Sunday I will beat Christian and I will beat Lance Cade in a Triple Threat Match if these fans decide they want the US Title to be defended in the bonus match at the pay per view.

    Before we can go any further the music of Christian hits as he walks out in a suit looking extremely smart with microphone in hand. He starts speaking as he gets half way down the ramp.

    Captain Charisma – Christian:
    Matt, how many times do I have to tell you. You’re not on my level. The only reason you are standing there right now with the United States Championship is because you got lucky in a Ladder Match. In any match that doesn’t use weapons there is no comparison between me and you and you know it.

    Mr Money in the Bank – Chris Jericho:
    Christian everyone! A man who has all the peeps in the palm of his hand and makes a good point Matt. When was the last time you won a match by yourself without any special stipulations to help you?

    United States Champion – Matt Hardy:
    Jericho you better watch yourself. You keep running your mouth and I’ll drop you with a Twist of Fate!

    Before anything can go any further a very familiar voice is heard as the crowd immediately start booing loudly at the slimy tone of none other than The Advocate, Paul Heyman.

    The Advocate – Paul Heyman:
    Ladies and gentleman, my name is Paul Heyman and I am the advocate of the Next Big Thing, the Ruthless Redneck and your next United States Champion, LANCE CADE!

    Lance Cade comes out from the back to stand next to Heyman looking as intense as ever in jeans and his new WWE Shop t-shirt. Heyman smiles at Cade before he continues to speak and hype his client.

    The Advocate – Paul Heyman:
    Chris Jericho I apologise for interrupting but myself and Mr Cade could no longer stand backstage and listen to these empty threats and insignificant claims from the United States Champion, Matt Hardy. Now while being the champion itself is an impressive feat, let’s take a look at my client Lance Cade and what he has achieved since asking for my guidance. Lance Cade has won every single match he has wrestled in. A win streak that yourself Mr Hardy could only dream of. So quite simply I will put it like this. At Cyber Sunday when the WWE Universe decide they want to see my client in action they will see a new United States Champion anointed as Lance Cade wins gold and takes another step to his quest of conquering all in the entire WWE.

    Mr Money in the Bank – Chris Jericho:
    You hear that Matt. You haven’t got a chance at Cyber Sunday! In fact you haven’t got a chance now!

    With that Jericho nails Matt Hardy with the microphone and begins hammering away at the United States Champion. Christian and Lance Cade look on from the outside until…

    The music of RAW Co-General Manager, Trish Stratus blasts through the arena as she gets an almighty reaction from the crowd in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Jericho stops attacking Hardy as he turns his attention to the RAW authority figure as does Lance Cade, Paul Heyman and Christian. Stratus is looking furious as she has microphone in hand and begins to speak over the cheering fans.

    RAW Co-General Manager – Trish Stratus:
    Jericho, you want to talk such a big game and then blindside your guests on the Highlight Reel then it is time for you to put your money where your mouth is because right now it will be the United States Champion, Matt Hardy going one-on-one with Mr Money in the Bank, Chris Jericho! Now get me a referee out here!

    The referee runs down the ramp as the screen fades and we go to a commercial break.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cole:
    Welcome back to RAW everyone and we are about to have an impromptu match between the United States Champion, Matt Hardy and Mr Money in the Bank, Chris Jericho. Hardy was blindsided by Jericho during the Highlight Reel before the commercial break and now he has a chance of immediate revenge against the multiple time WWE Champion.
    King:
    And don’t forget Hardy has Christian sitting at ringside and Lance Cade standing at the top of the stage with his Advocate, Paul Heyman. Don’t forget one of the bonus match options at Cyber Sunday is a triple threat match which would see Hardy defend the gold against both Captain Charisma and the Ruthless Redneck. Hardy will want an impressive win here for sure.
    Cole:
    And that’s the bell so we are underway in this non-title contest.
    NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH
    Matt Hardy vs. Chris Jericho
    The match starts with Hardy immediately going after Jericho looking for some revenge for the harsh words and the blindside attack from Jericho before the break. Hardy throws right hands, drops Jericho with a neckbreaker and delivers a jumping punch to the floored Mr Money in the Bank who rolls to the outside and looks to get back on track. Jericho shouts at a fan in the front row which gets him heat from the entire WWE Universe. Hardy begs Jericho to get back in the ring and he eventually does but he makes sure the referee gets the United States Champion back first. This is when the tables turn as Jericho sees Hardy coming and kicks him in the knee to take him down to a knee. Jericho completely floors his opponent with a beautiful and rarely seen SHINING WIZARD!. Mr Money in the Bank quickly pins and thinks he has done enough for a quick win; 1… 2… Hardy won’t give up that easily though as he kicks out and the match continues.
    Jericho dominates the next couple of minutes in the match, keeping Hardy grounded with some forearms and mounted punches. Jericho gets Hardy to his feet only to drop him again with a NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX. Y2J bridges; 1… 2… Hardy kicks out once more but needs to get back in the match and fast. The camera cuts to Christian sitting ringside at this point who is smiling and then to Lance Cade who is being told something by Paul Heyman at the top of the ramp. Jericho sits Hardy on the canvas and drives his knee into the back of the United States Champion, locking in a submission as he looks to grind him down and secure a win. The crowd slowly get behind Hardy as they look to clap and get the fan favourite out of the hold. Hardy gets to his feet and elbows his way out of the hold before flooring Jericho with a high impact CLOTHESLINE and then his trademark BULLDOG! Hardy drops his hand over the body of the limp Jericho looking for a pin attempt for the first time; 1…… 2…… This time Jericho refuses to give up.
    The crowd are solidly behind the United States Champion over Mr Money in the Bank as he waits for Jericho to get back to his feet. Hardy stalks him before going behind and connecting with an INVERTED DDT. Instead of going for a pinfall attempt Hardy decides it is time to take a risk as he goes to the top rope and faces into the crowd. The United States Champion leaps and delivers a perfect MOONSAULT! 1……… 2……… Jericho just gets his shoulder up in time to avoid what would have to be considered a shock defeat. The WWE Universe sense Hardy could be on the brink of a huge victory as the camera cuts to Christian who now looks concerned at how well his arch rival is doing in the contest. Hardy waits again for Jericho to get to his feet and locks Y2J in position for the SIDE EFFECT! Jericho gets planted on the canvas again! Is this it? 1……… 2……………… NO! Jericho gets his foot on the bottom rope as Hardy hooked the inside leg instead of the outside one. He cannot believe it!
    Hardy pleads with the referee that it had to be three as he is desperate for a huge and memorable win. The United States Champion re-focuses as he stalks Jericho and is clearly thinking it is time to deliver the TWIST OF FATE! Hardy has him in position but Jericho manages to get out of it. Christian is now on the apron trying to distract the referee as Y2J rakes the eyes of Hardy! The United States Champion is momentarily blinded and Jericho connects with the CODE BREAKER!!! Christian drops down from the apron as Mr Money in the Bank hooks the legs. 1………… 2……………… 3! Chris Jericho defeats Matt Hardy.
    Spoiler:
    Winner: Chris Jericho
    Chris Jericho celebrates after the match as he is handed his Money in the Bank briefcase. The WWE Universe boo loudly at the way Jericho won the match but Christian is smirking at the fallen Hardy from the outside. Heyman and Lance Cade are also happy at the fact Hardy lost at the top of the ramp as Jericho has his hand raised and RAW goes to another commercial break as we are just days from Cyber Sunday.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    A video montage of matches at Cyber Sunday from the past plays including a Champion vs. Champion vs. Champion Match between John Cena, King Booker and the Big Show where the WWE Universe voted for King Booker to defend the World Heavyweight Championship, Chris Jericho vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Special Guest Referee and Ric Flair teaming with Rowdy Roddy Piper to take on the Spirit Squad.

    A voice-over is then heard once again:

    "At Cyber Sunday you the WWE Universe (Wrestling Clique Users) will decide the matches, stipulations and in one case the winner of a match as Cyber Sunday returns!"

