This is the round where I hate all of you.

I like Sheamus a lot. I think he's an easy Top 10 US guy. But Sami would probably be my pick for best country in the States right now and has been arguably the most super-consistant guy going for around 2 years now. He doesn't always have blowaway MOTYCs, but he always has GOOD matches, against a whole bunch of different guys, in different promotion, in different situations. Sheamus really hasn't done diddly squat this year outside the Bryan matches, has been pretty boring as a character and his push to being a supposed megastar was nerfed and he has received backlash. Sami is pretty much *the man* on the indy circuit and is a better promo and just, yeah.

    Sami wins. F you all.

I want to vote Sami out for just having the most shit look in wrestling but I haven't seen much outside of a decent match with Finlay. I will say though that Sheamus gets a lot of crap but he was/probably is one of the most solid guys in the WWE. Granted his popularity got cut in half when he beat Bryan in 18 seconds but this isn't who gets the best reactions, it is who a better wrestler is.

AND CAN WE GET A DAMN RECOMMENDATION LIST?! Geez. We get useless facts that tell me CM Punk is 6'7 and was trained by Arnold Flair "The Steiner" but can't say "Hay! I hurr dis sht was good" list? Sami vs. Generico, Sami vs. Finlay, and Sami vs. Sasaki. Bam! I just worked fucking magic.

Easily goes to Callihan. Guy has been the GOAT on the indies for a while now and I pretty much have the same thoughts on Sheamus current year as Steventon does. Sheamoose as a face just doesnt do anything for me either.

I'm saving my vote in case it needs it, but I'd love to see someone make a case for Sheamus over Sami here. Particularly by the people who voted for Sheamus.

I'm not so sold. I'd say his ER match with Bryan is as good or better than Sami's best in the last six months and while Sami has a better body of work, Sheamus doesn't have bad matches either and is one of the better guys going today.

Not positive who I'm voting for but it's not as one sided as it sounds. I love Sami, though so.. undecided.

    Spoiler:

Sheamus/Bryan was great for sure, but if it comes down to overall body of work I'd find it hard to vote him over Sami. While I agree that Sheamus doesn't put on bad matches, I just feel Sami's stuff is better overall. Plus the guy works his ass off and normally can be counted on for potential MOTN's in back to back shows on the same weekend, which is more than I can say for Sheamus.

Re: Best Wrestler in North America Round 2: Sami Callihan vs Sheamus

Sami Callihan is the MVP of the indies at the moment, and he has been for quite some time. Mixing crisp suplexes with lariats like that, not to mention his unparalleled story telling, come on..

I love Sheamus, but Sami is legit my fave wrestler at the moment.

I haven't watched allot of indy but if Sami is MVP then that is terrible. He was awful in his match Finlay.
