The England/Italy game is probably the least predictable match there. I really want Italy to do well because they've provided some very entertaining football (and the 3-5-2 is awesome).

Portugal, Germany and Spain seem like givens for the other matches. I'd put Italy as slight favourites for the last QF.

Monday Night Ra- actually on second thoughts better not.

I'd agree with Shock's opinion that Italy are the slight favourites, even though I'll back Roy's lads to do the upset and reach the semi finals. Will be interesting to see how we line up in that game, neither Hodgson or the players will be used to playing against a 3-5-2 formation.

This is where everything gets tight and no one wants to make a mistake.

Ideal semi final line ups (despite us already seeing these games):

    Portugal vs. Germany
    Spain vs. Italy

Italy/England is going to be tight. I'd be shocked if there was more than 1 goal in it.

I don't mind seeing another Italy/Spain match. That was my favourite game of the tournament so far.

They cant get eachother again until final

Winner of Portugal game takes on Winner of Spain game

Winner of Germany game takes on winner of Italy game

    WC 2006 semi repeat perhaps

    Germany v Italy
    France v Portugal

    That would be interesting

My bet though would be Germany to win with the other 3 all to draw in 90

Something about Portugal is they tend to underwhelm when favourites

This man is correct. I missread the brackets (or in other words, didn't read the brackets)

I agree with this to an extent, but i think the Ronaldo factor cannot be ignored. He's at the level now where he can just take the game away from teams, i wouldnt bet against him blowing away the Czechs tomorrow night.

I think this Portugal side are a lot more experienced, in Moutinho, Nani, Ronaldo, Pepe, Coentrao, Meireles youve got players used to playing at the very highest level. I will tip a 3-1 Portugal win.

I reckon Cech owes the Czechs one, and Portugal 04 had Carvalho, Ronaldo, Deco, Figo and Pauleta

I hope Ronaldo can show the world he can do it on the big stage in the big games for his country

But I also hope the likes of Pilar, Jiracek can show some quality, I think those two have been great for the Czechs

CRon is a total boss! Portugal would be mediocre without him.

Their next game should proviate a much greater test though!

As for tomorrow's game, could see a real thumping. I fancy Greece to win by at least 4

As impressive as portugal have been they should have a ton of goals behind them. Over 70 shots on goal in 4 games and only 6 goals. Crazy stuff.

Well I don't believe it. Georgias Samaras brings Greece level. A massive shocker, a huge shocker.

Glad for Greece, the debt is wiped