    WWE Cyber Sunday comes your way Sunday 24th October live on pay per view!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cole:
    Welcome back to RAW everyone as we get ever nearer to Cyber Sunday. Chris Jericho made a point before the break beating United States Champion, Matt Hardy and he will have another WWE Championship reign on his mind as he possesses the Money in the Bank briefcase. But now we’re switching gears to a big singles match between John Cena and the Masterpiece, Chris Masters.
    King:
    And Cena has had issues with Masters and his tag team partner Carlito in recent weeks but has found an unlikely ally in Randy Orton. But with the Apex Predator preparing for battle with the WWE Champion, Jack Swagger he might be forced to go it alone tonight. And Masters and Carlito will definitely look to make their numerical advantage pay.
    Cole:
    They will indeed King but don’t forget last week Cena, Orton and Kofi Kingston were able to knock off Masters, Carlito and Chris Jericho so the mental edge may be with the multiple-time WWE Champion. And we are ready for this match as listen to this place! Here comes John Cena!
    John Cena bursts through the curtain and gets an almighty reaction from the crowd. It seems the fans in Canada are bigger fans of the Chain Gang Soldier than those in the United States. Cena gets in the ring and runs the ropes before throwing his cap and t-shirt into the crowd as he awaits his opponents for this evening. That man is of course Chris Masters who makes his slow entrance with Carlito, posing and showing off his muscles with fireworks at the top of the stage. Masters gets in the ring and gets straight in Cena’s face as referee Marty Elias asks for the bell to be rung for the one-on-one contest as Carlito lurks at ringside to support his tag team partner.
    SINGLES MATCH
    John Cena vs. Chris Masters w/Carlito
    The match starts with a bang as instead of going after Masters, Cena quickly rolls out of the ring and runs at Carlito taking him out with a massive CLOTHESLINE! The crowd cheer loudly as Cena has immediately evened the odds for himself at least for a period of time. Cena gets back in the ring and ducks a big punch from Masters and delivers a number of his own before dropping the muscular Masters with a beautiful bulldog. Cena goes for a quick pin attempt; 1… 2… The Masterpiece kicks out as it is still very early in the contest. Cena stays focused though and continues to hammer away at Chris Masters. He Irish whips him into the turnbuckle and clotheslines him in the corner. Cena takes a seat on the top rope with his legs on the second rope as he grabs Masters by the head and nails him with a wicked TORNADO DDT. Cena goes for another cover; 1…… 2…… Masters gets the shoulder up as he tries to stay in the match which the former WWE Champion is absolutely dominating.
    Cena keeps building momentum as he stomps away at Masters and tries to keep on top in the contest. Cena shows off his power by dropping the Masterpiece with a BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX and locking him in a body scissors as he tries to wind the big man. The crowd get behind Cena as he slows the pace down momentarily. Masters tries to get out of it but Cena changes his form of attack and plants him with a beautiful FISHERMAN SUPLEX. Before Cena goes for the pin though Carlito is back to his feet and on the ring apron. Cena sees him immediately and blasts him off with a huge right hand as the crowd cheer again at the former WWE Champion evening the playing field. However, this time Masters takes advantage and nails Cena with an impactful SPINEBUSTER! Masters hooks the leg this time looking for a quick win over his opponent. 1…… 2…… Cena gets the shoulder up but that was an extremely close call.
    Masters realises he is now in control and hammers away at Cena using his strength advantage to ground him. The Masterpiece shows his amazing power by lifting Cena up and holding him in position for a DELAYED VERTICAL SUPLEX which he actually uses just one arm for before dropping the former WWE Champion onto the canvas. Masters gets Cena back to his feet and drops him immediately again with a powerful SIDEWALK SLAM as he hooks the leg this time. 1……… 2……… Cena shows his resilience and never give up attitude as he kicks out strongly. Masters begins to show some frustration in not winning in quicker fashion and Irish whips Cena into the turnbuckle. He follows that up with some seriously hard chops which light up the chest of the Chain Gang Soldier. Masters then Irish whips Cena and plants him with a picture-perfect SAMOAN DROP! Will the Masterpiece win this time? 1………… 2………… Cena again shows his character in getting his shoulder up.
    Masters is even more frustrated now as he gets Cena to his feet and SLAPS HIM as hard as he can across the face. This does not go well for the Masterpiece as it enrages Cena and he CLOTHESLINES Masters over the top rope and to the floor below. Cena goes after the Masterpiece but out of nowhere Carlito blocks the way. He doesn’t take out Cena but it gives Masters enough time to get back in the ring and escape the wrath of Cena. The former WWE Champion decides to hammer away at Carlito though and throws him straight into the STEEL STEPS which echoes throughout the arena. Cena quickly gets back in the ring and goes after Masters but he is met with a huge SCOOP POWERSLAM! Then in one quick movement Masters hauls Cena into the MASTER LOCK!!! Cena tries his hardest to fight out of the deadly submission but it becomes clear after a minute or so there is no way he is getting out of the manoeuvre. Cena passes out and the referee calls for the bell as Masters picks up a huge victory over the former WWE Champion.
    Spoiler:
    Winner: Chris Masters
    The music of Masters hits as the WWE Universe is stunned at what they just witnessed. Chris Masters has just made John Cena pass out with the Master Lock and picked up the biggest win of his career to date. Carlito eventually gets up and joins Masters on the entrance ramp as the two celebrate a massive win on Monday Night RAW as the show goes to its next commercial break with John Cena still flat out on the canvas.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    We return to RAW with a special look at none other than The Undertaker after his match with Batista at Cyber Sunday was postponed due to the Animal dealing with personal issues outside of the WWE ring.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cole:
    Welcome back to RAW everyone and what a night it has been here so far and we still have our massive main event to come which will see the WWE Champion, Jack Swagger taking on none other than Randy Orton in a non-title contest. And don’t forget Triple H has been banned from the building by RAW Co-General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Swagger will be looking for a big win as we get ever closer to Cyber Sunday where he will defend the WWE Title against The Game.
    King:
    But don’t forget Orton is a former champion himself and will be looking at this as a major opportunity to make a statement and get himself back in the WWE Championship picture. The All American American is going to have his work cut out against the Apex Predator here tonight. But we’ve got more in-ring action before that Michael.
    Cole:
    We do indeed King as the undefeated Rough Justice team up with the Cruiserweight Champion, Kaval to take on The World’s Greatest Tag Team and Primo in 6-man tag team action and here comes Tyler Reks and Vance Archer!
    The monstrous duo of Rough Justice stride down to the ring with smoke filling the arena and red and white flashing lights. The crowd give a mixed reaction as Reks and Archer are clearly a spectacle with how they have been dominating opponents in recent weeks. Rough Justice get in the ring and await their tag team partner to arrive. That of course is none other than the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Kaval who gets a lot of heat from the WWE Universe. Kaval has dominated everyone who has challenge him since winning the title from Evan Bourne.
    Next out are Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, The World’s Greatest Tag Team. The pair get a really nice pop from the crowd although they haven’t been successful in tag team action in recent times. The pair wisely stand outside the ring before they are joined by the athletic Primo who has his sights firmly set on Kaval and his title. The trio enter the ring as we are ready for the match to start.
    6-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
    Rough Justice & Kaval vs. The World’s Greatest Tag Team & Primo
    Kaval and Primo are the two men to start us off in the match as the crowd are entertained by some high-flying action in the early moments of the contest. Kaval tries to throw a number of kicks at Primo but the Cruiserweight evades the champion and delivers a nice HURRICANRANA to take down his opponent. Primo continues to build momentum with a DROPKICK and a nice CROSSBODY from the top rope as the crowd pop for the man who wants to be the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship. Primo gets Kaval to his feet but the World Warrior ducks under a clothesline attempt and tries to go for another big roundhouse kick but Primo has it well scouted once more. The man from the Caribbean ducks underneath and ends up behind Kaval in perfect position for the BACK STABBER! Kaval holds onto the top rope though and avoids getting nailed with the knees into the back as he makes a desperate tag to Tyler Reks to get away from the onslaught of Primo.
    The crowd gasp as they sense what is about to happen. Shelton Benjamin calls Primo over and demands a tag as he wants a piece of Tyler Reks. This is easily the toughest test to date for Reks as Benjamin goes after him with some big right hands and two clotheslines. Benjamin looks to throw a third huge lariat at Reks but he is absolutely flattened with a BIG BOOT by Reks who turns to the crowd and menacingly stares as Shelton bounces hard off the canvas. Reks runs over to Archer and tags him in as the other half of Rough Justice sprints across the ring and knocks Charlie Haas off the apron with a brutal RUNNING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Primo tries to springboard off the ropes to help his teammates but is caught by Reks with a POP-UP POWERSLAM which makes the ring shake as the crowd gasp again.
    Shelton Benjamin is back to his feet and tries to get some offence going but has little luck as he is swatted aside by Reks again. Kaval gets in the ring and sprints across before leaping over the top rope and connecting with a huge SOMERSAULT PLANCHA to Charlie Haas and Primo and taking them out of commission. That leaves Tyler Reks and Vance Archer in the ring alone with Shelton Benjamin which is not going to end well for the member of the World’s Greatest Tag Team. Reks gets Benjamin on his shoulders in a Samoan Drop position on the second rope before jumping him and planting him on the knees of Vance Archer with a sickening thud. Rough Justice deliver THE SENTENCING! Legal man Tyler Reks hooks the leg of Shelton Benjamin and this one is over. 1…… 2…… 3.
    Spoiler:
    Winners: Rough Justice
    Rough Justice have left a pile of bodies in their wake and Tyler Reks and Vance Archer must be getting closer to a WWE Tag Team Championship opportunity against The Empire over on SmackDown. Reks and Archer celebrate in the ring as on the outside Kaval smiles as he is handed his WWE Cruiserweight Championship and RAW goes to the final commercial break of the evening.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Cole:
    Welcome back to RAW everyone and before the break we witnessed sheer domination from the duo known as Rough Justice as they absolutely tore through Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. The tag team division has been put on notice by Tyler Reks and Vance Archer. But now it is time to turn our attention to the main event on Monday Night RAW as WWE Champion, Jack Swagger takes on Randy Orton.
    King:
    I cannot wait for this one Cole, Swagger has been dominant since he became champion albeit needing the help of Vickie Guerrero on several occasions to keep hold of the title. But tonight he has no distractions as Triple H has been banned from the building and Swagger can focus on Orton. The Viper is not a man to take lightly though.
    Cole:
    You can say that again. Randy Orton is an elite superstar in the WWE and a former champion in his own right. Swagger has to focus if he wants a win here tonight and to build momentum ahead of his WWE Championship match with Triple H at Cyber Sunday this Sunday!. And here comes his opponent, listen to his ovation for the Apex Predator, Randy Orton!

