That's what I'm looking for Fuji, thanks. Didn't wanna go all in on the top tier stuff immediately and give the rest too high an expectation to meet.

Re: The Totally Random Movie Discussion Thread

According to Elizabeth Debicki's reps, 'CLOVERFIELD 3' will no longer release in February 2018 with no updated release date currently
So this movie was supposed to come out next month, but there's no trailer, or news.

UPDATE: Paramount has confirmed to us via email that ‘CLOVERFIELD 3’ will release on April 20th 2018

Anyone ever see the movie Charro! starring Elvis. Pretty good movie, I'm actually watching this for free on the Roku channel.

I wonder how long it will be until there is a horror movie centered around Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Just watched Batman Returns again. Man, it was hard to watch for me. Very long, and just overall not interesting. There are some great actors in this, but man it just didn't do it for me. Did anyone really enjoy this? Because looking up reviews of it a lot of people seemed to love it.

I will say though Christopher Walken was awesome in this, I fucking love that guy.

I love Batman Returns. I do agree it's a tag too long but I love everything else about it.

Yeah Danny DeVito was also really good in it. Love Michael Keaton and Michelle Pfeiffer was surpringly good. Fuck the more I talk the more I'm doubting everything. Maybe it was just the length of it that put me off.

Batman Returns is the best Batman movie that doesn't star Adam West. Burton's dystopian vision comes to full fruition, the acting is off the charts and it's as dark as anything Nolan dreamed up in his supposedly superior trilogy. As far as it being long, it's the exact same length as the first Keaton movie and shorter than any of Nolan's so maybe you just felt like it was longer because you weren't enjoying it?

I also felt the plot was very compelling. Not only did you have the Penguin's vile scheme to kill all the firstborn children in Gotham, you had Max trying to influence politics to build his crazy power plant and a great subplot with the duality between Catwoman and Batman. Plus it's also a great Christmas movie.

In my defense I've watched almost 60 wrestling matches already this year. I'm on a 2 week vacation, and I've heard more Japanese in one week than I have in my lifetime.

Maybe I'm just fatigued. I know I enjoyed the original Batman, and I really think Michael Keaton was the best Batman.

Keaton, aside from Conroy & West, is definitely one of my favorite Batman castings.
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some 50 miles of concrete highway. We pay for a single fighter with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people... It is humanity hanging from a cross of iron."

I got a 25.00 gift card for Amazon for xmas so I decided to get the greatest alien abduction movie. It's called Intruders and it was a 2 part tv movie back in 1992. The dvd cost me 30.00 brand new and it was worth it. It's scary as fuck and honestly it's the music in it that creates this atmosphere that makes the hair on my neck stand up.

I've been meaning to watch the Michael Keaton Batman movies again. I've also been meaning to watch the Val Kilmer and George Clooney Batman movies, to see if they are really as bad as everyone says. Batman is my second favorite movie franchise, behind Star Wars.

I will add that Kilmer ruled as Batman, but Schumacher's direction fucked that movie. Clooney is, however, that bad. He has the perfect look for an older Bruce Wayne but he was just so wooden.

From the looks of it, Peter Rabbit has got to be the second dumbest movie of 2018 (second to the 50 Shades of Gray sequel).
