I love Hero, but Roode's been a BOSS since he won the title and one of the best parts of TNA.

Re: Best Wrestler in North America Round 2: Robert Roode vs Kassius Ohno

Ohno hasn't impressed me since joining FCW, neesd to get his old school Hero back. Start interacting with the fans, he was always great at it.

Roode. Roode is the boss. Roode gets my vote.

Roode. He is doing a tremendous job in TNA atm. I watch and say "Here comes the Champ". An easy choice for me.

Re: Best Wrestler in North America Round 2: Robert Roode vs Kassius Ohno

How in the blue hell is Roode winning this shit? Hero is lightyears ahead of him in pretty much every aspect of being a wrestler. Better execution, more personality, a better promo, way more versatile, way smarter, can carry lesser workers to good matches, better on the mat, better brawler, better spots, etc..

Honestly, I'm going to assume this is some sort of lame bias towards guys who are on TV/main eventers, because there is no way in hell Roode is half the worker Hero is, and I think Roode is fine despite working like 2003 HHH through most of his reign.

Seen much of Ohno in FCW Steve?

Looks off the boil if I'm honest, and I thought this was just in 2012?

I've seen a little and thought he was solid. But really we all know he is capable of way more. Roode vs Storm was almost certainly Roode's career match as a singles guy, and it wasn't a great match. On the other hand, Hero's last PWG match against Willie Mack was a barnstormer.

I am not going to get mad over an internet poll, but this result is super lame. Someone atleast try to make a case for Roode here.

Re: Best Wrestler in North America Round 2: Robert Roode vs Kassius Ohno

I'm not going to because I don't watch enough TNA, and agreed about the not taking it too seriously, but I'm really not that surprised.

I think the reason I didn't vote Hero is that he hasn't lived up to expectations for me. I fucking love Hero as much as the next guy, but it's a case of what have you done for me lately. Granted I've not seen his Willie Mack match (If you have it, I'll rep you if you put it in Media), but what I have seen these past 5 months, I've not liked because I know he can do better.

Roode on the other hand has consistently impressed me and got me emotionally involved in his matches. Plus his James Storm feud was up there in terms of Feud of the Year so far.

I'll make a case. Roode shouldn't lose because it was a travesty that Hero made it pass Tozawa.

Do people still think Roode is better after that crappy RVD match?

In fairness, when was the last time anyone had anything good with RVD? Especially in a poison environment like a ladder match which exposes just about everything wrong with him.

Like when is a RVD match not crappy? I remember 2009 Richards couldn't even get watchable shit out of the guy.

RVD blows but it's hardly as if Roode was doing much to carry him.

I could be wrong here, but weren't you one of the people who were quick to praise Roode after the match with Storm at Lockdown?