    The music of the former member of Evolution hits and he makes his way to the ring to a massive reaction from the sold out crowd. Orton is wearing his black trunks with red livery as he rolls into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle before raising his arms in trademark fashion to another almighty pop. Orton slowly repeats that on a second turnbuckle before awaiting his opponent for tonight’s main event. WWE Champion, Jack Swagger enters alongside RAW Co-General Manager, Vickie Guerrero to monstrous heat. The All American American takes it all in his stride as he walks down the aisle and is staring a hole through Randy Orton in the ring. Swagger raises the WWE Championship aloft before handing it to the referee and signalling he is ready for this non-title contest. The bell rings and we are underway.

    NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH
    Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton

    [quote]The match starts with Randy Orton immediately going after Jack Swagger and trying to catch him by surprise. The Viper hammers away at the WWE Champion before dropping him with a big clothesline which sends Swagger to the outside. Swagger looks to catch his breath but Orton is having none of it and goes after the All American American on the outside. Orton grabs hold of Swagger and delivers a huge BACKDROP to him onto the barricade. Orton follows that up by shooting a menacing glance at Vickie Guerrero. The RAW Co-General Manager looks uneasy as Orton rolls Swagger back in the ring and delivers a perfect dropkick to take him back of his feet once more. Randy goes for the first cover of the match; 1… 2… Swagger kicks out and it is going to take a lot more punishment to keep him down for a three count. Orton senses he is on top and taunts to the fans in Canada who pop loudly for the Apex Predator.

    The Legend Killer is in the zone as he Irish whips Swagger into the turnbuckle and delivers a number of EUROPEAN UPPERCUTS to his opponent. Vickie Guerrero screams at the referee to pull Orton off of the WWE Champion and the official does but as he does Swagger floors Orton with a brutal LARIAT of his own. Swagger takes a moment to get his bearings after the onslaught of offence he has taken so far in the contest. Once he does he immediately goes after The Viper and clubs him on the back repeatedly before throwing him half way across the ring with a beautiful BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX. Orton gets straight back up but Swagger floors him again with a big GERMAN SUPLEX! Swagger hooks the leg; 1…… 2…… Orton gets the shoulder up and refuses to quit in tonight’s main event on RAW. Swagger gets some encouragement from Vickie Guerrero on the outside as he sits Orton on the top rope. The WWE Champion nails his opponent with a big punch and knocks him to the floor on the outside with a brutal thud.

    Swagger is quick to capitalise on his fallen opponent as he stomps away at Orton on the outside before getting him to his feet and lifting him. The WWE Champion drives the Apex Predator back first into the steel ring post. Orton screams in pain as Swagger smirks and Vickie Guerrero delights in the work of her client. Swagger gets back in the ring and tells the referee to countout his opponent. Mike Chioda starts the count; 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… Orton begins to stir… 8… 9… Orton just makes it back in the ring to avoid defeat. Swagger cannot believe it but quickly sees Orton is laying prone in position for the SWAGGER BOMB! The All American American flies down onto his opponent after propelling himself backwards off the second rope. Swagger hooks both legs of Orton; 1……… 2…………… The Viper gets the shoulder up and stays alive. The WWE Champion cannot believe it and argues with the referee but of course that proves to be his downfall.

    Swagger turns around and goes to get Orton up but is met with a an INVERTED HEADLOCK BACKBREAKER as Randy somehow gets back on top in the match despite being exhausted from the punishment he has taken. Orton now Irish whips Swagger and plants him with a huge POWERLSAM as he hooks the leg; 1…………… 2…………………… The WWE Champion gets the shoulder up! Orton is fuming and sees his opportunity as Swagger is motionless on the canvas. Orton signals for the RKO as the crowd go nuts. Orton jumps for the deadly manoeuvre but Swagger throws him off and he hits the turnbuckle hard. The WWE Champion rolls his opponent up; 1…………… 2…………………… The Viper kicks out. Both men get back to their feet and take each other out with huge CLOTHESLINES as Vickie Guerrero looks on concerned for her client. Things are about to take a turn for the worse though…

    Triple H is in the building. The Game has somehow managed to evade security and has returned as the Calgary crowd go absolutely nuts for the number one contender for the WWE Championship. Triple H strides down to the ring as Vickie Guerrero looks like she has seen a ghost. Swagger gets to his feet and sees the Cerebral Assassin is coming his way and tries to get out but Randy Orton is behind him and stops him. Triple H hammers away at Swagger as does Orton in a throwback to their days together in Evolution as the referee throws the match out.

    Spoiler:

    Winner: Jack Swagger via disqualification

    The bell ringing has little to no effect on Triple H and Randy Orton though as they double-team the WWE Champion. Triple H is irate and Vickie Guerrero is calling on security to come down to the ring and try and stop Triple H and Randy Orton. Eight security guards come down but an RKO OUT OF NOWHERE takes one out immediately as Triple H clotheslines another two. Orton powerslams one before he delivers another RKO to another. Triple H nails the PEDIGREE on the final security guard as Swagger tries to crawl his way out of the ring. Triple H is having none of it though as The Game does his signature crotch chop before kicking Jack Swagger in the gut. The Game connects with a huge PREDIGREE!!! Jack Swagger is motionless on the canvas as Randy Orton gets out of the ring as he feels his work is done for the night. That leaves Triple H in the ring posing in front of the fallen WWE Champion just days away from their main event clash at Cyber Sunday.

    Cole:
    Triple H has made a statement here tonight on Monday Night RAW! The Game has floored the WWE Champion ahead of his match with Jack Swagger at Cyber Sunday this Sunday. Listen to this place, it is clear who Calgary want to become the WWE Champion. And look at Vickie Guerrero. She is beside herself at ringside.
    King:
    Well even the best plans can be ruined by the likes of Triple H and it is clear that the RAW Co-GM underestimated the Cerebral Assassin here tonight. Triple H has had the last laugh and Jack Swagger was right to be concerned earlier in the show. He is seeing stars right now. And before The Game even showed up the WWE Champion could well have lost to Randy Orton.
    Cole:
    He certainly could have but we will never know. Triple H stands tall as we say goodnight for another week on Monday Night RAW and we will see you at Cyber Sunday!!

    RAW REVIEW

    Good start to the night with Triple H wanting to exact revenge on Jack Swagger for what happened at the end of last week. Trips running through security would have been great to see but The Game can't take on the whole roster. Swagger was too smug and I fully expect Trips to get revenge later on.

    Kane beating Kingston was expected, especially with one guy looking to go into a monstrous battle in six days and the other not involved at all. The promo from Kane was good and sent a message to The Big Show. Not expecting their final encounter to be a masterclass, but it will be messy and terminal for this feud. I'm just debating whether I make it an I quit match just for laughs. Inferno Match does seem a lot more final for the loser though.

    Nice little tag team match between three of the Divas in the title mix and I will admit that I had to go back a few shows to remember what happened with Gail Kim before I realise she is on Smackdown. Also Alicia Fox won't be getting my vote for certain after losing both here and to Mickie last week. I'm torn over Melina, who has that heel fire or giving Gail the shot because she beat Mickie a few weeks back.

    Highlight Reel was enjoyable and Jericho really got into Matt's head. The match as expected was competitive and Jericho keeps his momentum up thanks to a little assistance from Christian. The triple threat will get my vote merely because I think it's the match I'm unsure of the outcome. Even though I love Punk/Edge/Morrison individually I think I can wait to see them go at it. As for Matt I'm hoping he gets built up as a star who will not go down easily, probably leading to him retaining at Cyber Sunday if the match goes ahead.

    Cena took his eye off the ball tonight and he paid the price for it. Carlito and Masters are continuing to look good in their feud with the biggest star of the company. I'm wodnering whether we are waiting for a Super Cena moment in the near future that propels Cena back into the title equation, especially once Swagger drops it.

    Nice to see that The Undertaker has not disappeared because of the stop in his rivalry with Batista. Rehab could be a while so a new story for The Deadman could be what he needs. Off the top of my head both Kane and whoever wins the WWE Championship match could be next in line to tackle Taker.

    I bet Kaval looked like the cat that got the cream after being paired with Rough Justice, who destroyed The World's Greatest Tag Team. It won't be long before they are in title matches for the title and I expect that they could definitely be the future faces of the division.

    Top main event and Triple H coming down was expected and after a little help from Orton he stands tall as Raw goes off the air. If we are picking the winner of this match then I hope my fellow voters side with me and pick Jack Swagger. It would be awesome for Swagger's CV if he outlasted both Cena and Trips in feuds and I think there is a lot more challenges that Swagger could face down the line. Also I'm a little anxious/excited that the result is pointless as I'm expecting Jericho to cash in, hence the only reason you'd put the winner up to the readers.

    Cyber Sunday is looking great and I'm very excited to get my votes in soon. Welcome back Order... just make sure you stay back this time!!!

    Re: WWE: The New Vision

    Raw Review

    First time checking this thread out, excited to see such a long running thread and experiencing it for the first time. Forgive me if I’m not entirely sure of what is going on but I’ll do my best. I’ve given a few of the previews a look and it seems like a several interesting things are going on.

    I enjoyed the first segment as a way to put some restrictions on Triple H considering how big a force the character tends to be. The use of security guards was really well done as it allowed for Guerrero to call on the Raw roster, further creating a gap between Triple H and those willing to do the bidding of the evil authority figure. It’s really good story telling rather than having the roster hit the ring from the get go. In the same way, Orton’s assist at the end of the show not only provided equal footing for Triple H, and elevating Orton, but it put more heat on those individuals who helped restrain The Game earlier in the night.

    As a presentation option, and something that’s entirely down to personal preference, I would’ve liked to see a clear indication of when a commercial break is taking place. I realized afterwards you’ve put a line to show that but I often got that confused with just a separation of segments rather than an indication of a break in the show. Just made me read over stuff again to make sure I knew what was happening when.

    I liked the intensity from Kane on the microphone. I often see people keep him silent but Kane is such a layered character that can be ten times more interesting if you actually dig into his history. I think you captured the character really well. A big monster fight is something that can be great or absolutely horrid. From what you did on this show I’m looking forward to seeing a fight. That’s what I’d expect from the match since the characters aren’t exactly the best wrestlers and it would work really well with the stipulations you’ve put forward, all of which capture what this feud should be – a fight.

    The Highlight Reel was interesting, I think it could’ve gone a little longer with more back and forth between Hardy, Christian and Heyman. There was a heavy focus on Hardy and Jericho, without knowing the full backstory, it appeared to me as a reader that the two challengers were secondary to a larger story of Hardy vs. Jericho. Looking at the pay-per-view card that doesn’t seem to be the case, reading this I thought Jericho was involved somehow. I get that the result wanted was for Jericho and Hardy to wrestle, and I think you could’ve got there as well as putting more focusing on the three-way competitors. The segment got me excited for Jericho/Hardy, not necessarily for Hardy/Christian/Cade.

    Stratus appears to be a fan favourite – I support the dynamic of co-mangers with a heel and a face. It creates a fun contrast where you can have the heel making side deals as with Swagger and Guerrero, while Stratus carries with her a sense of justice. It was a nice move with the beatdown turning into a match, good job overall and I like the inclusion of Stratus.

    I’m a fan of mid-card talent getting elevated in BTBs. It creates a unique dynamic for that specific thread which is considerably different to the WWE or real-life organizations path they have taken. Masters looked like a big deal here causing Cena to go out cold. Not only that but you gave Cena an ‘out’ with it being a two on one situation. That’s smart booking and something I enjoy seeing. I could say the same thing with Kofi Kingston and even Swagger as WWE Champion. Keep pushing those types of guys, for someone like me who hasn’t read a majority of this thread, it peaks my interest as I can go back and see how they rose through the ranks. Good job.

    Matches were fun to read. You’ve clearly got a handle on that. The main event had a great angle to end the show. I’d be interested to see a follow up on how Triple H got back into the building. Overall, for a first time reading, this was a really fun show. The fresh characters made me want to have a further look at what this thread provides and I’ll be keeping up as it goes along.

    Fun stuff!

    Re: WWE: The New Vision

    I appreciate you dropping in on my thread a few days ago. Thought I’d return the favour. Obviously, this is my first time checking this thread out, so I’m coming in blind, and it might take me a while to get up to speed with what’s going on. Much respect for any long running BTB such as this.

    Anyway, off the bat, I’m impressed to see Jack Swagger as the WWE Champion. Just a missed opportunity for the WWE with Swagger, completely misusing him in real life, so it’s refreshing to see him as the WWE Champion and in a prominent role. Refreshing.

    Swagger being the client of the Raw Co-GM (Vickie and Trish as General Managers sounds interesting by the way) is an interesting twist, and I can just envisage the stunts Vickie must be pulling on a weekly basis to protect her client as champion. Vickie giving Triple H the night off makes sense, given her allegiances, not wanting Triple H to get some revenge after the table spot highlighted at the top of the show last week. I liked that it took a load of roster members to finally subdue The Game, emphasizing just how fired up he was.

    Was surprised that Kane beat Kofi, given the run Kingston appears to be on after beating the champion and Jericho in recent weeks, though with Kane gearing up for a big match at Cyber Sunday, it’s the wise decision. Always good to see the main motivation for people being the WWE Title, and Kane pointing out that that is what he’s after once he gets done with Show is good to see. Always makes the title feel that much more important.

    Mickie appears to be a pretty dominant champion in the Divas division right now. I’m guessing Alicia Fox wont be much of a factor in the voting after taking the loss here.

    Interesting to see Swagger dictating to Vickie. Not sure if you’re building dissention between the two or if this was just Swagger being apprehensive about Triple H returning. Also, I’m glad you addressed that possibility, as everyone watching would be predicting Triple H coming back, so at least Swagger doesn’t look stupid by just assuming Triple H was gone and that was it.

    The Highlight Reel segment definitely got me interested in seeing that triple threat match at Cyber Sunday, so it would be getting my vote for sure. Cade with Heyman sounds great. Was always high on Cade personally, so seeing him get the Paul Heyman stardust makes me happy. Cade and Swagger being featured in prominent roles are the two big takeaways I have on first viewing of this thread.

    Pretty cool to see Masters and Carlito paired up again in this thread. They felt like they were a rising force as a pair, helping each other in late 2005/early 2006 before their partnership got broken up, so I hope that their reunion is having the same effect it had in that time period. Massive win for Masters too - the Masterlock is such a simple hold, but it was so over by the middle of 2005, it’s good to see you making it as special again now. If even John Cena {Superman} is failing to break it, the Master Lock is definitely being taken seriously. My only complaint about it as that it didn’t feel as if enough was made of Masters putting Cena to sleep in the Master Lock - that could’ve been a show closing angle. Obviously, not this show, considering there’s a PPV to promote, but it’s a pity this match couldn’t have been held off for a week to make it a more special moment.

    I like the team name of Rough Justice and Seeing Reks and Vance Archer getting a push is another refreshing sight to see. Not often either man is used to any degree in a BTB. Refreshing appears to be the buzz word I keep going back to on this review - seeing different names in prominent roles and getting pushes, it definitely makes this thread stand out to me off the bat on first viewing.

    Expected the finish of the show, with Triple H returning to run roughshod and get a measure of revenge on Swagger heading into Cyber Sunday. Fine way to close the show, focusing on the big PPV match. Intriguing that you’re leaving the choice of winner up to the readers of the thread.

    Anyways, I found this as pretty enjoyable read, despite coming in cold on the thread, I didn’t feel like I was completely lost on what was going on. My only negative is that I didn’t think enough was made of Masters knocking off John Cena considering the manner he did it with the Master Lock. I felt that a lot more should’ve been made of it - unless - this isn’t the first time it’s happened, in which case, then, ignore my complaint.

    Overall, it’s exciting to see Swagger as Champion, Masters on the rise, and the likes of Tyler Reks and Vance Archer making moves. All guys that didn’t get the push they deserved, or in Reks and Archers cases, didn’t get a chance to show what they had. Good to see something different.

    Cyber Sunday Cyber Sunday Announcement and WWE Superstars Preview

    WWE Breaking News – Tuesday 19th October 2010

    Following the events in recent weeks on Monday Night RAW between John Cena, Randy Orton, Chris Masters and Carlito a huge match has been announced for Cyber Sunday. With Batista vs. Undertaker pulled from the card, John Cena will now team up with Randy Orton to take on the Caribbean star and the Masterpiece in a blockbuster tag team match. It is thought there will be no fan vote on the match due to the late nature of the contest being made. Will Cena and Orton show their class or will the upstarts Carlito and Masters pick up a massive victory?

    Thursday 21st October 2010

    We are just three days away from WWE Cyber Sunday as RAW and SmackDown wrestlers compete on WWE Superstars. And this week’s main event is presented by Monday Night RAW hot on the heels of the announcement that John Cena and Randy Orton will take on Carlito and Chris Masters at the pay per view in Minneapolis. And after Cena was unable to overcome Masters on RAW due to the numbers game it is the turn of the Apex Predator to take on the Masterpiece. Who will come out on top just days before Cyber Sunday though?

    We will also have two big tag team matches on the show as the dominant duo of Tyler Reks and Vance Archer known as Rough Justice will compete with The World’s Greatest Tag Team and on the SmackDown side of things Cryme Tyme will battle the team of Ted DiBiase and Goldust. And don’t forget tomorrow night on the blue brand DiBiase and Goldust will fight to become the permanent tag team partner of Cody Rhodes. Is there any way the duo can be a cohesive team just 24 hours before that though?

    The fourth and final match to take place on WWE Superstars on WGN America this Thursday sees Empire member Finlay take on Tyson Kidd. That’s just three days before The Empire take on The Hart Dynasty for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Fans will get to vote on the referee for that match with Bret Hart, William Regal and SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long as the options. Both Finlay and Tyson Kidd will want to build some momentum ahead of Cyber Sunday. Tune in to WWE Superstars this Thursday for all this and more.

    Superstar WWE Superstars - Thursday 21st October 2010

    Superstars – 21st October 2010

    Master of The Viper?

    Mathews:
    Ladies and gentlemen we welcome you to WWE Superstars and we are just three days away from Cyber Sunday, the most interactive pay per view of the year. Fans will get to have their say on almost every match and rivalries and championships will be settled. But first SmackDown and RAW brings you another action-packed episode of Superstars. My broadcast partner Matt Striker will tell you more.
    Striker:
    Thank you Josh and SmackDown does indeed have two fascinating contests tonight. The Hart Dynasty will look to win the WWE Tag Team Championship at Cyber Sunday when they take on The Empire but tonight Tyson Kidd will look to get some momentum over Finlay. Can the last graduate of the Hart Dungeon pick up a win or will the Belfast Brawler make a statement?
    Mathews:
    And SmackDown will also kick off proceedings here tonight with some tag team action. And speaking of which listen to this ovation for JTG and Shad, none other than Cryme Tyme!

    The crowd really enjoy the duo as they make their way down the ring and high five those in the front row either side of the aisle. JTG and Shad Gaspard do their signature taunts in the ring before the first of their two opponents arrive. That man is none other than Goldust as the crowd cheer for the Bizarre One who has been trying to win over brother Cody Rhodes in recent weeks. Goldust taunts and throws his wig down to the floor which gets a pop. That turns to jeers as the Fortunate Son, Ted DiBiase makes his entrance looking smug with himself and talking trash to his tag team partner for this evening as well as Cryme Tyme. DiBiase and Goldust will face off tomorrow night on SmackDown remember with the winner becoming Cody Rhodes’ permanent tag team partner.

    TAG TEAM MATCH
    Cryme Tyme vs. Ted DiBiase & Goldust

    The match starts with JTG and Ted DiBiase going at it with the crowd solidly behind the member of Cryme Tyme. JTG gets the better of the Fortunate Son with his superior speed, connecting with a dropkick and a nice sling blade to DiBiase. JTG tags in Shad as he drops DiBiase with a neckbreaker. Shad follows that up by lifting JTG and launching him onto his opponent with a big LEG DROP! Shad covers for the first time in the match; 1… 2… DiBiase kicks out and won’t be beaten that easily. The former member of Legacy is really struggling now to get a foothold in the match as Gaspard dominates him at every turn. Shad nearly takes his head off with a MASSIVE BOOT to the face as he CLOTHESLINES Ted outside of the ring. Goldust drops down from the apron to check on his tag team partner as he is clearly willing to get along tonight for the betterment of the duo. DiBiase doesn’t take kindly to that though.

    DiBiase pushes Goldust in the chest but before anything else can happen JTG comes out of nowhere with a SOMERSAULT PLANCHA which wipes out Ted as the crowd go nuts for the move and the Cryme Tyme duo do their money, money, yeah, yeah chant to the delight of the WWE Universe. Shad follows it up by going to the outside and dragging DiBiase back into the ring. Cryme Tyme sense this could be their moment to do massive damage to Ted and finish the match. Shad tags JTG in and tells him to go to the top rope. JTG leaps and delivers an AXE HANDLE to DiBiase’s arm as Shad exits the ring and holds onto the tag rope. Things are about to completely change though as JTG goes to the top rope once more and looks for a BLOCKBUSTER to DiBiase. The Fortunate Son sidesteps though and JTG crashes and burns as DiBiase manages to make a desperation tag to Goldust who gets a massive pop as he enters the contest legally for the first time.

    The legendary superstar enters and takes out JTG with a couple of clotheslines before connecting with a huge BACK BODY DROP as the Cruiserweight goes miles in the air. Shad Gaspard gets in the ring and sprints at Goldust but the Bizarre One has it well scouted and pulls down the top rope as the Cryme Tyme member flies to the outside and lands hard on the floor. JTG tries to blindside Goldust but he ducks underneath an attempted clothesline and on the rebound Goldust catches him with a beautiful SCOOP POWERSLAM. Goldust hooks the leg; 1…… 2…… JTG just gets the shoulder up to avoid defeat. Goldust gets the crowd pumped even more by taunting before turning his attention back to JTG. Goldust goes to the top rope facing into the crowd and leaps backwards delivering a huge CROSSBODY to the Cryme Tyme member! This could be it. 1……… 2……… JTG just gets the shoulder up once again.

    Goldust doesn’t show any frustration and stays focused and ready to pounce on his opponent. The Bizarre One calls for the CURTAIN CALL but before JTG is back to his feet Ted DiBiase tags himself into the match. The crowd boo loudly as Goldust looked like he was well on his way to winning the contest for his team. Goldust has words with his opponent tomorrow night on SmackDown but DiBiase tries to talk his way out of it. While all this is going on JTG manages to crawl his way over to his corner and tags in big Shad Gaspard as the powerhouse comes in and DOUBLE CLOTHESLINES both Goldust and DiBiase! Goldust rolls to the outside with the impact leaving DiBiase in a bad position with Shad who tags JTG straight back in and sets the Fortunate Son up for the G9! JTG covers DiBiase and this one is academic from here. 1………… 2………… 3! Cryme Tyme beat Goldust and Ted DiBiase to pick up some momentum in the tag team division.
    Spoiler:

    Winners: Cryme Tyme

    Mathews:
    Cryme Tyme win thanks to Ted DiBiase making another poor decision. Goldust looked like he was about to seal victory but the former member of Legacy decided to tag himself in for some reason and that led to him being devastated by big Shad Gaspard who looks unstoppable lately alongside JTG. Cryme Tyme pick up a victory.
    Striker:
    They do indeed and while I may not approve of their standing in society as hoodlums they can certainly get it done between the ropes as they proved here tonight. I think this thing is going to explode tomorrow night between Goldust and Ted DiBiase though when they compete to see who becomes the permanent tag team partner for Cody Rhodes. It is clear they can’t get along but who will end up alongside Cody?
    Mathews:
    We will find out tomorrow night on SmackDown as we are just three days from Cyber Sunday. Still plenty more here to come tonight including out main event which sees none other than the Apex Predator, Randy Orton taking on The Masterpiece, Chris Masters.

    Back in the ring Cryme Tyme celebrate their victory as Goldust scowls at Ted DiBiase from the outside. The Fortunate Son shows no remorse for his actions as he retreats up the ramp as WWE Superstars goes to a commercial break and we get the don’t try this at home video promo which is regularly shown.

    We return to the show backstage with interviewer RAW broadcast team member Todd Grisham who has a special guest with him at this time.

    Backstage Interviewer – Todd Grisham:
    Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, she is one of the women who is in contention to challenge Mickie James for the DIVA’s Championship this Sunday, she is the Paparazzi Princess, MELINA!

    Melina comes into shot looking intense in jeans and a merchandise t-shirt as she gets a lot of heat from the crowd before Grisham continues.

    Backstage Interviewer – Todd Grisham:
    Melina, in just three nights either yourself, Alicia Fox or Gail Kim will challenge Mickie James for the DIVA’s Championship. What I want to know is why should you be the challenger in Minneapolis?

    Paparazzi Princess – Melina:
    It is simple. Whether these fans want to admit it or not there is only one woman in the WWE deserving of challenging Mickie James and deserving to hold the DIVA’s Championship. That woman is myself. I am a five-time DIVA’s Champion and I am the most dominant and beautiful DIVA this company has ever seen. Mickie James got lucky at Night of Champions when she won the title in a Triple Threat Match that also included Alicia Fox but in any one-on-one match between the two of us it is simple. The Paparazzi Princess wins back her title!

    Backstage Interviewer – Todd Grisham:
    But what is Alicia Fox or Gail Kim beat you in the vote Melina? Should you not be considering that you might not get the title shot at Cyber Sunday?

    Paparazzi Princess – Melina:
    Alicia Fox had her opportunity at Cyber Sunday and she was the reason we lost as team on Monday night to Mickie James and Eve Torres. It is clear she isn’t in my league. And as for Gail Kim, well she has clearly been avoiding fighting me as she is on SmackDown where quite simply there is no competition whatsoever in the DIVA’s division. It is very simple. Melina will walk into Cyber Sunday as the rightful challenger and I will walk out the NEW DIVA’s Champion!

    With that Melina walks out of the backstage interview area as Grisham reminds us what fans will be voting for ahead of Cyber Sunday.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We head back into the arena where The Hart Dynasty entrance theme hits and the crowd pop as Tyson Kidd comes through the curtain. He makes his way down to the ring for his singles match coming up. The rest of The Hart Dynasty and The Empire have been banned from ringside by SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long for tonight’s one-on-one contest. Tyson Kidd gets in the ring and taunts to another pop before his opponent enters. That man is none other than the Belfast Brawler, Finlay who gets a lot of heat from the WWE Universe. Finlay doesn’t care though and walks down to the ring with Shillelagh in hand. He gets in the ring, stares at Kidd as the bell rings and we are underway.
    SINGLES MATCH
    Tyson Kidd vs. Finlay
    Tyson Kidd goes straight after Finlay with the two brawling as they clearly hate each other after The Hart Dynasty and The Empire have been feuding for a number of months. Kidd hammers away at Finlay and the Northern Irishman responds by delivering plenty of his own as well. Finlay gets the advantage as he kicks Kidd in the gut out of nowhere and decks Tyson Kidd with a SHORT-ARM CLOTHESLINE! Kidd has all air driven out of him in an instant as Finlay goes for a cover; 1… 2… Kidd kicks out and avoids a sudden defeat at the hands of The Empire member. Finlay works at a slower methodical place just how he likes it dominating the smaller man. He stomps away and hammers away at The Hart Dynasty member before he smirks and the crowd boo loudly at him dominating Kidd. Finlay picks Tyson up and drops him again with a ROLLING FIREMAN’S CARRY SLAM! Finlay pins again; 1…… 2…… Kidd shows some more resilience in kicking out.
    Finlay Irish whips Tyson Kidd hard into the turnbuckle to continue building momentum as the former WWE Tag Team Champion collapses in a heap on the canvas. Finlay gets Kidd back to his feet and stands him in the corner before taking a few steps back and going for a big corner clothesline. Kidd gets his foot up though to rock Finlay as he explodes out of the corner with a huge NECKBREAKER. Kidd is gasping for air as he finally gets some offense in against Finlay and looks to continue his onslaught. Kidd goes to the top rope and waits for the Belfast Brawler to get to his feet and leaps delivering a huge BLOCKBUSTER! Tyson Kidd hooks both legs looking for a big win ahead of The Hart Dynasty challenging for the WWE Tag Team Championship at Cyber Sunday; 1……… 2……… Finlay kicks out and keeps the match alive. Tyson Kidd is now solidly in this match though as he stands and waits for Finlay to get to his feet.
    Kidd connects with a number of kicks, a spinning back fist and a beautiful clothesline sending Finlay back to the canvas when he again ascends the ropes. Kidd waits for The Empire member to get to his feet before jumping but Finlay swats Kidd out of the air as he goes for a MISSILE DROPKICK! Finlay smirks before he sprints across the ring and leaps, driving all of the air out of Kidd once again with a RUNNING SENTON. Finlay realises he is well on top in the match now and signals that it is time to put Tyson Kidd away for good. The Belfast Brawler calls for the CELTIC CROSS but as he goes to pick Kidd up he is met with a massive ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!! Finlay collapses in a heap to the mat and this could be it! 1………… 2………… The Belfast Brawler just manages to get the shoulder up and keeps the match alive. Kidd cannot believe it as the crowd start a chant of Tyson, Tyson, Tyson. Kidd appreciates it and re-focuses on Finlay delivering a stunning SPINNING WHEEL KICK!.
    Kidd goes to the top rope again and looks like going high risk once again. Kidd leaps and delivers a huge CROSSBODY which takes out Finlay. Kidd stays in position for the back press; 1………… 2………… Finlay kicks out again as Kidd shows the first signs of frustration at not putting away his opponent so far. Tyson quickly gets back on track and chooses high-risk again as he climbs the turnbuckles. He waits for a wobbly Finlay to get to a vertical base before jumping but is caught in a huge SITOUT POWERBOMB from the Belfast Brawler! The Empire member doesn’t have enough to immediately pin though and instead uses the ropes to get his energy back before lifting Tyson Kidd back to his feet and in position for the CELTIC CROSS! Finlay connects with his finishing manoeuvre! This has to be it. 1…………… 2…………… 3! The Empire gain some momentum going into Cyber Sunday!
    Spoiler:
    Winner: Finlay
    Mathews:
    Finlay picks up a big win here tonight over Tyson Kidd just three nights before Cyber Sunday when The Empire will defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against The Hart Dynasty with a referee of your choosing. Will it be Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, SmackDown GM, Theodore Long or none other than William Regal? I cannot wait to find out Matt!
    Striker:
    This is what Cyber Sunday is all about. We don’t know how these things are going to turn out. The Hart Dynasty will be hoping for Bret Hart, The Empire will be desperate for William Regal and what would Teddy Long do if he got the nod? One thing that is clear is that Finlay has got some momentum for The Empire with this hard-fought win over Tyson Kidd tonight.
    Mathews:
    No doubt about it. Finlay is one of the toughest we have here in the WWE and Kidd was very game here tonight but he just couldn’t do enough to secure a big win for himself in singles competition. Well don’t go anywhere ladies and gentleman as we still have two more matches to come here tonight including Randy Orton going one-on-one with Chris Masters here tonight on Superstars!
    Finlay celebrates up the ramp as he shouts ‘The Empire will conquer all’ to the crowd who boo him loudly. The camera cuts to Tyson Kidd in the ring who looks distraught at losing here tonight. Finlay celebrates at the top of the ramp before the camera fades and we go to a commercial break and a promo for the most interactive pay per view of the year, Cyber Sunday!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cole:
    Welcome back to WWE Superstars everyone and it has been some night so far as we move ever closer to Cyber Sunday where we have a stacked card for the event. The WWE Champion, Jack Swagger will defend the title against none other than Triple H in arguably his biggest challenge of his career so far. Will The Game walk out victorious or will the All American American hold onto the title once again?
    King:
    We will have to wait and find out Cole and don’t forget we have a battle of the giants as the Big Show goes toe-to-toe with Kane. We have no idea what type of match it will be though. The fans will get to choose whether these two behemoths collide in an I Quit Match, a Street Fight or my personal favourite, an Inferno Match!
    Cole:
    But that is all on Sunday King. We have the first of two RAW matches about to take place and here come the undefeated and absolutely dominant duo known as Rough Justice!! Tyler Reks and Vance Archer have been unstoppable since debuting on Monday Night RAW a number of weeks ago but tonight they face their toughest test.
    Red and black lights flash with the rock music of Reks and Archer playing and smoke filling the arena as well. Rough Justice make their slow and methodical entrance down the ramp as the crowd give them a mixed reaction. Some clearly boo them for the heels they are but their impressive performances have earned them some cheers from the more hardcore demographic in the audience. Reks and Archer pace around the ring as they await their opponents. A nice pop for Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin as the World’s Greatest Tag Team bound down the ramp to the ring. The duo look ready to go up against Rough Justice after being defeated in 6-man tag action on RAW this past Monday. Both teams are ready as referee Chad Patton gets us started by asking for the bell.
    TAG TEAM MATCH
    Rough Justice vs. The World’s Greatest Tag Team
    Vance Archer starts the contest with Charlie Haas and he does it with a bang as he instantly turns his opponent inside out with a monumental LARIAT! The crowd gasp at the impact as Shelton Benjamin looks concerned in his corner and the referee checks on Haas. Archer is not going to stop there though as he gets Haas to his feet powerfully and throws Haas across the ring with an OVERHEAD BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX as Haas crashes hard down on the canvas and some of the crowd cheer the brutality they are seeing from Archer. Haas is motionless on the mat and Archer isn’t done yet as he gets one half of the World’s Greatest Tag Team to his feet again and this time slams him down to the canvas with a FALLAWAY SLAM! Haas goes flying to the outside of the ring under the bottom rope and lands with an audible thud. Benjamin scurries round the ring on the outside to check on his partner but Archer cuts him off as he Irish whips Haas brutally into the STEEL STEPS!
    The sound echoes throughout the arena as the referee checks on Haas who refuses to give up and Benjamin gets back on the ring apron hoping somehow that Haas can make a tag. Archer Irish whips Haas hard into the turnbuckle where Tyler Reks is standing and the Rough Justice member is tagged in. The destruction doesn’t stop as Reks runs full speed ahead at Haas and connects with a big CORNER SPLASH. Reks follows that up with a huge FLAPJACK driving Charlie Haas face-first into the canvas. Shelton is now getting really frustrated on the outside and tries to get the crowd behind Haas. Reks just keeps his intense stare going as Haas very slowly gets to his feet with the help of the ring ropes. Reks urges Haas to come at him and he obliges but he only runs straight into a BIG BOOT! Haas hits the canvas again hard as Reks covers; 1… 2… Shelton Benjamin breaks up the pin attempt!
    That does not go down with Reks in the ring who looks at Archer on the outside. The Rough Justice member gets in the ring and ploughs through Benjamin as he flies to the outside. Archer follows Shelton to the outside and gets him in position delivering a CHOKESLAM on the outside! Shelton Benjamin is motionless as the crowd gasp at the impact of his body hitting the floor. Archer now gets back in the ring as Reks tosses Haas across the ring with a huge SUPLEX. Archer picks up Haas on his shoulders and goes to stand on the second rope with Haas in devastating position for THE SENTENCING! Archer drops Haas from the second rope across the knee of Tyler Reks in a brutal move which might just have broken the ribs of Charlie Haas. Tyler Reks hooks the leg; 1……… 2……… 3! Rough Justice continue their dominance in the tag team division and pick up an impressive win on WWE Superstars.
    Spoiler:
    Winners: Rough Justice
    Cole:
    Rough Justice win again and Tyler Reks and Vance Archer look utterly unstoppable. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are former WWE Tag Team Champions and Rough Justice just absolutely destroyed them here tonight on Superstars. That Chokeslam to Shelton Benjamin on the outside was absolutely sickening. Who in the world can stop these two powerhouses King?
    King:
    Honestly I’m not sure there is anyone at this point Cole. Anyone who has stood in their way has been dispatched with ease. Reks and Archer may be the two most dominant superstars in the entire WWE right now. As you say The World’s Greatest Tag Team are one heck of a team but Reks and Archer just annihilated them. That move they use off the ropes, The Sentencing is absolutely brutal.
    Cole:
    It certainly is and we have yet to see someone get up from that. It might be a long time before anyone can stop Reks and Archer collectively known as Rough Justice!
    In the ring Reks and Archer celebrate another victory as the lights go dim and red, white and black flashing lights accompany their loud rock music to underline how much of a special act they are. Medical staff attend to Shelton Benjamin on the outside as he hasn’t moved since being planted by Vance Archer on the outside with that Chokeslam. The screen fades as WWE Superstars goes to another commercial break.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    We return to Superstars with the theme song playing for Cyber Sunday and a video package playing for the WWE Championship bout between Jack Swagger and Triple H at the interactive pay per view in just three nights. We flashback to the last time these two met with the WWE Championship on the line at Night of Champions. We go back to the final moments of the match.

    Quote Originally Posted by Night of Champions

Swagger has the ANKLE LOCK in again and on the same ankle as earlier in the match. Triple H yelps in pain as Swagger applies more and more pressure and then suddenly falls and braces the leg of the King of Kings. The WWE Universe go crazy as Triple H screams in pain and has no option but to TAP OUT to the submission hold. Jack Swagger shocks the world and retains the WWE Championship.

    Cole: Jack Swagger has done it! Nobody gave him a prayer of winning this match tonight at Night of Champions but he has proved the world wrong and listen to this place! The Allstate Arena has come unglued!
    The evening following Night of Champions is shown with Triple H beating Batista to win a Beat the Clock Challenge and become the number one contender for the WWE Championship once again. We jump forward to the September 27 edition of RAW with Kofi Kingston facing Triple H in the main event.

Swagger laughs in Triple H’s face knowing he can’t go through the Co-RAW GM to get to him and returns to the ring. But the distraction is huge as Kofi Kingston delivers TROUBLE IN PARADISE!!!!! Kingston pins as the WWE Universe go absolutely crazy. 1……… 2……… 3! Kofi Kingston has beaten the WWE Champion in a shocker on Monday Night RAW!

    Cole: Kofi Kingston has done it! Kingston has beaten the WWE Champion, Jack Swagger! I don’t believe it. Kingston just hit Trouble in Paradise and pinned Swagger one, two, three in the centre of the ring.
    Finally we jump to this past Monday Night on RAW with the WWE Champion, Jack Swagger taking on Randy Orton in the main event but it didn’t end well for the All American American.

    A voice is then heard at the end of the video: “This Sunday the WWE Championship is on the line as the All American American, Jack Swagger takes on The Game, Triple H to determine who is the dominant man on Monday Night RAW. War is on its way to Cyber Sunday!”

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cole:
    Welcome back to WWE Superstars everyone and the WWE Championship Match at Cyber Sunday is sure to be a massive one. Jack Swagger got the better of Triple H at Night of Champions and actually made The Game tap out but since then this rivalry has really escalated King. I cannot wait for these two to collide in Minneapolis at Cyber Sunday in just three nights!
    King:
    Swagger has proven his credentials ever since cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase back at Fatal 4 Way against John Cena. He then went on to defend the title against the Chain Gang Solider and as you said Cole he has already beaten Triple H as well. But the X-factor in this match is none other than Vickie Guerrero. You’ve got to believe the RAW Co-General Manager is going to have some sort of say on the outcome.
    Cole:
    Triple H has a lot to think about for sure but we now have a huge main event for you on WWE Superstars as the man that beat John Cena this past Monday on RAW, Chris Masters has another challenge on his hands when he goes one-on-one with The Viper, Randy Orton. And here comes the Apex Predator and he’s not alone!!!
    The crowd go nuts as Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring and is accompanied by none other than John Cena. This is a sight to behold with the two long-time rivals coming together. We know that Cena and Orton will team up at Cyber Sunday against Chris Masters and Carlito. Orton gets in the ring and taunts on one turnbuckle with Cena on the other as the two multiple-time WWE Champions get a monumental pop before the main event tonight on Superstars. The atmosphere completely flips when the Masterpiece, Chris Masters enters with his cocky and arrogant tag team partner Carlito. Masters flexes his muscles and poses at the top of the ramp with fireworks going off before he walks down to the ring and steps inside ordering the referee to make sure Cena stays away from home after this past Monday on RAW. Finally we are ready and the main event gets underway.
    SINGLES MATCH
    Randy Orton w/ John Cena vs. Chris Masters w/ Carlito
    Randy Orton immediately goes after Chris Masters and looks to take the strongman down with a number of punches, forearms and a big clothesline. Masters is rocked as is Carlito on the outside as Cena smirks at the way Orton has made an impact to kick off the main event. Orton finally takes Masters down with a huge CLOTHESLINE as he bursts out of the turnbuckle after being Irish whipped there. Orton goes for the quick cover but unsurprisingly The Masterpiece is quick to kick out and won’t be beaten that fast. Orton is quick to stomp away at Masters as he gets back to his feet. The Viper keeps building momentum as he takes down his opponent with a nice SWINGING NECKBREAKER. Orton goes for the pin once more; 1… 2… Masters kicks out again despite more punishment being inflicted on him. Randy taunts to the crowd who give him a huge ovation as Cena applauds his unlikely ally from the outside.
    Orton is well on top but pandering to the crowd proves to be his downfall as when he turns his attention back to Masters he is Irish whipped and floored with a beautiful POWERSLAM. In one quick moment the momentum has shifted as Masters hooks the leg of Orton; 1… 2… Randy kicks out but The Masterpiece realises this is his moment to strike. Masters Irish whips Orton into the turnbuckle and runs full speed ahead with a huge CORNER CLOTHESLINE before dropping Orton on the back of his head with a picture perfect BACK DROP. Orton writhes in pain as the commentators point out his chronic back and shoulder problems to the WWE Universe. Masters high fives Carlito on the outside which gets him some major heat. The Masterpiece stays focused on the former WWE Champion though and hammers away at Orton until The Apex Predator ducks underneath one and connects with a DROPKICK which rocks Masters. But before Orton can do anything else, Masters lifts Orton quickly and brutally floors him with a SAMOAN DROP! 1…… 2…… Orton just gets the shoulder up.
    Masters is dominating at this juncture in the contest and laughs at his fallen opponent. He stomps away at The Viper until lifting him up into the turnbuckle area in order for him to light up his chest with multiple chops. Masters then shows off his strength by launching Orton half way across the ring as he lands with a thud and the referee checks if he can continue. Carlito trash talks Cena on the outside as this is going on and is heard saying that Cena and Orton are has-beens. Masters smirks at Orton who is laying prone in a heap and covers; 1…… 2…… The Apex Predator kicks out and won’t accept defeat yet against his young upstart opponent. Masters drags Randy to his feet and puts him in a BEARHUG which drives all the air out of his opponent. The anguish is etched all over Orton’s face as he struggles to breathe. John Cena starts banging on the ring skirt to try and get the crowd to help the fan favourite and it seems to work as Randy delivers a couple of elbows to the head of The Masterpiece. But just like that Masters ends the comeback as he nails Orton with a SIDEWALK SLAM and hooks the leg; 1……… 2……… Orton again somehow manages to get the shoulder up.
    Randy is in a real tough spot in this main event match on WWE Superstars as the crowd are extremely concerned with the damage he has taken at the hands of Masters. And it doesn’t look like he is done yet either as The Masterpiece elects to slowly make his way to the top rope. You don’t see this often from the big man and that is why! Masters leaps but is met with a huge DROPKICK from Orton as both men are down in the centre of the ring and the referee begins to count both wrestlers out. He reaches eight before both Masters and Orton are back to their feet and slugging it out once again with The Viper getting the better of The Masterpiece and connecting with three European uppercuts before Irish whipping Masters and nailing him with a SNAP SCOOP POWERSLAM! Masters rolls the ring apron as Cena gets the crowd going in anticipation of what this could lead to for Orton. Is this the turning point in the match?
    Orton is pumped up and senses this is his moment to take out his opponent and pick up a huge win tonight. Randy sees that the Masterpiece has rolled over to the ring apron which is not a position anyone ever wants to be in against The Viper. Randy grabs Masters by the head and props him on the second ring rope before dropping him hard with his patented ROPE-HUNG DDT! Orton opts against going for a pinfall attempt though and instead taunts to the crowd and signals for the RKO!!! Randy like a snake slithers on the ring canvas but as he waits for a groggy Masters to get up to his feet Carlito jumps up onto the ring apron and the referee is immediately distracted. John Cena doesn’t let it happen for long though as he sprints round to the side of the ring and sweeps the legs of Carlito! The superstar from the Caribbean lands with a huge thud on the floor much to the delight of the WWE Universe.
    Back in the ring Orton has been distracted by everything that is going on and as he turns around to try and re-focus on Chris Masters he is met with a brutal CLOTHESLINE which nearly takes the former WWE Champion’s head off. The Masterpiece sees Carlito downed on the outside and realises he probably needs to act fast if he is to beat Orton here tonight. Masters gets Orton to his feet and signals for the MASTER LOCK! Randy realises he has to avoid the monumental hold which has beaten so many men as he grabs hold of the ropes while Masters tries to apply the submission. The referee forces the muscular wrestler to break the hold and he chooses to argue with the official. This is the only moment Randy Orton needs to take advantage as when Masters turns around he is met with a monumental RKO!!! The crowd go absolutely nuts at the suddenness of the manoeuvre as Orton hooks the leg and Cena smiles on the outside; 1……… 2……… 3!
    Spoiler:
    Winner: Randy Orton
    Cole:
    Randy Orton picks up a huge win with that RKO out of nowhere! Masters looks good for large periods in that match but the presence of John Cena on the outside helped to even the playing field when Carlito invariably looked to make an impact and it would be the Apex Predator who picked up a massive win going into their clash at Cyber Sunday in Minneapolis in just a few short days.
    King:
    Orton is so deadly with that RKO. You cannot turn your back on The Viper at any point or he will take you out and that is the tough lesson Chris Masters learned here tonight. Orton and Cena teaming on Sunday though has me intrigued. These two are seemingly getting along well but are they really going to be able to co-exist long-term? Maybe as long as Carlito and Masters are their opponents they will be just fine.
    Cole:
    Orton and Cena is certainly one heck of a team and one that I don’t think anyone was expecting. But Randy Orton proved here tonight he is still at the top of his game. Thank you everyone for joining us on WWE Superstars this week. Goodnight!
    Randy Orton celebrates after beating Chris Masters with John Cena alongside him in the ring. There is definitely some tension between the two but The Viper does seem to acknowledge that Cena helped him win that match by taking care of Carlito on the outside. Cena leaves Orton to bask in his glory as he makes his way up the ramp and the final shot of the show is Randy doing his signature taunt on the ropes with the crowd giving him a huge pop.
    Re: WWE: The New Vision
    Some quick thoughts on Superstars ahead of what is going to be a very unpredictable yet enjoyable Cyber Sunday.
    The tag team of Dibiase/Goldust was always going to be an iffy one given that both want to be Cody's number one priority. It shows here as the chance to one up Goldust gets in the way for Ted and costs the pair the win. I'm definitely keen to see where this storyline goes but part of me feels that Legacy starting up is the best direction to take this feud, although you do need that final piece of the jigsaw to complete the group.
    I like Melina. I think she's very underrated but here she does sound confident. Part of me wanted to go with Gail Kim for my choice but I think I'll go with Melina just to give her a shot at winning the title.
    Finlay gets the win for The Empire and I won't allow that to cast my judgement on what goes down at CS as there is still Smackdown for plenty to happen.
    Rough Justice with another huge win. They are getting to the point where they need to be thrown into the tag title mix, which won't bode well for the champs.
    Nice recap of the Swagger/Trips feud. won't publically reveal my choice for this one but I'm going with the guy that I think opens up some different ways of moving the World Championship forward.
    Finally a decent main event match between two of the tag participants for this Sunday. The result makes me think that Carlito and Masters will get the win to possibly set off a Cena/Orton feud, which would lead nicely into the first paragraph of this review. I can sense that this was shoehorned into the Cyber Sunday card but it actually fits quite nicely if that is the way you are going.
    Overall another enjoyable piece from you Order. Looking forward to Smackdown and Cyber Sunday. Keep up the great work
    Well that sucks. I was pretty tempted to pick Helms for this one too. Don't think I will be going down the route of Del Rio though. Toss up between the other two really.
    Friday 22nd October 2010
    We are on the final stop before Cyber Sunday and SmackDown is sure to be another amazing show. Daniel Bryan will challenge Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship at the event and he will have a mega match in the main event of SmackDown this Friday. The American Dragon will take on the Straight Edge Saviour, CM Punk who has been on some role as of late as he heads into Cyber Sunday. Punk could be involved in a Triple Threat Match at the event against Edge and Mr Money in the Bank, John Morrison. And talking of Edge, a rivalry will be renewed as the Rated R Superstar takes on the leader of The Empire, Sheamus who he lost the World Heavyweight Championship too. Both Edge and Sheamus will be desperate for some momentum ahead of what is going to be a huge Cyber Sunday pay per view.
    SmackDown also has three other matches announced which are sure to have big implications. Goldust and Ted DiBiase will clash after not getting on for weeks. Cody Rhodes has said it is time that they sorted out their differences and the winner of their match this Friday on SmackDown will become his permanent tag team partner. Will it be the Bizarre One who comes out on top or will the Fortunate Son once again team up with Cody Rhodes?
    Two other contests will also take place with Cyber Sunday implications. Dolph Ziggler will defend his Intercontinental Championship this Sunday but the WWE Universe will get to decide his opponent. The options are Evan Bourne, Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio. But on SmackDown Ziggler will team with the undefeated Mexican Aristocrat to take on the high-flying duo of Bourne and Mysterio. The other match will see one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre take on David Hart Smith of The Hart Dynasty. The Empire take on Kidd and Smith at Cyber Sunday for the titles with a special guest referee yet to be decided at Cyber Sunday.
    Tune into SmackDown for all this and more on the final stop before the most interactive pay per view in the WWE.
    Definitely looking forward to Punk versus Bryan.
    Also expecting Cody Rhodes to stab his brother in the back and pick his own partner rather than be forced into teaming with Goldy.
    Good luck!!
